I'm Seeking Some Excitement

Big Brother's show tonight was, how can I put this, lacking. It just wasn't very entertaining. Perhaps it's because we already know what's happened in the long stretch since Wednesday but still. That's why they get paid the big bucks right?

I really expected them to show more reaction from the remaining houseguests concerning Chelsia's exit. Not much was shown at all. They went on for days about it in the house and we were relegated to watching about 120 seconds worth. Adam remarked how he didn't need a backbone because he did his job in getting her evicted. Sheila thinks Chelsia is just jealous of her and wondered what "being rode hard" meant in the diary room. Seriously, how could she be 45 years old and never have heard that expression before? Sheila was smart enough to know that it wasn't a compliment though. I guess you have to give her that much.

Due to God vindicating Natalie and waiting for just the right time for her to win HOH, there were plenty of Natalie moments tonight. She was happy to win a mental (competition) and was joined by Sheila and Adam to thank God for her victory. Team Christ was then introduced to the viewing audience. Ryan came up with the name and Natalie ran with it. Adam confessed in the diary room to being a member of Team Christ and added that he does pray to the Lord. What are you going to do about it? Huh?

The number 7 reared its ugly head tonight as well. 7 questions in the HOH competition, 7 people, week 7 (say what?), 7 angels of God, 7 is Natalie's favorite number, Matty was born on the 7th, Natalie was born on the 7th at 7:11, blah, blah, blah, blah. You had to love it when Josh remarked in the diary room how last week was all about the number 8 and now this week it's 7 and next week it could be 6 or 5 or 21. Who knows?

Big Brother showed us the Hide n' Seek game that Natalie played with the boys ages ago. It was a very cute segment and Natalie looked adorable in it but it just shows you how far Big Brother was stretching it tonight. We saw Natalie get her HOH room complete with pictures of her dog Sampson, her in a bikini, and her hugging a tree in a bikini. Josh said they were typical Natalie pictures and he is correct. Imagining her with normal clothes on is absolutely frightening! I shall have nightmares tonight thanks to this segment. (Before you Natalie lovers begin hunting me down, chill a little because I'm just kidding!)

Was it just me or was the food competition overly complicated? Can they not come up with any better ideas? I like seeing them get filthy nasty and roll around in food. Dammit, they should have to fight to stay off slop! This week, the hamsters were separated and brought into the backyard to pick whether they wanted slop or not. If the majority of them chose food then they'd actually get slop and the minority would get food. It was fairly entertaining watching how weak the women (and Josh) were while trying to smash a watermelon. Of course, we know that Adam is the only one that is on food this week and that's because everybody else chose slop. It's OK Sheila, it's not all your fault.

Nominations were held and Natalie put James and Josh up the block. She didn't take James up on his offer of a silent partnership (go figure!) and nominated him because she thought he would stab her in the back later. Natalie nominated Josh because somebody that has made it this far in the game and hasn't been nominated is a threat. She also threw in that she believed that the two of them (Josh and James) were working together and she wanted to break them apart. Yeah, the nominations were awfully thrilling.

What did you think about this oh so entertaining show tonight? What did you think about the weird mini-segments like Sheila asking about how Josh came out to his parents, James crying in the middle of the night, Adam and Ryan's whirlpool, and Natalie talking to Matt's picture on the wall while Ryan, Adam, Sharon, and Josh made fun of her? Would you prefer to write an inspirational speech in crayon or nail polish? I have to know!

James Wins POV Yet Again!!!

Can you believe it? This is absolutely amazing! Yay James! I know many of you can't stand him but I'm pulling for him and I'm thrilled that he won the POV.

I can't wait to see how things work out these next couple of days. It will be cuh-razy up in that house!

James_POV_March_28.jpg

So what do you think Natalie's next move will be? Then tell me what you think it should be. And how happy are you that James won POV again?

James And Sheila Have It Out

Last night provided us with a dose of additional drama in what should have been a ho-hum evening. Basically, what started it all was Sheila stirring that big pot of hers. James tried to have a decent conversation with Sheila about it all but it ended in a big huge fight with him screaming at her.

For your viewing pleasure --

James/Sheila conversation
James/Sheila fight
Reaction between James/Adam/Ryan afterwards
Reaction between Sheila/Adam/Ryan afterwards
James v. the house and Baller gets pissed
Natalie/Sheila talk about James up in HOH #1
Natalie/Sheila talk about James up in HOH #2
Downstairs discussion in the dark about James
Sheila is pissed
More downstairs discussion in the dark
James/Josh have a talk #1
James/Josh have a talk #2

For James' sake, he'd better win POV today. What are your thoughts on all of this and how it went down?

How Could She Do This?

I can't believe that Natalie did this! Why in the world would she nominate Adam and Ryan? I never saw it coming. I knew she was.... Oh come on. It was no surprise at all as to who she really nominated. I just wanted to have a little fun with all of you. Of course she nominated Josh and James.

It's really the only thing she could do and definitely the best thing for the good side. Barf! Whether or not it will be the best thing for her later in the game is yet to be determined. You know, it really would have been good if James and herself could have come to some kind of real agreement and slyly teamed up like Ryan and Joshuah have done. If she had accepted his deal (yes I know we're talking about James but just pretend), she could have nominated Josh and Sharon. Ryan and Adam would have questioned her but she, so brilliantly, would have prepared them for it ahead of time and spun it by saying she wanted to backdoor James like he did Matt. It could have been a nice plan for them both if he could be trusted and she could keep her mouth shut. But then, look at who we're talking about here.

After a long two-week hiatus, the food competition returned today. All but Natalie and Adam are on slop. Natalie because she's HOH and Adam because he chose to eat food. Yes, you read that right. I'm not too certain with the particulars of the competition but it seems that, in some way, they had to choose if they wanted to eat food or slop. Most of them over-thought things and chose slop. Again, the details are sketchy because of the FOTH. Sharon decided not to use her slop pass this week since so many people were on slop. She doesn't mind slop and I think she is a little afraid of using it at all because she's probably worried about the slop people's reactions. I can't say that I blame her. Eating regular food because you have a pass would be a constant reminder in other people's faces that she did win something. But I'm just glad people are on slop. Go ahead and call me a sadist.

Tomorrow, the hamsters have the Power of Veto competition and all but one will be playing. This is really a do or die for James especially. If Josh doesn't win it, he'll probably be OK and stay another week but Josh needs to win it just to secure his safety. If James doesn't win it, the chances are 99.9999% that he'll be going home. If James does win it and takes himself off the block, then Josh will probably be going home. The wild card is Sharon and you know she has to realize that she should be going balls to the walls on this competition.

What do you think about the nominations? Do you think Natalie would have made a good decision if she had chosen to team up with James in a secret alliance? Are you glad that slop is finally back in the house? What did you think about Adam's HOH blog? And most importantly, who do you want to win the POV tomorrow and why?

***BREAKING NEWS***

They drew for names not that long ago for the Power of Veto competition and Adam will be the only one NOT competing. It also sounds like it will be a physical competition. I now return you to your regular programming already in progress.

Chatty Natty Is The New HOH!

Oh my goodness! I'm still in shock over Natalie winning the HOH competition. I can only imagine how much God talk we're going to have this week. I'm really looking forward to that. NOT! And how much do you think we'll get to hear about her avenging Matty's eviction? Tons I'm sure. It will definitely be interesting to see how she acts as HOH though. So many of them let the power go to their heads.

It was about time we had somebody that said what they truly felt in their last chance speech tonight. Chelsia may not have been nice but she was definitely nicer than what she had been on the feeds. I'm glad she cleaned it up for television. Hahaha! And then her tirade right before she left? Again, mean but it was priceless! I also think Julie did a really great job of questioning her after she walked out that door. Finally, Julie had the chance to exercise those journalist chops of hers and think quick on her feet.

One question about the show though. Why do you think they went ahead and asked the seventh question when it was already over at that point? Natalie was two questions ahead of second place (Josh and Ryan were tied) going into that question. Since you couldn't go backward after answering incorrectly, the competition could have ended after question six. That's kind of funny to me. I'm not saying Natalie didn't deserve to win because she did. I'm just curious as to why they didn't just end it after the sixth question. What do you think the reason for that is?

So what do you think we'll have in store for us this week with Natalie as the HOH? What do you think the house will have in store for them? Do you think Natalie will be a good HOH? And who do you think she'll nominate?

Let me know! There is tons to talk about concerning tonight's show so let's get to it!

Liveblogging - Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

-:45 - Welcome all to what is sure to be another fantastic live show! I hope you stick around here to follow along with the show (8:00 PM ET) by refreshing this page and/or joining in to chat. The link to chat is over there under my bio at the top right of the page. Feel free to go in there anytime you want to. It doesn't need to be a show night. You may just find some folks in there talking about the latest goings on in the house. BTW, you can choose whatever screen name you want to go by in the Gabbly chat by clicking in the "Name" box and typing in your name. I can't wait to find out who wins HOH tonight!

:00 - Previously on Big Brother....

:03 - What up Ju-lie! You look very grandmotherly tonight. It's Day 49 and this week, no more Nice Natalie. It's time for Naughty Natalia. Seeking payback for Matt's eviction last week, she was able to push Adam to nominate James and his girlfriend Chelsia to break up their relationship like they broke up hers. Joshuah convinced Sharon to offer herself up. Tonight, either Sharon or Chelsia will be leaving. But first, it was Easter in the Big Brother house and eggs weren't the only thing to crack under pressure.

:03 - Footage of POV ceremony. Chelsia in DR says Adam has no backbone and is doing the dirty work for Natalie and she's one of the most pathetic people to walk in the BB house. Joshuah in DR said getting someone to go on the block for you is awesome. Natalie in DR says you have to get rid of the biggest threats which is James and Chelsia and you have to split them up.

:05 - Adam/Sharon in bedroom. Sharon in DR said she knew the risk was minimal being up on the block and she feels sure she has the majority of the house.

:05 - Chelsia walks out to the backyard. In the DR says the situation sucks and she'd like to turn to people but she can't. James has been the only person she can trust in this game.

:05 - James/Chelsia laying on their bed talking. She's upset and James is trying to console her. She says it sucks and she's not ready to leave. She said she came here to play a game and that's not what she did. Chelsia in DR says that developing a relationship with James has screwed her over in the game. Back to the bed, she's crying. James hugs her. She says she doesn't want to be done with this. He kisses her on her cheek.

:07 - Natalie in living room talking to Chelsia. Natalie talking about a former roommate with an annoying laugh. Now a different time and Natalie talking about old-timer's disease and Sheila corrects her. Chelsia in DR says Natalie throwing out words that she doesn't understand is pretty sad and that she has no education. She says that any little thing she does sends her over.

:08 - Natalie/Chelsia/Sharon making Easter eggs. Natalie making an egg and Chelsia says she thinks it will be ugly. Chelsia in DR says she can't stand this girl and if she's going to go out of the house she's going to go out with a bang.

:09 - Chelsia picks up one of the eggs and slams it down on the countertop. Everybody shocked. Now Chelsia throws one in the floor in the kitchen. Chelsia tells Natalie to have a little fun. Natalie goes off to sauna. Natalie in DR says that if she acted that way her family would have nothing to do with her. Chelsia back in kitchen goes to smash the rest of the eggs in the bowl. Making fun of Natalie's voice and how much fun she'd had making them. Sheila in DR says Chelsia has dug her own grave in this. Chelsia has the Beaver State egg. Natalie in sauna talking to herself saying that Chelsia picks on her because she's her biggest threat. Chelsia at table working on a puzzle but then stops and yells at Natalie that she needs help and calls her white trash. Chelsia asks Natalie what the opposite of red is. She says she doesn't know because she's never taken an art class.

:11 - Adam/Ryan watching all of this up in HOH room. They says she's going home this week. Back to Chelsia at kitchen table. James in DR says it sucks seeing somebody turn into a huge raging bitch and he doesn't want to be connected to Chelsia right now and he'll be voting against Chelsia.

:12 - Coming up, he's the larger than life fast-talking Jersey boy who's seemed to be liked by everybody in the house. Could he be their biggest threat? And later, the live vote. Let's go the DR to see what Natalie & Sheila have to say about tonight's nominees.

:12 - Natalie would like to see Chelsia leave this week because she can't stand her foul mouth. Also, Chelsia played a part in sending Matty home. She wants to seek vengeance for Matty. Sheila wants to see Chelsia out of this game because she's a problem child. She's got a little potty mouth on her, doesn't like her attitude, she's a little gossip monger and she'd like to see her leave. Commercial.

:16 - Julie welcomes us back. Time to go to the living room. Julie calls Baller out. Which would he prefer? A little jar of strained peas or a little jar of pureed pears. It took Adam a second to get it but he prefers the pears. She asks what he likes so much about baby food. He doesn't know. He said he didn't put it on any of his questions. Julie asks what this will do for his street cred. He says nothing. Julie asks them about their surprise wake-up call the other day. Showing footage of Dick waking them up. Josh is laughing at his reaction on the screen. Sheila cracking up. Julie calls out Sheila and asks if Evel Dick her kind of guy. Sheila says he absolutely is and she understands why he's so evil. Time for Natalie. Julie tells Natalie she seems to be doing OK after Matt's eviction. She asks how much Matt is still on her mind. Natalie says all the time and he misses his presence and she says it's easier to play the game now and it's a blessing in disguise. One more question for Natalie. How many letters are in Matt's last name? She counts on her fingers to 8. Julie asks if it means anything to her and Natalie says it could. Julie asks Sharon if she's evicted who would she like to nominate to take care of her furrrriends. Sharon says she'd have Natalie take care of them.

:19 - Time to hear from Adam's family back home. Footage of Sheila saying she doesn't know what a baller is. Footage of Adam in the house and in the DR. In Cherry Hill, NJ his family is watching on TV. Jared (brother) says that's just his personality. You have to get through the layers to get to know him. Denise (mom) says there's a soft person behind the facade and that he's a kind and loving person. She says when Adam was a kid he liked to help other people and did a lot of charity benefits and collection drives. She says he has a very big heart even though he comes across as a hard person. He's really a softy. Footage of Adam giving Sheila the $10,000. His brother says that once you meet Adam you'd realize he's harmless and not a maniac. He says he speaks really fast and half the time you won't understand what he says. You have to learn how to take the basic pieces of the words out and put it together to understand it. Mom says Adam has a bit of Rainman in him sometimes. Brother says he's extremely intelligent and he can have you think he has no idea but he'll really have the whole thing figured out.

:23 - Back to the DR to see what Josh, Ryan, and James have to say about the nominees. Josh says Chelsia has been cracking lately by smashing eggs and people want to see her out of the house. Ryan says he wants Chelsia out of the house because she's a fierce competitor and teamed up with James they're a strong duo. James says that like the SS Titanic. She's sinking and he's a passenger on the ship. She is bring him down with her. Her little antics and her kid stuff she's been doing in the house look really bad on him. He tries to do damage control but he thinks the damage has already been done. Commercial.

:27 - Julie welcomes us back. Time to talk to Adam in HOH room. She says that since the beginning of the game he's had his ups and downs with Sheila. Where does Sheila stand with him now? Adam says he was never going to put her up on the block but he has to joke with her sometimes and likes to get a rise out of her sometimes. (He's talking a lot and very fast!!!) Adam says he would have for sure voted Alex back in but he didn't raise his hand when Julie asked them last week because James was sitting right there. Adam says he's in a position where he does have to worry about his position in the house. Adam tells Julie to have a great day and leaves.

