Players

The players for today's POV competition have been picked. Michelle, Libra, and Keesha will be playing in addition to Jerry (drawn by Libra), Memphis (drawn by Keesha), and April (drawn by Michelle). Ollie will be hosting and, from what April has said, is pretty excited about it. One interesting note for all of you conspiracy theorists out there: Michelle did check the bag to make sure everybody's chips were in there.

So who do you want to win POV today? What do you want them to do with it? Or would you rather they leave the nominations the same? And while we're waiting for things to get underway, check out yesterday's House Calls with Gretchen, Evel Dick, and newly evicted hamster Jessie. It's quite interesting!

Jessie is clueless! That video was fun to watch just because he made himself look like an even bigger fool. And to think I felt sorry for him when he was evicted. HA!

And I want Jerry to win POV becasue I want him to take Keesha off the block. Maybe then Michelle will use it on April so she can be voted out.

Thanks HD!

I really want the nominations to stay the same and Libra to go (wish with all my might it could be April going, but since that won't happen this week I'll settle for Libra). I really only want Michelle, Keesha or Memphis to win POV. I can't stand April and wouldn't want it to go to her head (it's big enough already). I don't want Jerry to win it because he's crossed the line in my book and I don't want him to have anything to brag about and act like he's responsible for "saving" someone again. Since Libra's the one that needs to go (of the options available), she can not win! That would be the only bad news. Keesha can leave right after April and Ollie - I'm not pulling for her in the over all game, but don't want her out just yet.

Jessie was beyond ridiculous on housecalls yesterday. Gretchen was clearly annoyed with him and just wanted it over. I think even Dick backed off because they knew he was incapable of understanding anything they said. The kid needs to learn other people live in this world with him - it does not revolve solely around him.

Go Michelle, Memphis and Keesha!

Posted by: TexanBBfan at August 9, 2008 01:19 PM

Great thinking by Michelle for checking the bag. Maybe she's a little smarter than we think. It's time someone used the veto, ANYONE. I want Memphis to win and take Keesha off. Maybe he can convince Michelle to put up April.

Posted by: absolon at August 9, 2008 01:24 PM

I WISH LIBRA WOULD WIN AND THAT MICHELLE WOULD THEN GET SMART AND PUT APRIL UP AGAINST KEESHSA. APRIL NEEDS TO GO!!@!~!!

Posted by: ANONYMOUS at August 9, 2008 01:37 PM

House Calls was a good one I never watch it but just had to se what Jessie had to say. I wonder how many Hamsters will use the napping stratagy.

"I did it week one" "I did it week 2... I never strayed" Ya know I did like Jessie until he was evicted now he just seems like an Idiot.

Posted by: shawn at August 9, 2008 01:42 PM

I would not have been able to handle Jessie in the house!! Grodner did a number on the other hamsters with that casting and now it's all going to his head because 'he stayed real'. The tool can't even put a complete sentence together or answer a question. Oh and he tries with all those big words. Point being. Point being. Point being. get over yourself! I loved that Gretchen was taking control and pushing him on his arrogance.

I hope anybody that wins uses the veto. pah-lease! Memphis seems to be doing a good job trying to expose April.

If Manchelle was playing a smart game, she'd realize April is her biggest competition - look at the end game and jury (tiny girl with her limberness and longetivity - hehe). Libra's the kind of player you take to the end because no one likes her and she creates drama. I'd imagine there'd be less drama now that Jessie isn't stirring the pot and Jerry will just be noise. Still can't believe people aren't trying to split up the couple and don't know they are knocking boots!!

Crossing fingers it's an interesting week. Thanks HD.

Posted by: agent99 at August 9, 2008 01:53 PM

I hope Libra wins, then Dan goes up and Keesha is voted out. I hope the POV competition is one where they have to drink nasty concoctions (sp) right before their steak and seafood feast.

These ppl kill me with their "revenge play". Michelle says "This is for you Jessie" and Jessie is on his way to Vegas to celebrate his girlfriends birthday hahahaha.

Michelle is also stupid for thinking Libra single handedly put people on the block and that the HOH had NOTHING to do with it. She is also doing the very same thing she claims she does not want to do. "Strong arming" people in to not using the POV if they should win it. She even said last night that she was going to tell Renny that if she used the POV to take Keesha off she was going to put her up in her place. Duh! she can't do that.

Michelle enjoy these last few days because once the POV ceremony is over you will be back to your lonely woe is me self. Those ppl won't talk to you any more.

