Just got home from work. What a fine thing to see. The mighty mouth that roared silent. Ha Ha Ha Ha. Ok Zach, get your strength up for round 3.

I woke up just in time to watch about the last half hour of the competition. Its good to see that Dani is taking care of both of them and not just her dad. I wonder if they will show tomorrows comp on the feed?

On a side note, after watching that I wonder what the space aliens think of us as a species after watching people play these silly reality tv shows.

This is the first time I have seen Dani actually showing a little compassion. Nice.

I hope it was real and not strategy.

Round one was great for the father daughter relationship. They both gave their all without any stupid mistakes... and they both know it. But they both still got beat by Zach whom looked like he had another 7 1/2 hours in him. Maybe now that the father daughter team has been humbled they will have genuine respect for others...

All I can say is WOW! I watched about 6 hrs of it and fell asleep. Great job by both of them. Got to give Dick credit even though I still can't stand him. I gained a small amount of respect for him. Daniele is taking it a lot b etter than I expected.

Had to turn off Showtime and go to bed after 30 minutes last night. Could not bear to listen to Dick for even a minute longer, he was unmerciful in his taunts with Zach. It was really making me ill. Woke up and thought I must see who took part one, hoping aginst hope it was Zach! Thank you Lord (and I mean that sincerely). Any thoughts I had that Dick might be a decent person deep down left my mind last night. GO ZACH!!!!!!

I am so glad that I only woke up to find all this out and that I did not stay up all night like you OBSESSED people (haha kidding) and watch it. Ken, seriously, do you think if you had been in that house for 3 months that you would have any respect for Zach? All the people in the jury house are dying that they may actually be voting for him. All I can say is that I hope Dani wins the second round, because she has the greatest odds of winning the question and answer in round three. GO DANI GO!!! Now the rest of you silly beans get to bed!

i've been wondering for a while now, when dick will figure out that his trash talking and bad mouthing to zach just gives him strength to do better. the more dick attacks zach the better he does in the comps.

I am really surprised that the comp lasted as long as it did. I am glad that Zach won so that Dick and Dani will realize that they are not the best thing that ever happened to Big Brother.

The way that Dick was acting wrong. I think that BB should have told him to stop.

I was shocked to fast forward through BBAD this morning and see Dick and Zach still going at the end. But my boy Zach did it!! I'm so happy. I had the show on while I went to sleep last night, but Dick's berating was too much. I'm glad he doesn't realize it gives Zach strength. That is who Dick really is. He is that cruel person who can say all of those things right to someone's face. Zach once again shows he has class and didn't respond in any way. It was really getting to Dick that he wouldn't strike back too. I loved it, but I had to sleep.

I went to work today and came home a little bit after 11pm. I had called home to see if my wife would record bb and shotoo. Then i called her back around 10:30 i think and low and behold Dani has fallen off her carrot. I was so happy to hear that she had to swallow her own words about kicking Zacks ass in the 1st hoh comp. Then i got home turned on the puter had the feeds on and the t.v going, didn't want to miss nuthing. Boy Dick was sure having a hard time. I saw his hand slip down the key a couple times. Zack was just doing his thing, i've got to say he was pretty smart to bring his hat along. Dick started with shoes but ended with no shoes, when did he take them off? But back to the fall of the Donatos. Dick wanted to quit long before Dani oked it. He looked bad a few times. But i've got to give him a little bit of credit he actually made it 71/2 hours. But Zack won. I was and am so flipping happy. I knew he could do it, he just had to put everything right in his head. I guess spending time alone and reading helped. Yes Zack won, he's in the 3rd hoh comp. I do wonder how long its gunna take for Dick to throw the 2nd comp to Dani? They probably already talked it through. I was sad to see Jameka go. I really liked her. I hope she goes back and tells everyone else whats been happening in the house and about all the nasty talking going on about the other hg. I want Zack to win so flipping bad. All the evicted hg looked good. They looked well rested and relaxed. Jess was totally shocked to see Eric walk in. Jen even seems to be more relaxed. It was a great night on bb. Well its 4: 30 and i need to be up in about 4 hours so i'm going to crash. Good night all and sweet dreams. Oh ya i was glad to see that Dani does have a heart, she made hot tea, soup and toasted cheese sandwiches for BOTH Dick and Zack. That was really nice of her, shes right she does have a few surprises up her sleeves, who would have thought that. Well good night again and many sweet dreams.

So glad Zach won - I am so sick of hearing how great the Donato's are from their biggest fans "The Donato's". This will prove to be interesting because D & D have NO fans in the sequester house and Zach may very well win BB8.

ok. I will contain my excitement of Zach's win to, first the first time this season, give props to Daddy Donato. If it werent for his mouth, he might have some redeeming qualities. I know it will be hard for him to give Dani the 2nd HOH knowing he worked really hard to be there, but those are the sacrifices we make for our children. Even when they are treating us like tools. So, congratulations to Dick in his amicable loss.

Now that that is over, HURRAY FOR the Z-MAN! I knew he had it in him! Waking up to learn that he DID NOT fall prey to the Donatos gives his about 10 cool points in my book! Know I am praying his mental is as strong as the physical for round 3. Rest up Zach!

