Jessie 'The Body' Wins HOH
Wow! What a show tonight! Let me just say first that the live studio audience was cool but it sucked that nobody had signs. I'm sure it was because they were told that they couldn't but come on! Spice it up a little bit CBS!
It was no shocker that Brian was voted out tonight by a vote of 9-1. I really really wish there had been a way that the votes could have swung the other way but it just wasn't in the cards for him. They may have found him funny but they also found him to be too big of a threat to their own standing in the house. At least Brian seemed humble and realistic about things. He made no bones about how he should have played the game differently and went out very respectfully.
What did you think about Ollie calling Julie 'Little Momma'? I thought that was in poor taste and I don't believe he made a friend out of Julie either. Dan calling her 'Mrs. Chen' was weird as well. Wouldn't 'Ms. Chen' have been the correct thing to say? Perhaps Dan was just nervous. Or perhaps he believes she's married to Les Chen. Who knows?
I loved how they showed the sock puppet presentation on the show tonight. I'm sure many in the audience were laughing their collective asses off if they hadn't seen it before. Heck, I'd seen it before -- many times -- and I was laughing my ass off.
I'm sure the producers loved that April and Keesha had their little fight last night. If they hadn't, what would they have filled the time with? Even more of Ollie and April swapping spit and canoodling in bed? Just say no to showmances!
I'm not sure how I feel about Jessie becoming the new Head of Household. I thought it sucked that Memphis was the first one out. What happened to all that intellect Brian mentioned earlier? Or did Memphis throw it on purpose? Speaking of throwing things, I'm almost positive that Ollie threw it in the tie-breaker question. Let's think about it. Julie asked them to try and guess how many pillows were on the giant bed.
The correct answer was 300. Libra said 147, Steven said 124, Jessie said 200, and Ollie said 550. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Ollie threw it. But did Steven throw it as well? What about Libra? Were they horrible guessers or just too afraid to be the new HOH?
What do you think? And what did you think about our first live show of the season? Did you enjoy the live studio audience? Were you glad they did the live voting? Did my liveblogging go OK for you tonight? Was there something you didn't like about it? Spill your guts in the comments!

You know HD....
Im a BB fan of all fans. Since Season 1, (I even met Eddie and Brittany in my mall just shopping around)...im not as thrilled anymore. Usually im very excited..have the feeds ..but I just feel like its the same old same old.
BB cant come up with any new head of household comps anymore? Thou I was impressed with the honey comp..Also..the girls mouths are disgusting..They swear more than the guys. I think BB should not allow smoking and cursing..
I dont know HD...get me out of bad BB mood!!!
Posted by: Deb at July 16, 2008 06:20 PM
Thought Ollie was out of line also...guess he was trying to be cute but it didn't work..don't like Jessie being HOH because I would like to see him out next. All's well in the BB house and looking forward to the show for a change..

Ugh. *rolls eyes at Deb's comments*
Am I the only one who likes Jessie? I don't know what it is that I like about him, but he's one of my favorites. His head looks like it's been squished though.

On the west coast so I haven't seen the show yet, but I LOVE the new live blogging feature. It was awesome!!
From HD - Glad you liked it! :)

Oh yes! this one is good. Like the ending with the audience, but I am with you HD, signs would make it more interesting. I did not quite get what Olly said to Julie Chen, but since it has been posted, agree, it was inappropriate and good grief, calling the lady Mrs. Chen. Oh well, perhaps they were all just a bit nervous. Hey I like Jessie, but I agree, his head is a little small. Jerry is my guy...hope he goes a long way.
Posted by: tiger59 at July 16, 2008 06:39 PM
OK.....I am so glad to see people this season that have actual careers and sense, and some even with life experience!
I was so glad to see Brian go because he was just to arrogant, and was glad to see it was the girls who figured it all out. But, the downside was that Jessie won POV and stayed and then won HOH. I really want him gone.....what an immature little twit! When he tore his shirt open after his 1st win I wanted to throw up. Newsflash, Jesse......women are more impressed with brains than braun. You are way too into yourself. I, for one, am not impressed.
I love Jerry and hope he stays till the end.

