Liveblogging - Thursday, September 10th, 2009
I can't believe it's almost over folks. There is only one more live show after tonight and it will be the finale. While the season may not be turning out exactly how we'd hoped it would, it's certainly been an interesting summer!
But first, I would like to thank all of you for everything. Without you, there would be no Silly Hamsters blog at all. We're like our own little family here and every season the family gets even bigger. I continue to be amazed at all of your witty, intelligent, and encouraging comments throughout the seasons. I even love the argumentative and bitchy comments believe it or not. All of you contribute in your own little ways and I truly appreciate each moment you take to write a comment for all of us to enjoy. I would also like to give a special thanks to the fabulous commenter named Gregor. Besides being a great commenter, he's also responsible for getting all your comments posted during the liveblogs. Again, thank you all and I hope every single one of you returns next season to share in the craziness that's Big Brother.
Let's get back to this season though because it's definitely not over. Tonight we're going to watch the second part of the HOH competition and see Julie Chen share the stage with Evel Dick, Janelle, Boogie, and Danielle Reyes. Why? Who knows. Hopefully, we'll also see Jeff and Michele join the others in the jury house. *fingers crossed*
I hope you all join me for the liveblogging fun at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT. And definitely check out the crazy bunch in the chat room. There is a great group of regulars who hang out there. For all of you regulars, I love you guys and gals!

HD - It's possible that Sunday's show will be the live eviction and determination of the final two in light of the change in the format (part 2 live tonight, part 3 live on Sunday).
From HD - The third part of the HOH will be live on finale night (Tuesday).

Back at ya H.D. You and your site are what it's all about. The blog, the chat..feels like we are one big sometimes functional/sometimes disfunctional family. Thanks for your dedication to our entertainment and being our direct line to whats happening in the Big Brother house.

It was my pleasure and I am sure any of us would have done the same. You and your blog are the best and I often wish BB were a non-stop show so that we wouldn't have to wait nine months to hear from you again.
This site and all the readers/posters have the most insightful and fun banter and I always appreciate reading your comments, even if it takes me all freaking day!
Here's hoping for a good outcome tonight and on Tuesday. See you all in chat and hope to hear your take on things during the live blogging as well.

Thanks for the best blog ever. We can still hope that AG will right the wrongs that we all saw. If not, tomorrow I'll be calling the sponsors of the show!

Thank you HD for making BB even more interesting for me by providing insight that I may never see or hear from just watching the shows. I have read your blogs for the last few years and finally posted my opinions and viewpoints this year. For me, I will be only mildly disappointed if Kevin wins. Jordan doesn't deserve it and Natalie played well but because she is greasy and slimy which makes me not want to win. She did manipulate well. Dr. Will was the puppet master, but he had charm and was likeable. Natalie is no Dr. Will, but she did get others to do her bidding. OH well, thank you again for providing me a daily indulgence of BB!

There is a bit of joy in hamsterville, the not so mighty Gnat-biotch has struck out!

OH MY GOD !! Thank You Jesus. Jordan beat that nasty bitches ass fair & square without cheating like natalie did all season. Wow pay back will really be a bitch :)
Posted by: Patti at September 10, 2009 05:59 PM
Interesting Show!! If Kevin wins HOH, BB just gave him a hand in evicting Natalie without having to worry about her threats of turning the jury against him since she won't spend time in the jury house!

Did you see Gagonthegnat's face when Jorday WON!!What an expression! Maybe justice will prevail after all.
Posted by: Deborah at September 10, 2009 06:06 PM
YIPPEE!!!! Jordon won the second comp, nasty lost.
Posted by: terry at September 10, 2009 06:22 PM
Love, love. love Ratalie pissing and moaning about losing to Jordo. Her fate is in someone else's hands and not her own nasty ones. Praying she goes out with NOTHING...
Posted by: SuZieQ at September 10, 2009 06:22 PM
Well, Gnat looking like you might have to go to a $99.00 bridal dress sale..hee hee!

