Memphis Pulls Through
Good on Memphis for winning the POV early this morning! It sounds as though Jerry did awful, Keesha said she should have done better, and Dan threw it. So it wound up in the perfect hands of Memphis who even said he got a lot wrong. It seems as though they were asked questions about other hamsters this season in case you're wondering.
Now Dan and Memphis have to make a decision on who the want to go to the final three with. They don't know about the schedule change as of yet and believe the POV ceremony will be held on Monday. We know however that the POV ceremony will be live on Tuesday's show as well as an eviction. Also, the first part of the final HOH competition will begin and it will presumably be endurance. I wonder how long it takes for them to figure out the schedule.
I wonder when Dan will have his "trip". Might it be today or tomorrow? And what exactly is it really? I know not to trust what Dan says on this one because he's not going to want them to think it's that great of a luxury. Are they going to have time to show it on Sunday's show?
Below are the Renny appearances with Julie Chen after being evicted and on House Calls. Make sure to check those out when you get a chance.
So what do you think Dan and Memphis are going to do? Will they choose to take Keesha or Jerry with them to the final three? And why do you think that? Let me know!

i sure hope they take keesha, she has been very loyal to both of them, and jerry should of been gone yesterday. i dont care who wins now, i just dont think jerry should be in the final 3.

I'm wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin' it's JERRY!! Time for him to go home.
Posted by: Beth at September 6, 2008 11:38 AM
They will take Jerry, as the HOH competition will be endurance and Keesha has a better chance of "enduring".
Posted by: EDog at September 6, 2008 11:47 AM
After POV last night, Dan and Memphis were talking about keeping Jerry because they think they would have a better chance of beating him in the final comps? Why would they think this since Jerry has won so many POV as well as a couple of HOH? I don't think that either one of them believes that Jerry will be easier to beat to F2 than Keesha. I think they are both considering (to themselves obviously) taking Jerry to F2 because they think they can beat him there with the votes?!
These two super smart, super players, may just play right into the old geezers hands and give him $500K. If they do, they each deserve the outcome and I will give props to the old geezer for being the oldest HG and oldest winner of BB in it's history...
Look at it this way... he'll dethrone Evel Dick, who has well more than his alloted 15 minutes of fame...
Come on Hamsters Dan and Memphis... get your heads out of the sawdust! Send Jerry-atrick to the Jury House where he belongs...
Posted by: Dixie at September 6, 2008 11:48 AM
I hope they get rid of Jerry & I also would be ok with Dan, Memphis or Keesha as the winner. I am surprised they are even considering taking Jerry.
Posted by: Grace at September 6, 2008 12:07 PM
I agree with you 95% Dixie. I hope like heck that Dan realizes Memphis would cut his throat as easily as he will cut Keesha's. But I actually think Dan would take Memphis to F2. I think Memphis would take Jerry. And I think Jerry would take Dan. Hopefully if and when Dan meets up with Michelle, he will suss out how the jury house is feeling and if Michelle is honest, then Dan will report back to Memphis that they should keep Keesha, as I am sure Ollie, April and Michelle would all vote for Jerry against either of them.
Posted by: BenF at September 6, 2008 12:16 PM
I am afraid they are going to keep Paw Paw, which is not how I want this played out but, what are ya gonna do? I think if they give the old geezer half a chance he could win parts 2 & 3 of the final HOH comp and bust up their dream. AND either Dan or Memphis has a better shot of winning votes sitting next to Keesha rather than Jerry.
I think it will be entertaining to see Dan trying to win Michelle over on his trip out of the house, if it is indeed true that he got a choice to take someone from sequester.
I can't wait for Tuesday! Live blogging HD? This is gonna be good, what shall I have for snacks I wonder?

