Keesha Knows
Thank goodness Keesha finally began to use her noggin last night. Too bad she was a little bit too late. Would you like to see the moment it dawned on her that she'd been pulled along?
She figured out that Memphis will be voting her out tonight and got a little bit pissed but mostly upset. Keesha also doesn't understand the whole thing. She thinks that Memphis and Jerry have something going on and has no clue that it's really a Dan and Memphis plan. And before anybody asks, she was not drinking last night. But hey, she gave Dan her vote from the jury house so that's a good thing.
To see more of that conversation check out Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5. And this clip is where Dan explains to Memphis about what's going on with Keesha.
Oh Keesha, boo freaking hoo. It's about time you realized it was a game. How funny is it that you're such a little hypocrite yourself. You demand them to tell you if you're going to be evicted? I seem to remember a woman named Renny in the house who asked Keesha over and over the same thing when she was on the block. Keesha knew "her friend" was going to be evicted yet Keesha didn't have the cajones to tell her about it. So what makes Keesha so special that she thinks she deserves to be told?
The whole thing smacks of the Adam, Ryan, and Natalie situation last season. All of the Natalie lovers out there got so upset that the boys were dumping her ass. For them, it was plain and simple. They had to get rid of her because she was a bigger threat. The same thing is happening here with Keesha. Dan and Memphis now have to get rid of her.
Even after her light bulb moment last night where she realized this was a game, what did she do? She didn't go and talk to Memphis. She cried to Dan up in the HOH room (and later slept in the HOH bed with him) about how cruel this was her. After all, she's the one that did this and did that. Good for you! But guess what Keesha, you laid down and got lazy in the game. How about all that drinking she did before that POV contest when Renny was still in the house? How bad has she done in competitions (HOH and POV) lately? She finally realized that as the game draws to a close, the only person that can truly keep you safe is yourself.
So what do you think about how this all went down? Are you glad that Keesha will be the one going home (barring any last minute decisions) and not Jerry? Are you aware that this is a game for money and not a game of friendship?
Join everybody here tonight at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT where I'll be liveblogging the show. I can't wait for the final HOH competition to begin!
Update at 10:50 AM - Check out Julie Chen and the hamsters on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson last night below. And if you'd like to see the promo with Dan and Michelle at the beach, check out the thread over at Jokers right here.

I'm bummed that Keesha is going home. She may not have done a lot but she sure has done more than JERRY! And Jerry is just down right mean! I guess those are the people that make it in life - the mean ones who do nothing. I don't want Jerry to win, but it might be funny to see one of those guys get the boot! They totally think they are going to win. I wonder which one thinks they are winning the grand prize? Probably both. Memphis has a better chance because he didn't have to make too many people mad - Keesha may get Dan some votes in the jury house though - and Michelle will probably vote for Dan now. It will be interesting but it's also going to be boring with Jerry still there! Yuck!

HD, you are so on point! When Renny asked her last week to give her some heads up if she was being evicted Keesha sat in her face on numerous occasions and acted like a deaf mute. Turn about is truly fair play.

I'm a little upset that Keesha is leaving. I really want Jerry out of there. If he wins this damn game on a fluke I'll be really disappointed. You're right Keesha did get lazy. She played a really good game until Libra left, and then just stopped playing. So it won't pain me too much that she'll be on the jury. And if she'll give Dan her vote, Bonus!

I fell asleep early last night and found myself awake at 12:00am...what a better thing to do than watch BBAD! Boy did I start watching it at the right time, it was better than the actual show! Keesha had just figured out that she was being voted out by Memphis and was in the beginnings of her very long tantrum. I have to say though, once she calmed down she seemed to accept it a little better. The mistake I think she made is she started telling Dan that she is going to make sure the jury votes for him...I think she gave up too soon! I would have started working on Dan and Memphis about Jerry and how he is the bigger threat because of his age and his wife's illness....that stuff works on the jury...remember Adam and is "donation" from last year?? I stopped watching at around 2:00 so I don't know what went on after that.
I have been a Dan fan, so I really do hope he wins the HOH, because I really believe that Memphis will dump him and keep Jerry.
My only question is, with Dans Luxury Competitiion win, didn't he get the power to have the vote tonight or was that just speculation? If he does have that power, I really think it is his best interst to vote Jerry out...Just my opinion!
I can't wait for tonight! Thanks HD for another great season of keepinig us informed!

And Dan comes out smelling like a rose. I wonder if production will have an endurance comp. next. I have a feeling they'll do something else to give Jerry a chance.
Posted by: cindy at September 9, 2008 06:26 AM
I'd hate to see Jerry walk away with this after all his crude, mean and nasty ways. He's an old geezer who has a temper tantrum if he thinks he's possibly losing. He does elderly folks an injustice as a geriatric symbol of oldhood.
Did Memphis mean what he said to Jerry about taking him all of the way and never promising anyone else that, as he shook Jerry's hand? That use to be a man's bond, if he shook your hand it was a contract as good and binding as though it was written in blood in front of a judge and notary.
I know, "it's just a game" but if Memphis takes that bag 'o bones all the way to the end then he deserves to lose.
I feel sorry for Keesha but she can hang on in competitions till the cows come home and she has a resolve to win so she might well have beaten the boys.
I wish that Dan would walk away with this but Memphis and Jerry are looming on the horizon and Adam, of all people, won last year so who knows.
Bah Humbug and that's all I have to say about that.
Posted by: Kay at September 9, 2008 06:26 AM
I also agree with you HD in that Keesha quit playing the game. From day one I was a Keesha fan but over time (more lately than ever) she became a boring entity within the house. Given that Keesha is most likely going bye bye tonight, I would laugh my butt off if Jerry ends up being in the final two.
Posted by: SteveM at September 9, 2008 06:30 AM
I am glad its Keesha going home, its the smart thing to do since Jerry will have a hard time in an endurance challenge... as much as I have hated Dan through this game I feel he deserves to win on how he actually played.. he has been driving the ship for a good # of weeks now. As always though.. the best player doesnt always win but the one who made the least amount of enemies..which.. I suppose is also playing the game.. I never care who actually wins though, I am not getting any of their money..lol. HD, as always.. thanks for the great posts and updates. I look forward to BB11 already.

