Some Links For You
Still happy that Dan won? I sure am! He seems like such a nice and genuine guy outside of the house. Definitely not at all like the ass we thought he would be at the beginning of the season.
If you'd like to watch more videos with Dan and everybody else in the house this season, you can find all of the interviews right here. Also, check out yesterday's House Calls with Dan and Memphis below.
There is also an interview up with Evel Dick and Dan in your SuperPass' Big Brother section. Keep checking there for more interviews with all of the other hamsters from this season as well. Midseasonreplacements has a great interview with Dan that's definitely worth checking out.
The wrap party will be soon and we all know there will be crazy pics from there as well as the seasonal gag reel. That's the thing I can't wait for!
Update on Friday, September 19th - Here are some photos from the wrap party last night. And below is part of the gag reel shown at the wrap party.

We can not thank you enough for the wonderful job you have done and keep doing with the website. My wife and I stop by here everyday. We are glad that you made it thru Hurricane Ike. Keep up the good work.

Gregor,
Where's the Hammy Roast? Did I miss a post? Is it somewhere else? Can't wait!!
Posted by: diff at September 18, 2008 07:06 AM
Just caught up on the post-game interviews. Must say Dan is well deserving of the win. Memphis seems quite content for 2nd place.
Their friendship seems quite strong. I hope the long distance doen't dim it. With Dan continuing to teach in Dearborn and Memphis on the west coast it will be hard.
It appears that they are going into business together and I hope that works out for them. If so, I see Dan teaching another year or two and maybe moving to Los Angeles.

P.S., I'm catching a flight at 5:30 am tomorrow for Toronto. (my first time flying). I will probably miss the roast and will have to catch up Sunday pm when I return. Don't get your backside too close to the flames.

Enjoyed learning that Dan was playing the game to get INTO the house..how smart he was to amp up the answers to some of the questions. Those responses shown in his bio were the reason I was prepared to dislike him, but he really won me over early in the game..It feels so good to really like the person who won. The HouseCalls interview with both was good but I really enjoyed Bunky's after show interviews much more than Gretchen's.
HD, hope it won't be long before your life gets back to everyday normal and crazy..We so appreciate what you do here!!

Loved the midseasonrepacements interview. It was such a relief to know that the preseason interview was an exaggerated version of Dan; and how funny was it...his reaction to Ollie and April playing house. Thanks for the clip!

P.S. lol HD when I got in trouble and you said my messages couldnt be posted any more I didnt realize you actually made it that way. And I only knew because I tried to post at my house after the finale. So I wasnt looking for away around it I just didnt know. You can erase this part its kinda emberassing.

Wow, Dan always thinking.
Even playing the BB producers to cast him in the show.
I love that!
I'm sure its not the first time someone exaggeraated to get on the show, but usually its not in the way he did it with such a strong political (supposid) view.
He really truly is the best BB player ever.
One thing that struck me as odd though, is why would Dan (other HGs) be so shocked at April/Ollie having sex?
I mean even if they never saw it, its not like they could have missed the way they were together and they did not try to hide their relationship.
What am I missing???

HD, I hate to sound ignorant, but I don't know what a Superpass is or where to find it. I would love to see the interview of Dan with Evel Dick. Could you lead me to the link:).
From HD - Just open up your Real player that you use to watch the feeds and go to the Big Brother section.