I have been a huge Dan supporter, but if he and Memphis take Jerry to the F3, I'm going to be really mad. There are some points in this game that loyalty should play a part and I will be really disappointed in both of them if they choose Jerry over Keesha.
Posted by: shopgirl at September 6, 2008 12:18 PM
One thing stuck out for me in particular, and that is the HUGE deal Renny made about Jerry's phone call. She did it in the house and she did it here. "He didn't even tell her that he loved her. Believe me, the FIRST thing I would have done would be to tell them that I loved them."
Later, GM asks her if she wants to say anything to her family and the viewers. So, the FIRST thing is how she wants to thank all the fans who love her. Her family is just an afterthought.
Man, this old bag irritates (not as much as April and Manchelle, but they are out already) the crap out of me. What was that about the only thing an old man can do for her is to bring a message from a young man? Renny, do you know that you are an old woman? I know a lot of fans like her, but I just don't get it. Dressing like a New Orleans whorehouse madam is a great sense of style? Meh.
Posted by: gray at September 6, 2008 12:23 PM
I have been a huge Dan supporter, but if he and Memphis take Jerry to the F3, I'm going to be really mad.
Please don't be mad at Dan it that happens. At this point, it is totally Memphis's decision, and I don't think anything Dan says will alter Memphis doing exactly what he wants to do.
If any Renny fans want to wound me for bashing her earlier, just think or say bad things about Dan. I love Dan like Kimberly loves April.
Posted by: gray at September 6, 2008 12:31 PM
Well let me think on this new development. Umm..
If Memphis votes out Keesha, then that would be a good thing for Dan. Memphis would get the blame for the betrayal. Dan could tell her he tried to keep her safe. So he would probably get Renny's and Keesha's votes. Then if Jerry gets Kicked out,he would confirm it to the Jury that he had a F2 deal with Memphis, as did Keesha. It would take the target off of Dan. Since it will happen this week or next, it would be best for Dan this week. Memphis will throw the F3 to Dan if it between those two and then Dan would be the bad guy.
BUT... I Don't want to see anymore of Jerry then absolutely necessary. GET JERRY OUT NOW!!! I would LMAO if he makes it to theF2. As I have said before, Karma has a way of biting you in the A$$
Posted by: Kim at September 6, 2008 12:36 PM
To say Renny is old is very telling of your age. She is middle aged at best. Jerry is 20 years older than her...please!
And what she said to her husband was the sweetest thing...that she didn't think she could love him more but after this experience she does.
She does pander to the camera a little...you can tell she's trying hard to please without seeming like she's trying too hard. But I think I would be the same way. Her nervousness and genuineness shows through.
Posted by: johnnysangel at September 6, 2008 12:38 PM
first off, let me just say, i didn't want renny to win but i do enjoy her a great deal. she kept me laughing this season although some times she got on my nerves :)) she didn't compete as well and that is what killed her game. you got to win to stay in!
her interviews...especially the one on housecalls were superb! i laughed as hard as the grips and the cameramen in the background at times! she has a real talent and i hope to see her somewhere...maybe she can take evil dicks spot next season...i'm so over him! at the end when she was greeting her husband and children i literally bawled...she really touched me...and that's hard to do :)) it was very sincere..what a great woman.
as far as dan throwing the pov comp to memphis, i'll wait to see it with my own eyes. memphis surly didn't realize it. he never said a word to dan or anyone else. is this dan's huge ego again?...or did memphis win it for real? we'll see.
either way, i am THRILLED memphis won the veto. i can rest this entire weekend again without worry.
who memphis will take out this week is beyond confusing but i do realize that he and dan have been really pondering the two choices rather intently. this is so critical at this point. i, for one, am at a lose.
i do hope that somehow memphis lets the jury know that it was a mutual decision for he and dan at the end...team effort on all these last few weeks decisions. i think it is important that the jury understand that all the choices were from both boys. i am willing to bet that dan wants memphis to take the fall for this eviction and memphis needs to relay that it was both of their decisions to the jury... assuming it is dan and memphis at the end....otherwise, memphis has no shot at the big money.
i'm not sure what i will do if jerry makes it to final three this next week. i truly will be sickened by it. i absolutely think this guy deserves nothing...but a swift kick of reality!! he is vile to me and i hope his family lets him know big time that he is awful!
i truly believe you DO NOT need to play the kind of game jerry is playing to win. what a disappointment he turned out to be...BB screwed up badly on him.
if i had my way i would take jerry to final 3. i think if BB does the kind of endurance that is standard final 3 comps jerry won't be able to endure it. i get this impression keesha is holding back. why i have no idea but maybe...to appear weak i guess...or she is just not as good a player in comps as i thought. i am really tired of her crying and pitiful blubbering on about how much jerry is going to trash her this week...all while trashing him!!... so we will see! scary week ahead!
GO MEMPHIS!!
Posted by: callie44 at September 6, 2008 12:44 PM
To say Renny is old is very telling of your age.
It doesn't tell you anything about my age. Maybe I'm old too, but unlike her, I realize it. Or maybe I am twenty years younger than her. I ain't telling.

Hello hello hello Hamster Dame. I love your site so much. I check here often but have not written until now. I am not from America originally but I have a good ear and I think I got the American slang and the music part down okay for this one. And guess what - some of my English I learned from the people on here. But I didn't learn some of the really bad English that some of the people use on here. So here is my first attempt at silly humor in honor of funny You HD and all your funny people like sarcastic Gray, smart Benf, tell it like it is Gregor, feisty Wheelchair Mama and feisty Joy, and silly Drats. And also sometimes Diff. (Only means sometimes you are very serious and sometimes you are funny). Drats I hope you didn't use this song already haha. Shout out for Big Brother and for Wonderful America and also for Gilligan my favorite silly American show except for maybe Lucy! And also Shout Out for Keesha who is so beautiful even without that missing tooth. I will marry you Keesha Marie and give you the babies that Renny-Doo wants for you. You have a beautiful heart. JJ is no good. Memphis and Dan please don't evict my Keesha. And April has an ugly heart and needs to see a psychiatrist. Silly Hamsters rocks! Yeh! Love from Hoos!
The Tale of BB10 Sequester House
Now sit right down and hear a tale
A tale of the ones who've lost.
No chance for the money now, boo hoo hoo.
Here in Sequester House.
First in walks angry Scallywag,
A Scallywag and Ho.
Soon joined by Ape-Ho Four Head-Slut.
For a week long bashing, yo!
Then in comes Man-chelle oh so pissed,
Tossed in by someone's deal.
If not for the cameras of a Nation's watch
Civility would've been lost. Civility would've been lost.
This group then waits for the next to join - who will fall next they think?
The Minuteman?
The Fuck You! Blonde?
The Catholic Boy, with his games?
The Vile Old Man?
Emotionless Cut-Throat Man?
Or Jewel of New Orlanz?
But waiting long isn't in the books,
For here comes another knock,
Walks Punked Man in to Skank-Ho's arms,
There's going to be more sex.
There's going to be more sex.
Another week and another comes,
They've ousted Renny-Doo,
She didn't fight for what she should.
It bit her wacky ass.
They wait, they hope, that the Ones they hate
Will join them right quick soon.
They're pulling for the crusty goon
To make the final two.
So join us here each week posters,
You'll gag, you'll wretch, for sure.
As seven people fill the rooms,
Here in Sequester House.

OMG...what was i thinking?? of course jerry has to go!! after i sent my first comment i couldn't believe what i wrote!! (that i felt jerry should maybe stay to ensure memphis could win). crazy talk for sure!!
this old man, who i have wanted to leave from week two...has to go!!!
i have to say that at this point i don't care who goes to final 2 and who wins the big money...AS LONG AS IT ISN'T JERRY!!!
JERRY NEEDS TO GO AND NOW!!!!
Posted by: Callie44 at September 6, 2008 12:55 PM
is it me or does anyone else think that they need to get rid of gretchen and replace her with someone that actually watches the show?? there were so many things that she said in the interview with renny that showed she doesn't even watch most of it...i have never enjoyed her since marcelles left and haven't watched housecalls since today...i just had to see renny...i was surprised that renny didn't say she'd keep in touch with keesha...she said she'd wait and see...wow that really was a surprise....i do hope she gets her own show you know there would always be something funny happening...
now, if memp changes the plans and keeps jerry i swear i will quit watching...i really want to see dan, memp and keesh in the final three and if it's jerry...i have to stop cause i won't give a darn about it anymore....jerry will end up winning and being the BIGGEST AZZZ to ever win a reality show...that dirty old vulgar man deserves nothing!!!!! i also don't want poor keesh to be put in the jury house with the other morons (excluding renny) keesh doesn't deserve to be there with ap-ho,ollie,manchelle and libra...they all need jerry to be there with them....he is one of them...LOSERS...i have NEVER felt so much dislike for so called human beings before....AAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW they make me sick....'
please HD...keep us updated and thanks for all you do....HEY HD...MAYBE YOU COULD DO HOUSECALLS, at least we know you watch it....lol