Not much mention that going against April's wishes was a major reason to evict Jessie, both for HG's and America. Personally, I think that was the main reason...it was for me. Keesha/Libra really wanted to do what they've wanted to do all along, put April in her place. April will probably not even want HOH again now. Bad vibes for her. Ollie is pathetic, he just uses April's brain, not his own, what little he apparently has. Ollie's brain is in another part of his body. Surely he can't be serious about waking up next to April's face for the rest of his life.

Posted by: Dee at August 9, 2008 02:04 PM

Hey HD, I say we all get together and send Jessie a dictionary with the following words highlighted...Deviant, Respect and Arrogant...because he clearly has not clue what those words mean!

Posted by: recelee at August 9, 2008 02:08 PM

I want Michelle or April to win pov so the noms will stay the same. These two deserving nominees need to stay on the block!

Posted by: Jeremy at August 9, 2008 02:16 PM

Jessie is impossible, he will never in his life admit his failures. America lets get April next, then Ollie because he has done nothing in the house except hang on April's coat tail.

Posted by: Fred at August 9, 2008 02:17 PM

this game why do i watch every season, omg pleaz some one get april out of the house now, does anyone see if they take libra to the end they have the votes no one likes her come on michelle back door april she put your boy up after she plainly said on the wall jessie is safe

Thanks for the clip HD.

You Jessie haters crack me up. I just have to hope that none of you are history teachers or write history books, as I would not want to be in your one-sided classes and would not want to read your black and white accounts of what is what. I watched the video and hope everyone else does too. The video is 46 minutes long, and well over half of it is a fun, pleasant conversation between Jessie, Dick and Gretchen. For the 15 minutes of the video that Jessie does come off belligerent, let me ask you how you think you would respond if you'd just come stumbling out of a, what, 5 week surreal world, your head, heart and soul are all still still spinning from it, and one of the first questions you are basically asked is "So Jessie, why don't you tell us right now why you are a such an arrogant and conceited little prick?"

I had my ups and downs with Jessie but i listened to everything he said and did and came out rooting for him. And I am glad that at least 5 of the calls Jessie received were nice and positive feedback for him to hear.

Posted by: BenF at August 9, 2008 02:55 PM

Quick Question..

When I watch Housecalls my video stops/pauses every minute or so..it alternates from sound/show to pause every other minute or so..this goes on for the entire show..Does this happen to anyone else?

This has been happening with each season so I watch about 5 minutes and then just give up..

Would like to see Libra go home..

From HD - Perhaps you could try using a different browser to view the video in? If you're using IE, try using Firefox instead.

BEN F!!!!!!!
Are you on "CRACK"???????????????
What is with the Jessie loving?? The guy is an arrogant a-hole, and so full of himself. I am sure you think he is not on roids or anything else to right??
He could not answer Juile's simple questions. Pls get a grip on life.

Posted by: snowman at August 9, 2008 03:22 PM

One of my favorite Jessie lines in house calls came when Gretchen was asking him why he freaked out so bad over lossing a little sleep. " UHH So you dont like to sleep?"

Posted by: Shawn at August 9, 2008 03:24 PM

I was glad to see Jessie evicted. After watching House Calls I think he is as dumb as a rock. I just thought he was an arrogant jerk in the house. I didn't realize how stupid he is. He is so dumb he doesn't even know he is arrogant, or what that means.

HD thanks for doing a great job, as always.

Posted by: Michelle at August 9, 2008 03:55 PM

Thanks for this link, HD. It demonstrates how far up his own butt Jesse lives. He hasn't a clue that anyone else has a thought that doesn't revolve around him. What a fool! I hope life shows him that he is not the center of all things. And I think that he has filled his brain with muscle because he does not track in a conversation - either with Julie or with Gretchen and E.D. Bye, bye, Jesse. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Posted by: nanette at August 9, 2008 03:55 PM

Ok, any doubts that anyone had that Jessie is stupid and is arrogant should be dispelled by this interview. Thank you Jessie for being the true arragant ass you truly are on Housecalls. Gretchen even spoonfed the questions and tried to wipe your mouth after you drooled your answers all over your little dimpled chin. You just don't know how to say anything else. You answer all questions with the same words over and over, and the questions are different each time. I'm glad your 4 weeks in the house are over.

Posted by: Joy in WI at August 9, 2008 04:16 PM

Snowman: Let me get this right. You're name is Snowman. Snowman. And you're asking me if I am the one on crack? Got Irony Snowman?

Snowman: Julie wasn't even in this video, and you're advising me to get a grip??

Whaddup Snowman?

From HD - Snowman is probably referring to the equally silly interview that Julie gave Jessie for the Early Show that I posted the video for yesterday. Jessie was about as intelligent and humble there as he was in this House Calls video. ;)

ccc3s if you have a sattlite connection this will happen it is called sattelite lag. I get it all the time on the live feeds.

