BB10's Dan Returns To Host
It was very hard to sit through this show. I almost dreaded it to begin with because I knew it would entail having to lay my eyes on King Ratboy for more seconds than one should ever have to in a lifetime. Wouldn't it be great if we could just blur out and mute people we don't like on these shows?
Ronnie received what I would say was a favorable edit tonight. I believe the powers that be want to charm America with Ronnie's greasy hair and anti-social behavior. They certainly did a good job tonight. Besides, who could resist cheering on the nerdy underdog who rose from the ashes to sit on top of the world? Ack!
Why didn't they tell America about how Ronnie also received Play-Doh in his HOH basket? They included the bubble wand and Legally Blonde soundtrack (as well as Jeff's and Casey's funny remarks about them) tonight. Perhaps it's good for us that they didn't show it. We don't want America to fall in love with Ratboy.
Do any of you have any friends and/or family that watch only the show? What are they thinking of when it comes to Ronnie? Do they find him cute and adoring? If they do, would you do me (and them) a favor and clue them in? Thank you.
Let's get on to Chima's behavior tonight. I was surprised they actually showed us that. Perhaps Big Brother is letting us know that they can't stand the bitch either - especially after the stunt she pulled on the live show on Thursday. They showed her smug behavior at still being in the house and her fight with Michele over why she voted to evict her. We also saw her outrageous comments to Jeff during the luxury competition and her petty behavior towards Casey and the others when it came time to pick who would be the Have Nots for the week. I hope they continue to show the viewing audience what a catty and vile woman she is.
I was a bit perturbed at the luxury competition tonight. We sat around on the feeds waiting for more than four hours for them to come back on while they put that crap game show on in the backyard. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to see Dan, the winner of Big Brother 10, again and some of the questions and costumes were cute. But all of that for just that? I definitely think we got shafted on that one. Casey was certainly shafted by winning that competition with Chima. Would you like to spend any alone time in a dark room with that hag? I get shivers just thinking about it.
The nomination ceremony, as well as the parts of strategy discussions they showed us, was boring. Ronnie's little speech about being on the show to play strategically and not personally was something we already knew. He gave the same lame reasoning for nominating Laura and Jeff that we've heard a million times before on the show. Big Brother did show us a tidbit of him in the diary room at the end of the show saying that his ultimate target is Russell.
I don't believe he has the gonads to actually do it. He says he has a brass pair but I'll be they're really made of paper mache. He's been all over the place concerning who he'll be putting up in Jeff's place since the POV competition yesterday. Depending on who he's talking to at any second of the day and the location of the planets in our solar system, it's either Casey, Jordan, or Russell. It's impossible to know exactly how things are going to pan out in the Power of Veto ceremony tomorrow afternoon. We're just in a holding pattern until then.
Finally, tonight we were informed of the first America's Vote of the season. We get to text or vote online right here on what the Have Nots will eat next week. It doesn't apply to Laura and Jordan this week so there's no telling which clique will be on this food restriction. The three choices that we can pick from are: sauerkraut and seaweed; cabbage and cocktail weenies; or pickled eggs and pickled herring. If it's like previous seasons, you can vote no more than ten times (to have them actually count) for free online at that link above. Or you can pay $1 per text with no more than ten texts to vote (but that's just silly). Votes are accepted until 11:59 PM Pacific Time Wednesday, July 22.
So what did you think about the show tonight? Who's getting a good edit and who's getting a bad one? Was there anything you think was left out of tonight's show? And what food are you going to choose in America's Vote? I'm voting for pickled eggs and pickled herring!

Would you like to spend any alone time in a dark room with that hag?
i think that the only way you could get me to spend time with her would be in a dark room!!! and being in the dark does have its advantages. no one can see how she ends up dead!!!
From HD - LMAO! Well that's certainly a different way to look at it! Hahaha...

Ronnie's a douche.......he wont put up Russell, he's chicken shit. BB/CBS picked a bunch of dorks this year...........Boring!!!!!

Hey! I just started watching BB this year. My goodness, after 10 years I can't believe I didn't know it started. I had to catch up on the last few shows on demand. What the heck is Jesse doing back was my first thought! I am looking forward to seeing what is going to happen when Dan shows up. I nearly died when I saw that rat won HOH last week. Another year of watching folks win that I can't stand, with the exception of Dan last year. Good to be back.
From HD - Welcome back!

