Eric & Jessica Feed 1 Chat

Hey everybody! Hope all of you are doing well after your first official weekend BB-free.

If y'all are interested in hearing from Eric and Jessica, fire up Feed 1 this Wednesday evening at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT! I wonder what they have to say. Hmmmm.

ETA Tuesday, 9/25 - The chat will be on FEED 1 and not feed 4 as they all have been previously. I changed the title of this post to reflect the change.

Finally

It's about damned time.

A real interview with Amber!

They also have a couple of good interviews with Jameka and Zach.

Before I forget, many of you have emailed me asking me to add a link here on Silly Hamsters to Silly Reality so I took care of that for ya. Check the blogroll over there on the right.

So, what are your thoughts on their interviews - especially Amber's?

ETA at 2:10 PM - Check out this interview with Dick and Daniele. Nice to read another 'real' interview. You can just 'hear' Dick's feathers getting ruffled and Dani's high-pitched whiney voice. Thanks Ed!

ETA Sept 23rd - BuddyTV has a 'must read' interview with Amber up. Go read it now!

Where Are The Interviews?

Grrr. I want to read interviews with Amber, Eric, and Jessica! Where are they at? I hope CBS isn't still keeping them under wraps or are they? Hmmmm.

Watching Dick and Daniele on House Calls right now is really making me nauseous. Did any of you watch Gretchen's hardcore interviews with Daniele and Dick? LOL

For those of you still hanging around, I'll post links to articles not primarily focused on Dick and Daniele as I find them. If you still have the feeds, there will be another chat/interview on Feed 4 tonight at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT. You can find out more info here.

Is anybody else kinda discouraged about the lack of interviews with anybody but Dick or Daniele since the show ended last night?

And The Winner Of Big Brother 8 Is

All I can say is Wow. What a crazy finale and an overall great show tonight!

I always get sad when I watch the last show of the season because it means I have to wait so long for the next season to start. Next season can't happen soon enough for me! I think I need medication. LOL

The Chenbot looked great tonight, as always, except for that weird looking necklace she had on. Stylist? Fired!

After the recaps, the show began with footage from the sequester house and Zach joining them. Eric told Zach that he would have won 6-1 if Zach had been in the final two. I would have loved that. It was great too when Dustin told them all then that it was between Evel or his Evel Spawn. Fantastic!

Eric got his final AP task and that was to campaign (and vote) for Dick to win. Eric got to work on bringing up how much Dick had done to make it to the final two but there was one person in particular that kept saying she would never vote for Dick. Any guesses? That's right. It was Jen!

Next came the jury questioning. Same old same old as it's been every single season. The Amber question to Daniele had to do with why she should vote for her considering what she'd done concerning her boyfriend back home and Nick in the house. Other than that, the best questions were from Eric and Zach. Eric asked Dick to say something good about everybody instead of something bad and Zach asked the same thing of Daniele.

When the jury was brought in to the studio all of them looked fantastic except for Jen and Amber. Amber looked like she was about 8 months along and Jen had on another one of her stupid tube top tops. Jessica and Zach looked extraordinarily fantabulous. To Zach? If you're out there - purrrr. Awwwwkwwwarrrddd!

Time for the jury to cast their votes. They got one final chance to say something to the Donatos. Eric says it was a clear cut choice for him. Jessica voted for the person she enjoyed the most in the house. Jameka voted for the person that gained her respect. Dustin said his vote was strategic. Jen said she'd rather vote for anybody but them but has to vote for one of them. Amber said she was voting based on gameplay. Zach said something about being in the house the longest with them and then I began falling asleep. Sorry Zachypoo!

After commercial, Vincent (Dick's son and Daniele's brother) and Charlotte (Dick's mother and Daniele's grandmother) joined Julie up on stage for a couple of questions about Dick and Daniele being the final two in the house. Very touching. *grabs Visine*

Julie welcomes the first five hamsters evicted from the house and they're asked about how they felt about watching things in the house since they've been evicted. And then.... It's time.... For the big reveal.... America's Player....

Julie tells the jury members that somebody has not been who they said they were and that for the first time ever a twist has gone uncovered by the houseguests. What time is it? It's time for video footage!