You people really do seem pathetic with way your talking about Natalie it's so funny. Put yourself in her shoes and think some one was blogging about you and saying same crap your spewing out, bet you would hate it. What makes you people so much better then her. Even the 4 "best players" in BB history gave Natalie credit for creating a good game but some people that blog are too immature to do that. Only reason people care about Jordan is because of a pathetic showmance during the season that's only reason people like Jessica and Eric and all the other showmances. As for the show which is what it's suppose to be about not some hate party.
Kevin would make the dumbest move in big brother history, More dumb then Marcellas move in BB 3 if he don't take Natalie to final 2 if he beats Jordan because he will be screwing himself out of $450,000 Dollars because Jordan will probably have 7 out of 8 votes to win and Kevin will look like goofy after that.
Jordan has said she would take Natalie to final 2 if She won HOH so we will see if she sticks to it. So Natalie could still be sitting pretty either way unless Kevin makes the biggest mistake EVER and takes Jordan im sure he knows Jordan would easily win 500k, Jeff, Michelle, Natalie and America will seal Kevin's fate.
Posted by: Tim at September 10, 2009 06:35 PM
HD you rock!! I was able to cast all of my votes for Kevin, Kevin, Jordan. None for nasty Gnat.
Posted by: mema at September 10, 2009 06:36 PM
Ding Dong Nasty maybe gone. The look on her face was pricelss. See ya wouldn't want to be ya Nasty. We all know that Nasty will be playing Kevin and Jordan trying to get them to keep her over the other. I hope Jordan and Kevin will stick to their guns and vote the Nasty out.

Thanks HD. This was my first time and I really enjoyed all the comments. I look forward to it again next time.
Do you do the other reality shows here at this site? If so, I'll be here. I am addicted to reality TV.
Thanks again!!

OMG Jordan won round 2. I wonder how gnat will spin this loss, because you know she always wins when she has to. (Yea right you worm). Wouldn't it be awesome if Jordan won round 3? I really don't care if Jordan or Kevin wins, just as long as gnat is the last jury member. Sweet Jesus.
Posted by: martie at September 10, 2009 06:42 PM
TONIGHT WAS GREATNESS! Sorry for the caps, I was just really excited to see the upset for part 2. It was good to see the allstars again also. Janelle has always been a favorite of mine. Wasn't it awesome that Gnat got smoked by Jordo in that comp? I am super excited by the changes BB made for the finale night. Usually I am disappointed by who I know will be in F2 at this point give up on the feeds or BBAD. But, now there is plenty of time for more scheming and plotting. Whoohoo!
HD you are the best, thanks again for your part in making this a memorable BB season.

I am so happy. Jordon won. That s so awesome and she won without cheating. Go Jordon. Great show tonight. I am so happy we have a vote this year. I voted all for Jordon and Kevin. I gave no vote to cheating Nat. Also thank you HD for all your hard work. I love you site. You give us a place to vent and rejoice. Thank you.

Oh, Tim! You silly, silly boy. You're just trying to push some buttons, aren't you?!?! Sorry, I'm not falling for it. You know as well as the rest of us that Natalie had it coming to her. Nice try, though. I'm not going to give you the satisfaction of another rant about Natalie. After all, we all know the true nature of her character now, don't we?

That's too funny! I'd love to see her in one of those stampedes with all the bridezillas grabbing for dresses. She would fit right in, wouldn't she!
Posted by: powercatgirl85 at September 10, 2009 07:14 PM
Tim Tim Tim you are so not getting it.Gnat is being ragged on not because she played a poor game but because she has taken the game to a personal, vile, nasty, and hurtful level. There was no reason for her to say mean hurtful things about the other HG's. Yes lying is all part of the game and is fair play but she seemd to get so much pleasure out of going over the top with the rude insults and jabs on a daily bases. People like her only make themselves feel better by putting good people down and that is why she is disliked by the masses.

