Flour Power

Yet another prank on Sheila! Except she didn't exactly laugh at this one.

Oh, poor Shelia... I don't think that I could laugh with flour up my nose. How did Natalie miss getting it on her?

Posted by: Shirly at March 29, 2008 02:45 PM

I fail to see how this prank is funny.

Posted by: oswald at March 29, 2008 02:54 PM

Its not funny! Its stupid and immature. Let's see James to this kind of thing to a MAN.

Posted by: Josh at March 29, 2008 03:33 PM

ok I missed it, what was James's prank and how did everyone react???

Posted by: Angie at March 29, 2008 03:41 PM

Come on James, don't be going crazy like Chelsea did. I don't blame Sheila for not laughing. I would have gone ballistic on him (maybe she did). I don't have the live feeds. I'm still wishing he wins the whole thing.

Posted by: almost70 at March 29, 2008 03:47 PM

Unbelievable! I cannot believe that BB is going to allow this. James is childish. I hope he gets in trouble by BB.

Posted by: Ryan at March 29, 2008 03:52 PM

The producers let ED get away with throwing the iced tea on Jen, so this sort of thing can just be expected from now on. Women players will just have to get used to men throwing stuff on them.

Posted by: gray at March 29, 2008 03:56 PM

I personally can't stand James, and this just proves why he should NOT win BB9! Your last post you had 113 people comment on how happy they were that James won POV, are they still happy?! He should be back doored just like his personality!

that woman makes me crazy!!!...she deserves anything and everything james and the rest can dish out...let's keep in mind how insane she is and how much talking and complaining she does...lies, backstabs...manipulates. it may have been immature but i loved it...and i am her age!!! evil begets evil i say.

Posted by: callie44 at March 29, 2008 04:25 PM

Seeing E.D. Pouring the tea on Jen was really immature, this ranks with that, so childish, throwing something on somebody is a form of person to person contact and should not be allowed at all, getting stuff in your eyes and nose and mouth could cause damage and suffering, I don't care how annoying sheila is, nobody deserves to be treated this way, come to my house James and try doing that to me, did I mention I'm 6'4", 210 lbs Cherokee, with a bit of an attitude, I'll be waiting James...

Posted by: Grog at March 29, 2008 04:50 PM

LOL, poor poor Sheila, that flour must really be painful.

James busted Sheila for gossiping and backstabbing almost constantly. She wants to act bitchy and he gives her a little flour bomb. Whether it is mature or not it is certainly funny. Maybe he was just trying to "help" her with her makeup?

Posted by: Gregor at March 29, 2008 04:52 PM

That was too funny!!! I loved it! I hate Shelia. I hope that makes it on the CBS show. I also hope that Nat grows a back bone and puts Shelia up in Jame's place. Shelia has been getting a free ride through this game as well as Josh. Sharon is a mole and a fence rider. The final four should be James, Ryan, Adam and Nat. Then let 'em battle it out to the end!!!

Posted by: bekah at March 29, 2008 04:55 PM

ROTFLMAO they might just get her to walkout if they keep it up lol

Posted by: bearfan28 at March 29, 2008 05:32 PM

The first time when they got her up in the middle of the night for the "competition" was funny, especially because of the unitard. And she handled it well. This time was not funny - flour could have hurt her eyes -- and breathing it in can't be good for you.

Is she irritating, yup, but so are the rest of this year's houseguests.

Posted by: Sleepyeye9 at March 29, 2008 05:49 PM

Are the people on the previous thread that were happy about James winning the POV still happy? Why of course they are. Remember that some people thought that Chelsia's pranks were just delightful. People that we don't like deserve physical abuse, after all.

But still, I am hoping for anybody, even including James, heaven forbid, to win instead of Shelia.

Posted by: gray at March 29, 2008 05:50 PM

Very immature.

#1. Inhaling flour could actually cause a lung infection, so it isn't a harmless prank.
#2. Last year when Dick dumped iced tea on Jen's head, it wasn't premeditated. This was a planned attack.
#3. What happened to James' great advice he gave to Chelsia about not going nuts to try to hurt someone for no reason? As long as it makes him feel better, its ok, but if it hurts him, it isn't. Some morals...

I hope BB gives James and the rest who plotted this a serious punishment. James needs a penalty nomination and the rest need punishment for encouraging him to do it. How about no food comp - auto slop for everyone who planned it and Sheila and Sharon get a feast while the others watch and drool?

Posted by: Joy in WI at March 29, 2008 06:12 PM

Sheila actually looks better with the flour face..Thanks James, you made my day!

Posted by: jrnelsj at March 29, 2008 06:26 PM

Damn, Grog - you never said you were Cherokee...hmmm.

