Meet The BB10 Cast!

Yay! The Big Brother 10 page is up over at CBS!!!

There are some hamsters that seem to have what it takes and then there are some I'm not too sure about. Just watching that video I like Angie and Brian as well as a couple more. Memphis seems too cocky, Keesha's voice gets on my nerves and I'm not really sure what to think when it comes to Jerry.

All of the hamsters' bios are up right here. Go check them out and tell me what you think! I'm actually very happy about the casting this season and think there's a perfect amount of everything. I am really looking forward to this season! Much more so than the last few seasons.

Oh, and do you wanna check out this season's house? Play the video below!

Sooooo, what do you think the hamsters and the house so far? What stands out to you the most? By the way, I absolutely love the kitchen and the communal bathroom! Actually, I think I pretty much love it all!

Wow, HD, what a diverse cast this season. I'm really excited. I'm not going to pick a favorite till I get to see them on the feeds for a few days, or at least try not to, lol. I'm lovong what BB has done with the house. May just be my favorite set yet. Can't wait for the hamsters to walk thru the door!

judging by the videos, the cast looks much better than the last, i hope they wont be boring...i dont like dan already!

HD!
i totally love the house for the very first time i think. love the 50's & punk look.
i have to say at least there is some kind of age range & diversity. i am going to miss the very first show this year so i am counting on you HD :)

I am very, very tired this morning. For some crazy reason I felt the need to stay up until 12a.m. BBT to see the new web page launch and "meet" the cast.

It's nice to see a more diverse, older crowd. And there are a few that are within a few years of me.

Can't wait! I better get my rest the next few days, because starting Sunday night, I will be in extreme night owl mode!

Posted by: Stephie at July 8, 2008 08:17 AM

Thanks for the update HD. I am sooooo excited!

Posted by: Piehead at July 8, 2008 10:00 AM

Wow, it's almost here. I can hardly wait until Sunday night!

Saw the cast and the house. I'm just a little disappointed that there are so many in their late 20s in the cast but at least they are in their late 20s and not early. Hopefully, they will have some life experiences to talk about and make it interesting to watch on the feeds and BBAD. What happened to the 40 something, lol. Guess they couldn't find anyone crazy enough in their 40s to want to share in the bb craziness.

Love the house in all the different eras. It's like a flashback, lol. The fact that no one knows each other is great. No alliances formed coming into the house and no one forced together. BB2 and BB3 imop were the best to watch. Just put us on rewind, lol

Can't wait until Sunday.

So far I'm leaning towards the 75 year old Marine.
and
The 53 year old Hair Dresser

Libra the staunch Democrat could be fun too as I can see her having a fly off the handle kind of temper.

Keesha already annoys me too.
Hooters girl who thinks shes all that, and is not even hot. Kind of funny that shes proud of being a Hooters Girl... She has already said shes using sex as a weapon so she'll def have at least a showmance or 2.

Posted by: Tamara at July 8, 2008 10:48 AM

Well, first off I love the BB house! Very cool!

I'm glad to see some diversity in the cast, and think Libra and Dan will be very interesting to watch...should provide some fireworks for sure!

But I do have to say that, though I'm glad to see more than one token over-20 HG, there are still 8 of them in their 20s, out of 13; that is just simply, for me, too many! Jerry is going to have a very tough time. And where are the 40-somethings?

Can't wait until the 13th, bring it on!

Posted by: Pat at July 8, 2008 11:11 AM

Agreed that Jerry might be in for a rough ride...he will really have to find a way to make himself needed and/or wanted with the majority of the cast (like George doing the cooking on allstars), otherwise I think he'll be the first one voted off. But given that he's a diehard fan that's never missed an episode, he should be able to figure out a way to make it work and stay in the game...

I think the cast sounds great, and I am counting the hours till Sunday eve.

Posted by: Barbara at July 8, 2008 11:21 AM

Yeah - - a bit more diversity: a black male and female at the same time! Still - - only one gay guy (me thinks that the guy whose name I can't even remember since he left so early in the show and was removed from the opening credits was asked to leave last year to avoid the possibility of an on-air gay showmance) and though you have an older gal and an older guy - - they are still the minority in a sea of 20 somethings. Oh - - wouldn't a big brother with only senior citizens be amusing! ;-)

Still - - I held my breath when the cast was being announced and only when Julie said that none of the castmates knew each other, did I breathe a sigh of relief. No repeats. No fans vs. faves. No more Dr. Will, Natty or Marcellas. Phew.

And I do like the changed look of the house. And the decades theme. Too bad there aren't enough from each decade to make that the determiner for the initial bedroom assignment.