First comment this season...slowly getting back into the fold since taking a much needed hiatus from BB that last 2 seasons. Cant decide who makes me itch more.. Chima or Ronnie. Chima's all of a sudden happy to me on the brains team?? Pahleez! Hope she's eating pickles and herring next week!
From HD - Welcome back to you too! Long time no see!
Posted by: ackisme at July 19, 2009 07:17 PM
Can you say "Let them eat Pickled Eggs and Pickled Herring"? I sure can! That to me seems the nastiest (unless your from Norway or someplace where pickled herring is a wonder-food)of the 3 picks.
Ronnie will not put Ruscle on the block. He doesn't have any balls. Hes a worm. What a Jesse tool he is! When he was in his space princess outfit... can you say Barf-Vader???? What a freaking idiot! Shame has a name it is Ronnie. Will his wife have to move away change her name and claim a new identity?
On to Chia-Pet the hormonal raging screaming bee-atch from H-E double hockey sticks.... I started liking her for a minute last night on Showtime. Then I realized she was being nice cause she wanted Barf Vader to put up Ruscle and was kissing arse to Jordan and Jeff. Of course... alas.... the peace did not last, and she once more allowed her mask to slip and the evil one came forth. I feel sorry for any boyfriend she has. He better be ball-less or he will be in no time flat.
Anyway... I like Casey and hope he can lay low for a while and slip through the radar. I also REALLY want Michelle to find some sort of inner strength to TRY and play the dad-blame game!!!! On the feeds when Jesse-Butt Kisser Ronnie cornered her to tell her about the Jordan "blowup" her eyes looked like she was scared to death. I don't think this chick knew what kind of psychos she would have to deal with! That Chia-bitch really messed with her head. Poor girl will need a shrink after the season is done. On the outside she is probably a mature in control woman wise to her surroundings but being ganged up on by the two vipers in the BB house... this girls in over her head.... I really want her to get it together and quit cleaning the darn toilet!!!

Ronnie is getting too good of an edit. Yes it shows his geeky side, but it doesn't show his paranoia, obsessive, hypocritical, lieing, etc. behavior. I can barely watch the show or him! He makes my skin crawl. I'm betting the gonads aren't papier mache. I'm betting he doesn't have any! I do not believe he will put Russell up. He is not playing strategically or he wouldn't be putting Jordan up as a replacement nom simply because she told him she didn't believe his lies anymore. I can't wait to see him go...sooner please!
Chima is getting a true edit. She is one vile woman (laugh included). Why isn't she offending more people. Maybe she and Natalie will get into a fight with each other soon. She needs to go too (both shes).
I actually dislike more this year than normal. It is getting hard to watch. Sometimes I just prefer reading what happened than having to watch/listen to it. Crazy people!!!
Love your post!!!

I can't believe how much I dislike this house. I really like Laura and I think she could be a major power player. Casey is also fun to watch. As PhD student in Psych, I have to like Michelle, but the rest?
Ugh. If Laura goes on Thursday, I might not give a shit about the rest of the season.

So I thought the edit they gave Chima was PERFECT- I don't recall Chima doing anything to make herself look better than that, she has NO redeeming qualities and BB decided to make sure America knows it too.
As for good and bad edits besides Chima
= I felt they made Jordan look smarter than she comes across on the feeds, but they didnt show that much of her
= They didnt show Michele in the diary at all, you would think she would have more to comment about given Ronnie was targeting her as the rat
= Caseys diarys are great, he comes across fairly intelligent and witty - I like it.
Honestly I sort of feel like the CBS broadcast didnt show much about the houseguest except Chima and Ronnie.
I think Im voting for cabbage and cocktail weenies, because honestly out of all the choices that is the only match up I could even handle. Well I dont even know if I could handle that. Lets hope the athletes are stuck as the Have Nots next week.
Ronnie could (sort of, but not fully) redeem himself in my book if he grew balls and put up Russell tomorrow or anyone else from the athlete side. WOW, if Russell goes up I think hed cause some series havoc. I guess well see tomorrow.

Gee Wiz HD don't hold it in, if one or two of the hamsters is irritating you just let them have it because I personally wouldn't want to see you get an ulcer.
I'm not going to say anything about the ball-less wonder because it's all been said already and he is just going to do whatever Jessie wants anyway.
I can't believe that I'm going to say this but I've actually gained a little grudging respect for the way that Jessie the God King is playing the game. Don't get me wrong, I still think that he is full of himself but he has done a good job of setting himself up as the leader of a pack of Lemmings.
I've also gained a little respect for Russell. I know that it's not going to happen but I think that it might be a smart move for him to get over his animus for Jeff and start working with him behind the scenes because he has to know that if things go that way Jessie in visions his head is going to be on the chopping block after the blood bath because he is feared by the other lemmings. I also am not sure that Kevin is buying the company line.
Just my opinion.

