From HD - The most interesting thing I heard was when Dick said that him and Daniele received their prize winning checks via DHL. DHL just dropped the checks on the doorstop and that was that. No signature no nothing.

From HD - It doesn't surprise me. Those vociferous fans of Janelle always work themselves out of the woodwork when her name is mentioned. It's bad enough they're still following her around all over the internet awaiting her every word but it's even worse when they don't have a grasp on the English language. So I just couldn't pass on posting that comment and responding to it. Talk about getting a life? Perhaps they should get one themselves and learn some reading comprehension skills. Oh. My. God. How can you confuse a "fame whore" with a "whore"? And that was directed at both of them. If you ask me (and no one did), Janelle was the lesser of two evils - she tried to keep things on track, but she's no Gretchen. I think Gretchen is underappreciated. She does a pretty good job of controling ED on HC, but she still struggles sometimes. Janelle has no experience that I know of (I'm sure someone will look it up) in dealing with a drooling, horny ED. I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did, honestly! LOL!!

I had no intention of getting back at this pc until BB10, but as I am/was a Janie fan, I had forgotten about her on the feeds tonight. So here I fire them up again and what to my surprise do I find but an hour of pure shit! Both of these two were worse than watching Bevis & Buttehead! Not a coherient word between the two.
I have watched ED on house calls and he has done nothing the entire season but go on and on about 'me', 'myself' and 'I'. Why I thought he would be any different tonight is beyond reason? And this is the first time I am ill at ease to call myself a Janie fan. I think her 15 minutes is just about up.
But as I did however attend college and understand the English language, I knew right off what a 'fame whore' is? Believe I would have known that if I had dropped out of high school! Patricia on the other hand has many a gonad to post such crap. But as well educated as she must be, nice to see her cruising a sight about BB instead of being out amoung the people whom have lives? Whats up Pat, that you had to lower yourself to come to sillyhamsters? No date tonight? No hubby to curl up with? No life? I would bet my ovaries, this isn't the only sight you've been on tonight.

Well, before I read your blog, I was disappointed because I had to work when they had their chat. Now I don't feel so bad. As for Dick and Janelle: They are the only two people who I was really rooting for the first part of their season, and was really rooting against the last part. (I didn't get the feeds until All Stars.) What makes it worse, is how polarized everybody gets when discussing them. Because I rooted for Dani in All Stars, and Zach in season 8, that makes me a stupid person, who has no sense, what's wrong with me, can't I see that they are sooo perfect, and on and on. People would ignore me in chat if I ventured an actual opinion. I mean, seriously, it's just a game. Even though I was rooting for Natalie, that doesn't mean that I didn't think that HD was absolutely an awesome woman for keeping us updating, and giving us a place to write.

I just want to thank you again, HD, for being there, and especially for your live blogging. For some reason, when I get home from work (around 8), I really need a nap. Lots of times, you've cued me into what was happening, when I just couldn't stay awake through the show. (It's funny, but that never happens during Survivor.) I hope you continue to blog next summer. I don't know if I'll have the feeds, but like diff said, mine are paid for until july, so who knows.

And I want to thank diff, for understanding that we all have our own opinions sometimes. I feel that diff has taken on a lot of hard work with the disabled children. The developmentally disabled children I have worked with have been some of the nicest kids I have ever met. But their parents and foster parents have all been immensely caring individuals. Keep up the good work, and keep the love going. :)

As I watch BBAD, it seems as if Adam might be for real about contributing some of his winnings to a children's charity. I certainly hope so. I hope after all that has been said and done he will be made accountable. It is hilarious to watch him practice his speech!!

I missed the chat but I didn't really have any intention of watching it. I loved Janelle in her season, liked her in all-stars, but now she is in reality star history. I liked Dick in the beginning of his season but I couldn't stand Daniele from day one. I watch Housecalls faithfully and while I like ED more now then I did last year it really is all about him. I will probably be attacked for this but in my opinion (and this is the only conspiracy theory I buy into!) he only won because of Eric and the America's Player thing. I know a lot of people didn't like Eric, called him a liar and whatever but what I didn't get is why. WE TOLD HIM TO LIE AND BE SNEAKY!!!! No one else could have done it and there is no way Dick would have won without him. Dick did NOT turn the game around and have Dustin evicted ... Eric did as per our orders. Eric on Reality Remix is insightful about the show and has an awesome grasp of people's strategies. He really should be the one doing Housecalls and internet chats about the show.

Dora, I most definitely was NEVER a Dick fan. I am afraid to tell you who Mrs. gray and I wanted to win BB8, as I will probably be flamed, and HamsterDame (long 'A' as Humphrey Bogart used to say it) will eventually get mad at me for arguing with the Jameka haters. Oops, I let that slip, but since it is so late in the season maybe they will stay in the woodwork, and I really don't have anything to worry about.

I too thought that it was a little unseemly for Eric to be bashing some of the current houseguests so savagely, but in the case of Shelia, at least, I really enjoyed it. That woman makes every square inch of my flesh crawl.

OMG...After reading the comments regarding last nights disappointing chat with Dick and Janie..I am not sorry that I missed it! I will not verbalize my feelings toward either of them but just say that I along with most feel that their 15 minutes of Fame has lasted long enough!

We, the regular posters and readers of this site, are very protective of HD and I for one hope to never see another post from you unless it's a sincere apology to HD! None of us expect to agree all of the time and have great respect for EVERYONE'S opinion! On their seasons they could be entertaining. But neither of them ever did well in an interview. I cringe at the memory of Janelle's interviews with Julie.
BB never seems to have any real format for these things either. Hey, put on a camera and just let them drink and talk.
ok. so during a season where they are on 24/7 you might be able to piece together an interesting 60 minutes. Maybe.

As for the Patricia's in this world, we all have a life. It includes be a part of Hasterdame's community. Why should going to a bar nightly drinking until you puke and being unable to clearly remember everyhthing that happened the previous evening be considered "a life" and sharing a common interest in an interesting dialoge "not having a life"? Grr, that comment really irks me. It's almost as annoying as the fact that the person slinging it around obviously also spends time visiting these sites and so must feel that they personally don't have "a life". Hmm now that I think of it that is kind of sad. Poor Patricia, going around thinking she has no life...

Regarding the chat ED/Janelle.. I expected more from the chat other then them fawning over one another most of the time. It was boring.

Anyone else think Adam might have had autism? He has this way about him that possibly indicates this with the way he handles himself. Autistic children are extremely intelligent... sort of gifted in a way. Adam could have these tendencies that is why he talks about the foundation so much.
