Best Moments
I can't believe the season is almost over and there is only one more show left. That is what makes the clip show so fun to watch. We saw hamsters we haven't seen in a while and remembered why we loved and/or hated them. Besides, there's nothing else to watch on the feeds at this point in time. It's the same way every season and this one is no exception. So why not enjoy a clip show?
I don't care what anybody thinks but the best part of the show (and of the season) was when Chima was expelled. Chima was a straight up spoiled rotten wannabe diva and it was absolutely delicious to watch her get kicked out of the house again. Don't sit down. Don't pass Go. Don't collect $200. Just get the hell out.
Jessie's funeral on Day 40 was another great moment of the season. I remember watching Lydia, Natalie, and Chima carry on about his eviction on the live feeds that night and it was beyond pitiful. The edited version with the sad music in the background and Kevin's reactions at the dining room table and in the diary room made it so much better. I really hope those women watch that clip when the game is over and see how foolish they looked.
No matter what I think about Jeff and Jordan personally, they made a really cute couple in the house. Their conversations made me laugh out loud many many times. Sharks are gross! I want to be a pretty fish. I'll be a squirrel because they live in neighborhoods. You'll take the ring I give you. I can't believe I'm engaged. They're not the brightest bulbs in the room but they are cute.
But hey, Jeff did do one thing right. He used the Coup d'Etat that we gave to him and used it to get the person out that we wanted him to. Adios Mr. Pectacular! We also enjoyed watching him go off on Miss I'm Not Shlurring My Words. That was a fun afternoon in the house. It was nice to see Mr. Hose really give it to Lydia!
Some of the other interesting moments included in the clip show were Casey in his banana suit, Jordan chest-bumping Russell, and Michele's sleep talking. And who could dislike watching Ronnie cry like a little girl? Boo freaking hoo! I certainly didn't feel sorry for Ronnie when Russell was shadowing him. Natalie's over-the-top reaction towards bugs is also always good to watch when you're feeling blue. By the way, where were Laura and Braden?
So what were your favorite moments from the clip show? Do you have any favorite moments from this season that were left out of the show? And what about the competitions? Did you have a favorite one this season? I'm also curious to know what you thought about the Have Nots situation. Is that something you'd like Big Brother to incorporate into the twelfth season? Did you like voting for the silly food for the Have Nots to eat with their slop or do you think it was a waste? Do you think there's a better way they could have done this? Let me know in the comments!

It was another great season of BB. Love them or hate them, all the hamsters make us watch just to see what they will do next. Everyone hated Chima but wasn't it fun when she was evicted? We loved Casey and we cheered when he was evicted in his banana suit. He was a class act. Jeff and Jordan - now and forever America's sweethearts. Neither one is smarter than the other which is probably why they should end up together. HD Thanks for another great year. I wouldn't enjoy it half as much if you weren't here. I appreciate very much what you do for us. Thanks again.

This has certainly been a memorable season with many classic BB moments. Although I loved Chima's expulsion and the eulogy for Jessie segments, they left one of my favorite moments from this season out. That was of course during Casey's eviction when he was telling Jessie how stupid he is and Natalie tried to jump in and protect her man. "What are you his pit bull? Go make Jessie a sandwich or something." LOL It don't get much better than that folks.
I'm almost sad that there is only one more show left but at least it's a two hour final this year!
I thought the America's Choice food voting was kinda lame this season and would have rather seen them forced to eat nasty things and crawl through bugs to get good grub as they have in the past. It would have been pure joy to watch Nasty Natalie completely freak out by having to deal with Madagascar hissing roaches or giant Jurassic dragonflies!

Ah the memories! They really hit on most of the good stuff on the clips tonight, which when you think of it is kind of sad. Was not the best of seasons, but sure was not the worst. We had our ups and downs. Hated Jesse back in this year and the reign of terror from that group for the first few weeks. Thrilled when Jessie got the boot by Jeff with our help. Even more thrilled when Chima got the boot thanks to... well Chima herself. And then... HOH ego's took over and the season went back downhill, until we are left with the 3 stooges.
Can't believe Tuesday is it - wait 9 months and then it is almost over... sigh.
Grog - Hope your B-day Saturday went well. E-mailed, but that didn't go through anymore. Hope you are well.

next year bb should have all evicted hg's go to jury house..not to vote but to be available to retutn at any moment within the first four weeks..bb splurge a few thousand more and make this happen..i should be a producer on the show..as a matter of fact i was the first to suggest a bb allstar version during bb5..so my suggestions are usually spot on
Posted by: alau53 at September 13, 2009 09:02 PM
I did like the have nots situation nor did I like the silly food we chose for them. I thought both were very lame. I liked pretty much everything else but not those two things. I am so excited about Tuesday. I think Jordan has about a 70% chance of winning something. 50-50 chance of winning HOH and then if she loses, maybe about a 20% chance that Kevin will take her. I'm afraid he will wise up and take Natalie. He should if we wants to win but I hope he will take Jordan. I don't want Natalie to win anything. Go Jordan!