Great poem Hoos! Dan wants Keesha in final 2, but dickhead wants to take Jerry. If he keeps Jerry and Jerry wins HOH, Memphis will deserve it. I just hope Dan talks Memphis in to keeping Keesha. She deserves to at least try for the big prize, although I have no hope for her anymore. Go Danny Boy!
Posted by: xtex88 at September 6, 2008 01:13 PM
I want Keesha in the final three and the final two! If they take Jerry to the final three and kick out Keesha, I think Keesha deserves the America's favorite and the $25K. I'll be voting for her!
Posted by: Maggie at September 6, 2008 01:27 PM
BenF... bet you agree 100%... I said they were thinking about it... I agree with you that Dan would probably end up taking Memphis to F2 with him.
Gray... 54 ain't old honey... and you'd know that if you were 54 like me and Renny..
Hoos... Great poem! but it's Renny-Roo not Renny Doo .... Dawlin'...
Posted by: Dixie at September 6, 2008 01:48 PM
If they vote Keesha off, it's her own fault because she obviously aligned with the wrong people. She was never in their plans to take to the final 2 so she'd be out 3rd anyway and leave with nothing. What's worse 3rd or 4th? Keesha made her mistakes early on when she was determined to get every woman out of the house so all the male attention could be centered on her. She got what she wanted on that front but she won't be winning any money if Dan or Memphis have any say in it. If she kept Michelle around, Keesha and Renny would be the final three (in my opinion.)

Poor Misguided Souls,
What if we were to step back for a moment and consider the Renegade's options from a strategic standpoint of pros and cons, rather than from an emotional posture, clearly sullied by our universal disdain for Colonel Klink?
-Basic Vulcan Logic 101-
There are seven jury members.
A minimum of four votes is required to win.
Of the current sequestered house guests...
Ape-Ho obviously stole her moral compass from the S.S. Minnow and will therefore only vote for Keesha, Dan, or Memphis if she has no other choice. (Id est; a vote for Jerry is not an option.)
Ollie-Punk has surrendered his testicles and any semblance of an original thought (if indeed he ever had one to begin with) to Ape-Ho in exchange for giving him what he had built up in his amoebian mind to be the do all end all of androcratic existence.
Man-chelle (barring Dan taking a step toward canonization by miraculously convincing her to do otherwise) will vote with the other members of the Terrible Triad.
That's three against any house guest in the final two with Jerry. Which leads us to...
OPTION A. "Honour Among Thieves"
- Dan and/or Memphis assume they have the four required jury votes, (L,R,K,D or L,R,K,M) and elect to take Jerry to the final three. The Renegades then compete against one another for the right to stand next to Jerry at the end.
DRATS Analysis - Assumption is the Mother of all Frag-ups. While I believe Renny, Libra, and Keesha to be the type who will vote for the individual they see as the best player; their perception of who that might be, may differ from ours. It MIGHT work, but it is a risk. Questionable for Dan and Memphis, horrible for Keesha, and a best case scenario for Grandpa Munster. NO, I'm not saying it's in any way a guarantee for Jerry only his best hope (since against Keesha he has none). In all likelihood this would play out in Dan or Memphis' favour, but talk about risky.
OPTION B. "Kobayashi Maru/Gentleman's Duel"
- Believing Keesha to be a the greatest threat in the next competitions, (HOH and Veto) The Renegades discard her now. Their hope, to subsequently oust Jerry leaving the Terrible Triad with a no-win situation.
DRATS Analysis - Short of pulling the "Brutus Manoeuver" and getting rid of Dan, this is Memphis' best hope for a win since Keesha just might (again MIGHT) hold HOH Dan responsible and allow it to sway her vote to Mix Master M. Moreover, The "Legion of Dunce" (now a foursome with the addition of Jerry) are also likely to view Memphis as the lessor of two evils.
OPTION C. "Justice for All"
- The Renegades oust the dirty old man, and in a move completely uncharacteristic of Big Brother decide to shake hands, come out fighting, and may the best man (or woman) win.
DRATS Analysis - Keesha's best hope. If it came down to she and either member of the Renegade Alliance, with the exception of the Ghastly Twosome (Since I expect the green monster that lives in the vacant "Crinkled Cathedral" that is Ape-Hos immense head would never allow her to vote for Keesha) she might have the votes for a win.
Well folks, That's my take on it.
Back into the abyss,
DRATS