Footage of Eric doing the crazy tasks and voting etc are being shown and everybody's laughing more than I thought they would be. Dick and Daniele (still in the house) look shocked while watching the video along with everybody else. Eric looked really worried during this whole segment and it was kinda cute to watch. You could tell he was more concerned with what Jessica was going to say. But everybody took it really well considering. I loved it when Julie told Dick that it had been America that kept him in the house over Dustin that week. Dick (surprisingly) actually said that he thought he'd made some big power move in the house but it was funny that things happened because of this. Trust me. This America's Player segment is one to watch over and over and over. It was done perfectly!

Time to reveal the votes -

Eric (voting for America) - Dick to win
Jameka - Daniele to win
Dustin - Dick to win
Jen - Daniele to win
tied 2-2
Zach - Dick to win
Amber - Dick to win

It's official! Dick wins Big Brother 8!!!

Dick and Daniele hug each other and then walk out the front door and down the catwalk to meet everybody else. Dick immediately hugs Vincent and Daniele immediately hugs Nick. I never saw whatshisface there did you? Hmmm. All hell kept breaking loose with everybody hugging and congratulating each other and then we went to commercial.

When we came back from commercial, Julie revealed that Jessica's vote had been for Dick to win so Dick won 5-2.

It was interesting when Julie asked Dick and Daniele what they were going to do now. Dick told Julie he's going to take a trip and will be going 'round the world. Daniele said it didn't matter because they both won. Hmmm. That had to have been one of the best lines all night long.

Julie ends Big Brother 8 telling us that Dick and Daniele will both be on 'The Early Show' tomorrow morning. Show's over. But you could hear Daniele asking Julie about the upcoming schedule and when the wrap party was going to be. Julie told Daniele (hard to hear because of the music and cheering) that the wrap party was going to be on Thursday and that tomorrow she'd be on 'The Early Show'.

I just had to laugh at that. Daniele was more concerned with all of that and not concerned about anything else (makes me wonder why she ran off when Julie was trying to find her before the last commercial break).

Your thoughts on the finale? What was your favorite part? How well do you think they did the America's Player segment? Are you going to watch the replay of the live feeds? How did you do on your guesses concerning how I asked you the way you thought the votes were going to go yesterday? (I was only off by one vote!) You ready for the fall season shows to start up? Are you ready for Silly Reality?

Almost That Time

Is it really almost over? It seems as though it were just yesterday that we were watching the first Big Brother episode of this season 8. Remember Dick, Jessica, and Dustin upstairs in the HOH room waiting to meet their fellow hamsters including their 'enemies'? Remember when the feeds were turned on and how crazy it was trying to figure out who was who? For us Big Brother fans, it was the start of oursummer.

Tonight at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT the hour-long live finale will begin and at the end of the show our summer of 2007 will officially be over. It's been quite a crazy summer for us all. If by chance you want to relive your summer, you can do so again! The feeds will begin replaying at the end of tonight's show. You remember Carol don't you?

I won't be liveblogging the finale tonight (it has nothing to do with who the final two are) but I'll have a post up about it not long after the show has ended. I hope all of you try to enjoy the show tonight. If you're not sure whether you'll watch or not, come on. You have to. Don't you want to see their reaction to Eric being America's Player? I know you can do it. If not for me, do it for the Chenbot.

As some of you read last night, my reality blog is up and running. It's called Silly Reality. You can get to it by clicking on that link or you can click here, here, and even here. hehe

Things are still being tweaked over there so expect some changes in the coming week but go ahead and poke around and make yourself feel at home. The 'official' links to the shows I have up over there are going to be some of the shows I'll be blogging about so if you're not a fan of Survivor or aren't going to watch Kid Nation it's OK. Hopefully, I'll be covering some of the other reality shows you'll be watching. Please come over and tell me 'Hi'!

Be sure to check out some of the 'News, Gossip & Boards' sites I have up over there. It will help you get completely caught up and ready for the fall season starting this week and perhaps you'll even find a message board or two to hang your hat in.

But enough about Silly Reality, are you ready for the finale tonight?

Who Will Vote For Who?

I wonder how all of you think the jury will vote between Dick and Daniele. Do your guesses match mine or do you think I'm way off? Post who you think will vote for who in the comments and let's compare!