where is Natalie mom? she just talks about her dad and boyfriend.
Posted by: melissa at September 13, 2009 09:36 PM
I wish they did America's Player again this year...I thought that was always fun! I would have liked to see a girl do it...Jordan would have been hilarious being made to do crazy things for money!
Posted by: PittsburghNurse at September 13, 2009 09:36 PM
Oh I wanted to say this too....I think that BB should have a season made up of all the first evicted houseguests...give them all a second chance...I always feel bad for the first evicted...it's usually done on first impressions rather then gameplay at that point!
Posted by: PittsburghNurse at September 13, 2009 09:39 PM
Didn't like the have-have nots. Didn't like America voting for the stupid foods. Personally I'm not in favor of BB Slop at all. I think it's stupid to starve the hamsters. Peanut Butter and Jelly were just fine.
I really like the idea of a first evicted show. Good call PittsburghNurse.

What I remember the most about this season is how we all hated the beginning of this season and how boring it was at first and then all the sudden BAM it's on. I will never forget that. I just can't remember what got us all wanting more?? Maybe it was the Russell and Chima fights. Anyway, I really enjoyed the flashback show tonight too. I love, love the part where Kevin was mocking the girls for crying over Jessie and when Kevin was watching Jeff watering his garden. Those were some of the funny clips ever. Well, can't wait until Tuesday. I guess you are live blogging HD?? I will say my goodbyes then. Goodnight all.

I swear I keep having dejavous moments about the three left in the house..umm... can anyone relate this finale to season 6 with Maggie (Kevin), Yvette (Gnat) and Janelle (Jordon)? At any rate Gnat is as annoying as Yvette. I was so glad when that season ended, even though it was one of my faves, just because of her voice and here it is again. Sheesh I'll be glad when Tuesday gets here.
Anyway, the clips were fun but I hated the pretentiousness of the three trying to act. They need to keep their day jobs. I also missed Braeden and Laura being on there. I hope we'll see them somewhere down the line. Braeden was so funny.
Thanks for another great season of blogging, HD. It was great fun reading all the posts and watching the clips. Until next time, be safe, all.
Go Jordy!

This clip show was freakin' hysterical! I was laughing out loud for real! These were some funny nutcases this year! :-)
I think the Have/Have Nots is a stupid part of the game, and voting on the food they get is even dumber. I would love to see the TV show used to display the maximum drama that occurs between the houseguests, cause there sure is plenty of it! No need to waste time with stupid slop!
The Jeff/Jordan and the Natalie/bug segments were definitely the funniest parts of BB in general this season - what a hoot!
Looking forward to Tuesday!! GO JORDAN!!!!

That hug between Jessie and Natalie (right before he left the house) was ridiculous...her boyfriend's probably thinking "what the hell, i could barely get a fake 5 second hug from you??"
I too, wish Casey's eviction & exit was also on tonight's episode. holla!