I am quite angry!
They didn't show Chima or Nat being the complete bitches they are. And how dare they show Ronnie like he's an actual good player and not the little rat he is. Grr!

Ok I would never want to be in a dark room with princess PooPoo.
I am voting to put Chima and Ronnie on Pickled stuff. Sorry Michele it is part of the brainy package. I really want Karma to bite that bit** in the a** this week.
I was so happy to see my honey doll Dan tonight. That was lame to put the feeds off for 4 hours. But from conversation on the feeds they made it sound like Dan visited for a while. I wish they would have shown him make the comment to Jesse about a bitter party of 1.
I really think for all the money they make on the feeds we should be able to see all the blocked out stuff after it airs on the show. They could put it on the flashback thing.
Chima is talking about her ex. She doesn't have a man. It is because she is so evil. She is talking about she should have went on The Bachelor. Chima just said the women are catty. Pot calling kettle.....
Ok sorry for going on but this bit** Chima really irritates me to no end.
Back to the show... They need to show the world how crappy ratboy is. I do know people that only watch the show and I do tell them about these people. Zack likes Jesse and Russell probably cause he is 14 and wants to be all muscular like them. I told him Jeff has some musles to strive for. LOL.
Well goodnight everyone in Big Brother Land!

Wish we could have seen Jesse being such a shit about Dan being there. So, so bitter and I love it! People need to see that Jesse's an even bigger, in more ways than one, jerk than last season. I've never watched wrestling/fighting, or whatever it is that he aspires to, but if he gets into the business I'll be glued to the set to see someone slam him on his head...on second thought, it probably wouldn't hurt that blockhead.

So basically, we have the choice to give them diarrhea, really bad gas, or have them vomit all week. If it was only Lydia and Chima involved, I'd opt for the sauerkraut and a whole week of sitting on the toilet. Knowing that it could be anyone else, i'd have to opt for the bad cabbage gas knowing they'd get something a little more substantive to eat with the vienner sausages.
Yeh, Ronnie definitely got a great edit tonight. So ironic that at virtually the same time he's getting the good edit he is continuing to be a little shit on the feeds. So now he hates Jordan and wants to put her up because she told him off. Excuse me but didn't he just tell America that he only plays strategically and not emotionally. What a little piece of crap.
I really have started to like Laura. I would love to see her go forward in the game as she is a pretty smart cookie. She's the only one in her group that has the killer instinct. Jordan cannot control her mouth and cannot play the game; and she and Jeff continue shooting themselves in the foot by not being smart about what they are doing.
Right now I am at a place that I might not care who wins, as long as it is not Chima, Lydia, Kevin or Ronnie.

Love the post HD - So so true. Ronnie drives me nuts (he has none) Sincerely think he will not be able to grow some before the POV Ceremony tomorrow. . He is not as smart as he thinks he is, because he is clueless that the whole house is on to his games. That Dork smirk - blechhh.
Chima pet, what a nasty excuse for a human being she is. 'nuff said, don't want to waste more of my time on that pond scum.
Lydia got fairly good edit. Too bad they don't show her lack of reading skills. By that I mean, she has trouble reading the end of words. She got Hand-holding mixed up with Hand-ho.
I am thinking of the Pickled option, but concerned about whether Chima-pet wins - imagine that puckered up all the time from the pickled stuff. OK, knowing herring and eggs pickled doesn't cause that pucker power, but though the visual was kind of scary.
Why do these idiots keep looking to Jesse as the leader - CLUE - he lost last year and America did NOT like him.
As for people who only watch CBS - a co-worker only watches the show, does not check anything online, etc. She can't stand Ronnie, says he is flat out weird. Was disgusted that they broght Jesse back too. And thinks Chima is nasty... and that was before tonight's show!
xtex88 - was wondering where you were. So good to see you again! Missed ya!
Would love to hear from Grog. Hope you are doing better buddy. Prayers and hugs.

