See No Fruitless Exit Where Sleeping Dogs Lie

Tonight's episode of Big Brother was a pretty good one considering the season is drawing to a close. Yeah, there were several instances of ridiculous suspense. Oh no, who will Dan nominate? We know the nominations don't matter at all this week but the poor hapless souls only watching the television show probably don't. So let's face it. They have to do some creative editing to make them happy. Whoopty dee doo that Jerry and Memphis were nominated.

I was so glad to see the luxury competition get all the attention tonight instead of the nominations. How funny was it that Memphis and Keesha seemed too afraid to make a move when the sumo wrestler was in the house? Dan wasn't afraid to get a little up close and personal though when he snatched that envelope from under the wrestler's rump.

My favorite part of the show by far was all of Jessie being the gorilla. It didn't matter to me that I didn't like him when he was in the house. Who cares? He played the gorilla role wonderfully and was absolutely hirarious in it. It was fun to watch him mock the others in the backyard as they were trying to figure out the puzzle phrase. And when he made that fart sound after shaking Jessie's hand, I laughed out loud. Dan's eyes got as big as silver dollars when he realized who it was. If you're reading this Jessie, thanks for being such a funny gorilla!

Now let's go over the phrases that these numbskulls came up with. Jerry's first guess was the "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" phrase. And all because there was a giant picture of an ear and an emu with glasses on it in the backyard. I guess parts of that phrase could be considered helpful in the game. His second guess was "diamond's are a girl's best friend" and it was absolutely stupid. That has absolutely nothing to do with the game. Jerry's third guess of "a dog is a man's best friend" was even dumber. This coming from a man that proclaims to do puzzles all the time at home.

Keesha's first guess of "where sleeping dogs lie" was even worse than Jerry's three attempts. So there was a stuffed wolf lying in the backyard. How is that phrase helpful in the game? I thought it was a given. Her second guess of "blew it" was almost one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in Big Brother this season. At least her third guess of "don't count your chickens before your eggs are hatched" made a little bit more sense.

Now remember how I said I thought Keesha's second guess was almost one of the dumbest things I'd heard? The absolute dumbest thing we heard tonight was Memphis guess of "fruitless exit". What in the sam hell does that mean? Have you ever heard of that phrase before? Even if it was a real phrase, how is it helpful? What an idiot he is at puzzles. I expect him to perform poorly in the second part of the HOH competition this week that's for sure.

As we know, Dan won the luxury competition by guessing the phrase "bury the hatchet" and won a trip outside of the house. I was thinking he'd be lying about going to the beach but it turns out it was true. And everybody's suspicions were confirmed when he chose Michelle to go with him. What was interesting was the choices he had. He could have either taken somebody from within the house or somebody from the jury. I think that Michelle was the best choice he could have made -- either her or Ollie rather.

I'm worried for Dan though. Should he have taken the safe route and chosen Memphis or even Jerry? Because he didn't tell them or Keesha that he would be taking Michelle from the jury house. His not telling them could backfire on him big time. The hamsters are usually shown a little video of what special thing that person did when they were out of the house. What will they think when they see Michelle with him? Memphis might feel especially betrayed by that. And don't forget that one of them will be going to the jury house themselves on Wednesday after they've finished their media rounds.

So what about the jurors? Will they be told about Dan possibly choosing one of them for something? If so, would any be perturbed that they weren't chosen? What might Michelle tell them when she returns from her trip? If Big Brother doesn't tell them about it, what excuse will they come up for Michelle's absence from the house? Would Michelle be able to keep her mouth shut about it if she had to keep it a secret?

There could be so many consequences for Dan doing what he did. We'll find out in the next week or so how Dan's decision affected his game. I hope it all works out for him but I'm just not sure.

What did you think about the show tonight? Do you think Dan's nominations really meant anything? Did you think Jessie did a good job as a gorilla in the luxury competition? What do you think about Dan's decision concerning his luxury trip? Do you think he should have chosen differently or disclosed the whole deal to the others? Let me know in the comments!

And here's a scheduling reminder. The episode of Big Brother on Tuesday will be live so I will be liveblogging it here for everybody. It's also on at a special time -- 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT. So don't be late!

Well, Let me be the first to say , I HOPE this taking Manschelle doesn't bite Father Dan in the *ss !.. I mean can she TELL the others ? cause IF she CAN, watch out you have ticked the rest of them off !! Will Memphis find out in the questions if they DO get to the final 2 ? you know, during the questions the Jury gets to ask. I mean what ? Not so sure you could trun that one to your side anyway she is a BITTER witch ! The Jury House has shown us that ! I don't think trip to a beach will take the place of 500,000 for this Woman... Hope you were right Dan...I really do....

HD,

I know this is off topic, but I thought it was important, and if you'll allow me some leeway I promise I'll stay on task the rest of the week.

Kimberly,

Hey Kiddo. It's you're ole' buddy DRATS again. Hope the little'ens are still doing well. They remain in our prayers.

Now then Darlin', I'm gonna do something here I usually prefer not to. However as you're one'a my favourites here in the wacky factory, so I'm gonna make an exception just for you... What am I gonna do? Well, I'm going to be perfectly serious. No sarcasm. No incendiary remarks. Just the straight skinny.

The fact is in some way shape or form everyone is flawed, (present company included) and as you well know I've always been an equal opportunity hamster-smasher. Now that's not to say I'm not more critical of some than others, (clearly I think we all are) but I've taken a jab at just about everyone and I'd be a liar if I claimed I didn't get a kick out of it.

But while some of what I say is pretty benign, (id est, calling Keesha "Flipper" because of that annoying laugh) other comments cut deeper. Why? I'll get there.

Now, even though Benny was pretty succinct (as always my friend) in the previous post there's one thing that wasn't touched upon...

Thing is, I really don't think you've caught on to the whys and wherefores behind Diff, or Benf, or Gray, Dixie, myself, or even the grand pooh-bah of Silly Hamsters, HD being more apt to target April or Michelle..

Why do we give the mother-load of crap to the Aprils, Michelles, Jerrys and Ollies?

It's very simple really... Chivalry. Yeah Darlin', I know what you're saying,

"What could be chivalrous about making fun of someone's appearance or character flaws?"

...and you're quite right. Nothing Kimberly. However, when someone is cruel or hurtful to another, unable (or even unwilling) to defend themselves, we naturally flock to their banner. You yourself have done so on several occasions, (which incidentally is why I like you so much) and you do it because from your perspective the strong are attacking the weak.

Case in point: April, who spends days on end wallowing in verbal self-satisfaction (probably because of inward insecurities) attacks Keesha (who has many faults of her own, but arrogance isn't among them) on a front with no bearing in reality whatsoever; her weight. Ridiculous, you must agree. Moreover, she (April) does so in such a cowardly manner as to deny Keesha the ability to defend herself.

And there it is... The STRONG attack the WEAK, and in come the Knights of the Octagonal Table, (Diff, Gray, SuZieQ, xtex, and others) to verbally vanquish the venomous dragon.

Unfortunately that's usually right about the time you grab your lance and don your own armour, Kimberly. Which is fine, but there are time's I think you're mistaking the windmill for a dragon.

Perhaps now if you consider the real motivation behind the dark knights you wish to subjugate, maybe you'll make sure to grab the wooden sword next time and leave the steel one back at the castle. I hope so Kimberly. You're my favourite Don Quixote, and while there are times I still think that reality check's lost in the mail ;) I really do think you're a groovy gal.

Now, back into the abyss I go,

DRATS

P.S. How much more grievous are the consequences of anger than the causes of it. -Marcus Aurelius.

I agree that Jessie was great in his role as the gorilla. And his "fart" clue at the end was priceless!