Once again I'm playing catch-up on the comments from the previous post.
KimG: I must respectfully disagree with your assessment of the final three. The final three, IN MY OPINION, are not the best game players of BB11. I don't believe this game is completely about strategy and game play. There is some luck and timing involved as well. However, I do think Kevin and Jordan became better players in the last few weeks. This is what I love about "Silly Hamsters", we have some wonderful discussions thanks to Hamster Dame! Thanks again for hosting such a terrific blog HD!! Thanks, too, for letting all of us have our say. It's been a fun season.
Posted by: powercatgirl85 at September 13, 2009 11:13 PM
My favorite moments of the clip show...
Jeff: "I can't believe I'm engaged."
Lydia: "I'm not shlllluurrinngg my words."
Jeff: "Chima, you're not in control, just so you know."
Production: "Don't bother sitting down biznatch, the tribe has spoken." (Opps, wrong show.)
I like the Have Nots situation....makes em grumpy, which leads to more drama, and you know how we love the drama! Don't care one way or the other about the extra foods that we vote on...they threw a lot of it out anyway.
See you all on Tuesday!!
Posted by: snoopy99 at September 13, 2009 11:29 PM
When Jessie was going out the door, he scooted back in to say something and then scooted out. Does anyone know what he said? I can never make it out.
I don't care who wins this season - just so long as Nasta-lie is not in the final 2.
That would be sweet, for her to come so close and then go home empty handed. I want a freeze frame shot of her face when the new HOH doesn't take her to the F2
Posted by: lin at September 13, 2009 11:46 PM
I like the idea of having a show featuring those that have been evicted first and carefully selected other hampsters for flavor. Hopefully most agree that participant selection is critical in this game. Don't care for the have or have not segments. Want drama and excitement. Give them more alcohol
Posted by: Pops at September 14, 2009 04:54 AM
First to "lin"...I think Jessie said something like (joking), "I'm back again"
I loved the JJ scenes...I'd love to see them on Amazing Race.
Like most LOVED the Chima eviction...can't get enough of that:)
Kevin's hilarious expressions and DR sessions regarding the "Sob Fest" going on after Jess eviction...Kev's DR have been funny all season.
We finally got a glimpse at the JJ joint DR session...glad about that, too!
Posted by: tbyrd2000 at September 14, 2009 05:42 AM
Jessie came back in to say-I'm back Bitches!!! Thank God he was just kidding. What a douche bag, I can't believe all of those hookers were crying over him leaving. Little did they know they were getting played! Ha! And Natalie had a boyfriend?! Who the hell knew? She was up Jessie's ass the entire time. How disrespectful. Shes so damn annoying and ugly.
Posted by: Meghan at September 14, 2009 06:33 AM
Enjoyed the memories show (finally got to watch this morning)... my favorite was Jeff telling Chimapet that she wasn't in control. I think it was the first time she was actually put in her place the entire season...because she shut up... Amazing!
F3... I'd like to see Jordan win the final HOH and I'd like for her to take Kevin...though it really doesn't matter to me. Winning the final HOH might change the minds of some of the jury that think she's a floater...
I didn't do much voting (once) on the food comps, because I could care less. I agree with someone else... I liked the PB&J days..though for nutrition/allergy reasons, I thinked BB changed it to slop. If it were me, I'm much rather have the sandwich! I hope BB will keep trying to add a twist to the "slop" thing... but this season I think they missed.
The idea about a season of first evicted would only work if every one of them agreed to come back (the numbers) though I think it's a great idea... BB would probably have to go with "first 2 evicted"... Hey...either way we'd get Brian from BB10 back and I think we'd all love to see that!
Well... off to another day at the salt mines... see ya for finale Tuesday night... Go Jordy!
Posted by: Dixie at September 14, 2009 06:33 AM
Yikes, can't believe Tuesday and the end of another season is tomorrow already! Seems it was just July!
Show was good last night, though they left out Laura and Braden. Not that they did anything spectacular, but deserved a minute or so. At the very least, the beaner comment should have surfaced. The Jessie funeral was great, but not as great as watching it on the feeds live and going "shit, I hope HD is catching this!"
My favorite was seeing that bitch get the boot! I could watch that over and over again and never tire of it! Seeing Jessie get axed was also great again, but surely could do without the exhibition he always has to put on with that gross body of his! Two time loser and sure hope to never have to see his face again! There was nothing enjoyable about Ronnie, he is such a worm, could have done without that.
Favorite player you ask? It was Michele, though didn't understand a lot of her game.
Won't deny I liked the J&J duo, but it comes from being the underdogs. Always a sucker for the underdogs. However their rise to power came and went with a thud and lost all respect for Jeff in his trust of Gnat! If you just payed attention to something besides Jordos boobs Jeff, you would have noticed Gnat couldn't stand you right up until the point when you had her ass in your pocket. But blinded by boobs and power, is what did you in. Not to say you weren't something to look at. Hands down you were the best looking HG this season!
Besides the very game, coming to SH is one of my favorite past times. There certainly was some well known posters absent this year or barely heard from, Andrew, Claypo, the dreaded Drats, BenF, Kimberly and Grog to name a few. I can only hope that they have been busy and not that they have completed the 12 step program to rid themselves of this addiction! Do always enjoy the ranting and raving of so many of you, Sleepy, alau, verity, the Colleens, Betty, xtex, and dear Gregor. But so many new faces on board and enjoyed reading all. I hope to see everyone back with BB12. I know I'll be here with bells on! I do hope we have a more 'back to basic' cast with out them having aspirations of a TV career after the game.
And on that note, I can't leave without saying one more time, shut up and go away gnat!

My list of wants for the future on BB........no more slop or crazy concotions we vote on that no one wants to eat anyway. Bring the coup d'etat back again....that was a great moment. Now if we could go back and find that Jeff and Jordan didn't have to turn in to mindless, egotistical idiots once they did get power, it would have worked out even better. I absolutely loved them until they got so mean spirited and careless with their real friends in the house. Guess it wasn't a total loss of a season, there were some good moments provided such as the widows Godderz, Chima being Chima, Russel as Russel (who I loved), and Ronnie's crying skills with the sobbing and yet no tears, as well as Casey who I wanted to hang around to get to know........but ending up with this final 3 is certainly not one of my favorite dreams.Big Brother can do better than what they picked up for hamsters this year. Please, please, please let Natalie get the boot first tomorrow night.... can't stand the thought of her winning anything. And then I really don't care, voted for Jordan to win over Kevin but it doesn't really matter to me either way. But then I also voted for Michele to get the $25,000 and we all know that is going right into Jeff's pocket.......and I guess that's OK also. That's what I don't like.. not caring..but that is what Big Brother left us with this year. Thanks to you HD, and all your wonderful work on here this year. You have truly the best and most informative site on BB. Maybe I feel that way because we think alike...LOL! Thanks for everything, see you next season.