Jessica - Dick
Eric (AP) - Dick
Jameka - Daniele
Zach - Dick

How Would You Choose The Winner? Part 2

Yesterday, I broke down Dick and Daniele's competition wins throughout this season and some important aspects of their gameplay in the house. Why? I wondered how I and all of you would vote to determine the winner of Big Brother 8 based on gameplay. By the time I'd finished writing I'd determined that my vote based on gameplay would go to Dick quit handily. While many of you agreed with me, those of you who chose Daniele seemed to do so primarily because she won more competitions than her father. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Today in Part 2, I'd like us to take a look at Dick and Daniele's behavior, their attitudes, their chi, their spirit, and their personalities in general throughout the season. Imagine you're a juror and you have to vote for one of the Donatos to win the big moolah. Like yesterday, I'm going to ask that you make a decision as to who you would vote for on this alone.

Before I really begin, let me just say that this is a hard post to write. I don't have a dog in this fight. I don't particularly care for either Dick or Daniele so looking at things yesterday in an objective manner wasn't that difficult. The competitions they won and how it affected their respective weeks were a given. I needed to write them down though so that I would be forced to take a long hard look at what they'd really done instead of letting just my emotions get in the way. Reading through your comments on that post I realized that many of you were unable to evaluate, or had a very hard time evaluating, their gameplay as well. Today should be much easier for y'all.

Dick oh Dick. Where should I begin with him? I may as well start a with good personality trait. He cares for his daughter very much and at least that much came through very early on. How many times did we see him crying in the backyard due to his daughter shutting him out when he tried to talk to her? While it seems he never was or never will be 'Father of the Year' material at least he was trying with her. He also didn't just give up or throw in the towel when it came to communicating with her on a personal level - but that might be because he was stuck in the house with her. Who knows if any of their personal talks would have happened outside the house but at least he tried in the house. Daniele didn't.

Dick could also be a very likable guy when he wanted to. He was fairly good at just chillin' with most of his fellow houseguests, swapping life stories, and joining in with activities. While sometimes he overshared (not as much as Amber usually thank goodness) and came across as a know-it-all, what would you expect? He's a 44-year-old man and has more to share largely due to his being on this planet longer than the others in the house. More living means more stories so to all of you young twentysomethings out there, remember that when you're Dick's age and suddenly find yourself telling all of your stories to your children's friends etc.

Now let's be serious. Dick was a dick when he wanted to be and that was a lot of the time. I understand that certain moments of his dickness were game-related but many weren't. There was no need for him to pour tea over Jen's head. Daniele was the one arguing with Jen and Daniele seemed to have been holding her own just fine. She didn't need any help from her daddy.

Dick was (what's the term) rude, crude, and socially unacceptable. I'm no prude at all and I have no problem with some down and dirty gameplay, but was it really necessary for him to be so nasty when he went off on people? Kail, Jen, Dustin, Amber, Eric, Zach? While it was exciting for some (myself included) to watch such a different kind of hamster on the feeds at first this season, it quickly got old. Very old. And let me tell you something, if he'd have poured a glass of anything over my head like he did Jen's, I wouldn't have stood there and taken it as well as she did. And I can guarandamntee you that I'd be pouring crap over his head right back. But the houseguests basically accepted his behavior and never really called him out on it so that's their fault.

His constant spitting, burping, and farting was just over the top and disgusting. However, at least he did most of the laundry and was one of the top cleaners in the house.

Let's switch over now to Daniele's good qualities in the house. Give me a second. I'm still thinking. Well, I don't know if this would count but she did seem to care about how her dad was feeling after the first part of that three-part HOH competition. But that wore off rather quickly when she felt he was being needy. Imagine that. Pot meet kettle.

This really does come across as rude but I can't honestly think of anything good about Daniele. But wait - you don't understaaaannnnnnd. Can you remember any moments when she was caring or happy or loving in that house for longer than five minutes at a time? Well I guess Nick would count for that one. But besides that? Wait. She did play some beer pong towards the end so I guess that could count for something. She also washed dishes sometimes and made dinner a couple of times. Whoopee.

But come on. She was pissy at both birthday parties - Jameka's and her own. She was constantly pissy with her father. She was outright pissy to many of her fellow houseguests and made it known to all that she felt she was better than everybody else. Things were always soooo haaarrrddd and unfaaaaiiiirrrr.

