What I Want To See In Big Brother 10

I don't know about you but I'm tired of seeing a bunch of young and picture perfect twenty-somethings. The one or two token "older" people they throw in there doesn't float my boat either.

I want to see real people. I want to see hamsters of all ages and of different races with different backgrounds. Enough of these people being on the show hoping to become a model or an actress out of their stint in the house.

With that said, I like watching pretty people just as much as the next person but how often have the pretty people cast in Big Brother turned out to be ugly as individuals? Most of the time they've been boring to watch as well. How about some average men and women? Enough of the big fake boobs and men with muscles so big their head looks like an egg atop their shoulders.

Watching normal people in the Big Brother house isn't so bad. I seem to remember it a long long time ago. The interesting thing about those normal people was that as time passed, they grew more attractive because they actually had interesting personalities and could carry on an intelligent conversation.

If the rumors of this season's theme is correct, I have some hope. A house filled with hamsters who have diametrically opposed views on everything from religion to politics could be interesting. Dare I say, they may even be halfway intelligent? Zealots on both sides of every fence are interesting to watch and could create quite the interesting dynamics in the house.

Will they be able to discuss their views and beliefs in a mature and thought-provoking manner or will they be bullyish and try to force their beliefs on others? How many alpha males and females might we get out of this experiment and will it help to curb the splitting up of the house so early on in the season? Could the alphas join forces, despite a possible difference in beliefs, and get rid of their underlings? Or might the underlings band together and watch the alphas fight it out between themselves? It could be quite fun to watch all of this don't you think?

Tell me in the comments what you want to see in the house this season. What do you think of this "house divided" theme? Do you believe the rumors that there will actually be hamsters of all ages this season? I want to know!!!

And don't forget to fire up your feeds tomorrow (Tuesday, July 2) at 6:00 PM Big Brother time. (That's Pacific time for any that might be new to the show.) Sheila from Big Brother 9 will be on Feed 4 to dish about her experience in the house and fill us in on what's been going on since she was evicted last season. I'll be checking it out that's for sure!

ETA - Check out this interview (the entire eight-minute interview is available in audio if you're interested in listening to everything she says) from our beloved executive producer of Big Brother regarding the upcoming tenth season. All strangers? Check. All ages? Check check. The game starting before the hamsters even enter the house? Huh? What do you think after reading or listening to this?

If the rumors are true it could be a very interesting season. I just hope that all the talk isn't about God putting them in a the BB house because He wants them to win. I can't stand to watch anyone again like that so soon after Amber and Natalie.

If they're going to put several Christians and Catholics in the house, I sure hope there are a few Atheists and Agnostics. That would be interesting to watch.

I agree whole heartedly. I am so sick of seeing the young ones who really havent got a clue.
Thats why albeit she drove me batty, I liked Sheila on there. She was someone that is my age.
Thats why I adored Chicken George! I miss him.
12 days! I cant wait!
