Chelsia and Josh were way out of line last night. Chelsia shouldn't have even mentioned a noose (sp?) but Josh really crossed the line by saying "... kill yourself like your Dad did." Sadly, that's not the first time he's said that, either.
Yes, Alex has touched Amanda inappropriately. Has he raped her? No. Has she ever told him to knock it off? Yes. I don't care what she's wearing, no means NO. Alex seems to think that since they're partners, he is entitled to f**k her. For all we know, that girl could be a virgin. And I find it rather funny that since Amanda rejected Alex in favor of Parker, she's a stupid bitch and now he can't stand her. Is that a hurt ego I see. Why yes it is.
I know this seems like a pro-Amanda post, but I'm not really. I just feel for her. Like Sheila said, she's just young and dumb. Evict her and let that be that.

Thank goodness for this site and instant recaps such as the joker's site. Keeping up with all the drama this year AND so early in the season, is like a full-time job.

This season is like one-long "whisper down the lane," game - where someone says something, and it is interpreted differently and repeated differently by someone else until it reaches the subject of the comment who then explodes and starts another chain.

Amanda said she wasn't going to take her top off in the jacuzzi because she didn't want to be a slut. Natalie interprets that as having been called a slut - and since she did take off her top AND bottom on national TV, and gave "Matty" a BJ on national TV, I think the title appropriate.

Then Amanda says she never said anything about Natalie - only that she, herself, didn't want to be a slut by taking off her top. Does Amanda not "get" how her comment DID, in fact, call Natalie a slut - be it indirectly or by inference? I guess not.

I didn't hear Chelsia's comment about Angela "hanging herself" in this game. If said, it IS inappropriate. Wasn't it Chelsia who didn't know what a "noose" was, earlier in the night? Chelsia was also amongst the girls that Amanda complained to concerning Joshuah's comment.

Allegedly, Joshuah told Angela that she should kill herself like her dad did, or words to that effect. I didn't hear the original comment, however, only Amanda's crying about it later. Not sure if it was recounted acccurately.

Amanda is also not claiming to have said "rape," only that he tried to touch her and she didn't want to be touched. Apparently, Alex admitted to this much - - just not any "sleep fingering," which is where the whisper down the lane game took the comment. I don't think Amanda is claiming any insertion occurred.

Figuring out where the truth lies IS a full-time job. Between the feeds not showing everything, but four selected views at selected times, and then Showtime flipping back and forth amongst views, then the episodes showing stuff we didn't see on the feeds at all (Diary room, competitions and views otherwise blocked), it's like a big jigsaw puzzle that has to be completed, where you don't know what the final puzzle looks like and where you are missing many pieces. Add to that, the fact that the players can't seem to remember accurately what they said, or repeat, accurately, what they hear, and the puzzle pieces get even more difficult to fit into the solution.

Add a day job and the need to sleep, sometime - - and it's too much to keep up with this season.

Thanks, Hamster Dame, for trying to make sense of all of this. You've downplayed Johsuah's comment to Amanda, while chastizing Chelsia for her "pun." Is this because the Joshuah comment didn't happen as Amanda claims? I'm still trying to figure THAT puzzle piece out.

From HD - You've said a ton in this comment but let me say I didn't downplay Josh's comments. I addressed them at the beginning of the post. I find that word offensive but feel it is appropriate at times. This was one of those times....LOL

HD, I would like to know... is the show going to be shorter this year or will it be eviction every 2 weeks? Because with the same number of HG and 2 evicted at the time, the show should be a lot less than 3 months...or is there another twist?