I was not happy to see Jessie win HOH. He's going to use it to "get even" for last week - I'm almost certain he will nominate Renny and Jerry for eviction. I wish he'd use this chance to get out some of the more annoying players (i.e. Libra and April), but I don't think he's enough of a player to think that far ahead. Which will be why he won't be long in this house. But I could be wrong.

HD - you saved me tonight!!! I have to get a couple of new components for my electronics (DVD/Blueray - which spilled over to new reciever system)... I send my brother to do my shopping for me, cause he likes to do that - anyway long story short - he kept calling me for specs during the show. I missed practically the whole thing!!! I know he was doing me a favor but the timing sucked.
I am so glad I could catch up on the show at your sight after we finally got things settled, I had totally missed the eviction notice and the HOH comp. Jesse won???? Who'd thunk it.
I actually kind of like him, but he looks funny with such a tiny head on a bigger body - totally out of sinc. Hopefully he will think about who he put on the block and not just go for the revenge card.
There are already a few houseguests who need to come down a step or two.
Good to see Verity is back on along with Joy in WI, Gregor, Coleen with one "L" Diff, Sandic, BenF and on and on. Grog and Toots have stopped in, but are pretty quiet. I too want to know where IS GRAY????
Thanks HD and the gang. Hopefully next week I can enjoy the live blog. I am just going to have to explain the facts of life to my Brother - no interruptions during BB!!!! And he is my Big Brother, you'd think he'd know.

Loved the live blog.... Was sad to see the telephone booths so soon... I really thought Libra would win HOH and I think Ollie just threw out a guess because all he has been about is April... I was surprised about the vote tho, I thought for sure Renny would get more votes but I guess there is always next week.lol I hate that Jessie got HOH because I want this man gone, but at least he covered up for the live show....
Keep up the great work HD... I always check you r
blog first every morning and afternoon plus enjoy chatting with you...

I didn't want to see Brian leave so soon, even more disappointed that Jessie won HOH.
Posted by: Jeremy at July 16, 2008 07:16 PM
Loved the show tonight. It's always a good show when the person you want out goes out. Man I wish Ollie could have gotten HOH. His profile may say Minn, but he is originally from central Iowa near where I live and wanted to see what his HOH room would look like and if they would have pics of him related to his time playing football at ISU. My guess would have been 350. Based on a BBAD conversation between Jessie and Memphis my guess for Jessie's noms are Steven and Dan. Those two are the next ones out list.
Posted by: Scott at July 16, 2008 07:18 PM
All in all I think it was a great show, BB10 has been the best thus far then it has been for the last couple of years.
I think Jessie is disrespectful and seems to have problems with older people. How many times did Renny have to say she was sorry and he still wasn't satisfied. His response to Julie was unwarranted but I loved Renny's comeback.
Ollie (and so far I like him) probably thought his little momma comment was cute but it was so out of line and tacky and disrespectful. Dan's Mrs. Chen was just as bad because we know in actuality she's not Mrs. Chen. I'm sure the producers will get this straight and it will not happen again.
I don't know how I feel about Jessie winning HOH I just hope he won't be a big punk and put up Renny because of that one incident.
By the way I guessed 300 pillows I would have been HOH and right on the money. Whoohoo!
Posted by: Cerenay at July 16, 2008 07:33 PM
I'm looking forward to seeing the live audiences, although I doubt they'll be as exciting as the ones in the UK. I'm glad Brian is out, though I wouldn't have minded if Memphis had gotten put up and evicted. Brian was just working it too much, too early.
Posted by: sandic at July 16, 2008 07:34 PM
So sad to see Brian go. As he went, so did any eye candy for me to look at, as went his wonderful humor. Can't see this crew cracking me up without him.
Very surprised that Angie and Steven bailed on Brian. No balls and will be floaters the rest of the way and go which ever way the wind blows. Too bad for them as Libra will eat them alive if she gets her way!
Big ups in my book to Dan. Maybe it's the Catholic in me, but he stood by his word and I liked him for that. I think he also knew they would be gunning for him no matter what he did, so he didn't let his students, Brian, himself and me down for the sake of threats.
Jessie as HOH. Shall I vomit now or wait for his already huge ego to get any bigger? Michelle will be all over this and hanging on his every word. Ollie the poor sap that he is, doesn't realize that last night Memphis and Jessies hit list was, Dan, Steven, Ollie and Jerry. I don't think Ollie threw the HOH, I think he is just dumb. IMHO every move he has made so far is stupid. Libra may have thrown it.
Loved the new blog and the polls. Always thinking HD!!
Told you Sleepyeye10, I think GRAY is JERRY!! Waiting for Jerry to start arguing and we'll know for sure!!
I want to know where ClayPo is? Haven't heard much out of him. Always a laugh!
Hope the Arnold wannabe puts up Jerry and Ollie.

