Ronnie 'The Rat' Wins HOH

Was last night a dream? Did it really happen? Ronnie 'The Rat' is the new Head of Household? I want to vomit every time I think about it.

The show itself was rather ho-hum until it came time for Braden and Chima to plead their cases to their fellow houseguests before the voting took place. Braden sounded sincere while Chima was just plain pitiful. The diva needed her drama queen moment and she got it. She reminded everybody of Braden's calling Kevin a beaner and Julie Chen a whore.

I can't believe that Chima actually thought that CBS would let that get through. She must have forgotten that just because it's a live show doesn't mean that there's not a delay. After being called to the diary room last night, Chima informed some of the others that Big Brother told her it was bleeped out for the show. And she was upset about that! That girl really needs to check herself.

After Jessie broke the 5-5 tie and voted Braden out, it was time for the HOH competition. I was hoping (like many of you) that another one of the athletes wouldn't win it. I also didn't want Ronnie to win it. But lo and behold, The Rat pulled it out. Nooooo!!!!! A lot of people are blaming Casey for not getting Ronnie out. If you'll remember, Casey finished out the athletes clique by getting rid of Jeff rather than eliminating Ronnie or Jordan.

I completely understand why he did it. If Jeff had gone on to win the HOH competition, Russell, Natalie, or Jessie wouldn't be able to be nominated this week. So Casey took a chance and it wound up not working out - at least not for everybody who didn't want Ronnie to go on and win Head of Household.

When the feeds came back on after the show, it was ear-splitting. That's because Natalie and Chima were screaming at Michele in front of everybody. And when I say screaming I mean screaming. They were going on and on about Michele voting to keep Braden instead of her own clique-mate. Chima and Michele eventually hugged and made up but Natalie 'The Gnat' was still going on about it to anybody that would listen.

One good thing that happened on the feeds last night is that both sides realized it was Ronnie who's been playing the mole role. Jessie and his bunch realized it in the recycling room but decided for now to let it slide because Ronnie's helping them out. They just know now they might need to watch what they say in front of him. Laura and Jordan figured The Rat out on their end and let the word spread. Hell, Ronnie even told Laura and Jeff later in the HOH room that there was a rat in the house and they need to figure out who it would be. Haha! Of course, they didn't let Ronnie know that they (and the rest of the house) were on to him.

In a perfect world, I would love to see everybody in the house turn their back on Ronnie. I wonder who Ronnie would put on the block if he had no alliances in the house and they all hated him. I can dream I guess.

Ronnie got his HOH room last night and what was in his HOH basket was hilarious! Among other things, he got a bubble wand, a CD of the soundtrack to Legally Blonde (the movie instead of the musical like he'd wanted), a letter from his wife, some hot dog sauce (yes you read that correctly), some Smirnoff Ice, and Play-Doh. Oops, Big Brother wants him to call it modeling clay due to trademark issues. The look of glee that went over his face was shocking. He even tweeted about his excitement later on with this little gem, "When I get out of the Diary Room I am going straight to my HoH room to play games with my modeling clay!"

Yeah, that's pretty sad isn't it? What a week it's going to be. Especially with Natalie following Lydia and Jessie everywhere. Speaking of, Natalie is asleep on the floor right below where Jessie and Lydia are bunked up. I guess she doesn't want to miss Jessie's massaging later.

Remember what Julie Chen said about Dan, the winner of Big Brother 10, surprising the houseguests for Sunday's show? I'm betting he'll have something to do with the Have and Have Nots competition that will be held today. I can't wait to find out who the next inhabitants of the steel cage are going to be. Please let it be the athletes! Also, nominations will occur later this afternoon. I believe Ronnie will probably nominate Laura and Casey.

What did you think about the first live show of the season last night? What are your thoughts about how things are going in the house? Who do you want to lose the Have and Have Nots competition and who do you think Ronnie will nominate for eviction? I can't wait to read your comments! Also check out an interview with Julie Chen here and watch Julie Chen's interview with Braden on The Early Show this morning below!

