Portuguese Princess From Providence

I had a hard time determining what the title of this post should be. On the one hand, I wanted it call it 'You Better Not' in reference to Renny's comment back at Libra in their argument on the show tonight. I'd actually started writing a post with that title until it came time to listen to Dan during the POV ceremony.

So now you know.

Michelle is the Portuguese princess from Providence? Seriously, I have to barf. I don't know which is worse. Hearing Dan say that to her and everybody else in the house while begging for his BB life or actually typing that phrase.

On behalf of Dan, I'd like to apologize to two sets of peoples. To those of you who happen to be related to any Portuguese royalty in previous generations, please pay no attention to Dan. He knows not what he says. He is yet another example of a stupid American. I have watched this person named Michelle on the live video feeds and I can attest to the fact that she is no princess. She's certainly no princess belonging to blood so prestigious as that of the Portuguese. Again, please forgive Dan for saying such a thing.

And also on behalf of Dan, I'd like to apologize to the people of the glorious state of Rhode Island. I can't imagine the huge burden this person named Michelle has placed, and continues to place, upon your tiny state. For Dan to publicly call her a princess has to have caused even more damage to Little Rhody's name. I am a Texan and I would like to offer our grand state's extended arms to your poofy-haired and vain resident but I don't believe the governor would allow it. Perhaps an arrangement can be made with either the state of North Dakota or Montana?

Really though, it was a great show tonight. Jessie and his stupid muscle shirts and pointy nipples graced my eyes so often tonight I thought I was going to go blind. Michelle should be glad that her little power trip up in the HOH room with Jessie and Steven wasn't shown that much. Those of us watching the feeds at that time know what a little bitch she is. She might still have a few fans left outside of Rhode Island and Portugal but I doubt it.

And how about Libra? The girl was cold busted and she knew it. One thing that most of us have learned in life is that when people protest a little too much, it usually means they're guilty. I was just glad that Renny was there to finish the call-out. Libra must have forgotten in her slop stupor (she'd been on real food for three days when she said what she did) that one of the "old" people was right there when she was saying what she said. Understand that?

I wasn't a fan of Renny's after the first show but I have to tell you, that LSU gal from New Orleans has grown on me like a heat rash. She was once at the bottom of my list but no more. I love watching and listening to her on the feeds and I hope she wins the whole thing this season. I at least want her to last longer than Michelle, Jessie, and Libra.

But back on topic, the Power of Veto competition was a cool one. I can understand how they'd lose their concentration when that blind came rolling down. But it was really interesting watching Keesha, Michelle, and Libra passing time until the slop pass was out of play. I felt bad for Keesha getting the raw end of the deal on that one but I was also happy that she stood her ground. And I hope and pray that she's really not with the Libra/April/Ollie alliance. *crosses fingers*

It does still look as though Steven will be the one leaving the Big Brother house tomorrow night and that's sad. At the same time though, he's really too nice of a guy to play this kind of game. Perhaps Wheel Of Fortune or The Price Is Right would be better suited for him.

And a little treat to those of you who may not have been watching the live feeds earlier this evening -- be sure to set your DVR or Tivo (or even VCR if you still use one of those) to record The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS tonight. Check your programming guide for when it comes on if you're not sure. But let's just say that Julie Chen and twelve of her favorite houseguests will be starring in a segment. Judging by the hamsters' reactions on the live feeds after the segment was filmed it seems that a few of them were put in their place.

So what did you think about the show tonight? Is the Portuguese Princess from Providence your absolute favorite hamster of all time? I honestly can't imagine any of you thinking otherwise.

;)

Comments

I'm in favor of anything with the initials 'LSU'involved. Renny is a member of the N'Awlins Y'at club (Where y'at, dawlin?) I hope she stays in the game for a while. Me, I'm pulling for Angie to get HOH soon so she can rock the house to its foundation.

Speaking of LSU, what's the deal with Keesha wearing Steven's LSU cap during the veto team selection? I can see why some would doubt the sincerity of her allegiance to the Zebra squad.

Michelle looks like a man.

There, I said it.

Impressions on tonight's show ...