Want Libra to win POV just to shake Michelle up and maybe see April go home,

Posted by: granny at August 9, 2008 05:00 PM

After watching BBAD last night I have to say I am a little disappointed in Keesha, as she was one of my favorites. I can see her attempting to save herself, but man was she throwing Libra under the old "proverbial" bus. Letting everyone, Michelle in particular, think that Libra dreamed up the idea of getting Jessie out is not right. That was totally Keesha's idea, and she got them to go along with it. And also saying Angie wasn't someone she wanted to go, others tried to talk her into keeping Angie and she was adamant that she had to leave. So.... I am looking at her with new eyes now. Whatever happens please don't let Dan be the scapegoat after we made him do it.

Posted by: Sandiekay at August 9, 2008 05:06 PM

You just gotta love that the guys who called in loving Jessie sounded a bit like they may have really wanted to "love" Jessie. You could see the panic in his face each time one of those guys called in. He tried to hide it, but you could see he was feeling awkward.

I am so happy I will not have to listen to the phrase "point being" without having to give up my summertime guilty pleasure.

I think I would have liked the dorky skinnny Jessie, but I think he turned into exactly what tortured him when he built up his body.

Arrogance is the most unnattractive trait for a guy to have. Jessie is definitely so far from just self confidence that I don't think he can even see how full of himself he is anymore. I wish he'd watch the show and really look at himself and ask if that is who he truly wants to be.

And I want the nominations to stay the same because it means Dan will be safe this week. I don't want to see him have to leave because he was AP.

I'm mostly lurking this season in order to avoid pissing people off, but I have stuck my nose in to ask a question. The Early Show video that HD posted yesterday is over ten minutes long. I recorded the Early Show from one of the local CBS stations, and the interview was only about one minute long and did not occur until 90 minutes into the show. Did anybody else watch the interview off the air? If so, was the interview cut short? I'm guessing my station just cut most of it to sell more local ads.

From HD - It's nice to finally see you this season gray! From what I read around the net yesterday morning, the short interview is what aired on The Early Show for everybody everywhere. So it wasn't your local affiliate's fault.

Posted by: gray at August 9, 2008 06:01 PM

Jessie is a simpleton. How can his mother be proud? And of course he pairs up with a foul mouth woman...how demoralizing!

Thanks for posting the entire thing. They should not even bother to advertise the segment if they are gonna wait until the show is practically over and then only let us see just a snippet. Or maybe the producers saw what a lousy interview Jessie is and just didn't want to waste anymore time with him.

Posted by: gray at August 9, 2008 06:29 PM

It doesn't matter whether she is proud or not. All that matters is that she shows him RESPECT!

Posted by: gray at August 9, 2008 06:34 PM

I just watched the interview with Dick and Gretchen. "Point being" Jesse is PATHETIC !!! Quite a ditzy guy.

Posted by: djk at August 9, 2008 06:47 PM

GRAY!!!!! Welcome back. We did miss you! You add spice!

Oh what torture, I just finished watching the Jessie show. Oops, meant to say Housecalls confused this time. I have tried to defend the guy because he is young, but gag! He continued to believe that solely because of Dan and America's vote he is out the door. Even when Dick explained the sequence many times, Jessie still couldn't wrap his little pinhead around that. And as Gretchen was trying to get Jessie to understand arrogance was just funny. Talk about clueless.

As hard as it was to watch HD, thanks. I have not been checking it out lately.

P.S. Want them to keep the noms the same.

Posted by: Sleepyeye10 at August 9, 2008 07:03 PM

I LOVED it that Gretchen called Jesse out for being arrogant, a whiny cry baby about needing his sleep, and for never answering your questions. This guy is a giant tool, and I say GOOD RIDDANCE!!

Posted by: StephanieG at August 9, 2008 07:20 PM

Dick sucks! He needs to get a real job. Enough is enough!

Posted by: Ann at August 9, 2008 07:33 PM

LMAO = Jessie does not understand how he can be perceived as arrogant. He is an immature boy who will someday grow up and hopefully feel ashamed of himself. I actually pity him because he can not seem to comprehend the dumb way he acted.

E.D. was low class as ever, putting his dirty boots on the couch. Can't stand him at all. I don't like Jerry but E.D.'s ageist remarks were unnecessary.

Posted by: kurly at August 9, 2008 07:43 PM

Exactly Joy I, and once Dubya, I mean Jessie, is out of office, I mean out of the spotlight, and has had a chance to see himself in the light that some people have seen him in, maybe he will see that to some people he comes off unintelligent, cocky and stubborn to a fault. But it still doesn't make him a bad kid. I've seen some despicable human beings on Big Brother over the years and I hardly count Jessie as one of them.