As soon as Casey is on the block I hope Ronnie gets the MingleMixx treatment. A thorough tounguelashing. I just know Caseys got it in him. I hope MM realizes that Ronnie can't break a tie this week & calls him out REPEATEDLY.

What to call the Jordan/Laura half of the house? hmmm...

As long as Ronnie doesn't make it to the jury house, me & BB11 will be just fine. But if I have to see his upside-down mouth for 12 more weeks I might have to take frequent hiatuses.

The Kevin/Lydia side may be overplaying the race-card. A little racial animosity is to be expected, but their morality play in the game right now, making people feel bad about how they voted for a racist, leaves them looking overly emotional. I liked Kev&Lyd before, but the fondness has withered & now all I've got is a tatted tart tramping around with the 2 meatheads, flanked by 3 yappity chihuahuas (Kev,Chi,Nat).

apparently there was a delay between the end of the show and the Early Show taping as they had to calm Julie down..she was a true professional continuing as she did given that the studio audience heard all that Chima pet said and someone who was there said that gasps went up all around and Julie was rather shaken...to top it off her husband who is the pres of CBS was in the audience and heard Braden had said this of his wife...I guess Braden can kiss any career goodbye at that point. But then during the interview Julie carved him up and spit him out showing him for the retarded dunce he really is...could be if CBS picked up the whore remark earlier in the week then it was THEIR decision to target Braden and get him out....any thoughts on this theory????

Posted by: B. Christie at July 17, 2009 08:50 AM

I think Ronnie might nominate one from each group to try and convince each group that he's with them. He can explain to each that he hopes the veto will be played and he can get rid of someone else. He's still going to play both sides if at all possible, I think. My list for exile keeps changing, PLEASE get rid of Natalie. She just goes on and on and on and on...doesn't matter who is speaking, she just jumps in and takes over...Save us please..

HD,
i couldnt wait till your post this a.m.!

i am always hoping during the voting that it will get stirred up. stupid ronnie.

i can NOT believe ronnie won HOH. he is such an idiot, why cant he figure that out about himself. lol

wtf was up with chima's speech? our little chenbot handled that one well.

hope this week is interesting.

Loved your comments and descriptions Kevin. I thought Braden wasn't too bright in the BB house, but after than interview with Julie, I began to wonder if he's got enough brain cells to find his way home.

Posted by: bardy at July 17, 2009 09:09 AM

WHY? Why do the BB-Gods torcher us so.
I don't know who the bigger a** is now. Russell or Chima. And Ronnie.... oops, a little throwup just came up my throat.
Never this early in BB have I come to dislike a group of players so quickly. I do think Casey screwed up the HOH. He should have dumped Ronnie. If Jeff wins, he could have put up Chima, or Lydia, or Ronnie. Start thinnig out there click asap. This will be a long boring week for the Nice Guys. One is going home no matter what. HOPEFULLY, one of them can win HOH next Thursday. PLEASE! I can't keep watching the others bully and gloat much longer.

Posted by: jim at July 17, 2009 09:10 AM

I'm sad to see Braden go, just because he seemed interested. Said some bad things, but interesting.

I agree that it'd be great to see the athletes lose the have nots comp, though they have an extra player, so that could be an asset.

I thought about SuzieQ's idea of Ronnie nominating someone from each side. He likes pawns, so maybe he'll even talk to each side about how their person is just the pawn. If he did this, it might be Laura and Natalie (okay, that last one's more wishful thinking). I'm really not sure what he'll do though, as last night he proved that he is smarter than he acts sometimes by not voting out the member of his clique.

Wake up HD! Wake up wake up wake up!

OMG everyone, HD is in the middle of a nightmare and I can't wake her up!!

Oy.

Gosh was I miffed that Ronnie won that HOH last night. I seriously had a 5 minute tantrum in my head that said, "Well that's it for Big Brother this year; because Ratboy will put up Laura and Casey, and then backdoor Jeff, and then that will set off a series of events where all the good people (the ones most people like) will be gone and only the "Icks" will remain and the Icks will think that they are wonderful people and brilliant players and that the whole world loves them because they got rid of horrible bigots and vile misogynists and people who voted to keep horrible bigots and vile misogynists."