I'm with probably everyone else in that I HOPE that Dan's decision to take Michelle is a good one. Maybe they'll give her $$$$ if she can keep her mouth shut? One can only hope.

I can hardly wait to see Tuesday's live show! Thanks HD for keeping us all glued to our keyboards!

Posted by: Dixie at September 7, 2008 07:06 PM

Forgot they showed hgs a clip of the outing. Yes, I think Memphis will feel betrayed. I'm worried for Dan, too. About Jesse being the Gorilla, he did a great job. I forgot Jesse could be funny, but a couple days ago I watched the clip of the Variety Show the hgs put on. Must have been the first week or so, before the hgs got all wrapped up in the paranoia of the game. LOL, Jesse was so funny as the Frenchman opposite Memphis's gay antique man. So funny. Anyway, hope Dan is still thinking straight, this move could hurt him so close to the finish. He has played an amazing game.

Posted by: kathi at September 7, 2008 07:08 PM

I think Dan made the best choice, considering the possibilities. Now will he fess up to Memphis about taking Manschelle or just hope it doesn't bite him later.

Jessie did a great job as the gorilla and you're right HD, the guesses were lame.

Must be getting real boring in there if the most interesting thing they have to show is Memphis feeding there pet spider. Why not show some of the fireworks in the Jury House instead. At least let us know if April and Ollie are getting trays of food placed outside their door so they can eat between romps. lol

Posted by: shawkii at September 7, 2008 07:11 PM

Could be a plus for Dan (and Keesha) if Michelle was able to tell Dan how much the jury still hates Keesha. Dan is really playing down his trip but I'm sure it was a lot better than what he's putting on. Won't be good for Dan if Michelle tells all, but he could just claim that he just didn't want to have to choose between the 3 because he likes them all so much.

Posted by: Rosella at September 7, 2008 07:11 PM

i thought jerry showed the azz he is ....and i thought keeshas blue it was pretty funny....better than jerry...memp had to make a guess and that was obvious....i hope that michelle told dan that everyone in the jury would vote for him over keesha except renny....they have to keep keesh!!!!! yes, i really want keesh kept over the old fart..she has done a great job in this game and deserves to get to the final three at least...i really would like to see her final two with dan....did ya'll see her talking to dan and memp last night...she finally reminded them that april, ollie, libra and michelle would NEVER vote for her...and i hope that sunk into their heads...i really think dan sees keesh as a sister and nothing else....everyone seems to think they like each other but after last nights conversation i really think they feel a bro and sis connection....PLEASE DEAR GOD....HAVE THEM GET RID OF JERRY....PLEASE!!!!!!

Posted by: debi at September 7, 2008 07:13 PM

I'm sorry. April and Ollie wouldn't need food trays. How many calories can you burn in 3 minutes?

From HD - LMAO!

Posted by: shawkii at September 7, 2008 07:18 PM

I hope Dan made the right decision. I guess we'll find out later. But I think it is a big risk taking Michelle. Even if he gets her vote, he stands to lose Keesha or Memphis vote whoever is in the jury if Dan makes F2.

Jessie did a great job as the gorilla. Didn't like him in the house but give him credit on this one.

When Memphis uses the POV to save himself I'll really be pissed if he votes out Keesha. Jerry has to go then I don't carewho wins the money. If they vote Keesha out I will say it now. I'll hope Jerry wins the 500K and Dan the 50K. Keesha deserves at least F3.

Posted by: absolon at September 7, 2008 07:19 PM

You know, sometimes I feel I watch a different show than the rest of you. I don't think the jury house hates keesha over dan! The only one who really LOATHES keesha is april. did you see the jury house the other night? Most of them had something bad to say about DAN, not keesha. I think dan is the only one keesha can beat IMO. I just don't know about jerry in final 2, sometimes I think the others just tolerated him out of necessity/numbers. Don't think they really card for him at all. Why would libra vote for dan over keesha by the way? Thought they left things on pretty good terms, did I miss something? I hope they keep keesha for final 3. After all, their @sses would be gone if it wasnt for her, at least give her shot!!!

Posted by: stacey at September 7, 2008 07:22 PM

Hi HD!
Ok first of all I really enjoyed the show tonight. However, I am really bad at puzzles like that, and so when Memphis gave his guess I was thinking, that would be something I would say! :D

On the Dan thing, I think he must tell Memphis and maybe even Keesha what is going on if he wants their respect and vote in the jury house, just to cover all bases. I feel the choice was a great game move, however he has been very honest with Memphis and Keesha and they may feel betrayed when they find out.

Also, I hope Dan's girlfriend, Monica, does not flip out. She did send him that stupid "TAKEN" t-shirt. Hopefully she will understand it is all for the game. Not that I think he would hook-up with Manchelle! EEWWW!

Well, that's it, thanks for all the updating!
I am so happy for this season, I feel like it is finally back to gameplay instead of just another reality show!

Posted by: Gwheez at September 7, 2008 07:28 PM

Drats - spoken like a poet as always. What would we do without the likes of Kimberly? A debate is not a debate without at least 2 points of view. Thank you Kimberly...

And shawkii - you get the reward for the best one-liner of the season... LOL

Posted by: Dixie at September 7, 2008 07:33 PM

I'm Back...I forgot to mention the great performance that Jessie did as the Gorilla Man...he must have been simply dying in that suit...it was hot outdoors. I loved that he let them know it was him as he exited...though it seems only DAN is the one paying close attention to everything going on at this point. For the others to guess before it was all they can see was ludicrous and it was not surprising that their guesses made no sense. Dan is definitely THE MAN.

Posted by: gerry at September 7, 2008 07:33 PM

I thought it was a very good show tonight. The best part being Jessie. In the BB house, Jessie had no personality except an egotistical egghead, but his appearance in the comp, showed he is a good sport and did have a rather funny and human side to him. I didn't like your gameplay Jessie, and I think a lot of that came from aligning yourself with Michelle, but you did a great job in the comp. Dan knew instantly after that sound, that it was Jessie. How funny!
I think given the options he had, Dan made the right choice. Against Memphis, he'd have Rennys vote. Against Keesha, not. I think he would have Libra over either Memphis or Keesha. He won't get April or Ollies vote, except maybe April's, should it be Keesha next to him. I really don't think he had any other choice but to try and make nice with Michelle for a vote. The boy is always thinking! Hope it works to his advantage.
Jerry in DR was a joke! The man is such an ass. At least Memphis said, I know this doesn't mean anything! Jerry really thought his were correct until the clues were covered up. He was so stupid to guess right away.
If I was Dan, I would be slinging some shit when I returned, depending on what he has been told will air to the other HG's. If Michelle is to be kept quiet, I'd have a huge line of shit ready to tell the others when I got back. Maybe, finding clues on the beach or some other such shit.
Well, I have rambled on like I was writing to my brother.
Out..

Posted by: diff at September 7, 2008 07:34 PM

I too think this could backfire in a number of ways for Dan here. This could seriously anger the remaining houseguests. Jerry seems to have already figured it out, saying he's probably going to a beach at the jury house. Sometimes he can be really shrewd, and sometimes a complete fool (See guesses from above!) Remember Dan is not a good liar (remember how everyone figured out he was AP). So all 3 are probably very suspicious right now. This could obviously make the other jury members jealous. How could Michelle not tell them, unless they require her to do so? Finally, Michelle could lie to him, saying the jury loves him and his gameplay, and then go to the house and tell them lies about Dan, too. Or as another poster said, she could tell him she has his vote, and then vote against him as payback. Since Dan and her never really liked each other, I don't think he is smooth enough to pull this off, and it will come across as calculated and phony.