Basically when it comes down to things, I can definitely tell you one thing. If I never see Dick or Daniele, after Big Brother is over, it will have been too soon. I can't stand either one of them. I wouldn't want to give a vote to either one of them either because of their behavior in the house. But if I'm on the jury, I have to.

I guess I'd have to give my vote to Dick (as much as I dislike it). If Dick does wind up winning Big Brother 8, I hope that he doesn't throw any of the money towards Daniele's way. She'll have $50,000 of her own to put herself through college or tech school. I hope he leaves the country and moves permanently to Ireland so that America is rid of him. Ooooh I have an idea! Daniele likes Disney, Disney has a resort in Paris, perhaps Daniele would leave America too. *crosses fingers*

So who would you vote for between Dick and Daniele based on attitude?

ETA - Program note for tonight. I'm not going to recap the recap show. LOL

How Would You Choose The Winner? Part 1

We have Dick and Daniele. One of them is going to win $500,000 and the other will walk away with $50,000. How would you choose the winner?

I'm going to write about two ways that the decision could be made. In Part 1, I'll go over the competitions that Dick and Daniele won, their ultimate results, and other important gameplay moments that resulted in them staying in the house. In Part 2 (tomorrow), I'll go over Dick and Daniele's attitude and behavior in the house both towards each other and towards their fellow hamsters. At the end of this post, I'm going to ask kindly that you pick who your vote would go to when it comes to gameplay only.

Let's look at how they fared in competitions. Overall, Daniele won HOH two times and she won the POV five times. Dick won HOH three times and he won the POV once.

When Dick won his his first HOH competition it was Week 3 and he nominated Kail and Jen. That week, he let Jen win the POV and replaced her with Mike up on the block and Mike was evicted by a vote of 7-2. Mike wasn't even a real threat to him at the time. He just got pissed about Mike's collusion with Kail in trying to get his glass on his hat to fall so he removed the glass himself and let Jen win.

Dick won his second HOH competition in Week 10. He nominated Jameka and Eric, Zach won the POV, chose not to use it, and Eric went home. Remember that this happened during the Fast Forward live episode. Also remember it was during this time that Zach was still working with Dick and Daniele so when Zach won POV and didn't use it, it was the final nail in Eric's coffin.

Dick won his final, and the most important HOH, just two days ago. Of course, he chose to evict Zach over his daughter and sent Zach packing leaving himself and his daughter as the final two. Dick fought hard to beat Zach in part 1 of the HOH competition and lost, part 2 between himself and Daniele was moot, and he came through when it mattered the most by winning the final part of the HOH competition.

Dick won his only POV in week 6. It was one of the two most important POV competitions either him or his daughter won (the other won by his daughter in week 2). In this week 6 though, Jessica was the HOH and had nominated himself and Daniele. Dick won the POV and used it on his daughter which left him up on the block. Jessica replaced Daniele with Dustin and Dustin was evicted becoming the first member of the jury. Dustin's over-inflated ego caused Jessica to put him up on the block while Dick spun his magic (if you wanna call it that) on Jessica and Eric creating a foursome between him and his daughter and Jessica and Eric. The votes came down this week 4-2 with Eric (America) voting to evict Dustin and Jen voting to evict Dustin as well. Dustin was shocked as all get out when he was evicted. We all remember that moment don't we?

Daniele won her first HOH (the first endurance challenge plus banner) in the very scandalous week 5. Besides the banner during the HOH endurance competition, Daniele promised Kail she wouldn't go home this week causing Kail to give up and let Daniele win believing she'd be safe. This was also the week of the bunny or rather bunny suits and Jameka giving up the chance to compete in 5 HOH competitions. This was the week that Dick went off on Eric for the hinky vote causing Nick to go home the previous week. Daniele nominated Kail and Jen for eviction and Jen won the POV competition by ultimately choosing to give up a possible $250,000 of her winnings. Jen used the POV on herself, Daniele put Eric up in her place, and Kail was evicted by a vote of 4-3. Oh, and this was also the week that Amber's anti-semite remarks made national news.