Ronnie has delusions of grandeur. Did you hear him say "Dr. Will, who?" LOL. He seriously thinks he is the greatest player the game has ever known. I mean, doesn't he know that Russell is the greatest player the world has ever known!?

I really hate HOH competitions like the one they did last night. They are just so random and stupid. I want to see people work hard for HOH.

I thought the show was decent last night and it kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see who Ronnie would vote for and who would win HOH. But boy do I still want to bite the heads off baby rodents over last night's outcome.

May I now go off and say that it is so so 100% natural that Jessie and Lydia are sorta together. I mean, isn't Lydia a lesbian? (Which would also make Jessie a...) Which also explains her close relationship with the third lesbian in the house, Kevin. Which I guess, makes little tough boy Natalie, their boy hag.

Is Natalie really sleeping on the floor next to J&L?

I can't think of anything else to say how i am feeling right now (which is grumpy and growly and oh so terribly blue that I, that most of us, didn't get our way last night), so I will just say - Try to have a good day everyone. :)

Ben

From HD - I'm awake now! I'm awake! LOL! And yes, Natalie did indeed sleep on the floor next to her bed where Jessie and Lydia were sleeping.

Posted by: BenF at July 17, 2009 09:23 AM

I really liked that Chima said what she said...it was the truth and she used it to her advantage...like Julie Chen said it was one of the most memorable block speeches she's ever heard. I'm not a big fan of Chima but she toned the princess act down and was social after being put on the block and when the time came to say her piece she did. Good for her.

Im so glad the jocks did not get HOH again. I hope they lose food comp and get the doom room.

And Im excited to see who Ronnie will put up...Casey and Laura going up is fine in my book. Let's see how they handle being up on the block. Casey especially. He's been so sage and full of advice, let's see how he handles himself if he gets put up. Let's see how well Laura plays the game (like she's always telling everyone) once she's nominated.

HD your site is the best and please keep on ... I may not always agree with you but always want to know your point of view.

As for the show last night I cannot believe how Chima-pet thinks that CBS should have shown her bullshit rant. Yes, Braden said things that he should not have said in the heat of an argument and we can see from his interview with Julie (that I will address later) that he is not potical correct (or anything political for that matter). But he did apologies and he did seem to mean it. But I think that Chima-pet is just throwing the race card because she has nothing else to throw.

OK now I was really unhappy that Braden was sent home because I wanted Jeff, Casey, Jordan, Michelle, Laura to have the numbers but oh my goodness what a goober was he in that exit interview with Julie. That must have been so awkward for Julie it seemed like she was trying to pull teeth to get him to answer anything on point. Really did he think that Palin was elected as Vice President? Maybe, Jeff and Company should count their blessing and try and move on.

Hopefully Ronnie's big shake up this week will be a Russell backdoor. Gnat is bound to slip up sooner or later. But I do not think that Ronnie would rock the Jessie boat with Gnat.

Last night was very entertaining. I love watching what all the BB11 fans tweet while watching feeds and BBAD. And the replies to Ronnie @BigBrotherHOH had me laughing so hysterically I woke the hubby up (HD had some real zingers!). Some of the nicknames for Ronnie I saw last night were: Darth Ronnie, Lurksalot, King Rat, Ronnie the Rat, and he even referred to himself as the HGIC (Head Geek in Charge). NERD ALERT!

I was reading Joker's Update this morning to see what I had missed and someone typed that Ronnie compared himself to Dr Will!!! OH HELL NO! Dr Will is my fave HG of all time and he has good looks, charisma, personality, charm, sense of humor etc etc ... Ronnie lacks in all of those departments.

From HD - Yeah, I couldn't believe Ronnie actually compared himself to my fabulous Dr. Will. That scoundrel! I'm glad you were loving my tweets last night. I got quite a few compliments on those... haha! I'm not sure what tweeting program you use on your computer (or if you do) but you should check out Seesmic. Just google it to find the link. I think you'd love it.

