Big Brother's Early Return
Well folks, it's official. Big Brother will be returning to the little screen on Tuesday, February 12th at 9:00 PM ET. Big Brother 9 will be shown on Tuesdays (9:00 PM ET), Wednesdays (8:00 PM ET), and Sundays (8:00 PM ET).
That's a kinda weird schedule. We're used to having an eviction and a new HOH comp on Thursdays. What day will that happen on now? I suppose we could assume on Wednesday -- which will leave less time for changing minds and strategy convos. What about the rest of the schedule? Food comps on Fridays, POV comps on Saturdays, etc.
Personally, I wouldn't mind them completely switching the schedule up to make it not like the summer editions. Let's move the evictions and HOH competitions to Tuesdays. How above some live food competitions? What about more live participation from the viewing audience?
What are your thoughts on Big Brother returning in February and then again in July? Will you have more time to watch the feeds or less time because of the early return? What would you like to see concerning the scheduling of events in the house and/or the show itself?

I started wondering how it will do against American Idol. Im not sure what days that show is on but if its on at the same time I would imagine AI would kill BB. And that might not be good for the summer show. Oh and Big Brother why not start all shows at 8pm lol I hate staying up late

I am excited. This is different having it in February, oh please let them NOT have any stupid twists or so-called "celebrities" on there.
I am thinking they didn't have a whole lot of time for auditions, so could be interesting to see what kind of characters they got
. I can always make time for watching the feeds if they are interesting. Live food competitions would be great.
This will be great to have something to look forward to after the Holidays. I really liked being able to watch them on tv on Showtime, when I was able to stay up that late. I hope they can do that again, but maybe not.
Are you ready for this HD? LOL

Well, I am a little skeered to be honest!
I have so much more time in the summer and I have a new baby about to be born any day now, that is going to take away time from BB watching, period.
With the holidays approaching and all that happens in the beginning of a new year, I'm not sure that BB will be as successful as it is in the summer.
Regardless, I am ready for it. But I do hope that they don't put a bunch of "F" list celebrities in there. Get some REAL people in there!!!!!!!!
I agree about it going up against AI, which is also on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, I'll be having to DVR something!!!!
I guess I have the same question as bbfanindallas, HD are YOU ready for this?!?!?!?

I have so much TV I want to watch and American Idol is definitely one of them. I guess depending on what day the live show will be on will determine what gets DVRed!
On Tuesdays, AI will be on at at 8:00 PM ET and BB doesn't come on until 9:00 PM ET. On Wednesdays, AI begins at 9:00 PM ET and BB is on at 8:00 PM ET. But those are the regularly scheduled times. Hopefully, AI will have all of those stupid two-hour shows out of the way by the time BB starts.
