See No Fruitless Exit Where Sleeping Dogs Lie

Tonight's episode of Big Brother was a pretty good one considering the season is drawing to a close. Yeah, there were several instances of ridiculous suspense. Oh no, who will Dan nominate? We know the nominations don't matter at all this week but the poor hapless souls only watching the television show probably don't. So let's face it. They have to do some creative editing to make them happy. Whoopty dee doo that Jerry and Memphis were nominated.

I was so glad to see the luxury competition get all the attention tonight instead of the nominations. How funny was it that Memphis and Keesha seemed too afraid to make a move when the sumo wrestler was in the house? Dan wasn't afraid to get a little up close and personal though when he snatched that envelope from under the wrestler's rump.

My favorite part of the show by far was all of Jessie being the gorilla. It didn't matter to me that I didn't like him when he was in the house. Who cares? He played the gorilla role wonderfully and was absolutely hirarious in it. It was fun to watch him mock the others in the backyard as they were trying to figure out the puzzle phrase. And when he made that fart sound after shaking Jessie's hand, I laughed out loud. Dan's eyes got as big as silver dollars when he realized who it was. If you're reading this Jessie, thanks for being such a funny gorilla!

Now let's go over the phrases that these numbskulls came up with. Jerry's first guess was the "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" phrase. And all because there was a giant picture of an ear and an emu with glasses on it in the backyard. I guess parts of that phrase could be considered helpful in the game. His second guess was "diamond's are a girl's best friend" and it was absolutely stupid. That has absolutely nothing to do with the game. Jerry's third guess of "a dog is a man's best friend" was even dumber. This coming from a man that proclaims to do puzzles all the time at home.

Keesha's first guess of "where sleeping dogs lie" was even worse than Jerry's three attempts. So there was a stuffed wolf lying in the backyard. How is that phrase helpful in the game? I thought it was a given. Her second guess of "blew it" was almost one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in Big Brother this season. At least her third guess of "don't count your chickens before your eggs are hatched" made a little bit more sense.

Now remember how I said I thought Keesha's second guess was almost one of the dumbest things I'd heard? The absolute dumbest thing we heard tonight was Memphis guess of "fruitless exit". What in the sam hell does that mean? Have you ever heard of that phrase before? Even if it was a real phrase, how is it helpful? What an idiot he is at puzzles. I expect him to perform poorly in the second part of the HOH competition this week that's for sure.

As we know, Dan won the luxury competition by guessing the phrase "bury the hatchet" and won a trip outside of the house. I was thinking he'd be lying about going to the beach but it turns out it was true. And everybody's suspicions were confirmed when he chose Michelle to go with him. What was interesting was the choices he had. He could have either taken somebody from within the house or somebody from the jury. I think that Michelle was the best choice he could have made -- either her or Ollie rather.

I'm worried for Dan though. Should he have taken the safe route and chosen Memphis or even Jerry? Because he didn't tell them or Keesha that he would be taking Michelle from the jury house. His not telling them could backfire on him big time. The hamsters are usually shown a little video of what special thing that person did when they were out of the house. What will they think when they see Michelle with him? Memphis might feel especially betrayed by that. And don't forget that one of them will be going to the jury house themselves on Wednesday after they've finished their media rounds.

So what about the jurors? Will they be told about Dan possibly choosing one of them for something? If so, would any be perturbed that they weren't chosen? What might Michelle tell them when she returns from her trip? If Big Brother doesn't tell them about it, what excuse will they come up for Michelle's absence from the house? Would Michelle be able to keep her mouth shut about it if she had to keep it a secret?

There could be so many consequences for Dan doing what he did. We'll find out in the next week or so how Dan's decision affected his game. I hope it all works out for him but I'm just not sure.

What did you think about the show tonight? Do you think Dan's nominations really meant anything? Did you think Jessie did a good job as a gorilla in the luxury competition? What do you think about Dan's decision concerning his luxury trip? Do you think he should have chosen differently or disclosed the whole deal to the others? Let me know in the comments!

And here's a scheduling reminder. The episode of Big Brother on Tuesday will be live so I will be liveblogging it here for everybody. It's also on at a special time -- 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT. So don't be late!

Jerry Wronged Again

Well last night's show successfully accomplished one thing. It made Jerry out to be the poor victim yet again. They may as well rename the show Big Baby because they certainly don't seem to want to make the viewers appreciate good game play.

In seasons past, they would make the backstabbing fun for the viewer to watch. Cute little music as somebody fell for a plan hook, line, and sinker and then show how much of a fool they were later. Last night, it was poor old Jerry and how Memphis did him wrong by using the POV on Dan. It was the one thing Jerry trusted Memphis not to do but the mean man made a fool of sweet little Jerry. Barf!

I had a problem with another part of the show as well. They didn't show how Keesha and Renny polished off two bottles of wine when they knew the POV competition was coming up. Renny's intoxication was why it took her 23 minutes and 32 seconds to match up the babies' parents. Seriously, how could she not think Jerry was the father of that one baby? Does anybody else see an almost bald gray-haired old man in the house? I wonder if the wine wasn't the only thing that made her lose her damned mind. Perhaps Big Brother slipped her a crack pipe when we weren't looking.

And those babies were some damned ugly babies too! I think the ugliest one was the Libra/Memphis baby by far. Whoever was in charge of morphing those two together really could have done a better job at that. But then I guess it wasn't a baby beauty pageant right?

Memphis was definitely the man last night. He won the POV and removed his friend Dan from the block. He told us how he has everybody in that house wrapped around his little finger. Well except for Renny who he wants to be voted out this week. Memphis, you're going to get your wish!

Besides the eviction and HOH competition on Thursday, we're also going to be shown the jury house. Finally! I could have sworn we would have seen some of it last night. It would have helped break up the monotony that is Jerry.

So what did you think of the show? How did you like those freaky morph babies? What do you think of Memphis' game play?

Updated at 5:50 PM - I was just emailed about this video on YouTube and it's hilarious! Check it out but beware. There is a ton of foul language ahead!

Dear Old Grandpa

This week's show did an excellent job summing everything up that happened through the nominations. For once I even appreciated watching the recaps of Thursday's double eviction episode. It seems like so much has happened since then so it was mind-boggling seeing how crazy that show was again. There was one editing deal I noticed though. Dan's dinger was "fixed" in the recap (remember it took him hitting it several times for it to go off on Thursday). I can't blame them for that one. I was shocked I got so excited at seeing Ollie leave again. Fun times! Fun times!

Speaking of fun times, how great was that segment they did on Keesha's laugh? It had me cracking up here. I've been waiting for that segment for ages. Listening to her laugh on the feeds is ear-splitting sometimes so I was happy that the show-only viewers got a taste of that medicine. And then watching the others remark on her laugh and even imitate her in the diary room was absolutely hilarious.

They really made Renny look like a huge doofus tonight didn't they? First we saw her go around and around with Dan over the correct time in New Orleans. If it's 8:00 in California, it's 6:00 in New Orleans? Hahaha! She got so spittin' mad that Dan was saying she was wrong I was sure she was ready to reach over and punch him. And then finally when Dan and Memphis just agreed to give it up and go along with her, the light bulb went off over her head and she got it. Wow. The sleepwalking segment was cute too. It definitely is a good thing she didn't try to eat a ping pong ball.

Jerry's edit made me nauseated. The bumbling old man with the funky cartoon music in the background. Oh feel sorry for me. Please just talk to me. I won HOH and now everybody likes me. I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't tell a story to save my life. Seriously, what was up with that hissy snake Indian story? I did enjoy how they did the fast forward thing during the epic tale. Just remember everybody: hiss, don't strike and bite. That's the moral of the story.

Dan really had a shot at winning that HOH competition. Too bad his poor aim and bad luck really bit him in the ass in the sixth round. And Renny? Was she awful in that competition or what? Or did she just not want to win? At least we got to hear from Memphis about why he was so bad. He hadn't been keeping track of the days in the house. But I really expected more from Renny. And Keesha's voice as the host? It was horrible!

Memphis and Dan were made to look like Big Brother masterminds. They left out showing the others talk with Jerry but we know that those talks didn't really mean anything anyway. Because Jerry had already pretty much made up his mind concerning the nominations of Dan and Keesha. All Memphis did was help seal the deal with a fake final two promise. Like Renny said to Keesha, it would have been smarter for Jerry to have either put up the two girls or the two guys. Now everything hangs on the outcome of the POV competition. And we know how that went don't we? Jerry needs to prepare himself for a backstabbing courtesy of Memphis.

What did you think about the show tonight? How did you like the funny segments they threw in? Did you have a favorite part? And what is your opinion about the way the hamsters were edited tonight?

'Twas All About The Deal

It's no shocker what tonight's episode focused on. It was all about Keesha and her annoying dolphin laugh and Keesha's crazy wigs. Oh I'm just kidding around with you. Of course it was all about (and I mean all about) the deal that Dan and Ollie made in the HOH competition.

It started with Dan talking with his fellow alliance members (Memphis, Keesha, and Renny) about the two parts of the deal so far. Of course, Memphis wasn't happy with being on the block (and who could blame him) but he had no dog in that pony show. Keesha and Renny weren't sure how smart this plan was for Dan to take and and all of them realized that they had to win the POV. But back to smart, even ol' Jerry in the diary room said the deal was terrible and that he'd never trust anybody to live up to it. And then we see Ollie in the diary room gloating about all the power he has. Eat it up big boy because it won't last long!

When it came time to pick players for the POV competition, Dan told us his biggest worry was if Michelle was picked. Because if she won she'd take Jerry off the block and be safe from being chosen as the replacement. And guess what? Michelle was chosen by Jerry because he drew the houseguest's choice button! Jerry trusted that Michelle (if she won) would take him off the block, believed that Ollie would be safe from replacement because of his deal with Dan, which would then cause Dan to have to put up either Keesha or Renny.

The POV competition wasn't all that exciting. I was really expecting more from how they were talking on the feeds after it was over. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there was no leaping in this competition called "One Giant Leap". Why couldn't we have seen big red bouncy balls like on the game show Wipeout? Then we'd have some leaping. But I digress. They were on a stupid zipline going back and forth gathering puzzle pieces. Did we have a zipline competition at the start of the season?

There were three parts of the POV competition. Keesha won the first heat and Memphis won the second heat. Both of them competed against each other to ultimately win the POV. And yes, Memphis won. By the way, I'll have you know I was keeping a close eye on Memphis' 'bulge' tonight. On the feeds after the competition, they were talking about how it was so huge because of the harness they were in. I didn't see it though. Perhaps I blinked one too many times.

So now that Memphis won the POV, Ollie's all nervous and wants to make sure that Dan is going to follow through with his plan. He knows that Memphis will use the POV on himself and told Dan that he wanted Keesha to go up in his place. Thankfully, Dan reassured the viewing audience at home yet again that he wouldn't be going through with the plan and thinks that Ollie is insane for thinking he would. Well duh!

Prior to the POV ceremony, we saw Dan running around the house telling everybody that he's going to ask them during the ceremony who they want him to replace with Memphis with. Like fools, they all eventually went along with it. Ollie needed a little coaxing (he didn't want to say Renny's name) but agreed to it since Dan was going to be putting his neck out like that for him. Renny needed the most massaging when it came to this (as we saw on the feeds) but Big Brother didn't leave us hanging too long as they stiltedly stuck in the clip of her saying the first time that she'd do it.