Well, I have to give it up to Porko - she won tonight. Then again, she was up against another moron - so that's not saying much. The F2 is still to come. The sad part about this season is that NONE OF THE F3 DESERVES TO WIN ANYTHING. This was the season of the cast of losers. Get it together BB - their must be some intellects w/looks applying for the show. Weed out the losers for God's sake.
Posted by: Jade75 at September 10, 2009 07:24 PM
I think Natalie deliberately lost the competition tonight because she feels that both of them would take her to the final 2, and she needs their jury votes as well. Another good move on her part avoiding blood on her hands. She has never been my favorite player, it is really hard to watch her manipulate everyone, but in the end I have to admit she has been able to do so without too many house guests figuring it out. I think Kevin finally has figured out that he has been manipulated as well by her and hopefully he finds a way to convince Jordan to take him to the end if she wins HOH. I really hope Kevin and Jordan make it to the end.
Posted by: Kathleen at September 10, 2009 07:25 PM
Praise the lord for Jordan winning tonight fair and square. So good to see Natalie shocked and thrown for a curve with the announced procedure. Neat changes to keep the final 3 there to the end, and to let America have a vote. If Natalie complains (as usual) that this is unfair, she just needs to blame her friend Chima. It's her fault that there was an even number left in the jury house and they needed to be able to break a tie. Life's tough. Suck it up Natalie and go with the flow. America is happy. Good decision on BB's part to help save the reputation of the show.
Posted by: ddd at September 10, 2009 07:26 PM
I was pleased that Jordan beat Natalie, but if she wins on Tuesday, I think it is a given that she will take Natalie to the final 2...(revenge for Kevin taking out Jeff). And that would really not be good.
I do not want to see Jordan win BB. Simply because she had no game. None. And I do not want to see another Erica win 500,000.
Knowing what we know now (at least implied by the jury members), it really looks as though Kevin would have a great shot at beating Natalie if she were with him. But, of course, Kevin doesn't know that and thinks she has all the jury members in her pocket.
I am going to vote for Kevin. I would not really mind Natalie getting 50,000. She has played the game at least, even if we do not like her. Kevin has had his moments when I despaired of him - but he is the lesser of two evils for me.
Thanks for such a great place to share all of our thoughts.

Funny how the dumbest woman in NC knew every HOH in order. I wonder how long Big Brother let her stand out there staring at the game board before they turned the cameras on. Everyone knows BB is doing everything possible to make Jeff and Jordan win, too bad for Jeff. Now they change the whole game to not allow the last person to be voted out to rally votes in the Jury House, because everyone knows that Natalie will try to raise votes against Jordan. That's not all BB has up their sleave, now they are allowing America to count as a vote, wonder who they will vote for. BB is such BS, and this is the last season that I ever watch.

It was priceless to see Natalie"s face, on the verge of tears... already making excuses before they even went off air!! She should have stayed on that log of she wanted to be sure to be in part 3. I bet if Natalie won she would have been rubbing it in (like last hoh)... all I can say is, karma!!!
To respond to a previous post... No I do not feel guilty about talking bad about Natalie. She does not seem to have a problem talking bad about people. The reason people like Jordan is because she is genuine and sincere.
Posted by: bbfan48 at September 10, 2009 07:46 PM
@ Tim: the question isn't whether we would "hate it." The question is whether we would deserve it! Bad people deserve to have bad things said about them whether they like it or not.
Posted by: GGGGirl at September 10, 2009 07:48 PM
Natalie wasn't other person that has taken game to "personal level". It happens every year so why signal out 1 person for doing it. Once you sign waivers your fair game if you can't handle it then don't sign up. It's not for us to judge people based off a game doesn't mean that's how they are in real life. The bloggers haven't taken it farther then Natalie has so what's that say about you bloggers?
Posted by: Tim at September 10, 2009 07:55 PM
Im so glad Jordo won! And what I loved most about it, is when Julie asked how she felt about winning. Jordan didn't gloat or make a sassy comment like "ha! ha! in your face BEEEEEOCH!" She she just made a comment about being sweaty. I love that girl. And I can't believe people call her fat. Whats wrong with you people? Not even close to being fat morons.

Hey, HD I see there is another Chris here and I don't want people to think that those comments are mine. What would you suggest I do. Can I change my name in any way?
From HD - You could have changed your name when you typed this comment. But then so could they. Chris is a pretty common name though.

