Almost The End
I have to say that I really enjoyed Big Brother 10. They were all strangers to each other and there was no hidden twist (I don't count the week-long America's Player task). There were great competitions -- especially endurance ones. There was none of the outrageousness that was BB9. There was none of the meanness that was BB8. It was just a fun season.
Many of the original fan favorites were voted out early in the game forcing those of us who were watching to declare a new favorite. But it didn't seem to dampen any of our excitement for the season overall. Big Brother 10 was a scheming and backstabbing season reminiscent of BB3 and BB4. There were just enough fights and drama to keep us going but just as many fun times.
No matter who wins, Big Brother 10 will end up being my second favorite season behind BB2 (of course).
Who would you like to see win tonight and why? Did you have any favorite parts of the season? What were they? Is there anything different you'd like to see in Big Brother 11 (perhaps starting in February)? Let me know my friends.

For once, in years; I don't care who wins. Either one of them can win and I'll be happy. I'm just thrilled that FINALLY I've been happy with the F2.
My favorite, off the top of my head was the fighting on Keesha's birthday. That was an awesome night for the feeds. Made the cost worth it. Poor Keesha. So freakin' phony too, to go and sing HB to someone. (just like those stupid office ones; why am I gonna go sing HB to someone I don't like?)
My 2nd favorte was when they all dressed in costumes and did the late night tv show. Hilarious!
As usual, you've done an AWESOME job this season HD. I am forever grateful for all that you do on this site (thanks to you too, Coleen for filling in).
I'm anxious for BB11. Hope CBS goes with the same format - all strangers!!!

I think Dan is going to win. While a good player, Memphis doesn't have the charisma to woo the feeble minded jury members (some of them are actually intelligent though) and those will vote with their brains and not their hearts.
I also think Keesha or Renny will win the special prize. I can't imagine any of the others winning it unless it were a "Who has Lost Their Dignity" or "Who Needs Anger Management Most" or "Incorrect Use of the English Language" prize.

I'm so thankful to God you and your family are okay!! Just watching the news explain how horrible Ike was and still is...its a reminder that we are so small in this world and can be exterminated quickly without a seconds notice. Just so you know, I do appreciate you and your loyal-ness to BB. Thank You. Now... I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED TO SEE TONIGHTS SHOW!! But at the same time I dont want to see it end! I will be happy no matter who wins tonight. I am loving that my favorite two made it to the end! I cant wait to see all of their faces when they find out DAN WAS AMERICAS FAVE!! Love it and love you, Hamster Dame!! I will see you in February when BB11 starts! ;)

I would love to see Dan win, just because I think he played a better game then Memphis. Dan deserves it.
I can't wait to see BB11, I am going to miss this show.
I'm quit curious to see what will happen with Ollie and April..will it last??
Also...I wonder if its true that Dan has a thing for Keesha??? I wonder!!!!

Dan is the man. I just liked his gameplay more. I can't ever remember thinking about Memphis' gameplay.
Favorite part was the fights and watching Dan's game. I bet if you watched the early episodes you'd see him throwing the comps.
It was nice to have Renny and dare I say Jerry just for something different. I liked Michelle too, she just took it too personal. Like most I hated April and Ollie. It would have been interesting to see them play the game instead of with each other.
Thanks for another great season HD!
Posted by: paminmn at September 16, 2008 05:51 AM
Totaly agree HD - this season is way up towards the top for all the reasons you listed. Plus Dan and Memphis are still working to keep us entertained. And I like both of them and their game play. Doesn't get much better than that.
Still want Dan to take the big prize and Flipper to with AM Favorite. That would make this one pretty close to perfect.
Next season (and sooner rather than later) -- Would like the age ranges again, but this time if they include an older guy, let him be half-way nice - horrible choice for this year, nasty old geezer with filthy habits and boring to boot. I know several older gentlemen that would represent that generation very well.
Well, gotta head off to work. ...I can't believe we are almost at the end of the season. Catch ya all later.
Posted by: Sleepyeye10 at September 16, 2008 06:01 AM
I completely agree with your positive assessment of BB10 HD - it was wonderful! For the first time in a while, I am actually sad to see the season end. In many seasons in the past, by this time I have just been sick of whatever 2 idiots were left in the house and ready for the winner to be declared and then move on, hopeful for a better season to come. This season really delivered! The final 2 are fun to watch, and they actually played good games, each in their own individual way. The dynamic in the house created by the diverse group of individuals in the cast made the psychological & sociological experiment that is the Big Brother game work in the authentic original way it was intended. It didn't need a bunch of gimmicky twists and nonsense to be entertaining b/c the HGs were interesting and diverse enough to carry the show themselves.
As for who I'd like to see win tonight, I think Dan deserves it the most on game play merits. Plus I just adore him! But I could see the jury's rationale in choosing either one of them, though I think their emotions are going to play a big part too. I don't get this whole separating them thing at all, very strange. What, they put them all in separate hotels and don't let them leave?? I mean it's just weird.
My absolute favorite moment in the entire show, that absolutely had me laughing out loud, to the point where I woke up my 2-month old who was sleeping nearby, was actually on the Sunday night show when they showed Dan doing the impression of Renny in the kitchen. I have never seen anything so funny in my life!! :o)
Thanks for a great season of blogging HD!
And GO DAN!!!!!!
Posted by: lisa at September 16, 2008 06:05 AM
yes, HD, this was a really good season. lots of drama! even now the boys are doing their best to entertain, unlike last season...yuck!
i would love to see memphis win, but i'm okay either way. i do firmly believe neither boy would be there as final 2 without the help of the other. i worried the entire time they had their "renegades alliance" going that one would back stab the other (even dan said in the show the other night he WILL throw memphis under the bus to win... to jury?) but in the end they both came through for each other. best of luck to both!!
i would love to see renny win the 25G's tonight. i do feel she deserves it the most...don't hurt me keesha fans! :) renny entertained me thoroughly this season and went out like a champ in the end. to me, selecting a winner for the 25G's has always been who entertained me. not sure why. the final 2 are the ones who "worked the hardest to get there." i hate the fact that many, many folks are voting for keesha to win simply to tick off april. april is delusional and will never see herself for what she is...a truly pathetic excuse for a human.
all the fighting was a fav. does that sound strange? lmao.
i hated watching and listening to the "romance" between april and ollie unlike last season when i enjoyed james and chelsea. not sure what the difference is but i think hating april with a passion was a big reason. ollie is just a homophobe and a fake christian (in my opinion, of course).
i enjoyed the show on sunday and so i'll just say that all those clips were favs so i am glad they replayed them....except for the fake edit of april and ollie. eeshh!
the fight with memphis and jerry was my all time favorite fight scene. not sure why but i get very moved over how passionate memphis was over the use of the word "womanizer" and how angry he was...personally, i wish memphis would have punched jerry but then he wouldn't be sitting where he is.... payback jerry, is a bitch!!
i think with a few months of rest i would love to see a winter bb!...feb works for me! today, not so much. i am ready for my life back...and so is my family.
Posted by: callie44 at September 16, 2008 06:31 AM
BB2, BB10, BB3, BB6, my favorites in a nutshell! I loved almost every moment of this season, except seeing Brian, Stephen and Angie walk out the door one by one! But as you said, you just picked a new favorite or two, and low and behold, there they are, the F2!
What a fun season! Too many good moments to recall them all. I do have to think that Ollie making that stupid deal with Dan was one of the better moments and changed the game at that point on out! I personally loved veto roulette!
Have to disagree however about the meanness though. There was plenty of that via Jerry, April and Michelle. Three people that just sat and made up shit for pure sadistic purposes, especially Jerry. Certainly not any kind of gameplay. And certainly did nothing for their game. And to hear that old perv now, he acts like he made it to F3 by gameplay. He made it to F3 for no other reason than he was used from the get go! But who better to happen to and who deserved it more than that nasty old man!
I want Dan to win the game, but I do think Memphis played a great game too. Too bad the difference between 1st and 2nd is so vast. It really should be a lot closer in dollars and cents. 2nd should be $250k!
I think Dan is right up there with the great Dr. Will. Because of his lack of charisma, I don't think Dan can top Will though. But he proved his worth in ever other aspect.
I'm hoping that Keesha wins America's choice. She was entertaining, and loyal to a point, but I don't think she played anywhere near as well as the Renegades! I have a couple of reasons, and not good ones, for wanting her to win AC. #1, loyalty to Dan and Memphis. #2, to stick it to April. There, I said it! Not proud of it, but truth!
I am hoping that CBS/BB gets wind of what a great season this was compared to past ones, and hope that they continue with a cast and curriculum such as this season. The cast and stupid twists of BB8 & BB9 were terrible! I truly believed BB8 was the beginning of the end, putting the likes of ED in there and then when porn hit on BB9 I was just appalled! Except for a couple of decent players in both seasons, they could be taken out of the history books for all I care! If this season means nothing else, I walk away from it with at least ED finally knowing, your 15 minutes are up, you ass! Now go away and don't darken the doors any farther!
Of course, the best place to enjoy and share all this has been SH. The likes of Drats, Gregor, Grog, Sleeyeye10, Dixie, ColeenwithoneL, Tavia, Betty, xtex88, ClayPo, CanFan, Gray, footballmom, and our own HD, are a pure pleasure to wake up to, talk to, argue with and applaud! No BB would be the same without ya'all.
Here's looking forward to the next and many more seasons of BB with everyone! May they all be as good as this one!

