Waiting On Round Two

Well we've had an exciting 24 hours haven't we? Memphis evicted Keesha and then Dan went on to win the first part of the final HOH competition. Now it's all up to Memphis and Jerry at this point.

The second part of the three-part HOH competition should be held some time today. It's usually a physical and mental competition similar to many POV competitions. The winner of this part will advance to the final round of the HOH competition where they will compete against Dan to become the last HOH of this Big Brother 10 season.

It's important for Memphis and Jerry to try and win it today but if either of them doesn't, it won't necessarily mean that they're out of the game. Many of you might be fairly new to Big Brother and wonder why I say that. That's because whoever actually becomes the final HOH will single-handedly evict one of the other two while choosing who they want to go to the end of the game with.

There will be a ton of silence in the house until the final HOH is determined because Dan and Memphis have been keeping their alliance on the down low. Remember Dan's outburst in the house after Keesha was evicted last night? That was directed at Memphis for Jerry's benefit. Both Dan and Memphis want Jerry to believe that they're at odds against each other because of Memphis voting Keesha out. Jerry seems to have fallen for it hook, line, and sinker because he was "studying" with Memphis last night for the final part of the HOH competition. That part of the competition usually involves how well they know the jury members.

I have to go back to how Keesha behaved last night right before she was evicted and then as she was leaving. I haven't been a big fan of Keesha all season long (as you all know) except when it involved helping Dan and Memphis advance in the game. Regardless of what we think about Keesha being able to win in the final two, she's gone and that doesn't matter anymore. I was sorry to see her behave the way she did though.

I understand she was upset at Memphis, herself, and probably at the game at that point. But she came across as a spiteful little child to me and hopefully to the viewing audience. Dan seemed to even have looked a little bit surprised at how she acted. It was good that she calmed down a little with Julie and said to her that she knew even Memphis was playing the game. But, of course, it doesn't have to make her like it any better.

Dan telling her about taking Michelle on his luxury trip to the beach was a good move on his part. At least Keesha won't be surprised about it later at the jury house. For all we know, only Michelle and Keesha might know about the trip. Either way, I think Keesha will come away from Dan's confession and view it as a positive rather than a negative even after she mulls over how he didn't tell her at first.

So what did you think about the show last night? What about Keesha's reaction towards Memphis and then Dan's "fake" outburst at Memphis? Are you glad that Dan won the first part of the HOH competition? Who do you want to win the second part and how do you want things to play out?

Don't forget that tonight Brian and Steven will be having a video chat on Feed 4 at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT. So load up your feeds and see what they have to say later tonight. Finally, one of your fellow Silly Hamsters readers and commenters (Gregor) has decided to put together a little roast for me. I'm a little scared about it but excited as well! If you'd like to find out more about what he has planned and perhaps even contribute, check out his comment in the Wing and a Prayer post for more details. But don't email me about it because what exactly is happening is supposed to be a surprise! I can't wait!
