Almost That Time

Is it really almost over? It seems as though it were just yesterday that we were watching the first Big Brother episode of this season 8. Remember Dick, Jessica, and Dustin upstairs in the HOH room waiting to meet their fellow hamsters including their 'enemies'? Remember when the feeds were turned on and how crazy it was trying to figure out who was who? For us Big Brother fans, it was the start of oursummer.

Tonight at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT the hour-long live finale will begin and at the end of the show our summer of 2007 will officially be over. It's been quite a crazy summer for us all. If by chance you want to relive your summer, you can do so again! The feeds will begin replaying at the end of tonight's show. You remember Carol don't you?

I won't be liveblogging the finale tonight (it has nothing to do with who the final two are) but I'll have a post up about it not long after the show has ended. I hope all of you try to enjoy the show tonight. If you're not sure whether you'll watch or not, come on. You have to. Don't you want to see their reaction to Eric being America's Player? I know you can do it. If not for me, do it for the Chenbot.

Things are still being tweaked over there so expect some changes in the coming week but go ahead and poke around and make yourself feel at home. Hopefully, I'll be covering some of the other reality shows you'll be watching. Please come over and tell me 'Hi'!

Hi, I've never posted before, but have enjoyed reading your blog this summer. I have been a BB fan since the beginning, I have never understood why I am, but I am! I don't watch the feeds, but traverse the .NET to get more info on the show as the days go by. Thus, how I found your blog. I am looking forward to the show tonight - I'm fairly certain Dick will win but you never know - and can't wait to see the reaction to America's Player. This season was interesting and disturbing on many levels. I started off feeling for Dick then slowly becoming disturbed by him in many ways. Like or dislike some of the people in the house, he managed to dehumanize Jen in a way I hope I never see again. I was never a big fan of hers either (personally I was a fan of Eric's primarily) but I am amazed at how she was treated as if she had no right to even exist. I remember seeing some type of documentary or something on an expirement being done in a room where people with blue eyes were seperated from people with green eyes, etc, etc. At first it seemed silly to those in the room, but as they went with the expirement, you saw some really bad behavior on people's part. That was what I saw in Dick, and it didn't say much for us as a people unfortunately. I hope that's the exception and not the rule! Wow, for a first post, I sure rambled! Anyway, thanks for the post, I look forward to seeing some of the aftermath this season and on to BB9 next year!