At the beginning of last nights comp, I thought to myself this is going to be a great comp. and then Daddy dearest had to start his bullying tact.I don't know if anyone else noticed this or not last night, but when Dani started her shivering and crying, she kept looking over at Daddy dearest with an expression of do something, and then lo and behold Dick started his ranting. I don't know about anyone esle but if that was my Dad up there saying such horrible things I would have told him to shut the F--- up, plus he would have been messing me up, but she was smiling and giggling to herself loving every minute of it. The sad part is Dick thinks this is some way of saving Dani if they don't win the HOH. Dick has said so many mean and apalling things this summer, all over being just a poor sport. The only reason Dick stayed in the game is due to Eric being America's player, other wise he and his spoiled offspring would have been sent packing. It is amazing how he has attacked Zack about going against them when they did the same thing to Jessica and Eric, oh wait I forgot that was just game and strategy. Zach made the biggest mistake by not using the POV and taking Dani out last week. Now that would have been the best upset in the game by making daddy dearest put his own daughter up. Oh and touching on another subject, I have never heard the comment "mighty white of you" to be a racist comment, I have used the term before and I assure you I am far from being a racist, that comment is no more racist then Yvette saying she was going to latina on everyone. I am sick of the race card being played. Dick can walk around insulting peoples sexuality, call women sluts and the C word, spit all over the place, but yet that's OK. I hope Jameka goes to the jury house planting the seed how the Donato's are already saying they won the game, I hope they go down in flames next Tuesday!
One more thing, after reading your post, it saying how Zach went over to see if Dick was OK, well that just shows you who the better person is, because if he had said those things to me and dropped out before me, I think I would have rubbed his nose in it. Good going Zach, I hope you win this whole thing.

First off I have to give credit to both Dick and Zach. I'm not rooting for Zach, but he is a decent human being and it was very touching how he came to check on Dick after the comp was over. I know that the majority of posters here don't like either Dick or Daniele. All three of them gave a valiant effort. Zach rules for the moment. Dick is broken for the moment. Dick was cruel, and yet moved me to tears at the end. And Daniele has shown that she does have a heart. She showed great kindness to her father for the first time and also to Zach, fixing food and tea for both of them and making sure they both were OK.

Can we all give credit where it's due and just wish them all good luck in the next few days? And can we agree that this challenge was brutal, brutal, brutal? Seven and a half hours, I could not have done it, could you?

When did someone like Dick decide he was a barometer for the good and decent man? His taunting was obnoxious and I found myself fast forwarding two minutes into it. Get over yourself.

My hat's off to both Dick and Zach, they really lasted for a long time in a tough one. And Zach's actions at the end confirmed that he does have class. And who'd have thought Dani was able to be kind to all!

All I can say is wow.
I could not have stood on that carrot and held onto the key for 7+ hours. Not including the rain, fog, rabbit jumping.... My arm would have been screaming by hour 1. And the keys do not look comfortable to hold. That was a great display of endurence and determination.

Can't believe I am still up. Caught the entire comp., fell asleep for an hour, got my kids to school and now find I had to see what people are saying about last pm/ this am.
Happy for Zach and don't like D & D, but as I said, I have to give credit where credit is due, ED did a hell of a job keeping up with someone half his age, in the lousy shape ED is in.
However I won't be fooled by Dani's sudden kindness to Zach. More strategy I think. Just in the off chance Z takes it all, she wants to be remembered for her kindness and taken to the F2. Too little, too late. I think if it happens, Z would take ED. Just my opinion. Like butteholes, we all have one, so don't bash me for mine!

We all have faves, and somebody's gotta lose. Therefore not everyone can be happy UNLESS you remember it is just a game and its entertainment
for our enjoyment. No matter how it happened D&D &Z are the final 3. So good for all of them. Round 1 to Z does seem to make it abit more fair and interesting. This is my first season on a site like this and HD I am thankful for your hard work and accuracy. But I am just as disappointed in the flip flopping and negativity that has been spewed and instigated here in the last few weeks. It must be nice to live in a glass house with such clean windows.

I made it til just past 2am (central time) and I woke up before my alarm today (a miracle!) and ran to refresh the page and when I saw Z won, I did a happy dance! :) Thanks for all the updates HD!

As much as I love the game, I will be happy when it is over so I can get a good night's sleep!

All the D/D haters are an interesting bunch. "Score one for the good guys" is the mentality? C'mon...IT'S A GAME! Whether you like it or not, the two of them have played the best game of the whole bunch. Zach's over-inflated ego and self-professing love is more appealing than Daniele's whining? (I'm surprised no one has come up with a new name for her like "Whinele", see - I'm helping out the good guys). Whooptidoo, she whines. She still kicks a$$ in comps! Zach is like the barnacle on the belly of the Big Brother ship - just bobbing around aimlessly waiting to suck on to yet another HOH.

Dick was a dick and crossed more lines than notebook paper, no excuses for a lot of what he said. However, I'll put up with his crap anyday over the weasely behavior of the "good guys" many of you fall all over. BTW, for those of you kvetching over Dick's rants to Zach last night...you can thank Daniele for that. People, people, people - you're forgetting one thing - it's NOT all about personal when the jury votes, it IS about who played the game better - at least it's supposed to be. But, this group of jurists is probably the most petty group in the history of BB. Zach played NO GAME - D&D had to fight to get this far - one of them deserves to win...THEY EARNED IT! Zach did nothing!

Whoever said that Showtime had TOO much storage room last night (about 1:30am Eastern) was dead-on. I put Cinemax soft-core porn on and kept the BB8 storage room on picture-in-picture until they went back to the competition.

At this point Zach needs to concentrate on round 3. If I were him, I'd grab a bunch of food, take it to the HoH room, break the doorbell, then lock myself inside.