That being said, I'm not happy with this twist. At least one major BB site agrees (and this one too?) This show has been dodging accusations of producer manipulation the past few seasons, and this won't help any. I don't think there should be any "tampering" with the jury house for anyone. That's why we have one in the first place. And it's just so very convenient Dan has a chance to "bury the hatchet" with his biggest enemy now. I feel the producers strongly want a Renegades final 2, with father Dan from the catholic school to take all.

Michelle was my favorite this season. There. I said it. But if she falls for this ploy, I'll be very disppointed in her.

Posted by: Derek at September 7, 2008 07:40 PM

Dan did such a great job with the luxury comp; nobody else even came close. I think this shows who is the strongest in mental comps. Memphis should have come up with something a little better -- anything, even something like "I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill," or "You can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs."

Posted by: gray at September 7, 2008 07:41 PM

Drats,
Could you come over and help my kids in English, please? They could learn more from you than a boat load of English teachers!!
Always respect,
diff

Posted by: diff at September 7, 2008 07:44 PM

I don't think Memphis would be upset to find out that Dan chose Michelle for the trip. Memphis wants to hide his Renegades alliance above all else so he would not have wanted Dan to take him. And I do hope that Dan learned from Michelle how much they all still hate Keesha and he will keep her over Jerry because of that. It really puzzles me how he could take the chance on having Jerry in the final 2 because of April, Ollie, and Michelle being Jerry's old alliance. Better to end that possibility now rather than take a chance.

Posted by: WheelChairMama at September 7, 2008 07:49 PM

I thought Jesse did a great job...I of course knew from you on here HD that it was indeed him..but honest to God I felt vomit in my throat when he was in DR tonight and took off his mask along with his arrogant remarks...when he "Ffff-MARTed" while shaking Jerry's hand (you said Jesse's hand...no biggy) I about rolled off the couch laughing and kept backing it up!

As far as Dan's decision???? I really think IF he is true to Memphis and their Renegade he should tell him his plan and why...Why you say? Because at this stage of the game he needs to keep one in the house informed and that person needs to be "in the know" no matter what it is and at the end they will both be playing for themselves and
they will have stayed true to each other with "the best man wins"

Just one other thing, did anyone else wonder about Dans' dad's comment in his letter about something like "less words say more" (not a quote) but anyway the letter goes right on to mention names IN ORDER of who is "funny"..I think that was a message for sure!

HELP! HELP! HELP!

I'm in N CA and have tennis on CBS. Checking the CBS website, there is no mention of when BB will be on.

Can someone please help out and letme know if when it will show?

Posted by: Jeff G at September 7, 2008 08:02 PM

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the sight of that Sumo's
Pimple-Scarred Ass not to keep.
For if I dream of such tonight
I'll wake in sweat and trembling fright.

Seriously, did BB have to keep showing us that rear view shot? That was about as pleasant as watching a grizzly bear menstruate in the woods.

Okay, moving on...

The thing I love about Dan, is that he is always 100% in the game. He rarely lets his guard down. He is hungry and his mind is always working. I love when his eyes open wide with serious intent. Watching him camped out on the couch with his big wide eyes, waiting for the perfect time to grab the prize, was priceless. Sometimes I think that Dan believes he is starring in a Jason Bourne film.

I wish I knew whether some things were edits or real time. The quick, suspicious look in Memphis's eyes when Jerry croakily guffawed, while sounding much like the love child of Walter Brennan and Gomer Pyle, "Maybe it's an island near the jury house, hyuck, hyuck," was a little alarming. Dan recovered well though.

I can't imagine Dan wouldn't have asked the DR whether the other houseguests would be informed that Dan took a jury member. Dan usually covers his bases. Remember what he said about the luxury prize answer? "Don't make a move until you know the answer." I think he wouldn't have made a move here either without knowing any such repercussions. BTW, haven't all the other trips outside the house been to a social function of some sort? There's never been anything at stake in any of those outside trips before -- that I remember anyway.

BB loves Dan and they know that America loves him. I don't think they are going to do anything to screw with him. He won a luxury competition, he didn't win a set Dan up for a fall competition. And in picking a trip to an island, Dan is probably doing exactly what BB hoped he would do -- choose the volatile and good for TV Michelle -- and then give her what she felt she was cheated of. A dopey consolation prize, for sure, but...if it works, it works. And I'm not saying BB fixes things, I just think sometimes they do things a little... organically.

Maybe Michelle would keep her mouth shut if BB tells her... "Michelle.. um... this is only the first day of your little island beach resort...and the other 9 days come after the jury vote." Seriously, though, I don't think they'll tell her not to tell the other jurors. Anyone in that house who votes objectively and fairly is going to vote on gameplay anyway. I know April will, because she's the best of the best of the very very best, and she is the best that is in all of us.

Posted by: BenF at September 7, 2008 08:09 PM

Hey Jeff G ...it was on at 7 here in central time it is now 10ish should be airing there anytime after match...3 hours from my time)

Posted by: Mamma B at September 7, 2008 08:12 PM

I would love for the BB twist to be (with Dan getting a big surprise also); for Michelle to come back into the house with Dan and the hg's that are on the block evicted on Tuesday's live show. Then Michelle will get a chance to fight it out with Memphis and Dan for the POV and the final 2...I would LOVE that to be the twist. I am a big Michelle fan and I feel that if Ollie was a better player she would have gotten a better break. I would love for this twist to shake up everyone including the Jury Members. That would be a new twist and it would shake up the game and make SOMETHING finally happen. Things are going to well and everything is too predictable...this move would be VOLCANIC...LOL.

Posted by: gerry at September 7, 2008 08:15 PM

Sarcasm BenF? You? Can't be!!

Posted by: diff at September 7, 2008 08:20 PM

Tonight's episode was good. Dan had a tough choice.

Libra- Already had a trip, would have made everybody mad.

April- will not vote for Dan after he screwed her game up, voted her out, and then "embarrassed" her BF.

Michelle- I really don't think taking her will make a difference, I still think she will vote for anybody other than Dan.

Ollie- will do what April wants which means NO Dan

Renny- Could vote for Memphis, will vote for Keesha, only sure thing is VS Jerry.

Keesha- seems closer to Memphis

Jerry-Probably will vote for Memphis

Memphis- Unless Dan screws him, will vote for Dan.

He might should have picked Renny, he don't have her vote in his back pocket.

Posted by: rennyfan at September 7, 2008 08:22 PM

Thanks, Mamma B. It was scheduled to be on at 7:00 pm my time, but as of 8:25, still tennis.

Hope tennis didn't go 3 sets.

Posted by: Jeff G at September 7, 2008 08:22 PM

Sounds like a really good show, to bad when I turned on the tv to watch it all I got is Tennis, yes Tennis, what the f**k is that? Hopefully after Tennis, it will come on late. I think it is really dumb for Dan to take Michele. I am shocked. But with his luck he will be OK. I just hope Memphis doesn't find out. He might use it against Dan if he wins next HOH. The jurors, I think, will hold it against him. I guess Dan doesn't care about winning the 500,000 or something. Or he is not thinking, who knows. Can't wait to find out.

Posted by: xtex88 at September 7, 2008 08:29 PM

Rennyfan: I think there's an ongoing question as to whether Ollie is actually April's BF or her FB.

Posted by: BenF at September 7, 2008 08:29 PM

i knew it, said it, he would get 1 up in the jury house. On the west coast here and still Tennis. What I want to know is how 2 dummies living in SO Ca do not know that Catalina Island is 26 miles across the sea??? AND old man Wrigley from the Wrigley GUM owned the Island! Wow guess they never get out of their neighborhood. I know Keesha said she had been to Northern CA, VENTURA LOL. Right now at this point I really don't care who wins, it is so boring.