My favorite parts this season
1. the Sock puppet show- I still crack up when I see that.
2. Jessies Eviction
3. Aprils Eviction
4. Ollie actually beleive the "deal with Dan"- lesson learned "if it sounds too good to be true..."
5. Michelle on the block after "roulette"- I was dancing around my livingroom ( I know, I need a life)
6. Boogies sweaty pits....ewwww
7. Keeshas Birthday!
==============
How I want to win: DAN
==============
What I would like to see in BB11- A Winter edition- so I dont have to wait so long. Diversity-age-sex-gender and a woman to finally win!
==============
And lastly: Id love to see a Big Brother 2nd chances addition. Select favorites from each season who DID NOT MAKE IT to the JURY. Give them a second Chance. As long as Brian and Angie are chosen from this season, Alex and Amanda from 9, Joe from 8...
What will I do next week with NO SILLY HAMSTERS?? I guess I will actually have to work :( that sux
Posted by: bbug at September 16, 2008 06:39 AM
First of all, I would like to see Dan win tonight and the reason is also one of my favoriate parts of the season. After week 1, Dan was down and out because of his alliance with Brian. He had to think on his feet and come up with a new strategy and he did it so well and over and over again during the season, adjusting when he needed to, that he deserves to win. It was also a pleasure to watch.
The casting was great this season. I'm really glad they went back to having strangers in the house. They had a good mix of those who were fans and students of the game and those who were not. The fact that they had no real "youngsters" was a bonus for me. And I am also glad they had no "Evel Dick". I think Jerry tried to be, but Jerry was no ED and I mean that in the nicest sense. I liked that Dan and Renny, both of whom I was fully prepared to dislike, turned out to be two of my favorites. April and Ollie doing the horizontal mambo turned out not to be a big part of the show and that was great, too. I don't watch Big Brother for the porn factor. I thought from the beginning that if they didn't get Memphis out early on that he would be there at the end, and there he is. I was surprised that Keesha made it as far as she did. I was sorry to see Angie go so early, but she really didn't exhibit the gameplay I was expecting so it was inevitable. Libra played her part as the ABW, but not so long that she got on my nerves.
Overall, I think this season rejuvenated the BB franchise and I'll certainly be back next season.

Good morning Miss Hamster Dame...I trust you are in great spirits this glorious day. Isn't it always a lovely day, no matter what our problems, when we have the opportunity to wake up yet again? Enough of philosophy, are you going to be live blogging tonite? I'm on pins and needles and hoping for a sweep for my favorite hamsters.
Posted a reply on your last comments page to SuzieQ, Tavia, Dixie"Cup", Gregor, and Drats. Go back and read it guys.
See ya, Betty

a belated welcome back HD!
i cant believe the season is over tonight :( but i am rooting for dan to win. he really was the master of the game. i so appreciate that after being tortured for the past few seasons. i hope the jury sees it that way?
i have no suggestions for the next round of BB11 but i am looking forward to reading what the others think on this site! you guys are always so creative.
thanks again HD!

I am happy with either Dan or Memphs winning. I have liked them both the entire season. I will say that Dan has been the most entertaining hamster since Dr. Will in my oppinion. Although not quite as full of himself, but almost. I just truly like Memphis, but a little boring in comparision. Game play truly goes to Dan, however, both did an incredible job of keeping their cool, most of the time. As far as the favorite juror, I don't really care who gets the money as long as it isn't April, Ollie or Michelle.

