Interviews Galore!

There are so many interviews (video, audio, and written) out there from the hamsters that it's not even funny! Many of them are from the backyard on finale night. As the days pass, expect some of the hamsters to open up a bit more about their experience in the house as they read what's been said about them by their fellow houseguests and the fans.

First, Real Networks has their interviews with all of hamsters conducted by Chelsia Hart (BB9) up in SuperPass in the Hot Clips section. CBS has theirs up in the Interviews section. WeLoveBigBrother.com has an entire load of videos up as well and you can check them out on their YouTube channel. Ross Mathews of Inside Dish has video from the backyard up here.

On Friday, the live feeds will begin streaming the Big Brother Meet and Greet party in Las Vegas. That goes from 4:00 PM PT to 8:00 PM PT. Then on Saturday, we can watch the pool party from 9:00 PM PT to 1:00 AM PT. I can't wait for all of that! You better be in the chat room! By the way, Natalie won't be there because she had to fly back home for prior plans (friend's wedding).

I hope you enjoy some random interviews and videos below! As you find different ones, send the links my way! The juicier the better!

Update at 3:30 PM - The link to all of the interviews from Diane (BB5) are right here.

Update - The streaming from Vegas will actually be in the Big Brother SuperPass section under Live at the Studio. The footage is supposed to be available later as well in case you don't get the chance to see it live.

Interviews with Diane..

THE GNAT, the biggest pathological liar in BB history, won't be there. Darn, Darn, Darn it. :)

Posted by: Vegas at September 17, 2009 06:28 AM

Did THE GNAT really have other plans? Doubt it.

MistersMom, thanks for that link...that's got to be the funniest recap I've ever seen...and I've been checking out bunches of videos and recaps..I may have to print it out and frame it. If I didn't know better, I might think DRATS had something to do with it.

Fellow addicts, you MUST read it!!

Posted by: SuZieQ at September 17, 2009 04:30 PM

MisterMom...that was hilarious. Thanks so much for the link. It's a must-read, but set by a bit of time unless you are a speed reader.

HD, will you be able to post any videos from Vegas? I don't have the live feeds but would love to see what happens there. I wouldn't be surprised if Diane and Jeff don't get together. They were really flirting with each other. Thanks again for everything this season!

From HD - Sorry but the videos from Vegas being shown on the feeds are only going to be shown there.

Thanks for the link to the great recap, MistersMom.

The recapper stated one of my core beliefs about peoples' behavior on reality shows:

Some people try to excuse the houseguests' moral aberrations by saying that the house is such a stressful pressure cooker that you become someone else in there, and behave as you never would outside. No. Oh it is certainly a high-pressure, unnatural situation, but it doesn't make you into someone else. It makes you more nakedly who you are. It reveals you.

Thank you MistersMom for the great link...excellent recap and so satisfying to read, and yes gray, that was the most insightful explanation for what happens to people in the BB house, they are REVEALED (one good reason for me not to go on BB!).

Just watched "the secret eviction" video... and it has me wondering about the permanent psychological damage done to BB HG's... I mean, aren't these folks grown-ups? Do they live daily in a mental euphoria longing to relive their days in the BB house? It reminds me of the high school jock and/or the prom queen that never grow up. I think these folks need a mental check-up... yikes!

Posted by: Dixie at September 18, 2009 07:31 AM

Wow Dixie that is exactly what I thought when I saw that video. Sad is all I can say. They need to move on! But I did like Kaysar a lot back in the day.

Lud A'mighty what an article from the Huffington Post. I couldn't agree more about the "more nakedly what you are" business. But please let's extend that to every poster on this and every blog. What you write on these posts, where there is merciless venom and unfounded hatred and astounding ignorance, despite any veil of anonymity, makes you just as nakedly what you are, as does any behavior by any reality tv person.

Posted by: BenF at September 19, 2009 06:58 PM

BenF...unfounded hatred? I think my hatred of Gnat and Shelia is as well founded as anybody's hatred of anyone else could possibly be. If I didn't hate them, then I wouldn't hate anybody at all, and you might mistakenly take me for Christ or something. If you think that hating some character on a TV show is irrational, then I agree. BB contestants are not acting out some script on a soap opera, but bring their real personalities for us to observe. In real life, I would want to place as much distance between me and people like Gnat or Shelia as possible.

What I find hard to understand is how so many people find Evel Dick likable. I have to wonder if you are so offended by astounding ignorance, then what do you see in Jordan? It might surprise you to find out that I am actually happy that Jordan won. That does not mean that I think that watchers of BB are out of line if they comment on how astounding dumb she is--or appears to be, for those who think that she is really very smart and was just acting that way to fly under the radar.

Just wanted to thanks for yet another wonderful BB season with you. See you next year!

Posted by: Kathrinee at September 20, 2009 10:52 PM

Gray - my post wasn't towards you in particular. I'm all for hatred as long as there's laughter about it afterwards. It's that pesky stick-to-your-soul and weigh you down to the earth sort of hatred that I can't seem to get past. I didn't care for Natalie, Jessie, Lydia or Ronnie in the house but I really don't think that their behavior or Jordan's lack of intelligence about some, not all, things, is qualitatively indicative of the impending fall of western civilization. Chima is quite another story.

Posted by: BenF at September 21, 2009 02:30 PM

I'd say "HATE" is a stong word. I don't hate anyone that hasn't done something that either hurts me or my family directly... so my hate list is very-very short... and most of them already dead... ie: Hitler...

Despise the characters that we see on BB.. that's easy to do... I realize that most of the people that we come to despise on these shows probably don't act that way in real life... I think Lydia has some redeemable qualities. I actually think Chima does too...I think she was miss-cast and should have never been put on the show. I think BB was expecting her to have a meltdown at some point, I just don't think they realized that it would go on all season and that it would become an eruption, not a meltdown...so I fault BB for that one.

Jessie... one of the most self-absorbed persons I've ever had the displeasure of watching...not the kind of person I'd choose to hang out with, but hate...nope...he doesn't have the ability to evoke that much emotion from me. I just don't like him, but of course, others do.

Nastalie..er..Natalie... For whatever reason, and we don't know the whole story, this child is a sociopath plain and simple. I don't hang out with sociopaths...therefore I wouldn't put her on my friends list either... but I'm usually more interested in finding out what makes a person who they are... and I'd love to know what steers her boat!

Being from the Old South myself, I understand Jordan and her ignorance, much better than most. She's gotten by on her sweet disposition and good looks all her life and therefore never had to put forth much effort. She's ignorant, which is different that stupid... the fact that she said she was going to take some college courses for herself with that money tells me that she, amongst the mass that was BB11, will be the one that has an opportunity to improve herself and her situation... and I think she does have her eye on that prize. Plus, someones ignorance or stupidity has never been a reason to hate... but rather to pity... and I certainly don't pity Jordan. In fact I like her. I like her because she's the kind of person that would reveal to a reporter interviewing her... that next week she'd be back in Charlotte and return to her job at the beauty shop.. but she didn't want to work that second job waitressing any more because it was hard work... now that's a person that is wise beyond her years..she knows what is truly important in life... she is grounded.

I'm with BenF... and I think I understood his meaning... we do more harm to ourselves by hating, and these folks are just characters in a virtual world. They have no REAL meaning in our lives...except to entertain.

I hope Jordan gets both a college education and Jeff... not necessarily in that order.

have a great winter and see ya'll all back here in about 9 months...