Posted by: Toots at March 29, 2008 06:39 PM

I thought we were not to continue posting about other posters here and focus on posting about the hamsters. Seems that some of us are incapable of that for whatever reason.

Anyhow, the odds of getting a face full of flour becoming a health issue have got to be astronomical. I know James is not liked by some of us, but come on. Plus it seems that EVERYONE in the house at least knew this was happening and said nothing to Sheila. Hell even the producers knew and did nothing to stop it.

Posted by: Gregor at March 29, 2008 06:39 PM

So what exactly happened? Did he just throw it on her or what? Can't seem to find that part on YouTube. Really stupid of him, IMHO.

Posted by: Beth at March 29, 2008 06:40 PM

Mr. Dish-It-Out-But-Can't-Take-It is all high on himself today because he's saved for a week. Ah, the strength of a over-inflated ego. He's such a gentleman.

He was justified in blasting her yesterday because she provoked him and he is justified in dumping her with flour today because...????

From HD - He didn't do this out of meanness. It was a prank that the guys all knew about ahead of time. That includes Ryan and Adam. Everybody's been pranking each other since last night in the house. This is just a continuation.

Posted by: Traci at March 29, 2008 06:40 PM

James should now run around saying "It rubs the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the flour again."

After one night of that Sheila will be begging to go home! :D

Posted by: Gregor at March 29, 2008 07:16 PM

I read that it was Natalie's idea to throw the flour on Sheila. Is that true?

From HD - I've read the same thing in a couple of different places. Does anybody have a link to video of this? Thanks.

Posted by: Lucky Lucy at March 29, 2008 07:24 PM

The guys are just doing this to see how far they can go with her with the pranks. I must say a person can really take so much of it. She has been a good sport with all of their pranks until now. It would be different if they were pulling pranks on the other girls. I don't like Sheila, but really that was a bit much.

Posted by: Linda at March 29, 2008 07:24 PM

Silly, silly hampsters! Oh the games they play while playing the game.... whatever, Sheila... rant, rant, rant.... if it wasn't the flour it would be something else just as funny and trivial. Get a grip.... enjoy the pranks while they last....

Posted by: Mimi Carolyn at March 29, 2008 07:31 PM

I don't understand how a lot of people think that he is really immature and doesn't deserve to win because he dumped flour on Shelia. It was a prank. James and Adam also switched Shelia's mattress with Adam's (formally known as the mattress Natalie performed certain favors for Matt on). I also think that Adam and Ryan did something with Shelia's tampons. He isn't doing it to be mean, everyones doing pranks, including BB. They have turned the water off while Shelia was all lathered up and made the water go cold on Natalie while she was in the HOH shower. They have also had "ghostly" people behind the mirrors scarring Josh (Click here to watch).

I guess if James is immature and mean for pouring flour on Shelia then I guess BB must be immature for flashing ghostly faces at Josh and the shower incidences. Adam and Ryan must be immature for the tampon pranks on Shelia and switching the mattresses.

I wonder why the powers that be don't just put these HGs on Carnation Instant Breakfast?? It tastes good and if they drank four of them, they'd be OK. No gruel. No texture problems. Tastes like chocolate milk... Seems like that would be easier. Idle question... Seems like it would beat the hell out of the gruel w/soy sauce like Ryan just had. I'd take chocolate milk over soy grits anytime.

I haven't seen the flour prank, but it sure did remind me of something my mother told me. Way back in the 40's during WWII, my Aunt Lori was getting all gussied up for Uncle Bud to come home from being in France. She loved Evening in Paris talcum powder. My daddy and his brother, my Uncle Bill, conspired to get her really pissed off. They dumped all the Evening in Paris talc out, saved a little, then filled the powder jar with flour, topped it off with a bit of the real stuff and sat downstairs and waited. Aunt Lori took her bath upstairs and took that big old woolie puff and fluffed herself all over with the mixture. She came flying down the stairs buck nekkid, covered in flour, and tried to whoop the crap out of her brothers. And I don't blame her. But they still laugh about it - she's 95 and my daddy is 92. He laughs a little more than she does though.

From HD - Sounds hilarious!!! BTW, the flour videos are posted earlier up in the comments.

Holy Toledo Batman! Leave for awhile and all hell breaks loose!!
No James fan, but even if I was his number one fan, this wasn't a prank, or at best, a very poor, not thought out at all prank.
My oldest son has bronchial pulmonary dysplegia. If someone dumped flour on his face and he inhaled enough of it, you'd throw my son in some serious respiratory distress, if not put him in respiratory arrest!
Now, as we all know how well BB/CBC has screened these people physically and mentally, pretty big risk they took letting James pull this. Did they know whether or not Shelia had/has a wheat allergy. Inhale enough flour with a wheat allergy and you will/can develope dermatitis, hives, asthma, allergic rhinitis, and yes even anaphylactic shock. Not smart James!
I don't like Shelia, but this is over the line in a big way. But that is James, a big show, as classless as his sidekick was!
When in the hell did BB turn into this freak show? BB8 was bad, this is disgusting! Where did they get these freaks from?