Part 2 will be boring since Dick will probably throw it to Daniele. At least part 3 will be interesting. I think Zach has done well on the question comps when he's tried, so it will be about even if he's up against Dani.

Wow, I can't believe that went 7 1/2 hours. Both Dick and Zach deserve a pat on the back. Dick may be an ass but he held on even though he has 14 years on Zach and definitley not in good shape. I also give Daniele credit for hanging in as long as she did. I could sympathize with her because I can't handle the cold either at all(which makes me wonder why the heck I never left Chicago).

And nice to see Daniele take care of both of them. Also nice to see her show geniune feelings toward her father even though it's in the context of this game. I have said over and over again, Dick is an ass (even though I am rooting for him or Daniele) but what always struck me as genuine is his attempt to try to mend fences with his daughter.

I have a feeling Dick is going to hand the next one to Daniele for the final question round with Zach. If the final question round is how well they know their house mates, I give the edge to Daniele because I think she has taken more time with most everyone in the house and as Zach admitted (in his goodbye message to Jameka) that he just got to know her after 74 days.

Should be interesting.

I must confess, I am deeply, deeply saddened by this turn of events....I cannot stand to see Zach, a mere floater until the last 2 weeks, making it to the final 2. It's horrendous, absolutely horrendous to me. Both D & D have played this game, hard, from day 1 and should be rewarded by making it to the final 2.

I want the jury house to have to choose between the 2 of them, at the end, realizing that the 2 best competitors in the game are sitting in those chairs. Personally responsible for all the evictees in the jury house, by their game play and NOT because they rode on someone's coat tails!

I was so proud of them both last night. I loved the look of sincerity on Dani's face when she was cheering on her dad. It was wonderful to see "warmth" from her going out to him!!!!

I was hoping BB and CBS would find that Dick and his son violated the rules with the letter, and trace the airplane back to them too. Then tell Dick he broke the rules and had to leave with nothing. Daniele would freak as Jameka was allowed to return as last person evicted. And Jameka and Zach would take it to the final 2. Jameka winning over Zach.
But unfortunately BB didn't.

I would love to think Daniele has a heart and some compassion for others, but I just haven't seen it.

I think her making Zack a sandwich was total strategy. If he wins HOH, he has to take someone with him. Don't think for one minute that that is lost on her.

My guess is round 2 will be very quick with Dick (purposly) losing to Dani so she can hopefully take down Zack in the 3rd HOH. Dick knows he is not up to it.

Let's see! A daughter who is as skinny as a rail and has an eating disorder, self centered, self absorbed, and the very definition of man-nipulator. What motivated her to adopt these actions to survive in her world?

Then we have ED! Father of the year! (Make that the last twenty one years)

Props to Zach for winning-and some to Dick for lasting so long-I think this was just a little longer than the Diane/Jase HOH endurance in season 5, so this comp is now 2nd all-time to the 14 hour marathon in Season 6....

I think Dick has a "Plan B" now that he knows that Zach is in the final round-He'll threaten Zach with holy hell for the last four days in the house if he wins HOH and evicts Dani-Dick will have nothing to lose by it, Zach has everything to lose-can he resist doing the easy thing and evicting Dick (and possibly losing against Dani, but we know he may still win, in fact has a very good chance thru the jury house comments), or to the hard thing and evict Dani (and hope that dealing with Dick for 4 days at full throttle with no holds barred is worh the $500K)

If Zach does win and evict Dani, the producers might just say "Screw the jury vote, Dick/Zach can play under Thunderdome rules in the house! (2 men enter, 1 man leaves)"

I woke up during the night and watch a bit of the recorded AD, sad that ED has to go thru life trash talking, urinating on camera- how yucky for Showtime to show the flow- grrrr, digusting even though they rained on him.... Zach was the best of the best during this, Whiney Danielle of course couldn't handle it, amazing that she showed any thought of Zach afterwards. Oh CBS you could do better than these losers, what about just actual competition without trash talk,
just sickening to the limit, anyone have an idea of AD's ratings for this mess. Go Zach- also sad to know that one of these two nothings will win at least 50,000- let's hope Zach can pull off the 3rd contest and one of these D/s will go home and that nice Zach will win it all. Can't think the two nasty D/s will change from nasty, guess ED was the playground bully- Enough.

Well, kudos to both Dick and Zach for lasting 7 1/2 hours and suffering through hypothermia. With the bunny broken, I was sure Zach would last as he is a 30 year old in fair shape going against a 44 out of shape smoking man. However, Dick's will to compete cannot be discounted lightly. Yes the ugly rants at the beginning were not fun for some/most of you watching out there, but like everything else, it was his MO of playing the game and trying to get into Zach's head. Good for Zach for not letting it throw him and outlasting Dick. In the end though, we got to see the real Dick and even Dani - for everyone who likes to tear them apart, you can see what the human spirit shows when pushed to extremes - Dani caring for both Z&D and Dick not wanting to let his daughter down, only wanting her approval and love which he truly has for her. These comps can seem cruel (which this was if you have ever suffered from hypothermia, you will understand), but they can be illuminating.

I would like to also point out that the majority of viewers understand that Dick is using tactics to win the game and can separate the tactics from the person - just look at the poll numbers as D&D having been polling high numbers with Dick getting the most as the favorite hamster. Too bad a lot of the posters here don't get it no matter how many times it is said - It's A Game!