Drats... ya went out to planet Crypton for that one huh buddy? LOL
but yeah, I agree...
Posted by: Dixie at September 6, 2008 02:24 PM
Gray... 54 ain't old honey
Dixie, go back and watch ChenBot's exit interview with Renny. When you are finished, come back here and fill in the blank:
Renny, you are the _ _ _ _ _ _ woman ever to play Big Brother.
Posted by: gray at September 6, 2008 02:59 PM
Why did Dan throw the POV?? Humm... Not hard to answer that one... No matter who is ousted, it's a vote for him! Memphis will be the bad guy!!
This taking Jerry to the end is a BIG gamble though! Don't think he could do anything in endurance, but he's done okay on others!
I love ya Dan, thats a smart move throwing POV, BUT JERRY??? Oh Lord, I need a new prayer!
It's really low to do it to Keesha also. But that's the name of the game, 'How Low Can You Go?'!!
Posted by: diff at September 6, 2008 03:12 PM
To those arguing about Renny's age....speaking from a 56 year old woman's point of view...if she is middle aged, then she is going to live to be 108....that would be nice, because I will live to be 112!
And I could have sworn on Showtime Friday night that I heard Dan tell Memphis that the were going to have to "sneak out" or a special someone would "kill the buzz".....does that mean he is taking Memphis "to the beach" now?
Posted by: Dedra at September 6, 2008 03:21 PM
HD--you are so right! I bet Dan is lying about where he's going. To the beach?? If he doesn't leave until Sunday, it could be the MTV awards again. (Maybe I'm getting old--30's--but that isn't as a big a deal as it used to be. Maybe because I never see videos on anymore. Yeah there's youtube, but still.) I don't think it's right for ANYONE to take a HG from sequester-I think it really taints the whole game. What's the point of sequeser otherwise. Perhaps their star is highly despised by the jurors, perphaps more than any other final member in history???
Karen--you are so right! Keesha is basically worthless at this point. Seems to me she made no attempt to win either HOH/veto. Like someone else said she's only won a couple of comps, and one of them was pure luck since she gave up so early. I think kicking her at this point though, will lose the winner a couple votes (K's and Rennys'). Maybe if Jerry makes F2 he'll win by a landslide. Then again, Keesha will probably pull a Diane and still vote for her Memphis in the end, since that's been her whole gameplay, following memphis around.
Posted by: Derek at September 6, 2008 03:24 PM
Well I can kinda cheat as I have the feeds...From what I get BB fans, Memphis and Dan seem to think Keesha is smart and athletic but has been a mess lately. Jerry would be EASY to beat in Endurance but can pull out a question comp when he needs too. Watching the "Rennegades" as I do ALOT ALOT....
I have to say my guess is Dan and Memphis take Keesha to the final 3....Mainly cause they are good guys at heart (from what I see everyday) and their HATE and annoyance for Jerry is growing every day...
My Personal thought... I think the smart thing would be Keesha. I feel the guys can beat her in Endurance and on Questions they have been better the last 3 times (Counting the Luxury comp) too
so I think they will choose Keesha..
Posted by: Kells at September 6, 2008 03:27 PM
Well done Hoos,

GET JERRY OUT NOW! Otherwise Dan & Memphis will have cost the game. D & M should take each other to the final 2 just so the sore loosers with the excluding renny and keesha will have 2 vote 4 one of them.
Posted by: Deedlestexan at September 6, 2008 03:48 PM
They need to take Keesha with them to final 3, Jerry isn't good with endurance, but he is really good mental comps. If the boys take him they are fools and could cost them the game. Besides, I want Keesha and Dan in the final 2.

Great Gilligan take off Hoos! I sang it through and it works out perfectly. I see that Dratsy-wan-Kenobi has taught his young Jedi comic well. Welcome to HD's playground!
Dang Drats, your Sunday mornings were a step up from mine. The only things that were on TV on Sunday mornings in my town were Shirley Temple movies, Steve Reeves Hercules movies, Johnny Quest, and Gumby. Is it any wonder I turned out like I did? :)
Posted by: BenF at September 6, 2008 04:59 PM
Jerry NEEDS to leave.
Damn, I wish Renny had a Myspace page. After watching her interviews, I really really love her. If I ever make it onto a national television show, (which is not in my plans or hopes) I hope people see me that way. What a wonderful role model she is.
I kind of wonder if Dan just goes to a hotel for a night or two and gets to choose who to send on a trip...

Well now... since everyone else seems to be going there, I thought I would try my hand at this Weird Al Yankovich act. Since we have been discussing older folks, I have decided to use Jed and Granny Clampett as my inspiration. So here goes.
Come and listen to a story about a man named Dan
A poor Catholic coach, barely time to get a tan,
Then one day as he told the team to huddle,
He got the call sayin' he'd be living in a bubble.
BB House that is, Buckeye gold, Hamsterville.
Well the first thing you know ol' Dan's America's Player,
SillyHamster's folk said "Dan be careful in there!"
Said "Californy is the place you ought to be."
So he loaded up on cash and voted out Jessie.
Meathead, that is.
Steroid pills, wannabe star.
The Big Brother Hamsters!
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Sung at the end of the show:
Well now its time to say good-bye to Dan and all his loot.
He would like to thank you folks fer not giving him the boot.
You're all invited back again to this locality
To have a heapin helpin of Hamster hospitality
SillyHamsters that is. Chat a spell. Take your shoes off. Y'all come back now, y'hear?

I have a question tho, is anyone else had enuf of watching Memphis pick at this face.... gawdddd what is he doin always pickin at himself?!?!?!?
Posted by: Stace in Canada at September 6, 2008 06:40 PM
I am betting these 2 are 2 cocky now and will take Jerry. Jerry will make it to the final 2 and win and it will be their fault for giving it to him. They are over thinking and it has gone to their heads so they will make the wrong decision in the end. Dan is not going to any beach. He is going to get a 1 up with the jury. He is lying to them all. I think??

And while we are on the subject of picking on Memphis, could the kid stuff any more cheese down his gullet? He's addicted. Hey Memph -- stop eating all that cheese! I loved last night when Dan asked Memphis what he ate for late night dinner and Memphis said "A turkey sandwich" And Dan added, "And with cheese, right?" Hehehe, looks like I'm not the only one who's noticed.

ps... I agree with you completely on the issue of Jerry's phone call...
let it go lady...
Posted by: Dixie at September 6, 2008 07:29 PM
Right after I wrote my last post about Memphis's cheese addiction, I realized that cheese gluttony is not the only deadly sin he's guilty of. You'd think that already having a $40K car would make a small difference toward taking a gamble on keeping Keesha for final 3. I'm telling you... the kid's a machine. Let's hope our Wee Father Dan has a few sins up his sleeve as well.
Posted by: BenF at September 6, 2008 07:55 PM
BenF... I forgot about the car! We haven't had April around reminding us every 5 minutes for the past 3 weeks!

From what I can tell from their conversation in this video, the guys are almost certainly going to evict Keesha. Uggh! :(
http://bigbrother10gossip.blogspot.com/2008/09/last-nights-eviction-discussion.html
They should really be thinking about jury votes, they will piss off Keesha & Renny for sure with this move. Though it is hard to see Renny voting for the Colonel! I suspect whatever happens, Dan will try and say that it was Memphis who won the POV and had the choice, not him.

