Ollie Wasn't Jolly
Do you think that Ollie should have been tossed out of the game for his behavior (throwing and breaking things) yesterday afternoon?
In Big Brother 2, Justin Sebik was expelled for destruction of house property and threatening a fellow houseguest. He asked houseguest Krista if she'd get mad if he killed her, then put a knife to her throat and kissed her. If I recall correctly, both were very intoxicated at the time and Krista was willingly kissing him.
In BB4, Scott Weintraub was expelled for an outburst he had in the house. Upset at the season's twist (his ex-girlfriend was in the house), he tossed the living room chairs around while yelling and cursing and then refused to go to the diary room when they called him. He apologized to his fellow houseguests later but they felt uncomfortable around him so Scott was tossed.
In BB6, Eric Littman ('Cappy') and Michael Donnellan got into a confrontation over something that Michael had said about Eric's family earlier. Michael was the provoker and Cappy had enough. He went after Michael but the other houseguests stepped in between them before any blows could be thrown. Big Brother separated them by calling Eric to the diary room and Michael to the storage room. Later, Eric apologized to the house and told them he'd never hurt anyone. Eric was not expelled though.
In BB8, Dick Donato ('Evel Dick') engaged in what some would call abusive behavior in the house towards his fellow houseguests. He poured tea on on Jen Johnson's head while she was involved in an argument with Dick's daughter, Daniele Donato. Then there was the cigarette-burning incident with Jen. Dick also engaged in many verbal confrontations with houseguests Amber, Dustin, Eric, and Zach. Dick never apologized to any houseguest and was not expelled.
I liken what Ollie did yesterday to Scott's incident in BB4. If Big Brother was going to expel Ollie they would have done it yesterday after the events happened. Ollie said yesterday that he received a verbal warning about his behavior in the house. I wonder why Big Brother didn't have him apologize for his behavior though.
What are your thoughts on Ollie's behavior yesterday? Do you think he has the propensity for more violent behavior like that in the house? How do you think it compares to behavior we've seen in previous seasons? Should Ollie have been expelled?

HD,
Thank you so much for all you do here! Couldn't take off work today, so I will be (as usual) periodically checking on your posts.
I think Ollie should have AT LEAST been given a penalty nom. His behavior was not in proportion with what happened. It's not like someone mentioned his lack of sexual prowess (which he made plainly evident to everyone) or threatened his family or anything. Someone went back on their word - which he should have been expecting. I mean, come on, it is Big Brother!

Ollie needs to write April's name on his right hand and relieve his tensions. He is one of the few who has no idea how to play this game yet with April He's had game. If he's mad now about being betrayed wait till he gets to the jury house and finds that he's been cut off!!

So it was season 4? I posted somewhere else that i thought it was season 5 where someone got thrown out for tossing furniture and breaking things. i certainly so think he should of gotten thrown out of the game. if you do it one year, why not another when it happens again? I really dislike ollie now and think he and michelle are biggest sore losers ever on the show!! Hope he goes after michelle on thursday. Maybe they didn't toss him b/c that would throw the jury numbers off?