Good Morning HD & guests...
I agree with you that BB10 has been the best season since BB2... Renny was my fave in the beginning... but Ftr. Dan worked his way into my heart at about week 1 1/2. (I seem to always pick a pseudo underdog).
I loved Dan's antics all season, but I have to say that his conversation with Renny-Roo on the patio sofa regarding time zones was one of the most hysterical moments of reality tv ever.
I also enjoyed some of the very real relationships that developed over the season... Renny/Keesha Renny/Dan Dan/Keesha Memphis/Dan (see some commonality there?) I think if we'd been able to keep Brian/Steven/Angie around a little longer, we'd have seen more from those guys as well... but alas, we fans do not get to evict any longer (shades of BB1).
I've been a Dan fan all season long, and I really hope he wins the big prize. I enjoyed his game - from having to try to "disappear" after week 1, to having to play hard and get himself (and memphis) off the block. He was funny and fun to watch.
I don't remember a season that, even at the end, I disliked a player so much as I dislike April. She has to be the most hate-filled person ever in a reality show; and talk about self-absorbed! Holy Cow! give it a rest already!
Which brings me to why I hope Keesha becomes the latest America's Choice winner. She had great game play, although let her emotions get the best of her (keeping Dan and/or Memphis when she could have gotten rid of one or both). So, game play 1, but pissing off the evil April... definately one of my main factors for voting Keesh every chance I get... which reminds me... I think I'll go do now!
I so enjoy this blog. There are so many talented word spinners here, it's a kick to read daily, even if I never posted a word... so thanks HD for the hard work and enjoyable posts... and for always-always telling it like it is... now.. business calls...
Unlike young DRATS... this old broad is still working for a living..

I agree.
Season 10 was pretty good.
Good gameplay and stategy.
That was missing in BB9.
Looking forward to BB11.
Great blog!
Thanks!

I'm for Dan all the way. I really hope that Keesha gets the fan favorite, she had me cracking up this season. I've got my fingers crossed for another winter BB. I totally agree that last season was a bit much, maybe the producers did too, that's why they cut all the crap this season. Can't wait for the show tonight!
Posted by: leonard43002 at September 16, 2008 07:59 AM
DAN all the way. KEESHA for AF.
My favorite part ,excluding HD's posts and and the ones from all (some more than others) you other BB maniacs, was DAN pulling the wool over Ollie's (he deserves no caps) eyes and evicting Michelle (neither does she). Loved the ensuing drama even more than the bitchin' Barbies going at it!!
My hope for BB11 is that the hamsters are even half as entertaining as these and that it does return in Feb..need something to scream at after NFL season!!

First, HD thanks for all your hard work keeping us addicts supplied with our drug of choice. You rock lass. I would like to see Dan win. He in my opinion has played the game all season. Especially after almost getting voted out in the first 2 weeks. Again, thanks for the live blogs as this is how I have kept up when working. Working the evening shift kinda craps the TV watching.
Posted by: angusmacinnes at September 16, 2008 08:15 AM
i cant wait for tonight!! this is the first time that the final 2 are people that i actually want to winn! i reallly am rooting for dan though, i think he played a great game. i hope the jury votes on gameplay, which will still be tough call considering they havent seen anything.
ps. i hate april ughhhh she just seems so bitter about the whole thing, i would be too but shes just too much
Posted by: laurennn at September 16, 2008 08:27 AM
Great season! I hope Dan wins. I love his wit and wisdom. He's a little firecracker. I'll bet he's a terrific teacher too. He has a ton of drive and energy along with a great sense of humor. I think Memphis played this game pretty much like he plays life. He just goes along and just let's life happen. He doesn't seem (to me) to plan or strategize too much. I think Dan played a much better game than Memphis.
Renny is my fav. I love her. I live in Chicago and am planning a trip to New Orleans just to get my hair cut by her. Oh, does this sound a little like stalking? Don't mean it to.
Glad to hear you are okay H.D. Thoughts and prayers were with you. Thank you for another season of commitment by you and I appreciated all the input from my fellow addicts. Thanks too for the feeds. I love having them and you will be proud to know that two new family members of mine have been transformed into new little BB addicts.
Can't wait for tonight!
Posted by: Piehead at September 16, 2008 08:40 AM
Renny!!! RENNY!!!!! Oh, wait... sorry, she isn't one of the finalists is she? Ok... Dan can win it. I think these two personalities kept the others in the house entertained, nicer than they would have been without them, an because of this... Go Dan!!! I know you will spend the money wisely.

HD, I have been reading you blogs for at least 3 years now and have never commented, but I feel the need to do so today.
I personally want Ted the Spider to win BB10 and here is why--He stayed out of the limelight for the first few weeks. Then he gained his attention by constructing a great web which made the Hamsters want to give him rewards of food. He took advantage of their generosity and lived the life of a king, growing constantly in the game. Wouldn't you call this great gameplay?
But, alas, if he cannot win, I hope they bring him back for next season to see if he can fare as well against a different group of guinea pigs (hamsters).
Gooooooooo Teddddddddddd!
Posted by: luvtaplay at September 16, 2008 09:10 AM
with fear of getting slapped here. How about MORE twists for BB11? Lots of them but no bringing people in the house. And make the twist more of suprising the viewers and the HG
Posted by: Shawn at September 16, 2008 09:26 AM
DAN for sure! This guy controled the game and no one knew or even had a clue. He deserves to get the whole prize. I am just afraid too many jurors will vote for Memphis, when in fact, the best player was Dan. What they need to do is pick the person who played it the best.
Posted by: goney at September 16, 2008 09:35 AM
I really hope Dan wins tonight, he really played the game and I feel that Memphis just got lucky with picking the right alliance.
I agree HD, this was a great season, one of the bests!

I have loved this season! Loved the fights, phoniness magnified 100 x, and friendships. I've been so sad missing the last few days even knowing what is going on. Came to work with my husband today it get online for a little while. I'm crossing my fingers (wishing, hoping and praying) that we can get gas for the generator we were able to buy this morning so I can actually watch the finale tonight. I hope I'm able to get back online again soon to read all the exit interviews and hear if April, Ollie, and Jerry hear how horrible many people feel they were. Maybe I can locate them all on youtube whenever i have internet again. Going without power for the last 3 to 4 days has made me feel for the houseguests and the insanity that comes with silence. Not being able to watch TV, listen to radio, get online, use my phone (house or cell phone most of the time) or go where I want when I want made me think of how they must feel. There have been times I thought I would loose it and it's only been maybe 4 day (may have 3 more weeks, but...). I could never be stuck there for 3 months like that - just could not survive! Can't wait to find out the aftermath of the announcement. I so hope Dan wins (although I like them both and wont be sad). I think Dan has played a harder game. Memphis was able to coast and let others do his dirty work way too much (which is still effective game play), but hoping Dan pulls it out. Would love Keesha (since she played pretty good and helped Dan/Memphis get to this point and to spite April) or even Renny to win America's Choice. I just don't want the TV audience to vote for Jerry based on his edit. Hoping to watch with everyone tonight. Thanks for the updates!!!!