Funny how the dumbest woman in NC knew every HOH in order. I wonder how long Big Brother let her stand out there staring at the game board before they turned the cameras on.
CHRIS - you are so right. I'm sure BB gave big hints to the "dumb one" during her DR sessions - such as - Jordo - It probably would be a good idea to know the order of the HOH's. Of course they also had to tell her - you shouldn't share this info with K/N. As we know, Porko who can't tell time is so dumb that she would have told K/N what the DR said that's why they probably had to warn her. BB knew that it's viewers dislike Nat and I'm sure that's why they had to help Cankles.
Posted by: Jade 75 at September 10, 2009 08:02 PM
I thought it was funny when Jeff said something about Jordan and Michelle not voting for Kevin to win because Kevin got rid of him - Jesse jumped right on that and said, Dude, they don't care about you after you're gone. That sure burst Jeff's bubble!! Welcome to reality.
Although none of the remaining three deserve to win, Jordan is the lesser of the evils - my vote for her has nothing to do with her "showmance." If she's in F2, she'll win, no matter who she's up against.
Posted by: martie61 at September 10, 2009 08:16 PM
Wow, just wow @ Tim...seems u got it all figured out. Nat's the genious, and an 18 year old out-smarted us all, huh?
To be clear, I am not completely anti-Nat...she did what the game called for to get further in the game...she would have been better suited fr Survivor for entertainment and maniplulation value. but after reading her blog, it seems that in her mind her gamesmanship was not for BB purposes, but her own personal gratification because she truly buys all the bullshit she's selling...i think she has convinced herself that she really is 18, and naive, but her 'smart' moves are continuously working the 'old-heads'...the oldies were hooked, lined and sank! Funny thing is, she may be right in this regard...those big dummies that dont know the game of BB(read JEFF and JORDAN).
The only surpising thing is that maybe, just maybe, she really does have a good read on the dumbness of some of the hgs...those of us whoare true fans should be disappointed in the fact that a non-watcher like Jordan is in F3 and being used as a pawn by BB to keep us watching...that is just sad.
Whatever the case, I know I have spent some Suns, Tues, and Thurs paralyzed by the game, many days reading and commenting on HD's site (thanks for having a place for all of us BB junkies to commune safely...lol)and many more sleepless nights trying to get extra details from BBAD, so from a marketing standpoint the whole concept of BB is genious, whoever wins!!
I could give 2 shits about the winner of BB11, let's move on the Survivor, the real social experiemnt(i know, lol) already, dang!

I am so HAPPY Jordan won the second part of HOH! As far as her being stupid, she's dumb like a fox! She bet Natalie's sorry arse! Jordan is such a humble person, just like Jeff. How can you not like either one?
LOVED it. I'm sure NataLIE is second guessing her "deal" with Kevin now. Man Karma is such a biatch isn't it!
Love this blog, and check it waaaaaaaaaaay too often!
Had no idea it existed, wish I'd found it sooner!
Great job and THANK YOU!

Thank you for thanking us HD, but truly, thank you for providing all of us with such enjoyment and such a fun place to congregate and share our love of BB!
I seem to be with the majority tonight in that I was happy to see Jordan stick it to Natalie. Something else from earlier in the show though, is that perspective is funny. I'm a live feed viewer and a semi-frequent visitor here, so of course I knew all about the controversy w/Kev and Nat on the log roll. My father sat down and watched the show tonight though, and he's what I'd call a casual viewer. He knows the HGs by sight but not necessarily name or in-depth background. So we're watching and after a few minutes he tells me he's pulling for Kevin because he's been making moves lately. I then pointed out to him that they'd been directed to only face front and that he was getting an advantage looking to the right. After a few more minutes, he's like, "Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice that, the other girl (Natalie) does it too but not as much, the blonde girl (Jordan) is the only one not cheating, now I'm rooting for her." Jordan promptly fell at that point...but my dad was fully invested at that point and so he got his justice at the end.
I also find it funny, that based on his DRs, Kevin seems to be chomping at the bit to get rid of Natalie...then we cue the jury house where (like a growing portion of America) Natalie seems to be universally disrespected. Kevin seems to always be mentally tallying votes...problem is he's thinking like a houseguest and not a juror (Jessie, to me, may've had the line of the night to Jeff in this regard when he told him that when you're gone you no longer matter in there. Jessie may've been just as unlikable this time, but he has been, dare I say it(?), more of a sage). I think of the three left Kevin's been the strongest player and deserves the win most...that being said, if I were looking for a reason NOT to vote for him, a miscalculation on the scale of the one he's headed toward making might be reason enough. This may be a Captain Obvious statement, but I think the final vote is gonna come down to the wire on Finale Night, and the last juror and the HoH that sends them and the manner in which they get evicted can all end up looming large...there's gonna be a lot of uncertainty and moving parts right up to the end, and while I'm not head-over-heels for any of these 3 finalists, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited.
I've rambled even beyond my usual, but as an FYI to anyone interested, the "Casting" link on the bottom of the CBS website has been updated for BB12 (it was BB11 still up through yesterday--yeah I've been checking everyday cause I'm nutty like that!). Thanks as always for the forum to express HD...it's always a pleasure!