I have a really bad feeling about them keeping Jerry. I think he will be in the final two and will win. He has just come back from the dead too many times to count out. I agree that Keesha stopped playing the game about 4 weeks ago and got lazy and complacent. Dan has played a great game and continues to, although I think he has a blind spot when it comes to Memphis. He doesn't seem to be thinking at all that Memphis could have a deal with Jerry. Memphis is in a great position getting rid of Keesha. Remember when Julie asked Brian who he thought would win and Brian says that Memphis has it locked up? I think he's right, except that Jerry will beat Memphis in the jury votes. Dan had better win the endurance portion. I can see Memphis trying to throw HOH to Jerry knowing that Jerry would pick him for final two.
Posted by: Missy at September 9, 2008 06:33 AM
Um, excuse me HD, no HG ever "HAS" to get rid of anyone. They did it because they chose the money over spirited competition and respect. Dan has always stated that he'd rather be in F3 with people who both deserve to be there because of good game play. It also makes better TV if the F3 all have a legit chance to win, it also makes for longer and better competitions on TV instead of an endurance comp ending after a half an hour. It's the constant debate over making the finals "easier" or more "competitive". Whether respect is more important than money. Why is the F2 better because they got there easier? It is not to me, it makes the last week a bore and rather sickening, having all the comps thrown instead of suspenseful. It's disappointing to viewers, and I think Dan would rather have had Keesha go with them. When Memphis first decided he wanted to dump Keesha early, Dan kept trying to convince Memphis that taking Keesha was the best choice also because she deserved it for backing the 2 of them. So where are your emotions? I know where Memphis' are, non-existant like he has said all along. And Dan is in as much jeopardy as Keesha, why would Memphis give 2 sh*ts about the Renegades if taking Jerry to F2 makes it easier for him to win?
Posted by: Dee at September 9, 2008 06:38 AM
FINALLY! Good grief, it took her long enough.I have a weird feeling that Jerry will finally do something and he'll win it all. We'll see.
Posted by: Cathy at September 9, 2008 06:41 AM
Jerry needs to go.
Send gramps home.
Posted by: RuralKsGirl at September 9, 2008 07:02 AM
If they are going to take Jerry instead of Keesha to F3, I hope Jerry blind sides their a$$ and wins it all.
Posted by: tbyrd at September 9, 2008 07:05 AM
I agree that Keesha quit playing the game. She drank too much and slept way too much. I think she trusted too much. This is not a game of friendship and people vote out those they like all the time - it's about winning money. That being said, I do completely understand how mad she is. First, she was not even voting in regards to Renny last week. She could have said all day long how they were voting, but Renny would not have believed her. The only one that can assure you that you are safe is the person voting (she would not have voted Renny out). She has been part of keeping it a secret from others, so she knew that they could totally do that to her. She has proven to both Dan and Memphis time and again that she had their backs by working to keep them both safe and she hoped they would do the same. While it's not a game of friendship, you also need help from people to stay in the game and get further at times. She thought they were doing that together (again way too trusting).
I honestly don't think Jerry is going to be so easy to beat if he get that far. He know his stuff in regards to the house and has been a pretty good judge of opinions of other people (based on comps). No one really knows how Jerry or Keesha would do in endurance as both drop out early every time. Jerry will definitely give anyone a run for their money in questions. IF he makes it to the final two, he has not pissed off quite a few in the jury (and in fact was somewhat aligned with 3 of them). Not to mention that you can never predict how they will actually vote. Some totally game play, some whose made at whom. Some may not have respected his game play at all, but think if a 75 year old man made it that far he must have done something right and vote for him. As much as I detest Jerry and do not want him to win, if he makes it to the final 2 - I may change my mind (just to spite those 2 guys who were way too certain they could beat him). I have never wanted Jerry to be rewarded by being in the final 3 with the way he has played the game (such disgusting talk). I don't think any of the 4 have a clear cut victory over any of the others. It will be split no matter what, so I would have preferred Dan/Memphis/Keesha in the final 3 and then let the best man/woman win. I was never rooting for Keesha, but always rooting against Jerry (but not necessarily any more).
Posted by: TexanBBfan at September 9, 2008 07:06 AM
Memphis thinks he's so cool but he is a bad liar. Keesha is right... he really has stopped looking her in the eyes. He is looking so guilty. Dan is a much better liar actually but then he can just go to Confession later, can't he! I hate Jerry so much but I'm now pulling for him to win the whole thing after these guys wouldn't even give her the grace of telling her!
Posted by: WheelChairMaMa at September 9, 2008 07:13 AM
Not surprising. Watch Memphis or Jerry win and take the other one to the end where Jerry will be crowned the victor. Puke... sick... vomit...sucks.... sigh...
Posted by: LouHoo at September 9, 2008 07:18 AM
Two guys teaming up to the end is getting rather boring. I think the Memphis just shot himself in the foot and guaranteed Dan the win. He came off looking like the bad guy while Dan is off scot free. If they had waited to vote Keesha off until the final three, she wouldn't have harbored the hard feelings she has now. If it wasn't for her, Memphis wouldn't even be there, and she was a guaranteed vote for him. I was rooting for Keesha/Dan the whole way so this makes me sad.
And I think the reason she wasn't talking to Memphis about it is that he wasn't allowed to talk to her - the DR wouldn't let him say anything but 'sorry'. (or so he claimed)
You know Jerry is going to win it now. Bleh.

Of course keesha got lazy a few weeks ago! She was tired of carrying her whole alliance herself!!!!! Lets face it Mempis would def. be gone if not for her and probably dan too! She save them week after week herself! After that, she was counting on her alliance to help her later and THIS is how she get repaid! What has memphis done this whole game? Sure he has won a few povs here at the end (which were thrown to him) but he has done NOTHING to deserve being in final 2. I like dan but he is being mean by not telling her as well. If they really think the jh hates keesha, why are they kicking her now? Seems to me jerry is a sure thing to win if in final 2, are they just not thinking about that? Jerry may lose the endurance comp but he has a GREAT chance of winning the final 2 comps with questions! I think jerry may win this whole thing and I will laugh even though I do NOT want to see him win!! Come on memphis, stick to your alliance so another 'crappy' person doesn't win this game. Why doesn't dan figure out that memphis has a deal with jerry too? he's smart but that is an easy thing to figure out!
Posted by: stacey at September 9, 2008 07:37 AM
I hope Jerry wins now.
Posted by: Karen at September 9, 2008 07:41 AM
Exactly Dee, every year the hms at the end say 'i want to take the hm most derserving to be there, even though they may be harder to beat". bet yet they ALWAYS end up picking the person they think they can beat!! They are just kidding themselves when they say that! That is why we (almost) ALWAYS have the least liked hm win the whole game!! Haven't they ever watched the show? Jerry is going to smoke them in the final two question comps, he is good at those! They keep relying on him losing the endurance one but that is only one of three you dufus'!!!! Memphis is not a big jerk wad in my book, hope he loses to whoever is with him in final 2!
Posted by: stacey at September 9, 2008 07:44 AM
THIS SUCKS!! I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. First, I was a big Keesha fan. She lost me a little when she won HOH & buddied up to Libra hard core even after knowing Libra was talking about wanting Keesha up on the block. Then, she pushes for Angie's eviction, which, in my opinion, was only because Angie was so pretty & was tight with Memphis. With Angie out of the way, she's got one less girl to compete with & she would have Memphis all to herself & that really ticked me off. Stuff like that REALLY irks me as a woman. It quickly became obvious that Angie's eviction was not going to be vindicated, so I was back on Keesha's team & was really pushing for her to at least stay longer than April, and maybe even win the game if Renny didn't.
Now, I don't know what happened. She got too comfortable, assumed that the boys were gonna have her back when EVERYONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE KNEW DIFFERENT, & now she's completely given up & is now on her way out the door. I still like Keesha alot, but this proves that she didn't play the game very well, even if she did make it to the final 4. She won her 1st HOH only bc Libra beeped in 1st & gave a wrong answer, & has used her friendships with men to 'secure' her safety. She should've won POV the night she got drunk, & saved herself & Renny, but she blew it. Now, she's not even TRYING to save herself (maybe that'll change today) from going to sequester!! I feel like it is justice for what she did to Angie, but I'm still mad that she's probably leaving.
At the end of almost every season, the jurors got their heads in the game & ended up voting based off game play & not who they liked or didn't like. I just don't know about these characters, though!! If Keesha were to make it in the final 2 with anyone, I can't see April or Ollie voting for her, & the 2 might be able to sway Michelle's vote to be against Keesha too, depending on if Dan's there & how well he sweet talks her on their vaca. And as much as people couldn't stand Jerry, the fact that he's as old as dirt, has won numerous comps, & has a sick wife could very well turn everyone's vote FOR HIM!! What does Memphis & Dan plan on doing later? Stabbing each other in the back to take Jerry with one of them to the final 2? They're really ok with betraying each other like that? Dan & Memphis might as well just give Jerry the 500k!!!! Dan does deserve to win if he makes the final 2, with all of his deviousness & the number of comps he's won, but will the jurors see it that way??????

HD, thanks for summarizing this chain of events and for the videos.
I like that Keesha confronted the weasel and the ferrett, but she does indeed have a short memory(re Renny). As has been pointed out numerous times here, no one *deserves* anything in this game. They can't rely on anyone but themselves for safety, especially this late in the season.
I don't care who wins, but really hope smarmy Weasel Dan and his crusty shorts get 3rd Place.