At the POV ceremony, you could cut the tension with a green plastic knife. After Memphis took himself off the block and Dan stepped up to take over the ceremony, he shot Dan a look as if to say he couldn't believe what was about to happen.

Dan began his spiel with a gambling analogy. Anytime you gamble you take a risk. And in this house if you gamble with someone else's safety, you better know who's making the bet for you. Dan then told Ollie that he'd lost the bet and then immediately told Michelle she was on the block. Could you see the daggers Michelle was shooting out of her eyeballs at Dan? And the look of shock on Ollie's face was awesome. Even Jerry looked mad. Why I have no idea because the geezer should have realized at that moment he was probably safe for another week.

We were treated to another Michelle meltdown in the diary room as the show began its closing. She was rambling on about how she got backdoored for somebody else's deal and how Dan is a bleeper bleeping plant (ficus or ivy I'm not sure) and how she doesn't have STUPID written on her forehead and that if Big Brother doesn't know what the bleep is going on then they have another thing coming. I tell ya, it was a fairly good rant.

Dan told us how he even surprised himself with this move. He'd been playing the passive role in the house but had a big shot in the game and decided to take it. "He lit the fuse to the dynamite and is walking away."

And our dear Ollie. In the diary room (footage of him throwing the lollipop), he gave big ups to Dan. He said if Dan wanted a circus he got a circus because he's done nothing (footage of him knocking over the planter with the light in the backyard) in the game but piss people off. For Dan to disrespect him the way he did. Well, he guaranteed the situation would be rectified before he leaves the house.

The show then blissfully ended. It pains me though that we didn't see more of Ollie's blow-up (no, not April) or more diary room clips from everybody else. No Jerry or Keesha or Memphis or Renny? There won't be much time for more of this little explosion to be shown on Thursday evening because of the Fast Forward unfortunately. That makes me a sad panda. But what perks me right up again is the Fast Forward. Woohoo! I can't wait.

Just in case you think I forgot about it, we did see the whole America's Vote thing tonight. Jerry cried that he got it. Michelle cried that she didn't. Boohoo. And if you want to help take part in the HOH competition on Thursday night, go here to answer some cute questions. The wording is a little strange but I think you'll get the drift.

A reminder about Thursday's show now. Again, pre-season football is interrupting the fun in some of your areas. So check your schedules! It won't be interrupting me so come check me out on Thursday where I'll be live-blogging things as they happen.

So what did you think of the show tonight? How was the editing? Was there too much emphasis on the plan? Should we have seen more of Ollie's temper tantrum? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Spin The Wheel And Make A Deal

Dare I think it? Dare I write it down for the world to see? I myself can't even begin to believe what I'm thinking after the show tonight. Is Dan a Dr. Will? Does Dan deserve the title of The Puppetmaster II?

I'm forever harping on editing concerning the shows and tonight is a great example. Tonight's Big Brother was made to be a showdown between Dan and Ollie. Both of them were edited brilliantly tonight. Dan as the humble teacher who misses his girlfriend yet still swore on her and his family that he'd keep his word to Ollie. Ollie who fought so hard and against all odds to stay another week in the game after losing his girlfriend in an eviction the show prior.

To even any casual Big Brother television viewer, Dan was a man of his word. Ollie was the smug bastard who couldn't stop winking and smiling in the diary room. Ollie, after all, had made a deal with Dan that he'd let Dan win the HOH if Dan would let him pick a nominee, keep himself safe, and then also pick the replacement nominee if the POV was used. Like Ollie said in the diary room, he is basically the HOH except for the official title and the pictures.

All of you know how mad I was at Dan a few days ago. I couldn't believe the stupid deal he made with Ollie and then couldn't believe that he'd actually nominate his closest ally Memphis. Well, don't let me fool you with all of this talk. I still think Dan's decision was stupid and the reason is because there were too many unknowns involved to make that kind of deal at that time. But as we now know, everything worked out perfectly for him and he has come out smelling like a rose. This week will definitely go down in the Big Brother history books as one incredulously perfect week for him.

How about some miscellaneous thoughts concerning tonight's show? Dan's nomination speech concerning vagabonds and renegades was hilarious. Dan's boo-hooing in the HOH reading his letter was even funnier. Michelle trying to throw that water balloon and failing was the bomb. Ollie's smugness was sickeningly funny.

I wonder if Dr. Will was out there watching this show tonight. What do you think he would say about Dan's deal with Ollie? What did you think you about the show tonight and the editing? Does Dan deserve being compared to Dr. Will? And do you think Dan or Ollie go the better edit tonight?

Tell me!

No More Hosting For Michelle

The first thing I came away with regarding the show tonight? Michelle is an absolutely horrible host. To say it sounded like she read everything from a cue card would be too kind. So now we obviously know why the POV competition took so long. It wasn't because the hamsters were so busy counting everything. It was because production had to keep feeding lines to Michelle and waiting for her to say the words one by one by one by one by one by one.

The actual competition itself was kinda interesting in a what in the hell is this all about kinda way. What was up with the vampire theme? Was there a special holiday for all of you bloodsuckers lately that we didn't know about? Jerry absolutely should have won the competition if he hadn't gone all thin-skinned and folded. Actually, it would have been a clean bite sweep. So how stupid was it of Ollie to fold on the fourth question when he was behind 2-1-0? Very stupid.

Can you imagine how different the game would have been if Jerry had won? I wonder if Renny would have put Ollie up in his place. Or would Renny have put up Dan or Memphis or Michelle?

Speaking of Michelle, Big Brother isn't showing the television audience how she's really playing both sides. They're pitting it as a Dan and Memphis versus the house versus April and Ollie. Seriously, why can't the editing be better? Aren't the editors talented enough to translate the real drama to the small screen? I was truly surprised though that they even referred to April offering Dan $5,000 in return for a POV usage.

Renny hasn't received that great of an edit the last couple of shows. They tried to give Jerry a reprieve with his talk to Dan in the storage room but regular viewers don't really understand how upset the house was at Jerry's actions last week. So to the TV viewers, it looks like an innocent apology. But we all know it wasn't real. Jerry kisses the ass of those in power and doesn't mean a word that comes out of his mouth unless it suits him (see his POV speech tonight as an example). Dan knows that though.

The 'Salon Lorenza' segment was cute (was much cuter on the feeds though). Big Brother actually gave more time to the smaller table ordeal than was necessary. Can you say milking?

So what did you think about the show tonight? How did you think the editing was? Did you like the POV competition or did you think it was lame? And pretty please tell me what you thought of Ollie's outfit during the POV ceremony. Sunglasses inside the house and a popped collar on an old school polo shirt? The late 80s asked the late 90s back for that style and got it. For some reason, guys still want to pop it though. Stop!

Oh, and there's no way I would have stuck my hand in that box with the roaches. No way. No how. Roaches skeeve me out more than anything else except for mice and rats. I would have run away like a little pansy girl and forfeited any points, money, or luxury. Ewww!

April In Olliewood

I swear the editors of Big Brother deserve an Emmy. The poor people who only watch the show were probably as confused as all get out that April and Jerry were the ones who were nominated.

First, they were shown how that awful old man named Jerry kept following April and Ollie around and wouldn't let them have any privacy. (BTW, did you catch that eye roll April gave Jerry when he came into the living room?) Poor April even said in the diary room that there's never a moment that it's just her and Ollie without Jerry showing up within three minutes.

Then the viewing audience saw some of the lovey dovey stuff between the cute couple. Kissy kissies and even a proposal of marriage. How cute! You did catch the part though where Ollie asked April if she's ever been in love right? Too bad Big Brother didn't cut to a clip of April talking about her three-month marriage that was annulled followed by a quick clip of her asking Ollie to, um, release his seed on her. Oh but that would have ruined April's good image. And we all know how much April thinks America loves her. Because she's such a nice person. Why she even told us that in one of her diary room clips tonight. Gag.

Sweet April, who is always willing to take one for the team, even excused her vegetarianism to eat a couple of pig ears. Those strong beliefs she's held since the age of thirteen are awe-inspiring. And what about poor Ollie? He's afraid of birds and was practically attacked in the backyard by them. I get that Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds created many a case of ornithophobia but come on. He looked like a little sissy boy jumping up onto the backyard couch and then slinking along the wall to make it back inside. Only if the birds had begun pecking at his eyeballs could he have garnered more sympathy tonight.

In addition to the almost hour-long Ollie and April show, we were treated to bits of Renny's weirdness. What was up with the way she was acting before and during the food competition? I'm sure Big Brother told her to act excited but come on! She looked and sounded like an idiot. And of course, her behavior in the HOH room asking people if they would be willing to be a pawn on the block was astronomically crazy.

Did she really expect any of them to agree to that? And Renny acted honestly surprised when Memphis told her that the pawn usually goes home. Wha? In her defense I guess, she's probably so used to the house doing what the HOH wants (well except for April's reign) that the thought never entered her mind. What a lame excuse she gave to Jerry for his nomination though. She could have at least brought up his behavior in the house rather than just the fact he nominated her the first week.

So what did you think about the show tonight? They're certainly setting up the viewers for a Jerry eviction aren't they?

Spineless Old Man

This post may seem to be a continuation of this post from a couple of days ago but I just can't help myself. I am so sick and tired of these stupid houseguests (hamsters is too good of a term for some of them) continuing to carry on with the HOH's wishes. And if I have to hear Jerry called "The Colonel" one more time I will violently vomit all over my television and computer monitors.

Jerry's bravado during the POV ceremony tonight (of which most definitely was an extremely chopped down version) was absolutely sickening. The editors certainly placed Memphis' rolling eyes in at the right moment though didn't they? I'm telling ya. The producers are setting Jerry up for a fall. I haven't seen a houseguest that deserved it get such a bad edit in awhile. It's obvious they don't care anymore how old he is or his military service 50+ years ago. Executive Producer Allison Grodner is salivating at all of the show possibilities in a Jerry eviction. Unfortunately for her, she'll have to wait at least another week.

What sickens me is that I have to give Jerry one accolade tonight. He was smart enough to realize in the Cry Me A Veto POV competition that if the onions were diced/cut/chopped small enough, then he wouldn't have to spend so much time feeding them into the hole of the bin. And before I forget, I want to give major props to Big Brother for not making them wear goggles. It's nice to see they didn't puss out in fear of somebody complaining that the onions were making them cry.

We already knew that Fourhead won the designer outfits but it still disgusted me to have to watch that skank whore get a prize of any sort. And speaking of The Female Whose Forehead Is Bigger Than The Grand Canyon, what was up with her edit tonight? Yeah, I know she's not up on the block but they didn't show any of her and Keesha fighting. How I would have loved to have seen a clip of when Dan and Renny were sitting in the bathroom talking while overhearing the Barbies fighting in the sauna room.

And of course, they set us all up for a Libra eviction on Thursday. Sometimes Big Brother will leave it up in the air for the viewers or grossly exaggerate what's really going on in the house but they didn't do that tonight. Either way though, they've won. Why is that? Well if Libra is evicted on Thursday then everybody will be happy and want to tune in to see it. If Keesha winds up being evicted, they get their shock factor. Everybody wins this week.