Well hal-le-freakin'-LUJA!!! (rhymes with BOOYAH!) I now have a framed photo of my dearest Zackmaster by my comp...the one where he's wearing the crown. He's the KING!! :-D

I wish I'd stayed to see the ending. I would say that Dani was actually genuine in her random acts of kindness toward Zack because she realized what both he and her father were doing that she never would have been able to pull off. It really was brutal for both of them and very hard to watch. Toward that very end I saw her worried look go to her father and it didn't change when she looked over at Zack, so I think she was worried about him as well. When Zack won and immediately came to help Dick I think Dani saw him in a very different light. I think there was probably some real human compassion shared amongst the three of them at the end there and I will be *very interested to see how they interact upon waking today. I wonder what shifts in game style might occur? Anyone want to venture a guess?

My WAG is that we no longer hear smack coming out of Dick's mouth toward Zack, or at least not the variety we saw last night. He'll probably try to maintain his game face, but I don't think it's going to be so vile. He has a much better target for his rage: BB. And I'm pretty sure he'll let 'em know about it.

I hope BB is listening in real close to Dick's mike while he's sleeping to make sure he keeps breathing... :-/

I'm sure the Donato's have it all planed out. Dani was out first so she can gain her strenth while her dad wears out Zack. On the next comp. Dick will get out right away so Dani can rest even more, and Zack will have even less rest then Dani. So who do you think will win the last comp? I sure hope Zack can keep up the good work.

I was disappointed in Daniele's role in Dick's taunting Zach (encouraging it) and her selfishness of not staying and cheering for Dick after she fell off her carrot. Then, when I heard she later did root for her dad and fixed him and Zach tea, etc, I realized I may have been wrong.

The more I think about it though, I can't help but think that Daniele is trying to get on Zach's good side in case he does win HOH. At least that would be more consistant with the character she've shown.

I stayed up and watched the whole thing. Dani was her normal selfish self, standing INSIDE the house during the last part of the comp - she must have been too cold in her parka to sit outside. I give Dick some props for lasting so long. His tirade toward Zach was disgusting - but what else is new. Hope he gets a good nights sleep so he has the strength to throw round two to Dani.

The people against the Donato's, do y'all actually like Zach, or is it that y'all hate d/d more? I can't figure out who I would like to win. The semi rich preppy boy (who probably didnt fit in with his frat because he was just a bit too geeky) who looks like a weird morph of matt damon and arnold swarztenegger(sp?). Or Ed who takes his own version of honesty to new depths of lewdness. Then there is Dani-- just forgetting that annoying whine--she needs to put in the cotton fields or since she's from cali- then the strawberry fields or some kind of hard labor so she can get over herself and have some real compassion for people-- but then maybe I just dont understaaaaaaaaannnnnnnndddd. It's all good though I really couldnt stand anyone this year- and last year i thought mike boogie was bad--compared to all this year he seems as much a humanatarian as brangalina.

Peg, I think Dani was told by BB not to go outside for a while (they probably were trying to fix the bunny hop thing she broke when she fell on it), but gave up on fixing it and told her later on she could go back outside.....it was about then when they were told they couldn't switch hands...

Thank you HD for keeping us updated. I watched about 30 min of the showtime feeds and turned it off I just couldn't listen to it anymore. Im glad that Zach won though I have to admite that I dont really like him, I just dont want both the donatos in the final Dani wasnt 21 and Dick just plays for her. Though I do think its wonderful that they have worked things out I just dont know if it will be the same once there in the real world not working together for money.

Ya know, I watched the feed when Daniele fell. Everyone said the Bunny stopped. But it sure didn't look that way to me. Dani stepped way far back and her foot slipped off the back as she was about to jump. I think the bunny stopped AFTER she fell on it. However, in all honesty (omg I sound like Dick...lmfao...and he lied as much as anyone else!) I only saw the tape til the fall. I am rooting for Zach. I never thought he played much of a game, but the last few weeks he has stepped it up, and I totally believe he is the only one in the house that wasn't afraid of the D's. Dani played the best game I think, but if I was in that jury house, I'd vote for Zach if it came down to the two, one because of her father's dispicable behavior (I know its him not her, but thats the way I feel) and her constant whinning, complaining, crying, spoiled brat ways. Her back was ALWAYS covered. I think Dick will throw the comp to his daughter tomorrow and then, hopefully, Zach will win that playoff. BB has definitely disappointed me in the way they let Dick behave. I hope that Jen (ick I can't believe I am sidding with her) files a lawsuit against Dick, I think she has grounds and I think he deserves it. He's already got a record for domestic assault, let's just add one more nail in the coffin of that washed up, Tommy Lee wannabe, prison waiting to happen, poor excuse for a human being let alone a father sick Dick.

I can not understand how anyone can be happy for a person who did not play the game at all. Zach did nothing but kiss butt the whole game. He would alaign himself with one person and than another and than another and rode the coat tails of everyone. He did not try in any comp. this year at all until the end. Saddest thing I have seen on any 'reality' TV show was this morning. Dick ask Danielle to say that she loved him and she said no. He asked again and she walked out of the room. How sad for both of them.

I used to feel some sympathy for Dick. However, he way overstepped the boundries with the names he called other house guests and the verbal attack on Zach last night.

I really do not want any of them to win.