Thanks HD for the videos you posted today. I had never seen The Soup before, but will be looking for it on my TV. Seems as if it's on E channel. Am I right? Dan was clearly uncomfortable in his marathon discussion with Keesha. He is lucky she wasn't sitting close to him as she would have figured out he was lying to her. LOL! Dan needs to win the last HOH or he's a goner. He possibly could win against Memphis but not Jerry, so endure Fra Dan. You need the power. Looking forward to tonite's show. BTW we dodged the Ike bullet in So.Fla. and hoping the same for you in Houston, HD.
Posted by: Betty at September 9, 2008 08:00 AM
WOW! Where have you been...! Lets not forget who just sent Ollie packing last Thursday night!!! How many HOH competetions has Memphis won???? He's a coat tail rider willing to continue the ride with someone who has done the same and doesn't deserve to win!
BB must be really doing some magic with Dan for Dan to sit back/watch and NOT make manouvers for Keesha to stay....he has to know/suspect that Memhpis has a F2 with Jerry and him. Why does Dan want Keesha out? (He doesn't)
This is similar to the manipulative talks that BB did Ryan before he decided to vote out Natalie...UGH!
Well, its another disappointing season! Question is how many times can BB do this crap and still have good ratings/fans?
Secondly, lets hope that this bites the lazy fart in the butt and the F2 is Dan and Jerry; Jerry wins BB10....while I don't totally disrespect Dan he doesn't deserve the 500K either. Memphis deserves a lolly pop!
They both deserve a bit of karma. Undoubtly, Memphis would NOT be in this game without Keesha! What happened to I'd rather take someone that was strong than a 75 year old Jerritol? Don't blame her for not talking crap about Renny last week...she is one of the two (Along with Renny) that can walk out the door with their heads held high...! Keesha you are too ethical for the BB game...I know that you would have taken Memphis to the F3! UGH to Memphis...but he's a natural!
Posted by: jdlk at September 9, 2008 08:01 AM
She did own up to not telling Renny, but all I want to see is Jerry leaving..Is BB setting this all up, the good editing etc., so "nice old Jerry" can be a hero and take it all? Set a new record for "oldest winner" on a reality show? I hope not. Still hoping that Dan is the big winner.
Posted by: SuZieQ at September 9, 2008 08:05 AM
i am so mad at these boys, letting that dirty old scum bag jerry in the final 3, they owed keesha that spot memphis did nothing in this game really. and jerry i hope takes it all now. mean old boys.
Posted by: meemee at September 9, 2008 08:10 AM
I agree with most of the posts. It's going to suck when Keesha goes. Jerry will pull it out of his a*s and win the whole thing...stunning the "Renegades". I love Memphis and Dan both (Dan more so) and I truly believed they all 3 had one anothers backs. They had so far. It would have been great to see the 3 people most everyone wants in there to battle it out for the 500K. Now I think Jerry will take Memphis, Dan will be bamboozled (seeing the error in his ways with Keesha), and the nasty old man will go home with the money...in turn making his family wealthy for the obvious "old" man reasons...and none of them played in the game.
Posted by: Jason at September 9, 2008 08:14 AM
Just another bad strategic move on her part. She should have told Dan that if she is evicted her and Renny's votes are going to Memphis. Dan has no reason to try to keep her in the house now. Dan already knows he's not getting Jerry's vote and he desperately needs Keesha's and Renny's to have any chance of winning the money. Looks like Memphis is taking the game.
Posted by: Gretel at September 9, 2008 08:23 AM
GO JERRY!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Joel at September 9, 2008 08:32 AM
I really hate to see Keesha leave. Do the houseguests read what people think of them once they finish the game? I owuld think Keesha's family would like to smack Jerry across the face for his disgusting remarks.
Thanks for the videos.
Posted by: Grace at September 9, 2008 08:34 AM
Well, if Dan & Memphis take Jerry to the F3, they deserve to lose. Yes, Jerry has been mean and NASTY, but he has not backstabbed and gone back on his word to people that I can recall. Am I a Jerry fan, HELL NO, I want Dan to win, but he is making a huge mistake if he lets Memphis keep Dan!
Posted by: starshockey at September 9, 2008 08:39 AM
OH HD, how could you put my darling Flipper in the same sentence as Batty Natty? I don't care what the comparisons are, it's just, just, just not right.
I also am bummed that Keesha is going home, because I not only wanted her in the final 2, but I wanted her to be there to help Dan in final 3. I don't like that Memphis is in good with Jerry.
Just remember any and all of you smug-as-Memphis Memphis lovers, I'm not gonna come pick any of you up off the ground when Grandpa Yuckles or Father Dan boots Memphis' ass out the door. Or when heartless bastard Memphis boots our most precious Dan out the door. :)
I really wish Keesha was a street fighter and she could have made a logical; or if not logical a really good defensive argument to Memphis why she shouldn't be evicted. But she did say this, and it is absolutely right... when Memphis makes up his mind, there is no changing it. So she figures she'd be knocking her head against ye olde eviction door. I just hope that during the day today she doesn't mouth off that Dan will have her vote and that she will do what she can to make sure the jury votes for him... because that will put Dan in some jeopardy.
For her pre-eviction speech tonight, I kinda hope that Keesha goes for Memphis's throat and picks at the "womanizer" scab, and then says something like, yeh Memphis, that's right, it's just the same in here as in real life, you use women, and then you lose them... with no conscience about it whatsoever... Yeh, Memphis, old buddy, old pal... I am sure Ashley is really proud of you right now.
I guess the long and the short of it, and why this is a slightly bitter pill for me to swallow (but I'll get over it so just shut up), is that I hate smugness in anyone (anyone but myself and perhaps HD that is), and I guess that's why I despised Dr. Will and Mike Boogie. I wish there was something in the Big Brother game that was an anti-smugness device. For example, I wish that (instead of some of the stupid little bones BB throws us) that part of the game was that three of the evictions would be voted on by the public, not the houseguests. That way, people would always have to be careful who they nominated, and would never ever be able to afford themselves the luxury of smugness.
Okay, I've had my Keesha moment, my toenails are done and dry (hot pink passionfruit today), and I'm outta here.
Posted by: BenF at September 9, 2008 08:47 AM
Well I for one am glad that Keesha figured it out. She is a smart cookie. If she played her cards right she could end up staying tonight. Lets not all forget about Dan and Michelle on that island together! I think that the HG's are gonna be shown a clip of Dan's little adventure with Michelle and they are told he had the choice to pick a HG or Juror for the trip, I say this will be done before the eviction. Could change the game as Julie said.
I can't wait for tonight's show. It's gonna be good!
I still hate Jerry, his ass needs to go.!!!
Posted by: Linda at September 9, 2008 08:56 AM
I have been a big fan of the Memphis/Dan/Renny/Keesha foursome for a while and what Memphis and Dan are doing to Keesha makes me sick! Keesha was never my favorite of the 4 and I know she sunk herself by not doing better in the comps, but this is like Ryan and Adam stringing Sheila along all over again.
Memphis and Dan are being ASSES, plain and simple. I can't believe she is buying in to Dan's innocent routine. Keesha needs to smarten up and tell Memphis that Dan is letting him do all the dirty work in evicting her while Dan keeps his hands cleans. Memphis is playing right into Dan's hands by sending Keesha to the jury house to bad mouth Memphis to everyone else.
At this point I don't want to see any of the 4 left win but I'm almost hoping JERRY of all people pulls out the win and knocks those 2 down a peg. My dream would be to BRING BACK RENNY!

Gray said: "This is the first time that I've felt sorry for anyone this season for being backdoored. Keesh is a nice woman, when she's not looped and dropping f-bombs all over the place, so you gotta feel for her."
Ah Gray, I feel a special kinship with you now. You have a soft spot in your heart for Keesha. Or is that only a newfound art of the preface to head off that tag team of women posters who have been coming at you so hard lately? :)
Posted by: BenF at September 9, 2008 08:58 AM
Man this season is getting worse, unless a last minute change of mind happens, I'll have a bad final three.
I like Dan in a way but he had an unfair advantage being America's Player.
I totally don't like Memphis anymore. He is very cutthroat.
We all know about Jerry.
Alas another year of a horrible final two.
BB2, BB4, BB6, BB7, BB8, BB10
Posted by: rennyfan at September 9, 2008 09:04 AM
I think they would be better to take Keesha, she is the one most affected by being in the house, cut off from everything. She's only thinking of getting out. Also the last veto was bogus! If Keesha had won and took someone (Memphis) off the block, there was no one to replace him with! Would Jerry just go home? Paula
Posted by: Paula at September 9, 2008 09:06 AM
I think Memphis and Dan are making a big mistake keeping Jerry, I too think Jerry will take all.
Keesha should not have given up last night, she should have kept after Memphis. How many times have we seen someone we thought was a sure thing to go home, talk their way into being saved?
I hope she realizes today is her last chance.
I hope Memphis gets HOH, sends Dan packing and Jerry wins it all. UUGH! I hate Jerry, but these guys just don't get it and I hope it bites em in the ass.
Posted by: bbfanindallas at September 9, 2008 09:07 AM
It makes sense people...the final HOH is ALWAYS endurance in round 1...They're not gonna change that because Jerry is old. So its a given Memphis/Dan will win that 1st part. So their thinking is, Jerry has to win BOTH the 2nd part and 3rd part which is highly unlikely. And if Jerry loses the 2nd part, they can just end it right there.
Keesha would know the only chance she has is winning that final HOH and she'd be alot tougher to beat in my opinion then the old man.
Well played Memphis and Dan.