Hello everybody,
As for my favorite competition The Rave was, hands down, my favorite one. I loved the costumes and the set.
Have and have not has just gotten too ridiculous for me. We know the cold showers kept Gnat from cleaning herself up and I suspect they are also the reason that Michele was smelly. It wasn't fair for Michele to be a have not for most of the season, and I think there should be a limit on how long one person is a have not. Also, the voting for extra foods for the havenotters was just lame. They need to stick with PBJ and slop. If BB needs an America's vote, then we should be allowed to select a house guest weekly for PBJ/slop. The havenot room and beds are a waste of space IMHO.
To me, this was the best BB season ever.
I enjoyed the fighting, plotting, crying, lying, and whatever happened under Jessie's tent.
The funniest parts were Jessie's posing, Ronnie's space princess costume, the pratfalls, Casey's cigarette sucking, the funeral, and I could go on and on.
Jeff and Jordan's interaction was so entertaining as was Kevin's diary room sessions and eyerolling. The comments he made when Jeff was hosing the garden were hysterical. That guy needs to get a TV show of his own, and so do Jeff and Jordan.
I am praying for Jordan to win the last part of HOH so she is assured of safety. Kevin is not trustworthy and if he is planning to kick Natalie to the curb, he had better not tell her ahead of time.
As an afterthought, I've begun watching BB1 on youtube. It's fascinating to see all the changes since that first year. Wouldn't it be cool for CBS to do a "Where Are They Now" type of show or series of shows going back to the beginning of BB America?
Talk to you tomorrow, guys,
Betty
Posted by: Betty at September 14, 2009 06:56 AM
I would love to see have nots be maids and butlers to HOH. Now that would make them grumpy. hehehe
I really try not to be evil. I really really do. (they dont call me dark for nuttin hunny)

I think it'd be interesting if they have nots were Survivor style--where they were secluded for a couple of days, or even just 24 hours. It'd be interesting how that would change the dynamics if 2-4 people were locked up separately together in one part of the house and didn't know what was happening in the house.
Posted by: Lynn at September 14, 2009 07:11 AM
Lin - We have seen Jessie's eviction I don't know how many times and my husband and I still can't figure out what he says! Hope someone else let's us know.
My all time favorite part of this season was watching Kevin drool over Jeff the garden boy! So hilarious! His diary room interviews are always hilarious! Chima's eviction was a hit too and I never get tired of watching it! However, I think I puke a little everytime I see the mourning ceremony for Jessie! Ridiculous! So pathetic! I hope those girls watch it when they get home and realize how stupid it made them look! Luckily for DVR, I got to fast forward past the funeral! Oh, and Lydia watching Jessie sleep! That was so weird! It gave me the eeby-jeebies!!
Everyone keeps saying that Kevin should take Natalie to the final 2 if he wants to win. But the HGs don't know that the jury house has turned on Natalie (or at least that's what the jury house says now, but who knows how they really feel), so he still believes it would be the wrong decision.

Thanks HD for this blog & for all of your insightful (and very funny!) comments. This is my first year posting, although I've been lurking for years. :)
I re-wound and re-watched Chima's eviction about 5 times last night. It was, for me,the best part of the whole season. Stupid diva. I laughed out loud at the Jeff/Jordan animal conversation. One that I wish they had shown though was from early in the season, when Jeff was trying to teach Jordan how to tell time.
I agree that Casey's parting words at his eviction would have been great to see once more. Kevins's DR clips plus his facial expressions at the "funeral" were great.
I didn't like the Have Nots situation, nor the voting for (more) wretched food. Bring back the PB&J.
I also like the idea of a season of first-evictees. Or how about making it a mid-season show so we don't have to wait so long? Start it in January and give AI some competition.
Oh, one more thought. Last week, at the office I voted overwhelmingly for Jordan. Then yesterday I was watching BBAD, the 9/13 episode...the 3 were chatting by the hot tub and Jordan had the worst case of diarrhea of the mouth I've ever witnessed. She was telling the others absolutely EVERYTHING about all of hers & Jeff's game play since the beginning. K/J were lapping it up and asking many questions. What the hell? As I've said before, Jordan is sweet & cute...but way dumber than a stone. I now think that Kevin should win the 500K. I walked into my home office after that and I voted overwhelmingly for Kevin. I think he had little choice but to align with the wretches that he ended up with in the beginning...an given no cliques, would have made wiser choices in friends. Just my humble opinion.
Thanks again HD. I'm proud of myself for jumping in this year! I can't wait until tomorrow!

hamster dame: thank you for all you do
About the recap show on Sunday: I never saw anything about the party Casey won for them.....why not? I thought showing Chima was a waste of time...why weren't Braden or Laura shown? I know they left early in the game, but I would have preferred seeing them rather than Chima.
Posted by: ohjoan at September 14, 2009 07:52 AM
I wish they would have showed the Man in a Banana suit song in it's entirety. It was hiliarous!
Posted by: Tricia at September 14, 2009 08:32 AM
I like the Maid/Butler idea! Have them cook and clean...-that house is always a pit!! I'm ok with slop, seeing as it is just oatmeal, but give them some fruit or something instead of scarey squid!
I'm still on the bandwagon that there needs to be some incentive for players to not throw the first 9/10ths of the competitions and then win....like they have to have a win to advance, or accumulate points to compete in HOH's or POV's...I don't have the answer myself, but it just bugs me seeing Gnats slip on through to the end by playing it safe.
Can't wait for Tues...but I also soooo nervous! I'm for anyone but the Gnasty. Jordon's sweetness makes me want the money for her, but Kevin did play a better game - and make an effort to win comps.
I hope I do see more Casey, Michele, Russell, Jeff, Jordon and Kevinand even Lydia! Thanks again HD!