Daniele won her second and final HOH in week 7 (yet another scandalous week) and nominated Amber and Jameka. Daniele won POV (her third to that point) and used it on Amber because Amber had promised everything under the moon, including her daughter again, if Daniele would just keep her safe. Daniele replaced Amber on the block with Jen. Later that evening after Daniele and Amber had left to be on 'Power of 10', all hell broke lose. Jen destroyed Dick's cigarettes and then broke her 30-day food restriction because she was pissed that Big Brother replaced Dick's cigs. Big Brother then, for the first time ever, issued a penalty nomination to Jen for the following week if she were to stay. Then the hamsters began their talk of evicting Jameka since they could easily get rid of Jen the next week. Then, almost as quickly as Big Brother gave Jen the penalty nomination, they rescinded it and instead gave her a penalty vote for this current week. Jen was evicted by a vote of 6-0 - 5 votes by the hamsters and 1 vote by Big Brother.

I'm not going to go over all five of Daniele's POV victories in detail but let's go over how they were used and what happened as a result.

Daniele won her first POV in week 1 when Amber and Carol were on the block. She chose not to use it and Carol went home. Daniele won her second POV the following week when Jen as HOH had nominated herself and her father - the first of three times they would be on the block together. Daniele used the POV on herself, Jen replaced her with Joe, and Joe was evicted by a vote of 9-1 with Kail being the only person voting to evict Dick instead of Joe.

Daniele won her third POV in week 7 when she won HOH (covered above) for her second and final time. She had nominated Amber and Jameka but replaced Amber with Jen and Jen went home by a vote of 6-0 with the assistance of Big Brother's penalty vote. Daniele won her fourth POV in week 9 when Zach was the HOH and Jessica and Jameka were on the block. Daniele did not use the POV and Jessica was the first hamster evicted in the Fast Forward live show by a vote of 2-1.

Daniele won her fifth and final POV last Saturday during Zach's second reign as HOH with herself and her father up on the block. In a live show POV ceremony earlier this week, she returned the favor and used the POV on her father (it wouldn't have mattered who she used it on). Jameka, being the only one left to put up on the block, was then evicted by Dick since he was the only one who could cast a vote for eviction.

While Daniele won three more competitions than her father I don't feel she played the game as well as he did. My opinion when it comes down to gameplay is that her father definitely swung more people around to their side when it was necessary than she ever did.

She pretty much isolated herself in the house for the first month by canoodling with Nick leaving her father to plant alliance seeds and grow them. Even after Nick was evicted in week 4, her father continued to keep the attention off of Daniele with his own antics (which I'll cover in-depth tomorrow).

His ability to convince people to align with him (and his daughter) for temporary and more long-term alliances combined with his key competition wins trumps all of her competition wins by themselves because of her complete inability to form relationships (real or fake) with her fellow hamsters other than Nick.

My vote would go to Dick over Daniele when it comes to gameplay.

Tomorrow I'll write in-depth about Dick and Daniele's attitudes and behavior in the house both with each other and all of the other houseguests and how it might affect their possible votes.

Your thoughts on their gameplay? Who would your gameplay vote go to - Dick or Daniele?

Friday Thoughts

I really wish all of you could have been crammed into my home last night as we watched the show together. I wish even more that all of you could have watched me as I approved your comments last night!

I actually do read every single comment before I approve them and even though I was upset at the outcome last night, I couldn't help but laugh my ass off. It was so much fun and I love all of you.

I love how passionate you are about Big Brother. I'm passionate about Big Brother myself so I really love interacting with all of you even though we don't always agree on things or on who we're cheering for. Silly Hamsters would be a very boring blog if all of us liked the same hamster don't ya think?

But back to my reactions (yes it's all about me ya know) reading your comments last night. Even though I couldn't stand that Dick and Daniele were the final two, I enjoyed so much reading everything that all of you wrote. I had so many moments last night when I told myself, 'Did they really just type that?' or 'I totally agree!' or 'That is hilarious!'.

Many of you are happy and for that I'm happy. I believe favoritism was indeed shown towards D/D this season and I hope that the same thing doesn't happen next season. I would like a more pure game. I don't want to see any twists. I want to see strangers. I want BB to let things play out instead of playing to viewer's favorites. I definitely believe this season had more of a producer's hand on the outcome than any before it. I didn't like that. Regardless of what some of you may think, I really am a Big Brother purist. I really do prefer less interference with the game. However, I also want to see BB give real consequences to hamsters not doing what they're supposed to. Wake up when they tell you to. Change your batteries when they tell you. Talk about your diary rooms? Hand out some punishment. I definitely don't want to see slop again. Bring back the PB&J please! And let those of us who actually subscribe to the feeds watch food competitions again.