Jessica (that's his new name cause I'm tire of him calling Steven "Steve" - now that's disrepsectful!) "I've won every competition I've played in and I don't have a target on my back" -- can you spell DELUSIONAL? I'm so ready for him to go! (I'm also ready for BB to do a Jessica montage featuring Aretha Franklin!)

Michelle - stop fawning over Jessica And you better smarten up. You had the golden opportunity to get one of the strongest players out of the house and you were too chicken to do it!

Libra - methinks the lady (and I hesitate to call her that) doth protest too much. She needs to take a cue from Renny and tone it down a little or she'll get to see Julie soon rather than later!

Memphis - why is no one calling him on his comments about running the house? They crucified Brian for the same thing last week. The houseguests need to wise up and get him out while they can.

April - still can't stand her. And she should pay attention to how fast Libra threw her under the in the confrontation with Jerry.

Dan - so he's going to not play to take the target off his back? Well, if he doesn't start to play real soon he's going to find himself on the block again due to the "stench of Brian" that everyone seems to still be hung up on.

Jerry/Renny - these "old, slow" players need to lay back and let these paranoid "yound, quick" folks take each other out. Then they can teach thse young whippersnappers that are left who's really the boss!

Keesha - she's growing on me, but I'm not sure where she is going to place her loyalties. Time will tell.

Steven - nice try, but unless there's some major shakeup in the house tonight, I think he's on his way back to the Lone Star State tomorrow night.

Ollie - can't say much about liking him. I think the showmance will eventually be his downfall. He should have stayed with his first impression and alligned with the guys. April and Libra will eat him alive down the road.

Angie - still my favorite. She's toned it down a bit, tried to make amends where necessary, and worked on strategy when needed. I think if she can hang around, the houseguests will be real surprised when she gets in power!

Thanks for the good work, HD!

Was Jerry really playing with April's boobs? Read this on another site. All of these hamsters are quacks! Yes, like that NO girl Renny.

From HD - Jerry wasn't 'playing' with April's boobs. After entering the house and during the group introductions on the first night, April offered her fellow houseguests a chance to feel her "real" boobs because she said she didn't have implants. Jerry took her up on her offer. The video is out there for you to watch. If you check here at my blog the day before the show started, you'll find the video.

Calling Michelle a princess was probably the biggest joke ever in BB history. Talk about kissing ass!

I do NOT get why Steven is such a huge threat. What has he done other than talking with Brian? He gave up the car for Memphis and he voted to evict Brian.

I think Michelle shoudl have spoken with the others to see if they indeed did want Libra out. Esppecialy when Steven told her he didn't care if she took Dan down if it meant Libra went up. Stupid move Michelle.

I can only hope Libra is out next week. And I hope she gets on slop again just because she's such a bitch about it. No one is stopping you from eating. Texture issues with food are mental. But she doesn't seem to have any mental strength at all.

I do kind of like Michelle - I don't hate her. I actually liked the subtle hinting she was doing last night with Jessie. She was so wanting him to say "You can come sleep up in the HoH with me." I'm kind of suprised that she even knows how to hint around because she certainly gets confused any time anyone uses an analogy. Everything is literal with this chick. So I guess she kind of makes Jessie interesting. He doesn't bite when she throws her line out to him, and I think it is funny. And she claims to not want him. Does she really not see it?

Thanks for the tip about Craig Ferguson - I'll DVR it.

Posted by: Joy in WI at July 22, 2008 08:18 PM

Michelle is okay. I don't have the feeds to pass judgement like those who have it, but I do watch BBAD, and she never comes across to me like I should dislike her. I liked the show tonight. I'm just waiting for Jessie and Michelle to smooch. Maybe that will throw her off her game.

I'm hoping that Angie wins the HOH this week, b/c I'd like to see the others kiss her ass. That will, in itself, be fun to watch. Go Angie, go.

By the way, what's up with most of the girls, except Angie, calling everyone baby or honey all the time? That's annoying.

Posted by: djk at July 22, 2008 08:19 PM

Libra, you are one piece of lying shit! Busted and still continued to lie her ass off. She makes my skin crawl... Didn't want to be seen as the angry black women?? You are what you are, skank!