Wow I just got the chance to watch the show... It didn't surprise me to see how the voting went. Brian dug his own grave and he knew it. He told all of them not to vote for him to save them from the turd herd.
Dan's loyalty is noted, but he had nothing to lose and everything to gain by showing he is good for his word.
Jessie winning HoH was not good for several reasons. However, since Memphis has his trust, they may try to go for Libra and April because those girls have proven themselves to be the biggest threat right now. I hope Memphis will realize that and put a bug in Jessie's miniature ears. Jessie may not like Renny but there are much bigger fish to fry now and removing Libra is in the best interest of all the men there.
Posted by: Gregor at July 16, 2008 08:19 PM
Diff, you are prolly just playing about Gray being Jerry but I am pretty sure he's not. Didn't Gray only post last season (BB9)? At least, I am remembering he said he'd never watched before and gave his wife grief about watching -- but that somehow he got hooked last season anyway. And Jerry says he's been a big fan since the first season and has never missed an episode.
HD I really don't think Memphis threw the competition. To me a competition like that one is so arbitrary that anyone can win or lose.
I hope that Jesse puts up Ollie and April (and for the record, April's fallen to the bottom of my list after her acting class dramatics with Keesha) but I fear that April and Libra will make him put up Angie for sure, and then either Dan or Steven. So I will hope that the Big Easy Squawker will fray his last nerve by nomination day. Something tells me that Le Squawk's lowered "monocromatic" (was that the word she used?) level isn't going to last long.
Samantha, I don't dislike Jessie (BenF hears hisses and boos) -- the verdict is still out -- but i can't stop thinking he sort of reminds me of an out of proportion yet slightly better looking blow-up doll of Eric Stein from last season. Can you imagine if Jessie had been this year's America's Player? Crikey!
Posted by: BenF at July 16, 2008 08:32 PM
Diff,
Ya just might be right about Gray being Jerry - wouldn't that be a kick? :) So true, the key will be arguing because Gray just can't help himself! But that is what makes him a fun addition here. Always putting his 2, 4, 8, 20 cents worth in!
Agree Gregor, Jessie has to think about the bigger fish in that pond, not revenge.
Posted by: Sleepyeye10 at July 16, 2008 08:47 PM
BenF, Just joking. Gray argued so much that if you said something was black, he'd make it white to have something to argue about. But I did love his posts. Just reminded me of an older gentlemen sitting around secretly hooked on BB behind his wifes back and jumping on the pc when she wasn't looking. Where are you Gray?
Blow-up Eric doll, I love it!! I do dislike Jessie. He hasn't shut up about his sad body since he walked in the door. Hell, he was going at it in the interviews. He was miscast and should have been on BB9.
Great to see/hear everyone here. Brians gone, so ya'll will have to keep me laughing. And you sure do. I'm still laughing about Renny being Baby Jane and a bag lady!! Ya'll crack me up!