:29 -Julie asks who will be leaving? Let's return to the living room and talk with the nominees. They get one last chance to plead their case. Sharon says she's had an amazing time here and if it's her time to go it's her time to go but she'd like to stay. Chelsia says she wants to stay in the house but everything happens for a reason. She says she's learned so much in the game and will learn so much from the game. She's getting upset and saying that she didn't change for anybody. Sheila nods her head. Chelsia said she didn't become a materialistic and vain person. James puts his head down. Chelsia says that if she walks out the door she still has her dignity because she did not breastfeed off of anybody to stay in the house so please give her the vote. Julie thanks both of them. It's time for the live voting to begin.

:32 - Natalie gets up to go vote and others are laughing and kinda shocked about Chelsia's speech. Natalie happily votes to evict Chelsia. Joshuah votes to evict Chelsia unfortunately. Ryan votes to evict Chelsia. Sheila votes to evict Chelsia. James sadly votes to evict Chelsia.

:33 - The results are in and it is unanimous. Not even her boyfriend voted to have her stay. How will she react to the bad news? Stay with us. Commercial.

:36 - Julie welcomes us back. It's time to reveal the results to the houseguests. By a vote of 5-0, Sharon you are safe. Chelsia laughs. Julie says she's evicted. Chelsia asks them all to stay seated. Chelsia says that Adam needs to get a backbone in this game and he's playing like a baby. She says Sheila has been rode hard and will be put away wet. She tells Natalie she needs to educate herself because she's in need of one (an education). She tells Josh that he's crazy and she loves him. She whispers something in his ear. Chelsia hugs and kisses James. Chelsia hugs Sharon. Chelsia hugs James one last time. She leaves by telling them to blow this house up. After she walks out the door, Sheila says that was really mature.

:38 - Chelsia shakes Julie's hand. Back to inside the house. They're all laughing about Chelsia's blowup. Sheila says she's just jealous. Sharon laughing and hugging Adam.

:39 - Julie asks Chelsia what she was whispering to Josh. She said she told Josh that he has a tendency to psych himself out before competitions and that he can do anything. It was a pep talk. Julie asks what Chelsia was whispering to James. Chelsia says she told James that there's a reason for everything and there's a reason why he's in this game. Julie asks why Chelsia was whispering advice to Josh and she said it was because she wants him to do well in this game. Julie asks her about her speeches. Chelsia said she knew she was leaving and she wanted to go out with a bang. Chelsia wasn't disappointed that James didn't vote for her. If she can't win, she wants to see him win. Julie remarks how she didn't campaign against Sharon. Did she quit at that point? Chelsia says no but she just knew there was no way she'd get the votes. Julie asks her to think back to when she had to choose between putting James back in or the mystery guest. Chelsia says mistake #1 was playing with your heart and falling for somebody and mistake #2 was bringing them back into the game. At that moment, she wasn't thinking right. Time for videos! Josh says he's sorry they couldn't pull it off and make it to the end together and he's playing the game to avenge what happened to her and will take out Adam and Natalie. Sharon hopes they can be cool outside the house. Natalie says she's sorry she's gone and she knows she don't like her but don't worry she's been praying for her that God will open her eyes so that she quits hating on people. James says he cares about her and his time with her was very special. What they have together in the house is something he wants to take outside the house and it's worth more than $500,000. Chelsia crying and says she came in with the attitude that she was going to play the game and that the game is a lot harder than what it seems. Chelsia says she'll see about a romance with James outside the house. She needs to watch the season first. Julie tells her that was a smart answer.

:44 - Coming up, who has what it takes to be the next HOH? Commercial.

:47 - The power is up for grabs. Tonight's competition is called Big Brother Election. She tells them about the viewers answering the questions on the website. They will be asked questions based on America's answers. Answer by raising left (blue glove) or right (red glove) hand. If they get it correct, step forward. If incorrect, remain where they are. Player in lead after seven questions will be the new HOH. Put on your blindfolds.

:49 - Q1 - Who did America say would be more likely to re-carve Mt. Rushmore to include only their face? Joshua left hand or Sheila right hand. Answers please. Correct answer is Joshuah. Everybody except Sheila and James move one step forward.

:49 - Q2 - Who did America say would be more likely to give their winnings to charity? Sheila left or Adam right. Correct answer is Adam. Everyone except for Sharon and Ryan can move one step forward.

:49 - Q3 - Who did America say would more likely lock themselves out of the White House? Adam left or Sheila right. Correct answer is Adam. Everyone except for James and Josh can take one step forward.

:50 - Q4 - Who did America say would have a more interesting biography to read? James left or Sheila right. Correct answer is James. Everyone but Sheila and Sharon forward.

:51 - Q5 - Who did America say they would prefer leading them into battle? Ryan left or James right. Correct answer is James. Everybody except for Sharon and James moves forward. Julie told James to give himself more credit. (LOL)

:52 - Q6 - Who did America say would give a more inspiring speech? Natalie left or Josh right. Correct answer is Natalie. Everyone except for Josh and Ryan can move forward. Natalie in lead by 2 questions.

:53 - Q7 - Who did America say would more likely stop their motorcade to let a squirrel cross the road? Sharon left or Natalie right. Correct answer is Sharon. Everyone except for James, Sheila, and Natalie can move forward.

:53 - After 7 questions, we have a new HOH. Natalie, congratulations! She's screaming and jumping around. She runs and jumps on Ryan. Hugging Sheila and then hugs Sharon. She gets her key from Adam. Joshuah looks super dejected. Sharon telling her she can finally see her family. Natalie begins to cry. Commercial.

:56 - Julie welcomes us back to talk with the new HOH in the living room. She tells Natalie congratulations and remarks she's still wearing her victory gloves. Natalie says it feels great to win and she's overjoyed. She's looking forward the most to seeing her friends and family and pets and her Yellowcard CD. Bye Julie!

:56 - Who will Natalie nominate for eviction? Find out Sunday. Typical rundown of upcoming schedule and Big Brother After Dark reminder. Let's eavesdrop on the houseguests.

:57 - Natalie in amazement and is talking with Ryan. He's grinning from ear to ear and he hugs her. They're talking softly. Sheila crying by herself in the bathroom and wiping her face with a paper towel in front of the mirror. Show's over!

Whoa. Oh my goodness what a freaking show!!!! LOL

Last Day For Chelsia?

I honestly don't think we're going to have any surprises on the live show tonight as to who will be evicted. I feel safe saying that It will be Chelsia going home. James even told Chelsia last night that he can't vote for her to stay because he knows she'll go after him in the game.

Sharon had a little mini-breakdown yesterday after being worked over by Sheila and Natalie. She had her cry and then gathered her composure. Of course the "other" side is trying to get Sharon to flip but before doing so, she'd better realize she'd be low man on the totem pole over there. They'd use her for a week or two to get James and Josh out and then boot her ass. So stay strong Sharon!

Big Brother will be back to its regular time tonight at 8:00 PM ET and I'll be live-blogging the show as usual so check back here this evening to chat and follow along. I really do wonder which of those questions (if any) that we answered on CBS' website will be used in tonight's HOH competition.

So who do you all want to see win HOH tonight? Who would you want them to nominate? And what are your thoughts on Sharon going to the "other" side?

Sweet Child O' Lime

Let's just put it out there right at the start here and say that tonight's episode wasn't nearly as good as the past three or four. Whew! I feel better already. There was not enough time to drop in on the Bible Buddies or the hilarious guinea pigs unfortunately. Tonight's show was all about business. So perhaps I should get down to it myself.

By far, the best segment of the night belonged to Evel Dick and his rock and roll musical accompaniment. If you've read me long enough, you know how much it pains me to say that but it's the truth. It was entertaining to see Dick walk through the storage room doors and go to the kitchen looking for pots and pans. It was even more entertaining to see Josh leap out of bed when Dick went to banging. I almost peed my pants (yes, with laughter) when Big Brother showed the 45-year-old single mother and former Penthouse Pet Sheila jump onto Dick and straddle him. It would have been funny if Dick had pushed her off of him. What's the worst that would have happened? He would have been evicted?

The Power of Veto competition itself was a snoozer. Perhaps it was because I already knew the results (of course) but I also really expected Big Brother to show more of Dick's talking to the hamsters while they were drinking the nasty concoctions. I also expected more Dick dialogue during the mallet-swinging to be shown. They made Dick out to be quite the little lamb tonight didn't they? Anyway, James won the POV competition by drinking all 10 shots and scoring the most points. His points weren't enough to win him the Gibson guitar and amp in Rock 'N Roll Croquet though. Dick took that home as a parting gift.

We received another spelling lesson from Natalie on how to spell 'done' tonight (D-U-N) and watched James tell Chelsia he loved her in the storage room. Ahhhh, the place where romance blossoms. There were a couple of bits with Natalie and God. The first one was when she was talking with Sheila before the POV competition in the bathroom. To paraphrase, God is in control and He would not let James win POV. I could only imagine a Will/Boogie diary room phone conversation at that point. Will calls up Boogie and says, "Did you hear that Natalie thinks God is in control of the game and wouldn't let James win POV?" Will says, "Hahahahahaha!!!!" See what I mean?

We also watched as stupid Sharon volunteered to be put up on the block in place of James. As I said a few days ago, you never volunteer to be put on the block. Never! Ever! I don't care if it was your former partner that thought it was a brilliant idea. Sharon dear, Josh is out to win the money too. It was sweet when you said in the diary room at the end of the show that you're saving Joshuah because you want to get to the end with him, but wake up girlfriend! If only she could have seen Josh's diary room where he proclaimed himself the master of the house for managing to get her placed on the block instead of him. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Ryan talked circles around Adam and Natalie in the HOH room prior to nominations. Josh and Ryan are finding themselves higher on my "deserve to win" list as the days go by.

What are your thoughts on tonight's show? What do you think of Sharon volunteering to put her ass on the line? Did you think Dick was rather muted in his POV segment? And are you glad the mystery of Chelsia winning the Vegas prize is finally out in the open? OK, you may not be but I sure am. I've been getting at least 10 emails a day about the subject. So spill Big Brother lovers and tell me what you think!

Ten Questions

With all of the goings on around this place lately, I'd be really interested to see how you would answer these questions. If you want to see my answers, you can do so here. But why don't you tell me what you think right now at this point in the game?

1. Who is the most underrated player left?
2. Who is the most overrated player left?
3. Who do you think will win?
4. Who do you think *should* win?
5. Who is most irritating to you?
6. Who is getting the best and worst TV edit?
7. Who is most different on the feeds vs. TV?
8. Who is the luckiest to still be there?
9. Who will get the rudest awakening when they leave the house from the public?
10. Who will be received best after they leave?

The Joshuah Monologues

In case you missed it yesterday afternoon, Joshuah had a little heart-to-heart with himself and God. He said lots of great things that included, but were not limited to: Natalie's vagina, how stupid everybody was in the house, and how he talked his way out of a DWI when he was drunk. Love-ly!

Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5

In other news, Chelsia went off on Natalie again last night. Talking about her BJs, abortions, squirting milk. She even busted all the eggs they'd worked hours on dyeing. Oh, and James and Chelsia had sex again last night. I say again because both of them talked about the first time they had sex (before James was evicted).

Never a dull moment in the Big Brother house eh?

Guinea Pigs Rule!

Oh. My. Goodness. Was tonight's show great or what? I'm still cracking up. I have to hand it to whoever came up with the guinea pig segment tonight. By far, that was the funniest thing I've seen on this show so far this season. Seriously! That segment will be one of those that goes down in Big Brother show history.

The segment started out with Sharon talking to her beeeebeeeees in that awfully annoying voice she uses while Josh rolls his eyes at her from the kitchen table. In the Diary Room, he makes fun of her voice and the way she says "babies" and points out that they can't understand what she's saying. He ends it with pretending to shoot himself in the head. Then we have Sharon in the Diary Room telling us that she feeds the guinea pigs before she even feeds herself in the morning. Even Adam had a chance to get in on the fun in the Diary Room by making fun of the way she called them her furr-iends. And then we had the piece de resistance.

The guinea pigs had their own Diary Room session!!! Big Brother actually took them out of their cage at some point to sit them on the mini couch in the Diary Room for what has turned out to be a glorious occasion. BB even made up a little conversation between the guinea pigs just for us. One guinea pig said, "Sharon needs to go on the block this week for sure." The other guinea pig said, "Yeah, she's crazy!" I can't stop laughing!!! Then Big Brother gave us another shot of them in the DR saying, "Furr-iends my tail." I'm not lying when I say I can't stop laughing. I think I need a tranquilizer or something!

Another great part of tonight's show was when we saw Adam get his HOH room. I was clueless about what was coming next. Adam got baby food in his HOH basket! Gerber's Peach Cobbler to be specific. And you know how the HOH usually gets some beer or other goodies in their mini fridge? Well, there was more baby food in there! How old is this man? He said in the Diary Room that he really needs to talk to his Mommy about this because she didn't do a good job with what he wanted. Oh so precious Natalie tried to save the day by saying she hoped he shared his baby food with her but the damage had been done as far as I was concerned. How freaking weird is that? He will never, and I mean never, live this down.

We also saw the luxury competition on tonight's episode. The competition wasn't that exciting itself. They played a Big Brother version of blackjack in the backyard with the hopes of winning a movie pass for themself and three others to see the movie 21 in the house. Ryan won the competition and chose Adam, Natalie, and James to watch the movie with him. But then Big Brother gave him a chance to win a VIP three-night trip for two to the Planet Hollywood resort in Las Vegas. All he had to do was beat the house in one hand of blackjack. I can't blame him for going for it because I would have, but he lost. So besides losing the movie passes for himself and the people he'd chosen to give them to, he also lost a nice trip to Vegas. It would be the other four watching the movie instead.

The rest of the show was business as usual. We had the typical reactions after the eviction (Natalie swearing to avenge Matt's eviction), the HOH competition (Adam was bummed because he didn't want to win it), and the nominations (Natalie saying they shouldn't mess with her and Mattie because this is payback). I did love how Adam chose Sheila's key to be pulled last. That woman was sweating bullets! And I couldn't believe how much talking Natalie had to do to convince Adam that putting up Sheila wasn't a good move for him. That man really is a dolt.

We, the viewers, also have a chance to have an impact on the next HOH competition. Click here to go answer the poll questions they have up if you feel so inclined. Seems the hamsters are going to have to try and guess how America has voted to win HOH on Wednesday evening.

What did you think about the show? Are you as proud of Natalie as I am concerning her counting to 8? Does seeing the smaller table make you realize, as a viewer, that the show is in its home stretch? And please tell me you loved the guinea pig segment as much as I did! In case you missed it, the video is right below this. I've watched it over and over and over and over. It gets funnier every time!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all of you Big Brother fools! Whoa, that feels weird to say. I'll probably never get the chance to say that to you again due to the unique circumstances this season.