HD, have you seen the captioning running on BBAD? It says "the POV was held early this morning, with the POV winner POSSIBLY being the only vote this week. I assume that that's just BBAD simply being coy about stating who won the POV. But a possible allusion, as well, to another vote coming into the house? Did you hear the diary room leak today when Dan was heard saying "that could be the end of the Renegades Alliance"?
Posted by: BenF at September 6, 2008 09:36 PM
Gray - You committed a logical fallacy. You write,
"Dixie, go back and watch ChenBot's exit interview with Renny. When you are finished, come back here and fill in the blank: Renny, you are the _ _ _ _ _ _ woman ever to play Big Brother."
The "oldest" isn't the same as "old." For example - of three children, ages 2, 3 and 4 years old, the 4 year-old is the "oldest." But I'm sure even YOU would agree, that a four year old isn't "old."

I'm not sure how the element of surprise would affect their decision who to take to F3.(Having live veto cer./eviction Tues. instead of Thurs.) Would it make it easier to bounce Keesha? Will Keesha vote for Dan if Memphis evicts her? I'm full of questions too, but not many answers. I do know that Memphis and Dan are making me infuriated about planning to evict Keesha before Jerry, for so many reasons. No need to even repeat why I'm mad at them, I think it's obvious. Their Dynamic Boy Duo is starting to get old. I'd almost like for Keesha to somehow make it to F2 to teach D/M a lesson in humility. And Memphis is being a cold b*stard to be so flippant about dumping Keesha off their f*ing Pirate boat!

Gray - You committed a logical fallacy.
I think I see what you mean. Take three geezers -- Jerry, Renny, and Shelia from last season. Jerry is young (compared to a lot of dead people anyway), Renny is younger, and Shelia is the youngest. But now I'm confused again, because Shelia sure isn't very young.

Since I'm already guilty of ageism, I might as well commit theft too. I stole this from a "Cat in the Hat" poster on aging:
I cannot see
I cannot pee
I cannot chew
I cannot screw
Oh my god, what can I do?
My memory shrinks
My hearing stinks
No sense of smell
I look like hell
My mood is bad -- can you tell?
My body's drooping
Have trouble pooping
The Golden Years
have come at last
The Golden Years
can kiss my ass

Good one Gray, very good. You know I am watching BBAD and looks like Memphis is going to vote Keesha out. That's too bad. But she should have done better I guess. I just hope Memphis doesn't win in the end. I don't care who he takes with him, he can't win. He just can't.
Posted by: xtex88 at September 6, 2008 10:23 PM
Gregor that was very good too. I loved it. I wish I was as talented as you guys are in here. lmao!

Do you think that Dan will be going to the VMA's? I think it's Sunday night. I can't believe they are going to evict Keesha. Jerry is probably going to win it all now! Yuck!
Posted by: Maggie at September 6, 2008 10:28 PM
Mizzminney, I am with you. That is exactly what I think is going to happen. And if they lose by keeping Jerry they deserve it.
Posted by: xtex88 at September 6, 2008 10:29 PM
Thanks for that chuckle Gray. The resolution of your logical fallacy will definitely help me get right to sleep where I will grow old(er).
Posted by: BenF at September 6, 2008 10:29 PM
I agree with a few others here that if Dan and Memphis evict Keesha and take Jerry to the F3, then it just may sneak up and bite them on the ass and Jerry could end up winning the $500,000. Granted, Jerry won't win any endurance contest, but he is very good at winning the mental competitions. Jerry has won a few mental comps and came very close to winning a few more.
Dan and Memphis' greed may get the best of them. They should stick with their alliance with Keesha and take her to the F3. Keesha's record of winning comps is not as good as Jerry and D/M will will probably beat her hands down in the endurance comps and the mental comps. If Dan & Memphis take each other to the F2 that is their best bet because it negates A/O/M/J votes because they will have to decide who they hate the most or decide who played the game the best out of the two and pick a winner. They might be surprised if either of them takes Kessha or Jerry to the F2 and end up losing to one of them.
To Gray,
I have to agree with a few others here that posted that they don't think that Renny being 54 years of age is considered old, but merely middle age. When I was in my 20's and 30's I also thought that people in their 50's had one foot in the grave; not so now that I am in my 50's.
Most 50 year old's are in the prime of their life if they are in good health. I can say that because I don't feel any older mentally in my 50's than I did when I was in my 30's or 40's. I also agree with others that when you reach your 50's you will have a change of heart in age 54 being considered old.
I do however agree that a person who is 75 years of age though is considered old. I am not sure of the statistics but I have seen a lot of people on my journey through life pass away before even reaching the retirement age of 65. Don't judge all older people in their 70's as mean old people like Jerry, because most people that I have met who are in their 70's are some of the nicest people that I have met. Of course there are always a few rotten apples in any age group.
P.S. I will turn 59 this October and I consider myself on the verge of geezer-hood but I am not out for the count yet :0)