I am hoping not using the veto comes back to bite this STUPID Michelle right in the ass. Anyone not seeing Libra as a bigger threat than Steven is wearing blinders! Her decision, I am sure, not to use it, is based purely on jeaslousy. She is pea green jealous of Angie and getting Steven out will surely put a hurt to Angie. She's more worried about Jesse looking at Angie, than she is of anything. Her boo-hooing hissy fit tonight on the feeds, worried about Jesse's reputation at home with his girlfriend is CRAP! She is so hot for this box of rocks, smoke is coming off my screen! STUPID...
Dan is just trying to survive the fallout of last week. Kissing everyones ass and boots is all hes got...
Dan and Renny were on the bottom of my list but both have grown on me. Think Renny would jump ship from the HERD in a New York second.. She's laying low and looking pretty non threating at this point. Dan whom I thought I would hate, (politics) is gaining lots of points in my book.
Steven layed his ass on the line with "take Dan off and keep me on the block". Thats should have sold dummie, but alas, she is just that!! Will be sad to see him walk out the door and interesting to see if Keesha votes to keep him. Probably not!

Posted by: diff at July 22, 2008 08:28 PM

Hw about the F bomb they missed covering up around the 12 or 13 min mark when April dropped it after Keesha leaves the room! Priceless

Posted by: DT at July 22, 2008 08:29 PM

I like Angie and Memphis. Michelle is okay. Don't feel bad for Keesha, she just got caught in a lie like Libra did. In tonight's show they showed her in the diary room saying that she wanted to win Veto to take Steven off, and then when her loyalty was questioned, she backed down and lied that she wanted it to prove herself. Nope, don't feel sorry for her.

Posted by: Ladytex at July 22, 2008 08:32 PM

Steven is going because he's the ultimate rebellious floater, they probably could never trust him. He was WAY too upset and pouty after Brian left, guess he loved him. Letting love of another HG take over your game is never smart.

Michelle is strong enough to win, along with Jessie. Their alliance is strong, the weakest being Angie whose emotions take her over way too much as evidenced by the Brian fiasco.

The rest of them are too busy having catfights or making out to be a serious threat at this time.

Posted by: Dee H. at July 22, 2008 08:33 PM

IMO Michelle missed the opportunity to get rid of Libra. This will come back to bite her in the end. Not sure why anyone in the house would want Libra to remain when she lies so often..Hard to tell what is going on with her and I think this would have been the perfect opportunity to back door her out of the game...oh well just my perspective..Keep up the great work HD as usual you do a fantastic job each season..

Posted by: ccc3s at July 22, 2008 08:56 PM

Michelle is really driving me up a wall. I can't stand her voice, her attitude or her stupidity.

I really hope someone of substance winsd HOH this week to get the house moving.

I want Libra gone first followed by April. Then I think the house will be less full of childish drama and on to the good drama.

Posted by: footballmom at July 22, 2008 08:56 PM

It was totally predictable, except for Renny bitching out Libra was priceless!

YOU BETTER NOT!

Posted by: Gregor at July 22, 2008 09:34 PM

Okay I now have a name for the all high and bratty one LI-BRAT!!

OMG could one person be such a 12 yr old "Who said it? Who said it?" uhh you did you little li-brat. Agreed HD protesting so much certainly makes you appear guilty and of course we all know she is.

Michelle what a tool!! "I know when I'm being played and I didn't fall for it". OMG what an idiot. Steven should have done like the rest of the heard and called everyone except LI-BRAT up to the HOH room and bullied Michelle into putting little Miss LI-BRAT on the block.

I am hoping and praying Angie, Keesha, Jerry or Renny win HOH tomorrow "Game On" if one of those four win.

Posted by: CoachCher at July 22, 2008 09:35 PM

Why is Steven leaving? I'll tell you why Steven is leaving. Didn't y'all hear Jesse talking about his chess strategy the other night? He said, "I get rid of the expendable pieces so I can concentrate on the pieces that matter." And that's exactly how he and his alliance are playing this game. No matter what Jesse told Dan and Steven about why they were put up, they were put up because they need to get rid of the expendable floating pieces. There is or was a strong alliance of Libra, Ollie, April and Keesha, that they couldn't go after straightoff because they don't want those 4 people going hysterical and splintering off into more floating pieces. They want to keep that group together so that they know where their hits are coming from. And then when the board is cleared, take them down one by one.