Yesterday was a fairly boring day in the house wasn't it? The only major event that happened was Chelsia, Josh, Sheila, and Sharon getting to watch the movie up in the HOH room. While they were up there doing that, Natalie and James came to an "understanding" to have each other's backs until the end of the game. Of course, it wasn't real. The movie-goers then brought down candy for the others to enjoy so everybody snacked on that.

The only other business going on in the house was between James and Chelsia late last night. They came close to doing the deed but stopped just short. James did tell Chelsia that Big Brother gave the OK for them to have sex in the Diary Room behind the couch though as long as they showed their heads. While they almost completed their mission last night, I kinda think they'd already completed it the night before. Why don't you be the judge? Now consider yourselves warned -- don't click these links at work or with the kiddies around. Here is the footage of them from Friday night. And this is the footage of them from last night in the sauna room. After they left the sauna they went to the bathroom and Josh caught them making out.

On the agenda for today, the hamsters will be having their POV ceremony. James will be using his Power of Veto on himself which will leave an empty chair for Adam to fill. Sharon has graciously chosen to put her head and her ass on the chopping block. Confident little thang ain't she? Part of me would love to see things flip so that she goes home this week. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! You never volunteer to be on the block.

I wonder if Big Brother will do anything special for them today since it's Easter. They could give them some Easter baskets at least. The hamsters did boil eggs last night for their own Easter egg hunt today. And perhaps Natalie and the two remaining Bible Buddies will gather the houseguests for a little Bible study on the meaning of Easter. Oh, one could only hope!

Natalie Vs. Chelsia

Oh man oh man oh man. There's just something about watching chick drama that gets me all excited. Watching two dudes go at it doesn't really do it for me. Occasionally, a dude on chick fight is fun to see. But chicks? We really know how to do it better.

Case in point, Natalie and Chelsia got into a little tiff last night and I'm still laughing over parts of it. I can't wait to see what you Dick fans have to say about it because I see absolutely NO difference between Natalie and Chelsia's fight and, say, the Dick/Amber or Dick/Jen or Dick/Dustin fight. But why don't you judge for yourself by checking out the links below and then letting me know what you think in the comments.

Nat/Chels #1 - Nat/Chels #2 - Nat/Chels #3 - Nat/Chels #4 in Boat Room - Nat/Chels #5 - Nat/Chels #6 - Nat/Chels #7 after the Diary Room

And could any of you tell me how Chelsia's fight with Natalie last night was any different than Dick's fights with Amber? What Dick said was true. What Chelsia said was true. Is it because he's a man and Chelsia's a chick? Is that what makes what he did better? Even though what both of them said was true?

A Conversation With Sheila Of Big Brother 9

I hope all of you enjoy this little video of Sheila I put together. It sure was a helluva lot of fun making it!

This is the direct link to the video on Veoh. This is the direct link to the video on YouTube. The YouTube link seems to work only when it wants to.

Let me know what you think about it in the comments -- good or bad! :)

James Pulls Through Again

Can you believe it? James won the POV yet again!

James_POV_March_21.jpg

He mentioned to Ryan a couple of minutes ago that he almost won the guitar ($3,500) but the POV is worth more to him than that. Well, it's probably going to be Chelsia going home this week.

Thoughts?

POV Watch

Since we're all waiting with bated breath for the POV competition, I thought it would be good if we all took a look at last season's croquet POV competition that Dick won. Dick said in his chat here that this POV competition will be just like last season's but it will be sort of twisted in that they'll also be competing against Dick.

So let us take a stroll down memory lane and revisit last season's Power of Veto competition. For what it's worth, if there are concoctions again I hope they are just as nasty because I would love to see if Sheila would actually drink any of them!

ETA at 7:10 AM - Well I heard Dick talking and laughing with somebody about 45 minutes ago (the audio on his mic bled through to the feeds) and then I'd been watching them sleep. I was afraid to go grab a second cup of coffee just in case! But I shouldn't have waited, because trivia has started and it seems they won't even show us a tiny bit of the wake-up. Booo!

ETA at 8:40 AM - The feeds are still on trivia so let's take another stroll down memory lane. The links that follow are of Dick's wake-up calls last season and the hilarity/rampage that followed. Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5 - Part 6 - Part 7

ETA at 10:40 AM - Still trivia on the feeds but I did just finish watching House Calls. Early on in the show, Gretchen showed what was happening on the live feeds and we saw James lying in his bed. He appeared to be sleeping and was fully dressed and laying on top of the covers. Then at the very end of House Calls, they showed the live feeds again and we saw Dick. He was in the backyard and appeared to be announcing something or practicing lines because he had paper in his hands and was walking back and forth across a little stage. There were also cardboard stand-ups of flames to the side of the stage.

Baller Has Balls

Well the flip-flopper took a stand today and nominated James and Chelsia for eviction. Perhaps after digging around in his pants all this time he finally found his balls. His target for eviction is James. James had better win POV if he wants to stay because the history in this game tells us that people who have been voted out and then came back in don't stick around very long. Ryan's circumstance this season was a little different but Amy (S3) (thanks Pete!) and Kaysar (S6) are two examples.

I really hope that if, after the POV competition and ceremony, it comes down to either James or Chelsia staying that James will stick around. That would be a tall order to fill though and the likelihood of that happening are slim to none. The smart thing to do would be to get James out of the house this week but then again, this season's hamsters aren't known for their brains. Or their brawn. Hell, not even for their looks. So scratch all of that. Consider it a crap shoot.

Speaking of crap, some of these hamsters won some prizes in a very late night luxury competition held after Big Brother After Dark went off the air last night. I don't think any of these people deserved a luxury competition but it's not like I have any say in the matter. They were apparently split into pairs and had to bet on answering questions correctly. Two of the pairs (Sheila & Josh and James & Sharon) won movie passes to watch the movie 21. I have no idea when they'll be having movie night though (possibly tonight?). And then Sheila & Josh won the best prize of all. Both of them won a 3-night stay in a swanky Las Vegas hotel along with $5,000 gambling money. Not too shabby if you ask me.

Oh, and for those of you who are Dick fans don't forget he'll be hosting the POV competition. Dick kept saying on House Calls today that he had to be on set at 5:30 AM BB time Saturday. Now I don't know if he was getting his days mixed up (the POV contest is usually on Fridays) or Big Brother is taking Good Friday off and putting the competition back a day. He also said on House Calls to make sure you're watching the feeds because he's asked Big Brother if he could do one last Dick at Night show in the backyard before going into the house. Who knows if it'll happen but if it does it could be interesting. I can't stand the man but even I would want to watch it. But again, no idea if POV is tomorrow or on Saturday so if you don't have to work tomorrow and you're around turn on your feeds and check it out.

So what are your thoughts on all that has gone on since last night? Do you think Adam made the right nominations?

ETA at 6:10 PM - Sounds like the POV competition will be tonight! They just picked players and besides Adam, James, and Chelsia playing it will be Sheila, Josh, and Sharon. Natalie and Ryan won't be playing.

ETA at 6:21 PM - OK, deep breath. They don't have a time for the competition so the hamsters are just thinking it will be tonight. Sounds like it will be tomorrow morning on Good Friday after all. Dick, in a chat on Jokers, has said that we won't see his wakeup call on the hamsters in the morning. We'll have to wait until Tuesday's show to see that.

ETA at 6:55 PM - I just want to squash something that's going around right now to avoid all of the comments asking about it. Amanda said in a chat on Jokers that Neil left the game because his cousin was killed in the NIU shootings. That can't be true. I know that's what Amanda said but let's look at the dates. Neil left the house on Feb 13th and the NIU shooting was on Feb 14th.

Adam's The New HOH!

Who expected Adam to win HOH tonight? Not I -- that's for damned sure. I was hoping that Chelsia would win out but I must say I expect things to be a little more interesting this week with Adam at the helm.

What do you all think about Adam being the new HOH? Who do you think he'll nominate? It's going to be crazy on the feeds tonight and tomorrow. I expect Sheila will burrow herself up Adam's behind and try to stay as snug as a bug.

Liveblogging - Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

-:90 - Hopefully you've all remembered that the show is starting one hour later this evening due to Survivor being bumped to tonight because of NCAA basketball (booo!!!!). And of course, Survivor gets the 8:00 PM ET time slot while Big Brother gets shoved back to 9:00 PM ET. It's only one hour longer to wait though and I think we'll still greatly enjoy the show. You can follow along with the show (9:00 PM ET) by refreshing this page and/or joining in to chat. And just in case you hadn't noticed already, I added the link to chat over there under my bio at the top right of the page. Feel free to go in there anytime you want to. It doesn't need to be a show night. You may just find some folks in there talking about the latest goings on in the house. BTW, you can choose whatever screen name you want to go by in the Gabbly chat by clicking in the "Name" box and typing in your name. So are all of you ready for the show tonight? I think it's going to be a good one!

:00 - Previously on Big Brother....

:03 - Hey there Julie! Looking simple in that black dress tonight. It's Day 42 and it's been a week of what goes around comes around. Moments after being evicted, James suddenly found himself being voted back into the game. James promised with a vengeance to keep Chelsia safe. But when James won the POV he shocked the house by going back on his word by putting Matt up on the block. Either Ryan or Matt will be going home.

:03 - But first, Matt has been reduced to tears and finds himself at the mercy of the house. Footage of the POV ceremony.

:04 - Natalie in DR says she's so angry and she doesn't get angry very often and calls James a hypocrite. BB shows footage of their deal in the HOH competition. Natalie in DR says James is a liar and his word doesn't mean diddly squat. James in DR says James is on the block because he lied about being the third vote. Matt in DR says, sniffling, that people fear him in the house and it sucks being kicked out backdoor style. Natalie's crying in the bedroom and Chelsia and Josh comforting her. Natalie in DR is crying and saying this is very hard and she's very sad that he could be going this week and feels she hung on to the disco ball for nothing.

:06 - Matt/James in backyard after ceremony. Matt tells James that Natalie's playing with him and she's not playing with her. James says the it feels otherwise. Matt says he feels he let everybody down and will come away with nothing. Ominent music begins and Matt starts crying. Matt says he hates himself. Matt says he won't be able to win over Ryan because he's Mr. Nice Guy. James in DR mocks Matt's crying about his helping his mother out. James says they all have somebody they want to help out in the house.

:07 - Matt/Natalie hug in bedroom. She's crying and he tells her that when he's gone he wants her to go after them. Ominent music plays again as he walks away from her. She's crying. Bee-bop music starts up again as he cries in the kitchen.

:08 - Josh tells Ryan that things will be fine with him. Sheila/Ryan talking in sauna. She tells him she'll be voting to keep him there. Because when she makes a decision, it's a decision.

:09 - Matt/Adam in BY by pool table. Matt asks if there's a way to save him and says the vote will be 5-1 or maybe 4-2 if he gets his vote. Adam says he feels bad for him and that talking to him won't help. Adam tells Matt that he has to go talk to James. Adam in DR says he fired Matt up by telling him what he needs to say. Matt in DR says he has Natalie and Adam's votes and might have to play on sympathy to get another vote from the girls.

:10 - *Superman music* Matt lays down and talks to Chelsia and asks what he has to do to get her vote. Says he doesn't want to spend his birthday in sequester. He's never spent a birthday alone. Chelsia in DR says Matt is pathetic and it was hard not to break down laughing at him. Matt talking to Sharon in BY saying he fears being along in the jury house. Sharon in DR says Matt totally felt that he had her. Whatever and to get out of there with that crap. Matt now talking to Sheila and says he wants to have her vote. Matt says he'll do whatever he wants because that's the person he is. He doesn't want to spend his birthday alone. Sheila says she doesn't know. Matt in DR says it's aggravating that nobody will give him a straight answer as to how they'll be voting.

:12 - Sheila in BY with others and Matt. Matt wants to know what it is he's done that everybody wants him out so bad. Chelsia says Ryan's not campaigning. Matt says he's not and that if anything he voted for her to stay. He says he's never crossed any of them. He says that Ryan has crossed everybody here. He tells Sheila that Ryan took money from her. He put James up on the block. He wants to know why they're holding that against him. Sheila in DR says that Matt has a point and is beginning to question keeping Ryan. Matt asks them to save him this week. He wants a miracle, prayer, or a fair shake. Sheila in DR says it's coming down to a split vote and James will have to break the tie.

:14 - Sheila with James up in HOH. She tells James Matt hasn't done anything to her. She says she wants to keep Matt. James says he doesn't know what he'd do if it was a tie vote. Sheila tells him about the BY conversation. Sheila tells him that Matt made sense. She doesn't know if Matt was the one who told Ryan what to do but it was Ryan's decision. Sheila wonders what Ryan will do off the block. James says he doesn't know who Ryan would target. Sheila says Matt hasn't done anything but Ryan has done a lot of s**t to everybody. Ryan will come after James and his alliance. James says he doesn't know what to do. James in DR says he wouldn't mind seing either of them go home because they've both burned him.

:17 - Julie tells us that coming up we'll pay Dick and Dani a visit to see how their relationship has fared since last season. And then the live vote. Now we're off to the DR to see what Josh/Adam/Natalie have to say. Josh says Ryan and him are in alliance and is a trustworthy guy. Adam says for him he thinks he can trust Matt. Natalie wants Matty to stay in the house because he's been her partner since day 1 and he's the only person she can trust in the house. Commercial

:21 - Julie welcomes us back. Time to go to the living room and check in with the houseguests. Julie asks James about the nomination ceremony and his talking about his word but then he put Matt on the chopping block after promising people he wouldn't. James says it was a backdoor move and he wanted to get back at the people on the block. Natalie tells Julie she thinks he's a hypocrite and that James' word doesn't really mean anything. Julie tells Adam/Ryan/Matt about them being the Bible Buddies. Julie asks Adam how many cubits tall Ryan is. Adam's trying to figure it out but Julie stops him. Julie asks them about the mystery box from last week and asks them who throught Allison would be in the box. Three raised their hands. Julie shows them who it was that would have been in the mystery box. Everybody shocked that Alex was it. Sheila/Sharon/Chelsia with mouths open. If they had known it was Alex, 4 would have voted him back in.

:23 - Dick/Dani began last season as the estranged father/daughter who hadn't spoken in 2 years. Now, 6 months later, have they maintained their close relationship and what do they think of this season's houseguests? Footage of last season's finale. In Las Vegas, Dani meets Dick in his hotel room. Dick says life is different and good. Dick going to meet Barry Manilow who's a fan of the show and then he name drops all of these other people. He went to New York and people wanted his autograph. A woman drove from San Francisco to have him sign her arm and then she tattooed it. He says it's rock-star-ish. Dick says he took Daniele to Europe with the money. Dani says she had so much fun and their relationship is definitely good right now and she can't complain. Dani shows us her new car that her dad bought her. Dick says they probably wouldn't be talking now if it weren't for Big Brother. Daniele says the same thing. Footage of Nick/Dani in the house. Dani says that Nick and her are no longer dating but they're just not compatible like they thought they were.

:26 - Dick/Dani talking about this season. They both think James is playing the game. Dick says Sheila drives him crazy. Dick says Sheila/Natalie go on and on and their voices drive him crazy.