Posted by: stephie at July 17, 2009 09:37 AM

Early on we decide what tupe of person we want to be, which side of the fence so to speak and I can honestly say I am glad I was never on the Russ/Jessie/Nat mentality fence. What losers, evidently being a bully and loudmouth are live and well...mamas are you proud of your babies today? Game of not, be a human being.

And, why doesn't someone just tell Natalie to shut up, it this your conversation?

Posted by: Lynn at July 17, 2009 09:54 AM

Wow Braden looked like such an idiot in the interview. I don't know uf he was nervous and not listening to her or what, but wow!

Jessie- he is such a jerk that he refused to sleep in the raft room but would kick someone who is injured out of their bed and make them sleep on the floor. Maybe Laura is right what would his mother think?

It will be very intersting to see who Ronnie nominates. If he has any prayer of playing both sides he better not nominate Laura and Casey. It would be great if he would back door one the athletes.

Posted by: kmcford at July 17, 2009 09:55 AM

I was really diappointed in the editing last night. The way they cut the fight up was ridiculous and it made no sense. They should have either left it out or bleeped the parts they didn't want showed so people understood there was more to it. It made no sense and it looked like Kevin and Lydia got mad about nothing. They kept refering to what was said...but never showed it...so how was everyone supposed to know what in the world they were talking about? It was the worst editing I have ever seen. The one positive about what Chima said was that it brought the topic up so the entire show didn't just sweep it under the rug. Even if nobody could hear it, it made the point that stuff was going on that was being hidden from viewers.

I don't hate Ronnie as a person (feel more sad for him), but he is the worst player ever and I don't understand how he thinks he is playing a great game. He would go home this week if he didn't win. Did he not think ahead? Neither side trusts him now. And doesn't he see what a threat jessie/lydia/natalie are to him? He will never be in tight with that group.

By the way, how did jessie get a harem following him like he is a god? Gross.

Posted by: Lisa at July 17, 2009 09:57 AM

Enjoyed last night's show immensely. Ben, I also hate competitions like last night's - so random and requires no skill.

I'm really glad the first week's vote had some suspense and wasn't anonymous like so many seasons.

As Co2Leen says, I'm also no ChimaPet fan, but I loved her speech. I want to see drama and irrational behavior in the BB house and she brings the crazy. Braden's speech was terrible.

I don't find Jeff and Jordan to be "nice" at all. Yes, they are attractive, but Jeff is as much of a meathead as anyone in that house, and he loses his temper any time something doesn't go his way. I really despise people like him who blame their tantrums on someone else "making me lose my temper."

Jordan is almost as dumb as Braden, just shockingly dense. And they throw around the word "fag" like it's totally OK. Jordan's defense of why she uses "gay" and "fag" is absolutely ridiculous. What an idiot!

I wish CBS would address racist, misogynistic, ant-Semitic, and homophobic comments by cast members. The way the show was edited last night made little sense re Braden's fight with Lydia and Kevin.

I get so sick of these morons every year talking about morals and who is "good." This game requires shady behavior. Even choirboy Dan chose to lie and deceive last year to make it more entertaining.

How does anyone believe that Gnat is only 18?!?!?!

Posted by: Charlie Trout at July 17, 2009 10:02 AM

I am awake and still at a loss for words as far as Rodent Ronnie as HOH is concerned. He can call himself HGIC all he wants, but them jocks are gonna have some input into his decision. I hope whatever he plans it blows up in his face.

I am keeping the faith that the nice guys will overcome the numbers. They seem to be a stong group and will stick together. The other side is full of tetosterone (yep even Natalie has some) and they will self explode if given time to do so. They could never be a firm alliance since they all seem to wanna be HGIC.

At least now I will get more of my spring cleaning done since the irritating bunch will be irritating me. LOL.

I am awaiting the nominations today so I can try and see where Ronnie's head is at today.

Does anyone feel that last nights HOH comp was a little off in terms of determining who rang in first? You really coulnd't see the lights and Julie did get it wrong once??? Bet they change that for the future - red lighting would be better.

Posted by: Lynn at July 17, 2009 10:13 AM

Thanks for including the interview from the Earlyshow... it was pretty funny. I think Braden has dabbled in the recreational pharmaceuticals a tad bit too much in his life...