Good Sunday morning HD,
I've read every ones comments on their thoughts/guesses, about what is going to happen with Dan's trip. I'm wondering if you would tell me your thoughts? Think it's 'bury the hatchet' time with Michelle? That would really be a 'first' for BB, having the opportunity to influence a jury member. And if it's true, do you think Michelle would change her tune about Dan? She seemed pretty adamant about hating him!
Treading in new waters??
From HD - We found out last night that Dan's trip will be today. I know what Dan has said it is but I don't know what it really is. I think if he does get to talk to a jury member, it's best that he chose Michelle. I definitely can see Michelle being sweet-talked a little and we know that Dan can heap on the praises. If Dan can swing Michelle a little, it might even help him with April and Ollie.
Posted by: diff at September 7, 2008 07:31 AM
"Old" is always 20-30 years older than yourself!!
Posted by: SuZieQ at September 7, 2008 08:57 AM
Oh wow i really resent that comment made by "gray" that Renny is an old woman. I'm in my 50s and I don't consider myself to be an old woman. Your day of becoming older will come. Can't wait until you are called old and see how you feel. WOWZEERS!
BTW folks (and I'm not a Jerry fan by any means) Jerry did say "love ya baby" before he hung up the phone from talking to his wife. Go back and watch the show. If you listen you can hear it. Ok enough said about Renny and Jerry.
I will be so disappointed if Memphis votes out Keesha. I know this game is to lie, cheat and deceit but come on now. Jerry in the final 2. No way. Are they serious? Jerry could take those boys down in part 2 & 3 if they are not careful. Have they not been paying attention or what. Just cuz he didn't do well on some comps doesn't mean he won't in the last 2. What a huge chance they would be taking. If, for some chance Jerry were to win the final hoh he would win the 500k hands down just for getting to the end.
Now when it comes to Keesha winning the final hoh I'm not thinking that would happen so easily. I think Keesha chokes in comps and would be so nervous she would choke when it came down to the final part. Of course, I know I could be way off base and I can admit that but Keesha is a far better choice than Jerry.
I can't wait to see what Dan's prize really is. I agree you can't trust what he has said to be true cuz he is such a player in this game. Hope whatever it is he gets a one up on e1 else in the game and he can win the 500k. And, I don't care who is sitting next to him in the final 2 Memphis or Keesha. I just don't want it to be Jerry. I think D/M/K are all hated by the jury and the jury is just jealous cuz they are in the jury.
Posted by: ksgirl at September 7, 2008 08:59 AM
OMG...Say it isn't so! Saint Danicus and the Memster planning to screw over the sweet little blond in favor of the grumpy old man...What are you boys thinking? It sounds to me that it is six of one, half dozen of another. Jerry is good at the mental games & Keesha is fairly strong. But remember Keesha is really dispirited now, bored & tired. The twosome need to err on the side of loyalty and keep Keesha because she won't try to win HOH, trusting that one of the boys will take her to final two. Loved all the funny poems this AM. Thanks guys! LMAO, and boy did I need to lose some of it.

Oh wow i really resent that comment made by "gray" that Renny is an old woman.
I really expected to take a lot more flak about just not liking Renny than from saying that Renny is old. I thought that Renny fans would be incredulous that anybody could not like her. Everybody, even sweet, wonderful gray will reach 54 if they are lucky to live that long, and as Coleen pointed out, "old" is a relative term. If you listen to Renny, at least part of her contempt for Jerry is that he is old relative to her, although in reality, it is only about twenty short years.
Again, I'm incredulous that anybody likes Renny, let alone that Gretchen on House Calls says that America at large "loves" her.
Posted by: gray at September 7, 2008 09:43 AM
I can't believe that Dan and Memphis are going to take Jerry to the final 3 Keesha has been loyal to both the whole time. Jerry is an idiot but if they don't get rid of him this week he will go all the way. Why can't Dan see this..Memphis again will come out smelling like a rose. He told Dan the other night you'll be happy with 50,000 right you could do so much with that money, like he has already won this thing..Dan is blind and stupid to be ok with 2nd place.
Posted by: Janet C at September 7, 2008 09:49 AM
ksgirl, I am with you too. If Meathead, I mean Memphis votes out Keesha I will pray hard that he goes home and Jerry wins. And if you have noticed most of my prayers if not all of them have been answered win I prayed for Dan to win, and look where he his:). But I will be so pissed at Memphis if he votes out Keesha. Yes, the game is about lying and cheating to some degree, but Memphis has gotten to big for his britches, figuratively and literally:). I am sickened when I watch BBAD and see how he thinks he has won this game. I have got news for him if he makes it to the end, I am positive the jury will give it to anyone but him, although their little feelings have been hurt in one way or the other. They will all compare notes and see how down right sneaky Memphis was. And not only sneaky, he didn't give a shit who he upset. He is a very mean guy. Good luck to Keesha for the final 3.

Feeling old is a mindset, that's what I say!
Posted by: xtex88 at September 7, 2008 10:22 AM
Dan is blind and stupid to be ok with 2nd place.
Dan may have no other choice than to be OK with second place. Even if he wins all the crucial comps that make him the person to choose who goes to the final two with him. At this stage, he can't control the jury votes, although I hope his plan to persuade Manchelle works out for him. This is the first time in a long time that I have had somebody to actually root for instead of hoping for the lesser of two evils.
Posted by: gray at September 7, 2008 10:56 AM
Gray - all is forgiven! We should all hope to be at least as old as Hugh Hefner.. he's 80 or 81... and not sure if most consider him "old". It is a relative term...
As for your not liking Renny - some of her comments and actions the past few weeks have cooled my fan fire for her. I agree with you that she made too big of a deal about Jerry's phone call. Most of those "AC phone calls from home" are timed and they just cut the call off suddenly. So my perception of it is and has been, that his phone call was cut short. He obviously adores the woman - she is the one thing that the constantly smiles about when he speaks of her.
I'm pulling for Dan to win. I did have Memphis as my #2, but his distain for Jerry and complete disregard for Jerrys loneliness in the house have turned me off. I'm with Dan and Keesha - I have a hard time watching the old boy sit all alone for hours on end. So now, I'm pulling for a Keesha Dan F2.
If JC makes Memphis stand up and immediately evict right after POV Ceremony, I'm not sure even Memphis will be able to say, to her face: "I vote to evict Keesha".
Guess we'll all find out Tuesday night.
Posted by: Dixie at September 7, 2008 11:25 AM
This is my first time posting this season. Dee I agree with you that the two boys and starting to get on my nerves. They feel they have the game won already (especially Meatheat). Has anyone noticed how small his mouth is compared to his head? And what is with the tongue motion every few minutes? He is really mean to Jerry and has no compassion for him when he's alone (I want Jerry gone this week but still feel sorry for him when he's alone.) The other two D/K at least feel something for the old guy.
Well I'll shut up now and hope Keesha is with Dan in the final 2.
Posted by: arkie transplant at September 7, 2008 11:53 AM
Read elsewhere that Dan has Diamond Veto and will be the person to do the eviction? Don't know if it's true, but I don't even remember how the Diamond Veto works?
HD - would you enlighten this OLD Texas broad? (that one was for you Gray! LOL)
From HD - The term Diamond Veto is an older term that isn't used anymore but it applies to the next POV competition. Not this one. Basically, whoever wins that veto competition will be safe from eviction and will also be the only one who will be voting somebody out. But again, it applies to the next POV that hasn't happened yet.
From HD again - My bad. The old term applied to this last POV competition. Memphis won it though and Dan did not. Dan won the luxury competition.
Posted by: Dixie at September 7, 2008 11:59 AM
I think they should keep Keesha, neither stand a chance at the end against Jerry and as proven Jerry sometimes can pull a rabbit out of his hat in competions. Keesha only has two guaranteed votes on the jury as far as I can tell. My opinion Dan deserves to win this game, he kept quiet when he knew he needed to and made bold moves when he needed to. I think he played this game better than anyone did this season.