:27 - Julie tells us Evel Dick will be returning to the Big Brother house next week. She'll tell us more later. Coming up is the live vote. But first let's hear what Chelsia/Sharon/Sheila have to say in the DR. Chelsia wants Matt out of the house this week because he's been having other people play the game for him. Sharon wants Ryan to stay in the house because she doesn't feel he'd come after her for anything. Sheila says that Matt hasn't personally done anything to her but she doesn't want to vote for either one of them. She doesn't want to make the ultimate choice as to who walks out the door this week -- she wants James to make that choice. Commercial.

:31 - Julie welcomes back. Moments away from the live vote and eviction. Will it be Ryan or Matt? Let's return to the living room and talk with the nominees. They have one last chance to plead their case. Ryan says he stands in front of the guys in a very familiar position (on the block) and he's running out of fresh material for his eviction speeches. He wants to right what he's done wrong in this house and wants the opportunity to continue to play in this crazy game. Matt says he's humbled and he was in on a crime last week just like he (Ryan) was and would like the chance to rectify what he's done. He says he knows it's a tough choice. Please and then thank you. Julie reminds everybody that in the event of a tie James will break it. It's now time to vote.

:33 - Chelsia votes to evict Matty. Josh says he's glad to evict Matt. Sharon votes to evict Matt. Natalie says it's tough but she votes to evict Ryan. Adam votes to evict Ryan. Sheila votes to evict Ryan.

:35 - Julie tells us we have a tie (she hasn't told the houseguests yet) and we'll find out what James decides when we come back. Commercial.

:39 - Julie welcomes us back and tells us there's a tie and it's up to James to cast the deciding vote. Julie tells them it was a tie. Ryan and Matt both look nervous. James stands and faces the nominees. He votes to evict Matt. Matt has been evicted from the Big Brother house.

:40 - Matt hugs everybody. He looks like he's going to cry. He even shook James' hand. He hugs Natalie and Natalie gives him a kiss on the cheek and Matt walks out. Natalie begins crying and Ryan goes over to her. Matt's out the door and meeting Julie now. Matt shakes Julie's hand and sits down. Back inside the house, Natalie's crying and being hugged by Sharon and then Sheila and then Chelsia. Josh is quiet and not saying anything.

:42 - Julie tells Matt he looks devastated and he says he is. He thought he pulled through with the votes. James just convicted the wrong man of the crime. He voted to get him out last week but it wasn't his plan. Julie asks Matt why he didn't campaign harder to him since he was the deciding vote. He says he did try and you see where he's sitting now. Julie asks Matt about Natalie and his true feelings. Matt says she will be a great friend of his the rest of his life. As far as a relationship, she's not for him. Matt says she's a great girl and has a lot going for her and says she's a cheerleader in the NFL. Time to see the goodbye messages. James says he's a great guy but hsi attitude comes off really crappy sometimes and hopes he keeps the sequester house warm. Sheila says his relationship with Natalie was difficult and it was a tought bond to break (she's crying). Ryan says he's his boy (Matt's sniffling) but it's unfortunate that it came down to this. Natalie says she still thinks he might be her soulmate whether he believes it or not. Take care on the outside.

:44 - Julie tells him he's the first member of the jury. Coming up next is the HOH competition. Who has what it takes to become the next HOH? Don't go away. Shoot to the BY where all of them are standing behind a stone wall all gathered together really close. Commercial.

:49 - We're back. Let's find out who the next HOH will be. Tonight, it's a battle of medieval proportions in a competition called "En Garde." They will face off two at a time on the podium and answer questions about things the evicted housemates have said in the Diary Room. If you buzz in first and are correct, you stay in the game and your opponent is out. Answer incorrectly and you're out. The person that remains will choose the next two houseguests to face off. If neither of you buzz in, you are both eliminated unless you're the final two.

:51 - Josh/Chelsia up first due to a random draw. Julie reminds them the answers will be of an evicted houseguest. Which houseguest declared, "We're the power couple..." Josh buzzed in and guessed Jen but he's wrong and is out. Chelsia chooses Natalie/Sheila to face off.

:52 - Which evicted houseguest stated, "This is Big Brother. We decided to make our own rules. We can be anyone we want in this house." Finally Natalie rings in and guesses Allison. Natalie is right and Sheila is out. Chelsia/Sharon up next.

:53 - Which hg said, "If Allison reveals the secret she will screw up my game and it will really piss me off." Chelsia rings in with Jen and she's right. Sharon's eliminated. Chelsia chooses Adam/Natalie to face off.

:53 - Which hg said, "You cannot trust a kid with a pink mohawk." Adam rings in with Matt and is right. Natalie eliminated. Ryan/Chelsia up now.

:54 - Which hg said, "I decided to tell people in the household that I worked for a company rather than owning a company." Chelsia rings in with Alex and is right. Ryan eliminated. It's now down to Chelsia and Adam in the finals.

:54 - Which evicted female hg said, "I think I'm stuck in a...." Adam rings in with Amanda. Congratulations Adam! You are the new HOH! Everybody hugging Adam but Natalie and Sheila are all over him. Everybody talking. Julie tells us Evel Dick will be returning to the BB house. Find out more when we come back. Commercial.

:57 - Julie welcomes us back to talk to the new HOH in the living room. She congratulates Adam. Adam says he has to nominate two people but he's extremely happy he won. He's looking forward to seeing pics from his mom, brother, dog, and wants a letter from home. Julie thanks everybody and tells them good night.

:58 - Julie tells us to tune in on Sunday to find out who Adam nominates. She then tells us that on Tuesday Evel Dick will return to the house to give the houseguests a wakeup call they won't soon forget. Then one week from tonight at the regular time for the live eviction.

:58 - Let's eavesdrop on the houseguests. They're all gathering in the kitchen. Adam looks super excited and can't stop smiling. Show's over folks!

What did you think about the show tonight? Were you glad to see the update on Dick and Daniele? And what about the look on Matty's face when Julie told them it was a tie vote. I almost expected James to break out into a little dance when he said Matt's name. And I wonder how much trash talking (if any) Josh actually did during the commercials. Anyway, give me your thoughts!

Blockheads Playing With Blocks

I'm upset. Why you ask? Because from the moment I saw the Power of Veto competition on tonight's show I knew we had been cheated. What a great competition that was! Of course, it would have needed a few little tweaks to turn it into a proper endurance challenge but it wouldn't have been that hard.

They could have added some snow (a la season 4 and the dog house final 3 challenge) or some snakes hissing on the ground (a la my own idea). They could have coated the wooden blocks in Vaseline or made them wear four layers of clothing. What would have been so bad about an endurance POV competition? The hamsters definitely wouldn't have been expecting that. I guess we would have had to deal with the whole blacked out on the feeds sort of thing but they could have let the button slip a few times during the competition so that we could have seen something. Just imagine the suspense! Oh well. I know none of my ideas will ever be used so I'm just wasting time coming up with them.

So we saw James win the Power of Veto competition tonight in a setup that was supposed to resemble the guinea pigs' cage. They had to transfer over 500 wooden blocks from one side of three beams to the other and place them in a plastic tube. The first player to transfer all of the blocks or was the last one standing won the POV. James, Ryan, Sheila, Matt, Chelsia, and Josh were the ones participating and all of them understood how important winning the POV would be. Well maybe Matt didn't really realize how important it would be considering he was the first one out practically right after the competition started. Ryan didn't do much better either. After thirty-one minutes into the competition, Sheila dropped a block and was eliminated. It came down to Chelsia, Josh, and James.

Chelsia fell off her beam after 1 hour and 27 minutes. Was I the only one confused as to why James was hootin' and hollerin' at that? It was then down to Joshuah and James. Which one of these powerful men would walk away with the Power of Veto? James would. He finished transferring his blocks, grabbed the POV symbol, and placed it atop his plastic tube filled with letters. He then yelled, "I heart all of you!" I kid, I kid. He received his gold medallion and left Ryan and Sheila quaking in their boots as to what would happen next.

They found out soon enough at the POV ceremony. Thanks to Sharon earlier in the HOH room, James finally found out that Matt was the one that cast the third vote against him coming back into the house last week. He had been thinking about taking somebody down and putting Adam up in their place because he thought Adam had been lying. That all changed rather quickly though! Matt was going to be going up on the block and there were no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Most everybody was stunned when James took Sheila, the 45-year-old-Penthouse-Pet-single-mom who has worked-for-everything-in-her-life and doesn't-want-to-embarrass-her-son off the block. They were even more stunned when Matt went up in her place. Natalie looked as though she was going to faint and I thought for sure she was ready to run at James and stab him in the gut with a pointy nipple. The reason James gave was that he realized when Natalie made the deal with him during that endurance HOH competition that she was still playing as a couple with Matt (ya think?). He wanted to break that up. And with that, this POV ceremony was adjourned.

Matt went off to go cry in the diary room and try to explain his shock at this turn of events. Ryan felt relatively happy because he knew that they really wanted Matt out before him. Sweet little Natalie said that James wasn't a man of God and proclaimed God would avenge her and take Matty off the block. Sheila was shocked she was still in the game. James? I thought he was going to jump up on the sofa in the diary room and begin singing, "Beat It." He was thrilled with the decision he'd made and ecstatic that the meeting went the way it did.

Now did you catch the newest version of "Bible Buddies?" Big Brother even gave us chanting monks this time to start the segment off. Matt was asking Adam about the Arc of the Covenant and Adam told him it included the Ten Commandments. Oh, and it was also in the Indiana Jones movie. They then began discussing the Holy Grail and Adam told him that it was also in Indiana Jones. When Matt suggested they go off to find it after Big Brother was over, Adam explained that it would take more than their winnings to even attempt such a matter. Why, golly gee, it would take at least $30 or $40 million to find it. And then they'd have to buy the tools and the equipment. Priceless!

So besides Sheila whining half the episode, what did you think? Were you happy to finally see how the POV competition went down? And what did you think about the POV ceremony? And could any of y'all spot me $40 million? TIA!

The Plan

Just a quick question for y'all this afternoon. Do you think 'the plan' hatched by James/Josh/Chelsia/Sharon last night will end up being successful in getting Matt voted out of the house?

Please answer yes or no in the comments and give your reasoning if you'd like.

She-She-Sheila Doesn't Shut Up

There are people in the house this season that get on my nerves but none as much as Sheila Kennedy.

I don't dislike her the most because that spot is reserved for the oh so precious Matty. But I can at least watch him on the feeds. He does enjoy himself sometimes and has fun with others (and I don't mean with just Natalie). Sheila? She makes my mind go numb.

I have to make myself listen to her. Rarely does she have anything important to contribute to a conversation. It's the same old same old. She's a 45-year-old single mother. She's a former Penthouse pet. She lived in the Penthouse mansion for 10 years. She's writing a book. She didn't think Big Brother would be like this. She doesn't want her son to be embarrassed. Nobody will talk to her like they did so-and-so. She's real. She doesn't lie but everybody else does in the house.

She's pretty when she smiles yet we hardly ever see it. She's never around when a group is having fun because she's usually off sleeping or cleaning or talking somebody's ear off. She scrunches her eyes so much that those furrows are ever-deepening between her eyes. Everything is, "Right" and "You know." Her weird cackle of a laugh is beyond grating.

She speaks in circles and doesn't bother to really listen to anybody. Instead, she chooses only the parts she wants to hear. Damn, did she just say, "piggyback" again? I'm not sure I've ever heard somebody go on and on as much as she did when she was on the block. And even after she was taken down, it didn't stop. Matt was trying to talk to her about what was going on and it probably took all of three minutes for her to turn the conversation back to her and how bad things were for her. Again, not listening to the person talking to her. Did she just say for the millionth time, "Ya think?"

Sorry for the little mini rant people but I'm so sick and tired of hearing her every single damned time the feeds are on. Argh!

The Sweetest Revenge

Tonight's show was a great show for James lovers and James haters alike. The lovers liked the show because he came back to rise like a phoenix from the ashes and win Head of Household. The haters liked the show because Big Brother made sure to focus many times over on how good James said his word is in the house. Because, as we all know, your word is all you have in the house and it's a direct reflection on who you are as a person.

Bwahahaha! Excuse my outburst but I can't believe the hamsters fall for this spittle every season. They want to stay in the house so bad that they let these things called "promises" make them feel safe. I'm getting ahead of myself here so let me pull back a tad. We watched tonight as, one by one, the hamsters fell off of their disco balls in the HOH competition and left Natalie and James holding on for dear life. It came down to Natalie getting sick and deciding to trust James when he said he wouldn't put her or Matty on the block. After 4 hours and 26 minutes, James became the new HOH. James shook Matt's hand and said he'd stick to his word unlike everybody else in the house. James even hugged Natalie, told her he loved her, and said he wouldn't break his word.

Then there was a bunch of filler to take us to the nomination ceremony. Natalie finally received her long-awaited massage and you just know that Julie will say something to Matt about it on the next live show. We saw dorky pics of James from his high school prom up in his HOH room. Ryan talked to James up in the HOH room and stammered around when James was asking him about why he did what he did last week. We watched as Josh sprinkled pixie dust, I mean dust dust, around the house and on the beds of the people he didn't like.

The best segment tonight though had to have been "Bible Buddies." From the corny graphic that opened the piece to the loopy-lou music throughout, it was fabulous! I was enthralled as Matt and Adam almost overloaded their brain trying to figure out how to convert cubits to feet. Whoa dude, Goliath was like 9 feet tall! Matt became a little too excited when he read about Jacob (not Sharon's ex) marrying two girls in one week and how his women provided him with maid service. Then the brainiac Ryan entered the room and told Adam he should start like a Bible college or something. Ryan thought that knowing about the Bible was a good thing because like there are lots of references made to it in real life.

At the nomination ceremony, James began by reminding everybody that all each of them have is their word in the house. Of course, James put Ryan and Sheila up on the block. Did Sheila looked severely ticked off or what? If she could have shot fire out of her eyes, James would have been a fried man. James was magnanimous in telling Sheila that she was on the block because she had given him her word last week. Now she might be evicted because it turns out that her word doesn't have value. Ryan was nominated because he successfully backdoored James last week and to now nominate him was the sweetest revenge.

So what are your thoughts on the show tonight? What did you think about the "Bible Buddies" segment? And what about how many times James brought up people's "word" in the house? Let me know what you think!

Matty's On The Block

It's official!

James took Sheila off the block and put Matt up. Matt looks upset about it and is talking to James about it in the backyard. Natalie's crying to Josh in the boys' bedroom. James is telling Matt that it's a game and Natalie's telling Josh that she feels bad for Matty. Now Matty's crying to Natty which gets her crying again.

This is fun!

A Change Of Plans

My ears have become numb from Sheila's voice. Her book, being a single mom, a Penthouse Pet, living in the Penthouse mansion, and her being nominated. I'm sick of hearing about all of it! I could stand listening to her for a little longer though (I think) if Matt was to be voted out this week. And what do you know? He just might be!

James has decided to take Sheila off the block at tomorrow's POV ceremony and put Matt up in her place. Yes, that means he's breaking his promise to Natalie and Matt about not backdooring him this week. Don't you love it? Chelsia, Josh, Sharon, and Adam are on his side in the plan so if things were to happen at this moment, Matt would be voted out. Of course, Natalie's going to be a crazy woman after the POV ceremony if James does indeed decide to stick with this. What will she do without her Matty?

What do you think about this change in plans? Do you think it's smart of James to go after Matt right now? What do you think about his breaking his promise? Should Natalie be assigned her own psychiatrist after the POV ceremony? Let me know in the comments!

