Don't Leave Me Yet
So many of you are saying 'See ya next season' already that it's making me sad. As sickened as some of you are at what wll be the probably outcome, don't leave me yet!
We still have lots of good stuff to talk about. Some of those things we still have to discuss are:
* The fallout from Dustin and Amber's racist comments
* The reveal of Eric as the America's Player to the other hamsters
* What was up with sequester
* Eric and Jessica's relationship and how real it is/was
* The finale itself
So see? You can't go just yet! hehehe
What is it that you're looking forward to seeing at the finale? Whose lives do you think will have been changed after the show?

I thought that last nights show was a joke as well. I thought I liked Danielle...but not anymore, what a whiny little bitch she is. I guess I am really hoping for Zach to win the last HOH and take Dick to the finals and smoke him.
Why haven't they shown the sequester house? Either its so boring and not worth watching or everyone is just bitching about how they were wronged and its so tiring that they won't show that either.
When Jessica gets home to Kansas, every one of her girlfriends are going to ask her why. Why would she fall for a little twerp who thinks he is a badass with his pierced nipples and cheesy tattoo. Eric could stop the trend of everyday people trying to look badass just by himself.
I am hoping to see Dick in the finals, which is pretty much a foregone conclusion at this point, just to see everyone give it to him good during the jury process. What will be really interesting is if Danielle is up there with him. She will have to slam him and place all the blame on him for the way they played and that just might really piss of ED.
Thanks for the updates!

HD--you're an awesome blogger. Always the first with new details and lots of good discussion. I hope you blog Survivor or some other reality TV shows so I don't have to wait for next summer to roll around again.
I don't know about the fallout from their racist comments. I have seen them described, but I haven't really searched for them. As a gay man, I frankly a little irritated that so much attention (and press) was directied at one conversation Amber had with (I think it was) Jameka where she said a family member told her she could easily identify a Jew but nobody really seemed to care about the antigay comments Dick directed toward Justin or the horrible things he said to the women in the house.
I'm anxious to see how the other houseguests will react to Eric's revelation. I hope that he is able to tell them BEFORE the final vote. I don't think it's fair that the Donato's received so much help from the public and the producers and the sequestered houseguests deserved to know about it before voting for the best player.
I hate to sound sappy, but I really hope that Eric and Jessica are able to make it on the outside. After all of the gross showmances over the years, it would be nice to see a true romance survive the trauma of Big Brother.

HD,
I get your "don't leave yet" point, but if I watch that bleach-blonde useless wh*** or her white-trash, chain-smoking father for another second I'm likely to have a stroke or something.
It has officially gotten to the point that I hate the Donatos as much, if not more, than I hate Rob and Amber.
My ONLY remaining interest in this season is to see how CBS tries to explain the absence of sequester house footage as well as the absence of Jen at the finale.
Here's something I noticed at the time, but it didn't occur to me to think anything of it until now: When Eric had his sit-down with Chenbot after the producers removed him from the house he said something like "I'll see Jess in the Sequester House." to which Chenbot replied "She's already there." Did Chenbot let it slip that the sequester this season is somewhere on the CBS compound? If you recall there was a problem last year with a hurricane or something and they had to move the sequester. Do we think they just decided to no bother this year?
Remember when there was no sequester at all?
Posted by: EricC at September 10, 2007 06:01 AM
I'm looking forward to seeing if the rumors are true. Did jen walk out of sequester and is that why were not seeing the sequester house? I think all of thier lives will be changed. Specially Amber's daughters. That poor little girl.. i wonder what her new nicknames will be in school. She should ask someone to adopt her. I'm gonna miss Dick so much..just wouldn't want him living next door to me. LOL

Leave? Now? No way, the final four is the point of the game as whomever wins last HOH and POV usually wins the game.
Are fans not clear on what BB is really about? It's about deceiving and manipulating to be the winner.
Would you like ED if he was 30 yrs old, cute and well spoken like Dr. Will? Of course you would.
As in Survivor, who puts the goals up front, BB is a game to outwit, outlast and outplay the other players. So far only D&D have managed all three.
I have to admit I'm flip flopping and no longer want Zach to go to final 2. He lost me with his phony God talk and ass kissing Jam for second place money. I mean come on, he's rediscovered his faith for $50,000?
The BB winner should be the player who dominated the game, not a floater, even if I don't personally care for their ethics, tactics or personality.
There has only been two winners Dr. Will and Lisa, who I was happy to see win. The rest have all been revolting human beings, but that isn't the point of the game and I still watch like a good little feed hamster, don't I? LOL!
Plus, won't it be fun to watch jury squirm as they have to choose a Donato to award $500,000?
BTW- I think the jury was so contentious that they are in individual sequester as before the show begins.

This is my feedback I just sent to CBS:
CBS I certainly hope you are going to give Dick a penalty vote. Clearly he & his son Vincent planned to cheat with coded messages in his letter. I see no difference from Jen eating when she was on slop. The fact that the message was outdated should not matter the intent was there. What about his previous HOH & letter? Was it from Vincent & did he receive timely information that time around? Regardless he should get a penalty vote & if that is what sends him out the house then its his own fault.
Now to add to the above:
If he were to get a penalty vote from CBS that would make him & Jam tie & Zach to cast the tie breaking vote! That would make the final 3 Zach, Jam & Dani.....I didnt want Dani there but at least it's only 1 Donato :)
Posted by: Cathy at September 10, 2007 06:19 AM
Nope not gonna leave yet. I can't stand to watch the live feeds anymore though. I think I stopped watching at the final 4 last year just because there isn't a lot going on except talk about what has already happened in the house ...zzzzzzz
I am looking forward to seeing the final endurance challenge on Tuesday and maybe something about the sequester house. I wonder if they are going to do a sequester episode next Sunday since they usually do not have a show that day before the Finale.
Thank's again HD, keep up the great work!! :-)

BJ, I think you're right. If they put that crew in sequester together, somebody's gonna wind up dead. That Late-Night Crew doesn't appear so lovey-dovey anymore.
While we are all adicts on this boards, remember the general public doesn't follow the game as intensely. The only thing the public sees is aa fairy-tale ending. Dad 'n Daugher get back together and win a half-million bucks. How good does that look for the headlines? BB is all about family values, right?
It's all just entertainment, and BB dished up a bowl of slop, just like America wanted. Let's face it, nobody want to watch the Brady Bunch anymore.

HD, i will try to hold on with you but i always leave by this time to cause its always someone i cant stand thats in the final 3 but i will try cause u have kept me abreast of everything and i really do appreciate you HD!! keep up the good work and i will talk with you soon again.

For all of the D&D haters: You crack me up on how personally offended you get about them. What did they ever do to you??? Like all of the weaker players who mainly used personal tactics verses true strategies, you need to step back for a moment. Dick in particular was using calculated choices (calling Dustin "Princess" and the such) to get into the players' heads and throw them off. As a gay man, it did not bother me at all. As for Amber and Dustin's true ignorance, their actions and words were not tactical, but came from a place within them that is sad to say the least. Hopefully they will one day understand. I have no doubt that Dick is in command of his senses when he uses these things to manipulate said target. He would never have survived in his outside world with all of the different people he has come in contact with in L.A.
One Last Time PEEPS - IT IS A GAME!!! Get over the fact your hamster couldn't keep up with the competition (need I remind you that they had many opportunities to get the Donatos out of the house, but failed). Like them, Hate them, but without them, the show would have been very boring least you enjoy people sitting around holding hands sing Kumbaya 24/7?
Great season CBS - keep up the twists and lets hope that the Entertainment next season can even exceed this one - tho I wonder how you will top ED!

I have to say that I love Evel D and like Daniele. Yes, she is very immature, but in the end I hope that Evel D takes first and Dani takes 2nd. They have both played a strategic game. I don't agree with the F-bomb and such, but in the end, it was how Evel played. He was up front with everyone, and that is not what alot of people like to see, but I would rather see and hear that then all of the nudity and make-out sessions. LOVE THIS YEAR!
Posted by: Michelle W at September 10, 2007 06:48 AM
OK. You talked me into it. LOL I'll stick around a while longer.
I hope Amber's Jewish comments are not blown up any more. She has enough problems as it is. I really think she doesn't mean any harm. She knows Eric is Jewish and she was really friendly with him until the game got in the way.
The sequester house mystery is intriguing. Maybe they are separated this year to protect the Donatos from a group vote against them.
I do want to see the fall-out from the AP twist. Hopefully we will get to see the footage. In any event, there will be a mixed reaction.
Jess and Eric. I guess I'm an old romantic. I hope they are sincere. I know Eric is and I think Jess likes him a lot but how much is the question. I hope you can get some follow up through the off-season.
The finale will probably make me sick to my stomach watching D & D gloating. Would love to see Dani whining because she finished third. Then again she might not even go to the post wrap party. She'll be in a corner pouting about how unfaaair it is and how she haaates everybody. On second thought she will go because Nick will be there. Poor guy. I hope Dick doesn't give her a dime. If she finishes 1st or 2nd. I can't see her sharing with him.
In any case, your blog has been the bright spot to the season. Most times it has been like you and I are sharing a brain. LOL. Does that make us half-wits? LOL LOL.
Please, please, pretty please do Survivor or some other reality show. Maybe Amazing Race or even America's Next Top Model. Hey, maybe we'll see Amber there. LMAO. Finally I ramble too much.
To all the people who write in here. Even the one's I don't agree with. It's been interesting to read their comments and see how passionate some get. It wouldn't be as interesting if we all agreed.
Keep up the good work HD. Love ya.