DAN the MAN all the way to the 500K. Dolphin girl for for the 25K. I wonder what the hamsters will think of Dan winning the 20K as America's Player? And I wonder if Steven & Brian are right about Memphis's classic car being crap and needing lots of repairs. I hope BB11 has older peeps too but in a more balanced range. Some 20's a few 30's a couple of 40's , 50's and maybe some 60's but please God no 70's plus. To much of a generation gap for me and I'm 54 {I hate to admit that ..{heehee}. Also wish they would show more Jury house clips like Survivor does with the booted castaways. Do I sound like Gillian? But hey I guess we can't have everything. And last but not lease thank you loads HD again for another wonder season of laughs, you never fail to make me laugh. Looking forward to another fun time in February.
Posted by: PattinNY at September 16, 2008 09:53 AM
Well, I got a few minutes at my new job to check in. Being on the West Coast, I have to fight the urge to check in early to see who won.
If the jury bases their vote on game play alone, Dan wins. But we all know Miss Bitter (April) and her sister (Michelle) will vote staight on emotion.
April's comment back in Week 4 is now coming true. "If we don't get Memphis out now, we will all be sitting in the Jury house and Memphis will be in the Final 2" (or something close to that). Her distain for Memphis could throw her vote to Dan.
For once in a long time, I can see either one winning. And I'm glad about it.
As for this season, I think it was very good. About time they didn't try to "gimmick it up" and just let the game play out. Future seasons should follow the same path.
It is funny though that the turning point in the game was Jessie's eviction, which in part was the product of America's Player.
Every season has one. Last season it was Matt's eviction, the season before that was Jessica's failure to backdoor Danielle.
HD, I hope you will check back in through the "off season" to update us on any aftermath of the season. My wish is you can interview some of the hampsters (or post any interview) after they have viewed the season and DR sessions to see their reactions. Also, any updates on past hampsters would be good therapy to keep us addicted fans from total withdrawal. Is there any talk about bringing it back in February again? One can hope.
To all the regulars (DRATS, Coleen with 1 "L", Gregor, Diff, Callie 44, Sleepyeye 10, Wheel Chair Mama, and the countless others), have a great off season and keep in shape for next season. I can't wait to hear from you at the start of next season.
HD, I have said before and will say again, THANKS for another great season. I have been with you since BB8. I wish I found your site earlier. Your posts are always spot-on. Allowing us viewers a chance to vent and be heard is wonderful.

I fear that BB11 won't be until next summer, as they were running a blurb on BBAD last night that they would see us again next summer. :(
This has definitely been one of my favorite seasons as well.
Angie and Steven were earlier favorites but I did indeed learn to survive without them. Dan and Keesha are definitely both on my top 5 most endearing list.
And speaking of lists... Gosh Diff, I've never had my feelings hurt on here before. Was it something I said? I always made your special people lists before but looks like I've been canned. :( :)

Luvtaplay - Love the post. Maybe they should put his picture in the 14th slot.
Were you watching BBAD last night? They fed him 2 moths. And now there is Debbie, his spider girl friend. Wonder how they will fare after the game.
Too funny!!!

WHAT A GREAT SEASON! I loved that there were those to love and those to banish (nicer word than hate). Although I thought I would hate it when Brian, Angie, and especially Steven were kicked out. (I like bbug idea of bringing early-outers back for a show). Only had feeds for 1, 8, 9, and this season and only foung HD on 8...so my memory of 2 through 7 is not so good. I know I thought 9 was awful...can't think of any redeeming moments.
What I loved about this season was... these people knew how to entertain themselves! What a great mixture of people. If you were into porn, you had April and Ollie. If you wanted education...there was Dan, teaching swimming, time-zone, and enunciating lessons. Cooking/mixology demonstrations from Renny and Memphis. How to apply makeup and cut hair from Renny also. Michelle, Keesha, Libra and April brought anger to a new entertaing level. Jerry brought to our attention proper bathroom etiquette ( or rather, the other houseguests and the cameras did). Loved the humor of Dan, Renny, Brian and Steven. Thought Jerry brought cattiness to the highest level.
Want my "super-hero" Dan to win...what a deserving win that would be. Who would have known at the beginning after his interview that he would turn out to be such a bright, charismatic, well-rounded individual. Keesha the "kind" one should win the fan money. Anyone that was able to stay that nice to Jerry has earned their $.
Next BB...no AP...only strangers...minimum, if any, twists...diversity in all areas...and another cast that can entertain both themselves and us. Want people to cheer on and those to boo and hiss at.
Absolutly love this place and so enjoy reading what everyone has to say...feel like I'm beginning to know you all. Hope to see (or rather, read) you this winter.
Thanks again HD for doing this. You have made so many of us have a better day...or night.

Morning HD,
I see you were up burning the midnight oil. Hope you managed more sleep than I did.
(The DRATS-ter's standard prescribed three to four hours of sleep was interrupted by a Toyota MR2 attempting to mate with a street lamp in front of my home.)
Once more, self-control got the better of me, and I managed to refrain from strangling the little sodden twit while waiting for the ambulance.
So then, to my daily assignments...
Who would I like to see win tonight and why?
Well, (albeit this'll probably incite further disdain from my good friend Gregor) I'm standing by my assertion that Dan is far more deserving than the lamprey who's ridden to the final two attached to his backside. No, I'm not saying Memphis didn't play the game, (clearly one cannot discount the strategy of underachievement and intelligent alliance). However, I've yet to be presented a substantial argument that would persuade me that it could conceivably outweigh the accomplishments in game-play and competitions Dan achieved this season.
Did I have any favorite parts of the season? What were they?

Is there anything different you'd like to see in Big Brother 11 (perhaps starting in February)?
I'll probably be crucified for this, but I think it's time for Big Brother All-stars II. The possibility of seeing Evel Dick's black-nail-polished claws clutching April's still-beating heart?

Great season of BB. After the debacle of BB9 this was so much better, many of my friends gave up BB during season 9. I'm rooting for Dan but for once I would be happy with either one of them to win. They both played a good game, but a different game.
I hated seeing Brian go the first week, would have loved to watch his game play.
Loved loved the sock puppet play, funniest thing ever on BB. The April sock puppet, hysterical.
I too don't think I've disliked another BB player as much as I did April. I want Keesha to win AC just to see April's big forehand wrinkle up in a frown. Ha ha!
Great job again HD, I found you several years ago and yours is the first page I check every morning!
Coleen, good job in filling in as well.
Can't wait for BB11. Can't wait for tonights show!

Forgot another favorite and that was the sock puppet night. I even saved that one and the talk show to watch later if I need a laugh.
Betty, I think our first tv was around '50 or so....my dad told my mom that it was "sort of on loan" and would go back to the store after the World Series, which he used as the excuse to get it..of course it never went back to the store. Just ordered Sick Puppy and after reading the reviews it appears to be my kind of book... or course I haven't met many books I didn't like!
Gregor, can't wait for the roast!