I loved the show last night. DH and I literally laughed out loud at Jordan and Jeff discussing what they would "come back as" absolutely so innocent and funny. How can you not like those two?
Kevin and the garden, HYSTERICAL. Had to wonder though what did his partner think of his drooling over Jeff?
And............ ponder this.
Jeff and his reaction to " Well I'm engaged" was bascially the same reaction to Natalie when she REALLY was engaged. So weird........
Sooooooo does this site change over for Survivor? If so, can someone direct me to the link?
I can tell Survivor is going to be killer this year.
I really hope ole Jordan takes home the money!
GO JORDAN!!!

I just finished watching last night's show. I'd forgotten how much I disliked Ronnie...he and Gnat run neck and neck for title of "most disliked hamster" for me.
Didn't need a repeat of CrazyChima...her problems go well beyond being a diva.
Actually, I'm glad this season is coming to end. Though I will miss all of you (hoping many of you are in chat for Survivor).
Thanks HD for a great blog.

The show was good but it would have been fun to see things we hadn't seen before.
It was truly gross to see Chima drooling over Russell, yuk. She got more airtime last night than she deserved. It's weird because at the beginning of the season I kept saying, "Is Kevin even in the house?" Hate to say it but it's nice to see a floater rise to the top for once. J/J were so cute throughout except for their brain farting from the LML. Russell's rants were really just game play and made for good tv. Really having Jesse return this season had a big impact on the entire game. I wonder what Brian, Jessica or Cowboy would have done, hopefully we will never know!

This year, everyone seems to be on page as to their favorites, etc. There may have been lots of dissension in the house, but the rest of us knew what we wanted to happen and who we liked. I didn't like the have/havenots and don't believe we should starve the hampsters. Hope they come up with something else - - cold showers, etc. are okay. Save the starvation for Survivor. Enjoyed the show - it's become another fun part of summer!

Having been raised to bury my feelings, having gone through therapy and knowing how difficult it is for a guy to let his feelings out, I can only say this:
HD - it takes a man to cry!
Posted by: TimBuck2 at September 14, 2009 09:28 AM
One of my comments was going to be please don't bring back any former HG's, but then I read the comment about bringing back the first evicted. That would be okay. But, other than that, no former HG's!!
I never voted for the Have Not food choices but it was a change from PB&J and slop, so I thought it was okay.
I had forgotten about "Jeff the pool boy" so I really enjoyed that segment. I could have done without seeing Jessie make an ass of himself again. I missed the "fast forward" episode this year, but seeing Chima get booted more than made up for it.
Finally, for all of you Natalie haters, I have it on good authority that she won't win. At the beginning of the season, I read the bios and listened to the pre-season interviews and I picked Nat to win. Never, in 10 seasons, have I picked a winner, so not to worry, she doesn't have a chance!

Random season memories: (tried to make some sense of order, but gave up)...
The three witches at the wake for Jessie...
Natalie, Jordan, and Kevin attempting to cook (or poison each other)...
Ronnie and Russell playing victim and bully...
Lydia "not" slurring her words...
Natalie and the dragonfly...
Chima tossing her mic in the pool...
Michele and Russell talking about themselves in HOH room...
Kevin's DR anytime...
Casey's humor anytime - especially calling Nat a pit bull...
Feeling so sad when Michele did...they were so mean to her...
Even though they weren't my favorite houseguests, I thought Jordan and Jeff were hilarious! What a comedy act. From the telling time to what animal would you like to be. They reminded me of an old movie when people used to flirt instead of instant sex. Would love to see them on Amazing Race, just not sure they could manage the brains part of it.
Loved Michele, Casey, Russell...hated Natalie, Jessie, Shima, and mostly Ronnie, who gave me the creeps.
Would like to eliminate the food thing as I feel it is an advantage or disadvantage to peoples' digestive systems. I like the idea of have-not but think it should be rethought. Do not like Americas' choice things unless the game becomes too one-sided like it did earlier this year.
Think they should come up with more creative competitions for the ones that aren't extravaganzas. Replace some of those questions that they all study for and expect.

Chima's exit was the best moment in BB history!
Posted by: Mick at September 14, 2009 09:41 AM
Best bits for me on Sunday night's Season Recap: the duo-DR session with J/J... they're such a cute couple! Chima's expulsion. Kevin's DRs and the faces he made after Jesse's eviction/the Funeral.
Worst bits: the Widowz Godderz.
Missing? I agree with the other posters -- not enough Braden and Laura (or as I like to call her, "Boobie McBooberson"). They may have only been in the House for a max of 2 weeks, but they were still part of the game.