This has been a great blog throughout this BB season. As a first time viewer of BB, I have been totally disappointed in the show itself. After watching the manipulation of the network which was so obvious I know I will not give this program a second chance next year, if it has another season after this disaster. IF they are going to have defined rules, then they should be followed. Allowing Jen to be punished for an infraction, yet letting Dick get away with so much is just plain wrong. Do I care what happens to any of them after the show, absolutely not.
The information gained here and on the Showtime latenight feed is far more realistic and true than what we see on the edited primetime program. It is amazing how CBS can make people appear, definitely not what you see when you read about them here or see them live on the feed. It is no wonder America's votes were so off the mark. I am sure most voted according to what they saw on regular primetime shows and how wrong they were. I would also like to see an accounting of the votes. How do we know they were tallied honestly? Were they tallied to manipulate the show? I happen to think so.
\Keep up the good work here because I think this is the most unbiased place to get BB info.
Posted by: Ronjj at September 10, 2007 06:55 AM
Jeff,
I don't know what show you have been watching but I don't think CBS has shown Dick and Daniele in a good light at all. They show most of Dick's rants and Daniele's whining on the episodes.
I would think if there was any bias it was with america's sweethearts Eric and Jessica, they hardly showed any of Eric's nasty commets (behind people's backs) or Jessica's drunken moments in the house. They made them seem squeaky clean.
And I have been watching the feeds and the show, maybe not as much as most because I have to get some sleep otherwise I am a zombie at work!! LOL
Posted by: Roz at September 10, 2007 06:59 AM
Go ahead and censor this as much as need be HD, but I am going to let loose.
Last night's episode pissed me off soooo bad.
All of the recaps just left a sour taste in my mouth, and hearing all of Dick and Daniele's smart ass comments in the DR almost made it unbearable to watch. I feel like I need to call Dr Will to give me Botox because I have some new frown/scowl lines on my face after this episode.
Daniele is such a whiny little bitch! Cry me a fucking river. They sit and talk about how Zach was delusional and then when he steps up the game and gets them both on the block they make it seem like he is a backstabber and ruthless.
TAKE A LOOK IN THE FARKING MIRROR YOU HYPOCRITES!
And I am disgruntled that CBS didn't bother to show Dick's conversation about the coded letter and pretty much admitting that he was cheating by using outside influences. I guess that would hurt their ratings...
I HOPE HOPE HOPE that Zach wins the final HoH.
p.s. I can't believe that I am this heated over a TV show LOL!
Posted by: Stephie at September 10, 2007 07:04 AM
Thanks for keeping us updated for so long. Danielle gets on my nerves so bad and I really cant stand her but at the same time I cant imagine being quarantined with my dad who I dont get along with either for that long. That took alot to get through and while I think she only used him and will go back to being the brat that she is on Sept 19th it still took alot to get there. Ultimately I do hope zach has a chance to win after everyone treated him like crap for so long but thats seems a pretty slim chance...
Posted by: Jen at September 10, 2007 07:08 AM
Go Dani and Dick! All the way to the final 2! You both rock and deserve to win. They are both great players! Thanks for your blogging HD! I hope you do Survivor too!

Heavens knows what everyone would have had to say about Dustin, Amber and Jameka had they all been in the final three. Do we all forget how we cheered when Dustin was sent packing. Do we forget how our eyebrows raised when Jameka and Amber held their gospel revivals every week for weeks and weeks. Once again we had a mixed bag of nuts in the house that we loved or hated. When this show started I absolutely adored Dustin and Jameka. That's before they both started acting like morons. I have never really appreciated Dick's abuse of people, but, I have loved Dani from the start. Yeh she whines, so what? Yeh, she's 21 years old and a little immature about handling her whackadoodle dad. But look at everyone else? Who deserved to win? Zach? Oh come on. Zach has acted like a dufus this entire game and we have all called him on it. And the final ridiculous straw was him saying last night that Jameka had given him back his faith in God? Now when the heck did that happen? I think it happened about the time he saw that he needed to rope in Jameka in case she was in the final three. Even Jameka raised her eyebrows on that one. What about Dustin? Come on he's a smug mean jerk. Eric? Eric says things that are just as mean as Dick's treatment of people. To say some of the things he has said.. like... that he is going to the jury house in the hopes of finding that Jen is dead from a shark attack? That's hideous people. Jameka? I still to this day think that she's played up her religion and used it. I have no doubt that she is deeply religious. Jessica? Sorry, love Jessica, but she's a follower and a bit of a tipsy doodle. She shot herself in the foot for not thinking for herself. And what about poor Amber, who is gonna need heavy counseling and support when she gets out of the house and discovers that she is one of the least popular people and most fun of people ever on Big Brother. And Jen? Who the heck in this world and beyond has a clue about the real Jen? She's an enigma. I rooted for her one week and booed her the second. If I'd had my druthers, Nick, Joe and Dani would have been the final three, but I still would have rooted for Dani. Why? Cuz she's a whiny brat. Cuz she has a nutbag mean father who has greatly affected her life and the way she deals with people. Cuz she raises her eyebrows and laughs at people who are stupid. Cuz she says dated old fashioned things and gets a kick out of simple things and is really rather old fashioned about a lot of things. Cuz she kicks butt in competitions. Cuz she's highly competitve. Cuz she's smart. Cuz she's the real deal.

I love the show this year. I tried not to get to excited because my favorites rarely win, but this year looks like their gonna. CBS isnt stupid, they knew the letter was coded thats why he didnt get it until it was insignificant, who cares. And don't you all remember Howie from last year, he just set the stage for ED this year. These people know the rules, they can do anything but hit each other, so they all know what their in for. If they can't take it,they shouldn't be there. It's an all out battle in this game, a study in human nature. I don't condone what ED did, but it got him to the end. Daniele played great, she won the povs and hoh so basically was able to work great with her dad for them both to get to the end. I hope they both make final 2 and beyond that I hope cbs doubles the price to a million for them....Loved this Season...
PS. Zach's only muscle is in his head

I'll be interested to see how long the HOH endurance comp goes Tuesday-That's probably Zach's best shot to get to the last part of the F3 HOH.

HD,
I thought I was done with this pitiful season, but as I walked by my daughters room, I see ED and Dani going at it again about how wonderful they are, and how no one can touch them, and how they alone advanced anyone and everyone in this game!! I watch as these two losers sit there and rip on Zach like he is garbage. They have got to be the two worst HG's this game has seen. Not in there competitions, but in their total dysfunctional attitudes. ED is just out and out an escaped convict, and Dani is nothing more than a selfish, whiney, wannbe Janelle. Unfortunetaly for her, she is no Janelle, more of a Diane, Ericka, Holly combination of trash!
They are both so stupid as human beings, and that is giving them more credit than they deserve.
I think these two losers will not even admit to their 'holier than thou' selves when they finally see this show, that they are still there for one and only one reason, the poor choices America made in having Eric help advance them.
ED should have been out, no questions asked, with a physical attempt on Jen. (so the hell what that it was iced tea? what if it had been hot coffee? Physical is physical no matter what your rating delemia is CBS! END of that story!)
I was okay with giving this game to ED for play, but now I am on my knees praying that Zach can pull this off. If either of those two win, it will leave that awful vomit taste in my mouth as I had when Maggie won, saying to myself,"what the f__k???"
One last thing. Them comparing themselves to ChillTown and or anywhere close to Will or Boogie, has sent a flow down my legs as I PMPLMAO!!! More like PukeTown.... Nick, be the Gingerbread Man, and run, run, as fast as you can.....
I hope as their 15 minutes of fame wears off, that they both go nowhere, put their winnings in nose candy and blow what little brains they have, out!
So there, now I am done.... The two real winners are gone, Jen and Eric...

I'm with ya HD. I'm not thrilled with any of the remaining hamsters but I still love the game. I've stopped watching the feeds mainly due to sleep deprevation. I've been thinking about Sequester and wonder if they are in solitary sequester, watching the remaining hamsters or what???? There has to be a reasonable explanation for not showing the sequestered hamsters. I'm just wondering what it is.... My big hope is that we get some emotionally mature hamsters next year.

GO DICK AND DANI!!!!!!!!!!
Took one of the readers advice and wrote CBS a very long email. Instead of bitching at them like a good portion of these posters, I thanked them for such a good job this year and ESPECIALLY for the casting of Dick and Daniele whom I LOVE!!!!!
Great players and SO much fun to watch!! I am astounded by the level of hate on this site. If you all were saying these things in person, on the 24/7 feeds, you would be just like the people you hate so much. So judgemental and critical. Wow!
Dick and Dani have played the best game......NO QUESTION AT ALL. Sour grapes cause your favorite didn't make it is just very sad.
We don't know why people are the way they are so sitting in judgement over them as people is really not your place. Judge them on their game play.

Don't worry, no ones leaving you! We say that "Sadly" because BB8 is coming to an end already! All of us good or bad will watch it until the end. Thanks for all of the posts and hardwork.
See you next season of BB, Jennifer :)

Hi there!
I've only posted once or twice... and my I say (as others have so many times) - you are AWESOME! I love being updated daily... LOVE IT! Anyway... I do have a BURNING question! I cannot recall... how this upcoming eviction works. If you've already explained it, I apologize for not being up to date on your blogs... but can you please point me to the right direction where I can get my question answered?
Who is the deciding vote? Is it all up to Danielle (yuck)? Or does Zach get tp choose who leaves (I hope I hope I hope).
Thanks and GO ZACH!!!

One of the comments made was "all you D&D haters, what have they ever done to you". Well, what they've done to me is ruin a show I truly enjoy. I know "it's just a game" and you need to "lie & backstab & make deals". For me, that was always the best part of the show. Seeing who could change whose minds, watching people interact and sometimes explode. It was fun. This year, verbal and mental abuse masqueraded as "strategy". Nasty name calling and being mean spirited was an every day event. And who set the tone, D & D, and the ratings hungry CBS. D & D's negative agenda was like a virus that spread to the other HG's. They were all mean spirited, but I guess it was the only way to survive the daily torment. My guily summer pleasure, turned into a 3 month long episode of Jerry Springer. No, I don't want to see the houseguests all get along, but I don't want to see people miserable and fearful and bullied. So, what the Donatos did to me was make summer must see tv show into a summer turn off the tv show.
Posted by: joanne at September 10, 2007 08:14 AM
The end of the season is always a let down for me because we really never get much out of everyone. They're still in "BB house mode" when they do their interviews so their answers are probably totally different than what they would be if they'd had a chance to get back into the real world and watch the show first. It's sort of sad because we had access to these people 24/7 and all of a sudden they want to go back to their private lives and leave us out. The nerve! lol
I am mostly looking forward to seeing sequester this year. I still think it's weird that they haven't shown it. I'm irrationally hoping for a last twist and that they jury have been the ones running the cameras or something.
Of course I am also looking forward to the other houseguests hearing about AP. I wonder if they'll all be mad, or if they'll be more apt to forgive his back stabbing moves when they find out he didn't have a say in his votes.
I am also slightly curious to see if Jessica really had any feelings for Eric or not. But that is one of those things that, unless they "broke up" in sequester, we probably won't hear much about aside from the "maybe something will happen outside the house..." type comments.
I feel bad for Amber because her dumb comments will cause her trouble outside the house and I don't want to see any of the houseguests suffer. Whether I liked their characters in the house or not, I don't wish anything bad on any of them. Amber has a daughter and a family to go home to and I hope she and her daughter are able to go on with their lives without too much trouble. I'd hate to see her life ruined because of this show. Amber is not a smart girl or a stable one. Obviously the drugs messed with her brain. I honestly don't think she'll even remember saying those things when it's brought up to her in interviews.