Too bad he had to leave, could have been a fun summer watching his antics along with Casey & Jeff.

I agree with some of the other posts I've read, I can not recall another season of BB where I have disliked such a large group of house guests all at once right up front. Does not bode well for my enjoying the show this summer, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Take care and have a great day,
Matthew

I am so with you HD on wanting to vomit with Rat Ronnie being HOH. He was who I wanted out this week. I absolutely can't stand him or his game play and can't wait for it to backfire in his face. I just hope they don't continue to use him and let him stay...I want him out before the jury house. Right now I can't stand Natalie and Chima the most. I do not like double-standard, complete hypocrit, bullies that think they can scream and threaten all the hg believing that they can do whatever is best for them but no one else can. Natalie is the biggest sour puss I think I've ever seen on the show (well maybe not biggest, but she ranks right up there). Can't stand her! I know they won't be on the block though. I agree that it will most likely be Casey and Laura which saddens me as I like them so much more. Maybe Ronnie would agree to Kevin or Lydia since they are on the fringe of the "power" group. I don't much care for the "do not talk to so and so because they think differently than me" game play either. Not thinking I'm going to like this week so much...just get through it and hope for a massive change in power next week (it happens every year). Fingers crossed!

I am so disappointed
- Braden (although he is brainless) going home
- Ronnie getting HOH

When I woke up this morning I was hoping it was Thursday all over again and we were going to get a redo on yesterday’s show – hopefully getting different results.

From everything I’ve seen thus far I think Ronnie is truly solid on his alliance with the athletes – if nominations are anything different then that I would be shocked.

UGGH…. Ronnie has quickly became my most disliked Hamster… Natalie following right behind in a close second place.

Posted by: stacinorange at July 17, 2009 10:54 AM

HD, thank you for posting that interview! Wow, Mrs. Chen owned that tool. I lover her more every year. Her dress is much better when she's seated.

Braden makes absolutely no sense. He was a horrible choice to be in the house. Jeff is the "strongest speaker" in the house?!?! Bwaaahaaaahaaaahaaa!

Mrs. Chen FTW.

Posted by: Charlie Trout at July 17, 2009 11:05 AM

OMG! That interview with Braden was hard to watch! I'm a fan but, boy oh boy!!!

Posted by: BBfan at July 17, 2009 11:28 AM

I am shaken and stirred, rendered nearly speechless and questioning the existence of my higher power! Damn you Ronnie! May all your WOW accounts be mysteriously deleted and a lightning storm wipe out your computers!

OK... now that that's off my chest, WTH was up with Chima? Didn't she realize that she was saved? Why get in a screaming match, you are still in the house and supposedly still playing the game.

And Charlie... you are confusing ignorance with evil intentions. If you want to hate the fact that our society is accepting of the term "fag" as a casual joke then rail against that, but let's leave the race issue out of the BB game please!

Posted by: Gregor at July 17, 2009 11:47 AM

I personally think everyone on the show behind the scenes wanted Braeden out!!! I thought he was a good interviewer, and kept true to himself!!!
But then again if he did say what he said about Julie, I can see why a husband would want to protect her!!
Anyway,I unfortunately, think all the people I dislike are going to be left at the end! IE Jessie, Russell, and Natalie

Posted by: Starla at July 17, 2009 12:14 PM

The only real danger is a boring season, and, so far, all systems go. I love Ronnie, and Ithink he's exactly like Dr. Will, just not as witty. And, let's face it, the nerds never get any love.
I also enjoy Jordan, ditzy as can be, and Jeff is another Dan, must be that midwest thing.

Posted by: ElyTheEel at July 17, 2009 12:26 PM

What a crazy show last night. I cannot believe it had only been a week. I have never seen the house s divided on the 1st week. I have never disliked so many house guest by the 1st week either. You know what bother me about the Lydia Brayden and Kevin fight, is that bb thinks its ok to say the b word. But its not ok to say racist and gay words. It seems to be a double standard. I don't think its ok to call women bs. I think they should bleep out those words to.
Ronnie will be unbearable to watch this week. He keep saying how smart he is, but will he be smart enough to get out an athlete. This will be interesting.
I am also so done with Lydia her whole attack on Jordon was so stupid and uncalled for. It made no sense. I can't believe she is hooking up with Jessie. That gives me the heebie Jeebies.
Lets hope fr good things this week.