I just wish Steven had stuck around long enough to have gotten the next head of household and organized himself, Keesha, Angie, Renny, and Jerry to start taking out the other 2 groups. I do think Jessie, Memphis and Michelle are pretty smart play-wise. They've contained Angie and Dan, and now the only floating pieces are Renny and Jerry. And I believe they will end up using Keesha to help take out Ollie, Libra and April.

HD, as emotional and nice as he comes off, I do think Steven would have had the stuff to make it to the end in this game. The rodeo is one of the toughest games in town. And you have to be pretty dang tough to be good at it -- and Steven is.

My other impressions of tonight's show -- I love Keesha more and more each day, and I now think i want her to win, or at least be in the final two with Angie.

I also am really starting to dig Renny now, now that she's decided to tone down the Gloria Swanson/Sunset Boulevard routine. Boy do I love watching her skulking around corners, waiting to pounce.

I also loved what Jerry said tonight when he stirred the pot with Libra and someone tried to calm him and he said something like "I know what I'm doing." I do believe Jerry fully believes he is a brilliant strategist and that he is going to win this game. :)

Have you ever seen anyone play such a low key game as Ollie? I swear, sometimes I forget he's in the house. Except of course when his little blondie blond boobie girl is around.

And finally -- now that our gay, woman-pleasing hero Steven Skywalker is set to be exiled to a distant moon, I still have hopes that his sister, Princess Keesha, will be able to withstand the evil empires until such time as we the viewers are able to vote his ass back into the house!

A couple of points and opinions

1-I don't know what I disliked more about this sentence that Michelle said to Jesse, "I wanted to be in a showmance." The fact that she used the word "showmance" or the fact that she admitted wanting to be a part of one. Poor Rhode Island.

2- I'm a huge Angie fan....she's the first Asian girl I've ever found attractive. Love the voice!

3- I read somewhere that CBS had to do the veto comp THREE times because the POV neckless kept getting stuck in Michelle's hair....which I can't believe she finds attractive (or anybody else would). However, on the show tonight, did you notice that CBS didn't even show her taking off the neckless?! They just showed her putting it in the box. Hysterical!

4- Why are they after Steven and not Dan? They say it's a Brian thing. Well, Dan voted for Brian to stay and Steven did not! With Brian already gone and Steven likely to follow, two entertaining dudes will be already out. CBS can't like that.

5- My list from the 12 remaining guests...from favorite to least favorite.
1-Angie
2-Steven
3-Renny
4-Memphis
5-Dan
6-Jerry
7-Keesha
8-Ollie
9-Michelle
10-Jessie
11-April
12- Mrs. NObama

HD-
I think it's time for a poll.....who do the fand like the most and the least. I would love to hear their opinions.
Thanks.

Ok...just to make this short yet not so sweet:

Can't wait to see Jessie's long fall from his Self-made Pedestal...that guy only has eyes for himself and the sooner his g/f and Michelle realizes this the better!

Michelle along with Jessie feels they have this game won already..cant wait till the table turns!

Libra will never be satisified unless she is calling the shots and will continue to lie her butt off and lay the blame at everyone elses feet..cant wait to see the door hit her in the butt.....but not before.......

The Pervin Col. Jerryatric...which grosses me out with all his sexual comments and pawing all the girls! He had better go home while he still has a home or his family may send him to the Geriatric Home!

April/Ollie...just using each other for the game! I'm sure that Ollie's parents will not accept April after seeing her tonight on the Craig Ferguson Show begging a 75 y/o pervert to feel her up! I'm sure April is making her family proud as well...NOT!

Renny...really starting to like her...hope she hangs in there for a while!

Angie...my favorite to win HOH this week and my overall favorite at this time (which is subject to change weekly this soon in the season)

The rest...ok I guess...Memphis a little to sure of himself to win and control the votes but guess we will see..and..Keesha...just floating wherever she needs to at the time!

oh...forgot Dan...waiting to see how he plays the game since he has had to kiss butt just to stay this week!