Posted by: Mizzminney at September 7, 2008 08:45 PM

Sorry I meant 22 miles. I think as I recall Dan had the milage right on. I used to fish on the back side of Island and I think that may have been where they went otherwise I am sure he would have mentioned Avalon, you cannot miss it unless you fly out and around.

Posted by: Mizzminney at September 7, 2008 08:49 PM

Benny,

I think you nailed it pal. As I commented a few days ago regarding Dan's mindset in taking the She-Troll,

"...he plays to her irrational perception of being wronged without provocation, as well as her false sense of entitlement."

However, while his strategy is admirable and I can appreciate his intent, I'm not sold on it necessarily working to his advantage. It depends on just how vindictive Manchelle is and whether Sir Dan can placate a Dragon hell-bent on devouring an entire village with an offering of a single goat.

We'll just have to see.

Diff & Dixie,

Thank you for your kind words. I do what I can my friends. I count Kimberly (as I do all of you) a dear friend. As stronger steel is born of fire, so too our differences solidify our fellowship.

We all wear masks here. Mine is just darker than most. However, I'm sure I once read Something about someone who,

"masquerades as an angel of light."

Perhaps, I'm just trying to turn the table and beat the bastard at his own game.

DRATS

So idiot Memphis has decided to take Jerry to final 3 I think that this will bite him in the butt. If Jerry makes 2 he wins. If either of the boys were up against K they would have won.

Posted by: fred at September 7, 2008 09:01 PM

Sorry I don't know what FB means.

I think if Dan had been upfront with Ollie, he may have considered voting for him more.

Looks like we've been hosed on the West coast. CBS (Channel 2) aired the flippen tennis match during the 8 o'clock hour and now at 9:00 they're playing "60 Minutes".

Sod it all,

Does anyone know what time BB wll be on in CA? No show tonight due to tennis :(

What can I say Diff; it makes me happy. :)

Drats, loved the dragon line. Of course I still think Michelle is more of a Puff the Magic Dragon than an actual fire-breathing destroyer. But I am surprised you haven't thrown in a "She-Grendel" yet. I'm sure you were headed there though. :)

HD I was attempting to be sensational while still remaining coy and demure with my FB, but you just ripped my underpants right off me and left me naked on the beach, didn't you? :)

Posted by: BenF at September 7, 2008 09:25 PM

I can't imagine what the rest of the jury thinks of Michelle's trip. I'M sure all Michelle was thinking was, it's not Hawaii AND I was Jesse was here.

Benny,

Damn it all, you spoiled my thunder again. I was gonna do the whole "Lord of the Veto" routine later this week. Can't ya just picture Manchelle cowering in the shadows holding Ape-Ho's gold bar mumbling,

"Yeeees, my precious."

And Ape-Ho. How about "Bimbo Baggins"? But no. Now I'm gonna have to come up with a new idea. Thanx a bundle pal. LOL.

Mizzminney: "26 Miles Across the Sea" was a hit record by the Four Preps around 1959. The actual distance is different (22 miles Santa Catalina south by southwest of LA), but was changed because 26 Miles worked better lyrically and musically. The song can be heard on YouTube.

All I asked for was simply to get rid of Jerry. Was that too much to ask for? I've been rooting for Dan and Memphis for weeks and things were going great right up to Memphis' latest POV.

If they pick Jerry over Keesha for Final 3 and Jerry wins, it will disgust me even more than the ED win from BB8.

I'm curious how much information was given to Dan and to the Jury Member (Michelle) about this trip. Michelle was quoted in the Jury House as wanting to do physical harm to Dan. Would she have been told it was Dan before going? Would she be sworn to secrecy? Would she have the right to refuse to go?

Dan should have told Memphis he was going to take Michelle, especially if she isn't sworn to silence.

The good news is Dan and Memphis are in the Final 3 and have the opportunity to compete for Final 2. I think at this point Keesha is the weaker player and would be a much better choice for Final 3.

Benny,

Oops. My bad.

You said, "She-Grendel," and for some bloody reason it registered "She-Gollum". So you while you were ambling down the yellow-brick road to Beowulf-ville, I was doing payote buttons in Middle Earth. Sorry.

Guess I need to lay off the Stone Ale, Vertical Epic brew,

I thought it was a great show. The best part was Jesse in the Gorilla suit. Loved it when he gave them a clue just as he was leaving. Dan's face was priceless. Jesse did a great job. I think Dan made a good choice taking Michelle. I also think its a good idea that he didn't tell the other's. Why put doubt in Memphis' head before going on the trip. If Memphis knows that Dan will be around Michelle ahead of time.....during the time that Dan is gone Memphis will probably end up paranoid and will make sure that both he and Keesha or Jerry are in the final two. Dan can worry about telling them after he's back. He's pretty good at talking his way out of situations.

Posted by: Sarah at September 7, 2008 10:05 PM

When Memphis smiles, he looks like a ferret, he acts like a ferret, and he is a ferret for as much human emotion as he is capable of. He's a cold S.O.B. I suppose he follows Will's mold of hating everybody, but not really. He doesn't hate, he doesn't love, he's flat line. But he's still not as hot or cool as Dr. Will.

Posted by: Dee at September 7, 2008 10:10 PM

Dutch, maybe they put Dan in the ape suit and told him to make the fart noise and pretend to be Jessie, and as Jessie, tell Michelle that he had to wear the monkey suit because non-jury members could not come into direct contact with sequestered houseguests, and that he was there to convince Michelle that if she was ever really friends with him that she should vote for Dan because he is actually a really good guy and an okay dude.

On second thought, Dan's completely wiped out and passed out in a sweet curled up ball on his HOH bed right now. Maybe he had to offer up his non-homosexual variety anal virginity (as Jessie or as Dan) to Michelle on the beach. (No, Dan's never said he's a virgin (anal or otherwise) that I know of, but for the sake of the nuns at St. Mary's...)

Posted by: BenF at September 7, 2008 10:21 PM

Finally got to see the show tonight. Jam packed that is for sure. I loved Jessie, he was really good. But my favorite part of the show that made me lol was when Dan came into the living room and asked if anyone wanted to see his room and no one was there and all we heard was crickets, that was so cute. Looks like Dan is back and sleeping. I can't wait to see how his trip plays out.

Posted by: xtex88 at September 7, 2008 11:06 PM

I think Dan needs to let Memphis know, and in a way that won't make him think it's a bad move. If anyone can find a way to spin this in a way that looks positive for Memphis, then Dan will.

however, Memphis's reaction will make or break Dan's success in the rest of the game. They are dependent on each other. I think Dan knows that.

Posted by: GB at September 7, 2008 11:14 PM

Dutch, I caught the milage slip right after I hit send and corrected it.Having made the trip to many times to count I should have got it right because Dan even said he was watching the GPS and said 22 miles I believe. OMG the Four Preps, that was my time. LOL!! Many secluded spots on the Island so imagine they had no problems being alone.

Posted by: mizzminney at September 7, 2008 11:16 PM

I think Dan made a stupid move choosing Michelle to go to the beach with him. Michelle knows Dan is only trying to secure a vote and she is not going to fall for this. Michelle is to bitter and I do not see how spending 5-6 hours on a beach in California having lunch will really impact her much. Dan needs to fess up to Keesha or Memphis if they are evicted. BB may have told him he can not tell them though.