I enjoyed the show for the most part. I thought they would have shown somethings that none of us have seen like when Gnat fell in the pool fully dressed right before the live show because she was running away from a bug. I remember when the feeds came back she was dripping wet and HG's were saying "she pulled a Jerry". Otherwise Most of it was pretty funny. I agree with everyone that the Have-Have nots was lame. They need to do something better next season. I also would have liked to see Braden, I thought he was a really funny HG. So now all I can hope is who ever wins the final HOH they don't take Gnat and she walks out pissed and I don't really care who gets the big bucks or second place as long as it's NOT Gnat. Can't wait for Tuesday.

I thought last night's highlight show was entertaining. My favorite parts were seeing the BananaMan, again, as well as Chima expulsion. As for 'never before seen footage' ... that must have happened during the two seconds I looked away.
I didn't like the have/have not thing this year. I especially didn't like them having to sleep on a hard steel platform. And I'm getting a little tired of the slop thing. I wish BB would come up with something new.
I do like America's participation, and wish BB would increase our opportunities. It was great the year that Eric Stein was America's Player, because America got to play!!! I felt sorry for Eric, though, because several times America voted in a way that hurt his game. What if America got to vote in each week's eviction. Then if a vote was 'wonky', the players wouldn't know if there was a renegade in their group or if America threw in that vote.
And ... one last thought ... have you noticed how the players keep saying that BB has been on for 11 years? It's really just been 10 years. The year that the writer's were on strike, BB was on twice. Not to wish bad luck on anyone, but it would be nice if the writer's would go on strike again so we could have more BB.

As HOH in my own home, I have a special power that I would like to see implemented on BB - Time Out!
When one of my hamsters misbehaves, they are banished to another room (a la Exile Island on Survivor!) for an appropriate amount of time. I think it would be awesome to allow or require the HOH to send someone to Time Out to remove them from the current situation.
I don't think that the Have/Not and Food competitions bring anything to the party.
The folks who lose competitions are going to lose, and just making them miserable does nothing except put them at a further disadvantage. In my opinion, having the winners on slop (and the floor and in cold showers) just strengthens the already strong players and makes the weaker ones even less likely to win.
Thanks, HD for the joy you bring all of us. I'll miss you until BB12. It's a shame we can't get you back again on sillyreality.
Hugs,
Lady Steele

TimBuck2 - while I agree that real men do cry... RonnieRat later told others that his crying was an "act" to get sympathy. so... he still ain't a real man... not in my book..and I keep the man book... just ask DRATS.

I was thinking last night for some reason that I really would like to see a reality show about Jeff and Jordon. I think I would actually watch if they did a show about Jeff and Jordon getting together and see where it goes. I was wondering if anyone else would watch it? I really think from watching BBAD that Kevin is taking Jordon. He seems to really be worried that Jordon might not take him. He should worry, because I wonder what she will do too. I hope and pray she doesn't take gnat if she whens. Can't wait to find out.

Hey CBS if you are reading....
How about BB 12 HGs being the 11 BB prior winners.
And for the extra HGs that you need after the 12 prior winners, America Votes on who else.
OR
Have it where the 11 prior 2nd place BB HGs are the BB12 HGs (instead of the winners).
And for whomever doesnt want to do it again or if you need more HGs, America Votes from ALL the past BB HGs.
Either one of those ideas would make for a GREAT season.
Come on, CBS!!
I know you read this.........

HD, really enjoy coming to your site everyday, I am going to miss BB, and your site. I enjoyed the show last night, watching Chima, Lydia and Gnat going about Jessie was to funny, I remember watching it on the feeds and thought how sick these people are. (hope Jessie sees it when he come out of the house)Kevin was to funny rolling his eyes and his DR had me laughing so hard. Chima being expelled was great too.
It is really to bad they did not show Gnat for the nasty little pitbull she was on the show, glad they showed her and the dragon file that was to funny.
All the things they showed on Jeff and Jordan were sweet America's sweethearts. Ronnie crying like a girl well glad they showed that what a baby.
Overall it was a pretty good season except for the BB giving Chima, Lydia, and Gnat procduct for bad behaviour and them letting Kevin and Gnat cheat on the log comp.
Posted by: simplycountry at September 14, 2009 01:29 PM
someone way up there asked where Gnat's mother was - that she talks about dad and boyfriend. one of the only times she revealed a piece of herself was getting her letter. she grew up without a mother, her father raised her as a single parent. don't think she has siblings. never said why or where or what happened to her mother.
glad show is over. addiction is not good. as long as gnat doesn't win it will be a successful fun season. and little to no xxx which is kinda shocking.