I'm just disappointed we didn't see more of the fighting that went on after the feast. If only the viewers knew how much they actually missed! Why oh why couldn't they have shown any of Michelle's lunatic actions of throwing the pillows from the outside couch and then "hiding" upstairs to ambush Libra and Fourhead later while also throwing more pillows (from the upstairs couch this time)?

But I can't blame them for the lack of fight footage. It took three hours in real time and there's only so much you can put on the show. I did greatly appreciate the others downstairs in the kitchen making ice cream sundaes while talking about things though. I thought that was hirarious (yes, another BBUK reference).

So what did you think about the POV show? Are you as tired as I am of the hamsters always following the HOH's wishes? What part of the post-feast fight do you wish they would have shown? What did you think about everybody's edits?

Tell me!

Former Hamsters Kinda Represent

How great was it to see that fight at the beginning of the show after Jessie had been evicted? We could tell during that live show that the tension was thick as all get out but we sure missed all of the accompanying fighting. Now we'd kinda heard about it on the feeds later but it was nothing compared to what we saw tonight. Even keeping in mind the editing that goes on with the show, it was a fantastic release of emotions.

Jessie did indeed tell Michelle to stick with Memphis and Memphis to stick with Michelle. Dan was instantly blamed for the hinky vote (as we knew he would be). And after Michelle won the HOH competition? Well all kinds of hell broke loose. Jerry, April, and Michelle were all about Dan burning in hell for lying. I know. As if they're perfect angels. Don't know who told them Christians don't lie but they were sadly mistaken. Of course it was more about faith than religion. And I mean faith as in faith to "their crew".

So Dan can't play for himself? Or America? To these ninkampoops in the house who think that religion should rule their morality in a game show I say give it up. I don't know how many times I've had to say this over all these seasons but let's be real. And you know something? It'd be different if it was Jesus in the house playing for half a million dollars but April, Jerry, and Michelle are no Jesus. So they can check their make believe crosses at the door. Or perhaps they can get together and talk about how hot it is in "there" after the show. I can't stand hypocrisy.

The food competition was fun to watch. My favorite girl ever, Jun, was there and I was excited about that. But did anybody tell Mike Boogie that deodorant really isn't that expensive? Couldn't he have borrowed some from Bunky or Janelle or something? I know it was hot but come on. And was I the only one that thought Boogie looked like he had some kind of work done to his face? Not like I'm against it or anything but hey, if you're going to go on a nationally televised program then I can comment on it. So suck it bitches! Gawd, I love that phrase.

Jerry fawning over Janelle was a tad bit unnerving. Even more unnerving was actually hearing Janelle tell him that he was hot. As in attractive. I know she was joking but it still almost made me convulse and vomit. It brought back bad memories from BB6 and BB7. Thank goodness Howie wasn't there. I would have most certainly lost my dinner then.

Anyway, I must admit that if I'd been in the house I would have answered a lot of those news questions wrong. Who would have ever thought Favre would come out of retirement and end up at the Jets? China banning bald and smelly cab drivers for the Olympics? Cheech and Chong reuniting? I definitely would have guessed though that Britney wouldn't be recording a country album. The Paris Hilton news item about George Bush? Well she's a celebrity weirdo so that would have been 50/50.

As far as the nominations go, it was no surprise to any of us who watch the feeds. It was pretty much a given from the moment Michelle won HOH. Even Keesha and Libra knew that. But Big Brother did a good job on the audience tonight. They really milked the Dan possibility for all they could. At least Dan didn't get a bad edit like Jerry and Libra and April did. Memphis came through smelling like roses in case you're keeping up with that sort of thing.

So what did you think about the show tonight? What was your favorite part? Were you surprised at exactly how much fighting went down during Julie's interview with Jessie on the live show and then after the show cut off when Michelle became HOH? And are you salivating as much as I am to see how they spin Tuesday's show?

*evil laugh*

Tuesday Night Fights

Boy howdy! Big Brother didn't skimp on the fight footage tonight did they? They dedicated two entire segments to it even. Now I surely didn't expect that much attention to be given to the fighting that went on between April and Libra and Keesha and Jessie and Renny and I guess that's it. Oh, I almost forgot Jerry. My bad!

How do you think the fighting came across to somebody that just watches the show? I received a call from a friend of mine after tonight's episode (she only watches the show but asks me about what's going on on the feeds) and she thought all three of the girls (April, Libra, and Keesha) were stupid to behave like that. She didn't think it was good at all that they were doing that. Oh little does she know that it was freaking wonderful!

We knew the POV competition involved trading prizes and what have you but it was nice to finally see exactly how it all went down. Did Memphis miss on purpose or was that just a really bad shot? And what was up with April crying about keeping the money? She said she felt selfish keeping it. I guess that's why she jumped so quick at Jerry's offer to take the POV away from Jessie in exchange for a little cashola. And what about poor Michelle? She was so excited about that Hawaiian vacation only to have it snatched away by Libra at the very end in exchange for Jen and Sheila's red leotard.

She certainly let her anger show in the diary room didn't she? I was laughing my ass off at home watching her throw her tantrums to Big Brother! Turning her back to the camera like that? Can you imagine how the person asking her the questions in the diary room must have felt? Oh to be a fly on the wall and listen to them tell their co-workers about Michelle's behavior. I think she rocks the leotard personally.

What did you think about her calling Libra a bad mother who should have her kids taken away from her for not choosing the letter from home? Libra's such a whore slut skank. That's what Michelle called her anyway. And nice to see Jessie consoling Michelle yet again about this new situation she's in.

Which makes voting in the America's Player challenge such a pickle. I'm kinda torn right now between who to vote for. But I'm going to frustratingly put my 10 votes towards Dan to vote out Jessie. Yeah, Jessie provides a lot of entertainment (and Memphis doesn't at all) but I just don't want that skank bitch Fourhead getting her way. If she does, well then she does. But I won't be happy about it!

Now go vote for who you want Dan to vote to evict. You have until 11:59 PM Pacific time TONIGHT to get your votes in and don't forget you can vote 10 TIMES!

What did you think about the show tonight? Did you feel bad for Jessie consoling Dan about his girlfriend when it wasn't even real? Were you surprised they showed so much of the fighting action? What did you think about Michelle's behavior in the diary room concerning her red leotard? And who did you vote for Dan to vote to evict (say that fast three times)? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

It's Nothing Personal

Tonight's nomination show was filled with some fun, some facts, and some falsehoods. First up, the remainder of the HOH endurance competition that began on the live show Thursday.

We all know that it ended with April winning it but we didn't get to see much of the beginning because of all of the interruption by the fishies. Jessie was quite the smack talker up there wasn't he? I have always found that an entertaining approach to endurance challenges because the one talkin' the smack is hardly ever the one who wins it. And it most certainly caught up with Jessie later on didn't it? I was chuckling right along with Jerry tonight when they showed him laughing during Jessie's hard time up on the wall.

What about the blatant misrepresentation of events concerning Jessie's and Renny's fall? Both of them were disqualified during the competition yet it wasn't told to the viewing audience on the show. I'm still a little unsure why Jessie was disqualified (something about the way his arms were placed) but there was no confusion as to why Renny was disqualified. For reference, see here and here. What was the big deal about not showing that tonight? I don't think it would have affected their image in either a positive or negative way so I'm perplexed by that editing decision.

Dan received quite the nice edit tonight didn't he? We saw him in the diary room confessing to throwing the HOH competition. He gave three great motivational speeches to April, Michelle, and Renny while they were up against the wall. Whoever was in charge of the music behind Michelle's and Renny's speeches did a poor job of hiding the fact that they were copying "Eye Of The Tiger." They did do a good job on the music behind April's speech even though it made me gag knowing that she would win.

They were fairly heavy on the Keesha & Memphis story line tonight weren't they? And the Keesha & April story line as well. They're setting us up for what will have to be an entire segment on the plethora of fights that broke out before the POV competition.

The reasons that April gave for nominating Jessie and Memphis were really weak. April's target is supposed to be Memphis yet she nominated him because he won the car? Well, let's go back to the editing thing. Let's hope that she said more than that when she nominated him. Either way, Big Brother is setting her to look like a fool. Especially when Jessie got a pretty damned good edit on the show tonight with all the time they spent showing him doting on Michelle after the HOH competition. By the way, was that done to make America feel guilty for having Dan push to nominate him? Not like it was a real push or anything as those of us who have the feeds and read the spoilers know.

I just hope that on Tuesday's show, besides the fights and POV ceremony, that April's skankiness makes its way into America's living rooms. I'm not saying we need more smut out there but I really don't want that girl getting a good edit in any shape, form, or fashion. Because how they spin the fights between her and Keesha could make April look like the innocent one. And we all know that April is far from innocent!

Lastly, I want to know who in the hell Karen in Ohio is. There must be thousands of women named Karen in Ohio so if you know one and she's a Big Brother fan please point her my way. I'd like to ask her what in the hell she was thinking with that lame ass question. I guess at least it won't hurt Dan's game if he accomplishes this hugging for ten seconds task. And when you think about it, ten seconds is a pretty long time if it's to somebody outside your family or circle of friends. Try it in the morning. Go on up and hug a co-worker for ten seconds and see what their reaction is.

Depending on how well you like or dislike Dan, you could vote many different ways. If you don't want him to cause any suspicion with this task, you could vote for him to hug Renny or Keesha for ten seconds. That wouldn't be too hard for him to do at all. On the other hand, if you want him to squirm a little then vote for him to hug Jessie, Jerry, or even April. That would have some comedic potential. I wonder how many tries he'll get if he doesn't succeed the first time?

So go vote for the hamster you want Dan to hug for at least ten seconds. Don't forget -- you can vote 10 times and you have to do it by 11:59 PM PT TONIGHT! Then come back here and tell me who you voted for and why. Also tell me what you thought about the show and the editing tonight. And can you say water correctly? LOL!

Communication Breakdown

Far and away, the best part about the show last night was the food competition. Didn't the girls look cute in their sock hop outfits? The guys needed a bit of work in that department though. No leather jackets for them?

The communication problems between Renny and Dan were hilarious to watch and I loved the music that Big Brother played for them in the background. It fit them so perfectly. You had Renny on one side screaming her arse off and Dan on the other side saying he couldn't hear anything. I'm not sure if there might be something wrong with his hearing because I'd be willing to bet that everybody in a half-mile radius could have heard Renny that day. And watching the others on the sidelines yell in unison about which sock was needed was hilarious too.

Jessie and Michelle seemed to do really great in the competition as did Angie and Memphis. Poor April and Ollie had their share of problems and so did Jerry and Libra. When you looked at how many total hooks were on that board compared to the number of socks matched up, the house did pretty poorly overall. I'm surprised we haven't heard them complaining on the feeds about who sucked the most.

Other than the food competition, the show was filled with Keesha's over-inflated ego and her promises in the diary room to turn the house upside down. Everybody will be so shocked and they'll never expect it! And then she went and nominated Angie and Jessie for eviction. Revenge in Steven's name? Bull hockey! I don't care how CBS edits the show, those of us watching on the feeds know that Keesha nominated Angie because she's jealous of her.

Yeah, Angie gets along good with the guys (and remember two of those guys are no longer in the house) but what else does Angie do? She helps cook sometimes. That's it. Well, unless you count her constant smoking in the backyard and a personality that reminds me of lawn furniture. Sure Keesha, she's a big threat to you and single-handedly brought Steven down. You just keep on using that excuse to make yourself feel better.