I have a gut feeling that the beach trip did not go well. Dan now wants to take Jerry's 4K from him. That leads me to believe that he wants to keep Jerry over Keesha. Memphis does not want to take the money from Jerry but we will see if he goes along with Dan anyway. I think that it is wrong to do that to Jerry and that Dan is getting a big head and becomming a jerk. They can keep Jerry without taking his money. Dan will just seal the deal for another enemy in the jury house if he does this. What an idiot. Dan must know he is going to come in 2nd if he gets to final two so he is going to plunder all of the money that he can.

Posted by: Debra at September 8, 2008 03:18 AM

Unless someone knows for certain that Dan will be in the final two, I do not know the purpose of taking a jury member along to "bury the hatchet." There are a whole lot of assumptions going on with the introduction of that choice because although Dan is guaranteed final 3, he is NOT guaranteed final 2 unless I am missing something. I mean, chances are, he WILL be in the final 2, however this whole luxury comp seems a bit presumptive if you ask me.

From HD - Anybody could have won it, even Keesha who will probably be evicted tomorrow.

Posted by: Karen at September 8, 2008 03:24 AM

HD...this is my first post on here...even though i have read this blog for years. i enjoy your takes on the game and 99% of the time i agree with you...i guess thats why i keep coming back.

you didn't mention the edit that dan got on last night's show. they showed dan only guessing 1 time, when us feed viewers know he guessed 3 times. why would BB edit it like that?

but i'm glad they made jerry look stupid finally instead of a saint.

thanks for the great job you do.

Posted by: eiram at September 8, 2008 04:04 AM

To the beach, big deal. I think it would be funny as hell if Michelle says thanks but no thanks. If she has a couple of days to think about it she'll figure out what he's up to. If they give her a few minutes, she'll probably jump at it. I'd love to see Danny boy wondering around the beach alone. Hilarious....

Posted by: cindy at September 8, 2008 05:41 AM

Cindy that would be great! But I bet Michelle is only told she has been selected by a houseguest and doesn't know who she's gonna meet. That way if this is set up for Dan like I think it is, he'll have the complete upper hand, and she won't have time to think of ways to mess with Dan's game. I really don't see her not going and passing up a chance to be on TV again. If it were me, I'd rather stay in the jury house around the pool with people I liked than go to a beach with someone I wanted to "do physical harm to". I'm sure Tuesday we'll see footage of Dan smarming Michelle with his 12-year old, bowlegged body (according to Jerry!), wearing those dirty clothes he's never washed, and then yelling into the DR of how he played Michelle (again). Not just getting her vote, but getting vital info., such as who to keep this week etc. Please Michelle be smarter than this!

Posted by: Derek at September 8, 2008 06:59 AM

I don't know if Dan made the right call or not.
Kind of think he did right by not choosing a fellow houseguest to go cause how could he choose, Jerry even said he was surprised that Dan didn't choose Memphis to go. Not exactly fair to choose one over the other. If he's smart and if it would work out, when he got back... he hopefully told them that he found out once he left that he could choose a jury member to go with him. They had already suspected that the jury might be involved anyways.
I really hope that M&D will take Keesha to the final 3... if they don't, I really think they may end up kicking themselves HARD. Jerry just might end up winning the whole thing. I personally do not want to see that happening.

Posted by: Rebb at September 8, 2008 07:33 AM

Dan needs to tell Michelle, that he won this and after he decided not to take anyone out of the house because it was too hard to decide, that before he left he had to decide on a juror. Put it back on Big Brother!! When he returns he keeps to that same scenerio and tells everyone he picked Michelle. Pretty simply!! Dan's a smart boy and hopefully he can figure that one out. :-)

Go Dan, Keesha and Memphis - Jerry needs to go bye bye.

Posted by: Cirsey at September 8, 2008 07:39 AM

I can't believe that nobody in the house gave any thought to the clue "Bury the Hatchet". While Dan was gone I would have thought someone would have thought about the phrase, that Dan went alone on his trip and put two and two together to figure out that he was going to get to "bury the hatchet" with a jury member. They just don't seem to catch on to anything. Dan figured out there was an envelope under the wrestler, Dan recognized the sound that the gorilla made and realized it was Jesse. The other HGs just seem to never have a thinking cap on, especially Memphis and Keesha.

Posted by: Pam at September 8, 2008 07:49 AM

HD -- Just when you and I both thought I had nothing further to say:

I think the way the houseguests tried to solve/answer the puzzle is telling of their personality, intelligence, and spirit and reflects how, IMO, it should play out for final 3 (why, if Memphis and Dan were making the right decision, they should choose Keesha over Jerry). It also reflects why Dan should come out the winner in the remaining competitions.

Jerry will jump at the first thing to hop into his mind. His answers were walking cliches. Jerry is a walking cliche. Unfortunately, sometimes people who jump quickly at things, end up getting lucky. Underestimating Jerry is going to be a big mistake.

Keesha doesn't jump immediately at her answers, but she tries like heck to come up with something; and although she has a sharp mind about some things (which Memphis and Dan concur on), it's hard for her to think outside the box, thus ending up with weak unimaginative responses. Keesha's a real fighter, but she's a passive fighter; she's a game player but she doesn't fight hard enough, so it is going to keep her from the prize.

Memphis doesn't try hard enough. He'll give up easily. He limits himself on what he can do and cannot do, and when pushed, his brain and body shut down.

And Dan? Dan's the man: Stays alert, stays strong, never gives in, and doesn't waste his mojo until he knows what's up.

Finally, if Dan and Memphis do pick Jerry, will Memphis quickly give the physical/endurance comp to Dan, and then go head to head with Jerry in the mental? Or will Memphis talk Dan into giving him the physical, so that Dan can take Jerry on in the final? Or will they battle out the physical?

Whatever happens, it will be interesting to finally find out if Memphis and Dan have equally been bullshitting one another, and have no intention of taking the other to final 2.

THANK YOU Hamster Dame!!
Last night's Big Brother was NOT ON in my area due to coverage of the US OPEN tennis champoinship...
Talk about MAD- I haven't missed a single episode, and really did NOT WANT TO miss the one last nignt.
Thanks to your info at least now I'm not TOTALLY in the dark!!
You are great, and thanks for being here!!
I hope to not miss any more!!
See ya soon!
Lilabella
PS- I hope either Dan or Memphis win- just not Jerry! After Renny was out, it really needs to be one of the guys. I DO think stragetically Dan is the better player!!

Posted by: Lilabella at September 8, 2008 07:52 AM

M/D would be wiser to take Keesha. She just looks out of it, game over. Jerry still has a fire in him. Funny to see Jerry trying to figure things out with M/D.

Hopefully Michelle can get over it and remember it really is just a game and appreciate Dan's gameplay.

It will be fun if M/D are in final 2, both are real gamers!

Thanks again HD for your great insight!

Posted by: oaminmn at September 8, 2008 08:08 AM

I keep asking this, no one has answered it for me yet. Why wouldn't libra vote for keesha in f2? Weren't they friends in the house or did I miss something? I hope they send jerry packing tomorrow and keep keesha. Besides me liking her and wanting her to win, she deserves to be there!! If it wasn't for her, D/M wouldn't still be there! I know it is a contest for $ but you got to give her a chance in f3 just for getting you (i am talking about d/m) this far. I think she could really rally hard for that final hoh though, she has won two hoh and pov's so you never know! You can't however put it past jerry to win, he can pull some miracles thru and has before. They would be stupid to take him to final 3! I like memphis, but he doesn't do much but let dan carry him to the end, has anyone ever won the game without ever winning hoh? He's pulled a couple povs thru here at the end, but is it too little to late? I think keesha could beat any one of them in final 2, it all depends on the ill feelings the jh have about dan!