BenF,
Forgive me dear BenF. It was early when I made that post and of course, you are always on the top on my list. Coffee wasn't in yet!
However, pay particular attention in Gregors roast, my dear, you were one of the first in my thoughts, and more than once, as you will see.
Love ya,

luvtaplay,
Great post and sorry you haven't posted before today. Your humor is right up there with MANY here!

Will is more sexy and hollywood...but Dan has more game that the common man/woman can relate to. Since Will lives in L.A., he will retain his easy podium to the TV world, and after all, he was the "first best" and will be remembered in BB history forever. But many of us will remember Dan as the most clever player ever...especially if he wins. Keeping my fingers crossed on that.
I agree that BB10 outclasses BB8 & BB9 with good clean fun (clean compaired to the others). If by quirk of fate A/O had made it to F2, I would have felt completely different because the feeds would have been nothing but them screwing around. But A/O really weren't game smart enough to win, because they ignored the game and forgot to play it, so BB10 turned out the way it was supposed to.
The BB10 cast was older, and I would like the casts to keep being chosen by the same criteria. It was a more intellectual game because of the people chosen. They were not primarily drama queens, and they actually had a few scruples about what they did on camera (other than A/O, the exception to everything I liked about BB10).
Really, the tone of the season was set by Dan once he got into L/K/R alliance. The tone was solidified once Dan formed the Fab 4. All these HG's had significant others they respected and would not mess around on, so they played the game with their heads and their personalities, not their libido's...how refreshing!
Overall, this cast had values that formed BB10, bravo to the casting director. Please continue picking casts more like BB10, or better, because BB8 & 9 casts were pretty darned hard to watch. Please don't regress back to those kinds of casts. I don't remember the exact seasons of the casts I liked more, but I liked HG's such as Janelle, Kaysar, Howie, Nakomas and the like. The BB10 cast was less gullible...I swear the BB8 cast was dumb as rocks to allow Dick and Danielle to waltz into F2. You gotta break up those pairs, people!
Posted by: Dee at September 16, 2008 10:45 AM
I loved the season also...I loved watching Dan make fools out of everyone and when he did something wrong act like a sick puppy until they forgave him...poor confused catholic...LOL
I think one of the funniest moments was the Jerry falling in the pool and ALL of Renny's impressions were hysterical. Even after Dan's AP week was over, it was beyond amazing to watch him run the house and the hg's not even realize it.
The one thing I do hate is the posse' type of voting that began in season 9. I like it better when the voting is secret and not when the HOH tells the house who to vote out...(the HOH's enemy). I hate it that everybody is afraid to vote their own mind set. I am hoping that this stops and goes back to the way it was. Mob voting is boring to me...no surprises...whereas when you don't know how it will come out...that is cool.
I am going into post BB mode also...and I hope the winter season is going to be very good...I liked that the cast is not all 20 somethings and more mixed.
I was thinking of a really crazy twist: The Jury Members won't be the last SEVEN evicted...but the FIRST and nobody in the house would know it until the final Q & A...that would throw the HELL out of the game and the final 2. LMAO.
What do you think?
I Can't wait for tonight and HD I am so happy you will not be missing it. Peace. ;-)

Dan the Man-one the best players in BB History deserves to win. Gives Dr Will a run for his money.
Fave Moment- POV Roulette played by Dan with Michelle and Ollie gone in the same night.
BB 11- Consequences for temper tantrums aka Ollie and His Lollipop Tirade or Michelle and her foul language in the Diary room.
Posted by: deedlestexan at September 16, 2008 10:48 AM
I love this season - there were great HGs who were funny, lively, and had great drama - there were no nasty people (ED from BB8) or boring people (BB4). The contest were good ones and not badly desguised repeats from prior seasons.
I hope Dan wins - I think that he has played the game the best - he was in constant game play - gave Dr. Will a run for his money as the puppet master. Hopefully the jury remembers to vote how they played the game. Like Memphis but you should not be able to win because float along - he really did not "play" the game.
Would love to see a game where things are new - they have new games, new twists and turns and keep the HGs on their toes at all times. We need the excitement back in the game - we need to want to stay home and watch tv. Wish CBS had a site where we could send ideas and they would actually read them. Need to think of some cool things.
Thanks for a great season HD.

Colleen with 2 L's - from a post a few days ago... we were discussing our likes and dislikes on HouseCalls... I have to say that I'm back on the Daniele bandwagon after she wore her "TEAM DAN" tee shirt on yesterday's show... So Dani & ED in for me, but would still like to see some new blood in there for Sheila and (gosh I love him) Bunky... how about Keesha and Steven for a season on HC's?
Looking forward to tonight's show - but will miss getting my daily readings from DRATS, Benf, both Col(l)eens, Betty, Sleepyeye, Wheelchair Mama, Gray, Gregor... of course HD... and so many others... I'm sure I've left out a favorite or 2... and of course sweet little kitten Kimberly. Hope to see all of you back here next season... But we still have the roast don't we... almost forgot!

Hamsterlings,
What the hell?
What's with everybody packing their schmootz and heading for the hills? (Did I miss a PSA about giant meteor or something?)
Look, the party's not over with folks. For cripes' sake; the flippen show's not even over with yet.
Besides, I know for a fact Gregor was up to the wee hours busting his backside to produce the Hammy Roast that starts tomorrow. That's a hella've alot'a trouble to put a fella through if
there'll not be anyone coming back to read the bloody thing.
Don't be an Ollie. It just isn't proper to get right up and head to the bathroom for a washcloth. Show some freak'n class and at least kiss the wench, before ya put your shoes back on and head for the door.
So put your stuff back in the drawer and meet me in the HOH. We're not being evicted just yet.

Happy Holidays, that will be here soon, to HD and all the BB addicts! I don't care who wins between Dan and Memphis, I just hope and pray Keesha gets the 25K. Been especially fun this year thanks in part to HD's blog and the wonderful folks that joined in. Take care all and see you next summer or maybe this Feb. Love to all.
Posted by: xtex88 at September 16, 2008 11:07 AM
BenF- It depends on if the actors strike or not; I'm thinking it will be next summer because they don't want another strike like last season and they'll make a deal.
As it stands, I think Dan wins 4-3 or 5-2, with April and Michelle being the deciding votes (pay attention as to the order they get called up to case their votes- If Michelle is LAST, it's likely 4-3, and she's the deciding vote to hype the "did Dan convince her" angle. If she's not, it's probably 5-2 or worse.) I'd be happy either way- both got to the final two by different strategies. Dan won comps when he needed to, but Memphis has more blood on his hands publically (Dan was more subtle putting the knife in the backs of his opponents as he was hugging them in consolation)
And one thing they can do for next year that would be interesting- if they must have a recap episode between the final HOH comp and the finale, don't do it from the F2's perspective- do it from BB's perspective (just have a shot of the DR camera and have an off-screen voice narrate, and hype it as "The one person who truly has seen it all tells all"...)