Alright... I've got these 2 cents burning a hole in my pocket!
As far as judging them on their gameplay... I have to agree with Zach. Dick and Danielle's tactics have been awful (especially Dick's). There is no excuse for his behavior... and the way they keep putting down Jen... really. They need to grow up. I mean... I expect that kind of childish behavior from a lieing 20-21 year old... but not a grown man, Geeez! They need to get over it already...
And no... no sour grapes here... I never had a favorite. They were all kind of boring this year... there was just nothing else on TV. I really hope next year is better. I hope they (CBS) go "back to the basics" and fill the house with complete... average Joe type strangers.... I guess we'll see!
Ok... so that's my extra 2 cents : )
Posted by: Anna at September 10, 2007 08:21 AM
I for one will still be there at the end with you HamsterDame.
I'll be missing BB8 as soon as it's over - need to find something else to do with all the hours and hours of time I have spent hamster watching. It is a good thing that the feeds get boring and slow at the end - a weaning period for us addicts!
I strongly dislike the Donatos but they have each played a solid game in their own style. It must have been extremely difficult playing this game and dealing with intense personal issues. There is a reason for the box of tissues in every therapist's office!
I think that Dani is self-absorbed, manipulative and emotionally stunted but she never disolved into "Whamber" behaviour and she was under a lot more emotional pressure.
Dick is just a foul little git but he tried and to some extent suceeded in repairing some of the relationship with his daughter. When he won the POV and took her off the block - it was a heroic moment, esp as he knew he would probably go home because of it.
Dick and Dani have come a long way this summer - in the game and with each other. I do not like them but if they win they will have earned it

I can't believe I am about to write this but this season has been my least favorite. I still enjoyed the season but didn't really form a big fan following for anybody.
In the early weeks, I mostly liked Dustin, Jameka, and Jessica. I then favored Jen. Then Zack. Dick is going to be my least favorite houseguest of all time and that says a lot since I didn't think it was possible to move past my dislike of BB6's Nerdherd.
I do not give a hoot about the Dick and Danielle relationship, their much boohoohoo'd past, their on the mend actions. As I previously commented, if I hear anyone commend Dick in the finale for taking his daughter off the block with the veto I will be even further more disappointed with the BB trend of casting a loving glow on these two people. The 'atta boy' attention he got for that was a joke as it clear no one expected the loser dad to do the right thing as a parent and that doesn't say much.
Being a BB fan means I have to acknowledge that getting to the Final 4 does demand respect as a gameplayer. Luck, strategy, smart choices... it's all part of it. So congrats to all 4.
I'm pulling for either Zack or Jameka. Should Dick or Danielle win I predict they will piss through their winnings, like those new to money do. And then they will go back to hating and whining and will probably get a new tattoo or something.
Posted by: Kate at September 10, 2007 08:29 AM
It appears many BB fans have had a change of heart about leaving the feeds and ignoring the show. I knew you were all liars! Oops, did I say that?
Nobody seems to remember how horrible darling little Jess treated Eric; she spoke to him like he was her slave and demanded things of him; get me this, get me that; she acted like a spoiled, rich cheerleader, whining voice and all; pathetic! She even told him that he should be on the block, not her. That was real romantic! Idiot Eric just laughs it off and continues to whisper sweet nothings in her ear as she lays there like a stiff board. I am glad to not be continuously watching them; it seems that the producers, if anything, showed more feeds of them than anyone else in the house; Jameka was just a puppet doing everything Jess & Eric wanted her to do; she would have done anything to get this far in the show. Her word is her word; well, we will see just how far her word goes when she gets to the jury house and can't wait to tell everyone everything that has spun to her.
It is a game; anyone who puts themselves in a house with strangers for a whole summer, giving up family, jobs, etc., to be possibly mistreated, has to be crazy. I guess money is the root of all evil. Why would a true christian put themselves through that? They were saying the "F" word a lot so they will certainly need to be in church continuously. If people can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen; better yet, don't put yourself in the situation to begin with, for any amount of money. Look at Amber; she will need counseling after she sees the feeds; who knows who else is going to be permanently scarred from being on the show?
Other than Amber, I don't think of other houseguest will be scarred. They all showed their true colors.
Got D&D final two! It would be interesting to hear from the jury why people chose one over the other. Zach has come alive too late to win! He hasn't said two words to Jam all season and now he is pouring out his heart in hopes she can persuade the jury to vote for him; pretty arrogant to think he is going to be in the final two after floating all summer? But then, again, isn't it ok for everyone except D&D to be arrogant?

I apologize HD, yes, I was ready to sign out of this season right after I learned Dani won the POV. I was so disappointed. I am still hoping it is Zach and ED in the end with Zach being the winner. Or if it is ED and Dani in the end, Dani as second place, but I don't think that is how the jury will vote.
On finale night I hope it goes like this. Everyone but Eric has voted and then Julie Chen makes the announcement that America has been voting their choices thru Eric throughout the whole game and now America is casting their vote again for the winner. And then some footage of Eric putting mustard on Jen's shirt, the woobie, etc. That would be great. Then we could see the HG's facial expressions as they watch the footage of America's Player in action!
Tonight's show was lame. Let's hope Tuesday is better. I am done with the feeds and BBAD, but I will stick it out with you HD and the rest of the group! XXOO
Posted by: BBFANINDALLAS at September 10, 2007 08:43 AM
I think it would be great before Eric votes, Julie tells the HG"S that he was America's Player.
The reaction on his and everyone elses faces would be priceless. All of them knowing while he goes in to vote, it is really our vote. How sweet would that be?
I know there alot of people despise D&D, on their tactics of the game, but that is it, it's just a game. The other HG's are not perfect either. I liked Eric as AP until he made the bad remarks about D&D ( you all know what I am talking about) and the people in that HOH room didn't call him on it. When they didn't say anything to Eric about his remarks, I could have cared less if anyone of them would of stayed in the house. The most person I hated was Eric and in second place was Dustin.
At least Dick told them to their face what he thought. They were cowards and said worse things behind both D&D backs!
Good Luck to D&D, I hope that one of them wins. They worked the hardest to get there and one of them deserves the money.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I think ED deserves a penalty vote for his attempt at cheating. What a goof for saying it out loud to Dani! I think you are right HD that it very well could affect whether future HOH's get a letter from home, and that sucks. I know CBS just loves their ED, but a cheat is a cheat! How sad too that ED's son was trying to tell him that his allies E & J were true to the alliance! Oh well.
Posted by: BBFANINDALLAS at September 10, 2007 08:59 AM
For all of the people who are wondering how anyone could call the Donatos lowlifes, or who "hates" Dick as a person based on his game tactics (judging his real life by the way he plays the game), I would like to illustrate how his game-play seems to be how he's lived his life outside the house.
His daughter (not sure about his son) was left to be raised by his mother. He claims to have not abandoned Daniele, but did he not move to Hawaii when his children were younger? Daniele looked at him with daggers in her eyes when he said that he never abandoned her. When it served his selfish interests and his life, he left his child(ren) behind; this is what he has done in the game. He makes promises and alliances, but as soon as something better comes along, he drops it because it serves him. While this is the point of the game, knowing he dumped his responsibilities as father on his own mother proves the kind of crap he has been capable of in this game is also his MO in life. If you don?t do what I want, I?ll make your life a living hell.
While I agree that the point of this game is to do whatever you can to win, the things people are capable of speak volumes about their character. If you are capable of spewing the kind of hateful things that have flowed from Dick?s mouth, then that says something about your true character. What people do and say when they are under this type of pressure shows who they really are. Jameka and Zach have proven that they are loyal, but that when push comes to shove they will watch out for themselves ? they both seem more like the average person who is placed under this type of pressure ? gossip and bad-mouthing people behind their backs and only turning on people when it comes down to a ?you or me? scenario. Dick and Daniele have proven that they are willing to personally hurt people to get what they want ? Daniele does it by using her dad to do the dirty work because she knows he?ll go after anyone personally. Dick has actually said he will ruin someone (Zach) personally so he loses his job outside the house. Why would anyone go that far? (Zach?s comment didn?t seem as racist to me as it did ignorant. Plus that phrase has always had a meaning of ?who do you think you are?? to me anyway because white people have always felt superior for some reason ? I took it as he was putting Eric down for feeling he had power based on nothing.)
Part of playing a game is being a good sport. So far I?ve not seen Dick or Daniele show any kind of good sportsmanship. They have been sore losers every single time something has not gone their way. Daniele is worse in this area, but Dick isn?t exactly a good sport either. He seems to think he owns the game, and if he offers a deal for a vote to stay one more week to someone, they owe him to the point where they are willing to go home for him. That is the epitome of entitlement.

HD You are an awesome blogger. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date.
I hope to see Zach and Dick as the F2 and hope Zach wins by a landslide. Can't wait to hear their comments. It's the only thing worth watching in the future.
I keep hearing . . . it's a game. This is what I have to say. Yes, I get it, it's a GAME. I understand the friendships, backstabbing, twisting, lying, etc., And I'll give Dick and Dani that, they were the best at that and that's fun to watch. What I don't GET is the physical abuse by Dick, the comments he made about the HG's lifestyle, choice of occupations, and religious beliefs, etc., That's unforgiveable. The last draw is when he wanted Jameka to swear on her Bible. Her answer was great, "my word is good enough." How awful of him. Then he out and out cheats with a letter from his son. He should get a penalty vote just as Jen did earlier. A plant to Cheat is much worse than eating a turkey burger after you've been on slop for days . . ..
Jen was so right in the second or third week when she put Dick and Daniele on the block. She said they were the negative people in the house.
Posted by: AnneinMichigan at September 10, 2007 09:01 AM
OK, since when did the phrase "Its just a game!" come to mean - you can leave behind all social morals and behave as despicably as you are capable of??? Would anyone out there really continue to play a game with someone who said and did the things SOME players have? OF course not, you would walk away. You would never see them again. Which is what the viewers should do to CBS, for allowing these inappropriately chosen players to muck up what used to be a fun, family friendly show.
Posted by: Lynn at September 10, 2007 09:05 AM
Well done ben you saved me typing all those word. You said it all thanks. The only thing better I'd like to see done is get rid of that jury (the ship of fools that they are) and let us be the final twist and the only vote at the end. Go Dick you deserve to win.
Posted by: kuda at September 10, 2007 09:06 AM
I'm sorta tired of everyone saying that ED has been upfront with everyone all season. While he played that way early on in the game (almost to an extreme level, in my opinion), he and Dani have not played that way for several weeks... turning on Jesssica and Eric was the first point and they were playing Zach and Jameka off of each other this week.
That said, I think Dick has played a brilliant, if not somewhat dirty game. I hate the guy because of some of his dirty, dirty tactics, but I cannot deny that he has masterfully played the game.
Dani - she's a whiny bitch who just came along for Dick's ride... and will probably win.
I'm sticking around, if for no other reason to see if Zach can manage to win HOH and get rid of at least one of the Donatos.
Posted by: Bill K at September 10, 2007 09:06 AM
joanne - if the Donatos only sin was ruining your tv show, you always had the choice not watch, but I guess you continued to watch no matter how disgusted with their behavior you were. In the ever wisdom of Jameka...Hmmmmmmmmm
So far as their negative effect on the rest of the hamsters, when can we start to take responsibility for our own happiness? Blaming others for how you are is never the answer. One of the few things that was "good" about Jen was that she was not going to let Dick's behavior influence her demeanor and always had a smile on her face and a happy-go-lucky disposition. To simply blame D&D for the atmosphere in the house is the easy typical way of how people like to view the world about them. Only you can be in charge of your own happiness!
Go Dick! Go Dani! 550Gs...