Natty Satisfies Matty AGAIN

Late late last night, actually this morning, the boys were talking in the kitchen with Matt about why he won't take Natalie up on her "oral treat" offers. Matt confessed to James, Ryan, and Adam that he did receive an "oral treat" from Natalie on the second day but doesn't know why he won't accept them anymore. After some talk of STDs and whether or not Natalie received or rejected his "offering" on the second day (she received), it was time for bed.

Adam was in his bed, Matt and Natalie in their bed, and Ryan on the floor between them on his pallet and Adam and Ryan were pretending to be asleep. Natalie's hand was a-roaming around Matt's nether regions and with a kiss from her Matty, she decided to go down for more. The link to the video is below but please make sure you watch it until the very end. If the end doesn't cause you to bust out laughing or groan in disgust, then I just don't think you're human!

ETA on March 16 - In case anybody was wanting to know, Matt got another one last night. Two nights in a row for our boy Matty!

Another Pinky Wins POV

Well what do you know. James won the POV! Of course, his plans at the moment are to keep the nominations the same. Matt's concerned with being backdoored but I really don't think he has anything to worry about. James promised him that the deal he made with Natalie in the HOH competition also included backdooring either one of them.

It would be interesting though if James used the POV and took either Ryan or Sheila off and then put somebody else up. I'm trying to think back and remember if that's even been done before. That would make for some damned good drama wouldn't it? But it's really just wishful thinking on my part. I really believe nothing will change with the nominations. However, the decision as to who will be evicted next will change as often as the wind blows.

What are your thoughts concerning the state of the Big Brother house now that the POV competition has been held?

Big Shocker!

Oh, I'm just kidding with you. It's no shock to those of us who have been following the feeds but Ryan and Sheila have indeed been nominated for eviction by James.

Who do you think will be going home next week if the nominations stay the same? And how many times do you think everybody will change their minds?

Big Brother Disco

Yay! An endurance competition! These are always my favorites and I'm sure they're yours too. Go turn on your feeds to watch with me!

I'll be updating this post with the results as people drop out. What do you think about this endurance challenge? Who do you want to win this challenge and become the next Head of Household?

Come into chat and let's talk about it!

6:18 PM - The feeds are back up. Adam is sitting on the couch with Ryan so Adam's not the HOH! LOL! Josh is out as well.

6:28 PM - Matt fell down and he's out.

6:38 PM - James and the other ladies are still on their balls. Sounds dirty doesn't it? James has said that he knows he has to stay up there because if he doesn't he'll be nominated. Sheila's working really hard to stay on. Natalie, Chelsia, and Sharon don't seem to be having a hard time of it at all just yet.

6:43 PM - Sheila's feeling nauseous. The audio on the feeds keeps cutting in and out for me and I'm having a hard time following conversations.

6:45 PM - Sheila's out! Just Sharon, Chelsia, Natalie, and James still swinging.

7:06 PM - The balls have stopped swinging and the same four are still standing on their discs above the disco ball. Trivia comes and goes.

7:08 PM - The balls start swinging again. Natalie wants Ryan and Matt and them to save her some food.

7:21 PM - Could one of you go and knock Natalie off please? I'm tired of hearing her yapping. Regardless, the final four remains Sharon, Chelsia, Natalie, and James.

7:26 PM - Oh sweet baby Jesus! Matt told Natalie that she was doing a good job and just might get her massage tonight. Natalie responded by saying, "Don't you want to feel up on my sexy body?" *barf*

7:31 PM - Some of the balls have a lot more white stuff on them than others. I wonder how much that white stuff weighs. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm just trying to see how many jokes about balls I can make. The four are still up there by the way.

7:44 PM - All of their arms are tired. Big Brother needs to shake things up a bit and move it on along. Again, shut up Natalie!!! Poor you haven't experienced being HOH yet and so that's why the others should let you win? She wants to win one for once. Cry me a freaking river.

7:50 PM - Natalie keeps wanting to talk to James and James told her he doesn't want to talk right now. He just wants to concentrate. Natalie then proceeded to say she wishes she could sing. She can't stand not talking to people. Oh, and don't mind her talking to herself. She tends to do that alot. Now she's trying to talk to Chelsia.

7:52 PM - Yay! The audio for feeds 3 and 4 are finally working!

7:54 PM - Natalie sounds like she's praying silently to herself. Thank you God! Baller's sleeping on the couch outside.

7:57 PM - Baller alert! He is awake after all and making weird faces while laying on the couch.

8:12 PM - The final four of James, Chelsia, Natalie, and Sharon are still at it. At least Natalie's shut up. Perhaps that means she's finally getting tired. One can only hope.

8:16 PM - Sharon jumps off. She says she's done and can't feel her legs. Down to a final three now of James, Chelsia, and Natalie.

8:17 PM - Sharon's back inside talking to the guinea pigs and Josh. Natalie told James and Chelsia that she's not after them this week. She's after Josh.

8:20 PM - Sheila asks Natalie how she's doing and Natalie says she's doing good. It's just like hanging on a stripper pole. Priceless.

8:35 PM - Hot pizza has arrived. James, Chelsia, and Natalie are hanging in. Natalie still keeps trying to make a deal with James. James is hellbent on winning though.

8:48 PM - Chelsia looks miserable. Natalie and James look to be doing the best right now.

8:54 PM - During a brief FOTH, Big Brother told them no more squatting. This should go much quicker now.

8:57 PM - Some light deal-talking going on now. Chelsia is looking pretty bad. James is beginning to have a really hard time as well. Natalie looks to be the strongest person at the moment.

9:02 PM - Chelsia just fell. She's mad at herself for falling. She's upset. It's now down to Natalie and James. Natalie telling again James that she brought him back. He tells her that he wants to stay up though. If he got off, it would ruin him.

9:05 PM - Natalie and James both tell themselves they're in for the long haul. Neither seem to have any intention of getting down any time soon.

9:15 PM - Natalie and James are still at it. Not much talk going on between them. Chelsia's enjoying her pizza and still trying to get feeling back in her feet.

9:28 PM - James and Natalie talking about how they want to stay up there and actually earn the HOH. Natalie begins going on again about wanting to win HOH just one more time and how she may not get another chance.

9:33 PM - James has said his fingers are blistering. Natalie asked him if he's sure he wants to go 7 hours and he says he does. The platform is beginning to speed up now. Moving them around much more erratically.

9:36 PM - The platform is constantly moving. James asks Natalie to tell him before she falls and they'll cut a deal. She asks him the same. She again says that him and Chelsia are safe.

9:39 PM - In case you were wondering, Sheila still thinks everything is about her. She's going on about Josh verbally abusing her and Adam is trying to keep her calm so that she doesn't play a factor in what's left of the HOH competition. Sheila's pushing hard for Natalie to win and says that James winning is a complete ego thing. She says Natalie should win this because she hasn't been HOH yet.

9:45 PM - James is wanting to deal now. He's not going to last much longer.

9:46 PM - James is going to keep going though. He says he can do this on his own. The platform has gone from constantly moving to only moving every now and then. As soon as they begin to get adjusted to a stationary ball, Big Brother moves it again to make it swing so that they have to readjust.

9:56 PM - Still the same old same old. James and Natalie are fighting it out. Everybody else is watching.

10:03 PM - Josh told James to let her win and let her put him (Josh) up. James says it's not about that. It's about how far he can take his body now.

10:07 PM - Natalie now asks James if he wants to make a deal. James not ready yet. But then he says only if he, the person they both don't like, goes home. Natalie says she can't promise he'd go home but only that he'd be put up.

10:11 PM - Natalie asks James if he swears not to put up Matty. He says he won't. He won't put up either of them. She tells him he has to trust her like she trusted him. Matt tells Natalie from the sidelines to stay strong. Talking from the sidelines going on. Natalie says she feels like she's going to vomit.

10:13 PM - James tells Natalie he'll make that deal with her. She tells him she knows but she has to think. He tells her he got a second chance in this game and he's not going to f*ck that up.

10:14 PM - Natalie says she feels like she's going to vomit. She says she doesn't want Matty to go up. James tells her he won't go up. James tells her to throw up and stay with him. Natalie begins to dry heave. James says he doesn't know what to say to her. Matt tells her to take the deal.

10:15 PM - Natalie drops after making the deal. She immediately begins to puke. James says he's not going to f*ck over people like they f*cked over him. Everybody's giving Natalie water now. She's exhausted. James is smoking a cigarette and talking with Josh. James tells Josh he's not going to put up Matt and tells Josh that he's fine.

10:18 PM - Natalie's fine. She's just tired and thirsty and weak right now. Everybody's helping her out though. Basically good feelings going on in the house right now. Matt tells Natalie that he's so proud of her and gives her a hug. Natalie and James hug and he tells her that he won't go back on his word.

After almost 4 1/2 hours, James is the new HOH! :)

With that, HamsterDame is going to bed. LOL!

Liveblogging - Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

-:45 - Are you excited about the show tonight? I really can't wait to see who'll be coming back in the house. You can follow along with the show (8:00 PM ET) by refreshing this page and/or joining in to chat. I'm going to stick with Gabbly again since everybody seems to like that the most. It's free for you and easy to use. If you're interested in chatting before, during, and right after the show you can do so by clicking here. BTW, you can choose whatever screen name you want to go by in Gabbly by clicking in the "Name" box and typing in your name. Enjoy the show everybody! If you've already watched the show by the time you read this, scroll down and give me your thoughts on the show tonight.

:00 - Previously on Big Brother....

:03 - Hola Julie! Horrible sweater! It's day 35 and it's been a week of emerging power players in the house. James and Matt fought to control HOH Ryan. A third power player emerged from left field. Sheila intervened and convinced Matt to do her bidding. Either James or Sharon will be evicted tonight. What the houseguests don't know is that there's a surprise in store for them that could change everything. For the past week, you've been voting to give an evicted houseguest a chance to return to the game.

:04 - But first, all hell broke loose as accusations of who betrayed who and who would ultimately pay the price.

:05 - Footage of POV ceremony with Ryan putting James up instead of Matt.

:05 - Matt says it's on now to Josh and then goes in backyard screaming. Matt in DR says that's what happens when you try to get at him. Natalie telling Matt that Josh is livid. Josh's stupidest move was telling her what was going to go down because she would tell her partner. Matt in DR says they're all shook up right now.

:06 - Chelsia up in HOH with Ryan and she's upset. Josh comes in. Ryan tells them that Matt's one of his boys. Chelsia tells him not to play her for a fool and that it's on now. ryan said he could have taken her veto away. Matt comes in. Ryan tells Matt and Chelsia he wants to talk to Josh alone.

:07 - Ryan tells Josh that he didn't put Josh up because he wasn't going to eff him over. Josh says this totally works.

:07 - Sharon in living room with others. Matt comes over to her and tells her she ain't going nowhere. Sharon in DR says she doesn't trust anybody more than she could throw them. Natalie and Sheila tell Sharon she's staying. Matt in DR says he wanted James in the crew but when he got word he was trying to screw him over it was done.

:08 - In backyard, Sheila tells Ryan he did the right thing and asks her if they're still voting out James. She said of course. Josh/Chelsia come out to lay out. They ask Sheila how she's doing. Sheila says she's not doing good. Matt tells Josh that he thought he was the dick of the house. Sharon tells Josh to stop because he's about to argue with Matt. Sharon in DR says that Josh needs to chill out because people are going to be afraid of his blowups. Josh in DR says if you really want to set him off just tell him to shut up or shush him.

:10 - Sheila/Sharon talking in backyard. Sharon tells Sheila that Matt was trying to kiss up on her in the HOH room. Sheila shocked! Sharon tells her she's been working since she got HOH. Sheila asked if he was a good kisser. Sharon said no and said it was like a dog. Sheila in DR says that Sharon came across as a quiet introverted person when she came in the house but she thinks Sharon will do just about anything to win the game.

:11 - Sheila tells Natalie up in HOH about Sharon kissing Matt. Natalie stunned.

:12 - Sheila/Natalie talk in sauna. Natalie says this all makes her not trust Matty now. Her gut's telling her one thing -- to get rid of Sharon. Sheila told her she was thinking the same thing. Natalie says she wants her gone now. She's sneaky but deadly. Natalie in DR says Sharon needs to go because she's getting to close to Matty and that now she wants to vote to keep James.

:13 - James goes into sauna and they tell him they'll be voting to keep him. James says he has the votes. They give him their word.

:13 - Matt tells Natalie that James will be gone. Natalie tells him she's going to make the best move for her and he wants to take her to go chat real quick. In the bedroom, Natalie tells Matt he's trying to play her for the fool. The way he treats her is not nice. Matt says he doesn't like any girl in the house. Natalie says she hopes he's not talking about her. She tells him that she wants a little attention from him. It's always whatever he wants and whatever's convenient for him. Matt says then that's fine they're not partners anymore. He's moving out of the bed. He tells her that if she's not with him she's against him. Are you with me? She answers, "I don't know."

:15 - The houseguests have already cast their votes to evict. Chelsia in DR says that Sharon should leave because she's not playing the game. If James stayed, she thinks she could get far with him. Adam thinks James should be gone because of Chelsia and they're too strong of a couple. Sharon needs to go because you have to watch out for the quiet ones. Matt says James needs to evicted because you can't trust a kid with a pink mohawk and he's a stronger player than Sharon. He must go. Commercial.

:18 - It's time to go to the living room and check in with everybody. Julie asks Matt about his not holding back after the veto ceremony. Was there ever any doubt in his mind? Matt says of course but he's happy to be there. Julie asks Natalie about them being teamed up as partners and asks if her relationship with Matt has changed since and if so, how? Natalie says now but Matt in the background shook his head yes (Natalie didn't see it). Matt says they're BFFL and hugs her (LOL!). Julie asks everybody to check out this video of Sheila coming out in her unitard (clip shown on last night's show). Julie asks them if Jen or Sheila wore the unitard best. They all say that Sheila has.

:21 - Since being evicted, the evicted have not returned to their regular lives. Let's catch up with them. At Jacob's sequester house, he's praying and thinking about Sharon and hopes she's doing good in the game. If he got back in the house they could spice some things up. At Jen and Parker's sequester house, she feels they weren't given a fair chance. She doesn't know if Ryan's still in the house and says if she goes back in the house she'll go back in with a vengeance. Parker said it would be awesome if he could come back. He would give somebody an earful if they crossed him again and wouldn't hold back. At Alex and Amanda's sequester house, she says that they don't get along and they butt heads. Alex feels he should go back in because of the position she put him in. He says when he goes back in the house he won't be the nice guy anymore. Amanda says she'd look out for herself if she went back in. At Allison's sequester house, she's doing yoga by the pool. She says she deserves to be back in the house because she deserves to get revenge. She's swallowed every ounce of ridicule and torture that came her way and remained strong. If she comes back, it's going down in a big big way.

:23 - Julie tells us it's time to reveal who we want back in the house. The formerly evicted are standing outside the front door. Julie tells Allison she has some news for her -- that Ryan became the new HOH. We can't hear her answer (mic not working) but we hear Matt in the background. She tells them that America's been voting the last week. In a few seconds, she's going to tell them who America chose. But whoever wins, don't get too excited too soon. Because the power will then shift to the houseguests. Who will vote live to bring back either the houseguest they evict tonight or you? They're all shocked. Julie tells them that the twist will be that their identity will be kept secret from the houseguests because they'll be hidden in a mystery box. Will they vote back the devil they know or the devil they don't? Who will be in the mystery box? Parker, you came in second place. Alex, America picked you. Congratulations Alex! He's absolutely shocked.