Posted by: Crystal at July 17, 2009 12:44 PM

Holy smokes!!! Really?

Hate Ronnie. I was in such a bad mood after the show last night that I had to go up to bed so my family didn't suffer. ;-)

Thank you for posting that interview. What a dumb*ss he is - I was embarrassed for him. Julie for the win, indeed!

Let the games continue! I can't wait for the feeds to come back up. :D

Seriously if Ronnie does put up athletes he is a complete DA.. With his imaginary wonderful gaming skills, he sure sucks...
used to like Lydia not so much anymore....Russell complete idiot, I think he thinks he can play like Evil. (not)Natalie she needs to go and well Chima zero class
If there are gods in the sky please let Ronnie do something smart

Posted by: D'dee at July 17, 2009 01:17 PM

I wish BB would stop these type of HOH competitions. Give us some real endurance comps (not just at the end of the show), not needing physical prowess but just the guts to hang in there FOREVER..get creative and do away with the phonebooth deals..and as far as some of these competitors go-"Ignorance is curable but stupidity is FOREVER"!!

Posted by: SuZieQ at July 17, 2009 01:30 PM

Gregor - I realize that JeffDoll and Jordan are merely ignorant and don't necessarily have evil intentions. I don't think *anyone* in the house is actually evil. Well, maybe Gnat. But ignorance is not an excuse for continued reprehensible behavior. Michele asked Jordan not to use a slur and Jordan's defense of using the offensive terms is that she just always uses those terms. That kind of stupidity just makes me seethe, and Silly Hamsters is my only forum to vent.

My reason for thinking Jordan and Jeff are not "nice" and not this season's "good people" is that they scheme and talk shit about others just as much as anyone else in the house. Now they're pouting and JeffDoll is acting out because things are not currently going their way.

Like it or not, the race issue is already in the BB game...as it seems to be every season.

I will step away from my high horse and continue enjoying BB for the trashy fun it is, and appreciating HDame's awesomeness. I am grateful for the dramatical first week, ChimaPet's awesomely idiotic speech, and the overall ridiculous behavior displayed by so many of this season's hamsters thus far.

He's still that nerd from high school that wants everyone including the jocks to like him but he's only ever going to be their "towel boy"

Also can someone please call out natalie's age already!?!

I know what you mean. I had a little vomit come up last night and had to shut of the TV when the dork won

Posted by: Steven @ Syracuse at July 17, 2009 01:54 PM

As a retired high school teacher I shuddered when the clique twist was announced. It seemed the most unfair way to start off the season. My many years of witnessing the bullying and harassment suffered by the brains and the offbeats perpetrated by the populars and athletes in every high school I taught in during 3 decades, led me to immediately favor the brains and offbeats in the house rather than allowing each person to establish who he/she was through their actions and words. However, in this house because of the nature of the game I have come to strongly dislike members from every single group, as well as like at least one member of each group. Ronnie is a huge disappointment for me...I just can't stand his tactics thus far. Chima was so arrogant and disgusting with her remarks, I can't stand looking at her any more. Surely, if she is so intelligent and good with words, she could have come up with a diplomatic way of getting her points across without being so crude and rude. Right now, I can't stomach Russell, Jessie, Natalie, Chima, Lydia, Kevin and Ronnie. The rest of them are somewhat bearable. My favorite houseguest is Michelle. Jordan is so lacking in intelligence that it's hard to believe she is for real. Laura has grown on me a bit. I don't know what the fuss is about Jeff...don't think he has such a great personality. Casey doesn't seem so bad to me considering he has to deal with so many younger characters and that takes a certain skill. I hope Dan is not just visiting for one of the comps, but can stay awhile to shake up some of the players who think they've got it made. And my American friends, that is my Canadian perspective. Ciao for now.