The show also didn't really touch on why Keesha ultimately nominated Jessie. She nominated him because he wouldn't leave her alone and would only talk about her nominating people from her own alliance. While I would have loved to have seen her do that, it would make absolutely no sense for her to actually do it. So the mental genius that Jessie is actually dug his own grave. I can't wait to see how they spin Jessie's behavior after the nominations on Tuesday's show.

Speaking of shows, the hamsters still don't know that the live eviction show is on Thursday. They still believe that things are on schedule for Wednesday. I wonder how they'll react when they find out the change in plans. Everybody will have one more day to listen to Jessie whine and moan about being on the block in jail and how he's wasting away to nothing because he can't eat and he can't sleep -- even though he's been eating and sleeping.

So what did you think about the show last night? More importantly, what did you think about the editing? They really made Keesha out to be much more intelligent than she really is don't you think?

Portuguese Princess From Providence

I had a hard time determining what the title of this post should be. On the one hand, I wanted it call it 'You Better Not' in reference to Renny's comment back at Libra in their argument on the show tonight. I'd actually started writing a post with that title until it came time to listen to Dan during the POV ceremony.

So now you know.

Michelle is the Portuguese princess from Providence? Seriously, I have to barf. I don't know which is worse. Hearing Dan say that to her and everybody else in the house while begging for his BB life or actually typing that phrase.

On behalf of Dan, I'd like to apologize to two sets of peoples. To those of you who happen to be related to any Portuguese royalty in previous generations, please pay no attention to Dan. He knows not what he says. He is yet another example of a stupid American. I have watched this person named Michelle on the live video feeds and I can attest to the fact that she is no princess. She's certainly no princess belonging to blood so prestigious as that of the Portuguese. Again, please forgive Dan for saying such a thing.

And also on behalf of Dan, I'd like to apologize to the people of the glorious state of Rhode Island. I can't imagine the huge burden this person named Michelle has placed, and continues to place, upon your tiny state. For Dan to publicly call her a princess has to have caused even more damage to Little Rhody's name. I am a Texan and I would like to offer our grand state's extended arms to your poofy-haired and vain resident but I don't believe the governor would allow it. Perhaps an arrangement can be made with either the state of North Dakota or Montana?

Really though, it was a great show tonight. Jessie and his stupid muscle shirts and pointy nipples graced my eyes so often tonight I thought I was going to go blind. Michelle should be glad that her little power trip up in the HOH room with Jessie and Steven wasn't shown that much. Those of us watching the feeds at that time know what a little bitch she is. She might still have a few fans left outside of Rhode Island and Portugal but I doubt it.

And how about Libra? The girl was cold busted and she knew it. One thing that most of us have learned in life is that when people protest a little too much, it usually means they're guilty. I was just glad that Renny was there to finish the call-out. Libra must have forgotten in her slop stupor (she'd been on real food for three days when she said what she did) that one of the "old" people was right there when she was saying what she said. Understand that?

I wasn't a fan of Renny's after the first show but I have to tell you, that LSU gal from New Orleans has grown on me like a heat rash. She was once at the bottom of my list but no more. I love watching and listening to her on the feeds and I hope she wins the whole thing this season. I at least want her to last longer than Michelle, Jessie, and Libra.

But back on topic, the Power of Veto competition was a cool one. I can understand how they'd lose their concentration when that blind came rolling down. But it was really interesting watching Keesha, Michelle, and Libra passing time until the slop pass was out of play. I felt bad for Keesha getting the raw end of the deal on that one but I was also happy that she stood her ground. And I hope and pray that she's really not with the Libra/April/Ollie alliance. *crosses fingers*

It does still look as though Steven will be the one leaving the Big Brother house tomorrow night and that's sad. At the same time though, he's really too nice of a guy to play this kind of game. Perhaps Wheel Of Fortune or The Price Is Right would be better suited for him.

And a little treat to those of you who may not have been watching the live feeds earlier this evening -- be sure to set your DVR or Tivo (or even VCR if you still use one of those) to record The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS tonight. Check your programming guide for when it comes on if you're not sure. But let's just say that Julie Chen and twelve of her favorite houseguests will be starring in a segment. Judging by the hamsters' reactions on the live feeds after the segment was filmed it seems that a few of them were put in their place.

So what did you think about the show tonight? Is the Portuguese Princess from Providence your absolute favorite hamster of all time? I honestly can't imagine any of you thinking otherwise.

;)

Honey Under The Bridge

Good job Big Brother! Good job! That was a mighty fine fakeout you pulled off. I must say, I did think it was weird that you zoomed in and out on Jerry's picture on the memory wall so many times so soon after the live feeds came on on Sunday. I guess I know why!

Now what about tonight's show? I really loved it! Let's start with Renny this evening. What a biatch! Her carrying on and on and on and on about how immature Jessie is? It looked to me that Jessie was actually behaving like a grownup during that whole situation. You, Renny, were behaving like a fool carrying on about it. You did, after some of Jerry's fine wine, ultimately manage to put Jessie in his place when you called him out about not apologizing earlier. The way you went about it was low class though.

How did you like this Power of Veto competition? It was hilarious! Jerry, Jessie, Renny, Memphis, Michelle, and April looked like they had a really hard time in that honey. Combine that with all of the feathers in those pillows on the bed and it looked like a slumber party gone really wrong or very right. It was cute how much of a hard time Renny had and how the hamsters not participating even gave her a wave.

I began to get a weird feeling in my stomach though when there wasn't much focus on Jerry. The reason why? Well it's because Jessie was the one that won the POV! Hahaha! The joke's on us! But did you really have to show Jessie "The Body" ripping his shirt off? Ewwww!

What did you think about Brian tonight? Wasn't he quite the cocky one thinking that he could get Memphis put up in Jessie's place. Too bad for him that Ollie was only thinking about April's va-jay-jay and her natural breasteseses. Yeah, Ollie confirmed what Libra had been saying but let's just say that he's not somebody I'd like to have in my alliance. I can't stand flip-floppers so I hope the women give it to him later down the road. And I don't mean by offering up their womanly goods.

But at the same time, Brian was working things too hard and behaving like an arrogant prick. Having so many alliances with so many people this early in the game does not a good hamster make. So it was really grand when the eight ambushed Jerry upstairs and told him everything in the HOH room.

After Jessie took himself off the block in the Power of Veto ceremony, the look on Brian's face when he realized that Jerry's Semper Fi had faded was priceless. Even more priceless though was the look on Dan's face. I think he actually did a little poopie while hearing the news. I could have done without Libra's smugness but she deserved it so I'll give it to her -- this time.

What did you think about tonight's show? Will Brian really be history or might Renny do me a favor and DOR? I guess we'll find out tomorrow eh?

First Show Of BB10!

After watching the first show tonight, I believe this will indeed be a freaking fantastic season! Thirteen people and all strangers? Oh yeah! Bring it on!

I was glad that they didn't spend too much time on everybody getting their Big Brother keys back home. That segment usually drones on but it seemed shorter tonight and I was happy about that. For those of you that wonder about this sort of thing though, April was the first hamster shown to get her key.

The hamsters looked really shocked when Julie told them about the game beginning before they enter the house. Nervous laughter and wondering looks at the others -- it was priceless. I liked how they did the voting. Everybody stepped down to a short wall where they had a notebook with everybody's pictures inside of it. Julie told them to vote for one of their fellow housemates to become the first HOH. But did Julie tell them who won HOH after they finished voting? Of course not! I knew she was going to drag it out for a couple of segments.

Renny, Dan, Angie, Jessie, and April made up the first group to enter the house. Then Libra, Brian, Keesha, and Memphis entered. Finally, Steven, Jerry, Michelle, and Ollie entered. There was no arguing over rooms or beds and everything seemed to go swimmingly. Well, except for Renny's weird comments while everybody was working things out. It seems she rubbed Angie and April the wrong way from the get go.

Everybody then gathered around in the living room and introduced themselves to each other. That's when Jerry (and many others) got to feel up April. Her boobs are real! Her boobs are real! Personally, I could care less. But hey, a woman offering others up a feel will always make an interesting first impression. Renny didn't appreciate April's openness though and thought it was inappropriate. I wonder if Renny was jealous that nobody accused her having fake breasteseses.

The others' introductions were way less dramatic. The big omission I caught was that Steven did not tell the others that he was gay. Libra told them all about her twins being different skin colors and Memphis made sure to tell everybody he was a mixologist. Dude, you're a bartender. Deal with it!

Before they found out who the HOH was, they had a competition! Yay! The competition was called "Buggin' Out" it was a really cool looking comp. They split into two teams of six (Jessie decided he would sit out) and gathered in the backyard. It would be team red against team white. The backyard had two classic cars (a 1966 Mustang and a 1969 Camaro) and somebody would be winning one of the cars. (I want the Camaro!!!) But first, each team had to get all of their team members into a Volkswagen Bug that was hanging upside down.

Each team had to pull their Bug across the ropes it was suspended on. They had to pass to one side of the yard to gather a gas can and then pull the Bug to he other side where one member of the team would be kicked out of the Bug. If you were kicked out though, you wouldn't get the chance at winning one of the classic muscle cars. The final person left in the car on the winning team would got the chance to pick which car they wanted. Also, the winning team would be eating regular food for the week while the losing team would be on slop!

The red team won easily! Memphis was the last person left in the red team's car and chose the Camaro as his prize. Why did he have to be the one that won? It had come down to Memphis and Steven in the Bug and both really wanted the car. But Steven was a big enough man and chose to bow out and let Memphis take it. I think that's going to be a good move for Steven later on in the game.

They were then called back inside to find out who the first HOH would be. Renny came in second place with three votes. With four votes, Jerry was elected the first HOH and a little while later everybody came up to check out his HOH room. Complete with tons of pictures from home and his United States Marine Corps blanket, the HOH room looked very cool! With less than 24 hours before nominations, we were treated to some segments that showed us a little more of the hamsters' personalities in the house.

Renny got on many people's nerves one night because of her screeching voice and weird laughter. Some were trying to sleep but Renny was causing a big fuss about a door being locked. Jessie was especially perturbed by her disregard for her fellow houseguests trying to sleep (meaning him) and confronted her later about it. Basically, he was acting like a little baby and Renny seemed as though she didn't care what he had to say.

We were also shown that Dan, Brian, and Ollie have created their own little alliance with Jerry on the outer fringes. Brian told us in the diary room that they'd pull Jerry along until one of them had to jump ship. Brian seems a little cocky doesn't he?

At the nomination ceremony, Jerry told them all that it's hard for him to try and judge who should stay and who should go. But let's get down to business. Michelle was the first person deemed safe followed by Angie, Memphis, Libra, April, Brian, Steven, Keesha, Ollie, and finally Dan.

You got it! Jessie & Renny are the first two hamsters to be nominated for eviction this season. Jerry told them it was basically due to their "conflict" the night before and decided the house should decide which of the two should go so that their "conflict" doesn't continue. Jessie told us in the diary room that his opinion wound up biting him in the butt while Renny called him a weasel. Brian gloated and told us that the nominations were a victory for him. I'm getting an icky feeling about him!