Yes Amanda does repeat things..(of what she overheard) To the wrong people of course. Nat has a problem with not taking her head out of her ass and see that Matty her true boy is playing with Allison as Amanda tried to warn her. Matty lied as usual to Nat and made Amanda out as a liar.
Nat and Amanda did overhear the convo about James saying that they would evict Aman/Alex and Nat/Matt . Nat chose not to ack. this but make it Amanda's fault because she wanted to plainly screw Amanda over with her little group (Allison,Sheila,Josh, Sharon,Chel,James, and her 'matty)
Amanda wasn't lieing.. she just told the wrong people what was going on. BECAUSE of MATTY lieing, she was made out to be the bad guy. Now Josh doesn't like Anyone.. he is a very crude individual with quite the Potty mouth. He is the one that mention the 'rape' word to the fore mentioned group members. Not one of them stood up to clarify this fact. Also Matty and Parker Sent Nat up to Alex's bed to divert him from seeing Parker and Amanda together. Matty and Parker were ball-less for standing there in the kitchen and letting Amanda take the blame for that one too. Parker is spineless and Matty is a BIG mouth PUNK.
Watching how this all went down with Chels and Amanda was Nat's fault. She LIED. And sat back and enjoyed it all with the other hg's.. Alex is a whinning moron. What a whimp. They let Jen and Ryan fight.. Well you can be sure that was blown out of proportion by Ali and Sheila to get Ryan to turn on Jen so Allison could make her moves on Ryan.. ( she admitted he was her type and would like to be with him ) hmmmmm Jen read between the lines.. And Yes Amanda was happy the next fight was not about her.. and Sharon was right there to take Amanda's glee to the attention Of none other then the Dustin wannabe Josh. Food for flames.. I tell you Sharon is out for blood for all.. she was friends with Amanda but sold her down the drain because she enjoyed the low road with Josh instead.. he is gonna be one to really keep close eye on because he just has an EVIL and vicious demeanor .almost scary how he snaps and thinks. She was telling Jen and Chelsia this, later, and Chelsia agreed that was a pretty rotten thing to say - - so it's surprising she made a similar pun somewhere along the way. Preface: I didn't watch any of the Youtube videos to see if the feeds caught anything else besides what I saw on After Dark.

Gosh was I lucky to fall asleep during the first hour of After Dark. I usually stay up for the first hour and tape the rest to watch in the morning but fortunately Chelsia woke me up with her confronting of Amanda.

I expected once the veto ceremony was finally done that things would pick up but I didn't expect it to pick up this much.

Previously I had made mention in the early faves/hates post how I was getting a guilty pleasure out watching Amanda set herself for a big fall but didn't expect it this big or this early. This isn't something that just out of nowhere happened and glad I was able to take it in in living color.

I haven't watched every season with as much intensity until Season 6 but I think it happened earlier then normal because with this many people there is a bit more of a buffer because people are playing for themselves. The team concept has shrunk it down where you are essentially at the nitty gritty of the competition already.

Do I think Amanda deserved it. Yes while she has been building her Rome, she is Italian, she didn't realize she had built her balcony in the pit of the coliseum and the lions finally have grabbed her.

Was it pulled off correctly. Not exactly, but it definitely seemed the only way to get her to wake up.

Chelsia vs Amanda - A big thing especially with her partner James has been to not feed Amanda with personal information because her questions have came across as an interrogation. They pretty early felt Amanda was a type that will use anything they said or even not say against them. Prime example Amanda's unnecessary explosion when she pegged James and Chelsia as being a brother and sister team. I suspect there could have been a big fight back there but with nominations not in place they played it safe and let the whole issue die quickly and probably would have stayed on the backburner but in the end we have the events from the sauna and an overheard conversation become the lighter for Rome to start to burn.

Josh vs Amanda - Josh had pegged Amanda as a problem pretty early. I point as an example Amanda seemingly pegging just about every couple in the house as the #3 in her alliance and talked trash about the other couples in kind of a vicious circle. Josh has been talking behind her back for a long time now.

I think initially his jumping in to the arguement between Amanda and Chelsia was a strategic move with him seeing a way to get the whole house riled up. Pull an Evel Dick move to cause a lot of commotion and get some to start thinking of maybe pulling him through as one to keep around because some people are going to start disliking you and look lucrative as someone to bring to the end because people are less likely to vote for you. Though After Dark wasn't a perfect shot but the way him and Allison were dancing and laughing in the house after they ran off after his initial boast. That made me feel he knew exactly what he was doing and what he was trying to get out of it. it wasn't some knee jerk reaction though based on Amanda' tirrades in the past you do need to be bigger and louder then her to get through to her and he knew this.

Unfortunately both he and Chelsia would later get to in to it. They got caught up in the moment which led to the noose thing. In the end I think he got a little bit of what he was hoping for but unfortunately has trapped himself in having to continue behaving a certain way and not backing down when it comes to Amanda.