Posted by: stacey at September 8, 2008 08:49 AM

I think Dan made a stupid move choosing Michelle to go to the beach with him. Michelle knows Dan is only trying to secure a vote and she is not going to fall for this.

What if she doesn't fall for it? Is Dan in any worse position? Taking Manchelle doesn't cost him anything and it might help him, so it is a smart move. Smart moves are made by smart guys, and that is what Dan is. He can just tell her that he could to offer the day trip to anyone, but he chose her and only her to experience the lovely waduh of Catalina. Now, ain't that just the sweetest thing of Dan to do?

Posted by: gray at September 8, 2008 09:30 AM

I think Dan shouldn't of choosen anyone to go with him, that way he won't piss off any of the juror's or any of his current house-mates. It might sound greedy but that way would cut the risk of back firing big time.
The competition last night really showed their brains are slowing down big time in the house! Dan nailed it as he is always thinking and looking ahead of the game for all his options!

Your site is awesome, daily updates are great info. I agree with most here, the feeds of the juror's would be a welcome site as the house guests are pretty boring. Has there been any "beer pong" this year?

Posted by: KatieK at September 8, 2008 09:33 AM

If Dan can't get Michelle's vote on the beach excursion...he could at least get her drunk and "Back Door" her again ;)

Posted by: Andeedoh at September 8, 2008 09:39 AM

Okay - I get why Memphis would want to take Dan to final two. The jury house hates Dan. But why would Dan want to take Memphis? The only person who apparently hates Memphis is Jerry. Memphis will win against Dan. If Dan is as smart as we think he is, why hasn't he figured this out? Personally, I think that its his misogyny in action. He's a "guy's guy" and the thought of a woman president caused him to want to move out of the country. Why would he take a female with him to final two? THIS is the part of Dan I don't like at all.

But I have been impressed with Dan's game play in the past few weeks - - once he stopped throwing (most of) the competitions. But the jury isn't going to see this and I'm not sure, even if they did, that they would care, given how their feelings were hurt and they seem to respond emotionally rather than logically.

Michelle is delusional. Dan knows that. I think that Dan can work it to his advantage. Do you know why politicians shake people's hands? Because if you've shaken one politician's hand and not the other, you *think* that you know the one - - - or are more closely connected with the one whose hand you shook - - - and you'll vote for that person. It's like a six-degrees-of-separation thing.

So, Michelle - when it comes time to vote - might delude herself into thinking, "Hey, Dan took me to a private beach. He must like me. Maybe if he wins the money and I can get him to ditch this Monica chick, who probably doesn't look anywhere near as hot as I do in a red unitard, we can run off into the sunset together." Or she might think that Dan will be more likely to share the money he wins with her than would any of the other contestants.

Could Michelle have told Dan that she'd vote for him if he would get Jerry's gold bars and give them to her?

On to Keesha. She is a genuine good person. That has revealed itself throughout the season, but even more so recently. Despite how much she dislikes Jerry, she wanted to share her wine with him and felt bad leaving him alone in the house. Annoying laugh and voice aside, she deserves to win the money based on the "goodness" factor, while Dan deserves to win the money based on the "strategy" he's used. Keesha, as nice as she may be, is NOT a competitor.

Thumbs up to Jerry for lasting as long as he has . . . but he's not a nice person and any strategy he's applied dims in comparison to his yuck factor. I don't see either Keesha or Jerry making it to final two. Dan will win HOH again and take Memphis or Memphis will win (to get letters from home - - Dan will throw it to him) and take Dan.

Since neither will make it to final two, isn't there a "slight" advantage to the house guest who leaves first? Don't they get paid for their length of time in the jury house - - so the one who makes it to final three, but not final two, will receive the least amount of pay of all the jurors?

I think that Keesha will be mad when she is evicted and hold it against whichever house guest was responsible. So strategically, Dan should try to get it to fall on Memphis this week. No way will Jerry vote for Dan, anyway - so who cares if Dan ultimately has to kick Jerry out.

Ideally, I'd like to see Dan win it, with Keesha in second place, Memphis third and Jerry fourth. BUT, I think what's going to happen is that Memphis is going to win it, with Dan in second place, Jerry third and Keesha fourth.

Posted by: Coleen with one "L" at September 8, 2008 10:27 AM

Does anyone know if Michele accepted Dan's offer to go with him to that private beach?

Posted by: xtex88 at September 8, 2008 10:31 AM

I wasn't aware that Michelle had the choice to go or not. Wouldn't it be a surprise for her to be just taken out of the jury house and flown to the island with no explanations until she got there?

Posted by: Linda at September 8, 2008 10:54 AM

HD:

I have to compliment you on the title of this installment of your blog. Very clever!

If Dan and Memphis vote out Keesha, I hope Jerry ends up taking it all the way. I can't believe I said that, but I will be very mad if they are not loyal to her.

Posted by: shopgirl at September 8, 2008 10:59 AM

I agree shopgirl. If it wasn't for Keesha the guys wouldn't be where they are right now. She does earn the right to be in final 3. They should give her the chance to go for it, since she helped them along. If they take Jerry and he wins it, they deserve what they get.

Posted by: Linda at September 8, 2008 11:07 AM

Maybe Dan should tell the other HG that when he got to the beach he was told he could pick one jury member to join him.

Posted by: Jami at September 8, 2008 11:08 AM

Im pissed!
Ive been watching the show since season 1 and I know better than to think my fave will win...but
are these guys SOOOOO f'n stupid that are REALLY going to vote Keesha out THIS week?!!!
BAS-TARDS!
I dont like Jerry but...karma will kick those 2 boys right in the arse and Jerry will win.
Dan "BLEW IT" by lying about the trip.He could have explained his postion to the others and they would have been cool.At least cooler than when they find out he lied.
As for Memphis, well he told them all Jerry had to go or this would happen, then what, maybe he forgot?
Oh thats right he got greedy and started thinking he had it in the bag.
Losers handed this game to Jerry.
Im starting to hope he wins the HOH
Gaaaahhhhhhh

Posted by: maru at September 8, 2008 01:03 PM

I am with you maru I am hoping Jerry wins and Memphis trying to get that money out of Jerry should be a clue to him that that old man will never give up. They are way to cocky, but then who know? Keesha may do some damage at the jury house when she gets there,

Posted by: mizzminney at September 8, 2008 01:17 PM

If they vote out Keesha, I'm voting for her to win America's Favorite.

Posted by: Maggie at September 8, 2008 01:18 PM

Jami, if he were to tell them that now, he would have to admit that he lied when he first got back to the house and told them that he was alone. For some reason I don't think that would go over so well.

Xtex88, haven't checked any sites today but last night after Dan returned, he said to himself up in the HOH, "Another one for the good guy(s)." I am assuming that means that Michelle was there, and that it went well. Maybe he played the Catholic/sinner/confession card. "Michelle, ever since I evicted you I haven't been able to get a wink of sleep. Look at the dark rings under my eyes Michelle, LOOK AT THEM!!! What I did was horrific. I'm a Catholic school teacher and I know how bad it is going to go for me. I've probably been fired. I wish I could take it back. I can't. I live with deep sorrow and shame. I will go to confession the minute i get back. You don't have to believe me, but I really, really like you and I hate that I voted you out. It was the work of the devil Michelle, and I might just have to look into an exorcist when I get out of here. May I borrow yours? Please Michelle, PLEASE HELP ME!!!"

Or maybe he told her "Michelle, you and Ollie were growing so close, and I was worried for your sexual health. With April out of the house I was 99% positive that Ollie was coming after you to get you into bed, where he would pass on one of April's STDs to you. I couldn't let that happen."

Stacey, I believe that Libra absolutely would consider voting for Keesha. The person I don't think Libra would ever vote for, is Jerry.

