The Rumor Mill
Well, we all know how it goes with the rumor mill right before a new season of Big Brother starts (three weeks to go). One of the more interesting ones floating around out there is that a transexual might be involved. Considering the "dirty little secret" commercials that have been airing, it would fit.
Reality BBQ put up a link to a message board posting that reads:
"Alright, so I went to the open call in Atlanta and while I did not get a call back, I can share a tidbit that makes me think this secret thing may have some validity.
In my group of 5, there was a girl, a blonde model from Atlanta and she mentioned something like "I am dating 2 guys - one knows and the other doesn't know" after she said this one of the casting people stopped her and said "don't tell the rest of what the other guy doesn't know in front of everyone else". After we were all dismissed, she was asked too stay behind.
There was a gay guy in my group who I walked out with and I wondered aloud what was up with her and what was the big secret. The gay guy told me she was a tranny - a friend of his knew her and he told her to come to the open call.
She mentioned she had never seen the show, knew nothing about it all, and just because of her "secret" I am 99% positive she got a call back and would not be surprised to see her on the show. She was really pretty but I HATE HATE HATE that another know nothing about the game dumb bitch may be getting on because she has some sort of overexaggerated "secret". Even though I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to blow her spot up - I won't mention her name - I can PM it to Aero or SoA and when we know they are sequestered I will post it. Again, she may not be on - but they made a big deal of her not spilling her "secret" in front of the rest of us and y'all KNOW a beautiful blonde tranny from the South who grew up on a farm and knows nothing about BB is the kind of shit these dumb casting idiots drool over.
They did ask all of us if we had something interesting to tell them about ourselves "that no one knows about." So, having been through the casting and hearing other people's stories - I am inclined to believe there is something to this."
So what do you think about this rumor? How much of it do you believe? And what do you think about the "dirty little secret" theme?

Well well! A tranny huh? That could be interesting. I do like the theme of "dirty little secrets", that sounds much better than a "haves and have nots" group.
Can't wait for my early Valentine's present, Big Brother.

Great, I can just hear the .008% of transvestites in America rallying, "we aren't dirty and we shouldn't be secrets! Damnit!" (The season hasn't started yet and I'm already annoyed.) hehe! Kidding and sarcasm aside, I can't wait for BB to start! All I want is what makes it a great show: a mix of different personalities, fair, but interesting twists, and the unraveling of the best social experiment I love to dissect and bitch about.

Hi HD this is interesting news hmmmmmmmmm what do I think? I think maybe there is some truth to it but it does sound fishy about her not knowing about the show?Then again maybe not.I do know Allison G did
mention it was going to be a BB like no other and I can't wait.I also heard it was only going be on for 6 weeks does anyone know if that is true?

Hey HD!!!! This sounds like it could be cool if they do it right and I think the secrets theme is neat. I wonder if primetime is ready for a tran-sexual?

It opens up a whole lot of possibilities! What other "dirty little secrets" do you think there could be? I slept with my best friend's boyfriend? My husband thinks he's my child's father? I have webbed feet? OMG -- it's beginning to sound like Jerry Springer meets BB!

Hey HD,
Sounds interesting, just hope it doesn't get too much. There was another "reality" show about a transexual(There's Something About...)I can't remember her name..it didn't turn out so well.
The "He-men" selected to be on BB may get a little angry. CBS is walking on thin ice if the rumors are true. But we all know CBS isn't a model of network decency.
Any way I'll probally watch and then complain...

So much for a no-twist BB. But this one sounds interesting. I wonder if all the houseguests will have their own 'dirty little secret' or just her. BTW it's nice to be able to comment again. For some unknown reason I could read your other reality column but couldn't comment.

i think i have seen maybe 2 commercials for the show. had NO idea about the "dirty secrets"

From HD - I haven't heard anything about Julie not being back. So I'm assuming that our favorite robot will indeed be back for another season! Yay! :)