Good Evening! This isn't about tonight's program, but something about HG after the program. Dan was showing Steven a Bible and it seemed like one I'd love to read. Did anyone hear the name of it?? Did you, by chance, HG???
Thanks!! Going to be an interesting week, don't you think?? Where was Jerry after the program. Can't seem to find him.
Posted by: lynn0538 at July 16, 2008 09:09 PM
diff we should find out later if Jerry is Gray, his HOH blog will post soon and I am sure he will have something to say to HD if it is him don't ya think :-)
Posted by: Dianna at July 16, 2008 09:59 PM
Why are people happy for a live audience? The only thing I see it doing is making the ousted HG more nervous than in the past.
Posted by: Shamrock at July 17, 2008 01:18 AM
Thanks for the shout out, Sleepyeye10 (formerly Sleepyeye9!) Y'know - - it really is good to be back! I missed y'all - - and I'm looking forward to meeting even more friends as this season progresses. Most of my friends don't watch BB so this is really my only outlet to hash strategy and discuss the nuances of the show.
Live Audience was largely disappointing. In essence, they were only a clapping, shouting, background prop. They didn't get to talk, vote or make any choices affecting the houseguests. I was waiting to see how this live audience thing played out before signing up for tickets. Now I won't bother - - it's not worth the two hour drive up and back to LA. I'd be better off going to see Price is Right. At least there I stand a chance of winning a prize!
From a strategy standpoint, it made more sense to get rid of Brian. Those of you who know me know I'm all about the strategy. He had more of a capability of making friends than Renny did/does. She's too wacky to really know that (1) she'll keep a confidence; (2) she'll keep her word.
Brian got why he was evicted. He played 3 weeks of strategy in one (his words - - I think he played almost a season of strategy). And I think it's because he wasn't really a true fan. He started watching when he was chosen and probably not all the boring, ho-hum moments, but browsed through the you tube postings which highlight all the alliance making and drama. He missed the fact that there is a lot of down time and that there is a natural crescendo in the game.
I think Jerry played it as best as he could while HOH. I don't really think he has a target as a result. He was merely the "voice" of the people, yet he didn't come off as a puppet. He didn't hold back in expressing his lack of trust for the group and how he felt that their ganging him was threatening. But I doubt that he would've broken a tie in favor of Brian, as Brian seemed to think. Jerry was just as disillusioned in Brian and his empty promises as the rest claimed to be.
Jessie - I don't think that he will handle HOH as smoothly as did Jerry. He is also not a BB fan. Renny kept lots of guests up that night, but he was the only one who called her out on it. He either forgot she apologized, or lied about it, but for no real purpose, since no one except for him seemed to care one way or the other. Everyone else was just as happy to let the conflict fester and keep the spotlight off themselves. Since there is no love lost between him and Renny, he should put her up for eviction. But that still leaves one nomination. Unless he plays it off as though the other houseguest is a pawn, he's gonna start making some enemies. His lack of understanding for the nuances of the game lead me to believe he'll dig himself a bigger grave this week. Without the opportunity to win the following week, he'll be an easy nomination for the incoming HOH.
Expect the unexpected. And the return of one of the earlier evicted houseguests is, by now, almost expected. It has always happened before. So - - maybe they'll surprise us all and NOT bring back any evictee. Still - - that middle frame on the wall is just screaming for a photo to be inserted -- suggesting that someone new and different might be added down the road . . . ?
I was also disappointed to see the Telephone Booths. "Production" should be all about "imagination" and this format is SO BORING and PREDICTIBLE. It's like counting the ceiling tiles when having sex . . . only you're in a telephone booth, and you have to write the number of ceiling tiles on a chalkboard, without going over.
I would like to see BB mete out punishments to the houseguests. How about seclusion for a houseguest who breaks production rules (i.e. talking about Diary room, or singing). Like a time-out. No one else can talk to them. Or maybe they have to wake up earlier and stay up later? Or maybe they have to sleep in a tent outside? Something that will make them grouchy. When some of the houseguests are grouchy, there is more drama. It's a win-win.
Now - -I'm off to keep scanning the past archives of Silly Hamsters to see if Jerry really is Gray. After 10 seasons, it's about time that one of the regulars made it into the house. I'd do it myself if I didn't have a 7 year-old who I would miss too much to last past the first eviction. Don't know how Libra is doing it. You can never underestimate the bonding that takes place in infancy and to give up 10 weeks of that for a "chance" to win money? Nope. If the show is still on when my son goes to college, I'll be ringing the BB doorbell . . . until that time . . . I'll have to content myself with being an armchair houseguest.
HamsterDame: You rock. I only have a few vices. Sweet tea (and now McDonald's carries it!), the Week Magazine, and my BB addiction. And you satisfy my cravings for the dirt, the strategy, the laughs, the cheers and the cries, and you wrap it all up in an enduring virtual community. You should be on CBS' payroll - - without this site, I'm not sure I would follow the show as avidly. Didn't do the live blog tonight because I wanted to be surprised when I watched it on TV here in San Diego. But I know my will-to-resist will crack in later weeks. Thanks for being there!

