So excited for our extra dose of Big Brother this year. The cast looks like a young good looking group of people. Should be easy on the eyes for the viewers to watch them, lol.

OMG HD I know one of the house guest Alex we went to High school together and used to hang out at the local bar together I cant even believe he is going to be on it will def. be an interesting season!!!!

I hate the fact that 15 of the 16 are twenty-somethings. How about some people with some more extended life experiences? Not sure what the "Til Death" twist entails, but it just looks like the producers were trying to set up a bunch of hot hook-ups to make money off the Showtime broadcasts.

Frankly, some of the most interesting and entertaining characters from BB in the past have been people who had a few years behind them.

Here's some food for thought: Another website indicates that Alex's last name is Stein. And he's from New York. So could he be Eric's brother?

Also I just have to say I'm not sure about this latest twist. Why can't the producers just let the hamsters live under the microscope 24/7? Wouldn't that be interesting enough?

Pat - the two (Alex and Eric) look like they could be related.

I like twists - - it's just that I can always think up much more interesting ones than the producers. America's Choice really turned out to be Producer's Puppet. Not fun.

How about a twist where the person voted off gets to nominate the next two guests for eviction and instead of having "head of household," you have "dog house," where one person has to sleep outside in a dog house, eat slop and rough it?

the interior of the house is BLECH. not pleasing to the eye at all.

i have to say i was hoping for a better diverse crowd & a few more "older" house guests.

I agree, they should have had some more diversity in the HGs. They all kind of seem to look alike, similar demographic.
I hope it does not get boring bc of that.

Alex does kind of look like (a better looking) Eric but Stein is a popular name, although on BB, you never know. That could be a twist.

Okay - I finally got a chance to go through all the bios on CBS. Here's my thoughts.

Most had college degrees or were in college / military. Some, despite the young age, had some unique world experiences. For example - Allison is a failed gambler, part owner of a pottery studio, and donated 1000 hours to orphanages around the world.

Sheila - even though she is the oldest - might act the youngest. She might be a tad spoiled, having lived with Bob Guccione in his million dollar mansion and having been a Penthouse Pet of the year. She admits to having a temper and crying a lot (please - not another Amber!)

Adam - though not a looker - claims to be a cassanova. James is a self-professed "freak." Parker works for the TMZ papparazzi. Apparently, a bikini "barista" is someone who wears bikinis and enters contests. That is Natalie - and she is very religious. So is Jacob. Joshuah and Neil are both gay. Joshuah also has a fear of snakes. So - I'm sure that they'll have a snake in the big tank in the house -- and the snakes 'food' will be in the little tank at the other end that's connected by a tube.

So - - I think each of the guests might have been chosen as a soulmate for another guest - and perhaps they will have to figure out who BB intended that they pair up with? I've taken a stab at the pairings, based on the bio, alone.

JOSHUAH / NEIL (both gay)

AMANDA / ALEX - close in age, both claim to be romantics

JACOB / NATALIE - both religious

ADAM / SHEILA - only because Adam (29) is the oldest guy. Not sure she'll go for him, but he does think he's a Cassanova.

CHELSIA / JAMES - he is a "freak" and riding a bicycle cross-country. She likes motorcycles and has everything pierced. James is, definitely, the hardest to find a pair for, so I'm not confident in this one.

RYAN / SHARON - he wants someone pretty and intelligent. Sharon is pretty - - not sure about how intelligent, however. He is stubborn and opinionated; she is loud and dramatic. Might not be good temperaments to combine, but we'll see.

ALLISON / PARKER - She is fairly eclectic world traveler who donates time to orphanages. He is papparazzi who likes to laugh at the expense of others and who doesn't like working. But opposites attract?

MATT / JEN - by default, they are last two left. She's a special ed teacher and he's a sweet-talking roofing foreman who lies. She might be fooled by him . . . or maybe her experience as a bartender will make her more adept at handling him.

Just got a chance to take a look at this list and have just a couple of comments.

My major comment is that I'm glad BB is back but I hate hate hate the idea that once again they have to have some "catch" or "twist". Soul Mates???? Why oh why can't they just bring in a bunch of people who don't know each other, have no connection, and are a mixture of ages, talents, and intelligence? It seems that it always turns out that their "twists" ruin the show each season.

Does anyone else see the likeness between Chelsia and Sharon? They look like they could be siblings... maybe from the same sperm donor or something? They have a distinctive look to them so it's very apparent to me.