Posted by: sprite1949 at July 17, 2009 01:57 PM

It seems we've all forgotten the rants by Ollie last season... didn't I hear him scream at Memphis... "Faggot! Faggot!" about a dozen times... all the while throwing giant suckers around the house... How soon we forget... Braden did what every person with any prejustice does in the house- when provoked... they start using racial, religious (Jerry-Judas) and homophobe slurs... You don't have to be a blue-eyed white boy to be prejustice... Chima's rant about "if you vote for Braden to stay then you are a racist" was just as prejusticed as Bradens rants. My grandmother use to say... "everytime you point your finger at somebody else... there are 3 of your fingers pointing back at you"...

As for Ronnie's stay in the penthouse... I enjoy knowing that his reign will be short as will his stay in the BB house...

I can hardly wait to see Father Dan again... He is MY favorite of all time... Dr. Will has now been sent to a dismal #2 spot in my BB life.

Posted by: Dixie at July 17, 2009 02:21 PM

First of all - Braden is an idiot, he would have been much better to have around then Chima, but wow.

Second, Lynn, I totally agree with you. Those buzz in games are totally suspect. You could easily see how CBS manipulates who wins to make the best choice for ratings. The delay they did before they called someone gave them plenty of opportunity to manipulate. I say it every year (only the 3rd season Ive watched), but I may stop watching early this year because the only reality part of the show is the live feeds. Ill follow periodically just to see the "score" as the season goes along just like I do a sport, but they may have lost a big fan from these shenanigans.

What is painfully obvious to me is 2 things, Russ is jealous of Jeff and Ronnie terrified of Russ - the house would completely change if Russ was gone. Sure, Russ also thinks Jeff is a little slow, but Im sure he would overlook it and not be suck a di*k if he had gotten Jordan instead of Jeff. Trust me, even if Russ isnt completely attracted to Jordan, he still knows whoever gets the hot girl's affection is the "winner" and no one likes to lose, especially hard core type A's. As far as Ronnie, that little weasel won't last long as soon as Jordan and Jeff are gone (especially if Russ is still there). Those 2 are just too nice to hear what Laura is saying. She is spot on about who the rat is and what going on and unfortunately Jeff and Jordan are just too nice and dont really care about the game.

Last, as far as the race and gay things, I can see how the feelings are hyper inflated being closed up in a house like that, but seriously, get over it. People on this show make way too big a deal of it and blow it completely out of proportion. Everyone is kidding themselves if they think racial, religious, sexual orientation, etc biases and tensions will ever go away. They have been here in every culture of the world for the history of the world and will likely never go away. That's a fact of life just like being born a goofy looking geek like Ronnie. His "Beaker" from the muppets frown is ridiculous.

Whomever it is comparing this snake Ronnie to Will, is sure smoking something illegal! Get season 2, watch it, and you will surely see no similarites. Perhaps that they are males & human?? I don't even know about that, as a snake is a reptile isn't it?
This clusterfuc_ is turning into a BB6, a nightmare! Bullies, snakes, and those whom think they are holier than thou! Jessie proves why he was outed in BB10, he knows nothing about how to play. I really doubt he is there to play anyways. All he does is pimp himself for the WWE! Russell is a human rock and a bully. He makes Cappy seem kind. Gnat is down and dirty like BB6 winner and a snake. Lydia is out and out a trashbag. Kevin is her trash that goes in the bag. AND before anyone says I am a sore loser, be quiet!! I have disliked many, many, many players over the years, but sure enjoyed watching them play. These people are not fun to watch. They make incredibly stupid personal remarks, that get them nowhere.
And wouldn't ya know Chimapet would pull out the race card. When you haven't a brain and loving bone in your body, I guess that's all ya got? That was as tacky as she is. And Kevin, I would bet was front and center during 'Will & Grace' era and laughing his ass off with every 'slur' made. Ignorance is a far cry from biggotry. Believe me, with my children I face ignorance everyday and it is surely not biggotry! Big difference!
It was a joy to watch Dan not be personal. These few make this BB experience hell and make Jerry look like an angel.
Going on vacation and can't say I will miss the mess that will surely go on in the next two weeks. But I will surely miss all my SH buddies and may just take along the laptop to check in on y'all.
Praying Jocks get slop & doom. Pray Jeff, Casey & Jordon stay safe. Pray Michele gets in the game.