Last but for sure not Least: HD..MY FAVORITE ALL-TIME BB fan and the person I always come to for the FACTS! Thanks GirlFriend! Muah! xoxo

Glad to see some of you coming around to Renny's side. I've liked her from almost the beginning. She's funny and smarter than most of the others think. Would love to see her get HOH to see if she would have the guts to bring it on!! Still can't wait to see Libra go.

Posted by: SuZieQ at July 22, 2008 10:11 PM

LOVE: Keesha (my new favorite), Angie, Memphis (he grew on me, despite my reservations), Renny.

LIKE: Jerry, Dan, Steven (though he's out the door).

DISLIKE: April, Ollie

DESPISE: Libra, Jessie and Michelle.

This is a new one for me - - since I think I took someone (BenF? ClayPo?) to task last season for hating someone on the show. Hate seemed like such a strong emotion for a character on a reality show. But I really, really, really want Libra, Jessie and Michelle to "get theirs" in terms of payback for the nasty, self-centered and destructive people they are.

It bugs me that two of the people I love (Memphis and Angie) are aligned with two of the people I despise (Jessie and Michelle). Hopefully the first two will see the true colors of the second two and get rid of them sooner instead of later.

I'm hoping that Keesha gets HOH this week. It's the best chance of seeing Jessie, Libra and/or Michelle on the block.

I thought the Power of Veto competition was a good one - - but that every single one of the competitors was over-the-top LAME. I thought Dan's strategy was stupid. Throw it - - sure - - but only AFTER Steven loses, you idiot! Not a single contestant guessed it correctly on the first try. In fact - - only two were even solved!

I bet they had lots more puzzles behind the garage doors to solve and never thought that in four quick puzzles, all the contestants would be eliminated. Heck - - they even gave them the answer they were looking for; they didn't even have to figure out WHAT the key word is - - just what combination of plates formed it.

Survivor contestants are having to memorize strange symbols and remember their order all while dehydrated and undernourished . . . and yet they rise to the challenge. Here, they only needed to memorize three states names and repeat them in order. I would love to plop this current group of houseguests on a Survivor-type island for three days and see what happens.

Hey!! Anyone have the link to Jerry's blog and HOH pictures from last week. Have yet to find them. Thanks!!!

From HD - For some reason, the HOH blog and pictures aren't on the CBS site. No idea why.

Posted by: lynn0538 at July 23, 2008 04:56 AM

Oh lord. I can't explain you how much I don't like Michelle and Jessie.

How &^#$ing stupid is Michelle!?! Reasoning with that *&!^$ is like talking to a brick wall! She thinks booting Steven is a GOOD THING?? Keeping Libra, to her, is a GOOD THING?? DAMN. Why are there so many IDIOTS this season!? :(

I just can't explain how deep my loathing is for that woman. Did anyone notice when she said she wasn't using the veto? Everyone but Dan and Libra went "*face palm*" ;)

Posted by: Brian at July 23, 2008 05:09 AM

I gotta say that this season is entertaining but still missing the fireworks of previous seasons...but I have great hope for this group.

Jesse just makes me puke...I love it when someone wins one of the first HOH comps and then acts like they are running the house. He will be bitching the loudest when he gets nominated...so typical...and can BB buy him some clothes?

Michelle looks like she is 45 with her bad makeup and cheesy 80's hair. Are you we sure she is not from Jersey?

Dan...my boy from Detroit...yikes..sucking up to Jesse and Michelle, even thought its a game it still turns my stomach. I hope he can survive and do something with his game.

April...please just go away...maybe have surgery to get your little tiny eyes widened...she always looks like she is squinting.

Steven is just too sensitive to play BB...great guy...but you just knew he wouldn't last.

Libra..my god...admit when you are wrong and stop charging around the house like a moron..she is not long for this game.

Keesha...I am beginning to really like but I can't understand why there hasn't been any bikini shots of her yet...come on BB...she's hot!