BenF, diff, Diana, Sleepeye10, et.al. - scrolled through the posts from last season and Gray said he didn't subscribe to the live feeds. So that rules him out as Jerry. He also commented, when HD asked us if we could see ourselves on BB,
"I am not particularly shy, but I would find it a little disconcerting to have a camera focused in on me, being viewed by who-knows-who in some control room, while I am perched atop the porcelain throne. If anybody wants to watch me take a dump, they need to do it in person."
It's not "sounding" like Jerry after all. Oh well. Maybe his angst over Chelsia and James ruined him for future seasons?
Posted by: Coleen with one "L" at July 17, 2008 02:03 AM
I really don't like the alliances that are forming. One group sits around and mopes, and the other group sits around and talks sh*t about the first group (nazi tactics--dehumanization). They'd gotten rid of the only person in the house with any real smarts and was truly a threat to them. They were runnin' on fear. Brian's problem was he was too gung ho, his timing was off and humility wasn't his best suit. Now, the sh*t talkers are going after anyone who had anything to do with Brian plus a few personal vendettas. Jessie vs Remmy, Libra vs Steven, April vs Keesha, and for some reason Memphis vs Steven. I really haven't seen enough of Steven to form an opinion on him, but he's sure got alot of enemies in the house, he must be running around giving everyone wedgies or something. I think we might be dealing with a few "phobes" and the sheep that follow them. Jerry is wise in his age and experience, but he's also set in his ways, venturesome enough to attempt Big Brother, but he'll have problems later trying to keep the respect he enjoys now from his youngers. They'll step right over the Colonel. He's still an OLD man to them. I look forward to hearing his stories, but not to watch his alliances. He should take a lesson from Adam (A-baller) in BB9, DON'T COMMIT!!! Michelle is a big phoney, She literally gets into your face and portrays a sympathetic shoulder to cry on, and then turns around talks sh*t about you, because you pushed her out of your personal space. HD, Libra is smug as you said, the perfect description of her attitude. Any second I expect her do a snake and snap her fingers, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm. Stereotypical, I know. Ollie's a backstabber and an uncouthe bloak. Ask Julie. Keesha is right to keep him away from her presence. And then there's Dan. He's not what I expected. I think he belongs in seminary school, rather than on Big Brother. They're gonna eat him alive. I reserve judgement on Memphis, he's a little hard to read. Jessie really likes himself. And Angie is too sensitive.
I'm waiting for the astrological profiles of the hamsters' to be made available BB Astrocenter, I love comparing my estimates of their personality to the actual birth data. I know enough astrology to be dangerous...
So, what do I think of the shows so far? I think the shows have been outstanding. But, I did hate to see the life of the party leave so soon. He was gracious, though, in leaving.
HD, I'm happy you're back. You are a delight. Judging from your preferences now and in the past you and I think alot alike. Though, you're a lot better puttin' it in print than I. I love the live blogging, but I live on the west coast and we view CBS an hour later than you. So, I haven't decided whether to read your live blog, first, or watch the show when it's broadcast where I live, taped. And then, read your blog. Sometimes I don't like spoilers.
Thank you.

