Allison's On The Block

Well Allison's not the only one on the block of course. Her partner, Ryan, is right up there with her. Matt/Natalie were the couple chosen as pawns by Josh/Sharon. Although there really hasn't been a question as to who Josh wanted nominated since Sharon and himself won HOH. Their nomination of Matt/Natalie was an especially good choice though. I don't believe Josh has any idea that Matt's been trying really hard to work with Allison to make it to the end so putting them both up will help squash that.

Of course, we have to wait to find out who will win the Power of Veto. The plan is to ultimately boot Allison this week but if she and Ryan do win the Power of Veto, Adam/Sheila will go up on the block and they will probably be voted out. I say probably because we all know how quickly things can change in that house. For all we know, the house could turn and vote out Matt/Natalie. Either way, I'll be happy if any one of these three teams leave the house this week.

What do you think the chances are of Matt/Natalie being evicted? Or do you think Allison/Ryan will continue to be the primary target this week? And then there's this twist coming up. How might that play into all of this?

I agree that Allison can be extremely annoying and irritating, but let's face it, Joshua is on a power trip like Dustin was last year and he has done nothing but bash Allison's appearance and clothing and bash Ryan for being out of shape...I dont know if Josh has looked in the mirror lately or watched himself walk, but he shouldn't be casting stones at this point! I can't stand how Josh thinks he is running this house and doesn't understand that it is only for ONE week. He should be gunning for the powerful people like James and Chelsea, not playing personally and attacking Allison. I am praying that Allison/Ryan win the veto and flip the house upside down and knock Josh down a few pegs..okay a lot of pegs!

I really hope Matt/Natalie go. I think Ryan is being drug through the dirt 1st because of his relationship with Jen and 2nd because Allison is a NUTJOB! Matt/Natalie are very cocky and Natalie just disgusts me along with Chelsia. I feel bad for Ryan and think he still deserves to be in the house. He should get to prove that instead of being punished for Allison's behavior. I am very excited to see what the Twist will be. Big Brother always does a good job with all of their surprises so I am sure this one will not dissapoint. I hate waiting til Sunday to see the next episode though.

Now that I got my wish of getting Jen out, I don't care who goes. We stayed up to 3 AM every morning watching BB8 on After Dark and subscribed to the feeds. This season, we have no interest in getting the feeds and usually give up on After Dark after about thirty minutes. Last night, after listening to Allison and Nat talking in the sauna, I just couldn't take their drivel any longer. When Allison is talking face-to-face with somebody, she blows smoke up their ass telling them how much she loves them, and how great and wonderful they are, just to turn around later to tell somebody else how much they suck. If anybody is more two-faced than Allison, I've never seen them.

I'm also wondering about that "twist". I've learned not to get excited because they always turn out to be non events. However, it allows my imagination to run wild and I can think of at least 1 twist that would indeed change the face of the game:
The evicted couples come back. (I know, not so twisty yet but wait, there's more)
They are no longer eligible to win the game. But they can still play all competitions, can be HOH, and do vote people out.
-Who do those still eligible to win vote out first? Do they concentrate on those who can still beat them or do they try to cultivate people who they have backstabbed and lied to?

But Wait! Not twisty enough yet you say?
OK, how about this one:
- if the evicted Houseguest becomes HOH
- and during their reign a HG who is eligible to win is evicted.... The current HOH is once more eligible to play for the $$

What do they do then? Do they vote off a strong competitor knowing that the HOH will now return to the competition? Think of all the flipping and coniving and darn it all "thinking" they would have to do.

I say there's a 70% chance Ryan/Ali go (they have a 1-in-4 chance of winning the veto- plus there's still a slight chance if they do win Adam/Shelia go up and get tossed- but more likely Matt/Nat would in that case..)

I am thrilled with Josh and Sharon's plan and do hope that it all works out the way they are hoping! I think Josh is funny and right on the money with Allison, although a little mean, still funny. I hope that the twist happens after the eviction hopefully after Allison and Ryan leave :). I hope that the twist breaks up the couples and then they play on their own, perhaps bringing back a few of the previously evicted houseguests (except for Allison of course)! How funny if they did and they brought back Jen and then Ryan had just been evicted! Oh good stuff! Just a thought!

Posted by: Gwheez at February 29, 2008 07:30 AM

I think the twist is going to be that only one person from the couple goes home. They must be spliting up these couples soon or the show will be over rather quickly. And Julie said that it is going on for the usual 3 months.

It could be that the evicted couple has to chose which one of them gets to stay and which on goes home. Could you imagine the fight between Ryan and Allison, if they had to agree who stays and who goes or possible both get evicted, if they they couldn't agree. That would be an awesome twist. Would make for some get drama. Just my idea of a good twist.

I'm not a Joshuah fan at all, but last night his rant to Sharon about Allison was so hilarious that I almost wet myself laughing.