I'm off to read up on their bios and to devise my fafarazzi strategy - - - since the first picks in fafarazzi make or break it for the rest of the season!

I love the house this year! The people? I really can't say until they walk into the house. I do think the girl from new orleans and the girl from Texas will clash. we will see>> can't wait until S night!!

Posted by: Linda at July 8, 2008 01:35 PM

WE"RE BACK!!!! WOO HOO.
LOVE the house ! And most of the guests seem interesting and diverse. FINALLY.

The Hooters Dani Donato Look a Like is OUT, Been There, too many times. Maybe she will be more fun then the 1st impression.
Michelle is, Amber does Soprano's.. lol

Hi All!!! Phew! Look what happens when I don't come out to the site to visit for a couple of days? All kinds of good stuff and activity.

I felt the need to change my ID from Sleepyeye9 to Sleepyeye 10 - shedding the old and on with the new! The sleepyeye is because that is what happens to me during the season!

Love the house and the decades themes. Love the diversity of the guests - both age wise and opinions and thrilled that there are no prior connections for any of them. Haven't picked any favs or ones that need to get the boot yet. Will wait for a few shows.

Me-thinks AG got the message loud and clear that last season was not a good one as far as the fans were concerned. Hopefully, it is PB&J too!

Looking forward to the show and coming back here to chat with all the people here that I consider my BB pals. Should be another fun ride, and I appreciate all the work you do HD to make this site the fun, exciting, place for all of us.

Posted by: Sleepyeye 10 at July 8, 2008 05:20 PM

There have been some great changes made! But...I of course can find things to complain about. :-)

Seems to me all but 3 of them are in their 20's. 31 and 30 are more like 20's anyway. They could easily gang up on the older ones. And by "older", I'm even including Steven the 35yr. old gay cowboy...that's not really older. He resembles the young group far more than the older group. So...I think the show won't be affected by the older HG's as much as one might think.

I am EXTREMELY happy to see that it "appears" ALL the houseguests are in good shape, making them MUCH easier to look at than Adam and Ryan. No more compulsive eaters making us sick with gluttony, no more "Kraft Pizzas" two times a day, just as snacks. That should help our own eating habits, as it is so easy to eat along with them. It should also make the physical challenges FAR more relevant than last season, where the final HOH comps were a real joke.

You have GOT to be kidding about DAN!!! He was born for BB controversy! He will probably not last unless he sweeps these extreme opinions under the rug.

I don't even know what to say about the rest of them. The proof will be in the pudding...or the slop. I'd love to see slop replaced with PB&J, or just get rid of extreme food deprivation entirely...I'm so over that for entertainment.

Posted by: Dee H. at July 8, 2008 07:35 PM

After reading the bios and watching the interviews I really like Angie (who can guzzle a Guiness in 1.6 seconds) Brian, Jerry and Steven.

I think April, Dan, Jessie, Keesha, Libra and Renny will be entertaining, but I haven't decided if I like them or not.

I wasn't impressed at all with Memphis, Ollie or Michelle.

I can't wait for the feeds to come on. I'm giddy with anticipation! This cast really seems to have potential for a great season.

Oh, I loved the house! Especially the 70's room.

Posted by: tgreg at July 8, 2008 08:45 PM

Wow, look at all the diversity! Two people over 35! Three if you count Julie.

Posted by: EdDunkle at July 8, 2008 08:49 PM

What a day! Best friend had a huge surgery, all four kids had an hour long tutor session, and one son had to see the orthodondist! I couldn't sit my butte down to this pc until just recently, and in fact just now finished watching all of the HG's being interviewed by Diane Henry. Oh and by the way, she, Diane, is a lousy interviewer. But at this late hour I wasn't going to go surfing for someone better...
I am very excited by this cast. Not liking Memphis much, but other than that, so far everyone else at least seemed okay. Dan has a squewed view of life, but we'll run with it for now. I was a bit over opinionated last evening about Ollie, but I still don't like his crack or belief, that gays and lesbians won't go to heaven. And I'm heterosexual! But watching his interview, he didn't come off the Amber/Jameka I thought at first.
I especially liked Angie, Brian and Libra. Don't see Libra making it to the end with them babies out there, but I could be wrong! I didn't think I would like the Dani lookalike, Keesha, but she had some good things to say and not at all the whiney bitch Dani was. And didn't think I would like April either as she looks way too much like the other April of BB6, but I can't wait to see her OCD kick in. Best of luck to her. Jerry reminded me of Natalie with his 'X'/'10' factor. Not long for the show, if not the first evicted, IMO. And Renny?, should be a show in herself! Can't call anything on Michelle yet, have to wait and see..
I can't wait for the fun to begin, but here in Cleveland it is pushing 1:00 AM and I'm done...
Oh yeah, I love the diner, the bathroom and the hippie room. HOH room is benign as is the living room. See nothing much in the yard of any interest, but didn't see much of that.
As always HD, you're on top of things and I thank you..