i have to say that i dont think that anybody is afraid to become the hoh it has too much power. especially for the people playing the tie breaker question. i do believe that all of then started alliences right off the bat not just brian, he is just the one that got cought. they should be made to just chill out for a couple of days before anything starts happeneing. they focus to much on the alliences and there game to early in the game.

Dear Allison Grodner,
We know you usually wait until late in the season to bring out the luxury competition with new clothes.
We'd like to ask you to do it early this season. If Jessie keeps winning like this, he's gonna rip up all the shirts he brought with him and have to be nekked on the TV.
Thanks for your consideration,
Hamster fans

Sad to see Brian go, he made for some good entertainment.
Jesse was not really who I was pulling for to become new HOH. Speaking of Jesse, what is going to happen to him when he gets put on slop? As many extra meals as I have seen him put away, he will be in real trouble when he can only eat slop. My first thought was he will put up Jerry (since Jerry put him up) and Rennie (due to their ongoing issue) but as of last nights BBAD that doesn't look to be the case.
So far, we are off to a great season. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
Thanks HD for the great work.

I, for one, am impressed - Love BB10 as it gets back to the BB's I remember - and I have watched all of them. Love the idea of all the guests not knowing each other, not being related......etc. Although I must admit I am a little upset that there were not a few more 'oldies' in the house - guess I should be happy - BB gave us two! lol. Hated to see Brian go - I think he would have made the house more fun during the coming weeks - however he opened mouth, inserted foot and should have known better. Jessie as HOH - give me a break. The guy loves himself so much he may not see 'the big picture'.....rofl

Where did they find these women!!?! I can't stand them with the exception of Angie. April is so far out into left field that I can't stand listening to her ... or Libra ... or Michele ... the jury is still out on Keesha though. I hate that Jessie won HOH. Not that I necessarily don't like him just that there is no way he will be nominating any of the annoying "witches". Poor Bryan. He played way too hard way too fast but at least he played! I am hoping there is some way that Dan, Steven, and Angie can survive this week but I don't see it happening. "Good" people vs so called evil people yet again, though where they get Dan is evil is beyond me. Memphis (who I surprisingly like) for sure threw the HOH. Why win it and put a target on himself when he was safe no matter who won it this week. Also I bet Ollie's preacher father was super proud that his son would switch religion for a piece of ... you know what. Way to make the family and church proud there Ollie!
Posted by: dora at July 17, 2008 06:38 AM
This is the first time Ive popped in on this site since BB10 started, and I am SO suprised that Brian doesn't have more love! Now, I'm not saying he's my favorite, don't get me wrong. But after watching (mind-numbing) BB9, I thought for sure everyone would be stoked about a player like Brian. (In the beginning) Brian came across as smart, he knew the game, he's hot, and he wasn't afraid to go ahead and do what he was in the house to do. Now, I agree, his ego got the best of him and he was waaay to overzealous about making deals with everyone right away--BUT he had the right idea.
What suprised me too, is that Brian never came to the girls and those that thought he was trying to "mind control" them, and REMIND them that Memphis and Jesse are THEIR biggest threat TOO! As long as these boys remain in the house, those cats can forget about winning any psysical competitions.
So now that HE-MAN is HOH (did anyone notice, at the veto comp. Jesse's color was green..hehe HULK reference, perhaps? haha!) I think Renny and Jerry should be worried. He won't make any intelligent gameplay. The guy couldn't find his ass with both hands. :)
Just my thoughts. Thanks for the outlet, HD. :)
Posted by: Stacey T at July 17, 2008 07:38 AM
I hope Brian is right when he said he hopes the others in the house recognize Dan's loyalty and that raises his stock in the house.
The smart people in the house should latch onto Dan.
Dan has proven himself to be very loyal,
And now he has no one, so he'd be receptive to alliances, and someone who would have your back.
I think putting up Ollie and April this week would be a smart move.
Its become apparent they (kind of) are a couple, and also its become apparent that Ollie will betray anyone just to get with April.
April is playing it cool like shes "playing" Ollie but we all remember how hurt she got when she first found out Ollie was in the alliance with Brian/Dan.
She was like "I thought we had something...."
So I dont buy it when April says shes only playing Ollie, she really likes him.
THEN if April or Ollie win POV, Libra can go up as a backdoor.
This way April will lose her alliance regardless or who goes home (Ollie or Libra), or April will go home.
That is the smartest move Jessie can make at this point in the game.
If he puts Renny up, hes a moron.
If he puts up Dan he's also a moron (for my reasons above)
And yes, Jessie does look ridiculous wearing those cut off sleeve T shirts.
That muscle head look sooooo unattractive to most women.
Oh and I buy Jessie's "I dont want my physique to make me a target so I am going to downplay it in the house" as much as I buy April "only playing" Ollie.