:26 - Natalie in DR says she wants to get Sharon out of the house because she's sneaky. James/Chelsia also have a strong relationship so that could be a huge threat too. Sheila says that Sharon's playing both sides of the house but she's a woman and the females need to stick together. Josh in DR says that Sharon needs to be voted out because she's easily intimidated and he doesn't need her to flip flop. Commercial.

:29 - Julie welcomes us back. It's time to find out who will be leaving tonight. Sharon or James? Let's return to the living room. By a vote of 5-1, James you have been evicted. He hugs Chelsia and walks off. Natalie tells him bye. Nobody gets up to hug him bye except Chelsia. James walks out.

:31 - James comes out to meet Julie. Back inside, Sharon is about to cry and Sheila looks confused. Chelsia goes off to cry but is trying to hold off the tears. Natalie hugs her and Matt and Ryan hug Sharon. Chelsia says it's just a game.

:31 - Julie asks James why nobody said goodbye to him except for Chelsia. He said it's because that was the way he wanted it - he didn't want the people voting him out to be fake with him. Julie asks James who's playing the game the best in the house? He says Sheila because she's hanging low. James says he really likes Chelsia and wants to hang out with her outside the house. He says he would do whatever it takes and he's glad he met her on reality TV of all places.

:33 - Chelsia with a special goodbye message for him. She's crying and tells him she thinks she's an amazing person and is beautiful on the inside and the out. When she came in to the house, she thought it was impossible to connect with somebody in 35 days but it happened. She does care about him and will be thinking about him every day and will miss him alot. James says it was nice of her and he loves her alot. Julie calls him out on the "L" word. He says it's a different kind of "L" word.

:34 - Julie asks what would he say if it may not be the end of the line for him. He says he may crap his pants. She asks him to keep it clean from here on out. Julie tells him what's going on. He's in shock. He watches as the siren goes off inside the house. Everybody's shocked. Chelsia looks excited. They're all speculating that James may be coming back.

:35 - You hear Sharon saying it could be and listing off the previously evicted houseguest's names. Commercial.

:39 - Julie welcomes us back. Let's return to the living room and surprise everyone with the news. Hello again houseguests. She says she has another important announcement. On the plasma is a box. She says in this box is someone from their past. It is either Jacob, Jen, Parker, Amanda, Alex, or Allison. Josh worried. She tells them about America voting for one of them to return. Their choice is in the mystery box. Houseguests, you have a difficult decision before you. Either bring back whoever is in the mystery box or bring back James. In a moment, you will vote live. Think carefully who America would put back in the house or is it in your best interesting to bring back James? Time for the live voting to begin.

:41 - Ryan votes for mystery houseguest. Chelsia votes for James (before Julie can finish asking her). Matt votes for mystery houseguest. Sheila votes for mystery houseguest. Vote is now 3 for mystery and 1 for James. Josh votes for James (he yells it!). Natalie says it's a hard decision and votes to bring back James. Votes are tied 3-3 now. Adam votes for James. 4-3 for James now. Sharon votes for James. 5-3 for James now. It's official. When we return, the houseguests will find out who will be returning. Commercial.

:48 - Julie welcomes us back and tells us it's time to reveal to the houseguests who they chose to bring back. During the break, the mystery box was delivered. Inside is the houseguest you voted to bring back in the game. Chelsia is so super excited. Go ahead and open it. It's James! Sharon screaming. James yells that he's back. Natalie says yay Jamesy! Everybody goes off to the backyard for the HOH competition.

:49 - Backyard is set up with disco balls hung from a giant platform. They have to grab onto a disco ball and grab onto the chain and stand on the gold disc above the disco ball. They must remain standing upright for now. No crouching allowed. Tonight, since we brought back someone from your past, since we brought back someone from your past is called "Big Brother Disco". It's time we take things up a notch. The disco balls are raised. If at any point you fall off, you will be eliminated. The last one remaining above their disco ball will be the new HOH. The competition starts now.

:51 - The platform is going up and down and circling around. Julie asks if everyone's 'Stayin' Alive' and says she'll be back to check on them in a little while. When we come back, a champagne toast for our houseguests. Commercial.

:54 - Julie welcomes us back. She asks them how they're doing so far and says that everybody's still there so far. Julie asks if James can hear her and we don't hear if he can or not and the cam shoots to the guinea pigs. He says it feels great to be around all the people that voted him out. She tries to tell him how the vote went. She tells him that 5 people voted him back in and 3 didn't. Houseguests, you all have a very long night ahead of you. But what would singles night be without something to celebrate with? Natalie guesses champagne. Julie tells her yes. Natalie asks if they can drink it. Julie tells her at their own risk. Julie tells them to settle in and hang on tight and that it's a battle of endurance.

:56 - Julie tells us to go watch the rest of the competition on the feeds. Find out on Sunday how the competition went. Same old same old. Reminds us of Big Brother After Dark.

:57 - Goes back outside to see how everybody's doing. Everybody hanging in there. Chelsia says it smells good. Credits rolling. Suds being shot out. Show's over!

What did you think about the show tonight? Can you believe that America voted for Alex? I can. I thought it was kinda shocking that Parker came in 2nd place in the votes though. Are you glad that James is back? Or do you wish it had been Alex that re-entered the house instead?

Penises Stick Together

In case you were unsure about what tonight's show would focus on, it was all about Operation Crooked Eye. Or Operation C. Well that's what us live-feeders knew it as. Those operation names were never mentioned on the show tonight. Oh, and please forgive me for the title of this post. I just couldn't pass up using such a great phrase that Sharon uttered.

It was a great show but the thing I was most upset about was how they didn't mention or even hint at how long the Matt/Natalie/Adam/Sheila group kept the covert covert operation a secret. And I'm not talking about Operation Crooked Eye. I'm talking about when the turnabout operation. Whether you like that group or not, what they did by keeping that a secret as long as they did was almost a miracle in and of itself. Especially when you consider that Natalie knew about it. But you know how it goes with her, whatever is in Matty's best interest is in her best interest. *puke*

So anyway, what we saw tonight was basically everything Operation Crooked Eye. Josh telling Ryan that Sharon's the biggest target, Matt telling Natalie not to plan on doing anything with the prize money because she may not be around the next week, Natalie crying on Sheila/Sharon/James' shoulder about how mean Matty is, and then Josh telling them that they'll be backdooring Matty this week and not to say a word to anybody. Of course, Natalie spilled all to Matt in the bathroom and he told her he wouldn't be so mean to her anymore.

Matty told Ryan all about the plan in the HOH room that night and then Josh came in and told Ryan about the plan the next day. Ryan told Josh that he already knew about the plan and Josh guessed that it was Matt that told him because of bigmouth Natalie. Matt then talked to Ryan up in the HOH bedroom and Ryan was still on board with the plan at that time.

Then came the Power of Veto competition. Ryan, Sharon, Chelsia, Adam, Sheila, and Josh were the ones competing while Matt was not too happy that Ryan didn't pick him since he drew houseguest's choice. Matt did wind up participating though -- as the announcer! He got to watch everybody win fabulous prizes and a unitard! The competition itself was boring as hell and I would have hated to have been one of the camera guys having to film the thing. The important thing was that Chelsia won the POV and Sheila wound up with the unitard because Ryan wanted Sheila's $10,000.

Then it all became about Sheila again. Poor little thing was stuck with a unitard because Ryan was so greedy and took $10,000 from little ol' her. I mean, she's a single mom and all and nobody could deserve that money more than her. Chelsia warned her later of playing the "single mom card" and Sheila didn't like being called out on that. As defensive as she was about the whole thing you'd think Sheila had never tried to play that card before. As if! It was hilarious that she actually cried about Ryan taking the money from her in the diary room. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I was unaware that Sheila was the only single mom in the world. I wished I could have told her to stop crying like such a tittie baby. And hey, if she really just wanted milk couldn't she have had Natalie provide that to her?

Anyway, Chelsia used the POV on herself and Ryan chose JAMES to go up in her place. Some were shocked at this decision and some weren't. Some were decent in their reaction and some weren't. Could Matty have been a bigger jerk after the announcement? And could somebody please take those porn sunglasses and stick them up his, uh, nose? I can't blame him for acting the way he did though. I'd probably be more than a little hyped up myself after the whole thing. I'd just like to think that somebody would give me more fashionable shades to wear inside during filming.

What did you think about Josh at the end of the show saying in the diary room that Matt may have won the battle but he'll win the war? And while Sheila did play a major role in all of this sneakiness going on, I don't think she should be calling herself a mastermind. Besides not being as creative as Jen with the unitard, she doesn't have anywhere near the smarts that Dr. Will had. Give it up single mom!

Now go vote for who you want back inside the house! Tonight is the last night! Then come back here and tell me what you thought about the show.

James or Sharon?

Who's staying?

James has really begun trying to work with people while Sharon's been trying to lay relatively low. James has been promising the moon and the stars to Matt, Ryan, and Adam. Sharon's been working Sheila.

As of this moment, who do you think will be staying? James or Sharon? Or is it still too early to call?

And who would you rather see stay in? James or Sharon?

Where Would You Draw The Line?

I'd like to ask you to put yourself in a hamster's shoes. You can pick somebody from this season or even the very first season -- it won't matter. You can pick your favorite hamster of all time or you can pick the one you despise(d) the most. Again, it won't matter.

Now imagine yourself in a situation similar to the one after the POV ceremony yesterday. Or a situation similar to Dick and Jen's cigarette fight last season. Or a situation similar to Michael and Cappy's "almost" physical fight from BB6. There are many more but you get the picture. Now you're in that position and everything's going crazy around you. How well do you think you'd be able to tell yourself in the middle of all of it, "This is just a game."

Because didn't you realize it was just a game going into the house? Surely you'd at least heard about the game even if it was only right before you auditioned. Friends or family might have told you how almost everything you say would be heard by thousands upon thousands of people who would then talk about it on the internet. They might have even told you that people were going to say bad things about you -- both in and out of the house. I mean, everybody's fighting for the money right along with you.

Or perhaps you thought of it as more of a cool place to crash for awhile and get to know some people. If you won some money along the way, hey that'd be nice too. Who am I kidding? Even those of you that fall into this category would wind up getting all caught up in the money once inside the house.

Either way, you'd quickly learn you can only be one of three people in the house. You could let it all hang out and be exactly who you are in real life. You could basically be yourself but embellish and lie about some things. Or you could be a completely different person than who you really are and hope you can keep it all together long enough to last until the end.

So when these explosive situations happen around you inside the house what would you do? Pardon my language but the words "cunt", "whore", "bitch", and soooo many others have been slung around the house since the first season. There's a mighty healthy dose of graphic sex talk each season. There's usually talk of illicit drug use, racial slurs that are uttered, and over-the-top religious discussions each season. Would you really be so offended or would you just pretend to be? Do you think you'd be on either the giving or receiving end of those words or those conversations?

What if somebody brought up your family in a mean-spirited way? What about if somebody dumped iced tea on your head or threw pickle juice at you? What if somebody ran at you as though they were going to hit you? What if somebody hid your belongings? What if somebody destroyed some of your belongings? How would you react? Could you imagine being upset enough that you would do any of these things to somebody in the house? Do you think that these behaviors should be considered part of the game? Remember, this is not your real life. Or is it?

So how would you act or react in these situations and where would you draw the line at acceptable behavior in the house? Is name-calling OK? Is making fun of somebody for what they said they've done OK? And what about pushing that increasingly stuffed envelope? Is that OK?

Crazy James Not Really Homeless

We've already learned on the feeds that James isn't exactly homeless and he's told all of us about his biking around the world. But are you interested in just a little bit more on how this all got started? Check out the blurb below and then click to read that person's complete post from November 2007 and find out just exactly what is going on with James.

Last week, a bunch of us here at POKE, had a very interesting experience. We routinely hold chat sessions to just talk to regular folks and understand their tech habits. On Friday, we had a bunch of guys come in for one such routine session. One of them was the Crazy James.

His story paraphrased, -- He is trying to spread peace and love in the world that is consumed by materialistic desires and he will bike around the world for just $100. We checked out the above video on his myspace site. And we totally admit that this kid's got balls. But once you get over that - it's a load of bullshit that irresponsible brands contribute to and perpetuate. Let's examine this a little more closely.

Click here to read the full post and to also check out a video. The article refers to his MySpace a lot so here's that link as well in case you didn't know it before.

Outhouse To The Penthouse

What another great show tonight! Besides the staple segments of the reactions from the previous eviction, the food competition, and the nomination ceremony there were plenty of other great moments tonight.

Before I begin, I know some of you may have been offended by the show tonight. In particular, the Bible and praying segments with Natalie and Josh. All I have to say is at least they didn't show them running around the house sprinkling their homemade Holy water everywhere. I think that would have offended many more people. Natalie quoting Joshua out of the Bible was priceless. "What goes into a man's mouth does not make him unclean but what comes out of his mouth, that is what really makes him unclean." Just wait until Natalie finds out what has come out of her precious Mattie's mouth. I mean, we already know what went into hers don't we?

But anyway, Josh praying in the hot tub was hilarious! I love the church music Big Brother plays in the background for these segments. He's sorry for verbally abusing people and needs more patience to handle the evil around him. Oh really! He's sorry for breaking almost every commandment and asks God for help. Cue the change in music. He wants God to help him with his diet and prays for a flatter stomach. He prays to God to let him win this game. Hahahaha!!!! Cue another change in music. He promises to tithe the full 10% of his funds to the church. Shoot to a scene in the sky of storm clouds. Wonderful editing Big Brother! Bravo!

I loved that Big Brother showed Natalie saying there were 27 letters in the alphabet. Who knew that "and" came before "Z"? And what about her having to count to four on her fingers? Even better was in the food competition when she told her team that she was a great speller. She went on to display her spelling prowess by telling them how to spell C-E-R-E-L. In case you didn't know, she meant cereal.

The icing on the Natalie cake though was her editing when it came to the wonderful Mattie. Come on, you can't tell me you didn't find the stalker/psycho music just a little bit funny. Especially when it was used several times during the episode! After Matt told her that he would be sleeping alone she informed us in the diary room that Mattie didn't really mean it. He's just like the little boy on the playground that teases the girl he likes. Um, OK Natalie. You keep telling yourself that.

Some of the other notable segments tonight included: James worried about Chelsia turning on him, Sheila crying to Adam about feeling alone in the house while he made tons of weird faces, James telling Chelsia in the sauna that he really likes her and her saying if she couldn't win this game she wants him to, Josh dancing around after waking up, Josh telling Ryan he'd be his bitch this week if he didn't put him up on the block, and James suggesting Chelsia to be put up on the block against Sharon.

What did you think about the show tonight? Did you have any favorite segments? Do you feel Big Brother was too harsh in their editing towards Natalie?

Don't forget to go vote for who you want back in the Big Brother house! Voting ends March 11th at 11:59 PM PT (March 12th at 2:59 AM ET).