My favorite was Renny from day 1.....We are both from Nawlins.
I have not liked Jerry much this season, but I like many others am now rooting for him because Dan and espeically memphis are just slimey in how they have played the game in the last few weeks.
I cant believe I am saying this....but.....
Go Jerry
(ow ow ow.....I hurt myself)

I mean to say Dan is making a mistake if he lets Memphis keep Jerry. He will win. Come on Dan get on the ball. Jerry will take this out from under you. Get rid of Jerry now then Memphis!!!

I am confused by how some of you are saying that Memphis is the total bad guy in this evict Keesha move. Maybe I have missed some game play. From what I have witnessed, Dan has manipulated Memphis to the point that he has him evicting Keesha to keep his hands clean. Memphis has been saying a lot these past 2 days that he feels really bad about evicting Keehsa, to the point where he is almost thinking of keeping her, BUT Dan keeps the evict Keesha thoughts in his head.
I also hope that Keesha wises up and figures out that Dan is actually sending her home, but I am not hopeful.

I know there are a lot of comments so this one will never be seen but after falling on the floor laughing at The Soup clips I am begging someone to tell me what the hell Michelle and Jace were doing? It is seriously bugging me...I have no trust level any more that the game isn't rigged and that the contestants know either someone who was previously on, someone in casting, someone at CBS but WTF was that exchange all about? Hoping to be heard here in the wilderness...bahhhhhhhh

HD...YOU ARE WRONG...don't you remember that dan memp and keesh had an agreement they all agreed they would get to the final three THEN they would be on their own....except of course dan and memp knew they would be final two...when it came down to it they would take each other....at the same time keesha also said to them "if anything changes and you have to vote me out please tell me before, so i am prepared" and they ALL AGREED...so that is why keesh is so upset, memp didn't even have the balls, prob doesn't have any anyway, to tell her...that was the least he could have and should have done....also, as far as renny goes, renny could tell by keeshas actions she knew, renny even said that and i'm sure renny understood, they are very close, would you tell someone that kind of news...keesh was hurt too, and she just didn't want to tell renny, and i know renny is classy enough to understand that part....it really isn't that big of a deal...but i know alot of you will disagree with me and that's ok...i watch and listen to everything and i think keesh got the raw end of the deal....yes she would have been pizzed to be leaving but at least they would have kept their word...and i think dan FINALLY saw the side of memp that we all have seen all along and now dan knows he is gonna have to fight and not let memp have an inch...i hope memp feels so guilty, oh, i forgot he can't feel guilty he has no heart....
one other thing...it seems very obvious that CBS and BB have been controlling the outcome of this season....how unfair is that...just because they want jerriatrics to win this season so they can claim to have the oldest turd to win a reality show....that sucks and i think is very unfair to all of the houseguest and us too....and if your wondering what i mean....if the dr told memp he could not tell keesh...that is controlling and should NOT be allowed...and there are other things that they have referred to, i understand not talking production ect.....but they NEVER should be allowed to control private conversations....i hope some miricle happens, even a heart attack...so keesha stays...she HAS played and hard and deserves the final three and really the final two.
Posted by: debi at September 9, 2008 10:02 AM
Debi--From what Memphis has said this week, he is telling Keesha he is voting her out, he told Dan he would tell her the day of, BUT Dan being the sneaky self that he is, beat him to it to make him look like the good guy. Don't underestimate Dan, he is controlling this game NOT Memphis. I do also think that Keesha got the raw end of the deal and I am sad to see her go.
Posted by: hockeymom at September 9, 2008 10:19 AM
I want Jerry to win now, too.
Screw it, let's let him pick his nose before Julie Chen, sporting his red I AM MARINES VETERAN hat, matching wife-beater, some shorts to ride that sexy ass of his, some white tube socks pulled to the thigh, and a scuffed up pair of Reebocks.
He can pick his nose, adjust his tight armed wife-beater, and then pick his fruit of the looms' from the groin area. Wipe a few hogging buggies on the chair, and....
Nah, that just wont work. Go Dan.
Posted by: ClayPo at September 9, 2008 10:23 AM
Memphis don't fill bad about evicting Keesha, remember his intro video, he has Conned people his whole life or something like that. He smiled when he heard keesha didn't want to sleep in the same room with him.

Hey Everyone, I think we understand the game. and HD is right it IS a game...BUT...Come on, you KNOW you can get close to people. It's human...so in that I DO feel part of the game when you have alliance so close as Keesha , Dan and Memphis are is to at least give them a little Respect, you know it doesnt hurt to treat people right in here if they are going to the jury house as we SEE now with Keesha and Dan as she is giving him HER vote and going to try to sway the others as well. I think they chickened out here, though the BB Doctor told them not to tell her, I think SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD....She asked MULTIPLE times and they wouldn't be here if it weren't for her..she DID deserve to know...after all.....you see how it worked right ??? Memphis is dirt and Dan is the guy with her vote...Keesha NOT telling Renny is a little different, Renny really KNEW she was going and Keesha did tell her she had a feeling she was going...Watching Keesha ask OVER and OVER....cause she really HAD NO idea really...till last night, I do feel for her..
Dan, Memphis, you better win Guys, if Jerry beats you two I may have to move out of the Country..LOL

Dee,
My dear friend, I'm afraid you've steered our little starship into a "Tholian Web" of circular logic.
Dee - "They did it because they chose the money over spirited competition and respect. Dan has always stated that he'd rather be in F3 with people who both deserve to be there because of good game play."
Your argument begs the question, of the final four who has proven themselves to be the least competent?
Uh, oops... I know. Sorry, I meant other than Memphis.
Now hold a sec, don't get me wrong. With the notable exception of Flipper's migraine inducing cachinnations, I very much like the gal. Sure, she's been three sheets to the wind more times than a late-summer KKK meeting in Louisiana; but overall she's a good kid. Moreover the last thing your ole' buddy DRATS wants, is to deprive our good friend BennyF of his eye-candy.
However Dee, the sad truth is that your proposition that she is the player who most deserves to be there based upon "good game play" is a logical fallacy. As much as I absolutely loath the old Coot-meister, (all personal dissatisfaction with his repulsive habits, reprehensible actions, two-facedness, and blatant tartuffery aside) the evidence would point to he rather than Keesha being better player.
Therefore, even if Dan-Shark and his annoying little pet remora had based their decision upon your proffered criteria, (rather than the flawed assumption that she is the greater competitive threat) the result would be the same.
Applying petitio principii or not; the result still blows,
DRATS

Why do some of you think that Memphhis would have told Keesha except that the DR told him he couldn't? Oh, you believe that because Memphis is saying that they told him he couldn't tell her?!?!?! Well, must be true then because we all know that Memphis doesn't lie when he wants to!!!
Get real people... Memphis said that because he doesn't have the balls to be honest with her face to face. He is a user of women and it is most likely his pattern to use, use, use and then deny, deny, deny while looking for the nearest exit so he can run, run, run. I'm just hoping that Ashley is seeing a new side of her lover and it opens her eyes a little about what he is really like.