At 1am I had to give up and go to bed, wow, I'm shocked it lasted as long as it did. I can't stand Dick but he truly does seem to love his daughter. CBS putting a father/daughter together really stacked the deck against the other players. This bond, although estranged, just can't be broken up like other alliances can. Dick will fold in the second comp so that Dani can take on Zach in the last one. Please oh please let Zach win and boot out Danielle. Her taped goodbyes are all the same - like writing in a year book, so happy I got to know you this summer, good luck in the future. Thats all she can say because she made no friends with anyone, just Nick. If ED hadn't been on the show taking the heat and attention for the tirades, she would have been gone long ago.
CBS may have gotten the ratings they wanted with this pair, but after watching how vile ED was last night, and Dani laughing and egging him on, just really turned me off. If Zach goes I will only watch the finale long enough to see Eric explain AP, and thats it. Oh and by the way, AP, a

Congrats to both Zach & Dick. No way could I have lasted more than an hour with that comp. My two favorites this season have been Jen & Zach. I think they both held up well under Dick's pressure. As far as Zach's gameplay - after the MRA fell apart (thanks Kail), he had to play the beginning by himself. He laid back and watched what was going on and stayed out of the way of the Donatos. Then at then end, when it mattered, he made deals and played hard. I am rooting for him 100%. GO ZACH!!!!

I'M SO HAPPY FOR ZACH! Really, I can't believe that the competition lasted that long. I watched all of the BB after dark, but had to wait till just now to find out who won. Sweet news, yes, I am so happy now.

I think Dani made Zach a grilled cheese sandwich just because she has some human qualities. Zach just went toe to toe with Dick through 7 1/2 hours of torture, how could you do anything but feel compasion for someone in that state. That is the least she could have done.

In my opinion it could not have gone better. Dani tripped and fell off and broke the bunny doing it. How funny. Too bad she didn't end up in a big mud hole!

With a little luck Dick will get laryngitis from the cold and wet and lose his voice so we won't have to listen to him anymore.

Of course, it won't take Dick more than 5 seconds to throw the second part to Dani so she can face Zach in the third part. Stupid move on his part since she actually might not pick him to take to the final 2 since she thinks she absolutely can win against Zach but maybe not against Dick since she knows a lot of the voters think he carried her. And even is she does win it she won't give Daddy Dearest one red cent of her winnings I bet.

Why is everyone so 'jealous' of Dick and Danielle? I can understand for these kinds of responses from those that have been evicted, but not viewers!!!! NOBODY has played a more strategic and performance backed game than Danielle and Dick. So he's annoying, they played the game well.

To the person whining about Zach's game....was his game any better or less than Dick's or Daniele's? Because he played for himself he's a floater? Daniele hid out with Nick for the most part of the game and Dick was ugly to people. I guess they deserve to win over someone that played the game for himself. I keep seeing all these posts about the Donatos playing the game the way it's "supposed to be played."

Who decides that? If a so called "floater" has a strategy coming in of staying under the radar until absolutely necessary, how is that playing the game any worse than the Donatos? Everyone has their own way of playing. Since Zach's game play has gotten him to the final 3, I would say he's been playing the game pretty well, IMO.

So I had to only last an hour and half more. That doesn't sound bad but I just couldn't watch one feed and couldn't watch Dick fight through the pain anymore.

Hard to say who would have won if Daniele hadn't broke the bunny but Zach was in a long distant runner zone pretty much from then on out.

Hopefully future wannabe hamsters take note of this performance and take advantage of the gym during their stay. Could be a key in winning them 500K.

Dick definitely secured my vote if it is a Donato final 2. I was on the fence because Daniele has won so many comps while Dick has been pushed to the front to do the dirty work.

I, in my coming up for a reason to vote for someone, have been giving more cudos to the dirty work especially after the various times when Daniele would get called out on being part of it and playing it all off on her dad.

Would have given her the vote if she blew away everyone in the final H.O.H. comps but her dad has been the big surprise of it all thus far and has secured my vote.

Unlike most of you hamsters, I was very upset to wake up this morning to see Zach had won. I was so proud of Dick was hanging in there for 7-1/2 hours. Zach is a strapping young man, Dick is 44????? Who would have thought Dick could keep up with him? So, my kudos go to Dick, not Zach.

Dick looked whipped. He is in no shape to do Part #2; he hurt his shoulder; so I don't think he will be purposely handing the comp over to Dani; she will win it easily. Dani will then have to beat Zach in the question/answer portion; she does really well with those.

I was touched by Dani's mothering of the two of them. She seems to be a nurturing person; haven't seen that this season. She actually did give her father a hug.

I am still routing for D&D at the end because I don't think they have a chance against Zach! I want to see the jury squirm because they have to give the money to one of them! That would be pure excitement.

Yes, America did vote for whom Eric should keep in the game; I am sure none of you voted, right? Everyone wants the underdog to win every season. The game is about strategy, wits, outplaying, just like Survivor. Dick & Dani played their very best every week, Zach played for what, 3 weeks? Come on, give me a break! Our cable went out last night so we depended on people here who had live feeds to describe what was going on. If any of you from chat are out there reading this, thanks for everything last night.

It was an amazing comp. Kudos to Zach, you really showed what you were made of last night. You were prepared, wore the right clothes, smart move with the hat. Having been a skier, it is amazing how much a brimmed hat keeps rain and snow off your face, a definite advantage, again, good move. Dick wasted so much energy with his verbal assault on Zack, that I am sure he could have lasted longer later on in the game. He knew he was getting no reaction out of Zach so he should have been smart enough to stop. Foolish move on his part. Daniele was just her usual self centered person.