Pickle Juice And Water

Things have been a little crazy since the POV ceremony to say the least!

Josh has been stirring up the most drama though out of all of them. He told Chelsia that Natalie has been telling everybody that Allison said her cootchie was stinky. Chelsia confronted Natalie about it and that didn't go far. Chelsia hid Natalie's Bible. Josh threw water on Natalie at the same time as James threw pickle juice on her. Sheila cried about the goings on in the house in between all of this by the way.

Josh wanted to spell A-B-O-R-T-I-O-N on Natalie's bed in ketchup but Big Brother told him he couldn't do it. Matt called Josh out on his behavior towards women (meaning Natalie) in the house. Adam told the underdogs that he had no idea what was going to happen today (LIE) and they believed it. Nobody has said anything to Ryan really since the POV ceremony except for James who told him he understood it's a game and that he will fight to stay in the game.

Everybody's still all wound up right now and the drama definitely isn't over for the night. If your feeds aren't on, you should turn them on NOW and then keep them on!

One Large Order Of Drama Coming Up

Regardless of which side of the house you're on, you have to admit that today is going to be a fantabulous day! Will we have drama? Check. Will we have yelling? Check. Will we have crying? Check. Will we have an overload of testosterone? Check. Check.

Personally, I don't really care for Matt and wish he was the one going up on the block but it doesn't really bother me either that James will be going up instead. Ryan is doing what's best for him and the group that he's aligned himself with is the stronger one. Then throw in the fact that Alex, Amanda, or Allison will be back in the house and it means that group will only become stronger.

What do you think everybody's reactions will be after the POV ceremony today? And are you as excited about the upcoming drama as I am?

ETA at 12:01 PM - Flames! Woohoo!

ETA at 12:12 PM - False alarm. Boo!

ETA at 12:53 PM - Flames again! I think this is it! *HD dances around the living room*

ETA at 1:23 PM - We're back!

ETA at 1:29 PM - James is definitely up on the block against Sharon. When the feeds came back on, Sheila and Matt were consoling Sharon and talking to her about her alliance with Josh. Now, Chelsia is upset in the backyard and talking with Matt, Adam, and Ryan.

Slop Fight

I don't know if you were watching yesterday when the slop fight happened but it was hilarious. It took them hours to clean up too! BTW, MiniClownZ edited the above clip to remove the nudity involved when James and Chelsia showered in the backyard.

POV For Pinky & Operation C

You have to love how much can change in the Big Brother house in such a short period of time. It was just 24 hours ago that Ryan nominated Sharon and Chelsia with the intent of Sharon going home. Now? The plan is to backdoor Matt. In case you're confused, read on.

It really came out last night that Matt has been playing everybody (especially the girls) by telling them he has their back and will look out for them and yada yada yada. Josh hatched a plan to help get Sharon off the block and with the backing of the house (except for Adam who had been left in the dark) approached Ryan this morning with the plan. Mind you, Ryan already knew the house was interested in back-dooring Matt because Natalie told Matt (when they were making up after yet another fight) and Matt told Ryan. Anyway, what Ryan didn't know was that he would also be given a two-week immunity on behalf of everybody from being nominated for eviction or being back-doored. Two weeks!

Before the Power of Veto competition today, it was pretty much a given that Ryan was going to take this deal and he wanted to be reassured by everybody. They affirmed what Josh had told him and now everybody just had to wait until the POV competition was over to see how things would fall. Sheila, Adam, and Josh were chosen to play in the POV competition along with Ryan, Sharon, and Chelsia who were competing due to their positions in the house.

When the feeds came back on today, we found out that Chelsia had won the POV. This was the best case scenario for the Operation C plan. The only thing left to do was have Sharon promise to Ryan also that she would give him two weeks immunity and she did. Operation C is a total go and we're going to see a lot of action out of Matt trying to save himself these next few days. We're also going to see a lot more double-talking and lying out of Natalie when she finds out that the plan is definitely in motion.

And speaking of the POV competition, there were "prizes" awarded (in some way) to those that participated. Ryan won $10,000, Sharon won a week-long slop pass (she's not using it for this week), Chelsia won the Power Of Veto (that's prize enough), Adam won a motorcycle, Josh won a letter from home, and Sheila won a red unitard that she has to wear in the house (a la Jen from BB8). The competition involved prize balls and trading or taking from or with the others. The particulars aren't really important to me -- just the end results.

So what are your feelings on Operation C? Do you think the plan to backdoor Matt is a good one or do you think Ryan should do something else?

ETA at 6:20 PM - Operation C (Crooked Eye) has crumbled. Ryan's spilling all to Matt, Natalie, Adam, and Sheila. Josh will be going up in Chelsia's place as of right now. Of course, things could change. LMAO!!!

Pawn With A Pink Streak

As you might know already, the nomination plans were changed mid-afternoon today. Ryan had originally planned on putting Sheila and Sharon up on the block together but was talked out of it. Actually, it was more like he was shown the light.

Ryan's ultimate plan is for Sharon to go home this week. While Matt really tried to push him to put Josh up on the block against Sharon, James and Adam helped talk him into putting Chelsia up against the voice-screeching wallflower. Adam's main reason was that he wants to be the one to put Sheila up on the block himself but, regardless of the reason, Ryan made the right choice.

Sheila wouldn't win the POV. I have no absolutely no hesitation stating that. Sharon would run circles around Sheila in either a physical or mental competition. She needed to be put up against somebody that would give her some competition. Chelsia is that person. Chelsia has a better chance out of all of the women in the house to beat Sharon in the POV. It doesn't hurt Chelsia either that she's part of the Bros alliance -- well more than the other women anyway. Ryan and the other Bros want the Hos out of the house and have promised Chelsia that she's safe for the week. Just in case things go wrong and Sharon wins the POV and takes herself off the block, it will be Sheila that goes up and gets voted out.

I can't blame Chelsia for feeling a little apprehensive about their plans. How many times have we seen the pawn go home? Somebody? Anybody?

Do you think Ryan's nominations were smart? And let's be honest here, does anybody else feel that Ryan should have answered that last question incorrectly and let Adam win HOH?

Drama To The Max

What a great live show tonight! Of course, tonight's show was even better because of everything that went down. Don't you know it just killed Joshuah to not be interviewed by Julie up in the HOH room? Little Princess Drama Queen will surely bring it up in the week to come. Josh must have to know he's a huge target this week.

And what about Ryan winning the HOH? Who of you out there saw that one coming? Those were some pretty hard questions in the competition tonight. And the chances of him of all people actually winning it? I mean, his partner just left the house and then he's the new HOH after earning it all on his own? You know many of them in the house are wanting to poop their drawers at what happened tonight.

Who do you want to be voted back into the house? I really want to vote Alex back in but all the guys will gang up and really run a train on the women then. Perhaps another girl is what the house needs to balance out Allison not being there. Do you think Amanda would do better in the house a second time around? What about Jen? Perhaps even Allison again? Surely they will have some kind of immunity when they come back and then they'll probably be the biggest target in the following week.

How much did you love Allison's reactions tonight? She went from being so excited and staying in (just watching her trying to open the door had me rolling with laughter) and then to watch her face as she was evicted by a vote of 6-0? I LOVED it! I can only imagine how much she's bawling right now. And you know when Jen finds out about all of this that she'll be laughing her rear off. It should give Ryan and Jen plenty to talk about later on.

There are so many ways this game could go right now! And you have to love all of them scurrying to try to set up alliances right now. Just wait until they find out somebody will be coming back in after all!

ETA - Click HERE to vote. The polls will close at 11:59 PM PT on March 11, 2008 (2:59 AM ET March 12). The person possibly re-enters the house during the live show on March 12. We have one week to vote. Keep that in mind.

Liveblogging - Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

-:80 - I am so excited about tonight's live show! I couldn't tell you the last time I was this excited about a Big Brother episode! You can follow along with the show (8:00 PM ET) by refreshing this page and/or joining in to chat. I'm going to use Gabbly again this week for chat since it seemed to go well last week.

-:12 - A fun little video before the show starts.

:00 - Show starting! Previously on Big Brother....

:03 - Hi Julie! Black sweater and chunky silver jewelry. It's day 28 and tension in the house hit an all-time house. Josh turned on Allison due to her joke about her relationship with Sheila. Tonight, the houseguests think it's the end of the line for A/S or A/R but what they don't know is that a shocking surprise is about to rock the BB house and it's going to happen tonight.

:04 - But first, a mysterious alarm has the HGs on edge as they try to figure out which couple should stay and which couple should go. Footage from Matt/Natalie removing themselves from the block at the POV ceremony and Josh/Sharon putting up Adam/Sheila. Sheila in DR says she doesn't like being on the block. Allison in DR says it's time for her and Sheila to go their separate ways. Matt says in DR that it's his and Nat's turn to start calling the shots around here and whoever stays in the house owes them a favor this week.

:05 - James in DR talking about the sound. He says if the siren goes off, some things may not turn out so well in the house for people. Sheila in backyard says she's going to sleep in her sweats. Nat/Josh upstairs on couch talk about it going off that evening. Sheila/Matt/James/Adam in backyard talking about what the siren could mean. Matt says it wasn't a pleasant-sounding horn. Josh asks Natalie what kind of feeling she has about it and she says she has a scared feeling.

:06 - Allison with Ryan by the pool in the backyard. She tells him she doesn't think it looks good for them and asks if he trusts them. He says he does and she says they need to talk to Matty. Ryan later talks to Matt and asks if he's on his side. Matt says he is and he doesn't need to keep asking about it. Matt says he's set up and is guaranteed. Matt in DR says he's playing both sides and wants the couples to think one vote is from him this week so that they owe him next week. Matt tells Adam the same thing he told Ryan earlier. Matt then tells Allison same thing and tells them the votes will be 2-0. Matt tells Sheila same thing. Matt in DR says he's going to look like a hero in all of this.

:08 - Allison in DR says that she believes Matt/Natalie will vote for her and Ryan to stay in the house. She goes to talk to Chelsia/James on hammock. James tells her they haven't been making promises to anybody. Allison tells them to think about who they'll be spending their time in the house with and she seriously believes that Matt will vote to keep them there. James tells her that Matt voting for that would be a far stretch and that's his gut feeling. Allison says that Matt has been nothing but honest to her about everything.

:09 - James/Sheila talk in sauna room. Sheila asks about their vote. James says he's not going to say. Sheila tells him that Matt/Natalie are voting for her (Sheila/Adam) to stay. James in DR says that Matt has promised to keep both couples. James talks to Matt at pool table in backyard in front of Ryan and Adam and others watching on couch. James says he doesn't care how Matt votes but he does care that he's telling everybody he's voting for them. Matt tells him he doesn't care what he thinks. James tells Matt he wants both couples to know that he's playing them. Matt says it's Big Brother. Matt says you want to throw people under the bus? James says no and just wants both couples to know they're getting played. Matt says both couples know where he stands and if James doesn't know then that's not his problem.

:11 - Julie tells us that coming up she'll let us know what the siren means. And when it comes to Natalie and Matt it seems they're on separate pages.

:12 - Natalie/Matt in DR. Natalie thinks they should get rid of Allison because she's negative and stirs up the pot. Matt says that her negative skills may help them and that Ryan is a stand-up kid. Chelsia/James in DR. Chelsia thinks they should keep Adam/Sheila because they're not a big threat. James says that Adam/Sheila don't even deserve to be there. She's not thankful. Commercial.

:17 - Julie welcomes us back. Time to go to the living room and check in with everybody. Asks them about the siren and what they think it might mean. James thinks it might mean they'll split up and go solo. Mentions people wearing foil on their heads. Matt says he's heard stories about there being an identical Big Brother house next to theirs that has exes and they'll all go at it. Julie asks Sharon about her current partner and the most surprising thing she's learned about Joshuah in 28 days. Sharon says there's always a smile on his face. Sharon says she broke Jacob's picture last night and you never know about a reconciliation between her and Jacob. Julie shows Natalie and everybody else Natalie and Matt's reaction to winning the POV. They're laughing. Natalie says the best thing about winning was just a relief because she wanted another week in the house. Julie asks if Matt owes Natalie a massage. He said technically but maybe.

:20 - Julie says that Natalie maintains she has strong feelings for Matt. Friends back home give us some insight on why they think their relationship is going south. Matt/Natalie on hammock and he's telling her that he needs to be left alone sometimes. At Natalie's work in Oregon, we meet Nicole (co-worker). Says Natalie is a free spirit and is an extremely talented artist. She follows her heart and is very much looking for love. Carmel (another co-worker) says the reason their relationship is not working out is because she lets guys walk all over her. Colleen (Nat's sister) says she thinks Natalie's falling for Matt and that's not good for her. BTW, Colleen sounds almost exactly like Natalie except with a deeper voice.

:22 - In Boston, Kevin (friend) says that Matt's mind is set on the money. He's a hard worker (roofer) and he's sure he doesn't want to do that for much longer. Kevin says he's had a couple of strong relationships and when he falls for a girl he really falls for her. Nicole (Nat co-worker) thinks Natalie finding a soulmate might be more important.

:23 - Who have the houseguests chosen to evict? Ryan/Allison or Sheila/Adam? When the evicted couple reaches the front door, the siren will go off and the entire game as the houseguests know it will change. Find out what this mysterious siren means when we return. Commercial.

:26 - Julie welcomes us back. Says the houseguests have already cast their vote to evict. They think one of the couples will be going home but as one of them attempts to leave they'll find out the front door is locked. Everybody will have to return to the living room and will find out the game is changing. they'll be playing as individuals. The couples will be split up and only one of the evicted couple will be leaving tonight.

:28 - It's time to find out who will be evicted.

:28 - By a vote of 2-0, Allison and Ryan your housemates have decided to evict you. Everybody's hugging.

:29 - Allison's trying to open the door but it doesn't open. Ryan asks for the door. Siren goes OFF!!! Ryan says they aren't gone yet. Allison screaming and jumping up and down!!! Josh looks upset. LOL!!!

:29 - Julie asks everybody to return to their seats. Has an important announcement for them. Julie asks Allison how they feel. Ryan feels good because the game might change. Julie tells everybody that they are no longer couples. Everybody jumps up and hugs and screams. Julie tells them they're all playing -- settle down -- all playing for yourself. Whether you decide to stay married or take your own bed will be up to each of you. As of this moment, your partner is now your competition. Allison and Ryan, only one of you will be leaving tonight. Houseguests, in a moment you'll be voting live to evict EITHER Allison or Ryan. Julie says that Sharon and Josh still hold HOH and will only vote in the case of a tie. Julie leaves them to ponder their decisions.

:31 - Julie asks us now that it's Allison and Ryan on the chopping block, who will be the first single houseguest evicted? Stay tuned. Commercial.

:35 - Julie welcomes us back. Reminds us they're playing as individuals. Julie tells them that one by one they'll go to the DR to cast their vote. Allison and Ryan have one final chance to save themself. Ryan tells everybody that he's enjoyed his time there and would like the opportunity to spend yet another time on the block (everybody laughs). Allison is crying and says it's really hard to say something against somebody she's grown to respect a lot. She says they both want to be here but that she really wants to here and she has a lot more she wants to do here and really wants to stay but she'd be happy if Ryan stayed too.