Posted by: diff at July 8, 2008 09:49 PM

Love the house, especially the kitchen, but reserving judgement on cast til they open their mouths and give us something interesting to hear. Hopefully it won't all be "about me" like so many years..It's 2:33 am here on east coast, getting sleeping schedule adjusted for BB time..Glad to see everyone back!!

Posted by: SuzieQ at July 8, 2008 11:32 PM

Whooo hooo HD! So glad to have you back!

WTF is up with all the info on the hamsters' families? This must be the big twist, as I've never seen family and politics mentioned so prominently in every single bio.

CAN. NOT. WAIT!

My initial impressions?
Renny - 53?! Are you kidding me? She looks like a young Ashley Simpson to me.

Ollie and Dan ought to be best buddies as they judge all the sinners, like April, who lists having sex as one of her favorite hobbies.

They are going to eat Jerry alive.

And finally, Jessie. WTF? He wants to be VP so he can enjoy the perks without all the work. And his favorite activity is communicating with people whose life he has changed?? Looks like one smug jerk to me.

The Great State of Texas certainly is represented this time around.

Can't wait for Sunday and all the fun to ensue!

Posted by: StephanieG at July 9, 2008 04:39 AM

I haven't had a chance to read the Bio's yet, and just watched the house tour (with no sound so I don't get busted at work LOL) and it looks really great this season. I love the look of the kitchen and the outdoorsy bathroom LOL

I can't wait for Sunday!!!!!!! Although I am still upset that they stayed with the Tue/Wed/Sun time slots this season!

Posted by: Jacque at July 9, 2008 03:34 PM

Wouldn't it be fun if the candidates (McCain, Obama) visited the house? Throw Hillary in for good measure, just to irritate Dan! ;-)

From HD - Fun? Uh, no!!! LMAO!!! Interesting? Perhaps.

Posted by: Coleen with one "L" at July 9, 2008 06:51 PM

Hi, "Ollie" (his name is Bryan Ollie) is one of my best friends from HS and was in my wedding. Great great guy, who you will all love. By far the most charming guy you'll ever meet. It's pretty obvious they are going to play up the "preacher's son" angle, but the guy is far from like that. He's actually not judgmental at all. They're just playing it up. He played football at Iowa State from 1999-2003.

From HD - Very cool! But why is he wearing that stupid hat in his picture? Please tell me he doesn't wear those kinds of hats all the time. LOL!

well, my my my, don't we have an interesting cast, we will see, we will see. As for the interviews and introductions, I'm not falling for it, some people seem so awesome and then one day in I'm gagging and staring wide eyed in disbelief. I have seen to many times people I like in the beginning, just to be yelling and screaming at them to get off the show. Well, come this Sunday, we will be watching them make their first impressions. And grim my experience, most people are usually lying or trying to impress , mmmhmmm, I can't wait to pick these people apart like an over cooked chicken!, but do not fear, you will show your true colors as the reality camera never lies!!! We see all. See you sunday, piggies. And a shout out to HD, love you long time, and a big hello to my fellow BB fans, very wonderful to see you all, can't wait to call you crazy and beg to differ a whole new season!!!

Posted by: Grog at July 10, 2008 09:59 PM

I'm thinking one little piggie is going to be different than the rest. I've seen pics of them in the pool, and Memphis is downright pudgy! I guess they're not ALL in shape after all. He's got the man-boobs goin on! When I first saw him in the pool, I thought he was BB9 Ryan! I don't think that I will like Memphis...I mean, I could be wrong, but one thing I do know. I do NOT want to have to watch an omnivorous pudgy dude just getting pudgier for the next 3 months like the last couple weeks of BB9. Guess I'm judgemental, but I had enough Pillsbury Doughboys(Adam & Ryan) the entire last season. If I have to look at em for 3 months, I'd rather have something decent to look at. And Memphis personality is NOT going to make up for his flab! Not even close.

im very excited about this season, being a texas gal and all. i will wait unitl sunday night to make my decision on whom i like or not, but i believe everyone goes to heaven.:)and i love hilary clinton.

Posted by: alau53 at July 12, 2008 06:04 PM

There is something about Renny that just does not sit right, the voice the hair, I know she says she is married and has a couple of kids but I just get his feeling that she is really a guy!