On Tuesday, we'll find out who won the POV and if it will be used. Personally, I could care less if it's used because I don't have a problem with either Jessie or Renny going home first. I'd probably like to see Jessie go first though if I absolutely had to pick one person. I don't like the big muscle guys in the house and he seems like he'll become a big crybaby in the house.

So what did all of you think about the first show this season? Do you have any favorites now that you've seen them in action? Who gets on your nerves so far? Let me know in the comments!

Be sure to join everybody in chat until the live feeds start and beyond! I'll be in there myself gabbing away while re-watching tonight's show.

Adam Wins Big Brother 9

So what do you think about that? Ol' Baller knocked it out of the park and won Big Brother 9 by a vote of 6-1. I am definitely glad that Adam whooped Ryan's tail in the votes. Adam even plans on sticking to his promise to the jury of giving $100,000 to the United Autism Foundation for an after-school program. It will be really interesting to see what he really does with it though since they've given him the boot due to his comments at the beginning of the season.

The only one that voted for Ryan was Joshuah and I'm not sure if he got that vote because Adam admitted to throwing competitions when Josh asked him about it or because Adam wound up screaming at him during the jury questioning. Regardless, it's obvious Josh still has some issues to work on outside of the house. Bitter much?

Speaking of bitter, Sheila was still in quite a feisty mood when she arrived at the sequester house wasn't she? On and on about Adam screwing her over and throwing her under the bus. She calmed down enough eventually though because her key was for him to win the big money.

Now let's talk about these people's outfits. Chelsia and Natalie both looked ready to wrap their legs around a tall silver pole this evening. Could Chelsia's tube top dress been any shorter? And Natalie really needs to toss that light blue hooker dress. Another fashion don't tonight was Ryan's girl, Jen. Seriously, you should have picked one size larger honey. What to say about James and his pink shirt and purple pants. Are even blue jeans too dressy for you? And what about the Bobsey twins, Adam and Ryan? I wonder how long it took them to pick out their outfits of black shirts and blue jeans.

Julie calling Adam out on his lying to Ryan about telling Natalie he voted for him was hilarious. Even more hilarious was when they showed Josh's fake crying to Adam. Everybody was laughing hysterically at that clip. I thought it was interesting that Jen still holds such hard feelings towards Allison and her comments about Jen not being good enough for Ryan. Jen, you have your man so move on already. How appropriate that Allison said she had no hard feelings towards Jen though. She really made Jen look like quite the loser there.

There was another prize awarded this evening besides Adam winning his $500,000 and Ryan winning his $50,000. America had the opportunity to vote during the live show for who their favorite juror was. The winner of that would receive a cool $25,000. I thought for sure it would have been between Natalie and James but it was Sheila that wound up coming in second place. James came in first! Woohoo! Don't be too bitter now Natalie fans.

The show closed as always with everybody gathered around Julie Chen hugging and shaking hands. I even saw Allison and Jen hug! Sheila and Alex spent quite a long time hugging. I really don't think Sheila wanted to let him go! Now I wish I could be a fly on the wall for the conversations between Sharon and Jacob in the coming days. Will they get back together or won't they?

I can't wait to see pics from the wrap party tonight. Those are always fun and I'll get links to those posted as soon as they start rolling in. I also hope this season's blooper reel gets put out this season like it did last season. There should also be tons of interviews coming out in the following week and I'll get those posted as they come in as well.

So what did you think about tonight's finale? What did you think about the jury questioning? Was it as harsh as Adam and Ryan made it sound? Who were your fashion hits and misses this evening? What are your thoughts on the votes going 6-1 in Adam's favor? Are you glad that Adam won Big Brother 9? Finally, are you ready for Big Brother 10?

Liveblogging - Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

-:45 - Well here we are. The last live show before the finale on Sunday the 27th. Looking back on things, the season actually seems to have flown by. Tonight, we'll find out who the final HOH of Big Brother 9 will be which will, in turn, set our final two. Will it be Adam? Will it be Ryan? And who will they bring with them into the finals? We're going to find out soon. If you like, jump into chat (the link is over there on the right) to follow along with the show this evening. If you don't like chat, you can also refresh this page while the show is on and I'll update you as the events unfold. Buckle your seat belts everybody! It could be a bumpy ride.

:00 - Previously on Big Brother....

:03 - Hey there Julie! Pretty in yellow! It's day 77 and we're down to the final 3. With the finale right around the corner, deals and promises are changing by the minute. Moments before last night's show began, Ryan and Adam struck a deal that sent Sharon out the door. Tonight is all about these three as they fight it out in a three part battle in the final HOH. Then, that person will cast the final eviction vote live. But first, the houseguests found themselves up a creek without a paddle.

:04 - Back to the start of part 1 of the HOH competition "Up A Creek". The competition starts now. Sheila in DR says this part is really important because the person that wins this advances to the third round. She says the water was like ice water and felt like there were cubes in it. She's up there freezing cold and battling one of her biggest fears - she was in Hawaii and almost drownded in a hurricane. She's afraid of the water. She says she had to face her fear because she was playing for half a million dollars.

:05 - 22 minutes in, Adam asks BB to raise the platform up a little more steeper. Sheila tells him to stop it. Sheila's teeth are chattering and Adam laughing. Footage of Adam standing and voting to evict Sharon. Sheila in DR says she was blown away that Adam decided to keep her and was prepared to walk out the door. This is the guy she got set up on the first day of the house and hated him but he's become like her best friend. It blows her mind they're still there. Ryan in DR says that Adam is doing his dirty work for him and no blood on his hands. Adam in DR says this solidified the bond between him and Sheila so that if Sheila wins round 2 she'll take him with her to the finals.

:07 - Everybody hugging after Sharon gone. Ryan in DR says that Adam came to him before the eviction with a different plan. Footage of Adam in bedroom. Adam in DR says what is he thinking about voting Sheila out because Sheila doesn't have as good a chance as Sharon. He'd rather talk to Ryan right now and tell him this was best for both of them when he knew in reality it would be best for him. Adam/Ryan talking. Ryan says they should stick with the plan. Adam tells Ryan that they both could beat Sheila. Adam tells Ryan that he'd take him to final two because Sheila ain't going to win it. Ryan in DR says he believed Adam is being truthful to him. It's easier to make final two by getting rid of Sharon over Sheila.

:09 - Sheila in DR can't believe it's just her and Ryan and Adam. Sheila crying after they kept her at the kitchen table. Sheila in DR says she never would have dreamt this in a million years. She wants to make it to the end with Adam. She wants it to be her and Adam.

:10 - Back to the HOH competition. Ryan in DR says it's basically them two guys against Sheila and that Sheila has no chance. Sheila in DR says the water in front of her reminded her of the water in Hawaii. Adam and Ryan saying they're good in the competition. Ryan in DR says their plan on going into the competition was to psych Sheila out. Sheila in DR said the guys were taunting her and she was staying focused by concentrating on her son.

:11 - Sheila saying she feels like she has hypothermia. The guys are being loud and boisterous. Sheila drops after 36 minutes. Sheila in DR says her whole body was freezing so she decided to fall so she wouldn't be sick and could play in the next competition. Adam told Ryan, "Told you she would fall."

:12 - Adam and Ryan talking about Adam dropping. Ryan says he's got him and Adam drops. Then Ryan drops. Ryan in DR says that everything is going to plan and that Adam let go to prove that he would be true to Ryan. Adam in DR says that Sheila thinks he's with her and Ryan thinks he's with them. He doesn't really care as long as one of them takes him to the final two.

:13 - Julie tells us Sheila and Adam battle it out in round two coming up. Then the final round. Stay with us. Commercial.

:16 - Julie welcomes us back. Tells us that Ryan won first round automatically advancing to round three. Now Adam and Sheila are forced to compete against each other.

:17 - Adam in DR says he wants to win this competition. Ryan tells them they will play this part of the comp separately. Go wait in your rooms and BB will call you back one at a time.

:17 - Adam in BY. What we have here is a human guinea pig wheel. Attached to the wheel is a giant maze. Inside the maze is 10 balls. Each ball has the name of a former HOH on it and is held in place by a pin. Your objective is to pull the pin and get these HOH balls out of the maze one at a time. Once a ball is out of the maze, place it in the correct order they held the prestigious position. The first houseguest to get all the balls out and place them in the correct position will win the second round.

:18 - Adam in DR says it was a difficult balancing act because you had to get the wheel to go round to maneuver the correct ball out. It looks like a fairly easy physical competition but quite a mental one. He got Alex/Amanda first.

:19 - Sheila on guinea pig wheel. She knew Alex/Amanda were first but it was harder to get them out that she thought it would be. She wants to prove to people that she can win something in this game.

:20 - Now footage of both of them (filmed separately). Sheila says she began feeling sick to her stomach because she hates roller coaster rides. Footage of her almost falling down. Footage of Adam getting his fifth set. Sheila's on her seventh. Adam gets all 10 of his. Sheila gets all of her 10.

:21 - Ryan tells them that the houseguest with the fastest time will face him in the final round. It took Sheila 33 minutes and 26 seconds. Adam took 14 minutes and 55 seconds. Adam will be moving on the third and final round to face Ryan. Adam in DR says there's only one more comp left and he's on top of the world.

:21 - Inside the kitchen, Sheila tells Adam he kicked her butt. Her life is in his hands now. She knows he's going to win. He's going to kick his ass and take some names. Adam tells her he's going to do the best he can. Sheila tells him he has to win. Sheila asks if he really wants to take her to the end and Adam says why wouldn't he? Ryan comes out. Things get quiet. Ryan smiling and asks Adam if they did it and says them two to the final two. Adam tells him he had the master plan. Ryan told Adam he proved his loyalty to him. Adam said he'll be winning the $500,000 now. Ryan in DR shocked that Adam said that and said that Adam doesn't have it wrapped up. He thinks he has a chance against Sheila. Sheila in DR says she has to trust Adam to take her to the end. Adam in the DR says he doesn't know what he's doing.

:23 - To the living room. Julie congratulates Adam and Ryan on winning the first parts of the competition. Julie asks Sheila how it's made her feel to be at the mercy of the two guys. Sheila says it's a scary place to be sitting, she's nervous, feels helpless, and hopes somebody wants to take her to the end. Sheila says that Adam is starting to look really good to her right now. Julie asks the three about how they're thinking the jury will vote. Asks them how confident the jury will vote for them to win on a scale of 1 to 10. Ryan says a 3 because of a girlfriend and winning a luxury. Sheila feels uncomfortable after some fights in the house and hopes it's a 4. Adam says he'll take a 5 to lowball them. Julie tells Ryan/Adam in just a few moments they'll face off against each other.

:25 - Who will be the final HOH? Find out when we return. Commercial.

:30 - Julie welcomes us back. Let's see what's been happening at the jury house now that Natalie has been reunited with Matt and Sharon has arrived. Matt/Josh joking around. Natalie cooking in kitchen. Natalie says her and Matt don't spend much time in the house at all. When she walks in a room Matt gets up and leaves. Natalie says her feelings for Matty go down the tubes as soon as he's mean. She doesn't really know what she feels for him. Natalie tells Josh she can't wait to get out of there and be around people who like him. She's carrying on about Matt being hateful to her. Josh tells Matt he's being mean to Natalie and Matt/Natalie begin arguing. Natalie asks to be treated like everybody else in the house.