Pam, I couldn't agree with you more. Why is Bury the Hatchet not resonating to any of them. Well actually, Jerry is trying to make it resonate but it is getting lost in the cobwebs.

Posted by: BenF at September 8, 2008 01:21 PM

I hope all of this coniving blows up in Dan and Memphis's face. I cannot stand Memphis's cowardice with Keesha and his trying to get the money from Jerry was just ridiculous

If they take that old basrd to the end, then he deserves to win...period. Ohhhhh I can't stand any of those idiot men now!

Posted by: Jan at September 8, 2008 01:23 PM

"I keep asking this, no one has answered it for me yet. Why wouldn't libra vote for keesha in f2? Weren't they friends in the house or did I miss something?"

Stacey - I'll take that one.. and it's pretty simple. Libra is a student of the Big Brother game. It wasn't the "HouseGuests" that figured out Dan was America's Player... It was Libra. She might still be in the game if she had learned to keep her trap shut and not tell everything that she knew to everyone that would listen. She will vote for Dan because he out played her and everyone else. Period.

Posted by: Dixie at September 8, 2008 01:29 PM

I, too would prefer that they keep Keesha as she has helped Dan and Memphis stay in the game. However, we have to remember that by keeping them she also did it to help herself get further in the game. If either one of them had been voted out early on we might still have April and Ollie and Michelle in the game.

I really think Dan wants to keep her but on the other hand if Memphis is the one to send her out, that benefits Dan if he is in the F2. She will probably vote for Dan because of that and also I think she liked him better than Memphis. I think tht Renny will also vote for Dan over Memphis because if you watched closely in her exit hugs she not only hugged Dan, like she did the others but as she hugged him she reached her hand up to his head and pulled it close to her. That is a "motherly hug" if I ever saw one.

Regarding taking Michelle on the Luxury trip, good idea and my hope is that they had some type of contest in the jury house in which they gave Michelle the win and thats how they got her out of the house without any suspicion from the others. I also hope that she was told she can't talk about it when she returned and that there will be no video of the trip in the BB house. I know that I may be living in dream land her but why would they give Dan the advantage and than take it away by showing all of this. After all going to the beach for 5 hours isn't much of a luxury when you have a pool in the backyard.

I, want Jerry out of the house so bad and another week of him will drive all of us crazy. Memphis reallt is a nice guy but a little cold-hearted as he can't see past the money and doesn't really consider anyone else's feeling. I think he feels that April, Ollie and Michelle (who really hated Keesha) will vote for him because he was the one to vote her out. Plus since he has a deal with Jerry and Dan he feels safe no matter what he does that he will be kept in the F2.

Posted by: farve fan at September 8, 2008 01:30 PM

Bummer! Now that I see HD's comment that Keesha probably will being going home I am so bummed. I am sure that is what is going to happen too. Shame on both Dan and Memphis. I hope Jerry wins the big bucks now.

Posted by: xtex88 at September 8, 2008 01:45 PM

Maru, my sentiments exactly! But brace yourself, the creeps always seem to win.

Posted by: xtex88 at September 8, 2008 02:01 PM

If they get rid of keesha tuesday and not ever give her a CHANCE at final 3, then I will start rooting for jerry to win and show these two their stupidity! They have counted on her loyalty thru most of the game, but when it gets down to it they aren't loyal to HER! I was rooting for these three since mid-season but the head on these two guys have gotten WAY to big. Of course some if this is b/c i really like keesha and want her to win b/c she has carried this alliance this whole game imo.

Posted by: stacey at September 8, 2008 02:02 PM

First, let me say I think the actual CBS BB10 shows have been the best, BB afterdark on showtime has been extremely boring compared to past seasons and not much better on the live feeds. O.K. now that we saw the luxury comp done I think (to help Dan) Dan should have taken Renny, because if Memphis and Dan have decided to put Keesha out, all he had to do was take Renny tell her things have not worked out as he had hoped and Memphis is going to vote Keesha off against his wishes and he is really showing his true colors. This way he would build Renny up so when Keesha walked through the door Renny would lay it out on the table for Keesha and there you have 2 votes. Not only that Renny can be convincing and most of them like her so who knows who else she could bring along. The choice of Michelle is not going to help that much because everyone will think she is bitter and portray the "drama queen" role that everyone knows all to well.

Posted by: fefesha at September 8, 2008 02:17 PM

D/M/K complain about dirty Jerry but Dan is just as bad. Renny made reference to it several times. I am so sick of seeing him in the same clothes. They have to be so dirty and stinky they could stand up by themselves. Gross... Maybe he's just a poor teacher and can't afford clothes but my bet is he's just a dirty little boy. Did you catch Jerry saying how fat he looked in the pictures. I think he's had work done. Remember Renny's comment about the stretch marks. Or.... maybe he just lost a TON of weight and has no wardrobe.

Posted by: cindy at September 8, 2008 02:19 PM

Dan and Memphis are greedy bastards. I think it says a lot about their character trying to get the $4,000 out of Jerry. Go home you cocky little pigs.

Posted by: cindy at September 8, 2008 02:30 PM

HI!

I think Dan is just going to the location of the jury house. Michelle will meet him somewhere close to the sequester house..JMO..

He had to choose Michelle because her vote could go either way based on the final two..

Oh well..Looking foward to Dan winning the game soon..He has really played the game from day one..

Posted by: ccc3s at September 8, 2008 02:42 PM

Pardon me, I mis-spelled "bastards"...all three deserve their recognition.

Posted by: Jan at September 8, 2008 03:12 PM

Let me begin by stating that I hate Jerry. He is a dirty old man who gives old men a bad name. I'll never forget his comments about writing Keesha's name on his right hand and using it to jack off. He's horrid. She may have an awful laugh but she has never been anything but kind to him and didn't deserve that.

But... I hope that if Dan and Memphis go ahead and dump Keesha like they plan to do so they can take Jerry to the final 3 (thinking he'll be so easy to beat) that Jerry ends up in final 2. I don't care if it is Dan or Memphis who gets sent home because they are both equally guilty. And the fact that now they are trashing Keesha is unforgiveable even though I know they are doing it to "hype" themselves up for the betrayal. So when they dump Keesha and Jerry beats one of them and ends up in the final 2 he will win, I bet you. And as much as I hate him I will cheer when he wins because I can not get over what they did to Keesha nad how they did it.

OUCH! So many mean things being said about our Danny Boy ... let's talk about a couple of them.

1. Dan is playing for 1st place, not second. He doesn't care about Jerry's $4k. He's just trying to set up a vote for himself if he and Memphis are F2. He know's he's the underdog in the voting category right now.

2. Dirty clothes... I'm not positive, but, I think him wearing the same clothes has something to do with his students. It's because the shirt he has chosen to wear all season is a school tee-shirt from where he teaches.. Maybe it's some gag for the kids.. he is otherwise a clean person - showers... washes his hands after peeing.. etc.

3. Being "fatter" and now "skinnier"... hello.. the kid played football all through HS and College... he's not playing anymore.. of course he's taken off the weight. Anyone that has played sport at that level knows this to be a fact.

4. On being "bastards".. now, not sure about Memphis, but I know I've heard Dan say his parents were married when he was born.

Stick your tonge in your cheek and remember that this is a game. A game in which you have to be smart, agile, physically strong, mentally strong and pretty darn lucky for things to fall into place.

A game in which you have to make alliances, break alliances, lie, and vote out everybody else so you can win.

If you don't like all the lying, cheating, backstabbing and unfairness of Big Brother, I think they still show reruns of Heidi on AMC. Lighten up!