I'm so happy that Zach won last night! I've been rooting for Zach for a long time, not just the last week or two. I think all three people in the game played it well, both strategically and in the challenges. Zach wasn't at all in the game. He was aligned with Nick, who Dani and Dick betrayed. As soon as Nick left, Dani made an alliance with Zach. At that time, Dani and her dad needed Zach, because their former alliance turned on them. I don't think that the Donatos would have made it this far without Zach, or vice versa. Zach needed someone to treat him like he was in the game. The others just shunned them, and that's one of the reasons they're in the jury house. I was disgusted the way Dustin and in friends treated Zach. Dick and Dani had the sense to develop a relationship with everybody in the house, including Zach. Zach was a gentleman to everybody in the game, made every effort to socialize with everybody in the house. It's not that his strategy sucked, it's that the casting director sucks. Dick's verbal abuse was out of hand, though. Dick is the type to push the limits, until he's forced to stop. CBS had a responsibility to the other houseguests to tell Dick when he crossed the line.

Maybe next year, BB should start out with 20 houseguests. CBS should tell every houseguest entering that no racist or homophobic comments will be tolerated. CBS should simply kick out anybody who violates those rules. With 20 houseguests, they could afford to kick out a few of them, if necessary. If they didn't need to, they could simply have more double evictions at the end.

Did anyone hear the comment by Dani this morning talking about the guys who were shooting them with water? She told her Dad that compared to Zach's water, a young guy came up to the post shooting water on Dick and she said in comparison, the amount of water Zach was having shot on him was about 8 times more than her Dad's and that the young guy looked at her and smiled. CBS has a big hand in how these comps run and that's too bad. I read some hint as to Janelle's handling of a comp earlier where D & D won as well. I personally think Danielle has played a superior game but personality-wise, there is no winner in the house right now. I'm with Mrs. Helmsley, give the money to the hamster here who everyone appreciates!!!!

Whoever stated, "He wouldn't still be in the game if it weren't for D&D." Well, they wouldn't still be in the game if it weren't for Zach and Eric.

I don't like when people make comments about "floaters" either. To me, if you were able to stay under the radar that long - and no one noticed or no one bothered to do anything about it - that was strategy. To tell everyone you're on their side and will cover them, or to suck up to HOH each week - that is strategy. Maybe it's not the same way any of us would play, or would want to be seen as a player, but it works - like it or not.

As for Daniele and her "sympathy" - that girl has thought of nothing but herself from day one. That sandwich and cup of tea was made for Zach with the thought in her mind that he just might become HOH and maybe, just maybe, he'll keep her instead of her dad if she's nice to him. She knows full well that the smarter decision would be to keep her dad, so she's doing whatever it takes.

And there's no way either Dick or Daniele will boot the other one out. If one of them gets HOH, Zach's gone and they won't care who wins (though, I do believe that Daniele's ego will want her to do whatever it takes to convince the jury she was the better player and deserves the larger prize). If you think they haven't already discussed that if they get one and two, they'll just combine the money and split it, you don't understand this pair...and Daniele's control over her father. I think if Daniele were to get first, she'd keep the money for herself, but she's probably had this discussion with her father just in case.

It's a shame a loser like Zach is going to win it all when D & D have played a much superior game. Looks like there's no justice in the world.

One thing I would like to bring up. I have read so many comments on different BB Blogs about Disck's age, being a geezer etc. The man is 44 he's not that old. Besides Age should have nothing to do with it. I wish they would pick people that are more of a mix in age instead of all in their 20's.

Dick may have the worst "potty mouth" I've ever heard, but I think he has been the most honest in the house. He has gone "over and above" for his daughter (the spoiled brat), she whines way too much for me, but she is one of the smartest in the house, one of the "D's" should win, Zach din't play the game, he just floated on the backs of others. (And yes, he is weird!)

It was awesome what those three withstood during the HOH competition, yep, even Dani for as long as she lasted. Dick will be remembered for this night and not so much for his lousy mouth as for the end result, that he perservered for love of his daughter. He never quit until she finally told him that he could, and even then, he tried to go on but simply couldn't.

As of now, I would still like Zach to win but I wouldn't be sad to see him compete with Dick, and if Zach didn't win, I'd like Dick to, but Dick will give it over to his daughter. He thinks that she will split the winnings with him as he will with her. Maybe, after this awesome HOH competition, she WILL share and even keep in touch with her dad, miracles happen and anything's possible.

Bloggers keeps saying Dick's behavior was part of the game. Most players that come out of reality TV say what you see is how people really are. They can't hide their true personalities. I have no doubt this is how D & d are in real life. I'm glad Zach won and will abide by who is awarded the money even if it is D or d.

I have been a Zach fan for quite some time. He slowly won me over with his quiet and calculating manuevers. This guy is not stupid. He threw competitions to keep the target off his back but knew when it was time to step up his game. My only complaint is that he aligned with D&D. But I'm sure he figured it was the smartest way to advance. This guy is a strategist. He is playing a numbers game. I really hope he has the wit to beat Dani in the final comp. And I hope the jury has the wit to realize that his game has been just as good, if not better than hers because he has never had to resort to backstabbing, whining, namecalling and pure hatred of his fellow HG's to get where he is.

I think BB should let all houseguests compete in all three rounds of the final HOH comp. Sort of a "best of 3" scenario. Because, think about it, what if Zach could completely dominate the second game, which he does not play, but sucks at the last game? Just a thought. :)

Zach is no floater. He played an individual game which is what BB should be, and is. Zach played for himself, and played well. He played a rather amrvelous game. I also think that so called 'floaters' get a bad rep. I don't think being a super schemer, being a dick, or being loud and obnoxious are the only worthwhile strategies in the game espicially since 'floating' is a strategy that has proven to work.