As to your comment about Jessie being queasy about "gay" guys calling in, that's something you totally read into. Maybe if you play that back you will see that that first "gay" sounding (I'm going there since you did) person who called, called right after Gretchen and Dick were trying to make him agree he was arrogant (the 7 minutes of tension in the interview). And then that first complimenting kid called with his compliment to Jessie. And before Jessie even had a chance to react to the call, Dick pulled attention away from the kid and the question by interjecting a comment to Jessie about something he thought Jessie had said to him. After they addressed that, Jessie immediately went back to the kid and asked him his name, and thanked him for his call.

If you'd like to bash April, I promise not to defend her.

Hi Gray. We had an office pool going as to what day you would "pop" in. I suspected it would be sometime around Libra's demise. :)

Posted by: BenF at August 9, 2008 07:54 PM

Boy, do I agree with recelee on somebody shuving a dictionary at Jesse w/o an "i". Those are the exact words that I had in mind that he is so clueless about. Someday he's going to get a rude awakening in the respect department. The worst thing that bothered me about the House Calls interview was that Jesse w/o an "i" never answered a question, he just asked another question to change the subject. That is one of the rudest things a interviewee can do to a host.

On current events, I'm beginning to like Michelle. She's growing on me, now that she's out from under what's his name's shadow. She put the right people up for nomination, and has the right attitude about voting, but she has still treatened people on the POV. She can't put up April this week, too bad. Libra needs to go, though. Too bad Dan has to put up with all the BS this week, but he has his rewards. I'm glad Michelle checked the POV chit bag for completness, I've often wondered if all the names were represented in the bag. Sometimes it seems the same people are coming up on POV competition. I don't quite understand what the Colonel's problem is with Dan "...using his religion..." as a crutch to justify his eviction vote.

HD, thanks for suppying the video it just reinforced the notion that what's his name is a broken record. Spewing the same stuff to us that he did in the house. Good riddens.

JESSE,

AS A MOM, I REALLY FEEL YOU NEED HELP. IM SURE YOUR OWN MOM PROBABLY TRIED TO TELL YOU BUT YOU WOULDN'T LISTEN TO HER. HONEY, YOU REALLY NEED TO GET THAT CHIP OFF YOUR SHOULDER. YOU DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE. YOU FEEL YOUR WAY IS THE ONLY WAY AND EVERYONE IS JEALOUS OF YOU SO THATS WHY THINGS DON'T GO YOUR WAY. IT IS NOT SO. PEOPLE DO
NOT LIKE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR YOUR ARROGANCE. EVIL DICK AND GRETCHEN TRIED TO MAKE YOU SEE THAT, BUT YOU AGAIN WOULD NOT LISTEN. YOU FEEL YOU ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. PEOPLE ARE JEALOUS ABOUT THE WAY YOU LOOK. NOT SO. YOUR LOOKS ARE AVERAGE BUT WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH YOU BECOME UGLY. YOUR BODY IS OVERGROWN IT MAKES YOUR HEAD LOOK SMALL. TONE EVERYTHING DOWN AND YOU WILL BE A HANDSOME BOY. LISTEN TO WHAT EVERYONE SAYS AND MAYBE YOU CAN LEARN AND BECOME A BETTER PERSON. BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T DO THESE THINGS YOU ARE HEADED FOR A LIFE OF DISAPPOINTMENT AND SORROW. AND PLEASE JESSIE'S MOM, DO YOUR JOB AND HELP THIS POOR BOY.

Mary,

As a mom, do you always talk to your children in ALL CAPS!?

Posted by: BenF at August 10, 2008 01:08 PM

It's tough love, BenF. Let 'em have it, Mary.

I just saw a video from a couple of weeks back that shows Jessie's arrogance. He said that he uses analogies so that people of just ordinary intelligence can comprehend what he is saying. I guess Gretchen on House Calls could not even comprehend with all that extra help, since she told him his broken car-windshield analogy made no sense with respect to Renny's apology.

Posted by: gray at August 10, 2008 05:02 PM

If you looked up "Dumb Jock" in the dictionary you'd find a picture of Jesse. He can't even blame steriods for making him a muscle head. He's so thick he couldn't understand the way the America's player vote worked, even with Dick and Gretchen explaining it several times. I hope when he watches the show and the House Call's interview he picks up on his speach patterns. Point being. Point Being. And his talk about respect. Puhleese! The boy wouldn't know respect if it walked up and bit him on the butt.