I hope Dan Loses!! He has gotten too cocky. Would Love to see Keesha win even though she don't win any challenges.

Technically Keesha's eviction is not Dan's fault this week; because she seemed to think that the nominations actually mattered (we seasoned BB veterans know better ;]), all our pretty dolphin-laughing blond will know is that Dan did not put her up... Dan did not vote her out.

Keesh should logically conclude that Memphis is the culprit.

In my previous post I mentioned that I hoped Dan and all of the hgs get the shock of their life if the twist is that Michelle is allowed back in the house and the two hgs on the block this week go into the Jury house...I would love that twist. I made an error by saying that Michelle would have a chance to win the POV...I meant the HOH and a chance to battle the two guys for the final two giving her a chance to win the game...or even 2nd place...depending if she can win HOH, if not at least in my mind she would have had a chance to go out in her own game play and not someone else's (Ollie) dumb game play. I am a Michelle fan so this scenario is FANTASTIC for me and I think it would BLOW UP the game and add some spice and SUSPENSE to the game...Sadly the last suspense and excitement we the views had at this point of the game was with Dick, Danielle, and Zack, and Jameka. NOW that was a good time. Hopefully, BB will be brave enough to really SHAKE IT!

Wheelchairmama I will be cheering with you and all the other ones who thinks what Dan and Dickhead are doing to Keesha is wrong. I am all about this being a game, but what the f**k, she deserves to be in the final 3. She helped put Dan and dickhead where they are today. I can't believe how I have been for Dan all this time and now if Keesha goes home, which it looks like she is since the DR told Memphis not to tell her she is going home, I will pray, cheer, beg God that Jerry wins. Damn this game can get to you:).

Okay HORRIBLE THOUGHT,,, BUT What IF Manschelle DID go with Dan and said "Take Jerry to the final 2 and I WILL give you my vote !!" OR, get votes FOR you .....OMG I think I may be SICK....yep, here it comes....lol

Posted by: Kells at September 8, 2008 04:27 PM

gerry - Michelle LOST and was evicted. If they ever brought her back at this point of the game and let her compete, I for one would never watch again. I believe others would feel the same.

I'm not understanding some of the logic that I am reading on here. Several people have posted that they hate Jerry so much, that they hope Jerry wins if Dan and Memphis remove Keesha instead of Jerry (even though it's Memphis's decision alone). We hate Jerry, therefore we hope Jerry wins all the money if those other two don't get rid of Jerry. WTF???

Now if I hate Jerry, which I do, then I hope he does not win the money no matter what anybody else does. Am I right or am I wrong? Don't answer that. I'm right.

From HD - You're right! :)

OK, several others have stated and I agree with them, I do not want Dan and Memphis to kick Keesha to the curb at this late juncture. They have been a team - and have all had a part in getting them this far. Jer is the one who should be kicked to the curb. I also think they are not in a better position taking Jer - he has won several of the POV's and a couple of HOH's. Keesha has not.

But... I just can't go as far as wanting Jer to win if the guys to boot Keesha out. I just can't do it. So, if they boot Keesha tomorrow - I don't want any of the final 3 to win... Oh, wait, that wouldn't work. Now what????

From HD - Are many of you forgetting that this is a game? Friendship schmiendship. Most of you have gone all soft on me. Baaaa!

Nobody DESERVES anything in this game. So what Keesha campaigned for votes to keep Memphis in the game. That was weeks ago does he still owe her? He didn't vote to evict her when she was on the block, therefore that debt is paid. Same holds true for Dan.

Did Libra DESERVE to be in the game? It's because of her vote that Memphis is still in the game too.

If Keesha wanted to ensure she would be in the house another week she should've won the POV. Or perhaps done a better job at memorizing the comps that they were shown AGAIN right before Thursday's HOH.

Production is yet again manipulating the game. This is nothing more than Jury Tampering. They should've just sent the last weeks play on DVD to the entire jury house.

Michelle should decline the invitation. She can go to the beach when she gets back to Rhode Island...wtf? If the beach was in Cancun for 5 days and 4 nights I could understand her willingness to want to go. But come on you're getting on a boat and going a couple of miles with Dan nonetheless YUCK!!! I'm sure we will see him laying out in the Sand wearing the SAME ole swim trunks tomorrow.

At this point I could careless which of these four wins the game. There is NOTHING geniune about these idiots. Keesha is tolerating Jerry at this point cause she sees him as a possible jury vote. But suprise Keesha looks like you may be voting on whether Jerry or one of your alliance gets the money at this point. HA!

Oh come on all you Keesha bashers and "Father Dan" lovers! Yes I too loved Dan's game play and his antics at first and then I began to see what Renny was saying about him and also about Memphis being "shifty". Her words were too kind for both of them. I am also a seasoned BB watcher and appreciate game play with the best of them, but when a hustler is let into the BB house like Memphis (business man my ass) and someone who has the views on women like that old man and yes DAN...watch his intro video again..and they are such cowards as to lead Keesha to believe she is staying when they know she is going, then the old man should win, just because the other two let him get in the final 3 in the first place. If he happens to slip into the final 2, he has more chance of winning than Keesha...doesn't ANYONE see that?? How stupid those "men" are.

The show was good. and Jessie was funny. If they vote out Keesha this week and keep Jerry thats and bad move for Dan and Memphis. Jerry won 2POV Keesha won 1 POV but her was because everyone one pass the time.I know Memphis wants Jerry over Keesha because he knows Jerry and Dan will both take him to F2. So it is bad move on Dan and Keesha. I feel if Jerry makes F2 he will win.If they vote out Keesha she will vote for Jerry if he makes F2 Memphis will loss her vote. I feel if Jerry and Memphis F2 votes for Jerry {Ollie, April, Michelle, Keesha, Renny, Dan} Memphis Libra. Dan And Memphis F2 votes for Dan Keesha, Renny, Libra for Memphis Ollie,April, Michelle, Jerry. Keesha F2 with Dan votes for Keesha Renny, Libra votes for Dan Ollie, April, Michelle, Memphis, Jerry. Keesha and Memphis same way. but Dan will be vote not Memphis. I feel Memphis and Dan should take Keesha to F3 she save tham alot. I do not feel Jerry play that good of a game. As the other 3 did.

Hey not me girl! I want all the back stabbin I can get!

just a note about Dan's intro video... I remember a conversation he had with other HG's about their video's. He told them that he'd said the line about moving out of the country if a woman got president on his vid, because a producer told him to say it. He said he realized they were trying to portray him as the super conservative catholic teacher when they made him make those comments, but they were not his thoughts. This conversation was a couple of weeks ago, and I think it was with Memphis on the feeds.

just thought I'd try to clear that one up... thanks for the space HD...

If Memphis and Dan decide to take Jerritol to the final 3 then they both deserve to lose!!! Jerry has done nothing but trash EVERYONE and float along with HOH yelling at which ever hg is singled out for that week. Memphis and Dan need to get some balls and take Keesha to the finals or at least let her know she is going. I did like both of them but I have lost respect for them because they are too lilly livered to let her know they are taking her out!!!!!!

Hey Absolon...I Hate backdooring and doing it by someone else's bad decisions sucks to me. I am sick of this predictable crap since last season where NOBODY is playing the game with surprises and suspense. I just want something to SHAKE UP THE GAME and to put me for one on the edge of my seat. I really haven't cared who won this season...but I do like Michelle. So, If you can't take a little Electric Shock; which is all I would like to see and not people throwing the final comps and handing the game away IN the house, then I feel sorry for you because I am a BB Addict and I love to: "Expect The Unexpected". Peace. :)

Clarification HD, my response above was meant to be very tongue in cheek. Game on.