I am so sad it's over with. BB is one of my favorite shows of all times. With it's ups and downs, and my likes and dislikes of the houseguests. It is a great roller coaster ride.
Thank you HD for your blog so that we who love the show have somewhere to come to share our feelings and to get info.
Tonights show will be bittersweet because we all will have to wait till next summer to come together again.
Hey, CBS why don't you give us another BB this winter :)
Rooting for Jordan to win and to take Kevin.

I am very curious about the lack of reference to Laura and Braden. The other day, Kevin was commenting on the feeds about how they weren't asked any questions about Laura and Braden (in the diary room? in the competition?) I wonder. Did they, perhaps, decide not to sign their post-show publicity waivers and opted out of the gig? Maybe they won't be returning to the live show. I guess we'll know tomorrow!
I'm going to miss everyone. Sorry I wasn't as active this year as in seasons past; I had some family issues that distracted me. But I'm already counting the days until next season. Survivor will be fun, but its not nearly the immersable experience that Big Brother is. Hey Real Player - - can't you get live feeds in Samoa??? Oh, but that's right - Survivor is taped in advance. Bummer.
As always, Hamster Dame, you rock. Well-written, funny and though we don't always agree (we mostly agreed this season, however), I love hearing your well-reasoned bits. You're my home page for a few months every year.
And thanks, too, Gregor for your assistance!
Gotta go pick up my son from school . . . he's rooting for Kevin. I'm rooting for anyone other than Natalie!
From HD - Feel free to jump in the chat room on Survivor nights where we'll be talking about the show while it's on.

I suggest that the favorites from BB season 1-12 go on Survivor and the best from Survivor go on Big Brother. I think it would be fun to see Janelle and Mike Boogie in the wild. I think the way they would form alliances would be totally different. Also, Rupert would have to align with some of the evil from Survivor!
Just an idea. They would have the summer wrapped up. Each could take two to three nights a piece.

I'd like them to do away with the entire concept of slop and/or disgusting food. It reminds me too much of "Fear Factor". Being locked in the house all summer would seem to be enough to make them all feel uncomfortable.
Too bad Laura wasn't on the clip show. I missed her, both of her.
Although I'm not a big Kevin fan, he really did have some funny comments on the other HG's and he showed a pretty good sense of humor.
Taking stock of the entire cast, I really despised Ronnie, Chima and Natalie, and disliked Lydia and Jessie. Sadly most of those I liked (Casey, Laura, Braden) got evicted much too quickly.
I wonder as he sits in the isolation of the house if Kevin has any kind of read on the jury house. I'll be thoroughly disgusted if he wins HOH and takes Natalie with him.

Powercatgirl85: Let me clarify my statement about the Final 3. While I don't think they are the best players(Jeff,Russ,Michele are my picks) what I mean is, if the are the ones left, they played the odds and others in the the game the best to be where they are now.
Posted by: KImG at September 14, 2009 03:51 PM
A look back....just finished watching the special..
Banana Man, Smoke em if you got em, Casey was funny; I feel he left the house way too early! Margarita's anyone??
Ronnie, no comment, WEASEL, fake crier.
Kevin was the best in the DR Sessions, wish he would have actually followed thru with his rantings....Love the Kevinisms, "OMG, Biznatch, Oh Hells No, Redonkulus, Dumbbitch-itus, Pullleaasse"
Loved Russell's shadowing, antagonizing on Ronnie, oh how I miss his Russell's sexiness. Morning Ratty, Ratty, Ratty Tat, Tat....
Loved the banter between Jeff & Chima on Coup d'Etat eviction night...You made a deal with the devil...come on! Jeff to Chima: "You don't control anything, Chima just so you know"
Jessie, OH Jessie cant stand the boy. Bed Scene..does anyone really care Jessie, so full of himself. The Jessie eulogy scene was the ultimate, The Man, The Myth, the Legend, pleaaaaaassssseee? Chima, "He was so good to me, really, remember he wanted to put me up, he did, but you know what I mean"...Holly Smolly...loved Kevin's reactions, OMG..priceless.
J/J Scenes, "JORDAFF", loved that we got to see the joint DR room finally! Loved their odd conversations & comments throughout the season, "Gonna get you a diamond grill!" "Shut Up" "BFF's" "Let's get friendship bracelets" "Oh Lordy, Jeff's Horny".
My favorite all time J/J Scene....Jordan: I don't know how to tell time, like if people say quarter till; I'm always like, what time is that? Jeff: How many quarters in an hour? Jordan: 25?., oh 4 Jeff: How long are each quarter? Jordan: 25, Jeff: NO..how many minutes in an hour? Jordan: 60, Jeff: Now divide that by 4 Jordan: 60 divided by 4? Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock...25? Jeff: 25, that's 100. Jordan: Wait hang on, shut up, 4/60 so 1 time, Jeff: What's half of 60? Jordan: 30 Jeff: What's half of 30? Jordan: 15, Jeff: Ok, how many quarters in an hour? Jordan: Shut up... 45?..Jeff: Joooordan....I immediately went and asked my kid if they knew what time quarter till was..they did! Sorry but that scene cracks me up...pretty scary actually.
Garden Boy, my ultimate fav clip of the season! Porno music and all!
GNAT bug obsession..my second fav clip of the season...Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, Kevvviiiiiinn, Ohhhhhhhhh Nooooooooooo
Chima's departure, actually this was my ultimate, favorite part of the season, hands down. Spoiled Diva, PERIOD. No need to sit down.....
Lydia, oh Lydia, I have/had very mixed feelings for the gal, liked and hated her. Baby Unicorns, Um, Um.. "Eyem not shlurrring my werds"
Didn't like the 3 remaining HG walk down memory lane, just show all clips next time, wasted time that could have been better utilized. So scripted...but I guess it was just like the Survivor trip down memory lane honoring all the tribe members. Wish they would bring back PB&J.
Looking forward to the 2 hour finale, oh how tomorrow is going to drag on & on...please, BB Gods, don't let GNAT be in the final 2..GO JORDAN!