HD - this is not a comment about the show, but about your blogs. You are hilarious! I love to read them as soon as they come out because you crack me up without fail. I have been coming to this website for the past few years and it is definitely my favorite. You always have a unique way of summing up the shows and phrasing your opinions in a way that is very intertaining. Keep up the good work.
PS - I hope you're getting paid for this! :)

Not again please!! I had Breadtruck's butt crack taking up the screen last season and now it's Jessie's shirtless body doing the same. Maybe because I don't like him it's more irritating than usual..still want to see him go..so tired of his wanting to get rid of Renny..there's more to be afraid of in the competition..Please have him go on slop and give him something else to bitch about..enough of this rant..glad to see most everyone back..THANKS, HD, for the best site ever.

I would have won that tiebreak....I thought there were 40 pillows for each person in that game, and 40 x 6= 240 (Though just doing an even number is odd- they should have made it 43 or 46 each and not 50)...
I think there's a lot we missed the first week to solidify the alliance....it's still early, since there are too many people in this group. Plus I think Angie can get herself in with part of the group to splinter it....

Coleen said: "Brian got why he was evicted."
That paragraph is spot on. Even he saw it. It's also exactly what was wrong with Kail's game. Kail admitted to never watching the feeds, so all she saw was the edited TV show. She never knew how to tell stories about home, or that people did things other than scheme and plot.
This game calls for a balance, but sometimes that scale is hard to read. If one goes too fast too soon, they'll be tossed like Brian. If one believes no one else is really plotting, they'll get run over by the stampede.

Hey Shamrock - - you rock, too! I'm really rooting for a genuine fan to win this time - - and prove that these here-today-gone-tomorrow contestants can't hold a candle to the tried-and-true fan (like us!)

Julie Chen is a married woman so weather she uses her husband's name or not she is still a Mrs. Not a Ms. And what Ollie said was not in poor taste it is a part of who he is. I am so glad Brian is gone next I hope for Dan then Angie then Memphis I am not sure after that but I do hope April stays in for a while.
From HD - The title Ms. can be used in place of either Mrs. or Miss.

I am sorry but I have to disagree, I think if the live audience had signs it would have looked very very very tacky. and to Dora you posted you dont know how dan got put on the evil side well I will tell you what I think, 1, He is to cocky and he thinks he is better then everyone else. 2, He thinks that woman are benieth men and that woman should never be in power. Now dont get me wrong I am not one of those crazy feminist but come on this is 2008 get a grip Dan.

OK HD I will give you that but it doesnt mean Mrs was wrong she is married.
From HD - Yeah, but she isn't Mrs. Chen. Her husband's last name is Moonves. The correct way to have addressed her in that situation would have been to either call her Julie or Ms. Chen.