:32 - Limo pulls up. Sharon comes inside. Josh excited. Sharon runs and hugs Josh. Natalie said she didn't expect her. Josh said he's sad that Sharon didn't make it because she deserved to win it. Matt says that Team Matty is victorious! It's time to watch the DVD.

:33 - Footage of Ryan nominating Sheila/Sharon for eviction and Adam not using the POV on Sharon and her being evicted. Chelsia told them to rewind the video and they did and caught Adam and Ryan making a face at each other. Matt says it was a great move. Sharon said maybe Ryan was threatened by her. His biggest mistake in the game was to turn on her.

:34 - Julie tells us that round three of the HOH competition is coming up live. Stay with us. Commercial.

:37 - Julie welcomes us back. The winner of this final round and becomes the HOH and evicts someone on the spot. Back to the living room and they're divided by a partition. Time to see how well they got to know the jury members. Sheila sitting in kitchen listening but can't see. Will read beginnings of statements made by six members at the jury house. For each, she will give them two choices of possible endings. The answer will be A or B. For every correct answer you get a point. The houseguest with the most points at the end of six questions wins.

:38 - Q1 - Matt said "the houseguest I wish I were nicer to" was A Natalie or B James. Both pick A. Matt said Natalie. Both correct.

:39 - Q2 - Chelsia said "the moment I'm most expecting to read about in my hometown paper" is A that I gave up half a million dollars for a showmance or B that I told everyone off on my way out the door. Both choose B. Chelsia says it was the first answer. Both wrong.

:40 - Q3 - Joshua said "the person who most deserves to win this game" is A myself or B Sharon. Ryan chooses A and Adam chooses B. Josh says it's himself. Ryan right.

:41 - Q4 - James said, "I think what will happen with me and Chelsia" is A they will bike around the world together or B their relationship will inevitably sink. Both chose B. James said it would sink. Both correct.

:42 - Q5 - Natalie said "the best showmance this season was" A me and Matty or B James and Chelsia. Both chose A. Natalie said she thought James and Chelsia. Both wrong. Ryan in the lead 3-2.

:43 - Q6 - Sharon said "the biggest lie I told in the house" was A that my back caused me to fall in the HOH glass house comp or B I never told a lie in the BB house. Both chose B. Sharon said her biggest lie was her back. Both wrong. Ryan wins with 3 points against Adam's 2 points. Ryan is the final HOH.

:44 - Julie tells us Ryan is about to evict Adam or Sheila live. Who will it be? Stay with us. Commercial.

:46 - Julie welcomes us back and tells us that Ryan must now choose who to evict between Adam or Sheila.

:46 - Adam gets a chance to plead his case. Adam says bros to the end, he's worked hard the entire game, and hopes he does the right thing. Sheila (crying) tells Ryan that he's carried her this far in the game and trusted her, has followed through on everything she said she would do, if she goes to the final two it will change her life, if he picks her she will be grateful and so happy.

:47 - It's time for Ryan to cast his vote. He tells them they're both deserving for different reasons. Ryan says Sheila earned her way into the final three. Says he's been boys with Adam and is more deserving as far as gameplay. Ryan evicts Sheila. Sheila upset. Adam smiling. Both hug Sheila at the same time. Sheila crying and walks out without saying anything. Sheila out of the house really upset.

:48 - Sheila meets Julie. Adam tells Ryan in the kitchen that she was playing them the whole time and now it's party time. Ryan said he's going by gameplay. They slap hands and yell, "Party time!"

:49 - Julie tells Sheila she looks devastated. Sheila says she is because she thought Adam would win this and take her to the end. What went on between her and Adam was acting. She thinks she played a really good game. Julie tells her she's walking out with no money but did she walk out with any lessons. Sheila said this was the toughest thing she ever did in her life leaving her son for three months (she's crying again) and there were some horrible times in the house. She tried to better their lives and the fact that this didn't happen has really devastated her. Julie tells her she should be proud to make it this far with all of the young people. Sheila says she feels like being in the final three was a blessing but feels she disappointed his son, his birthday is on Friday, she wanted to win this to better their lives and right now can't even comprehend what's happening and is shocked. Julie asks her if she would have done anything differently. Sheila says she conquered a fear in that final HOH competition and there were alot of things in the comps that frightened her and she went in with the attitude that she had to overcome it.

:52 - Time for goodbye messages from the boys. Ryan calls her the mother of the house and has respect for her toughing it out and will miss her. Adam says he misses her already. Talk about irony of them being paired together. He says he's sorry if he made the wrong decision and will do good things with the money. He says he'll see her soon. Sheila smiles at that. Julie asks Sheila if she'll have a relationship with Adam outside the house and Sheila said she will.

:53 - Julie tells us that coming up, we'll talk to the final two. Commercial.

:56 - Julie welcomes us back. After 77 days, it's come down to Ryan and Adam. Let's go back to the living room. She congratulates both of them. She says it looks like it's the ultimate bro-mance. They confirm it. They say they're best friends for life. Julie tells them they did a fine job making it to the end and we'll see them Sunday.

:56 - Julie tells us to tune in on Sunday at 8:00 PM ET for the season finale. The jury of seven will reunite with the first six evictees who have been watching at home everything that's been going on in the BB house. Then, the jury will crown the winner of Big Brother live. She reminds us to tune in to Big Brother After Dark and reminds us about the feeds.

:58 - Eavesdropping on Ryan/Adam. Ryan says no campaigning or nothing. Adam's fixing the living room furniture and Ryan's removing his shirt. Show's over.

And that's that!

Up A Creek

You know what sucked about this show? The fact that it would have been even better if we had been able to watch the live feeds of the first part of the HOH competition. I know some of you may be getting tired of myself and others continuing to carry on about it but I can't help it. That's all I could think about during the "live" show tonight.

The show began with Julie welcoming us just as she normally would for any other live show -- except that it wasn't live. We picked up after Ryan's nomination of Sheila and Sharon. Sharon just laughed about being nominated in the diary room while Sheila went off to sulk and cry in her bed. Sharon joined her and told her that if she were to win POV that she would pull her off the block. She didn't do a good job of lying but Sheila played along by saying that it was them girls against the guys at this point.

Of course, we then saw Sharon telling Ryan that they have to get Adam out followed by Adam and Sheila telling each other that they have the other one's back. This was all after Ryan telling Adam that he wants Sheila out next and Adam promised he'd send her packing. Sharon never did let up on Ryan though and we were shown several times this evening during the show that she was seriously pushing hard for Ryan to send Adam packing if Ryan won the POV this week. This is part of what I enjoy about the shows at the end of each season. There is so much more time for production to show us more of the game talk going on in the house.

The Power of Veto competition was an interesting one and it was actually hard for me to stop laughing throughout the thing. A section of the backyard was quartered up so that Ryan, Adam, Sheila, and Sharon couldn't see what the others were doing. Each of them had five horses with headless jockeys riding them on a wall and they had to put the face of the Big Brother jury member on the jockey's body as well as hanging up two clues that pertained to that juror. They could only work on one racehorse at a time and must work in the order that the jury members were evicted. I found it hilarious that they had to keep jumping over this wall made up of bales of hay between the clues and the wall with the jockeys and racehorses on them. Of course, the funniest was what the jockeys looked like with Matt, Chelsia, Josh, James, and Natalie's faces on them. Hilarious!

I'm not sure if it was the editing or if it was real but it seemed like Adam wasn't doing that bad of a job in the competition. Regardless, Ryan wound up winning and told us all in the diary room that he now controls everybody's fate in the house at this point and that they have to kiss his butt. He's playing his self-proclaimed power whore role quite nicely if I do say so myself.

Since Ryan won the POV it was time for more strategy talk in the house. Ryan told Adam that he trusted him and Adam promised to get rid of Sheila if that's what he wanted him to do. Adam told Sharon that he knew she'd keep Ryan around if she won the final HOH and boldly offered to keep her this week if she'd promise to take him to the final two. Sharon refused the handshake on that. Sharon ran and told Ryan what had happened and then Ryan confronted Adam about it a little bit later. Sheila told Adam that she has his back in the game and needs the money.

When Julie checked in with the houseguests in the living room before the Power of Veto ceremony, she asked Ryan if he was worried about holding all of this power for so long. Ryan, in his humble nature, said absolutely not and that it was good for him. Julie told Sharon that she was the first houseguest in Big Brother history to be nominated five times in a row and Sharon said she'd been able to evade eviction so many times thanks to the faither of her fellow houseguests and the grace of God. Julie asked Sheila and Adam about their being shackled together and they gave her their typical 'I hate him, I like messing with her' responses.

The POV meeting and subsequent eviction was fairly straightforward. Ryan told them that the best thing about winning the POV as the HOH is that nobody can change your nominations. He wasn't going to be changing them so it was then Adam's time to evict either Sharon or Sheila. After a boring and predictable speech from Sharon and a sweet speech from Sheila, Adam told Sharon that she was evicted. Sharon didn't really seem too shocked to me. Sheila was the one that was shocked. Sheila began to cry immediately and didn't stop until before the HOH competition. Seriously, Sheila was bawling. She couldn't believe that Adam had kept her over Sharon. I think she'd really come to terms with being evicted and was shocked when it didn't happen.

Sharon's talk with Julie was rather ho-hum up until Julie asked her about Jacob. Sharon actually said that if her and Jacob could make it work she'd like to try. I was kinda shocked but Julie was especially shocked. I wonder what Jacob thought when he watched that tonight. I would love to have been a fly on the wall at that moment. Everybody's goodbye videos were very nice but of course they would be. They were playing to a jury member now.

And finally, we saw the beginning of the HOH competition called "Up A Creek." I'm still bitter about not being able to watch any of this on the feeds but basically, they were on boogie boards with running water underneath on a tilted platform. And then, it began to rain. Now that's a shocker. This was an HOH competition that clearly favored hamsters with upper body strength -- no question about that.

Tomorrow evening, at 8:00 PM ET live (fur-real this time), the final HOH will be crowned and will cast the sole vote in the final eviction of the season thereby choosing who to sit with them in the final two.

So what did you think about the show tonight? My favorite parts of the show was when Sheila and Adam were shackled together. It was cool to hear the diary room voice on the show. That certainly doesn't happen very often!

The Ties That Bind

What a surprisingly great show this evening! It was put together very well and didn't seem to drag on in many spots for too long unlike some previous shows.

I absolutely loved the coverage they gave to Adam's mouthing to Natalie that he had voted for her to stay. It was even better watching how upset Ryan got at all of that. Now I can't say that I don't blame Ryan for being upset, because I sure would have been if I had been in his spot, but it was fun watching Adam scramble in his excuses to Ryan. First Adam said it was an accident and then he said that he had told Natalie something else. Ryan confronted Adam about it several times but Ryan eventually let it go saying that he believed Adam. In the diary room though, we found out that Ryan definitely did not believe him. I think Ryan will use this against Adam at some point but I'm not sure when. Perhaps when they have the Power of Veto ceremony tomorrow?

I also enjoyed all of the quibbling they showed of them trying to determine who among them still has a pre-existing relationship in the house. Like most of you, I remember them going on and on about it on the feeds and just couldn't believe that none of them ever even thought about the guinea pigs. Sharon most of all! I was glad that Big Brother brought the guinea pigs back for an encore diary room session. "Hee hee. It's us, we're sisters." How hilarious was that! OK, I know some of you didn't find the whole guinea pig relationship question very funny but I did and still do. They're going to bang their head against a wall when they get out and find out what the answer to that question was.