Posted by: diff at March 29, 2008 08:36 PM

i have to admit, this prank is a little distasteful. Although Im sure shes not going into anaphalactic shock, but it is pretty imature. This "prank" required no thought process, no class and it was just straight out no good.

Posted by: angie at March 29, 2008 09:03 PM

Odds were EXTREMELY high that Shelia would have any kind of reaction. However, I, not being God, wouldn't take that responsibility upon myself to decide whether or not I'd take that chance of making someone ill. That's a no brainer!
There is no comparison to taking someones mattress, putting things in the fridge, turning off the water in the shower, etc..

Posted by: diff at March 29, 2008 09:28 PM

Does anyone else want to choke Ryan when he chalks up his cue stick??? I have never seen someone feel the need to chalk so frequently, nor for such a long time. That squeaking makes my ears bleed worse than Sheila's yakking!

Posted by: Joy in WI at March 29, 2008 10:24 PM

I see some still think its funny about what James did... I guess it just goes to show how much class Sheila has over James! Lets NOT forget about the pickle juice he threw on Natalie along with Josh a few days ago! What is up with BB, do they care that little about respecting older people?! Did anyone ever stop to think about WHY Sheila is in the house, or is is just BB's idea of a BIG joke?!

James (Yuck) and Josh (Double Yuck) throwing pickle juice on Natalie:
In case you need to see it yet again you can click here

Jennifer

From HD - That happened a little bit more than a few days ago...LOL! It also wasn't a prank like the flour, and now toilet paper, and switching mattresses, etc. Big difference between them.

Posted by: Jennifer at March 29, 2008 10:27 PM

Actually, I'm no longer happy that James won POV. I want Josh out this week, and James out next week. At some point it stops being funny, and begins to become bullying. It seems like all the guys (and Natalie) are now participating in the pranks, but Josh and James are definitely the ring leaders. Now they've tp'd her room, gave her a broken bed, and are planning all sorts of mischief trying to set her off again.

Posted by: sandic at March 30, 2008 12:16 AM

I'm not a big fan of Sheila but what James did was pretty rude. THe other pranks have actually been funny, but theres nothing funny about dumping a cup of flour on someones face. It woudl be different if it was a flour fight similar to the slop fight that Chelsia, Josh and James partook in (which was actually pretty damn funny).

James is clearly doing this to intimidate Sheila, and I'm not sure his strategy is going to work. She's not a complete dummy and has enough life experience to avenge his behavior if she really wanted to. Personally, if it had been me under the same circumstances, I would have freaked out and gotten him back while he was sleeping tonight.

Hey Toots! MORE OVALTINE PLEASE!!!

Posted by: Gregor at March 30, 2008 01:30 AM

Loved the story Toots!! So funny!! If James had done something like that; THAT would have been a prank. Putting flour in her underware drawer would have been a prank. Putting sugar in the salt shaker would have been a prank. Dumping flour on her face was not a prank. JMHO.

Posted by: Beth at March 30, 2008 05:25 AM

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting the Josh and ghost in the mirror. If you didn't know he was gay before you do now. I'm still laughing!!!

Posted by: Dinkie at March 30, 2008 06:50 AM

The face in the mirror and Josh's reaction was priceless. Too funny. I'm wondering if all this pranking is leading up to a April Fools Day Pranktacular. I have a feeling BB might have a few more tricks up their sleeves.

Posted by: DocF at March 30, 2008 09:37 AM

ok..i've seen the flour prank..ad lets be honest..sheila was laying down with her eyes closed and he did not throw it at her he dumped it on her. There was no great force behind the flour. She stood up and it fell to the ground. She did not get it in her eyes otherwise she would have said so. it just got on her face and hair. She just mad she didn't think of it first. I have no sympathy for her. She is a flipflopping, whiny person and no i don't like James either but he was not out to send her to the emergency room so gt over it.

Posted by: Dinkie at March 30, 2008 11:32 AM

I am so sick of their childish behavior. I can't believe the producers are letting them get away with these stupid pranks. When you get a certain age, you don't like to put up with a lot of bullshit!!! If I were Sheila, I would insist those stupid guys be made to stop. It's all one-sided. The guys are not messing with Sharon or Natalie. I would have to insist they stop immediately.