Finale Result Orgasmic Hamsterlings,
Hope you've all had fun basking in the afterglow of Dan's big win. Sadly, unforeseen events and infernal responsibilities prevented DRATS from seeing the show until yesterday evening (9/17), so I have declined comment until now.
I must agree that a two-hour finale would provide much more entertainment and far greater insight as to the thoughts and mindset of the players. Regrettably, we all know that summer television programming is the bastard child of the network broadcasting universe. (Not that there's anything at all wrong with being a bastard, of course.) However, at this time of year and with their new Fall programming gearing up to start, there's little hope of CBS presenting two or more hours of anything worthwhile. Unless of course you actually enjoy the galactic tedium of political conventions or stale, second-rate movies.
So, what did DRATS think about the final show?
-Sarcasm 101-
The Portuguese Pork Princess made her usual waves; What a surprise.
Too-Punk'd and the Lamprey (Memphis) spoke with all the lucidity of sea-sponges; Big shocker.
Corporal Agarn presented the same tired and unsubstantial excuses for his imbecilic actions as always; Who'da thunk it?
Fivehead and Muscle-mouth (Jessie) wallowed in their own self gratification, yet again; No, really?
Auntie Mame is still larger than life; Duh.
Flippers voice is still considered hazardous to those wearing pace-makers; Somebody call the paper.
Angie is still attractive but roughly as interesting as navel lint; Dumbfounding.
Steven and Brian looked like they'd dropped a quarter and found a penny; Never saw that coming.
Dan still thinks he's Knute Rockne; Get the defibrillator.
All told, it was somewhat predictable.
Perhaps the only real "bang" came in the unanimous vote itself, and the "calling-out" of the Gruesome Quartet by Brian and Steven. Unfortunately, the responses of those being presented with the mirror of their actions were similarly paraplegic and predictable.
There's an old cowboy saying,
"You can lead a horse to water, but ya can't make it drink."
and the fact of the matter is that certain people can be reached and others cannot.
The devil giving another their due; I would be remiss were I not to comment how very different Libra has been (what we've seen of her anyway) since her departure from the Big Brother house.
Perhaps for some there is hope. However, the April's of this world will continue to live in the Fantasyland of their own false impressions and insecurities regardless of how many times they're shown the Main-Street exit.
April was right about one thing though. Weeks ago, in the pool she told Ollie,
"You don't understand. There are millions of me."
Yep, she hit the pin on the head, millions. A dime a dozen and twice as cheap.
Nevertheless, Dan deserved to win and, (in a cosmic freak momentary lapse of self-involvement by the Skank-o-saurus Rex and the other jurors) he did.
Ah well, I suppose even a broken clock strikes true twice a day.

Hi HD, I echo everyone else with my appreciation of you and your blog site. Do you have a blog for any other reality shows? I'm fully prepared to start watching a show I have never been interested in before, if it means I get to come be a part of one of your blog communities. I'm going through serious withdrawls. It's a toss up on which I enjoyed more, the actual BB show or this blog. Thanks again, HD!!
Posted by: shayshay at September 18, 2008 12:33 PM
diff (and everyone else that is interested)
The Roast is complete and HD has the finished product. When she posts it is completely up to her now. I thought the first installment might be up by now, but I am sure HD will get to it soon.
Right now she may be dealing with more important issues, like cleaning up after Ike. So stay tuned and give her as much time as she needs.
Thanks to you all again for showing the interest and making an effort to be a part of this. I had fun putting it together and hope HD and everyone else will enjoy it too.

TMZ is reporting that the car that CBS told Memphis he won is not actually owned by CBS. They are now scrambling to buy that car or a replacement. The actual owner has even painted the car since the show. What a mess. Why would they "give" a prize that they don't actually own?! Poor Memphis :(
Posted by: Seesaw at September 18, 2008 02:21 PM
"A dime a dozen and twice as cheap."
DRATS, I tremble in my shoes at your comeback, but you gotta be kidding!! Maybe AS cheap but not more so...come on now...ON NAT'L TV??

No what you mean shayshay:):).
Posted by: xtex88 at September 18, 2008 03:16 PM
How is it you got your power back before I did and I'm in Ohio?! The aftermath of Ike found its way up to the Buckeye state on Sunday with 80+ mile an hour winds! It was something I have never experienced before and I hope to never experience it again. We just got out electric back earlier this evening. Over 2 million people were without electric and there are still over a million without. Whew. It's been crazy. I'm glad you're ok though!
Fortunately I was able to make my way over to a house with electric and was able to see the finale. I really didn't think it was all that great. It was pretty bland to me. And what the hell was April thinking when she got dressed for the questioning of Dan and Memphis?! She looked like cat woman. Ugh. I'm thrilled Dan won. He absolutely deserved it. I really wanted Renny to get the $25,000, but at least Keesha got it.
Thanks for another great season, HD!