Posted by: LadyT at February 29, 2008 07:40 AM

I really hope Josh and Sharon don't fall for what crap Allison is spewing out. I hate her and would love to see her leave. As for the twist I am really hoping it is NOT just bringing back the couple who was just evicted. I am hoping for Alex and Amanda to come back into the game. Alex and Matt should be able to run to house then, not that I like Matt but if means Alex gets to stay till the end I am all for it!!

Posted by: dora at February 29, 2008 07:54 AM

I would be surprised if Ryan & Allison win POV. She claimed to be noticing every little thing about the house, she was explaining certain things to Sheila, yet she couldn't answer the questions in the last HOH competition. Allison thinks she's smarter than the rest of the HG's, I'm glad Josh has her number. For some reason I like him. Natalie on the other hand is just as two faced if not more than Allison. The difference between the two is that most know Allison is full of crap but for some reason they think Natalie is sweet and innocent.
The twist I think is like the others said some houseguests will be coming back.

Posted by: Cerenay at February 29, 2008 09:14 AM

I think the chances for Matt/Natalie being evicted are good unless they win the P.O.V.. If they are still on the block after all the business is said and done with; they should be worried.

Allison and Ryan are going to be the target for most of the week but I can see other ideas creeping into others heads if Matt and Nat do not win the P.O.V.. Allison and Ryan have shown big exploitable weaknesses that may actually make them more desireable to keep in the game.

Allison has shown she can easily be turned in to a wreck. If Josh really does something before P.O.V. that actually looks to throw Allison off it could be points in favor of actually keeping her around. If I was Allison I would almost want to take the chance and act like it throws me off but of course winning it is the best way to make sure you don't go home.

Ryan really hasn't shown one way or the other if he can be a force in the house. Just goes on with the majority and he has been led around by Jen and then Allison. He has showed he is easily controlled by his partners in life and the game.

Neither has really shown any strength in competitions but realisticly, other than the first H.O.H. comp and the first P.O.V., the comps they have participated, that really matter screw food comps, in are games of chance that really anyone has a chance to win (Dating Game, house poll, fastest on buzzer, etc).

Matt and Nat on the other hand have shown, besides squabbles between each other, nothing really seems to throw them and show they can be somewhat competitive in the all important P.O.V. contests though they have been one of the weakest, except the first one, in the H.O.H. They have also shown a bit of an independant spirit by sticking with their alliance and not hiding their feelings by voting with the mentality of the house. Importantly they were very tempting to get rid of this last week and I suspect this week will be the same if they are still on the block once the weeks events run their course.

The house suspects a twist so I guess whatever ideas they get in their head could effect things but I think any of the hamsters will do themselves a disservice to not do what they been doing. Just make what is the right move now. Get to many ideas you get clouded. Just do what you have to do and expect the worst and deal with it then.

Twist Theory...

i think what we will have at the end of the show on wednesday is an endurance competition with all the houseguests, including those that have been evicted. Since Wednesday would be the 4th guest eviction, i think the first 4 or maybe 6 (since we started out with 2 xtra guests) off the comp would be the new evicted guests and the remainder would go back into the house to finish the game.

what do y'all think?

Posted by: nutrihuney at February 29, 2008 11:11 AM

I do so feel for Ryan. Not once, but twice he has had to deal with the crap of first his girl Jen, and now the looney Allison.

The twist on the show could be that one from each team evicted gets to return to BB.

What the H*ll is up with Nat? There she is telling Ally what took place up in HOH right after Matt tells her not to say anything.

I think it would be totally off the top if all the gay people got in Allison's face after all the sh*t she was dishing out to Josh.

Josh had us laughing non stop last night on After Dark when he was explaining to Sharon about all the things wrong with Ally.

I really hope Allison is gone. She works at turning the whole house. Sorry for Ryan.

Of course, Nat is really over the top. What med's is she taking? Now for some reason, Shelia is starting to look like the person who has it all together.

Posted by: goney at February 29, 2008 11:20 AM

the twist: 1) the house will be forced to pick one from each of the two nominated couples. the two remaining will then be teamed up...

OR

2) once the eviction is complete the couples will be broken up and be playing alone and evictions will be one at a time from now till the end

Posted by: Marc DAmbrosio at February 29, 2008 11:28 AM

I can't stand Allison, hope, hope she goes, feel bad for Ryan just like I did for Alex. It seems pretty unfair that the HG didn't have a choice in being partnered up. I have a question though, Allison was so eager to quit, but didn't, and I'm wondering if in her many rants in the DR if they didn't tell her to hang in there, a twist is coming soon and you'll be glad you stayed. She just seemed empathic that a twist was coming and that it was coming soon. Manipulation again in the DR...can it be??

Posted by: Jo at February 29, 2008 11:35 AM

I would prefer to see Ryan/Allison leave. I don't really care for either one. Either that, if the POV is used, then Adam/Sheila could leave. Allison and Sheila have been driving me nuts when they talk together. It's gotten to where if that's all that's on the feeds, I turn them off.