It was nice to see Jordan win.
None of my favorites made it to final 3 this year so I'll route for Jordan to take it home. She hasn't always been the brightest crayon in the box but she has always tried. I see comments about her floating and not winning things. Well, the game isn't about winning HOH. The game is all about reaching final 2 and securing enough jury votes to take home the cash.
I've never understood the negative attitude to floaters. What is wrong with sidestepping a target?
How is Jordan more of a floater than Natalie. Even Jessie was able to see that she threw the competition to make Kevin be the bad guy. And Jessie is not so bright himself. Nat has clung to others through the show. Alright, she also manipulates them. But then there are lots of comments about Jordan manipulating Jeff. Although, people put it in nicer terms, saying she "influenced him". I guess that's because she didn't cackle about it in diary afterwards. Also, she didn't mean it to be to Jeff's detriment so that's a point in her favour too.
Do people really think she just entered the house to meet a guy and get a tan?
Jordan seems really young to me. She has good insights but she's too young to trust them. And she has a caring heart and is easily lied to.
I believe that Russ would have stuck with final 4 if J/J had gotten paranoid. But I also think that if M/R hadn't been having a conversation about final 2 just hours before the lie they would not have felt guilty and would have been very vocal in saying that is not what they said. Jeff started by telling them he had heard them say it. He did walk in on them just after they talked about making a final 2 pack.
It never ceases to amuse me how every year people claim BB is cheating in favour of someone. They told Nat fans didn't think she was enthusiastic? I bet in diary they were asking her questions about the proposal and one of them touched on the low key reaction. I seriously doubt they told her that fans commented on it.
They cheated in favour of Jordan by having her study the order of HOH? Do you think that having lived through it Jordan might possibly remember who was HOH? She's young, she has a naive sounding accent, she plays it up a bit but come on people she's able to remember what happened. She did fine in the before/after competition.
Natalie on the other hand insisted she knew the answers but just couldn't get the balls in the right holes. Even when Julie pointed out that mistake Nat didn't get the hint.
If I have to pull for Jordan to win it all I'll focus on some of the good things she brought to the game:
She has a sence of fun and tried to join in all the games
She got a little giggly at times but never comprimised her personal rule of not having sex on TV
She wasn't as vacant as I expected. Chima was much more of a Diva
Her entire clique was wiped out around her and she managed to survive, thrive, and make her way to final 3.
She hasn't been all grumpy
She doesn't continuously bitch about other players and spend endless hours talking about how the done her wrong.
She wasn't part of the "we love Jessie club"
She's cute and perky. And she's not fat. Seriously, it concerns me when people say that. Do you realize how many young women have serious medical conditions cause by poor body image? And if they look at Jordan as fat what does it take to be considered normal? This is not a size 0 world and it is unhealthy to promote that image. She might have gained a couple of pounds but anyone who considers that to be fat is delusional.