I will stick with BB8 until the end. I have to admit that I hope the Donato's make it to the final 2 even though I know they are not your favs. They have at least played the game this season and I want ED to win! I would not want Jameka or Zach to win at this stage of the game, because...it is a game and Jameka hasn't played at all. She has just ridden on the backs of everyone else throughout the whole show. Zach has stepped it up a little with his game play at the end, but again...he has stated so many times that he doesn't need to win and 2nd place will do. I also think it will be interesting to see who the HG's in sequester would give the money to if they have only D and D to chose from. This show is really about the game and how the HG's play it...The two D's have made this show very entertaining and worthwhile to watch! As for Eric and Jessica, I believe they care for each other...who knows how it will go when they get back to real life. I wouldn't put it past Jen to have left the sequester house because she wasn't there to win, she was there for the experience! Why bother to stay when you have been kicked out. I wish they would have shown the sequester house because you get to see the shock on the other jurors faces and hear their sides of the story. Again, I vote for the 2 D's to make it to the finals and for ED to win! He has played a great game despite the immaturity of some of his actions...he can get to people and mess up their game. It is all strategy! GO DONATO's!!!!!

All I have to say is that all the house quests sat back and watched what Dick was doing. They applauded his behavior because it meant they didn't have to get there hands dirty. They all said degrading things in the house the only difference is that Dick had the guts to say them to their faces. At least when they get to watch the season they'll know what to expect from Dick while the others will probably be hurt by what their so call close buddies in the house were actually saying.
Posted by: Joan at September 10, 2007 09:45 AM
JAKE>>> I am so with you on this! I have wanted Dick and Dani to go to the end from the beginning. Dick repulses me as much as anyone with his filthy habits, but dammit he played the game best! Dani may have an irritating voice, but dammit she played the game best! Look at some of the stats...
1)As for Dicks bad habits, although I wouldn't want him in my family, consider the winner of last year's show, Boogie, who constantly picked his nose and did things with contents of his nasal passages that I won't mention but will leave to your imagination. He also bit his nails and drank too much. He cursed all the time and was featured in a popular celebrity crime web site with a mug shot. (A fact which was verified last year)
2)Talk about abuse of women, Will and Boogie used Janelle and Erica for their own pleasure to get ahead in the game and laughed about it every chance they got in the DR. But everybody thought that was funny because they were the cool "chilltown".
3)Daniele has been criticized for her romance with Nick when she still had a boyfriend at home.
As much as I love Janie, so did she do the same. Jessica also had a boyfriend back home whom she did name and there are youtube clips of her and eric sleeping together, not just a sweet little romance.
My point being that being a BB watcher for 8 years running, there is nothing new that these people are doing, we just see more of it and so we are quick to judge people by our standards. Me included. I think that's one of the reasons I stuck by D&D. If they pull this out they will make history as the first pair, the first father-daughter team to win BB. With all of the obstacles they have had stacked against them and for Dani to win as many competitions as small as she is, proves to me that they are worthy of whatever winnings BB is offering. Of course Dick and Dani are flawed human beings, aren't we all?
But that doesn't make any of us unworthy of the good things in life if we work hard for them and in my book, they have worked their asses off for this. They have outlasted, outwitted and outplayed everyone thus far this season and that IS what BB is all about. It isn't a personality contest.
HD, Thank you so much again for your wonderful blog this year. It was fun, funny and kept me on my toes as we were cheering for different people. I love your live chats and funny pics. Thanks for everything and hope to find you somewhere on Survivor!

What I am looking for at the finale?
Not really sure because the final 2 hasn't been established yet. Which will determine how much of the final I actually watch.
I want to see the reactions to the AP reveal and that is all I can solidly say about the finale.
As far as the hamsters lives each one will be changed in some way but those seeking celebrity I just have to say good luck.
Wow, this is going to be probably my shortest post here ever but I am not leaving. I may not like the playas left but I still like the game.

As much as I don't care for the double D's, one of them will win. The only thing to look forward to now is the comments that will come from the jury members. Oh wait, once D & D get out of the house they'll find out what we all thought of them!! Dick won't care, but Danielle will think it "sucks, sucks, sucks!" She'll whine and cry and blame her father for everything, and not take responsibility for her behavior.
Posted by: cathy j at September 10, 2007 10:52 AM
Actually david, I did chose to stop watching the show, right after Jen was evicted. I do, however, read Silly Hamsters daily because it's well written & funny. And why is it whenever someone voices an opinion that is not flattering towards the donatos, someone has to call that person out. It seems to me that some, (not all) donato fans are bullies too. But again, it's my opinion and my voice.
Posted by: joanne at September 10, 2007 10:57 AM
LET THEM GO!!!
You know what's funny. A lot of people that have issue with the Donatos, go on to describe them in ways that make those same people just like teh Donatos. It seems that the things that they dislike about the Donatos seeps right through when they make these nasty comments about the Donatos. GET OVER IT IT'S A GAME. Just admit that the people that you supported just weren't good at the game. You picked the wrong pony. SUCKS to be U.
So sorry.

When Dick got that coded letter from Vincent, he likened himself to Johnnie Fairplay from Survivor. Does anyone know if Fairplay was punished for his lie/stunt or if the rules of Survivor have changed?
It seems to me that the people calling the loudest for Dick to get a penalty vote already didn't like him. I have not read a single post from someone that said "I used to like him but changed my mind after he admitted the letter was a signal".
The same with America's Player - It seems that those complaining the most about America's Player and how it affected the game personally didn't like Eric.
Remember to expect the unexpected. That is the premise of the game. I believe that there are plenty who would be saying this was boring IF there weren't any or these controversies to dissect/discuss.

Another question if I may to my fellow feed watchers.
A few days ago (saturday??), I heard Zach tell Jameka that he was a champion level chess player online. He told her to feel free to share that with the people in the jury house but asked her not to tell D & D.
Last night, I heard Daniele say something about Zach being a chess champion. Any idea how she found out?
From HD - Zach told Dick about it last night.
Posted by: Peggy at September 10, 2007 11:21 AM
Yeah, I am not going anywhere yet either. Too many questions I want answered first. Can't wait to see the response about America's player and I am curious too why there has been no sequester footage. Anywho, I will say, I went to the dentist this morning and had a filling replaced. I enjoyed that so much better than Dani's freaking whining last night! She is such a brat! Her voice drives me insane!! I am actually pulling for Zach all the way now!!

This season isn't even over yet, and I'm wanting a "where are they now" episode about six months out - - mostly to see if Amber is in a jacket with wraparound sleeves or how she otherwise copes with her public persona she created. Throw Eric / Jessica; Daniele / Nick; Dustin and Jen into the show. The rest of the HG's from this season I would have no curiosity about and I've never wanted such a show from past seasons. When All-Stars was over I sincerely hoped I'd never see or hear of any of them again - - and yet they keep tormenting me!
I usually go through withdrawal at the end of each BB season - - but it's starting earlier this year. Though we didn't have BBAD last year, it's been a regular ritual of mine each night and now I don't want to watch. I had BB on last night while I was doing other things and barely saw it. It's taped, so I'll probably get around to watching it before tomorrow's show, but there's no hurry. Still - - I haven't lost my zest for THIS site. It's still the first and last site I check each day (and the one I pop into most often throughout the day). I might not be too excited about the remainder of the show, but I'm still a loyal hamsterette.
(P.S. PLEASE blog Survivor!)

HD-
I love your blog! Thanks so much.
I would like to see if somehow you could work into one of your blog entries a question about how many of us think that the Donatos were given a huge benefit in this game because they were the only ones who had an obvious partner from day one.
I don't know how real the "fights" between the two were but even if it was serious it still wasn't enough to keep them from helping each other through the game. That gave all the other players a big disadvantage from the start. It is because of this help that was given them that I really can't cheer for them although they are the best players. Too bad!
I think that Eric had to play this game with one hand tied behind his back because of being AP but at least he was well compensated for doing it. None of the others have been compensated or helped in any way to offset the head start that the Producers gave the Donatos by putting them in the game together.
I hate all these twists that the Producers seem to think are cute. I would love for next season to be pure... just a house full of strangers who have no connections and no head starts and no twists of any kind.
So HD, how do you feel about this? Do you agree that the Donatos were given a very large unfair advantage from the start?
Posted by: Susie at September 10, 2007 11:31 AM
Susie, I totally agree with your comments. You are right on the mark!
Posted by: Ronjj at September 10, 2007 11:43 AM
We should all be e-mailing cbs and demanding a penalty for ED wouldn't he be furious if he ended up with a penalty for cheating he got such a kick when Jen got a penalty for eating wouldn't that be awesome if Zach got to be the deciding vote lol
Posted by: Trish at September 10, 2007 11:48 AM
Stephie - You go girl! You rock! Couldn't have said it better, myself!
ben f - don't agree with your crush on Daniele BUT most of your other insights are in sync with mine. Just funnier. Perhaps HD could use you as a guest poster next time she wants to take a day off (or my other favorite posters: "v", bbfanindallas (see below), shamrock . . . to name a few).
bbfanindallas - and all others who have mentioned the penalty nomination and Dick's cheating. (By the by, it's still cheating even if it doesn't get you anywhere.) I think Dick should get a penalty nom just for being stupid enough to admit to it when no one would have been the wiser.
diff - I know the LMAO part, but what is the I PMP? Actually - I think I just figgered it out . . . if the last P is "pants"
Posted by: Coleen with one "l" at September 10, 2007 11:53 AM
Susie,
Dick and Daniele may seem like they have had a very unfair advantage from the beginning because the beginning was so long agao. I don't agree. Daniele and Dick weren't even talking for most of the beginning of the game. I don't think they truly started working together until they were nominated together because they were ignored by the rest of the house (like everyone on the block was this season, i.e. that's why Jen and Kail were so close, always on the block together). However they are still there because no one was smart enough to get it done and they took advantage of it, can't blame the producers for that.
The producers have no idea how people are going to react once they get in that house. Every other rival pair could have used it to their advantage but didn't. I think Joe and Dustin would have done something similar if they had teamed up also. Jessica and Carol, I don't think so because that one was just riduculous.

i have thoroughly enjoyed this season of big brother..for the most part thanks to dick and daniele. this is a game...and usually the person who wins the game has done just that...win! daniele and dick between them have won more pov's and hoh's than all of the other hg's put together. well done dick and daniele. they deserve to be where they are and do deserve to be in the final 2.
as an aside to the cheating implications... we will never know if there was a secret code in vincent's letter to dick. dick has been so smart and canny on playing the game up to this point i just don't think he would be that stupid. cbs seems to have studied this situation (as they did the blue ball incident) and have decided no harm...no foul. people are going to believe what they want..but for every outcry against dick... why haven't i heard the same accusations against zach. didn't he in essence try to cheat by asking jameka for money..even a $1.00? and what about eric and jess ? didn't eric use the inside knowledge he recieved as ap to help jessica get further along in the game? of course..that is just my opinion.
i do want to say..thank you to cbs and all of the big brother communities. i have enjoyed blogging and reading all the comments. i will be watching next season and hope the cast is as colorful as this one has been. i hope dick wins...but if he doesn't...well..that is ok too. it is just a game...not life or death.