After watching Ryan get his HOH room and read his sweet letter from Jen, we watched Robot Adam get on Sheila's nerves in the backyard. Then later, Sheila asked Adam to have her back and Adam said he would. Of course, this is all while telling Ryan that if he won POV he would vote to evict Sheila. But hey, Adam's not the only one playing two sides. Ryan has his secret parter in crime, Sharon, in his ear telling him that he should be putting Adam up on the block to get him out.

The only lame part of the show tonight was the luxury competition. That segment went on a little bit too long and the only thing that made up for it was watching them break bottles over each others' heads. See, all of them had to wear these wigs (that had been glued onto helmets) and smash bottles over their partner's head to find a dice ring inside. The teams (Ryan/Sharon and Adam/Sheila) had to place these dice rings on a nine-square board and then when the board was filled a giant wheel was spun. When the wheel stopped, whichever team had the picture on the board that was the same as what the wheel landed on won a special screening of the movie "What Happens In Vegas" in the backyard that evening. In addition to that, they would win a trip to the red carpet premiere of the movie in Las Vegas on May 1st that included luxury hotel accommodations, a Beverly Hills shopping spree, spa treatment, a limo ride to the event, and then get to meet the cast at the after party. The losing couple? They'd have to be shackled to each other for 24 hours.

Ryan and Sharon racked up their rings 6 to 3 on the board and when the wheel was spun, of course it landed on one of their rings. They won the movie and everything else that came along with it while Adam and Sheila won a chain that would bind them. The setup in the backyard was a really nice one and Ryan and Sharon seemed to have enjoyed the movie.

At the nomination ceremony, Ryan stayed true to Adam and put Sharon and Sheila up on the block. He said his reason was because him and Adam had been through so much the week before and Adam had been there for him so he wanted that to continue into this week. Ryan did tell all three of them though that their safety in the house depended on their performance in the Power of Veto game.

I loved how the show ended with Sheila telling us in the diary room that it was bad enough to be nominated and put on the block but then on top of it to be shackled to Adam for 24 hours? The camera then panned back and we saw Adam sitting right there next to her heckling her while being joined at the wrists by leather straps. It was pretty funny if you ask me.

So what did you think about the show this evening? They finally broke out the mini table and Ryan's reaction to that was sort of strange I thought. What did you think about the encore diary room by the guinea pigs? Might we see them in another session this season? I sure hope so!

ETA at 8:04 PM - The live feeds just came back from trivia and it seems as though Big Brother has told them about the guinea pigs being sisters. Drats!

Liveblogging - Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

-:60 - Just eleven days left this season! Who's going to win this extremely important Head of Household competition tonight and guarantee themself a spot in the final three? Grab a nice cold beverage, settle the children down, and jump into chat (the link is over there on the right) to follow along with the show this evening. If you don't like chat, you can also refresh this page while the show is on and I'll update you as the events unfold. I can't wait to find out who will really be leaving tonight! Will it be Natalie or Sharon? We're going to find out soon!

:00 - Previously on Big Brother....

:03 - Good evening Julie! What's up with that flower on your shirt? It's Day 70. Has the bikini barista barista overplayed her hand? She began to play everyone against each other including her own allies. Now her own allies are out to get her and she has no idea. After being nominated five times, will Sharon survive again? The live vote is coming up next. But first, the men are in control of the vote but are they in control of the house?

:04 - Footage of Adam using the POV on himself at the Power of Veto ceremony and Sheila replacing him with Natalie. Meeting is adjourned. Sharon says being on the block against Natalie will probably be the best time ever. She has no idea how much they want her out. Natalie feels safe this week and says that Sharon will go home. Sheila says that Natalie needs to go home and it'll be a shocker to her when she's backdoored.

:04 - Adam/Natalie talking in the bedroom. Natalie tells him and now Ryan that they have to keep her and asks them if she's ever lied to them. Ryan in DR says that Natalie is playing all sides and you never know what to believe. The girls are all out at the pool now and Ryan and Adam are talking in the couch room. Ryan says that they need to bring everything out in the open and want to call a house meeting.

:05 - Natalie talking to the boys and tells them they'd better keep her or she'll sock them both in the eyeball. Adam asks why she's questioning them and asks why she's so worried all of a sudden. Ryan tells her that they're having a house meeting in about an hour. Natalie thinks they're messing with her. Natalie in DR wonders what in the world they would want to talk about.

:07 - Natalie telling Sheila about this house meeting. Natalie doesn't feel good about this and thinks she might be going home. Sheila in DR wonders what the boys are doing.

:08 - The boys call a meeting and ask Natalie to come to the kitchen table but Natalie says no because she's dying her hair. Sheila and Sharon are sitting down. Natalie says she can't come because the dye is already mixed. Adam says we'll have the meeting in the bathroom. Adam has the Bible with him and tells Natalie this is for her. Ryan says this will be good for her because she can defend herself.

:08 - Ryan calls Natalie out on telling the boys and the girls both that they'll be final three. Natalie begins dying her hair and Sheila is freaking out over what Ryan said about the boys alliance. Ryan wants to know if Natalie is playing everybody in the house and wants to know where she really stands. Natalie says her true loyalty stays with the two boys. Sheila asks if she's up on the block then Natalie would evict and Natalie says she would evict Sheila at that point. Natalie tells the boys that she's told them everything. Ryan says that Natalie has thrown them under the bus by making this girl alliance. Natalie says that she's heard about them saying things about her too. Natalie says she's heard things from Sharon but not from Sheila. Natalie says if you want to send me home then send me home. Adam says he wants an apology out of this and Natalie says she's sorry. Natalie upset at Adam and tells him that she wouldn't have voted him out. Sheila is not happy about all of what Natalie is saying. Ryan tells everybody that what's just happened has ended all of the double talk. Sheila says it does end it. Adam adjourns the meeting. Sheila in DR can't believe that they did this. They ruined her whole plan and doesn't know who they're voting for. Sheila frustrated.

:12 - Adam tells Ryan in bedroom that things are OK. Ryan says that now Natalie can't play all of the sides though. She's either with them or she's going home. They go to talk to Natalie in the bathroom who is still dying her hair. Adam tells her they did what was best for her. Ryan says they feel like Natalie is playing way too hard and Natalie says she's never lied to them. She says she's lied to the girls but never to them. If she has to lie to help the boys then she'll do it. Ryan said he just doesn't know what to do. Natalie begins crying and telling the boys that her loyalty stands with them and has never stood with the girls. Ryan says this is what they wanted to hear. Natalie apologizes for playing too hard and she'll learn from this. They can trust her and it doesn't matter what the girls think. End of discussion. Both of the boys hug her and she apologizes to them again. Adam says it's understandable. Natalie still crying and says her intention was never to throw the boys under the bus.

:14 - Natalie in kitchen cooking. Natalie asks Sharon why she threw her under the bus and is always talking smack about her to the boys. The boys are in the kitchen listening to all of this. Sharon tells her that Natalie did create the girl alliance and Natalie says she never did that. Natalie says Sharon is lying about everything and her loyalty stands with the boys. Sharon tells her good.

:15 - Sheila/Adam/Ryan up in HOH room. Sheila asks them who they are keeping. Sheila asks Adam if he has any kiwis or a spine. Adam says they can toss Natalie out next week. Sheila says no and asks if they really believed what she said in the bathroom. Ryan says Sharon hasn't done anything for them and Natalie has been protecting them. Adam/Sheila start yelling and Adam calls Sheila a bitch. Sheila tells them to leave.

:17 - Julie tells us that coming up, James had some surprising words for his girlfriend Chelsia once being reunited with her in the jury house. And coming up, the live vote. Who will be evicted? Natalie or Sharon? Commercial.

:20 - Julie welcomes us back. Time to head to the living room to chat. Julie says they all brought everything out into the open this week so let's talk about it. Julie asks Natalie about the bathroom meeting and then tells Sheila and Sharon that this affected them too but they barely said a word in the moment and wants to know why. Sharon said she felt it wasn't her battle and wanted them to get out what they wanted to say. Sheila says she was upset about the whole conversation because she felt like she was thrown under the bus by Natalie by saying she would put Sheila up on the block. Sheila says she didn't say anything right then because it wasn't the right time. Julie asks Ryan what they were trying to accomplish. Ryan said they were sick and tired of hearing what Sheila and Sharon were saying about what Natalie was saying so they just wanted everything out on the table. Ryan said they did accomplish what they wanted for the most part - they stopped the backtalk between the groups. Julie asks them if each of them were in the final two right now, would you rather be sitting next to someone deserving or easy to beat? Adam says deserving. Adam calls Julie Sheila and then says he could beat anybody. Natalie says most deserving. Sharon agrees with Baller and Natalie. Ryan then agrees as well. Sheila says she has to go with the group and say most deserving.

:24 - At the jury house, when Matt blew out the candles on his cake he had only one wish and it came true. Chelsia says she still has feelings for James and misses him. Josh still pissed off at getting evicted by Natalie. Matt says he's getting stir crazy by being stuck with people he wasn't friends with in the house to begin with. All on couch now waiting for the next person to walk through the door. James walks in and Chelsia goes to hug him. Matt says payback is a bitch. They all toast to being evicted in the kitchen. Time to watch the DVD.

:25 - All watching Adam win HOH and then James being safe. Chelsia shocked and Matt says that at least Adam gave him a chance to play in the veto competition. James losing POV competition and then James being evicted. Matt says so you got backdoored just like I did. (LOL) James says he realized how badly it effects people when you leave the house on a bad note. Matt/Josh left on a good note but then looked at Chelsia. James says the reason why they wanted him out was because of the way that Chelsia left. Footage of Chelsia leaving. James says he was evicted because he was the residue of Chelsia. He's upset about it. Chelsia gets up and walks away. She's crying and says it sucks that the only person that she cared about was evicted because of her. James goes to her and asks if she's all right. He hugs her and she says it sucks. James says he was a homeless kid with no money and he's OK leaving the same and also falling for a girl. They hug and kiss. James says their connection together is larger than the game.

:28 - Julie tells us that coming up is the live vote. Let's hear what Ryan and Adam have to say about the nominees. Ryan is thinking about leaving Natalie in the house because she's swore her loyalty to him and Adam but she's also a strong player and doesn't think anybody can beat her in the physical competitions. Adam says Sharon is not that great at competitions and will be an easier target down the road. Why get rid of Sharon? Because she already has three votes in the jury house and has a better chance of winning than anybody else right now. Commercial.

:32 - Julie welcomes us back and tells us we're moments away from the live vote and eviction. Who will be leaving tonight? Natalie or Sharon? They now have one last chance to plead their case. Sharon tells everybody thanks for keeping her this long and if this is her time to go it's her time to go. Natalie thanks Big Brother for this experience of a lifetime. She apologizes to the boys and asks them to please please keep her so she can continue to play with them and see the mini table.

:34 - It's time for the live vote. Julie tells them if there is a tie, Sheila will cast the deciding vote. Ryan is up first. Ryan votes to evict Natalie. Adam votes to evict Sharon.

:35 - Julie tells us we have a tie. Sheila will break the tie. We'll find out her decision when we return. Commercial.