:37 - Time for the live voting. Adam is up first. Adam votes to evict Allison. Chelsia votes to evict Allison. Matt votes to evict Allison. Sheila votes to evict ALLISON. Julie tells us it's official that Allison will be leaving tonight. Natalie votes to evict Allison. James votes to evict Allison.

:39 - The votes are in. Julie tells the house that this time when you leave it will be permanent. Allison, by a vote of 6-0 you have been evicted from the Big Brother house. Allison kinda knew it and you could tell. She walks off barely hugging anybody. Everybody celebrating.

:40 - Allison meets Julie. Back to the house where everybody's celebrating and hugging and excited. Sharon looks like she's in shock. Natalie's beside herself she's so excited.

:41 - Julie asks how surprised Allison is to be sitting there alone. Allison said it doesn't feel good and she's on the verge of a major breakdown. Julie asks why Allison would make up having an outside relationship with Sheila. Allison says it was a joke and it was just to get a reaction out of everybody but that unfortunately it went further than it was supposed to. Allison says it wasn't supposed to be detrimental to her in the game and it wasn't really her idea. It was a mistake and you can't turn back time.

:42 - Time for goodbye messages. Matt says she's a great girl and hope they can chill back in Boston. Natalie hopes she's not mad at her and hopes she hugs a tree for her out in the real world. Josh says saying your gay is not something to be thrown around lightly. Sheila says she will miss her.

:43 - Julie asks Allison about the best part of this experience. Allison says that it was to go in without any real plan and to meet people from all walks of life. She didn't go into the game to hurt anybody but learning about herself and other people is what she'll take from the game.

:44 - Who has what it takes to be the first single HOH? Find out next. They're all walking out to backyard where there are booths set up. Commercial.

:48 - Julie welcomes us back and tells us that the HOH is the most important position in the house. Who will be the first single HOH of the season. Tonight's competition is called "Time After Time". Will be asked a series of true/false questions about the order of things that happened in the house. Answer correctly and you move on, if you're wrong, you're out, if all wrong they'll move on to next question.

:51 - Q1 - Jacob told the house he overheard somebody calling Parker a snake before he won $10,000 - Correct answer is false and everybody moves on

:51 - Q2 - On a live show, Josh said he's such a family man and can't wait to see a picture of his family after the Republic primaries - Correct answer is true - James and Natalie wrong and eliminated

:52 - Q3 - In the game The Perfect Match, Josh dressed as royalty before he dressed as a pool boy - Correct answer is False (camera cut to shot of hamster in cage) and Chelsia, Matt, Sheila wrong and eliminated - down to Ryan and Adam

:52 - Q4 - In a previous live show, Julie asked all of them to raise their hands if they were confident there were no other couples in the house before Amanda's trip to the emergency room - Correct answer is true - both wrong and move on

:52 - Q5 - The houseguests found out about the Hudson River virus before the house voted to lose hot water for 72 hours - Both answer false and are correct - next question

:53 - Q6 - In the game In Sickness and In Health, Alex and Amanda were eliminated before Parker and Jen - Ryan answers true and Adam answers false - Correct answer is true - RYAN IS THE NEW HOH!!! He gets the key from Josh/Sharon. Everybody's hugging each other.

:53 - Julie asks how the game will change now that that Ryan is the new HOH. She says they shouldn't get too comfortable because the surprises aren't over yet. When we return, find out how we can take the game to a whole new level. Commercial.

:55 - Julie tells us we can find out who Ryan nominates for eviction on Sunday. Next live eviction is on Wednesday. America, it's time for you to get involved in the game. Evicted houseguests Jacob, Jen, Parker, Amanda, and Alex have not returned to their regular lives and instead have been isolated from the outside world. With your help, one of them including the newly evicted Allison, will get the chance to shake things up by returning to the game. Go to CBS.com to VOTE NOW for the houseguest you'd like to see return. The polls will close at 11:59 PM PT on March 11, 2008 (2:59 AM ET March 12). Then, next week, see if your choice makes it back into the house.

:57 - Eavesdropping on the houseguests as the show closes out. Everybody still talking about being singles now. Show's over!

So what in the world do you think about all of this? Are you happy with the way things have turned out? Who do you want to come back into the house next week?

Cupid Is As Cupid Does

What a great show tonight! If you've missed the last couple of shows or haven't been following the feeds as diligently as you could be, this was the show to watch to get you all caught up. Shorter segments that actually explained something important instead of just fluff was the order of the night. The editing was especially better than usual so big props to those folks! Well there was a ton of good stuff in the show so let's go to it.

The show picked up right after the nomination ceremony with JoshuaH patting himself on the back for being a good boy and not attacking Allison during the ceremony. Matt told us in the Diary Room that the house is really concerned with getting Allison out this week so he's not worried. Shoot to Chelsia then saying in the DR that she and James want Matt/Natalie out as they're the biggest threats.

There was quite a bit of fighting shown on tonight's episode. All of the bickering was really the only problem I had with the show. They didn't show enough of it! But I guess if they had shown more we wouldn't have seen so many interesting clips (like Natalie stalking Matt or Sharon not falling for Matt's kissy-kissy smooth moves). The Sheila/Adam fight was the first one shown tonight and so much of it was cut out but by the end of it they were kinda OK with each other again. Oh, how about them showing James acting as if he was the wall in their argument? It was so hilarious!!!

We also saw part of the huge Matt/Natalie fight. It actually lasted for a couple of hours on the feeds with the first half of it carried on in front of the other hamsters in the living room. None of that footage was shown but we did see broken bits from when they picked back up in the bedroom. We were also treated to more bickering between Allison and JoshuaH. And why am I typing his name as JoshuaH tonight? Well, it's because of the way that Allison says his name. She never says Josh. It's always JoshuaH. Extra emphasis on the H please. I say that I can't stand that girl but nobody can say she doesn't help the drama factor. You have to love that constant questioning look on her face when she's arguing with somebody. If she stays, could we have an America's Choice and choose for her to have Botox please? Ms. Grodner, are you listening?

The Power of Veto competition was a pretty good one this week. How could you not laugh at the guys not giving the girls enough time to pick up their puzzle pieces before they took off (and in turn hoisting the ladies up in the air) again? The frustrated looks from the women were priceless. Did you catch Matty falling down on his face? And what in the world did you think about Allison screeching at Ryan almost the entire time? Woman, we know you want to win but did you really have to yell at him like a dog? Silly me, I forgot who I was talking about. Of course, we already know that Matt and Natalie won the competition, took themselves off the block, and Adam/Sheila were put up in their place.

Perhaps the most important segment of tonight was the siren one. They were told that sometime in the coming weeks, a siren would sound and when it did they would have to gather in the living room and wait for an important announcement. That's interesting in and of itself but the most important thing was what we were told at the end of tonight's show. To quote, "What is the meaning of the mystery sound that has the houseguests in a panic? Find out live tomorrow night." If you don't have the feeds, right now might be a good time to sign up for them. Tomorrow night should be quite the interesting one!

So what did all of you think about tonight's show? There were tons of great segments but did you have a favorite one? Who do you think will be going home tomorrow - Ryan/Allison or Adam/Sheila? Do you have any more thoughts on the siren and what it means?

It's Stressful Being On The Block

I'm watching yet another blow-up in the Big Brother house and all I can do is shake my head.

These people are all pissed off that others aren't telling them the truth. Can you just imagine me laughing right now? Matt's trying to portray himself as this honest and forthcoming individual. James is telling the truth in that he hasn't promised his vote to anybody. Sheila's piping in with her confusion. Now Natalie is blessing Chelsia? Oh, that's rich. James pointing out that this is a game. In case you're wondering, Allison is asleep right now and Josh is merely watching this drama and not saying a word.

I'm perplexed by these people. I wonder if some of them are really this stupid. Is their stupidity just an act? Do they really have no ability to keep their emotions in check? So many of these hamsters have supposedly watched previous seasons of Big Brother yet seem to have no clue as to how the game is played.

Their stupidity is amusing though. And I have to give Princess Josh major props for just listening and not saying a word. At this moment. Later, he'll be talking about their nasty vaginas to Sharon up in the HOH room. But hey, whatever works right?

The Wrath Of Princess Joshuah

Allison was the center of attention in yet another episode of Big Brother this week. Well, her and Joshuah. The whole show focused almost entirely on the fighting going on between the two.

At least we finally saw for ourselves how the whole ordeal started. We've been hearing about it on the feeds since Wednesday night so to actually see it was one big to-do about nothing is hilarious. Basically, Josh was mad that he and Sharon had been pressured by Allison to vote Alex and Amanda out to make it a 3-0 vote. Seeing Amanda so upset at being evicted caused him to be upset and he said in front of Allison but not to Allison, "She isn't even crying. She's a heartless bitch." And that's where it all began.

Josh and Sharon went on to win the HOH competition and rubbed it in everybody's faces with their celebration. Allison took the celebrating (and being eliminated in the competition) personally and got into it with Joshuah later that evening. He called her an ugly skank and made fun of her wearing her ugly dress again on national television. James got Josh to chill out for a little bit but it didn't take too long for them to start at each other's throats again. Josh walked by Allison (who was talking to Matt/Ryan/James about Josh) and made a couple more smart ass comments. She had been playing the victim role big time by the way.

Allison was then crying in the diary room saying she's not going to put up with this. Allison then went to cry in the bathroom where Ryan tried to console her. It didn't stop her from going after Matt and Ryan a little bit later for not taking up for her when Josh was "attacking" her. While everybody else in the house was up in the HOH room checking out Josh and Sharon's goodies, Allison was going to bed downstairs. We saw Princess Joshuah get his princess tiara but we never saw any mention of that five-foot rule between the two did we? We also saw Josh make a big deal about the whole lesbian lie between Allison and Sheila tonight. Seeing his diary rooms about the lie though made it crystal clear to me at least that he was being a bit overly dramatic about the whole thing. I think he was just mad at himself for getting taken for a ride.

In other news, Matt and Natalie made out. Big Brother, of course, didn't show the television viewing audience any of the oral lovin' she gave him or even Matt's big smile to the camera afterward. They did show us the pinky swear between the two that she wouldn't get emotionally attached to him. I guarantee you we'll see that pinky swear shown again before the season's over. We also saw the super lame Big Ass-Paragus food competition. Everybody won their food group except for Matt and Natalie. Matt was way off on the weight so that's why the house doesn't have carbs or a feast this week.

After watching Natalie paint a portrait of Joshuah on a paper towel with nail polish, we saw more Allison and Josh fighting. He called her a horrible, flat-chested, ugly bitch. She tells him he looks stupid. He told her to put makeup on that third eye of hers. She called him immature and attacked what she believed to be his lack of education. He called a house meeting upstairs in the HOH room with everybody except her and Ryan. She called him a drama queen but later told Ryan that she thinks she can flip him back to their side. Hahahahaha! Allison later apologized to Josh in the HOH room in front of Sharon but that fell on deaf ears.

The nominations weren't unexpected in the least. Josh/Sharon nominated Ryan/Allison and Matt/Natalie. Matt and Natalie are the pawns with the ultimate goal being Ryan and Allison's ouster. Big Brother even got Matt to say in the diary room that he was pissed about being nominated again. Whatever! He knew beforehand that he and Natalie were going to be nominated.

So what did you think about the show tonight? Did it clear anything up for you? And perhaps this only happens with Comcast customers but why in the hell does the show end at 7 minutes before the next hour? Do I really need to see even more commercials? I don't think so. But back to the show, what are your thoughts?

Fighting And Sirens

Is anybody else sick of the bickering going on between Allison and Sheila? I love watching the fighting in the house every now and again but this is all just ridiculous. Allison is just so fake and Sheila is just so sensitive. I'm at the point to where both of them almost make my ears bleed when I hear them on the feeds.

Now that they're both on the block, it's only going to get worse. After the feeds came back on after the POV meeting today, Sheila was talking about how Allison tried to act sympathetic towards her after she and Adam were put on the block in place of Matt and Natalie. I can't blame her for rebuffing her. I'd be all up in her grill saying, "Bitch, please." And why in the world hasn't Allison changed her outfit yet? This stripper heels and mini-skirt look she currently has going on just is not working. But anyways, the people I feel for in all of their drama is Ryan and Adam. They're just innocent bystanders in all of this cattiness.

To add to the tension in the house, the hamsters are also waiting for a siren to sound. It will be going off sometime in the coming weeks and when they hear it they have to gather in the living room and follow the directions given to them at that time. I wonder when Big Brother will sound the alarm. In the middle of the night? Right after another blow-up in the house? During another one of James and Chelsia's makeout sessions? Will it be before or after the eviction and twist this week? I'm dying to know!

Me In The Big Brother House?

I was asked recently if I would want to be a hamster in the Big Brother house. And since it's been a relatively slow weekend concerning the hamsters I thought I'd take a little time to ponder the idea. Would I want to be cooped up in a house with a bunch of strangers and be watched by all you weirdos (hehe) and have you pick apart my every word and movement? In typical HamsterDame fashion, part of me says yes and part of me says no.

The yes part of me thinks I could actually go pretty far in the house. I consider myself a person that's fairly easy to get along with. I can talk to just about anyone about most everything under the sun so I would have the conversationalist part down. Some might consider it one-sided though. When talking with others, I tend to want to know more about them and their thoughts and experiences without giving up much about myself. If you want to know something about me, you're going to have to come right out and ask. That could either be good or bad in the game. So I would probably have to cough up some info (even if it's false) to build those oh so trusting relationships in the house. I wouldn't be interested in what people thought of my clothes or hair or makeup. Go ahead and call me a "6". I don't care.

I was specifically asked to address the issue of skeletons in my closet possibly coming to light for all the world to see. That's a more interesting angle to delve into. I'd like to think that all of us have something in our past, or possibly present, that we don't necessarily want everyone to know about. I don't think any of my skeletons are so bad that it would cause my world to crash down around me or make me the laughingstock of the nation. I smoked a few joints back in high school. It wasn't my thing and I never went on to try anything harder. I've had a few too many drinks occasionally and done some stupid things, but again, nothing too bad. I've been married once, and then divorced, under "normal" circumstances. There was no scandal involved there. I don't have any DUIs, never had an abortion, and am not or have ever been involved in any nefarious business doings. So I think I'm OK on the skeleton front.

With all of that said, the no part of me would probably win out and keep me out of the Big Brother house. I'm more of a watcher than anything. I like watching people's actions and reactions from afar. Seeing a woman brush her fingers through her hair when a handsome man appears, a man squaring his jaw as he concentrates on a crossword puzzle, a couple of kids playing with their toys engrossed in fantasy: that is what I prefer. How people act in the environment around them is my thing.

That's what makes the Big Brother live feeds so fun to watch. Watching them build relationships with each other and then tear them down only to build them back up again is fascinating. We, the feed watchers, see things that would never make it onto the show. We learn to tell when someone is lying by the tone of their voice and their body language. And we can't forget the inevitable nipple slips and naughty language. With varying degrees, we are all fascinated by those moments. Don't even try to deny it. You can tell others you aren't interested in some juiciness but you know damned well you are.

So while I think I could handle being in the Big Brother house just fine, I would much rather watch the hamsters myself. What about you? Would you want to be in the Big Brother house and scrutinized by so many? Or are you more of a watcher like me?