HD, Are you going to be livebloging the finale?
Im on the westcoast and dont like to watch the eastcost feed.
Mr Maru prefers I watch with him at the regular time. But I LOVE reading your liveblog, that way I get to know what happens but still get to enjoy seeing it with him.
So I hope you are!
Either way...Thanks for everything!

Hi HD, This is my first season reading your blog and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. It makes watching the show so much more fun when you can also know what is going on behind the scenes. I am hoping for Dan tonight as I think he played the best game and voted Renny for the 25K as I thought she was the most entertaining.
Would you be able to let me know where I can go to find out news on the house guests after the show is over? I would love to know if anything exciting happens for them, if April and Ollie are still together, etc......
Thanks again HD.

I agree--seasons 2, 3, 6, and 10 are the best. 4 was really good too. Watching 9 turned my stomach, and I watched 8 desperately to see somebody take down the Donatos. This season had the best first week ever, by far. This season was odd in the fact that the first half held all the suspense, and the second was so predictable. Usually it's the other way around for me. Really how exciting was the finale, with 2 people throwing comps to each other, and competing against an old man? And most of the later comps at least one or two weren't trying, one was a 75 year old man, and one was a 54 year old woman.
Memphis did save the Renegades a few times. One by using the veto on Dan. How could anyone (Keesha) not see their alliance after that. Two, by making the alliance with Jerry, so they both weren't on the block.
Anbody else think Dan should lose the AP $, since one key element is to remain undiscovered? I really hate this twist, anyway. Still say Dan should win overall.

DRATS,
I'm not packing it in. As I stated, I will be returning to the site periodically to check for any updates, goings-on, the usual post of the wrap party, etc. Can't live without at least some update.
I am looking forward to the Hammy Roast. Will it be posted here? If not, can you supply the link?
Posted by: Jeff G at September 16, 2008 12:10 PM
I'm hoping Dan wins. He played the game. Memphis' strategy was to let others play for him. He only won PoV when he had to. Some may consider that good gameplay, but I see it as lazy gameplay. I can kind of see it both ways. But I hope Dan wins because he plyed a hard game. He had more obstacles to overcome and I think was targeted more seriously than Memphis was.
And I can't remember (nor can I look right now) who said Ollie referred to Alfred Hitchcock as Albert Hitchcock - you missed another part of his difficulty saying that name - he called him Albert Hitch-ock. Either he isn't very well spoken, or birds really frighten him so much he couldn't say the name fast enough and it came out all garbled.
Go Dan!!! And in case any Dan fans want a piece of St. Mary's Football attire - the school website has a store - I'm sure they'd appreciate the business!! I'll post a link when I can find it.

Big Brother 58
- or -
Karma is Definitely Still a Bitch
-or-
What BenF did at work on the afternoon of September 16 instead of working.
Here we are folks: The final day of Big Brother Pierced, Tatted, 'n Totally Nude 24/7 (BBPT&TN24/7).
Who will win our contest? Our 25 year old bionic-appendaged, yet surprisingly under-endowed, naked wonder, Nashville Waco Houston, the alchemologist from the Pacific coast's largest coastal city of Henderson, Nevada? Or will it be fun loving and trouble making, so-huge-it's-embarrassing, 25 year old, married Catholic polygamist priest, Keesho Gheesling from Dearborn in the province of Michigan, in the western annex of neighboring China?
Let's listen in to our 2 finalists on this the last day of their house stay before tonight's big vote:
Nashville: EFF you old man. Can you believe the nerve of that old man saying that shit to me. He's a shitbag and I hope he dies.
Keesho: Yeh, but you gotta respect his game man, he's 75 years old and he played a good game.
Nasvhille: EFF him. He called me out too many times. Asking me what an alchemologist is. And why the EFF couldn't he understand the difference between a mixologist and an alchemologist? He's a dried up old prune. EFF you Memphis Garrett. And EFF your old dried up prune scumbag wife Ashley too. I don't care if she has some prehistoric old disease that all we younger folks are genetically-designed never to get or not. And I don't care if you were on this show 50 years ago or not. You're a scumbag and nobody likes you. You only made it to the final 3 because we needed your old tired ass in here.
Keesho: Wait a minute. My grandfather liked him.
Nashville: EFF your grandfather. He's a dried up old pussy-whipped bitch.
Keesho: What? No!
Nashville: Yeh he is, he left his childhood sweetheart for that blonde chick.
Keesho: Hey, that's my grandma Keesha you're talking about.
Nashville: EFF her, she's a bitch.
Keesho: My grandma's no bitch man. I told you she went through hell. That crazy chick April stalked her for nearly 40 years. No matter where she went, April was always one step behind, saying "I"m prettier that you," "I'm prettier than you."
Nashville: Well was she?
Keesho: Hell no. Thank God for those 6 mercenaries who finally caught her though and got her committed to the mental co-ed refuse zone for the rest of her life. Yeh, the names of those three guys will forever be emblazened in my heart. Thank you Drats, Dixie, Diff, Benf, Gregor and Ms. Dame, wherever you are today. If you are still alive, bless you, bless you, bless you. The last I heard from any of them was a post card from Ms. Dixie telling me that she and Mr. Drats got married. Gosh that must have been over 10 years ago.
Nashville: Well you know what I say. EFF all of them. They're all old dried up old bitches now. And you know what else? EFF that April bitch. Man did BB have to show us that archived picture of her. I mean, man, I was like, arrgghghhh!! And eeeeeeeeee!! I mean, did you see the forehead on that girl. That shit was EFFin scary man. And how about that bald-headed Contintent of Man's Origin man.
Keesho: Oh man, that's awful.
Nashville: What the EFF man! What do you mean "awful"? Don't tell me it's not politically correct to say Continent of Man's Origin man anymore?
Keesho: No man's - that's right. Well I mean, maybe you don't have to go and point that out all the time, but, no, that's the correct phrase. But what I meant, was about the way that guy died, with those birds plucking out his aged eyes and all.
Nashville: EFF him. I don't feel sorry for him. Bald headed pussy boy. As a matter of fact I don't feel sorry for any of them that season. That kookie broad from the southern coastal desert joined the circus, and that chick Michelle became Mr. Natural World and made that Jessie her pussy boy bitch. They weren't even my favorites. I liked BB 30, the all-stars one, where that chick Jen paired up with that old guy Dick, and they EFFed every night on camera and then she got preggers and they had those twins and they named them Lil Nick and Lil Dani. Of course Jen later admitted that that gay guy Steven from BB10 was the father of her baby.
Keesho: Man that house was really filled with the drama wasn't it? My grandpa used to say those were his glory days and he wouldn't have given it up for anything in the world. He really made out well that year and so did ole boy Memphis.
Nashville: EFF them both. They weren't the ones who walked out of the house and played the lottery and won the biggest lottery prize ever of $791.62 million dollars.
Keesho: I know man. That old Jerry sure did hit it big.
Nashville: And don't forget that EFFin Libra either man, I mean she went into the history books, taking those fertility treatments because her husband wanted one more kid, and she EFFin gave birth to 32 babies.
Keesho: You sure it was 32 man?
Nashville: Eff yeh man.
Keesho: I'd heard it was 33.
Nashville: Nuh uh. One of em died.
Keesho: Ah. Tragic.
Nashville. Eff yeh man.
FEEDS GO TO FISHIES.....
From HD - LMFAO!!!!