And of course praying for you grog, where ever you may be...

From HD - It's actually Ronnie comparing himself to THE Dr. Will. One of the phrases he said was something like: When this season is over, they'll be saying Will who? Yeah, I know.

Thanks for all the fun last night HD! I was shocked with Chimapet's little speech and she really thought that CBS would let it be heard??

Wish the HOH comp would have turned out different, but if last nights feeds were any indication, this week will be full of sceaming and making up... Glad there is a mute button!!

Glad everyone has figure out Ronnie Rat but worry about who he will nominate this week.. Hated that he was talking Casey.

I don't understand why Jessie pinhead seems to have such a following.. Chimapet and Russell seem pretty chummy too. But I could not beleive my eyes this am when I say Gnat on the floor and Jessie/Lydia on the bed:~( YUCK
Braden's interveiw with Julie was very hard to watch.. What an idiot...

Will certainly enjoy seeing Dan on Sunday for the Have/Havenot comp.. Hopefully it will be the Jocks in the 'Room' and slop.. Well maybe BB having slop isn't so bad after all..LOL

I'm just not getting Mastermind Ron's game play. If he was smart he would have let Michelle win - let her take the fallout for this weeks nominations since he was safe.

The real threat is Russell. I think most of the house would take a sigh of relief - even some of the athletes - if he was gone. Ronnie could easily convince both sides that Russell must go. I guess everyone is afraid he would win POV.

Anyway, for those who want endurance comps only, they are probably more expensive than the buzzer ones - and the question ones are the only things that keep the non- athletes alive. I think the how far would you go (think poor Chicken George) are the best. Would you shave your head, wear something ridiculous, or eat cockroaches ( people did at Six Flags) to get HOH. I think Ronnie and Lydia might - but most would have their limits.

Also, am I the only one bored with slop. I have been watching since Season 1 - and I find slop so boring.

I almost fell off the couch when Ronnie the Rat WON HOH. I can't stand that guy! And the *ONLY* reason he voted Braden out is because he's scared to death of the muscle! Imagine how pissed they wouldve been if ChimaPet went home because of HIS vote. He'd be looking over his shoulder for weeks! lol What a dork--and speaking of-- BUBBLES, PLAY-DOH and Legally Blonde?? Really?

As for Chima..talk about low class. Whatever had been said by Braden that was hurtful, it certainly didn't need REPEATING on live television (esp. the Julie remark).

Lastly, NATALIE needs to get off her 'holier than thou' high horse. I hated watching her and Chima on After Dark last night lay into Michelle about voting for Braden. I WISH she would have just said, "you know what? My vote is MY VOTE and I vote the way that helps ME best in the game."

That's it for now..Thanks for all you do HD! Love your site!

Have a great vacation, Diff. We'll hold down the fort for you, but I know you will have to check in every so often..they keep dragging us back in, don't they. I went from not sure who I might like to can't stand these people in such a short time. Usually it takes a bit to start disliking some of the houseguests, but not this season..went from cold to hot in the first week. At least I now know which persons I DON'T want to make it to the finals.

And I am also still sending angels to you daily, Grog. Take care..we miss you!

Looks to me like it's Laura and Jeff he nominated.

Here goes HamsterDame,

My first comment on your blog despite having read it since BB8.

Isn't it strange how CBS seems to shy away and edit out any serious issues that get addressed in the Big Brother house? Chima's violent past was never addressed. There was never any substantive attempt to address the racism in Braden's comments.

I wouldn't know anything about them if I hadn't read your blog.

From HD - Welcome to the wonderful world of commenting on Silly Hamsters! That was easy wasn't it? I hope we see more of you around on here. :)

I honestly don't think Braden even knows what a misogynist is, judging from his "Early Show" conversation with Julie. Although I don't think Chima's comments were fair at the eviction ceremony, the dude should have at least realized that you don't insult anyone's race or gender even in an unfair fight. So much for the "Zen Surfer Dude" he was attempting to portray.