Dick is not honest. He is nowhere near the most honest HG in the house. He's a two faced hypocritical liar. Mike, Zach, Jen, and Jameka are likely the most honest people this year (not coutning Carol as she lasted 1 week). That doesn't mena they *never* lied, though. Lying is not Dick's worst trait though. Lying in BB is aprt of the game. I agree with Dick that they cheated Dani in this competition. There was no way they should have stopped the bunny where they did. It stopped just as she was going to jump over it. That was obvious when you saw the arm and where it stopped. He had a legitimate complaint.

Floating is a strategy, one that is much to easy and depends on others and their charity, something some people seem to enjoy in life. I much rather be an active participant in the game so that if I fail, I can at least know that I gave it my all.

Finally, I'm glad that some of the viewers believe they know who each of these hamsters are by just observing them in an artificial environment where they are dictated to win however they can. To think that you may know who Dick is truly astonishing much less whether he has the capacity to love or not must make you feel like god or some super intelligent being above all those in the house.

Personally, I just enjoy that entertainment this game has brought cheering for whom I will. I try not to allow it to define me by wishing certain hamsters would die or pretending to know who they really are. After all, it is only a game!

I wanted Jameka or Eric to go further, but after seeing the endurance competition in the final HOH its pretty obvious that neither one of them would have won. I wonder if D&D are thinking about that right now.

It appeared pretty obvious in the sequester clip that none of the jury members are going to vote for either Donato no matter who they're up against.

Oops, that's Survivor but is it really? These are the three fundamental principles and it matter not if the final 3 got there by high wire or under the radar - THEY ARE THERE and that was the goal. cloe, I have no problem with Dick not playing nice...unfortunately he went well beyond not nice...he got downright nasty, appalling, and abusive...he just went too far!!!!! Plus, Dick would have been gone long ago if it were not for the AP vote. At this point, I don't think Dick would get the AP vote if the final 2 are Dick and Zach.

I would really be interested in what became of Danielle's mother or Dick's ex-wives.

I tuned in around 7am or so to find Dani and Dick in the kitchen. Dick asked her to tell him she loved him just once. She said no. :( (but she did give him a peck on the cheek as a consolation prize)

They didn't cheat Dani by stopping the rabbit. The rabbit stopped because she stepped too far back preparing to jump and slipped off the carrot and landed on it (the rabbit) and broke it. If you don't believe me just check the video.

Daniele messed up last night, it happens. Now all are whining because poor Daniele had a problem with the rabbit. Daniele just can't cope with losing, just as simple as that. If she wins, she is thrilled. If not, she pouts, whines, and cries. She may be 21 but she acts like she is 5. Nothing but a petulant, spoiled child who wants things her own way. Well, she better get used to life because things don't always go the way we want them too.

I would like to remind everyone about Boogies winning the last few comps when it really was important, like I think Zack is doing. I think he studied the chill town play book. We know Will and Boogie threw lots of pov and hoh comps because they knew they were safe that week. Boogie evicted Janelle and Zack will do the same to Dani and deserves the half a million just as much as anyone. And he did it on his own with no friends, even playing chess by himself, how sad.

I really hope its dani and zach for the final round...so dani can beat zach...it seems like the last few years (except all stars) someone who didn't play the game the best won..and its looking like that might happen again.

On an off note. Came home to the feeds and D&D talking about amusement parks.

I wonder what Dick will think about Disney's new policy for venues, like House of Blues, on their property not being allowed to showcase metal and hardcore acts.

Guess they don't like certain elements in their Downtown Disney areas. Wonder if something happened at this years Bats Day.

Bats Day, if you don't know, is an organized day/convention that brings lots of goth and alternative folks together with one of the big events being a day at Disneyland. I believe this years was last month.

Ok- I absolutely hate Dicks antics. He should have been kicked off BB for the tea, among other things, with Jen. The verbal abuse alone that he has slung at everyone should have been enough for CBS to pull his plug. Then admitting-out loud- that he and his son planned a code to cheat.... wow. But..... Myself, as a single mother who's ex is a true piece of shit and has nothing to do with his amazing kids.... I gotta say, the love that Dick shows for Dani is pretty awesome. Granted it is also twisted, mean and is probably why she is the whiny, spoiled, manipulative bitch that she seems to be so very proud to be. But when you look at what he has done for her in this game....Her token use of her Veto yesterday was sad and lame. I'm no Dick fan but sometimes my heart breaks when I see the look of heartbreak on his face.

I keep reading all the arguments that Zach doesn't deserve to win because he hung back 'til the end while D&D played to win...I've only been a casual watcher but I haven't seen Dick win a whole lot.

Does anybody have the stats of just how many comps each of the has actually won? Just curious...

On the feeds... they briefly showed Dick storming through the house kicking stuff. He's pissed that BigBrother did not catch that Jameka won the POV (not Zach) until five days too late to do anything about it. He's looking directly at cameras and cussing them out about it.

Now there's a petition we can get going. Put HD in the BB house. We would have a blast pulling for you and there are plenty of folks who would volunteer to keep your board going while you were there. Then we could have our own little "wrap" party after you win!!!

Granted that Dick will throw comp to Danielle but question is "will CBS tailor the final comp to be in Danielle's favor"?..