To all the D&D supporters, America got them this far. Our votes via Eric saved them the first time they were on the block. Yes they have had strategy since but obviously had one of them been voted out that week things would have been very different. If Dick had gone Dani would have no support and would have fallen apart long ago. If Dani, others would have won in her place and Dick would probably have been on the block more often.
A lot of people liked his so-called honesty in the start. How many of us have changed our minds?
Think it through one changed vote in the beginning changes everything,
HD - thanks for all you wonderful blogs. You certainly have made this much more interesting and yes stressful at times for me, this summer. You deserve a lot of support for the time and energy you have spent. If you do survivor I'll be there.

There I feel better now I voiced my opinion to CBS on ED's cheating. I do think it is only fair they punish ED for cheating and I think if we are all fans of the show we should all tell CBS what we think of their double standard on what they call cheating .At least Jen didn't go into the house planning to eat ED planned to cheat from the start and if they get enough e-mails maybe they will do the right thing and penalty vote ED.

HD, I will continue to read your blog for as long as you post. I made the mistake, though, of getting the 3 month superpass special this year. I should have only signed up for 1 month, because after 1 month, I had very little desire to watch them. There's a difference between talking behind someone's back, or having a legitimate argument about an issue, and sustained verbal abuse.
There are definitely things I like about Dick: he's funny, entertaining, and has political views similar to my own. However, his verbal abuse was serious. It was degrading to the person it was directed to, and it could cause serious psychological damage to the contestants it was directed to. It seemed to be designed to undermine their self esteem, especially in the case of Jen and Amber.
There are definitely things I like about Danielle: she's highly competitive, she's beautiful, and she's had to deal with a difficult situation. However, she seems to think that she's entitled to win, and doesn't seem to realize that the others have played a good game as well.
I've liked Zach all along. The only thing I don't like about Zach is that he doesn't really care what happens politically. However, I feel that way sometimes, myself. Zach seems to be to be a very nice guy, who has done a great job at playing this game.
All the players in the jury house, are people who I really didn't like for one reason or another. They all shunned Zach. In my opinion, that's one of the reasons most of them got evicted. Their treatment of Zach is what turned me off of them, so that I voted to save the Donatos, despite my personal disgust with Dick's abusive behavior. Without the America's player twist, Dick would not still be there. So I don't think that he played the game that well. It's just that some of us are night owls, and were afraid that if Dick went home, we'd have nothing to watch on the feeds.
The TV show seems to me to be very selectively edited, to make the viewers dislike the same people that the producers dislike, at that moment. For instance, watching the feeds, I did not get that impression of serious religious freak from Jameka. However, watching the show, I get the impression that that's all she's about. I think that if they had showed more of EDs tirade against Jen before the Iced Tea Incident, more viewers would have woke up to how nasty he really has been. Also, they show things out of sequence, and make it look like people are responding to one thing, while they're actually responding to another. Last night's episode was a prime example, when they showed ED and Dani in the bedroom being arrogant. That took place after the veto comp, which hasn't even been shown yet.
So, this season has been a bit of a turn off for me. However, HamsterDame, you have been the bright spot in all the madness. If it wasn't for your blog, I probably wouldn't have continued watching.
PS: Please blog Survivor.

I'm sticking with you HD, tho the game for me is over.
Amber's remarks were out rageous.( I don't know what Dustin said). But there were..are.. many anti-gay remarks everday. I'm not gay but have friends that are, and theses remarks hurt them as much as Amber's anti-semitic remarks hurt the Jewish people.
I hate bigotry from anyone against anyone.
As you know I'm a disappointed Jameka fan. It upsets me that apparently a Donato will come away with 500k. The excuse it's a game and they played it right makes me want to throw up.
I come from a generation that believe in Knute Rockney's theory. "It's not if you win or lose, but how you play the game."
Knute had a sucessful coaching career, and he didn't use tactics like back-stabbing, cheating, insults, threatening remarks, personal attacks and the list goes on.
I hated America Player from very start. I thought it was unfair to everyone, including Eric and the Donatos. Eric couldn't play his game (but 40k will soften his upset stomach). I will NOT vote for Eric's choice as to who will win. Tho I dislike Dick and Daniele so much, they're "playing", and some weasel is making extra bucks for stupid things like giving woobie to Jess, kissing her, voting out people that saved him from eviction, and the list goes on.
I would love to see the sequester house, but CBS made their beds and now the fans are paying for it. The bad publicity these HGs have received due to their bigot comments have forced CBS to hide these HGs from all press. CBS knows if they show the veto house, the press will find where they're hiding.
I don't understand why Zach doesn't have a vote today during the veto ceremony. It would be a tie and America could vote...But then again the Dick fans would flood the voting lines. Remember Dick knows all these rock stars and they have the power of money.
That's my thoughts...waiting to see the Dick and Daniele fans respond saying I'm a poor loser. They love to critize those that don't believe as they do. After all they've learned from the best..imtimidate others untill they are too afraid to respond. I am not afraid.
Keep up the good work HD

I am furious that CBS seems to be letting the coded letter slide.
When Jen cheated, she got a penalty vote. This is CLEARLY trying to cheat and gain an unfair advantage, and if ED doesn't get punished, it will just further prove how manipulated the show is and how much CBS really is trying to insure a Dick vs. Daniele Final 2. If he doesn't get a penalty vote, it is just embarrasing.
Anyways, I'm not "done" with the season, but I'm just over it. It's been a pathetic excuse for a season with the way it's been manipualted for the Donatos to win, and while I will still watch the episodes, I really am just waiting for the Finale.
The Finale will be fascinating to watch. The main thing I'm looking forward to is seeing Eric & Jessica again, and seeing the reaction to the news that Eric was America's Player. I really don't give a damn about anything else, though, if Zach is in the Final 2, I will definitely be hoping for him to win.
BB has always been one of my favorite shows, and it's just dissapointing how they've in a way, ruined the game this year. Did I like Boogie last year? Hell no, but at least he got there on his own. The Donatos have had so much help with America's Player & the way BB made sure people liked them.
I'll definitely be back to watch the BB feeds next year, but if it's more of the same and I'm worried that it will be, I may end up giving up on it.
In all honesty, the main reason that this season was entertaining & the feeds were fun was not because of the Donatos, or the Dick/Jen arguments(though, the Iced Tea & Ciggy Burning incidents were quite amusing), but it was because of watching REAL human interaction between people; namely Eric & Jessica, & watching them play the game & build a relationship. If not for that, I likely would have stopped watching the feeds a long time ago.
Next year, hopefully we have a better, more entertaining, nicer cast and a better, more fair game.

I wouldn't give up on Zach just yet. If the final HoH is endurance, I might put my money on the strongest, most determined "in-shape" person. I know, I know, sometimes size is factor.
D&D made it primarily due to CBS's twist, in my opinion. I think If Eric had been allowed, he would have focused on them much earlier in the season. America, however, kept the DoubleDick crew covered.
I'll be watching, and reading your thoughts HD.
Send us an e-mail if you do this for Survivor.
From HD - I don't send out mass emails. You'll have to come back to see what's going on. ;)

HD, do you think the viewers will get to cast eric's vote in the finale or will he get to decide ?
From HD - We decide who he votes for. Check out the AP page on CBS' site.

I was a big ED fan at first, but I'm so over D/D now. I would still rather see ED win than Dani (she won't even buy him a carton of cigs if she wins), but I think they should have America's Choice on Tuesday for a second vote. It was America who saved D/D in this game, and we should get a chance to give them the boot if we want to, especially since we all now know that Dick had a plan to cheat from the beginning. I agree with Dick that Zach played this game like an idiot in a lot of ways (most specifically not using his last veto on Dani when Dick could not even compete in HOH), but Dick announcing his cheating plans on air was the ultimate in stupidy, and should not be rewarded.
Posted by: Sheree at September 10, 2007 01:09 PM
It is pretty difficult to try to stick out the remainder of the season since CBS has so obviously predetermined who will be in the final two. It is better to get info here at this blog. The people here are far more interesting than those left on the show.

To clarify my post earlier.....I have a love hate thing for Dick. This game is based on lies & backstabbing along with other social no-no's. Most of Dicks game I do not have a problem with it. It's part of the game, what is not part of this game or I thought it wasnt was cheating. He tried to cheat & had he received that letter earlier it most certainly was giving him good info. The fact that it came too late to do any good should not matter. He cheated & shouldnt win on that alone, Jen cheated & was punished. Dick should have some sort of penalty for it also.
Posted by: Cathy at September 10, 2007 01:24 PM
I would just like to say that Dick's gameplay was very effective. I think that of the 4 people left, he played the best game. Zach only started playing two weeks ago, Jameka has kind of been just going with the flow, and although Daniele is smart and wins competitions, she wasn't the one who did all the hard work to put plans in motion (for the most part).
Even though the outcome of this season would've been completely different without America's player, it worked to Dick's advantage. He would've been gone the week that he was up, and i'm sure Daniele would've been close behind. With that being said, he was able to get into peoples heads before competitions, lower their moral and make them angry. That was his plan. Be straight foward and in your face. I think he crossed the line a few times with personal jabs, but to each their own.
The one thing that really bothers me is how D&D always say that people take things so personally, but when they don't win a competition or if they're in trouble one week, they bitch and whine about it. How can they be happy with themselves after taking out jess and eric, but then feeling completely betrayed that Zach is turning on them. YOU DID IT FIRST, suck it up, don't take it personally.
I think the best player this season was Eric because he was never able to make his own decisions. He was told who to vote for and he covered his ass well. But in the end, that's what got him sent home. He was able to twist everything around and convince other people to change their minds to go with what he wanted. I think he would've won if he wasn't America's player.
I also thought it was hilarious when Dick called Daniele "America's Sweetheart"... sorry, i don't think so. She's too whiny and spoiled to be that. Smart and pretty though.

Double Standard used for Asians.
T.V. show - chat rooms & news services ignore derogatory comments @ Asians but burn up the wires in outrage over anti-semantic slur of same type. Pathetic rant by Big Brother's Amber on "selfish, money-hungry Jews, w/ big noses" (sic) caused national outrage, but Big Brother's golden girl Dani's "Asian people are stingy though" as with Jameka's (the sole African American House Guest) "Eric has chinky eyes" (sic) has garnered no attention. Even more troubling is the lack of concern from posters & denial that the Asian comments compare in any way to Amber's comments. The handful of posters that have raised the issue in fact have been booed & accused of going overboard in "pc-edness". Ironically, one poster stated that compares in no way to Ambers vile comments.
Danis statements start at about 6.40 minutes in clip below:

Good comments muffy1
no sore loser comments here. Even though I want Dick or Daniele to make it to the end doesn't mean that I do not respect the opinions of those who hate them. Free country and all.
And it's very admirable what Knute Rockney stood for and it's what we teach kids to this day but that was college football. a sport. This is a game about money, it's a bit different in scope.
The people in the house will have to deal with the public about anything said and done in the house but that is the consequences they signed on for. Which makes me think you have to be a little nuts to subject youself to that which is why I watch and will never apply.
I think if we had a house of polite people that didn't say anything bad to each other or about each other there would be no Big Brother 9.
Ok I am done now. Everyone have a great day!!