Hamsterlings,
Welcome to OZ; population 4...
Dorothy Gale - Keesha
Tin Man - Memphis, (no heart)
Scarecrow - Jerry, (no brain)
Lion - Dan, (no nerve)
Ok Keesha, just follow Glinda's (Renny's) instructions,

I am confused as to why many of you bother to watch this show season after season when you clearly are at odds with its basic premise. The show is not about being polite, showing what a great person you are, making friends and sticking it out to the end, or even winning the most competitions -- it is a human experiment designed to test survival of the fittest, and unfortunately in such a game the nice guys typically finish last (or at least not first).
I don't blame you for pulling for the nice ones -- sure, it would be a terrific fantasy if the most sweet natured, loyal player made it to the end and everyone voted for that person and hugged it out as a group as the credits roled, but so is thinking Price Charming is going to show up at your door with a glass slipper in just your size . . .
To discredit the game play of the now Big Brother archtypes filled by Dan and Memphis this season is to discredit the game itself -- make no mistake, there is a defined skill required to stay under the radar until absolutely necessary and win as few competitions as possible, and when this player perseveres and makes it to the finals, they should receive just as much accolades as a player who chooses a different strategy. It would be a lousy game to play and to watch if there was only one selected and/or successful strategy to chose from -- everyone would be making the same moves and behaving the same way . . . bo-ring! We need the melting-pot of BB personalities along with their chosen strategic gaming paths to make this show what we have grown to love.
You don't have to like Memphis or Dan, but to say they don't deserve to be where they are is ridiculous -- they lasted in the house week after week without being voted out by their own housemates and without breaking any rules or doing anything that hasn't been done season after season on the show. They deserve to be there because clearly their actions set them up to remain as others swiftly exited one by one . . . To me, the ones that don't deserve to be there are the houseguests that watched the past seasons and didn't realize that those laying low are typically the ones to watch out for in the end.
If you want a happy ending where the good guy always wins, try the Disney Channel. But if you want to watch a fascinating social experiment about the true nature of human interactions when faced with the possibility of victory and wealth, keep watching our little hamsters . . .
Thanks, HD -- your site is incredible and you've accumulated so many avid and largely well-spoken (and out-spoken!) followers! I am usually reading your site from my blackberry in airports between flights as a I travel a lot so I rarely have a chance to comment, but you definitely add a valuable dimension to our beloved game.

I have to say that I have alot more emotions towards this situation than I thought I would. Here is my take on everyone that is left.
Keesha - I can understand why she is upset. Even though it is a game she is still human and feels betrayed by Memphis. I think that she has a brother sister relationship with both Dan & Memphis and really trusted them. I know that is not always smart in this game but like someone said before me you HAVE to trust people in the beginning of the game to get this far. Also, I don't necessarily think that the problem is that they are voting her out but that they are voting her out over Jerry. She would probably be OK if it was Renny, but not Jerry. And, I can't say that I blame her on that one.
Memphis - I feel for him also. I think that he does actually feel bad about this one. The fact that he won't look her in the eye says alot (to me anyway). People keep saying that he doesn't have a soul or emotions in this game but I disagree. The fact that I have heard him say more than once about how Michelle did not give him a hug when she left makes me think that he cares more than he wants people to know. I do think that he made a HUGE mistake in tell Dan to "throw him under the bus last night" because now she really hates him and thinks that Dan's a saint. But, I think that he may have done that for Keesha. He let Dan do that, which gave Keesha someone to vent to and make sure that she was OK. I really do think that he does have a heart when it comes to Keesha and is feeling awful about what he is doing.
Dan - He is one smart yet possible dumb player. If all of the balls that he has up in the air right now stay under control he could be golden. Or they could all crash down on him and give him one hell of a headache. I do have to say that has alot of guts. Let's just hope that Keesha and Michelle don't have a heart to heart at the jury house. The worst thing that he could do is send Memphis to the jury house the way that Memphis is sending Keesha. If Memphis were to go to the jury house pissed at Dan and spill some of Dan's secrets he Dan could be in trouble. I don't really foresee that happening but if it does the only thing that could save him is if people vote based on game play and not hurt feelings.
Jerry - Not much I can say about him except that half of me (the half that loves BB) hopes that he doesn't win and the other half (the half that thinks of him as a grandfather with a sick wife and know that the money would probably really make a difference to him and his family) hopes the he does win. BUT...given the choice he would be going home tonight.
Also, for those that have put this season in same category as BB8, you are crazy. Even with Jerry there the F3 is still way better than Zach, Dani, & ED.

I am upset Keesha will be voted out,I have always liked Memphis and Dan,Keesha. I think what the guys are doing is a coward and lazy way of winning the game! If it wasn't for Keesha Memphis would not be in the house today. It made me so mad that last night when Keesha was talking to them in the kitchen, they had nothing to say,COWARDS!Memphis always said through out the game the people in the end should be the one that played the game and Keesha has played, saved their butts several times!! She deserve final three and a chance to try and they are taking that away from her. Dan and Memphis want an easy win and I hope that Jerry fights them hard and tht one of them ends up in the jury house! I believe the difference between Renny leaving and Keesha is that Renny knew as soon as Memphis won that pov, keesha was blind sided,to be honest how do you tell your freind that she is leaving, but Dan has done a good job at making Memphis be the bad guy and i cant believe Memphis doesn't see his votes fading away!!!!!

HD said: "The whole thing smacks of the Adam, Ryan, and Natalie situation last season."
All I can say is you were reading my mind. Keesha made the same fatal mistake that Chatty-Natty did... never try to come between a man and his money.
Benf said: "I wish there was something in the Big Brother game that was an anti-smugness device. "
If they had one, the government would regulate it, tax it, and sell it to Korea... so it would be useless anyway.
and now to the subject at hand - I like Keesha... a lot. I think she's a really sweet gal with a horribly annoying laugh... but I digress... However, I am a purist in the BB world, and I believe that the only 2 players that deserve to be in the final two are the 2 players that end up there.
As for all BB Production manipulations (both real and imagined)... it is part of the game... sorta like NBA Referees...

C'mon Memphis has been riding off of everybody's coatails since he talked Keesha and Libra into saving him. The only reason why he won a few competitions was beause Keesha (stupid) was stupid enough to let him have them not because he was so good at it! I really hated to see him make it this far, but if only Keesha and Renny were not so trusting.
Posted by: kh at September 9, 2008 12:18 PM
Okay. I can't talk about Keesha anymore. Everything I could ever imagine to say about the situation has been said up, down and sideways already. So, on to more exciting topics. Keesha is yesterdays news.
Julie Chen. She wears terrible outfits on Big Brother, but always looks good on Craig Ferguson. Wonder why? I must say that I've come to like Julie lots more since watching her interact with Craig. First - its refreshing to know that she really does follow along with the happenings in the house. Unlike one person who hosts an online talk show about the house and don't think it important to know about the things she is paid to talk about.
I think that Dan should be able to take his spider back with him to his school.
I hope that one of the HOH contests involves dumping buckets of puke on Jerry. That would make it worthwhile that he remained in the house.
Oh - and HD, you have an errant tag so the first few comments are all appearing to look like they are hyperlinked. (Feel free to delete this before posting)

Dan is throwing Memphis under the bus and having a good time doing it. He is
sending Keesha to the jury house to change everyone's mind, he has the two
biggest mouths on his side now, Keesha and Michelle. I would hope that Michelle
saw through Dan but he comes across so innocent and then goes straight for the
throat. He is playing Memphis and it will be he who would take Jerry, not
Memphis. I actually thing Memphis trusts him, while Dan works to get his way
behind his back. Dan will probably get Memphis to throw the last HOH saying
something like let me be the bad one and send Jerry home.

Thanks HD for the videos...
I watched it all last night and I LMAO. In my opinion Keesha got just what she deserved! All she has done for weeks since she got April out of the game is smirk at all of the other HG's that she helped to get out of the game with the help of Dan and Memphis. And all you ever see her doing is Eating, Drinking, (Lots of Drinking) and Sleeping, and Probably and lot of using the john. Just like Babies everywhere. Oh lets not forget the tons of make up daily and how many times can a person paint their nails and toes? Sheesh!
She has sat back and let Dan and Memphis win the the major comps. and felt smug that she KNEW she was safe. As for what she did for Memphis...he paid back that debt last week when he didn't vote her out. So in my mind, she seems to have given the game away, by not competiting to the best of her ability. WHO gets high before a comp? THAT was plain stupid. I said this in a back post; that Dan is winning everything because HE is the only one paying close attention to what is going on. Keesha doesn't deserve to stay in that house any more than Jerry imo. and If I was choosing who I could beat in an endurance comp for half a million or even 50 grand I would kick out the biggest contestant of the two...so Bye Bye Keesha, Karma Bites doesn't it? And why does she think she deserves to know she is out any more than any other HG? UH does the name Renny ring a bell? The list is long and she was asked and denied or played dumb with them all...so Tough Nuggies I say...Crocodile Tears can only get you so far...