First of all, I really enjoed the show last night except we had already seen all the clips that they showed. I originally thought that I had just seen them on the live feeds but then I remebered that I haven't seen the feeds for a month. I could relive Chimapet being booted everyday and not be bored... Love the faces that Kevin does and the J/J segments. I just wish that they didn't let the HOH go to their heads.
The only clip of Jessie I loved was the one he was talking to Lydia and Gnat after they had fallen asleep. Butterfly, are you kidding me.
Hated the have/have not portion.. Hate the slop, bring back pbj sandwiches or if they are allergic then slop. Wish there was a way that everyone played full out for all the comps not just the ones they think are important. And if they don't play full out then they are evicted. Please BB don't bring back former HG.
Last but not least: THANK YOU HD for all your hard work (and you too gregor). I have loved the blog, live-blogging and chat.. At least that is my opinion... Even tho watching and chating can be a challenge. LOL
And to all the posters, all the talk , calling out and bitching is what makes BB and Sillyhamsters more fun!!! At least that is my opinion...I am so glad the BB will be back with #12 season. See you all on Tuesday>>>

I enjoyed the ReCap Show but even though I enjoyed revisiting clips we had already seen like the Coup D' Etat , Chima's eviction, Ronnie's Stalking by Russell,Jessie's wake, J/J animal conversation, and Jeff the Gardener, I would have liked to see more untelevised moments. I did enjoy Jessie going on and on about himself while both girls were sleeping ( What a Moroon)and then Michele's sleep talking. They should have done more of that. I also wanted to see Casey's Banana Song and Laura's talking down to Jessie in the HOH Room.
I too am sick of the Slop and Have Not part of the show. I liked it better before when they had to play together as a team to earn their food for the week. That helps build bonds and all are on the same footing so there isn't an unfair advantage among players.Another thing, retire the leotard already.
I like the idea of a cast of the first 2 evicted , they could maybe expand it to the ones that didn't make it to the Jury and have America vote on half of them that get in.That way BB could pick some losers( like Ronnie) that we despise, and we could pick our favorites ( like for me- Brian, Steven,Casey, Laura, )
I also like the idea of some sort of Exile Island and the Maid/Butler idea.Could you picture Jessie, Chima, or Gnat serving others? LOL
Keeping the first ones evicted in Sequester is a good idea too. Then Production wouldn't have to give in to the extortion of HG like this season.
This has been an interesting Roller Coaster of a Season and it is similar to Season 6, I just hope it isn't a total bust and Jordan makes it to the F2 and hopefully wins the whole thing. Then do a Special on Jeff and Jordan Go To Hawaii, like Rob and Amber's Wedding.
Thanks again HD and fellow posters. It's been interesting!

Looking, with some misgivings, forward to the show tomorrow night. Just hoping that Jordo and Kevin are final two. I want to see Ratalie realize that her chance at half a mil is OVER AND OUT..just can't stand her and want to see her SUFFER!!!
Show last night was OK..some parts fun and others a waste of time. Did love Kevin's DR and the "garden boy" bits. Jeff could water my garden anytime, too. Best part was Chima's eviction..it's my all time fav now. Don't want to ever see Ronnie or Jessie again. Russell and Michelle, I liked. Voting for food, I thought stupid. BB needs to come up with some new and DIFFERENT competitions so that no one knows what to expect.
HD, and all you other friends, looking forward to seeing you all here next year. Grog and DRATS, I really hope to hear from you guys..I missed you bunches!

I have to say, my favourite moment was Chima getting the boot! It wasn't so much that she GOT kicked out (although her laugh was like listening to nails on a chalkboard with a bad hangover) but what was said with it. "No need to sit down." That was beyond awesome! I'm never ever going to forget how incredibly cool it was to watch that!
Jessie getting evicted AGAIN because of what America had to say, was also classic. I mean, we couldn't force Jeff to use the Coup d'Etat, but the fact he DID, and put Jessie on the block, and Jessie went home, was sheer pleasure for all of us who weren't fans of his, or his pecks!
At the beginning, I thought this was going to be a very boring season, but it definitely picked up for the better!