Angie is probably my fav right now, she does have a good head on her shoulders and lets hope she doesn't align with Jesse et al.

Memphis seems cool but I think the tool factor and the "mixologist" in him will implode after too long.

Ollie is actually playing it cool right now, but the showmance will be his downfall..especially with April..yuk.

Jerry needs to drop the military gear..its already tiresome, that and his Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry raspy voice as well.

Renny may have a chance in this game after all..even though she is still a little kooky.

Lets just hope for more fireworks and some damn nudity already...girls only of course.

Can you post the video of the LateLate show for those of us who go to bed early early? (or tell us where to find it?)

Thanks!

Renny-Has grown on me and is playing game below the radar. . wonderful
Steve-to nice of guy to be in such hornests nest

Please have a short HOH competition so we don't have to look a Jessie anymoe on the camera.

Posted by: deedlestexan at July 23, 2008 06:53 AM

haha..the missed F-Bomb was priceless!!

I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but I believe that Michelle talked to Libra, because she was giving everyone the evil eye!

Michelle is a total idiot! It makes no sense whatsoever for her to think she would have a target on her back for putting up Libra...

Likes and Dislikes

Like: Angie, Memphis, and Keesha

Dislikes: Jessie, Michelle, Libra, and Dan

Could care less about: April, Ollie, Jerry, Renny

I wish Brian had not been kicked out, I still think he would have been a hoot in the house!

It would take a massive miracle for Steven to be saved..I still don't understand why he was targeted, when there are so many more that deserve it!

Posted by: recelee at July 23, 2008 07:00 AM

Michelle is such an idiot!! I cant understand why she wouldnt use the POV on Dan or Steven to get out Libra! It looked like Jesse wouldve agreed to that as long as dumbass would use the POV. I really like Steven and dont want to see him go- Libra really needs to be evicted but I'm wondering if everyone is already getting too scared to mess with her...Renny has proven to me to be a bad ass at this point when last week she just seemed to annoy me- she didnt hesitate to get all up in Libras face and not back down like Jerry kinda did when Libra tried to make it look like Jerry was putting words in her mouth. What I dont understand is how Michelle even thinking her skank ass has a chance at a showmance with Jesse- who like just turned 21 or 22... Right? Gross! Maybe she isnt as old as she looks, but still c'mon. I do have a funny story though! Yesterday when I was watching my dvr'd episode of BBAD- my son walked in (15 yrs)- When he saw Renny sitting on a couch with the other HG's drinking out of a glass - he asked if the HG's maid was taking a break!!! All of the gulp of iced tea I just swallowed came rushing out through my nose instantly!

Posted by: Lisa1604 at July 23, 2008 07:19 AM

what kind of tracking system do you have that you know you actually have readers of Portuguese Princess blood? I agree you have to keep your readers happy lol

Posted by: shawn at July 23, 2008 07:35 AM

HD, I agree with everything that you said. I watched Michelle last night on BB after dark and all she did was sit at the counter picking at her nails for 2 freaking hours and at one point she was out at the lounge with Jessie letting him rub her back and neck but not for very long and she is back at clipping and messing with those stupid nails of hers. The guneia pigs in the cage last season were more exciting! I love Renny and I loved, loved loved when she put Libra in her place! She shut Libra up and the look on her face when Renny told her she better not was priceless!
I hate that Steven is going, I really like him. He seems to be a true nice guy. I can't believe how stupid Michelle was for not using the veto and having Libra put up. She would have been walking out the door. Libra is the bigger threat than Steven or Dan. It's gonna come back and bite Michelle in the butt for that! I hope that Renny or Angie wins HOH tonight. They won't listen to what the house says and they will think for themselves who to put up on the block. Let hell reign on some of the housemates if either one wins. Go girls!

Posted by: Linda at July 23, 2008 12:44 PM

OH.....don't you mean Man-chelle!

I going to miss Steven when he goes, should be Libra, she's the bigger threat.

Posted by: Taralee at July 23, 2008 01:36 PM

Ok out of curiosity I had to go back and watch last nights show. April did not drop an F bomb. she said "I don't know if I can trust her". it did kinda sound like f*ckin trust her though.