This is why I couldn't play the game. I could not be as cold hearted as it takes to win. They are real people with emotions so I understand why Keesha is upset. She did do the same to Renny.
Posted by: rennyfan at September 9, 2008 01:04 PM
Hey HD I know u don't like Keesha but I think what the guys are doing is low.Keesha has had their backs from the get go.Save Memphis and she rallyed hard to keep him in the game and always had his back when ever some one wanted to put him on the block(Dan to).Keesha may have got a little lazy on her game play but I think it's because she trusted M&D and believed all that was said about final 3 then it was game on??Keesah evicted Angie because of her part in Brian&Stephen's eviction and lieing about her part(not because she was jeoulous!!!)Keesah knows it's only a game but she also trusted M&D and she would and did stay loyal to the end.She proved it by not letting anyone confince her to put Libra on the block even though the whole house wanted it.D&M are making a big mistake IMO and Jerry will come back and bite them in the ass and win OOPS Karma is a BIACH!!! Oh yah can anyone tell me WHY would BB tell Memphis not to tell Keesha and if so does any one believe it?? Maybe their is a twist when she gets evicted that will be what Julie meant by It can change the whole game Hmmmmmmmmm just wish ful thinking.HD what do u think?

Tavia,
Well dear, unless I'm very much mistaken (as if that could happen twice in the same century, let alone the same week) the SS didn't wear sheets on their heads. Tragically, that little cowardly "Casper" costume accessory was employed solely by our own nations' embarrassing example of inbreeding...
Ergo, the the "three sheets to the wind" analogy wouldn't have been applicable to Nazis.
Besides, (as someone who actually grasps the meaning of "Sempre Fidelis") any analogous statements of and/or pertaining to Goose-stepping morons, I reserve strictly for Colonel Klink.

Hey Rennyfan...ITA Keesha is not so innocent in this whole thing...she told both Dan and Memphis that she was taking them to the final 2...she is dumb...she said it to Dan about Memphis in front of him last night. They compared notes on that later. Memphis is doing the same with Dan and Jerry, but he wouldn't be dumb enough to TELL them about it. She probably doesn't even remember she said it...I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT when she said it...screaming at Memphis in front of Dan for not saying to her face he was voting her out...After that...would YOU change your mind and keep her...she should her ACE. As I said Karma Bites...So As Steven said "Suck It Bitches"...Bye Bye. I don't feel sorry for her one bit. She sounds a lot like Sheila from last season. Now it is time for Dan to shake Memphis after the next HOH...depending on who wins...Dan is playing a good game. I would take Jerry to the end because EVERY BODY HATES Jerry...he would get no votes.

teuqsuob33: Thank you for enlightening me on the basic premise of Big Brother.
Now it is my turn to enlighten you on the basic premise of Silly Hamsters:
Pick your favorite houseguests, then bitch about the other ones until your eyes bleed.
(Dan and Memphis are houseguests too. They don't have immunity from bitching, no matter what point in the game we are at.)
Posted by: BenF at September 9, 2008 01:41 PM
Hi HD! I thought the same thing as you when Keesha was asking them to at least tell her if they were going to vote her out, but later on she said she understood why they didn't and she said she couldn't even tell Renny. I also think she knew that it was Memphis and Dan, or at least suspected it, cause when she first got mad, she said Memphis is voting me out and Dan you knew about it all along, but then Dan talked his way out of it, and she believed him. I do think she kinda got too comfortable though, she really sucked in the last few comps, but she also trusted too much, and in this game you can't really trust anybody no matter what. I just don't see how they could keep Jerry over her, it's not like she is any better at the comps than Jerry especially question ones. Oh well, I'm still hoping Dan wins the whole thing, he is such a smart player, he deserves it.
Posted by: cathy at September 9, 2008 01:46 PM
IM PISSED KEESHA'S GOING
Dan and Memphis better hope that Jerry doesnt win HOH or i will be royally pissed off!
Let's hope Dan or Memphis takes this season if Keesha won't!
Posted by: Robert at September 9, 2008 01:52 PM
PS...I forgot to mention how much I LOVED Dan being the consoling friend to Keesha for her VOTE last night...LOL. He is so slick and Memphis is a fool for not seeing she would never give him her vote now. Dan looks like sugar is in his blood...LOL...He is playing this game so well! Memphis is doing his dirty work and he comes out smelling like a rose. They are convienced that Jerry could never win any of the comps to the final 2. That they will shut him out...I like the suspense because Jerry has won comps in the past. So the fight is on...But if either of them was smart they would dumb the other and keep Jerry no matter what. Jerry is nobody's favorite person in the house so he would be a guarantee for the win for first prize. This is a game not a friendship contest. Survival of the cleverest.
Posted by: gerry at September 9, 2008 01:52 PM
Damn it HD, I really wanted to counter-attack your points about Keesha, but unfortunately I mostly have to agree with you on those points. I do believe it was a little different with Renny since they seemed to be really good friends and she didn't want to hurt Renny by telling her or messing up her game. And Renny was leaving for sure anyway. On the other hand MemphASS doesn't give a shit if he hurts her or anyone else. It's all about MemphASS. Although I wanted and think Keesha deserves to go to the finally 3, she blew it last night by trusting Dan. She should have kept up her rant about how she would make sure the jury doesn't vote for either one of them. It probably wouldn't have helped, but it would have been better than crying to Dan and letting him know she is giving up. But now I am 100 percent on the bandwagon for Dan again. He played it cool as far as I can see by not telling MemphASS she will try to get the votes for Dan and not Memphass. And I can only hope he keeps it that way. I don't trust Memphass as far as you can throw him, although I think you do HD. And yes, Keesha and Renny f**ked up royally with the POV competitions, but I still think if it wasn't for Keesha Memphass and Dan may not be where they are and they should show a little bit of loyalty in a non-loyal game and let her have a try at it too. I know one thing for sure this hasn't ended up boring like I thought it would at this point in the game and I am looking very forward tonight's live blogging and the final HOH coming up. Whaoooooooooooooo!

DRATS - Love the Oz analogy. Can I be so bold as to expand it? 'member OlliePops? He's the Mayor of Munchkin Land (we represent the Lollipop Guild/Gang . . . ). And his FB is none other than the Wicked Witch of the West. Not the Wicked Witch from Wicked - because she turned out to have a heart. No, the Wicked Witch from the original. Green with envy. (She, too, had quite the forehead, as I recall). Then, the DR is the Wizard. Renny is Glinda or Auntie Em.

You can't argue with the fact that the Renegades have proved themselves the best players by having arrived at their destination as the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. But now that they are in charge of at least F3, if not F2, they should be careful not to outsmart themselves. Keeping Jerry over Keesha is a risky idea that may prove their downfall. If so, you won't find me crying. I would have put the old man on the block the first week I could. He's been a constant pain in the ass this whole season with his awful voice, bad habits and ridiculous 50-year-old Marine get-up. If he walks off with the cash, it will serve the two smart alecks right.
HD, you run a wonderful blog! Thanks so much for your hard work and for keeping things lively. How about an aural showdown between Michelle's mating fax machine and Keesha's Flipper laugh?

Jerry has a very good chance of winning this game if Keesha is evicted tonight!!!
What are Dan and Memphis thinking? Certainly not about how the jurors will vote!
Jerry will have Libra, April, Michelle, and Ollie's votes locked up!!!
Renny and Keesha will be the only Wildcards left.
If Jerry wins HOH tonight he will probably win the game.
Posted by: rb at September 9, 2008 02:16 PM
Gerry- the endurance comp is only part 1 of three parts!! The last two will probably be question type comps (although #2 might be question/physical), but jerry is GREAT at those? Why would they want to take jerry who has the win if in final 2 opposed to keesha who they think everyone hates? It just doesn't make any sense to me except to hint at maybe memphis taking jerry instead of dan? Memphis is a lying dirtbag who did NOTHING in this game. His pov were handed to him and keesha saved him several times from going home!!! Where's the loyalty? Thats why all the sh!theads always end up winning this game. B/c people can't stick to their alliances to THE VERY END! They promised her that and now are going back on their word, that is despicable. She deserves to be in final 3 more than memphis even.