I prefer not to have twists that make HG game play obsolete. I'd rather have it the way it was this season, than when we had to put up with James' resurrection(BB9), or the season-long AP(Eric, BB9).
Posted by: Dee at September 16, 2008 12:36 PM
HD...Just thought of something else that CBS could do for us...Make the finale 90 minutes to 2 hours...I think they try to squeeze too much into the one hour and it seems too rushed. A lot of the other Reality Shows treat their finale as very special and extend the time...CBS is not willing to cancel a show that is repeats anyway to give us a spectacular final show...I think that is something I have complained about on their site for the last 10 seasons. Let's hope more people complain and then maybe, just maybe they will do it. Here's Hoping DAN the Man wins the biggy and for me Michelle wins the AFP...peace ;-)
Posted by: gerry at September 16, 2008 12:42 PM
I meant Eric BB8...typo. I feel that the BB8 AP twist enabled D&D to become F2. Eric's game play would have evicted D&D if he hadn't been AP, I'm pretty sure of that. Therefore, BB8 was not so much about game play, but instead D&D's reunion(which makes me throw up a little in my mouth). I like to see the HG's duke it out with pure game play, that's my fave, not arbitrary twists which make the outcome of the game up to the twists, not the HG's game play. I think Eric would have gone further in the game without being AP, unless...he allowed his showmance to throw him off. Being in a showmance makes you a big target, so a serious player who wants to win wouldn't be in one, theoretically. But don't tell Will and Boogie that, they rode those poor women all the way to the win for Boog. Did I just call Janelle a "poor woman?" Because that she is not, the clever little vixen! Janelle was so likable that she became an historic BB mainstay, she didn't need to win to be popular. I'm sure her bank account could have used it however.
Posted by: Dee at September 16, 2008 12:47 PM
I would love for Dan to win, but would not be sad if Memphis wins.
Like you said, we all had our favourites..mine was Brian...I thought he would go far when I first saw him..too bad he didn't..but I can say his eviction was the catalyst for a great season!
My favourite part is a toss up between the sock puppets and variety show.
My least favourite again is a toss up between Keesha's Birthday(felt so bad for her) and Ollie's temper tantrum..
My least favourite player by far was April..and she still has such a bitchy attitude even in sequester..that is just poor sportsmanship.

"Almost The End"
Dearest DRATS... I believe it was HD's post title that drove most of us to thinking we needed to get our "things in order" as it were. As always, you are right.. and I would not miss the "Hammy Roast" for anything in the world!
In fact, I'm looking forward to reading those 25 pages you've promised about little ole me... why that alone would be worth the price of admission! Oh, but wait... admission is free isn't it... (talk about self-absorbed!).
Thanks for bringing me, and all of us, back into the light (er... dark?)! How do you do that! ;)

Here we are, the end of another BB season. I never found anyone that I really was rooting for this year -- guess I was a floater :)
Think I will be rooting for Memphis tonight.
Thanks for keeping me up to date on everything, yet again this season HD. - And thanks to Coleen for her help as well.
Here's hoping to a winter season of BB...

Drats...LMAO! I once again, for the umteeth time thought I was through here, but here I am again and I am glad. Completely forgot about the Roast coming up. I have been looking forward to it, but completely forgot about it today. Will keep checking it out until the roast. You are right I bet gregor as worked his butt off. And I guess and hope we will all be talking about tonight's show. HD, sorry I keep asking about the liveblogging. I forgot what area of the country you are in. Thanks for not yelling at me and saying you dummy I can't do a live show ha ha! See you at the roast.

Wanted to add something to my post - something this season that bugged me - Dan's pacing. I love Dan but he can't stand still - it must be all the walking on the side lines at football games - can't imagine him teaching in front of a class - you could not concentrate with his going back and forth.
Ok - GO DAN & Keesha.

Jeanne...I know what you mean. Drives me crazy. I thnk he is really nervous. Needs to chill out like Memphis has. Go Keesha!

JeffG,
Glad you're still with us mate. My understanding, (from a 90 minute-plus telephone conversation Sir Gregor earlier today with ) is that the first annual "Hammy Roast" will be presented over the course of the next few days, starting tomorrow.
Personally I can't wait. (Mmm, pork. The other white meat)
Incidentally, such an opportunity (the first time I've ever spoken with anyone from here by telephone) brings into stark reality precisely the caliber of persons who frequent Hammy's nifty little internet offering. What a complete, unadulterated... genuinely nice guy.
Wow. (note overused exclamation) Who'da thunk it?
In point of fact, I was so taken aback by it, I found myself suffering from a horrifically uncharacteristic lapse of my natural propensity for opportunism. Believe it or not, even though I had the contract all drawn up and ready, your very own DRATS-ter actually failed to make a generous offer on Gregor's immortal soul.
Damnit! Second one that's got away this week!
(Ah, well. Probably doesn't matter anyway. You can always tel when HE's gotten to'em first.)
I tell ya though, it's a bloody good thing I did that deal with Gov. Palin a couple weeks ago, or I'd be way behind on quota for the month.
Oh, that reminds me. Coleen, ever wondered what it would be like to have everything you ever wanted? ;)
------ ------ ------
Sleepyeye10, Dixie, Xtex88, SuZieQ, Dee, Diff, BenF, et al,
We do still have several days left to torment one another, however they are creeping up on us rather fast.
Of course, being a rebel by nature, (the very first, if you must know) I refuse to give up good contract oppurtun... (err, I meant good friendships) without a fight. Therefore, please feel free to take advantage of the ole "ctrl C" key-combo and save this now for later.