CONGRATS, JORDAN! I'm so proud of her for being focused and a gracious winner. Natalie, on the other hand, is a sore loser. There's no way she threw that comp. EXCUSES, EXCUSES! No wonder everyone has fallen for her 18 year old lie. She acts like an immature, spoiled brat. Kevin does this too with his whinning and constipated ghetto diva face. You cannot fool America. We see you for what you are and I cannot wait for Chenbot to let you know how loathed you are. That being said, my wonderlust has worn off and I believe AG gave us a show to love filled with magic and hope, only to rip it away from us Tuesday and spit in our faces. She wants a Kevin/Natalie F2 so bad for juicy jury. Only problem is it is live and there's going to be a lot of bleepin' goin' on. I really don't want to hear a peep from Natalie. I would laugh so hard if her fauxance dumped her live at the finale. She is so undeserving of the money, that's why it pains me to see her in the F2. All she should get is Maggot's number to attend therapy with her. After she's released back into the wild and finds out she's probably the most hated hamster, ever, she's going to need someone to lean on and then blame for everything cuz that's what she does. PATHETIC!

Natalie the ti quando champion. I think she won the championship in her class by beating a 10 year old girl on a split decision. Master of the arts.
Posted by: Robert Craft at September 11, 2009 02:05 AM
Tim,
The reason we all are against Natalie isn't because she lies or because she stayed in the background... it is because SHE IS SO MEAN WHEN IT IS NOT NEEDED. She gets such pleasue out of being mean for the sake of feeling powerful.

Jordan rode Jeff & Michelle's coattails until the end; played the sweet innocent southern girl (we know she isn't)and then turned on the heat to win. She was always playing the game; she even played Jeff making him think she was so naive, innocent, and all the other crap he says; whenever she opened her mouth she was so pathetic making everyone think she didn't understand simple words they used, didn't know the different cards? She plays solitaire for cripe sake; Hello! YUCK! Everyone fell for her. America will vote for her. If Kevin wins, he would be smart to pick Nat to sit beside him.
I agree that it appears BB changes up the comps to fit what they want to see. They need this drama and for people to think Nat is out and then Jordan will lose against Kev and he will pick Nat. It is all played out; Nat & Kev said BB in DAR kept trying to sway his game.
Nat has positioned herself to possibly be chosen by either Kev or Jordan. Was surprised Kev feels he should get rid of Nat as he will never win against Jordan since she has a record of winning; with Nat, as she said last night, she doesn't have a record of winning; doesn't deserve it unless it is for her lying and scheming. Which, by the way, Kevin wouldn't be where he is if he didn't go along with her scheming & lying; against Jordan, nobody has a chance. Jordan only wants the $50,000; that would at least allow her to keep up with her Gucci lifestyle and get more implants while her mother continues to spend and get evicted from her home more than once? Something wrong with that picture. Jordan doesn't deserve the money; it will will not be used except for material things. She doesn't really need it; she just wants it.
This late in the game nobody should throw a competition. Anyone who watches BB should know you don't trust anyone; Nat & Kevin made up enough lies. Kevin lied and made promises he won't keep just as everyone else lied. It is a game do what you need to do to get further. Nat may have sealed her own fate by dropping and believing Kevin. She is incapable of winning a comp so she makes deals.
If Kev/Nat are F2, it will make it more difficult for jury to decide. If J in F2, it will be a slam dunk for her to win. Want Kevin to win it all; take Nat; America, as usual, will give Jordan their vote. I feel America should have no vote at all since we know everything that goes on and have an advantage. BB has stooped to some all time lows this year.
Hope next year will be better and we can route for more interesting players.

i have no idea why you or anyone would get off the jordan train midseason, but that said, jordan came on like gangbusters to win over 2 other weak players. so she won 2 of 3 of the 3 part hoh, on her own, one pov and one given hoh as opposed to nats one hoh. jordan seemed to play the game as she wanted and won when she had to. i did like the new way to end the show. and all in all bottom line i was ecstatic for the heart of gold sweetheart from carolina winning. her generosity and unselfishness are to be commended, as i believe she will help all of whom she spoke. and finally i hope she and jeff do end up living happily ever after, wink wink. thanx