I am well aware of that and that is why I am shocked that they are taking Jerry along. Jerry wins many challenges and when he loses he usually is near the top...Keesha has won what? 1 or 2 challenges? And many jurors dislike her as much as they dislike Dan and Memphis!! I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE REASON FOR THIS DECISION!!!
I hope this decision comes back to haunt Dan and Memphis!!
GO JERRY, GO!!!

HD,
Yes, you slapped my hands for daring to be sad that Keesha got blindsided. However, NO, I won't bow to your view that Keesha got lazy and gave up in the last weeks. What I saw were two weasels (whom I used to want to win) that finally started trying to win competitions.
Yes, the premise of the game is to win at all costs, not to make friends. And that will happen. I don't HAVE to like it. And I will be sad if I want to, so there! LOL
Love your site HD and thanks for letting me have my say.

DRATS, I appreciate your taking the time to take me on, so to speak. But I think you think "good game play" is something slightly different than I. The Codger's game play to me is not that effective. He's been very lucky to get where he is, and lots of times he's been on the outside of the inner circles, only valuable as a vote. He was the ultimate pawn, thus he is where he is. Keesha has always been on the inner circles, and manipulated herself to be there, and that is why she is in F4. It's simply a matter of opinion who is a better game player, she or the Coot.
However, Memphis DOES think she is a better player than Jeritol, and that is apparently why he is booting her. Thus, he wants the easy way to F2...he thinks. Jerry could surprise him. It's the HG's choice whether they want to include good competition or loyalties in their decision who to take to F3. Dan and Memphis have certainly chosen each other for those reasons...they have a mutual love-fest, and they have chosen to go to F3 together largely because of their mutual love, their Renegade value to BB(supposed), and the fact that they "promised" each other to go to F2. Promise...such a highly actualized emotion and motivation, isn't it? It is not ruthless, it is based on "loyalty", which many of you are foo-fooing in this game. That's BS, this game consists of a multitude of human behavior, and loyalty, trust, and love are equal to ruthlessness, greed, and disdain.
Just go to BB8 to see why the F2 included who it did...based on love, loyalty, and not much else.

Does anyone have a clue what Dan is going to tell Keesha? He also said it will make her smile big. And yes HD, thanks for your FANTASTIC blog. It has made me have something to look forward to during my illnesses. Also, thanks to all the creative people that comment brilliantly on your blog. It has been so much fun to read their opinions. I am wondering what I will do next:).

Come on people lets all be for real. Keesha had all ready accomplished her goal in the game. She had gotten rid of all the women. Now with just the men and Renny she became lazy. It seems to me she was most driven when she was trying to get to that number 1 woman spot.
Don't get me wrong, I really like Keesha and wanted her to be one of the last 3. NOT JERRY nooooo!!!
But I can deal with it as long as Memphis does not backstab my man Dan. DAN TO THE END!!!
This is my theory about Dan. He took Michelle on the trip to the beach to talk to her. He knew he would have to put something on the table, make an offer, or take a suggestion from her to win her over and to prove himself to her. And the one and maybe the only thing he has to do was to get rid of Keesha because after they all talked in the jury house that's who they all realized was running the show at first.
Keesha has made some great moves in the game. I have to give her that. She had a lot of people fooled into blaming others for getting rid of certain people. Funny Memphis, the one she saved a couple of times and was stuck up under, has become one of her downfalls. Renny predicted it but she didn't listen.
I really hate that a woman won't win yet again. They should have stuck with their first alliance, included Michelle and who knows what would have happened. With Libra, Renny, Keesha, April, & Michelle.
GO DAN GO!!!

If the 75 year old man wins, this will go down as the worst move EVER in BB history. Why do they believe Keesha has any better chance of winning HOH than Jerryatric? Dan is better off in the final two with Memphis and Keesha, not that old 75 year old man. What the hell is he thinking to go along with this plan.
I would not have had a problem with them kicking Keesha out after final three, but this is not right sending her out ahead of F******* Jerry. I want to see their renegade faces when Jerry is announced winner.
Posted by: Hennie at September 9, 2008 03:01 PM
I am not a big keesha fan but I dislike jerry even more. the thing that sucks about her going home tonight is the HOH comp will not be near as entertaining..jerry will drop out in first 15 mins then of course memp and dan dont need to fight to hard. Will be a repeat of last season with ryan and adam. not as fun to watch

i'm still trying to get over the out and out jury tampering cbs did when they gave a hg the chance to talk to a juror. this has never happened before and it's just plain wrong!!
then they told memphis NOT TO TELL KEESHA he was voting her out...twice! memphis alluded to them telling him it will be "making a better show." HUH?
i mean, who is playing this game cbs or the house guests??
last night when keesha flat out asked memphis all he could say was..."i'm sorry. i would if i could."
bottom line...production is messing with memphis' game big time!! if he wants to tell keesha he should have been able to..it's his game move not productions.
i say take away the diary rooms all together!!

BenF...I love your Post...My eyes are not bleeding yet, but I Do Bitch plenty about this house full of fools. And I can't stand Keesha, Jerry, or Memphis...Dan Is The Man! So whatever Drama I can get for the remainder of the show...Bring It On! Peace :)
Posted by: gerry at September 9, 2008 03:16 PM
With you callie44! I use to defend CBS all the time to folks who hate BB and said it was rigged. I would defend them by telling everyone it is not tampered with or rigged. Now I wonder and wonder big. I think Keesha may be leaving due to their tampering. Wish I knew for sure, but what could I do but not watch any of CBS's shows. They wouldn't give a shit. I guess I could complain to their sponsers, but don't feel up to doing that. Not much we can do but be disappointed:(.

I have no idea what ITA means?
A Dan/Memphis final two I think goes like this
Dan: Libra, Keesha, Renny
Memphis: April, Ollie, Michelle, Jerry
A Dan/Jerry goes like this
Dan: Libra, Keesha, Renny
Jerry: April, Ollie, Michelle, Memphis*
* It All depends on who put Memphis out
A Memphis/Jerry goes like this
Memphis: Libra, April, Renny, Dan*
Jerry: Ollie, Michelle, Keesha
*It all depends on who put Dan out
From HD - ITA means I Totally Agree

I really hate to see Keesha leave. Keesha figured out that Memphis would be voting her out tonight. Boy she is really piss off and hurt. She and Dan was talking both said that Memphis told them F2 Did you see the look on Dan face? I think Dan started to think Memphis is playing all of them. There is still small change that Dan will try to keep Keesha or maybe not because she is so stupid to keep telling Dan she is going to fight for him to win when she gets to the jury house! No reason to keep her in a way but than again Jerry could win HOH and take Memphis so Dan is out. Dan needs to think about what is best for him. I like all three of them but do not care for Jerry. I really like Keesha I wanted Keesha in F2.For the record Keesha did tell Renny she was going to get voted out the night before she was.

Quincy writes, "Colleen, Your tastes are obviously not everyones tastes since Julie is dressed by the best. Unless you have someone dressing you, maybe you should look in your own mirror and keep your comments to yourself."
Perhaps you should check your own vision. Or perhaps you are talking to someone else. Not sure how you get "Colleen" from the screen name, "Coleen with one "L").
On to your non-sequitur. "Julie is dressed by the best." That doesn't prove anything. Someone can be operated on by the best and still die. And "best" is subjective. I bet there are a lot of people who dress other people who might think that they are better. Certainly, Julie has enough pull that if SHE thought she looked lousy, she could get a different outfit. In fact, friends of mine commented, while watching the show one time, that they thought she probably had a deal to dress herself and that is why it looked so bad. What is the name of her dresser - - since this dresser is the "best" and you apparently know so much? It wouldn't happen to be "Quincy" would it?
Now, I'm supposed to "keep my thoughts to myself" because other people might disagree with me? Like you? This entire site is about differences of opinion. Did I think that other people disagreed with my assessment? Of course. Possibly two people. Julie and her dresser (if there is one). And it's not every episode of BB that she looks terrible. And it wasn't every season. In the first few years she always looked smokin'. Which is another reason why people think she got rid of her dresser and is now dressing herself.
Another non-sequitur. Unless I have someone else dressing me, I have to look at myself in the mirror?" Since when do you have to be rich, famous or both in order to have a valid opinion on the way someone else dresses? And why would I have to dress impeccably? I don't have a job on national television. I work behind the computer a lot and wear pajamas. I'd be very uncomfortable doing that in high fashion and don't think it would serve any purpose.
Now - I don't profess to be a fashion expert. I just know what I like and what I don't like. And I know that HD hasn't always liked her attire. But are we the only ones?
ALL: What do YOU think about Julie's attire on the BB show? Is it always spot-on? Or are there some head-scratching outfits?
Posted by: Coleen with one "L" at September 9, 2008 03:34 PM
RennyFan - I'm not so sure that Michelle would vote for Memphis over Jerry. Memphis was supposed to have her back - and didn't. And whether Michelle votes for Dan over Jerry will depend on how their trip to the beach went.
And April and Ollie are not about to split their votes. They'll vote for Jerry just because he kept their f#%!king secret from the rest of the guests and because they were partners in crime in slurring the other houseguests behind their back.
But I agree with the rest of everything.