I had to comment on Seesaw's comment. LMAO Karma's a bitch and that is what Memphis gets for been a snake and taking it away from Steven.I can't wait to see the Final product of The Roast.
Thanks Gregor for all the work u did putting it together.Take care everyone and "Keep Smiling":)

DRATS - Gee... thanks for the Book of the Month reading selections. Looks like some may have been written by ghost writers. ;)
Gregor - Yes, we are interested in the Roast! Thanks for all the hard work you did. Whenever HD is ready to post them - it should be fun to read.
Posted by: Sleepyeye10 at September 18, 2008 06:25 PM
Thanks Gregor, Sure HD is sweeping up and reading at the same time! Can't wait to read some of my favorite posters!

I'll be out of town until Monday-off to Boston for the weekend. I will catch up with you all after reading the roast. I hope it is DE-LISH!
BTW, it blows about Memphis and the car. If this is true, than CBS/BB has "some 'splain-in to do!"

Dixie-Cup,
Cheap isn't an adjective one must always associate with money.

If you haven't opened Super Pass today just a heads up. Dick's interviews with Renny and now April and Ollie, together, is up. Dick busts them,A/O, big time. very explicit. April is shocked but doesn't seem embarrassed. Lots of OMG and nervous laughter.
Posted by: Michigan Man at September 18, 2008 08:30 PM
I have seen the interviews that Real Player has up with Evel Dick...too funny!Dan's saying he was a little bit of previous hg's; including Evel Dick and Dr. Will was a great compliment because he took the best of those hgs and made his own characterization to win the game...Brilliant!
Renny's interview was a blast as usual. But it was April and Ollie that had me rolling! April and Ollie were SO embarrassed to find out that we saw everything...DUH! April knew all about the show, even if Ollie didn't...what did 24/7 Live Feeds mean to those idiots? LMAO Now they know when they get to their families...THEY GOT SOME S'PLAINING TO DO...RLMAO! I was so confused that the houseguests didn't think they were doing the horizontal mambo...unbelievable! No wonder Dan could manipulate them so easily. Gullible, Jerry asked...OH YEAH!
Thanks for the links to other interviews with Dan. And the CBS interview with the entire cast. I liked the interview with Dan and Memphis on House Calls; but I sure wish they had done it separatedly...There was probably questions and answers that would have been put to them that the other wouldn't have appreciated...Like Dan pulling Memphis's strings and manipulating him to do things in the house. And like Dan stacking the jury votes even before their evictions. LOL. The entire jury thought Memphis was the mastermind...Too Funny.
The car Memphis won...no wonder he made a face and said he couldn't talk about it...Shame on CBS and BB. But I'll bet Steven is so glad it is Memphis's headache not his. Maybe CBS will make a cash deal with Memphis about the car...he would love that I think.
Dan's preseason reveal was just too cool. So we the viewers as well as BB and the houseguests were PLAYED royally...OMG too funny! Dan was the consummate player. He was the MAN alright...And right now he is flashing that smile and Laughing his way all the way to the bank...And he still has his job, despite ppl calling into the school and trying to get him fired...GO DAN! People should realize this is a game of deceit, so getting on their moral high ground is a little ridiculous and petty imo to try to get him fired. He was smart and it paid off...The School should be glad they can say they have the BB winner as part of their staff. And it shows his dedication to his job and his students and his team...Most ppl in the house either already quit their jobs to come to the BB House or they said if they won they would quit. Memphis said he is quitting his job at the bar.
Thanks for the links HD...once again, despite your busy schedule, you are there for us.
peace. :)

OMG, that gag reel is too funny! One of the best ones I've seen. There is alot more on youtube, for anyone wanting to see all!
Posted by: diff at September 19, 2008 08:45 AM
Per TMZ.com- "After setting up a test-drive to see if he wanted the classic car -- which "Big Bro" would've had to purchase from the rightful owner -- Memphis realized the gas-guzzler wasn't for him and chose to pocket an undisclosed amount of greenbacks instead."
He probably was hoping for that all along.