Just remember when emailing to include your driver's license, social security number, mother's maiden name, checking and savings accounts, and the name of your first-born if applicable, so I can send you your portion of the 12 million dollars being held in escrow at the Bank of Botswallaballobooska.
I look forward to doing business with you,

I agree with many but especially Dixie about being a Dan fan for the whole season, me too. CanFan's list was perfect and b bugs comments about Evel Dick were right on. My favorite BB is this one, BB 10. The best parts besides, what CanFan listed, were each time the one that I wanted gone walked off and the last one was Jerry. I hope Dan wins but he doesn't have good odds and Memphis thinks that he has already won. They get along well so it's ok if he's right but Dan played the best game play ever! I will remember him. Jerry gave "old" a bad name.If he wins America's Fav. it's rigged like wrestling.
I'm ready for Survivor, American Idol and Amazing Race and then...BB 11. :)
Thanks HD and Coleen for a great season. I heart u both. And Drats, because he kept me giggling and shaking my head in agreement. All of the ones who commented here made it even a better season for the readers. So kudos.

DRATS - I was not about to pack up my toys at this point - because I knew the toasty Roast was coming up for the head of this Silly Site. To be frank, I would rather we not have to pack them up at all, but that is the real life.
I suspect some of the gang were doing their toodle-loo messages, just in case some would not be back until next season.
Gregor - I made a BIG Mistake. I listened to that silly clip you posted last night - this morning before I went to work this morning. Big, big mistake, as I kept having the chorus play through my head, luckily I did not sing it out loud.
Luvtaplay - great post - next time don't wait so long to jump in the pool with the rest of us!
Right on Dixie totally agree with your post.
BenF - wow, where did you get that crystal ball! LMAO

From HD - I won't be liveblogging the finale. I never do because that's the one show I like to sit back and enjoy each season. I'll have a post up shortly after it ends about it though. As far as links, check out the comments in the 'One HOH Coming Right Up' post.

Bummer...I have to go to Back to School Night tonight here in Calif & was hoping I could get my final BB fix here with your wonderful live blogging. Where are you my BB life line??? What, do you think you've been through a hurricane or something? :) Thanks HD for doing such a great job keeping us updated all season.

BenF,
My friend, that was "eff'n" hilarious! Makes me wanna rush to the video store and pick up any film Samuel L. Jackson has aver been in. (Well with the exception of the Star Wars debacles.) I tell ya, they would have been so much better if only he'd only been allowed some creative license. Just imagine it...
Mace Windu - Excuse me? Does Yoda look like a bitch ta you?
Sen. Palpatine - What?
*Mace Windu wastes Darth Maul with a blaster*
Sen. Palpatine - What?
Mace Windu - Oh, I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration? *draws his light-saber* Say "what" just one more time Mutha EFF'er!
What an EFF'n waste of such a dynamic actor. Lucas can go ta hell.
LOL,
DRATS
P.S. Sorry HD, I know that was way off topic. Guess I was angling for one last good spank'n.

Will the Hammy Raost will be on the same "Drat" channel? (a little attempt of humor see, I said Drat channel instead of Bat chan.....aw, you get it already).
Will it be here or, if not, can you direct me to where I can find it?
From HD - The roast will indeed be here. It will begin in the next couple of days. :)

BenF - BB58 - I gotta give it to you man. That was the most hilarious post I've seen for a long time (no offence to to DRATS, I feel he'll feel challenged). How did you even dream of such things? Shows whar a sick and devious mind you have.:) LMAO literally man. Great work.

BB season 10 is/was da bomb! I've enjoyed the game play, your blog HD, and all the comments from your posters.
I'm a Dan the Man fan and hope he wins the half million. As a school teacher he'll need it to have a comfortable and secure life. Kee deserves the favorite player award for her kindness and game play.
SuZieQ ... I was touched by your sweet story about your dad and the TV. I'll bet your mom wouldn't let him send it back to the store.
BenF ... OMG Your post is too funny. You've outdone yourself and I'm going back to read it a few more times.
HD ... The most amusing part of BB10 was the variety show. I went on youtube and watched it yet again. Dan with the penciled on mustache was a hoot. April and Ollie in the baby mama skit had me ROTFLMFAO especially when Ape tells him that he has 16 kids and he calls for a DNA test. Humor was pretty close to reality in this instance. My fav part tho was Memphis as the gay antique dealer and Jessie as Pepe Le Poop. Jessie was such a good sport and I temporarily forgot about his arrogance. All in all an outstanding season.

Jeff G... Dawlin', you should know by now that if ya have to explain it... it just ain't that funny... ;)
and, If I know my DRATS, and trust me... I do... you're gonna get a little butt chewin for incorrectly postin' his name... so get your fire bucket ready... ya gonna need it...

BenF...Laughinggggggg myyyyyyy assss offfff! Can it get any better than that!

I'm very very pleased Dan won and even more pleased Keesha, my favorite HG, won the $25k concillation prize, half of what Memphis won and for much less than 1/2 the stress!
I couldn't help but wonder what April thought when Keesha was announced America's favorite. April and Ollie have a lot of humble pie to eat and to say the least, a lot of humiliation to face. Wasn't it interesting that CBS didn't see the need to question them on their relationship! They absolutely didn't want to go there.

Dan won 7-0 Keesha won 25g

My day has been made...I may go out and buy a lottery ticket now...so glad that Dan won by a shutout!!! Way to go Keesha!!
Posted by: SuZieQ at September 16, 2008 07:12 PM
WELL THAT WAS AWESOME!
Dan Won, Memphis in second, Keesha got the fave juror. My three faves all got a prize! NICE!
I missed the beginin of this season, and after tonight i could tell that, had he made it farther, Steven would have been my all time favourite houseguest.

I can't believe I got both with wishes, Dan and Keesha! Kudo's to the jury, and to America(heavily boosted by the oft voting live feeders!

Hi, Thank You for all you on this site. I enjoy it every year, even check it from time to time in between the season's.
I had a question (please e-mail me with answer are post it on your site) (dying to know) Is this the first time some-one won on a 7 to 0 vote a shut out I guess is what i should say. I thought that was strange.
All in all I'm really glad Dan won, and K got the votes.
Thanks for all your hard work, and another great year. Keep in touch, hope everything goes great for you (hurricane stuff). GOD bless a fan Frances

I forgot
HD this is the first time the jurors voted for the same person

Sleepyeye, Drats, Diff, Absolon, Betty, and xtex88 -- thanks, and back at ya! :)
Posted by: BenF at September 17, 2008 07:42 AM
In a way, it seems reasonable that it was a 7-0 vote. There were very few (1 maybe?) times that the votes weren't unanimous with this group all the way through. When it came to voting, this was a group of lemmings.
Has anyone got a URL to the extended interview of Dan and Memphis with Julie Chen? I've seen the one that appeared on the morning show, but I can't find the longer version.
Finally, thanks HD! I really appreciate you and your blog!

Ollie's stupid backward baseball cap and his doggie style butt slapping escapades rival the Producer... Who is fouceed on herself... does not know how to listen and is insecure about her big self and all those around her.
All she did was focus on body style and her own lsck of self confidence...
Send her packin and find someone who still has creative talent... Perhaps a former House Guest...