thanks for the info HD.. but as it stands.. I think it was a misguided rumor based upon an error.
Posted by: Dixie at September 7, 2008 12:34 PM
Don't get me wrong, i like dan and memphis, BUT if they get rid of keesha now I will be very angray at them!! Do they not realise that they are still in there b/c of keesha?! So many of the other hg's have wanted to get rid of them and she has stopped them. Now I know this is a game for a lot of money but come on!! At least give her a SHOT in the final 3!! If they are 'all that' like they seem to think, then they will win and then get rid of her!! Although I want her to win. It is a BIG mistake to keep jerry at this point. Do they not remember all the times he has pulled thru be/c they thought they can get rid of him at 'any time'?!!! I think the producers will tailer the 2nd part of the hoh to better fit him since both 1st and 2nd parts are pretty physical. And then we all know he is good at the question comps! If they take jerry to the final 3 I hope he wins so I can say 'told you so idiots'! Although jerry is the least one of those left I want to see win. PLEASE KEEP KEESHA! I think she could win against dan b/c more people are angry at dan than keesha (which is only april IMO).
Posted by: stacey at September 7, 2008 12:42 PM
I am loving Memphis's name for what April looks like after she takes off her make-up: "The Crypt Keeper." Hahahaha! Add it to your list HD. :)
Gray I am sure you would like knowing that he also called Sheila "the ugly woman" earlier in the week.
Posted by: BenF at September 7, 2008 01:29 PM
I am so sorry gray I think I finally get it. Its ok to make fun of someone as long as you don't like them. If you like them it is not. In your opinion it is ok to make fun of April's forehead which by the way she has no control of but you can not say anything about Keesha. Ok I got it now it will not happen again. So sorry
Posted by: Kimberly at September 7, 2008 01:48 PM
Dan has left for his luxury prize. From what they are saying it looks as if he left in helicopters(3 in all).
How boring can this house get!!
Show us the island!!
Posted by: Janai at September 7, 2008 01:48 PM
I think I finally get it
You don't, and I seriously doubt that you ever will. April (new name: Crypt Keeper. Thanks Memphis and BenF) makes fun of people incessantly and constantly remarks on her own superiority about almost everything. No wonder you love her!
Posted by: gray at September 7, 2008 02:07 PM
If Keesha goes then Memphis by the Grace of All That is Good Must Go. He is an Ass who has played a great game with the cunning and ethics of all that is Bad. He would have done well in Germany during WW2... As defined by the way he has been treating Jerry. There are times we must remember those who helped us get to where we are. Keesha stays and I have no problem with any of the three(DMK) winning.
Posted by: mayorbill at September 7, 2008 03:02 PM
I guess it is the calm before the storm in the BB house today! Nothing really going on while Dan is away, so it will be interesting to see the show tonight and BBAD and what happens next!
Meantime, HD, you do a great job and have for years! I always wonder if Chen-bot first found out her nickname through your blog?
Here is something to ponder while we await the next phase of activities in the house:
'If you were able to meet all the houseguests after the show, what one question would you ask each of them? It doesn't have to be the same question.
One obvious one to Olliepop/Minuteman/Tu-punk'd and Fivehead/Fourhead is: Did you know the internet feeds showed both of you at night every night and everything you did? Everything?!!
What other questions would people have?
Posted by: Richard at September 7, 2008 03:24 PM
Personally, I think this is a win/win for Dan. If Memphis evicts Keesha, Memphis earns himself an enemy; Dan can claim that he didn't want to. And since Keesh is close to Renny and Libra, Dan might earn himself some votes. THEN, if he convinces Manchelle to vote for him, he just might triumph over our tricky mixologist.
Posted by: MeganfromIndy at September 7, 2008 03:27 PM
One thing about it Gray... ya calls 'em like ya sees 'em...
My favorite April remark of the season: "I'm just such a good person. I'm just too sweet and giving and it will be my downfall in this game"...
What an idiot! If you are the one having to say that you're a sweet good giving person... you're probably not one...
Posted by: Dixie at September 7, 2008 03:29 PM
Kimberly, if it helps at all, may I offer this:
If you have time, go into the archives and look at the comments under Sunday, September 16, 2007, and in there you will see a post I sent to HD where I was in a complete self-involved lather about comments HD had written about Dani Donato and about callous character assassinations of BB guests by Silly Hamster posters. HD wrote me back with the following terrific and fair message:
From HD - Ben, I completely understand what you're saying. But please let me say this. All 14 of the hamsters chose to enter the house and be scrutinized by the viewing audience. I've never pussyfooted around when it came to giving my opinion on any of the hamsters. As a matter of fact, I have held back a lot of times because I never wanted people to think that all I was doing was straight up bashing. With that said, my post today does absolutely nothing to sway the opinions of those who matter - the jury. My opinions are mine and mine alone and I've never presented them as anything but my own. I also feel quite confident that anybody that reads Silly Hamsters is more than capable of making up their own minds when it comes to their feelings on the houseguests the same as you and I have done.
Kimberly -- I am a compassionate and empathetic person by nature, and in life I rarely despise anyone for longer than 4 minutes. But HD's reply made me realize that I was taking myself a bit too serious here. The long and the short of it is that posters are going to express whatever feelings they want about the houseguests they dislike. And you should too. Odds are that we are all always going to defend the people who we feel a bit of a narcissistic connection to and that we are going to be annoyed or upset or defensive when people are bashing those houseguests we really like. But you just cannot get upset about the things that people say on here. It's okay to give shit back to someone who you think is giving you shit, Kimberly. But don't let it mean so much. Try humor. It works wonders. I know it has freed me to be able to say completely mean and callous things about a couple of the houseguests this season. :)
From HD - :)