The most favorable editing? The Toadie, AKA Natalie. Not one mention of her being up Jessie's behind; nothing about her getting into Laura's and Jordan's face on Thursday; nothing about her getting into it with Michelle, nothing about anything. Usually no news means no game, but the Toadie thinks she is running the Athletes.

I'm going pickled all the way, as they should get pickled to lighten up the feeds ... seems everybody has a boyfriend ...
Posted by: Steven @ Syracuse at July 19, 2009 09:30 PM
Okay, I'm just gonna dive right in here with my first comment. I'm sitting here watching BBAD and I want to know who gave Jessie and Natalie gum. These two idiots are chomping on it in the most obnoxious manner. I can't stand people who chew gum with their mouths open. Please Casey, PLEASE, as a teacher demand they spit out their gum immediately! As if I needed one more reason to dislike these two morons!!

I wish I could know who the have nots would be before I voted for the food.
I just don't understand why the house is so stupid as to not see why Jessie doesn't want Russell up- they are on the same team he can't nominate hitm, Laura can. He is not thinking about anyone but himself. He keeps saying he will put Russell up knowing full well he can't. Why would Rat Boy who knows Russell will come after him not get him out of the house? Strategic- I think not.
So if Laura goes home what do you think they will do with the teams? will they just have Jordan by herself?
I think they didn't mention the Pladough because of product endorsement. They told him to quit calling it Playdough and to call it modeling clay.
From HD - Yeah, I know about the Play-Doh thing/modeling clay thing. It didn't have to keep him from mentioning it in the diary room or something. LOL

Tonights show was not a very good one. It was a little flat and the competition was not a very amusing one. I know they tried for all the site gags but I really didn't need to see that much of Ronnie.
We knew this would be a tough week to watch as he who shall not be named is currently HOH making it unlikely they can avoid showing us all his clips.
Is he getting a "good" edit? Well, they aren't showing quite how bad he is but they also haven't let him off scott free. I suppose some TV only viewers might think he's a game player rather than a deluded rat.
However, I don't think they can hide that he has become this season's most disliked player. Will the HGs remember what has happened with previous season's most disliked players such as ED and possibley nip this in the bud and save us all the endless hours of ratness?
I did perk up breifly when told we would get to choose what the "slop de jeur" would be next week. But alas, we don't really get to choose. I should have known better, they do this every season. We get 3 week options to choose from and then it get's presented as "America's choice" as though we thought up those combinations.
I have to wonder if slop will also be available to the "have nots". A week on eggs and herring does not meet basic daily requirements. I seem to recall reading that while slop is vile tasting, it does actually contain the necessary vitamins, minerals, protien etc.. PB and J certainly was able to meet minimum requirements.
I'd starve if it was sauerkraut and seaweed. Seaweed makes me gag and sauerkraut is an aquired taste. Guess who didn't aquire it?
While I could certainly afford a few days without food I will opt not to take up any of these dietary suggestions next week. :)

FYI- My sister only watches the shows and she hates Ronnie.
I think they couldn't mention the play-doh b'c of copyright reasons. B'c after a while Ronnie started calling it "modeling clay" and he mentioned he couldn't use the name play-doh.

OMG, I could not beleive the show last night!! What is BB thinking? RonnieRAt's outfit was scarey esp with him grinning from ear to ear.. ICK!!!!!
I hate when they edit so much out that you get the wrong impression on the hamsters. But at least they showed the real Chimapet and what bitch she has turned into. Amazing how one acts when they are safe for the week.. But that should all change on Thursday and would love to see the populars win HOH but if it is just Jordan left, that will be doubtfull.
Sourkraut and seaweed is my choice and if it wasn't for Michele I would love to see RonnieRat and Chimapet on this diet for a week. It would also do my heart good to see the jocks minus Jeff on it as well.....
I'm happy that Casey won the movie veiwing but its too bad that Chimapet also won...

Makes me smile....

Come on CBS, get rid of the 'clique' twist right now. That would surely change some of the game dynamics. We've had enough of this high school shit. Chima, Ronnie, Jessie, Nat, Lydia...puke! Nasty, nasty people! So full of themselves! It is painful to watch those slimy worms.
Posted by: sprite1949 at July 20, 2009 10:13 AM
Ok so now that it is Jordan and Laura up together couldn't they both eat now? They would each get a penalty vote but essentially they would just cancel each other out if they both did it.
Lauar keeps talking about how hungry she is and she wants to eat. I think they should just do it!
Are there other penalys for eating other than just the penalt vote?