Colleen:
I'm with you (and it sounds like Quincy got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning). Half the time I think Julie's outfits are fabulous and the other half of the time I'm wondering if Julie's stylist was drunk when picking out her outfits...
Oh, wait. Maybe Quincy IS Julie's stylist!

Hennie said: "If the 75 year old man wins, this will go down as the worst move EVER in BB history."
Okay, I'm not sayin' it's a good move, but, it will be a long time before "the worst move EVER in BB history" tops Marcellas not taking himself off the block with the "Power of Veto". Don't be tryin to mess with Marcellas' fame.. He owns this one and probably will for many years to come... (Now I know Marcellas reads this blog.. so there's your shout-out from Dixie this season... I love ya sweetheart!)
Jerry will be going home Thursday night. We, along with Dan and Memphis, will have to tolerate him for a few more days. The jury house however, will thank the Renegades for sparing them.
Keesha has given up. The girl was excited that she's going to get to see Renny-Roo again! Yippeee Skippeee! That's worth $500K...
But, hey.. Benf.. the Keesh will look georgeous tonite! Get your TIVO ready!

DRATS (and Im wondering,,,genuinegeno???)
I know you were not reffering to Nazi's. I was just...well...giving you a hard time and "busting your balls". Now, while I understand that were making an attempt at being funny or clever, I was still kinda creeped out. But, really thats fine. I dont take things too seriously on a blog. I thought you of all people could appreciate a little good natured jab. But lets be serious, The KKK and Nazis arent exactly that far from one another. What with the whole "hate monger, racist bastard ass hole" thing. Im just sayin'.
Posted by: Tavia at September 9, 2008 04:08 PM
But about BB. Im not so bothered about Keesha being upset. She's only human. Im sure under those circumstances your ability to rationalize the whole "its a game" thing fades. My issue with her is that she has once again proven that she has given up. She has a channce to try to turn things around. Maybe make Memphis realize that if it comes to Jerry and himself he could very well *gasp* lose to him. Or that while Keesha will be a bit harder to beat in an endurance comp she isnt as good as Jerry in mental comps. Even if she was better in all areas she simply deserves it more. I know this is a long shot, a very long shot. I just think she at least needs to try. And the fact the she wont I guess means that she DOESNT deserve it.
And here we go again. Shoulda coulda woulda.

HD,
Thanks for the clip.
I'm glad Keesha is getting some of her own medicene back. I knew she was sober last night...because after just 1 glass of wine, her face and eyes tells all. After a glass, she looks like she was on a 3 day bender. If she ate like she drinks, she would be healthy and could play this game.
Good bye, fake boobs, dyed blond hair, and that phoney laugh and annoying voice....Keesha the silent movies have been replaced with talkies...unless you plan on "The Nanny" sequel you're Out Of Luck...and even Fran Dresher's voice is smoother than yours!
Posted by: muffy1 at September 9, 2008 05:00 PM
Stacey...I liked your post, only one thing ITD about is that there is NO LOYALTY where a half million dollars is involved. After leaving this house nobody EVER has to see these people again unless they wish too. This is a game of Survival and if Keesha or Dan or Memphis or Jerry put too much trust in the other person; they leave themselves open for disappointment and eviction.
Everyone is responsible for themselves and their actions and if you win the game, that is the point. Loyalty can't even be spelled by these people...they know or should know that at some point each person is on their own. So I don't feel sorry for Keesha; to me It is all good, just want Dan to win...and I hope all of his juggling balls don't drop down on his head. :)
Posted by: gerry at September 9, 2008 05:39 PM
OMG, seeing those 3 on top of those airplanes...with that Old Fart! D/M should be ashamed of themselves to call that "competition!"
Posted by: Dee at September 9, 2008 05:55 PM
Tavia,
I'm well aware you were just, "giving me a hard time.." and I do indeed relish a good jab (which probably explains why I took the time to respond to it).
However I do object to the suggestion that I was, "making an attempt at being funny or clever."
I was not attempting, I was succeeding. (As always) :)
If it "creeped" you out, (and indeed I gathered that from your initial response) you have my apologies. Moreover, as I tried to point out subsequently, that was not my intention.
The analogy required a comparison to sheets in the wind, and as they are a requirement for red-neck buffoonery, the Klan reference just fit. Simple as that...
I admit to having a dark sense of humour, (and as most know all too well) I take great pleasure in demeaning stupidity (id est, Nazis and alike). For that I make no apologies nor do I expect you would be the type to demand them.
Now on a lighter note, so far as "busting my balls" ? I think we'd all agree you'll need a slightly bigger hammer; perhaps Thor's? Nevertheless, I commend your effort.
;)

Dan won. It took less than an hour. Memphis must have thrown that to Dan, how pathetic after all the money BB spent on building that comp.
-------------
Yeah, Dan and Memphis were just whispering and grinning to each other. Fake fight, Fake comp...but "FAKE" is what we've come to expect now in the final HOH comps, no suspense. BB needs to do something with the Final HOH comps to prevent being able to throw them, like individual performance without being able to tell how the other HG's are doing.
------------
I turned off my feeds after the comp was over and I saw D/M joking with each other. There's nothing left to watch on the feeds, no suspense, I can't stand watching Jerry any more. And the guys will be all cocky with each other....whoopee. I'll watch Thursday's CBS show, maybe check in on Showtime if I'm bored. I hope Dan wins BB10. But I'm not in the mood to see any Renegades bullshit.

As I awoke, my heart started to race and my mind started to panic!, "where's my iPhone", I yelled as loud as a soft summers breeze. After sleeping for 17 hours I needed a BB instantly!, well that and my vicodin and Xanax, rember to stir, not mix. I hollered again to my home nurse to please please please find my iPhone till I get cable and Internet back. She said she'll "keep an eye out for it", I said "please don't take your eye out, that's disgusting", she said, "so is your bed pan sweety!" So few minutes go by and she comes in and I immediately say, "iPhone, where's my iPhone!", "haven't seen it", was her reply, " ugghhh!" was mine. "anyway, time for sheets sweet pumpkin pie!", more like an old sour apple pie", was my reply. She then very, and I mean very carefully rolled me to my left side and started to remove the sheets, "lord almighty in our heaven above, whats this!", "is it my iPhone!", i whispered screamed. "and my my my, its stuck right on your left tushy cheek!", trying to reach for it was a mistake as the pain was something this man has never felt before! As she slapped, ever so genlty, my hand away and handed me my iPhone, I started to cry and she hushed me and said, "here ya go love", toy amazement it was still on this site and all I had to do was start reading!!! I said, " thank you for all your help, your an angel!", she said, and at this I laughed even though the doc said no emotions, "you butt babe, I'll call your ass tomorrow!"
You all mean so very much to me, I panic at the thought of not reading your blogs everyday! As I lay here and heal and my life is falling apart around me, there is a light at the end of journey, and I for one am going to the light. Thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers and wonderful, creative ways of letting me know I'm not alone in this time of pain and emotional distress and I can find laughter in tears. I wish each and every one of you my very very best. I hope this post finds you all in good spirits and remember this, "Life is a banquet, and some poor suckers are starving to death", -Rosland Russel as Mame Dennis from the truly incredible movie, "Aunty Mame"
All my love, Grog~
From HD - Get better soon Grog! We all miss you around here very much. :)