Anyone else get the idea that BB has reviewed the tapes of the Veto and found that Dick put the Blue Ball in Jam's tube. Dick is really ticked off about something. I think that he may have been caught putting the ball in and is on his way out the door. I am only speculating; but, he sure what mad when he came out of the DR.

So happy I found your site to find out that Zach won. I think he has played the game very well and would love to see him win. I am ashamed of CBS for allowing Dick to say the things he has said without any reprimand.

I just finished watching the DVR of last night's Showtime Too. Did anyone else notice that Dick had dirt on his feet about halfway through the show?

I could have sworn he had shoes on when the competition started. Someone watching live feeds earlier in the evening said he took them off after the competition started, which means his shoes would have picked up dirt from walking to the carrot perch, but not his bare feet. Any dirt picked up from then would have washed off a long time before Dani tripped.

Right after Dani fell, the rabbit stopped and Zach and Dick were left standing there. Dick complained that he had to pee and they turned the water on so he wouldn't look sillier peeing in his pants on national TV. During that water bath, they show his feet and they have dirt all over them. By the time the water shuts off, his feet are clean. I didn't save the DVR, but if you look at around the 1:50 mark, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I'd be willing to bet they had a break when the feeds were off and Showtime was showing the storage room.

From HD - They had mud shot at them at some times during the competition.

Dick and his daughter should be used to the mud. They have been slinging enough of it themselves this season.

I can't help but say how much I respect Dick for enduring so many hours on that competition. You figure in his age, the fact that he smokes, and that he doesn't exercise and it is truly amazing how many hours that he lasted in that competition. I don't like his talk (but I think that last night was to try to distract Zack) but he has won my first place vote alone for his endurance last night. Amazing. Put yourself at age 44, in his condition and I bet none of you could have lasted half that long. I couldn't. Congratulations Dick. I admire you.

jjj above asked about stats for the competitions. I'm probably opening myself up to ridicule by even having this information, but I'm a statistician by trade, so I kinda just accumulate the information as I go along, feeding my BB addiction. I don't stake my life on these stats, but I'm fairly certain they're accurate, though anyone out there feel free to double check me...all the recaps and full episodes are available on CBS.com to inspect. What I've got are percentages, based on wins in the number of competitions each specific houseguest was eligible to compete in, since it differs (i.e. Jameka giving up 5 HoHs or Dick, Jessica, Dustin, and Nick failing to compete in the initial HoH comp) and a number in parentheses following it, representing the number of housemates that houseguest defeated in winning their competitions. That number's really just for fun, since it obviously gives weight to winning comps earlier in the game when there are more people around. Anyway, here's what I got:

Joe- 0 for 3, 0% (0)
Mike- 0 for 4, 0% (0)
Nick- 0 for 5, 0% (0)

I was thrilled to see Zach not only won the first round of the final HOH, but won exactly as I wanted him to, by demoralizing Danielle and Dick.

The images of the smirking dismissive Donatos and Dick's vile rants against Zach juxtaposed against the images of the cold shivering and whining Danielle and the thoroughly soaked, spent and beaten Dick were precisely what I wanted to see.

If it was anyone other than Dick, I would call it a heroic effort, but in Dick's case it was stupidity to continue against Zach for 7 plus hours as he had no chance of beating Zach in this endurance contest.

I'm sure that Dick and Danielle have agreed that she is the best choice for Round 3 and I would think Dick would either forfeit Round 2 or not even make a token effort against Danielle. This is another area with Dick and Danielle have a built in father/daughter advantage as the Round 2 winner will not have to expend any energy and should be fresh for Round 3.

As much as I despise Danielle, she has been virtually unbeatable in any competitions involving memory or knowlege of the Big Brother house and she would be the prohibitive favorite in this type of Round 3 competition against anyone.

If Danielle prevails (as expected) Zach's Round 1 win will mean nothing and we'll have an All Donato Final Two (which I'm not going to watch).

My small glimmer of hope is that Danielle will choke. She's going in as the prohibitive favorite with everything to lose. Zach is going in as an underdog where nobody expects him to win. Danielle is a worry wart and with the added pressure of this being a "do or die" competition for her (and Dick), she could well have a brain freeze. Zach on the other hand can play relaxed because noone is expecting him to win.

If Zach manages to beat Danielle I'd expect him to evict Danielle and take Dick to the Final Two. Based on what was said in the jury room it seems that other than Danielle's vote and Eric's vote (more accurately America's vote), the others will be voting for Zach (or more appropriately against Dick).

I'm hoping that Dick does a lot or pre-Round 3 coaching with Danielle to get her wound up so tightly that she can't think straight.

Your stats are numerically skewed. You must consider not only the aggregate number of wins, but the number of people competing. Dani winning a POV early in the season against 10 people has much more weight than Zach winning amongst 3 people.

I actually sat down one night to come up with a fair weighting, but couldn't make sense of the statistics.

As far as Zach 'deserving' to be where he is, now....it's a function of the Donatos. They chose to save the weakest player for last. Remember the Mrs Robinson alliance? Of course you don't, because Dick destroyed it as soon as it reared its ugly head. How about the Late Night Crew? Pulverized.

Dick brought Zach to the dance. Honestly, he brought Dani to the dance as well.

Dick has master-minded this game better than anyone in history. Nope, I would not let him date my daughter. But then again, would you invite Will Kirby and Mike Boogie over for dinner with your wife? I was sickened that Boogie won last year after telling his showmance he wanted to father her baby. But, he played the best game and won the money.

Most of the comments on this blog are ripe with vile hatred of the Donatos. But, you're still watching, aren't you!!