Hmmm.... All y'all make sense, now that I think about it.
HD - who do we write/email (if there is anyone) to insist the cheater (Dick) be penalized...
Posted by: Anna at September 10, 2007 02:03 PM
We really don't that Dick cheated or whether he just pretended to cheat to add drama. For all we know CBS could have put him up to it. The message telling him not to trust Eric made no sense since Eric is/was America's player. That info was not helpful nor would it ever have been helpful. And I am NOT a Dick fan!!!!
I hope Zach ends up in the final 2 with Dick. I think he could beat Dick. At the point I know that D & D are the final 2, I'm done watching. So CBS, if you read this, please manipulate the competitions in a way that Zach ends up in the final 2.
If Zach wins HOH and brings Danielle to the final 2, he deserves to lose.
As for your questions HD, I'm just not interested about the racism, relationships, or AP reveal. Look at who the racist comments came from. A bunch of nobodys on a reality show.
I just don't want to see Dick win this game. I don't even mind if Danielle wins.
From HD - His son has confirmed that they had a code worked out.

Lest everyone forget there wouldn't even be a BB9 without D and little d. Still YUK, still go Zach! It would be hillarious if he won. Can't wait to see the look on D's face.

Ahhhhh But it will be you that is leaving us...I have noticed the postings are fewer it makes me sad. it has been a real comfort you being here again this year.
My thoughts on the seq house is this. Something somewhere Lady Hamster wrote was about the negitive remarks of dustin...who was out second or first to seq and cbs might think that giving them any more notice will be bad for cbs image. I think had the two or three involved in this scenario had been kicked out before seq we would have had some images.
As what the donatos are no diff then Bogi and will but they used the softer side..messing with the mind of Jenelle and of Erica. Dick and Dani just did the exact opposite of the emotional rainbow.
I wonder if yout listened to Janelle If Jen had made sexual move onto Dick .....Made him feel hot and bothered....would it have made a diff. Janelle kinda said you had to do that with dick for the kind of guy that he is. His ego needs to be stroked. If Janelle had not made the time of day for him....I wonder. I almost thought at times there was sexual frustration for Dick with Jen in the house.
Also did you see how Amber and Jamika used the pool box for thier prayers.....ANd was that NOT THE SAME BOX THAT BOOGER AND HOWIE USED FOR THIER OWN SPECIAL MOMENTS AS WELL???
So glad your here Hamsteress.

sorry HD the depressing turn of events just gets the better of us sometimes. i don't think AP will be revealed until after the vote since we get to cast Eric's vote for him. I think they are all in individual sequester & that's why there's no footage (even though I was suuuuper excited for it!) I hope Jessica can "forgive" Eric for being AP & not blame him too much for her eviction. Overall, this season has been interesting, I loved it & now I hate it. I never thought I'd say it but ... go Zach!

hi HD,
first of all i am NOT going to give up on this stupid game that i complain about all season but never miss a show! LOL
as for this site, i am sad after BB is over cause HD goes away :( i will say it once again hoping that you do survivor or TAR :)
i am looking forward to all the questions you have purposed. i think one of the most interesting events is how the press treats some of the HG's. they are not going to know what hit them. good luck i say!
i will be suprised if zach wins the final hoh, something tells me it will be the d & d show in the finale. i just cant wait to see how the jury reacts. and speaking of the jury, there is more to this squester house than meets the eye, i am quite sure of it.
Posted by: jude at September 10, 2007 02:24 PM
I was wondering about something. I heard Dani & Dick talking that they have been aligned with each other since about week 2. Do you think BB has a twist with them of which nobody is aware? There just weren't enough twists in this game this year; expect the unexpected would be pretending they are astranged from each other all this time they are really working with each other. Just a thought.
Posted by: ImagineThat at September 10, 2007 02:30 PM
Everybody seems so freaked out by Dick and the supposed coded letter - has anyone thought that maybe it's just a joke by Dick tweaking BB - and BB read the actual contents and verified that there was no message that matched the "code"?
Please - it's certainly nowhere near the impact of a damn plane dragging a banner around the Burbank restricted airspace...
Posted by: coHoser at September 10, 2007 02:38 PM
HD, First off This is the first season I've known about your blog and have read faithfully EVERY DAY. This site is Awesome...
Now, on to Dick and Danielle. I do not admire anything about how they played the game... Danielle did nothing but cry, and had her father make all her decisions... Dick won a couple comps... but did nothing substantial. Dick acted like a complete dick during most of it... and the only reason he is not gone is because Everyone had the idea, "If Dick is in final 2, no one will vote for him because of his actions". Thats why he is there... Danielle did win a few Veto's... She saved her ass to many times, thats why she is there.
Out of the 4 remaining, Zach deserves to win. Yeah, he may have laid low most of the game... but that was strategy... And he was able to pull it off. When it came down to winning or going home, He did that...
Jameka Screwed herself with the 5 HoH comps... That killed her game.. She has been at the mercy of the entire house.
So, I will be checking in with the site for the remainder of the season, and will be watching the CBS shows... I have canceled the feeds, and am no longer watching BBAD. I don't care to see D/D any more than the CBS shows.
And thats my take on it all.

Hey BJ and others -- I agree that the evictees are being kept from each other because of past and potential fireworks and CBS isn't taking any more chances. If they're anywhere I think they're close. What better way to keep them away from people and people away from them - than keep them on the lot somewhere OR in separate hotels around the city? 'Sequester' isn't sequester if they're all together hatching crazy theories and planning strategies for influencing each other fairly or unfairly - especially with this group.
Dick is planning his speech for the POV ceremony right now. What I'm interested in is the speech he or Danielle will give to the jury for why they 'deserve' to win BB8. Will they be humble or arrogant; cocky or apologetic; meek or 'in your face'? I can't wait for it and hope CBS shows as much actual footage as possible and doesn't leave the best parts on the cutting room floor.
Zack had my vote till he started working on Jameka. Now I'd like to see D&D go to the finals, but I have a feeling Zack will sneak through somehow due to the 3 part final that I don't think Dick is planning for.
This been a different BB than we're used to this year and Dick sure brought fireworks to the house. I don't approve of his methods, language,or attitude, but he paired up with Danielle and has played the best 'game' of all. Without Danielle winning the contests he would have never made it this far though, soooooo I don't know who I think deserves the win this year (neither would be in the final 3 if it weren't for the other person). I'll be happy with either Dick or Danielle winning. And I'll be glad to have BB over for another year. This summer of BB has been really draining - I don't know how the houseguests have made it! (
Posted by: sstephy at September 10, 2007 02:48 PM
I, like some of you, sent CBS an E-mail about Dick's coded letter and intent to cheat. I asked them to think about Jen's reaction when she finds out, since she took the time to read the rule book after her penalty was given out. Maybe there will be some legal problems down the line?
What do you think HD?
Imagine this scenario, just before the veto meeting, BB announces that Dick has a penalty vote for his letter. What a show that would be! The look on all their faces would be priceless.
Posted by: Mykat at September 10, 2007 02:51 PM
Enough about the coded or supposedly coded message. As if every one in the house didn't have the same thing worked out. They just didn't blab it.
Posted by: ben f at September 10, 2007 02:53 PM
gee..everyone is right...dick and daniele owe it all to eric. that's right...when they were both nominated for eviction who won pov and saved daniele? that's right...dick..(err..i meant eric!) when the hg's all combined to go after dick and daniele who won hoh and saved them. that's right...daniele. (sorry, i mean eric!) during the double elimination week and it was do or die for all of them..who came through for them and won hoh...you got folks..it was dick. (damn..i meant eric!) and when it was a last ditch effort and all hope seemed lost...when most of america seemed to have either dick or daniele's bags packed for them..what happened? you got it america..once again..to the rescue came daniele. (huh? i thought for sure eric did that one!) i'm not suggesting that dick and daniele didn't get a little help along the way from eric (being the ap) but there is no arguing the fact that when they absolutely had to dick and daniele came through with a win and saved their own behinds. the way i see it...dick and daniele didn't ride anyone's coat tails to get to the final 4...they played the game and won competitions to make it there. if anyone rode anyone's coat tails it's the other way around...eric getting as far in the game as he did is thanks to making an alliance w/dick and daniele. same goes for jess. zach sure the hell wouldn't be were he is if not for dick and daniele. and jameka...well..she would have left last thursday along w/jess except for that last minute negotiation w/dick. dick and daniele deserve to be in the finals and i hope that dick wins. but you know what? i kind of feel that dick has already won...maybe not the hearts of all america..but hopefully the love and affection of his daughter.

I am afraid that CBS is going to have a lot of post BB problems this year.
If Dick and Vincent set up a secret code to cheat and Dick received that letter, then Dick should be disqualified. It is just wrong for him to get info fromt he outside.
The racist comments that have been made by Dustin, Amber, Dani, and Zach have created a very bad image for BB. Added to that is the fact that Dick continues to repeat Zach's comment.
If the rumors are true that the evicted house guests are being housed in separate places, then that means that it could be true that Dustin found an America's Choice envelope.
The entire season is a mess. I have a feeling that the BB rules will be different next year, if there is a BB next year.
Posted by: Beau at September 10, 2007 03:16 PM
Dick's coded letter:
To play devil's advocate I'd like to throw out a question: Is it possible there was no code and Dick was just bs'ing Danielle and the cameras for entertainment purposes and playtime and made up the story about the first and last word's letters meaning something?
I believe Dick's first HOH letter was from Vincent and if they had a code planned why wasn't it included in the first letter also?
Again, just throwing out the question for the sake of arguement.
As always, BB is great summer entertainment. If the show didn't generate the controversy it wouldn't be a success and would have ended years ago. What 'twist' will they come up with next year? Past enemies forget their problems and join forces so that doesn't work......any other suggestions?
From HD - Again, Vincent confirmed it over at Survivor Sucks.
Posted by: sstephy at September 10, 2007 03:16 PM
What am I looking for in the finale? A Miracle. Like Dick gets thrown off the show, so that would be Zack, Dani and Jameka in the final three. Zack wins HOH and throws Dani out. Jameka and Zack in final two. What are the chances of that? Nil!!!! But, I really enjoyed your blog HD. Thank you.