Posted by: sandic at February 29, 2008 11:46 AM

Maybe I have missed some commentary on this, but I just discovered that James has a "gay porn past". I think his screen name is "Crazy James" and I googled him (James Zinkand) and found some links to his gay porn. Check out dirtyboyvideo.com and you will see him and all of his glory. Remember, they have been playing "dirty little secret" during the promos, but have yet to reveal any dirty secrets. I think each one of the HG has a dirty secret past and it will play into the upcoming twist.

Posted by: Ryan at February 29, 2008 12:18 PM

I can't figure out where Matt's true alliance lies - - either with Allison and Ryan as he pretends when he is alone with them, or with Adam/Sheila and James/Chelsia, as he dumps on Allison and pretends to be "going along" with the house strategy. I suppose he might not know either, and he's playing both ends hoping he doesn't get burned in the middle. Perhaps after the POV we'll know - and Matt will know - who he's chosen.

Posted by: Coleen with one "l" at February 29, 2008 12:37 PM

VERITY: LOVE IT! From your fingers to CBS' ears. Hope it happens.

Ryan - HD has reminded us again and again that yes, James has done amateur gay porn, but that doesn't necessarily make him gay. Just materialistic! ;-)

Another possibility for the twist: After this week's couple evicted, this week and all prior weeks get to compete against themselves - - with the winning two people becoming partners and HOH and the losing two or three (if Jacob competes) not re-entering the house.

Posted by: Coleen with one "l" at February 29, 2008 12:45 PM

Does anyone know who won POV? I am going nuts.

From HD - We're still waiting on them to start the POV competition. Adam/Sheila will be competing along with Matt/Natalie, Allison/Ryan, and JoshuahSharon. James is the host and Chelsia will be sitting on the sidelines.

Posted by: Ryan at February 29, 2008 01:20 PM

I have to say I really do not care who leaves anymore, as long as somebody does. I think they could not have picked worse people. They should check the water in the house, I think there is some brain shrinking drug in there.
Thank you for your great Blog HD I really enjoy it !!!

Posted by: pat at February 29, 2008 01:51 PM

You guys all have some great ideas and comments, however.....I think you all are a lot smarter and move clever than any of the HG. This group is undoubtably the dullest group they have ever had on. Thank goodness for Josh, he's the only one that makes it even remotely interesting.

Hopefully the next time, BB will work on a more diverse group as in the distant past. Last year wasn't much better.

Posted by: Debster at February 29, 2008 01:59 PM

I don't care about what anyone says, Josh is on a power trip and we need another Dick to take care of him.

Posted by: Jack at February 29, 2008 02:50 PM

I don't really care for Allison either but I feel for Ryan. I really want Allison/Ryan to win the POV today because it would really turn the house upside down...let the drama begin! Let me get this right everyone in the house can't stand Allison because she is playing both sides and a manipulator.....well if i am not mistakin the others are doin the same thing and this is the game!!!! I really can't stand Josh/Sharon they are on a power trip and they also think they have the game all figured out but what they don't know is there is a twist!!!

Posted by: alicia at February 29, 2008 03:30 PM

Hi HD -- after reading all of the comments from everyone over the past few seasons, I had an idea for a question for you to ask (maybe on a slow day when there isn't much else to write about): Would you want to be a HG? I am just curious because so much dirt seems to get dug up on people from their past, sometimes they forget cameras are on them and say some really stupid things (Amber's Jewish comments come to mind) and people are down right cruel on their opinions of certain HGs.

From HD - Great idea for a post Stephie! I'll blog about it this weekend. ;)

Posted by: Stephie at February 29, 2008 05:39 PM

Does anyone know who won the POV?

Posted by: jenny at February 29, 2008 05:51 PM

Josh is absolutely ridiculous and I really agree with Allison...I think he is unstable. He has fits of rage over silly things. For someone who has probably been a victim of hate himself, he sure harbors a lot of hate toward others. I have nothing against homosexuals, but at least Dustin didn't act like a girl and have so much attitude. Josh is such a cliche gay man, it's nauseating.

Posted by: Ryan at February 29, 2008 05:52 PM

I so agree with you alicia everyone has been playing both side's J/S have been IMO have been doing it the most and I am so sick of their power trip can't believe Josh is so mean and nasty and what is even more horrible is ppl find him funny when he rips ppl apart??I think BB put R/J with different partners for part of the twist and if R/A or P/J got evicted they would all get another chance to play but all HG's would now play as indivials. This would also tie in with what Julie said about ppl not been with their soulmates. So new romances because HG's now don't have partners and can maybe hook up with the person they really like. The season would be longer and if the person got along with their partners from before new alliances start and the games get good "Game On"I also think who ever comes back has immunity for 1 week.HD again great blog Ty:)

Posted by: donna at February 29, 2008 06:32 PM

Oops forgot to say I also think that is why they are all sequestered and Jacob can come back to.

Posted by: donna at February 29, 2008 06:37 PM

I soo agree Josh is an evil nasty little queen, after he had destroyed Ali verbally he than stuck her key up his ass rubbed it around and gave it back, wrote nasty words about her on the dinner ware in nail polish. BB made him bring the items to the storage room for disposal. He is a vindictive little queer and only picks on the girls, Josh must go with his fake ass partner Sharon.