Alex vs Amanda - Where to start with this one. You could go on and on with this one. These two haven't been seeing eye to eye since Valentine's Day. Unfortunately Alex finally had to get bigger and louder then his partner to reel her in because trying to be nice and coaching about it wasn't working. In turn forcing him to show more cards in his hand then likely he wanted to.

That is my take on it and lok forward to seeing how things continue on from here! Thanks BB9 Hamsters for finally waking up a bit to what the show is really about.

HD - Okay, found the reference on jokers. Apparently Joshuah and Chelsia were both in on the comment to Amanda. Joshuah said something about giving Amanda a halo, Chelsia said, "or a noose" (which is interesting, because I thought she asked what a noose was, earlier) and then Joshuah added, "yeah, like her dad."

The Watcher's comments are 100% coorect. Amanda said that gonorrhea thing about Josh after he blew up and made that UGLY comment of Amanda hanging herself.

When BBAD is on I also keep watching the feeds, catching all scenes as possible.

The water in bed incident was caused by Matt. He even waved he's arms and winked at the camera.

Sheila was trying to play the race card last night but in the long run it didn't work with Ryan and Parker.

And whose the slut ? Taking off all your clothes and parading around nude in and out of a hot tub, giving head to someone you barely know every night, well those two are a good start.

I could go on HD but after last night and continuing on to this early morning, I'm a little tired.

I watched this show in past seasons but not this one...and I'm quite glad of that. What I learned from that clip is that no matter what happened before or after, I think both of these people completely and utterly lack anything resembling class. Also, has this guy seen himself in the mirror laterly? I mean there are mirrors there this year, right? Because really as much as he finds her horse like, I think he very closely resembles a donkey - he's got the pudgy soft belly, the mane-like faux hawk (hiding a receding hairline no doubt), and brays like an ass. Donkey boy, meet horse girl.

I like Chelsia's cute hair also. There, I said something nice about all of those knuckle heads. :o Maybe they are putting something into the water in there? Those kids (and one old lady) are acting oxygen deprived this season.

I have been watching the feeds since day one and Ms. Amanda got what she deserved. She has been up eveyones ass and telling more lies than Will Kirby! Though I don't understand why it was Josh to give it to her, I say BRAVO!

First of all, I think it's always inappropriate to call a woman the c word. I put it in the same class as the n word. It's always the wrong word to use. Second of all, I haven't noticed Amanda being worse than any other housemate when gossiping about other houseguests. They all do it. It would be boring if they didn't. Third, I was shocked at the callousness about Amanda's dad. I mean that is too over the top. Amanda isn't the only one who didn't strip a couple nights ago. Stripping on the internet is generally considered slutty behavior. She called a spade a spade. If Natalie doesn't want to be considered a slut, she should 1) not work as a stripper, 2)not advertise that she likes giving guys head, and 3) not get naked on the internet.
As far as I'm concerned, a lot of people I was neutral about, I'm ready to see leave as soon as it can be arranged. These include Josh, Chelsea, Allison and Sheila. Josh and Chelsea for the things said yesterday, and their refusal to move on from last night earlier today, when Amanda tried to smooth things over. Allison and Sheila for their crap this afternoon about Jen. They are two faced, saying one thing to Amanda when she's there, then trashing her to Josh as soon as she leaves the room.

Boy is it me or do most the girls in the house have lower raspy voices, sheila, sharon, jen, chloe and even allison of course not Amanda, shes at the other rhelm of the category, high and annoying, lol. Well Im loving all the fights, the one last night shows how gutless any of the people claiming to be amandas friends were, even though she probablly deserved it. Looks like Sheila's now trying to manulate the house which might be fun, and claiming her and allison are lesbians, is hoot, but I think its gonna bit them in the ass down the road...JMHO Sara

I don't feel Amanda deserved the lashing she got. She hasn't done anything the rest are not doing. The problem may be she is just too open and trusting. The comment about her dad was uncalled for and I have a problem with Josh not even seeming to feel guilty about it.
She was called a slut etc. Her point was valid, she was/is not the one running around naked. I believe all this stems from jealousy. She has a nice body, not too skinny. If she feels her best asset is her behind and she likes her behind, so what. Natalie loves her fake breast, flaunts them and even got complements on them. Why the difference?
