I have to give you credit HD, I'm quite inmpressed with your dedication. Your blog is great. I have to ask; I've seen FOTH in other posts and wanted to ask what that it. I know it has nothing to do with your post....

I'm not sure if I'd be entertaining in the house at this point either. These people must be kinda nuts at this point. So bored and hating just the presence of the other 2.

From HD - Do a google search for FOTH and Big Brother and you'll be able to find out what it means quicker than I could tell you. LOL

Kudos to Zach! He certainly deserves it...but Dick does deserve some credit for stamina.

Did you happen to catch Dick's little rant after coming out of the DR at approx 4:05pm? They questioned him about the 'BLUE BALL' incident! Apparently they are just now going over the tapes and wondering how the ball got into Jameka's tube. Yep! Dick was saying to Danielle that he can't understand why they're just now looking into it, how with all of their cameras they can't see how the ball got into the tube, and mentioned something about telling Zach that he really didn't win the POV? He went into the DR again later and Danielle asked if he had a good DR with Rick this time and he said yes - end of convo. (

What do you think BB is going to do and what does it all mean?

FOTH - Flush of the House. When we don't get to see something live, they transmit a swirling blue water vortex. In previous seasons, they showed the "Front of the House" in BB6, they showed the " Fish of the House" and in BB7, it was a fireplace and we called it "Fire of the House."

From HD - Many sites also call it Flume of the House this season.

Pretty entertaining chat. Boy, Howie's put on a LOT of weight, at least 20-30lbs I'd say.

Anyways, I bet Howie's opinion of Dick would be different if he knew how often Dick trashed him this year and how harsh he was in trashing him.

Definitely interesting to hear that they both think the DR definitely tries to stir up controversy in the house by throwing out lots of scenarios and ideas to the HG's.

Also interesting to see how they both agreed that without Arnold Shapiro, the show has changed a good bit, mostly when it comes to how far you can go in personal attacks or threats. For example, before, if you threatened to kill someone, you'd have been kicked off the show. This year, Dick has threatened to kill Jen countless times, and nothing has been done about it.

This just further shows that Grodner is a ratings whore and will allow anything for ratings, but it will eventually lead to the demise of BB if they keep doing it.

Also, to further prove how manipulated BB8 has been, during the HOH Comp last night, Dick's hand came off of his key on two different occasions, and one of them was clear as day, yet, BB did nothing & he remained in the game. Meanwhile, you know had Zach's hand BARELY come off the key, he would have been eliminated & the BB Voice would have come over the speakers in a heartbeat.

Dissapointing stuff - it's quite sad how low BB has sunk this year.

THanks for keeping us up to the minute, H.D. My laptop crashed last night and I would have no idea what happened or that Zach won the 1st comp if it weren't for you. I don't think I'd have gotten any work done all day! You're the best!!

the bb8 producers are scared of dick more than the houseguests were..they're afraid of hearing his tirades going off against them and they probably feel grodner would take dicks side..that's why they gave into and gave him back his cigarettes and didn't disqualify him when he took hands off key and did nothing when they found out he and his other child vince concocted a scheme that was as low as anyone can go..but not too low for the donatos

Like many, this is my first post, but not my first time here. And like the rest, I too think you have one heck of a site.

I have been on-again off-again with BB, notably missing BB4 and 5 completely, but got back into it the last two seasons -- but just primtime. Now with the feeds on Showtime Too, plus everyone posting to youtube, I am already immersed more than is probably healthy. Thank heaven for your blog to help me sort it all out, fill in the gaps and GET SOME SLEEP!

Your commentary, while reflecting your individuality, has a nice balance. It is easy to tell when you are sharing your personal feelings and when you are giving objective recaps.

Kevin - I think the same with Kail and how she was sitting up higher than allowed during the first endurance comp. It was clear as day on the feeds and the others were calling it...but nada.

Re: 2 parts of the comp with Dick's key.

1. He switched hands - which was allowable by the rules until after the bunny was busted and they couldn't fix it. Null point.

2. He stretched, and the uproar was that they thought he touched the key. They went to FOTH, and came back after reviewing the tapes. - watching it over again, the other angle showed he did not touch the key - as was determined by BB as well. The competition continued.

Was watching, saw both - that's what happened. (smile)

OMG I cant believe this!! So much for ED throwing the Comp to Dani so she could go head to head with Zach for the 3rd round. Once again I rely upon your early morning Blog to alert me what's what and who's who. Thank you. Mrs

Thanks for all of the help with FOTH. Intersting hisory lesson. I post from my phone and don't have much access to youtube or google but a friend of mine helped me in that area. One thing I did however see on youtube was dani and dick talking about how they SHOULD have been in season 6 but the producers held off until S8. Dani mentioned Arnold Shapiro and also warned Dick not to mention it anymore in the house. What's up with that?
And why was Dick so muddy durring the comp? Forgive me if any of this was covered.

I quit watching showtime weeks ago because of Dick, but because of the endurance comp I watched with the TV on mute. Afterwards I watched the live feeds. What I'm getting at is I agree with Kevin. I thought I saw Dick take his hand off and did you see how much more rain was pouring on Zach than on Dick?

Dick won part 2 of the HoH comp. Part 3 will most likely be questions about the houseguests and I'm not sure how would know more. Zach over heard a lot of convo's but Dick has pretty much talked to everyone so it'll be interesting to see. What do you think HD?

Personally I think the whole disagreement between Dick & Danielle is bogus. I don't believe they haven't spoken in years. Yet, they kept trying out together for the show. I find it all very hard to believe and I find it harder to believe that no one else has brought this up before.

Danielle is a spoiled brat that gets upset at her dad when she PMSes.

Dick and Dani have been interviewing for years and were called back in again this year. Dick's myspace spoke all bout him being on BB before it happened and it evens states he could finally technically speak about it, though it was all over town. we all know he knows the inside people on BB and how this makes an exciting show is beyond me.

So what's with the blue ball - - did Dick put it in there after all? Would they have to bring Eric back if so? And Jameka?

Just saw that Dick won part 2 of the 3 part final HOH so now we know it's between Dick & Zach...this is going to be good!

I think Dick may have made a mistake there- Dani probably would have done better in the final round than Dick can do-unless it was done one at a time and thus impossible to try and fix...

Why will there be a competition between the last 2 people? I thought the jury would vote to see who wins. Is it different this year, did I miss something?

there will be no comp between the last two. Tonight's comp is between the winner of comps 1 and 2. The winner tonight chooses one person to send home; therefore the final two will be tonight's winner and one other guest.

The final two will be judged by the jury house made up of the last seven houseguests sent home.

Hope it clears it up.

Re comment that Danielle gets upset with her dad when she PMSes...What is your explanation for the rest of the time (almost all of the time) she is so nasty??