I had not thought about writing to CBS! Good idea. They may not disqualify Dick but at least I was able to voice my opinion. I say send Dick packing and let Dani, Zach, and Jam play for the final two.
Posted by: Beau at September 10, 2007 03:59 PM
HD!!! Work your magic and talk to the people at CBS and make Dick pay for his cheating! If they did it to Jen, they should FOR SURE do it to Dick! That would be so amazing, to see the looks on the two most hypocritical players of the game. But rather than handle it gracefully as Jen did when she had a penalty against her, Dick would probably strangle someone. Something needs to be done, and it would be the best show ever for good to prevail over Evel!!!! We can hope, right?
Posted by: ev at September 10, 2007 04:04 PM
I totally agree with the poster who said that after the show, the HG's will not be surprised by much of anything they watch with Dick in it. (After all they lived with him 24/7 and already know his language and tirades) - but some of them WILL be hurt by the mean and uncalled for comments from their 'so called' friends in the house.
We all have different opinions and view what we see and hear differently, so there really is no point in trying to bring people around to our own point of view. It is what it is.
I now want Dick to win. I think he has played the best game.
I do not believe that Jameka had 'her game' ruined by not being able to compete. IMO not being able to compete is why she is in the final four. She posed no threat.
In no way do I want Zach to win. His ego is inflated at the moment and that's fine. He believes he is the master player. Well, so be it. Personally I think he is a tad delusional there.
As for the evicted HG's.They are right where they should be - in sequester.
Jessica allowed herself to be led by the nose by Eric, and he led her right out the door. She is a grown woman and should have put up the Donatos. She did not. Her fault, not Dick & Danie's.
Eric. Our wonderful AP player who seems to be getting so many kudos for having his hands tied during the game. Oh please. The man slandered Dick & Danie and Zach. He didn't just cuss about them or call them names - he slandered them. And to me that is disgusting. America's sweethearts, my foot.
I still believe that there was more to Jen's anger than just her annoyance with Dick. Maybe we will find out something after the show.
Dustin. Oh my, Dustin. What a snake in the grass. Maybe it would have been better with Joe. Another what-if.
Amber - I feel sorry for. She should not have been on the show. CBS were totally irresponsible for letting her appear. They must have known her history. She has a lot of problems mentally. (and thank you Jameka for feeding her the line about being on the cover of a magazine!!).
Yes, Dick has been a rude and obnoxious person a lot during the show. But so have most of the others in their own way.
GO DICK.

No way am I leaving now! I've watched BB all summer, the good and the bad, and I'll be glued till the end. If I could watch Boogie win last year, I can watch anything (although I still have the occasional nightmare).
So what am I looking for in the finale? The best I can hope for now is that it's Zach and only one of the Donatos and that Zach wins. Worse case scenario (two Donatos) will still be entertaining because I can't wait to see Daniele throw her father under the bus. Pretty is as pretty does, indeed! I am also looking forward to the reveal of the AP twist.
I don't think anyone's lives will be changed substantially. I hope Eric and Jessica continue to have a relationship, but I doubt it. I think Amber's racist comments are already forgotten by all but the most diehard BB fans. Carol and Jessica did not bury the hatchet, nor did Joe and Dustin. I don't think 3 months of being locked together in a house can repair the years of baggage that Daniele and Dick have between them. Nick, Mike, Kail, Jen, Jam, Zach will be the answers to obscure trivia questions that only BB fans might know. One person will walk away with the money -- that might be enough to change their life, but it depends on who wins.

Love this blog :] It's fabulous, HD.
D&D haven't played a good game. They'd be gone right now if it weren't for America's actions via America. It makes me sad to know that Americans condone this kind of behavior and support it in such a way as prolonging it further.
Last season was hilarious and entertaining too, but was it full of verbal abuse? No. We had Will and Boogie, chatting on pretend phones in the diary room and the usual BB8 antics like manipulating and breaking deals. People who make me laugh are much more entertaining than people who make me gasp... I've never been a Donato fan.
I actually really like Zach now. He's played a good game and made deals at opportune moments. I hope he pulls out the HOH.

I have finally had enough and have to speak up! I also was offended by the racist comments by Amber and Dustin. But what I found even more offensive was the non-stop barrage of filth from ED. The names I have heard him call women were extremely horrible. Why do some people that want to vilify Amber and Dustin not also look at the bigotry that continuously falls from ED's nasty mouth? Why do his horrendous comments not earn the same outrage? It seems to say there is no limit to the abuse you can hammer down on women, as long as they aren't Jewish or Black. Personally I find ED's summer-long hate feast more offensive because he has so many fans that don't hold him to the same standard they expected to see from Amber and Dustin.
Ok, retiring from my BB8 soapbox.

What is the email address you use to send to cbs about Dick's cheating? I definitely want him to get a penalty vote. He planned on cheating.
Posted by: goddess at September 10, 2007 04:29 PM
Jen was given a penalty vote for eating. Everyone heard Dick reveal the "secret code" in his letter from his son. right???? Did anyone notice that from the beginning Dani was concerned about the HG finding out she was only 20 and not 21? Doesn't it say in the rules that you must be 21 at the time of application? Isn't this a violation of the rules? Why was this over looked? ........ or did I just imagine this?

don't worry, i am not going anywhere... feeds and showtime are so boring...for that matter so are the regular shows during the week. i still check in with you daily. you are always so efficient and funny, how can anyone not.? let me answer your questions if i can...
the racist issues...shame on all of them! family and friends must be horrified and ashamed (i hope)
americas player revealed... can't wait to see the look on all their faces when this happens. it will be like looking at a light bulb going off above each of their heads...also, i hope cbs/bb NEVER and i mean NEVER does an AP again...did i say never? never again. it was so stupid. i was one of the few (apparently in the feeds from what i could gather) who was voting for eric and attempted to root him on, dragging jess along for the final two. sheesh...never again please!
sequester????... yeah, whats up with that? i guess the gossip is the hg ran into bad weather and jenn has been trying to escape. they have amber under raps so she isn't shot for her racist comments (has anyone checked on her racist family?). honestly, i don't know and i don't really care at this point. sorry.
eric and jessica...is it true love or a showmance?...well, during their time in the house it appeared to me that jess might be using eric at times. that "dead fish" stiffness in bed with him was kinda questionable. after awhile i just decided that she was inexperienced (kansas girl) and camera shy (mom and dad and whole state of kansas watching...duh!!) i figure, no way could anyone, no matter how good a faker, could snuggle and kiss eric (aka, weasel boy/sockboy) night after night if she weren't gaga for him. you know what? i know many people in my chat room were sickened by them hanging on each other 24/7 but i thought it was adorable. i defended myself and e/j many, many times in chat rooms. "i am a romantic i guess." hardly anyone saw it my way..no matter. also, eric and jessica kept that place hopping night after night during show 2. their enthusiasm for each other was refreshing to watch and it made me giggle a lot. (ok, sometimes it got to be too much smooshing, but still who wouldn't sound like that with two mics stuck up your nose?) lastly on e/j...i am really concerned that the press and jess' fellow kansas folk/friends are going to talk her out of being with eric. some of erics early morning...bathroom ventures and sock puppet fun... is not going to be good press for him. once again, i tried to defend eric in chat rooms saying it was "perfectly normal" but even that got hard for me after awhile. DUDE, 50 plus cameras are bound to catch something!!! have some self control!! sheesh.
i hope they stay together because it was obvious they cared for one another when she left.
finale...UGH! i don't even want to think about the final two. my worst fear is of course d/d. i think i can swallow dick winning because he seemed to really bend over backwards for his whining evel spawn of a brat kid but if she wins i will go well...ballistic. the thought of giving her 500,000 dollars...wow. i am sure you know how i feel so i won't drag on any longer. i guess that leaves zach. wow. what is with this guy? i don't know whether to feel sorry for him or just beat the crap out of him. i have decided he really is just a socially inept man boy who has parents and friends who either don't have the heart to tell him or are just as bad (scary thought!). he has slid by all this time when no one knew he was in the room. game? maybe, maybe not. so what. he is in final 3 and that is all that counts. if dick or dani deserve to be in it with their actions and horrendous behavior, why not dopey invisible zach. GO ZACH!!
sorry this is so long..but you asked a lot of questions. thank you for a great season of info and fun

First off, I have just been lurking all season and reading, and I want to say THANKS! HD for the great outlet.
Now...you ppl are cracking me up. Just the past couple of days there has been such a "I am going to take my ball and go home!" attitude. I do think it stinks that Eric and Jessica are gone because I actually liked the idea of DDEJ, but as for them being the entire entertainment value of the show? There are only so many sad drinking games and smooching sessions I can watch. It doesn't matter who would we be down to at this point, it would not be that entertaining. And it could be so much worse. We could have ended up with a Zach, Kail, Dustin & Amber finish *shudder*
Regardless of whether you love him or hate him, ED is what he claims to be. He never pretended otherwise, and BB/CBS knew exactly what they were getting. I have never liked Dani from the first tears and "it's not fair" she spewed, but I have loved ED from the beginning and there have still been times I have cringed. But ED stayed ED. He didn't suddenly find Jesus when it was beneficial to him, he didn't pretend to be someone he wasn't. He may not be one of the "good" ones, but at least he wasn't fake. And I would rather watch ED spit that watch Dustin sniff his own body parts again, or Amber wear yet another pair of funky saggy gray sweats around, or watch Eric or Zach mining for nose gold.
Sure they all forget it's a game when it is not going in their favor, which is why Jessica sat around and pouted for an entire week when Zach put her up instead of continuing to play the game. If she had stayed with it, D&D may not have jumped ship. I expect them to be pouty when nominated and hypocritical when making deals and judgemental when looking at others. And we would all do exactly the same thing if we were in their place. I am a fairly upstanding person but let me tell ya, for $500,000 I would think of some reasons why Mother Teresa doesn't deserve the money.
On that note, I'm done with the live feeds at this point just because they are boring. At this point best case scenario for entertainment would have been Dick, Jen, Amber, and Dustin (or maybe Eric cause he was just twitchy). But even then it might have gotten old. Zach waited too long to play the game and he has forgotten that D&D were the only ones that would give him the time of day. Even Nick who Z professes complete loyalty to would barely give him the time of day. Jameka just doesn't deserve to be there, if for nothing but the magic ping pong ball. Dani physically makes my head hurt, but that girl has played her non-existant heinie off. But c'mon, how can you know love a man in his 40's who plays such a mean air guitar?
So you can all be mad and leave and promise to never watch again, but you know you are just as bad as Amber and Eric LIARS!