Great post Ben F..
I have not always liked the same people the majority liked, but you do have to respect other people's right to voice their own opinion. That is what these forums are all about. Making your voice heard. If we all had the same opinions, it would be a pretty boring world we live in.
I hope they keep Keesha for final 3 for my own personal reasons. I want Jerry gone. I have feeds and hardly ever watch since it seems all 4 cameras are always on him and his boring self.
Looking forward to chatting tonight during the show if i get all my haircuts done for family haircut day before the show is over.
Happy Sunday Big Brother Show day to you all.
Go Keesha, convince them to keep you over the ogre Jerry.
Posted by: footballmom at September 7, 2008 04:16 PM
Just catching up with the weekday episodes. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought April looked really nice on the show. Michelle really does not look good on camera, though! Am I the only one who thinks Ollie and April are actually genuine and kinda hope it works for them? And that's after being disgusted by previous showmances (Boogie and Erika). I've noticed here and on other sites that a lot of Renegade fans will be very disppointed if they drop Keesha. It does seem like cheating, going up against the 75 year old, but that 75 year old did sign up. Wouldn't it be funny if this comes back to haunt them, or if Jerry was throwing those other endurance comps? If Memphis really wanted to win that comp, why didn't he kick out Dan, who hung on for 4 hours? Too much like winning an HOH, maybe? If Dan kicks Memphis out final 2, I'll jump on the Dan bandwagon however.
I was trying to figure out where all the age stuff started. Gray, I was not impressed either with Renny's comment about an old man only being good for one thing. Does she not realize she's over twenty years older than D/M? And maybe at least partly why they picked K is that they'd rather see her laying around in her bikini than see Renny in her costumes? (I'm a Renny fan, though. I thought as a hairdresser she should've kicked some ass looking at those faces).
Hopefully tonight they'll show the real deal with Dan's trip. I really hope it does not involve one of the jurors.
Posted by: Derek at September 7, 2008 04:28 PM
Ben F - Bravo on your post. Hopefully Kimberly can understand your point. This is just a place to come - have some fun - comment on the houseguests we do, and do not like. All is fair here, while respecting each other's right to voice opinions on the houseguests. We do not need to go after each other as some misguided belief that there needs to be a "Moral Compass" for the posters. For a lot of us this is our escape for a while from the realities of our own lives. With that said- on to the game.
I really hope the guys take Keesha to the end, she has been loyal to them - they should be loyal in return. I don't believe she is a big a threat to them as grampa grump. He has won a lot of comps, not the physical so much, but they shouldn't be basing their decision on that.
Then Memphis should be kicked to the curb with Keesha and Dan final two. Could not believe Memphis saying to Dan that Dan would be happy with $50+ second place. Hopefully, Dan picked up on that statement, because it sure showed where Memphis is coming from...
Hopefully, they will show the comps (lux and POV) along with the Lux trip tonight, as Sundays, tend to be very boring. Tuesday will be a full night, so...
PS. Boy was I way off base in my thoughts of what the lux comp and prize would be. Ah well!

I enjoyed tonights show thoroughly. I am a huge Michelle fan and I feel she got a raw deal so YAY!!! Now I have a theory that is just probably wishful thinking (and a little hoping), but maybe when Dan comes back he will bring Michelle back into the game...and the two people that are on the block will get eliminated on Tuesday leaving Michele in the house with Memphis and Dan...Could happen...after all this is Big Brother and Expect the Unexpected...that would be one hellava twist though wouldn't it? On the other hand I would like to see Keesha go to the jury house and Jerry to go to final 3 and get eliminated...the show down will probably be with Memphis and Dan trying to win the grand prizes at the end. Dan has basically beat the odds on everything else so he might just win the bonanza too. I don't care who is in the final 3 as long as Keesha is gone.
Posted by: gerry at September 7, 2008 06:19 PM
I loved Jerry's DR after the nomination. Dan is guilty of yet another betrayal (of Memphis this time) so Jerry will use this to his advantage. Bawwhahaha. I guess he thinks the advantage will be that Memphis will be more receptive to hearing Jerry trash-talk Dan.
Posted by: gray at September 7, 2008 06:28 PM
I know this may be a bit late i to interject on the whole "old" thing, but its been a long couple of days. :p I must say that while I myself would not classify Renny as old I can understand why Grey would think that. She is older than him. The funny thing is that everybody is so upset about calling her old. So what? Being old or older....get over it people. Its gonna happen to all of us. Hopefully. And lucky are the ones that keep getting older. I would say that it is WAY worse to be known as a whore (April)or a manish and spiteful woman (Michelle) or a conceted brat on steroids (Jessie). Old is the ways it bes.
We (ALL OF US) judge people based on what we see. These are our opinions based on experience. As far as we all are concerned (unless you know an HG) these are people on a TV show. You "know" these people on a shallow level. So making judgements about them based on appearance or age or a 10 second clips of something they say in the DR is to be expected.
Now, as far as they are concerned they havde to go back to their lives. Ouch.
Now the thing that really bothers me. Could GM being anymore boring???? Its WAS like the Renny show. All GM did was read questions from a piece of paper. And whats with the shoeless\cross legged thing? Youre on TV, woman! Get it together.
Posted by: Tavia at September 7, 2008 07:07 PM
Let me begin by stating that I hate Jerry. He is a dirty old man who gives old men a bad name. I'll never forget his comments about writing Keesha's name on his right hand and using it to jack off. He's horrid. She may have an awful laugh but she has never been anything but kind to him and didn't deserve that.
But... I hope that if Dan and Memphis go ahead and dump Keesha like they plan to do so they can take Jerry to the final 3 (thinking he'll be so easy to beat) that Jerry ends up in final 2. I don't care if it is Dan or Memphis who gets sent home because they are both equally guilty. And the fact that now they are trashing Keesha is unforgiveable even though I know they are doing it to "hype" themselves up for the betrayal. So when they dump Keesha and Jerry beats one of them and ends up in the final 2 he will win, I bet you. And as much as I hate him I will cheer when he wins because I can not get over what they did to Keesha nad how they did it.