:39 - Julie welcomes us back again. Time to reveal the results to the houseguests. Julie tells them there is a tie. Sheila, as the current HOH, you must cast the deciding vote. Sheila stands and faces the nominees. Sheila says that Natalie just told all of America and everyone in this house where her loyalty lies meaning that she stays this week and she would evict her and can't risk this in her game. I'm sorry Natalie, I'm evicting you. Natalie begins crying and hugs Sharon. Natalie hugs the boys. Sheila tells her she's sorry and hugs her. Adam hugs Natalie one last time and Natalie walks out the door. She's really crying hard. Adam says this was fair.

:41 - Natalie meets Julie. Back in the house, Sheila says Natalie made her job easier but she didn't want to be in this position this week. Sheila hugs the boys and tells them she couldn't risk it. She stood up and even said it again and couldn't risk it.

:42 - Julie asks Natalie what happened. Natalie says she doesn't know. She was going to be loyal to the boys and they let it go to a tie. She's in shock. She was playing both sides and it's probably what cost her the game. Natalie says she's upset at both the boys right now because they both told her they would be staying in the house. Julie asks her about how she started playing both sides after Matt was evicted. Natalie says she wanted to protect herself and the boys. She wanted to be final three with the boys. Time for goodbye messages. Sharon says that many times people heard different things from you and didn't know what to believe. Ryan says he's sorry it ended up like this and that he wanted to keep her. She's been very loyal to him and good luck in the jury house. Adam says he loves her and this is just a game move and if it came to the final three he doesn't feel like Natalie would have picked him to continue. Sheila says there were good and bad times with her and she's sorry she had to pick her to go on the block. Sheila crying and says that she has an amazing heart and to say hello to Matty for her. Julie tells her we'll see her back on finale night.

:44 - Coming up is the HOH competition. Who will be the new Head of Household? Don't go away. Commercial.

:48 - Julie welcomes us back for the HOH competition. Houseguests, the power is up for grabs. They're all standing on a circular platform divided into three parts away from each other.. Tonight's competition is called 'Fact or Fiction'. Sheila is not eligible to compete. Will read a series of statements about your BB housemates and the BB house. You will decide if the statement is fact or fiction. Step forward for Fact and back for Fiction. One point for each correct answer. The person with the most points after 7 questions will be the new HOH.

:49 -Q1 - When America voted on which houseguest would be in the mystery box, Allison received the fewest votes. Answer is Fiction. Jacob received the fewest votes. Adam wrong.

:50 - Q2 - The toy in the guinea pig habitat still holds a valuable house secret. Correct answer is Fiction. The toy is just a toy. Everybody wrong.

:50 - Q3 - Chelsia was escorted out of the jury house by security. Correct answer is Fiction. Shar was the only one to get it right and in lead with 2 points.

:51 - Q4 - The number 8 has a secret meaning in the Big Brother game. Correct answer is Fiction. Adam was wrong. Sharon with 3 points and Ryan with 2.

:51 - Q5 - Amanda faked an illness, including fainting, to win over the houseguests. Correct answer is Fiction. Everybody right and gets a point.

:52 - Q6 - James and Chelsia have stopped speaking to each other at the jury house. Correct answer is Fiction. All right. Sharon still in the lead with 5 points.

:53 - Q7 - Final question. Everybody knows that Jacob/Sharon and Ryan/Jen were two pre-existing relationships in the Big Brother house but there is a third pre-existing relationship still in the house. Correct answer is Fiction. Ryan chose Fact and the others chose Fiction. Correct answer is Fact. The TV screen popped up that the guinea pigs had the pre-existing relationship but Julie did not tell them this. Julie tells them we have a tie between Ryan and Sharon.

:54 - They have to pick up their boards. The answer is a number. The person who comes closest to the correct number without going over will be the new HOH. If you both go over, the person closest to the correct number will win.

:55 - In the HOH competition Glass Houses, how many total combined minutes did all four of the houseguests stay inside of their boxes rounded to the nearest minute? Both thinking. Julie repeats the question and tells them she needs an answer right away.

:55 - Answers now. Sharon with 184. Ryan with 310. The correct answer is 557 minutes. Congratulations Ryan, you're the new Head of Household!

:55 - What's in store now that Ryan is the HOH? Stay with us. Commercial.

:57 - We're back. Who will Ryan nominate for eviction? Find out Sunday at 8:00 PM ET. Then, she'll be back Tuesday at 9:00 PM ET, to find out who makes it to the final three. And then on Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET, the final HOH is crowned live. He or she will singlehandedly cast the sole vote in the last eviction of the season thereby choosing who will sit next to them in the final two. From outside the Big Brother house, I'm Julie Chen. Good night.

:58 - Back to the backyard. They're talking about the pre-existing relationship still in the house. Ryan tells Sheila that it's her and Matty. Sheila says no it's not! She knows who it is but that they're not in the house and they're over there and can't say. Show's over!

An Epic Battle Looming?

Talk about setting things up! Tonight's Big Brother was all about the war being waged between Sheila, the current HOH, and Natalie, the lone female member of Team Christ. Good vs bad? Old vs young? Smart vs stupid? Hairy vs shaved? Either way, it's definitely a war.

Natalie is Sheila's real target to be evicted from the house this week so to accomplish that she nominated Adam and Sharon. Sheila wants to be this daring mastermind in the whole scheme of things. Of course, Adam wasn't too thrilled being put on the block and freaked out after being nominated. Sharon, on the other hand, was used to all of this and believed she would be safe for yet another week. Natalie? Well she admitted in the diary room to playing both sides (Girl Power and Team Christ) and feels safe herself this week. We all knew that already but it was still nice to finally see Big Brother let it go out over the airwaves.

Even though tonight's show was rather unusually focused, it didn't come across as boring at all. We had Sheila stressing to Adam over and over that he would be safe this week if he didn't come off the block. We also had Sheila telling us that she wanted to go to the end with Adam. No, not that end! She meant the end of the game. Ya know, it was really nice to see some good diary room segments tonight. Oops! I'm getting off topic already.

After Adam tossed Natalie out of the Team Christ alliance and called her a Judas in front of everybody except her, we saw him sit down to play a little game of chess with Ryan. What is that? Oh my! Ryan noticed on the TV screen that the Power of Veto competition would be that night! After calling the girls out of the HOH room so that they could come down and read the notice for themselves, it was awwwnnnn!

The Power of Veto competition involved 9 squares and 9 remote controls in the backyard. The 9 squares made up a giant TV screen and the 9 remote controls were placed on a coffee table in front of a cushy couch. There were two puzzles that could be put together but only one of them was the correct one. The right one used all 9 squares and were made up of the houseguest's physical attributes being morphed with the guinea pigs. The wrong one used only 8 squares and involved the houseguest's heads being put on Evel Dick's body. Ewww! The person that correctly put together the guinea pigs puzzle together in the least amount of time would win the POV.

Natalie was the first one out of the gate and started working on the wrong puzzle. She wasn't the only one though. Sharon, Ryan, and Sheila all made the same mistake. Adam spent a little time in the beginning getting his remotes lined up (which is what I would have done) and then proceeded to kick some ass. Without even knowing his time (or the results from the feeds), you could tell he did great just because of the lack of footage they had on him for the competition. They had tons of footage for Sheila though. They even played a loopty (my own word) musical arrangement for her because she kept guessing wrong. The part that bothered me the most about all of this was Sheila talking about how much she was distracted by Evel Dick's body. She wasn't wanting to go vomit mind you, she was physically turned on. Could somebody please pass me a puke bucket? Thanks!

Adam won the POV competition by beating out Sharon (only 96 seconds behind him). Ryan came in third place while Natalie and Sheila brought up the rear. Sheila took over fifteen minutes but I thought it was rather shocking that our Big Brother artist and puzzle extraordinaire took over twelve minutes. I loved it though. So did the Big Brother editing team because they played the "Superman" theme on the show for when Adam came back into the house with his medal of gold.

We then spent awhile watching more good battling evil in the house. Sheila told Ryan he wouldn't be going up and that Natalie would be going home this week all while Sharon cackled like a witch at these developments. Natalie discussed with her Team Christ how she'd always prayed about getting "stuff" and that now she's getting it because He wanted her to go on TV and be herself. Oh, and when Sheila's quiet she's talking smack about her. It was a lovely little fraction of a moment Big Brother showed though when they put up Sheila talking behind her cup. I literally laughed out loud.

Natalie's worried about seeing Sharon with Sheila all the time. Sheila tells Natalie not to worry about it because Sharon's not talking smack about her. Oh but Sheila, you certainly are! But then, Natalie didn't ask about that. After Natalie told Sheila that people want to get rid of herself because she's the biggest threat, Sheila poo-pooed her and told her everything would be all right. Sheila then admitted in the diary room that she felt bad lying to Natalie's face but hey, she knows Natalie's done the same to her. And then, Big Brother showed us Natalie saying that she knows Team Christ will keep her this week. So hilarious! And we haven't even seen the POV ceremony yet.

After the odd insertion of Sheila's birthday party celebrations into the mix (which focused solely on her mother and not her son or sister), it was back to game smack. Sharon planted the seed about Natalie's master plan of everybody wanting to keep her, Sharon, until the end because she knew she'd win against her and her max of three votes. After talking it over with Ryan and getting chewed out by Sheila, the boys decided to just chill and wait until after the POV ceremony so that Ryan would be safe and the boys could run their game on the house.

Skipping ahead, blah blah blah, Sheila threatens Adam if he makes it a tie with Natalie on the block, fast forward a little, ah there it was. Finally, it was time for the POV ceremony.

Sheila was fake as can be when it came to putting Natalie up on the block in Adam's place. You could tell she really tried though. She even shed a few tears. You know, I'm not sure if Sheila or Natalie is the best fake crier. Here I go again getting off topic.

The meeting was adjourned and Sheila told us in the diary room that Natalie shouldn't feel safe this week. Natalie then told us she felt safe up against Sharon because the boys want to keep Team Christ together for one more week. Ryan admitted that this is a great week for him and Adam. They now control the votes in the house and can control the game from here on out as well. You should probably wait a few more days on that one Ryan.

So what did you think about the show tonight? It was rather intense for a Tuesday show. I was really glad to see some halfway decent diary rooms tonight. We've only been waiting 60+ days for some of that action eh?

The Show And Natalie's Hair

I watched Big Brother tonight while watching Natalie coloring her hair on the feeds. It was quite the experience I must say. Would she be bald by the time I finished the write-up on the show or would she look absolutely fabulous? I'll let you know my opinion at the end of this post.

Tonight's show began by continuing the endurance HOH competition that ended Wednesday's show. Ryan, Sheila, Sharon, and Natalie were in glass boxes suspended over the backyard and had to try to afix themselves as well as they could to the box to keep from falling out of the bottom. As we know from watching the live feeds, Sharon was the first to drop. After a measly 8 minutes, Sharon gave up blaming her back problems. Has anybody else heard Sharon complaining on the feeds about her back since that evening? Regardless, she dropped because she basically knew she was going to be nominated no matter what. It was interesting to see Adam carry her off though because we didn't get to see that on the feeds. I say interesting but I really mean hilarious.

After Ryan developed scabs, oh he meant to say blisters, he was getting ready to hang in the towel. But not until Natalie and himself could confer with Sheila whilst the nominees apparent were inside the house. Sheila wanted to win HOH to see pictures from her family (and to get rid of Nat