Not going anywhere. Although I don't post as regularly as many folks, your site is checked repeatedly on a daily basis during BB season. I found it last year and then, as well as this year it has been a great source of information for me.
I've been a BB fan since the beginning, getting into many discussions with family and friends about the unique situation of this program. It's always been a amazing test of the human nature in my perception.
BUT, this year, Dick, for me has ruined it. His vulgar attitude with the other house guests, at times, has actually made me sick. I am not watching the live feeds any longer and did not watch the show on TV last night. Trust me when I tell you this is a first for me. I just cannot take D&D any longer.
I, as many others have stated, believe Dick should be given a penality vote for his admission of cheating via the letter. While I realize that most likely, many houseguests through the years have attempted the same BUT Dick is arrogant enough to have verbalized it on the feeds and to the producers. For that, he should be penalized.
I don't have a clue what will happen in the next few shows, I will definetly watch them because I'm rooting for Zac to be in the finale two and be the winner. I know, it's personal for me, but I just can't stand the thoughts of Dick or Danielle winning this game.
UGH.
Like many others, I'm hoping you'll do a survior page. I'm REALLY looking forward to Survivor. A girl from my town is on this year........YIPPPEEEE!!!!!! Don't know her but it's going to be nice to feel connected in rooting for someone.
THanks for all your work, it is much appreciated!!!

I find it interesting that Dick has a coded letter from his son Vince.
When Daniele received her letter from Nick I was VERY surprised. Has a houseguest EVER received a letter from someone who has been evicted before?
My first thought was since they were the king and queen of "secret coded messages" to each other anyway...did Nick fill his note with codes with information gathered after being evicted from the house and getting to watch the feeds and read the blogs.
I thought at the time this would be a great idea if he could pull it off.

I'm with BB8 and HamsterDame to the end. Anxious to see reaction of other's to Eric's being America's Choice and what happened in sequester.

I can't wait to see the finale. The feeds and AD are SOOOOO boring now - nothing but people in separate rooms eating or staring at the walls then coming together long enough for a few Eric-bashing sessions a day. Once they find out most of his hinky behavior can be explained by his being AP I think several of the HGs will owe him a HUGE apology...I wonder if he'll even get one.
I think they owe Jess an apology too. Several of the HGs - Dick, Daniele, Amber and Jameka (who has for the last few days been trash-talking Eric like she thinks it's her job) have, among others, been absolutely relentless with trying to make Jess doubt him, even to the point of bringing her to tears. That's bad enough, but there's also the implication that Jess just wasn't smart enough to figure out what was obvious to them.
In addition to an apology I think Eric should get a great big THANK YOU from Dick and Daniele. If he wasn't AP and was free to vote as he pleased it would have been a very different game and both Donatos would be drinking margaritas by the sea in Cabo. When Dustin and Dick were nominated, Eric would have voted Dick out were the choice his - 1 Donato gone. And the next week when Amber and Zach were nominated and Eric won POV he would have taken Amber off the block, Jess would have put Daniele up, and she would have been evicted - 2 Donatos gone.
Surprisingly, I think if anyone gives Eric an honest apology, it would be Dick - I just think he'd be the one to find out about AP, be shocked a moment, then laugh like hell and say, "Hey, man, sorry I was such an asshole". But who knows. Guess I'll just have to wait until the 18th like everyone else.

AN ODE TO DICK:
Dick is a prick
Who makes hamsters feel sick
Insulting and yelling
(Though he can be slick)
From Amber to Dustin to Kail, Jen and Jess
He likes all the Houseguests to way overstress
To lie in their beds all day, not getting dressed
(Not to mention to make them ol'-fashioned depressed!)
Though Dick is brave
(even obnoxiously so)
The game's almost over
and he's GOT TO GO!
Posted by: rhymeintime at September 10, 2007 06:20 PM
I know it was confirmed by Vincent that the coded letter was indeed planned but the way I read it in his blog in Survivor Sucks is that:
1~ He wrote a first draft letter that didn't pass,
because of suspicion.
2~ He (ED) didn't even get the code right!
3~ Thought his dad "Had a big mouth and couldn't
keep his mouth shut"
And I believe this letter was written quite a while back and now that those 'People to watch your back on' are gone, CBS let it go through knowing there was something fishy in it and maybe even prodded Dick into revealing it to camera and Danni just to stir the pot. Since the letter came after the fact of them being gone, there is no cheating in place.
Come on people you can't possibly think they are the first people to think of trying this but as Vince said "He can't his mouth shut!"
As far as the sequester house goes I really feel gyped not getting to see the happenings, I did read about (and I think Janie mentioned) something about Jen TRYING to pack her bags and leaving and that is why they don't show us anything.
I think all of us that have paid for Live Feeds should be rewarded with the tapes in full on here
of the sequester house after the show is over!
How about writing CBS about that? Rather than write about ED the ruthless/entertaining and
cunning/best game player on BB8. The finals are proving his game plan is working, like it (game play) or him or not.
Am I obviously hoping for Dick to win? Hell yes!
His has been the ugliest, most interesting to hate at times and love at other times. He has shown the BB World what it takes to make it through these grueling months to the end, just like Boogie last year...who I despised but give him Kudo's for a game well played!
Posted by: Mamma B at September 10, 2007 06:56 PM
Even more interesting to me than anything else concerning BB8 is seeing how D&D's relationship will continue after the cameras stop rolling. If Dick wins the money, I wonder if Dani will suddenly be much more open to communication with her estranged (sugar) daddy. If she wins, I wonder if he will ever see her face again except on the morning show and future seasons.
Interesting how money is thicker than blood in some situations, yes?

Just like to say to psychodrew that I too am offended with Dick's seemingly receiving absolution with using the antigay slurs in reference to Dustin, Joe, et al. Its baffling that his fan base will actually provide excuses for his remarks, or label them as game play, but then hold Amber, Jameka,Kail and Zach to a much different standard of morality. Everyone has jumped in Jameka's shit for her use of profanity..well, I have news for the world: Christians curse. What Amber referenced re: Jews, as narrowminded as it sounded, is how people with minimal cultural experiences think. Kail's ambivalance to her stereotypical thinking is more commonplace than any would care to acknowledge. Zach's comment to Eric does not hold up as racist in my opinion...it's simply a comment, nothing foul intended ( I am mad at him for even apologizing for it) And Dick's behavior in the real world is REAL. One of the issues I have with particpating in online discussions is that people only live at extremes, and fail to discover the balances in ideologies so that we as a society can grow beyond the stereotypes, hatred and judgement. When BB8 is over, we still have hope....

Sorry rhmeintime I couldn't resist...LOVED YOUR POEM BUT HERE I GO!!!>>>
Dick can be a prick
Who can make people tick
Insulting and yelling
His timing always telling
Like putty in his hands
They cease to his commands
Kneeling like heathens
Always claiming, "They will get even"
Be it Amber, Dustin, Jen, Eric or Kail
They all crumbled without fail.
They chose to all hibernate and sit on their bums
Instead of delagate and send him on the run.
Yes Dick is brave
(even obnoxiously so)
The game's almost over...
YOU GO DICK GO!

First off HD YOU ROCK! Love your blog.
I can't wait so see all their faces when America's Player is revealed. It will be priceless I'm sure.
I'm sad cuz I think it will be the end of Jessica and Eric but oh well they were playing for $500,000 so you do whatca gotta do sink or swim.
This is almost like voting for president sometimes the lessor of two evils. Well I hate to say but I'm going for Zach. I just didn't care for Dick's personal attacks and Dani is a pathetic whinner and such a bad sport. I could not believe she threw down the chalkboard after she lost to Zach in the last HOH comp. How sad and what a poor sport.
I would love to see Zach sitting next to Dick in final 2 but if Zach wins he will probably take Dani cuz he don't want to be alone in the house for several days with Dick. Sad but true. Zach if you make it to final 2 grow a pair and take Dick I think you will beat him hands down.
Can't wait to see the finale and see how it turns out with the votes. It should be interesting.
Oh yes, one final note. I think Dick should get a penalty vote for the coded letter. Can you say cheater. I don't care if it didn't affect anything at this late date cuz he sure could have and if he son has confirmed it was in code that is just wrong. If he were to receive a penalty vote it would be 1/1 and Zach would have to break the tie and send Dick packing. How cool would that be. Way cool for me. CBS is favoring the Donatos in this years BB and that is just not fair. The winner of last seasons fast forward didn't get an HOH basket that I can remember and noone has ever been allowed to take the CD player out of the HOH room and no one has recieved cigs in their HOH basket. I think Nakimos got a smokers patch or something but not cigs. So tell me that the producers are not favoring Dick and Dani. I wouldn't believe you but you can still tell me.
Posted by: ksgirl at September 10, 2007 10:49 PM
OMG...I don't know why it didn't occur to me until just now...I can totally see a new reality show coming starring the Donatos. Yeah, Dick's a dick and Daniele's a snob, but they are both like a roadside accident...you can't help but stare! But can't you just see it now...Dick and his Hollywood rocker glam life with his rocker friends and the whole Hollywood club scene, Daniele and her uber-cute Hooters friends, their whole love/hate relationship, they'll bring Vincent in who'll play both sides, and I can only imagine the current/former Dick groupies and what kind of entertainment they'll provide. Not to mention Daniele's love triangle with Nick and the boyfriend back home. It so screams "make another lame reality show out of me!" Got to be better than Rock of Love!!! (Sorry Brett!)
PS-I don't think they are showing sequester because no one is there. I think they're all being kept separately, and will bring them together to a faux-sequester house to show the one clip that has been mentioned will be shown at some point.

Go to cbs.com scroll down to the bottom and click on feedback if you agree with Dick getting a penalty vote tell cbs let your voice be heard its time fair play was brought back to the game atleast a little bit of it its only right after the way they penalized Jen ,she at least didn't plan to eat months in advance .

to Bj,
Eddie from season 1 was not revolting..
And he also won the game..
Also:
Amber was not trying to offend anyone, she was just stating what a family member told her.. As for Rob and Amber, And Boogie they should all get their own reality show together on a deserted island with no communication to the out side world.
As for almost everyone talking about Dick,
I think he does have a lot of health problems
sinus,and I believe thyroid..
That's why he is always spitting, and he is a very nerous person..
Well please don't hate me. It's just my opinion..

Hi HD have you been on cbs message boards today they are saying that "its official Dick to get penelty" have you heard this or is this just rumor thanks your site is awesome and so are you your so informative on BB thanks for all your hard work this season.
From HD - It's rumor.
Posted by: Trish at September 11, 2007 11:55 AM
eekoms3 - I don't think Amber was trying to offend anyone either, just not (apparently) for the same reasons as you. I think Amber is a completely ignorant person who just never considered that someone might be offended by making vile comments against Jews, like she just naturally assumes that everyone hates Jews. And, by the way, the comments were made in a general way, like it was just what she was taught by her equally ignorant mother and sister, but it came up because she was trying to figure out why she didn't feel like she could trust Eric...."Do you think it's 'cause he's Jewish?"
And secondly, it's Eric that has sinus and thyroid problems, not Dick. Dick is just a disgusting slob when it comes to personal habits.

Thanks HD I was hoping it would be true it would be awesome to see the look on both D&D 'S faces they would be so P*SSED if it happened . I wouls also like to see how Dani would take the news and if it would affect her game .