How will I be voting? We still have time to vote BTW. I thought about this last night and this morning. I've decided I'm not going to vote. It won't matter when it comes down to it but I don't want to contribute my votes to either Dick or Daniele to win $500,000. The Dick and Daniele fans will figure that out amongst themselves. Don't forget though that Dick won a plasma TV and Daniele won a new boyfriend. Don't know how long the TV or boyfriend will last but I'll be glad to take bets. LOL

Will I have the feeds on watching Dick and Daniele continuously bash, gloat, and whine until Tuesday? Absolutely not. Honestly, I'd rather watch Boogie and Erica make out for 96 hours straight. I'd rather watch training sessions on how to use kitchen appliances. I'd rather watch commercials for depilatory creams. I'd rather somebody pull my fingernails out one by one and feed them to me with fava beans and chianti on the side. I'd rather, well let's just say there's a lot of things I'd rather do than watch Dick and Daniele any longer.

To those of you who can't stand Dick and/or Daniele, let us remember that the jury members (and even those not in the jury) had their chance to get rid of Dick and/or Daniele several times this season. Each time they either flaked and got sidetracked with idiocy or they let Dick get inside their heads. And that is good gameplay by Dick whether we want to admit it or not. Plain and simple.

But again, congrats to all of the Dick and Daniele fans out there. I remember what it was like for my favorite to win Big Brother so I understand and know what you're feeling. I just truly hope that next season doesn't include houseguests whose behavior escalates beyond the actions shown by Dick this season. I really don't want to watch a 'free for all' in Big Brother 9. But then again, perhaps one of the males or even females would have the bollocks to actually stand up to that person next season unlike the wussy little hamsters (except Jen) of BB8.

I wonder how many of us will be on the same side of the fence next season? Ya just never know. You might not have been able to stand some of my posts this season or rolled your eyes constantly at me but next year we may be in total agreement. And to those who agreed with me this season you just may find yourself having the vapors next season. That's one of the very interesting things about this show and I love it.

We fans make this show. There's no other show on television like this and there probably never will be. I just hope that more of you watch the feeds next season. Anybody who watches the feeds will tell you that it's a completely different experience than solely watching the show. It's a whole new world. Now can I get an 'Amen' from you feeders?

How Do You Feel Right Now?

So how do you feel right now knowing that Dick and Daniele are the final two hamsters in Big Brother 8?

I know many are happy. Many are pissed. Where do you fall? Personally, I'm sick to my stomach.

Tell us how you feel. Just let it go. Let them fingers do the typing! Type away! sad.gif

Liveblogging - Thursday, September 13th, 2007

-:35 - Tonight is the night that we'll find out who our final two are. Who will win the final HOH tonight? Dick or Zach? Who will be going home? Who will be the two hamsters left standing at the end of the night with a chance at $500,000? Will it be Dick and Daniele? Will it be Dick and Zach? Will it be Zach and Daniele? We'll know in just a little bit. Chat is always open and waiting for you! Let's all try to have some fun tonight shall we?

:00 - Previously on Big Brother....

:02 - Quite a plunging neckline there Julie! Oh yeah, hi to you too. By the end of this hour, the most powerful HOH will be crowned. But first, we have to watch the end of the first part of the HOH competition.

:03 - Footage from 1st round on Tuesday night during the show with Julie telling them the rules.

:03 - Competition starts now. Dick in DR says the goal was for them (D/D) to win this first part. Dani in DR said that going into this competition if it had anything to do with cold water she'd be doomed. Rain starts in the competition. Dani in DR said it felt like melted snow falling on her and says she's freezing.

:04 - After 1 hour, they're all still up there. Dani shivering. Oooh. Mud bombs and some kind of exploding smoke. Elapsed time is now two hours. All still up there. Dani really shivering and Dick tells Dani to try to relax her body.

:06 - 2 hours and 20 minutes elapsed. Dani points to Dick to start going off on Zach. Dick starts his trashtalking and Zach isn't responding to him or paying attention. Dani giggles at it while shivering.

:07 - 2 hours and 47 minutes. Dick still going off on Zach. Dani really shivering and crying now. Says she's so cold. They show how the bunny is slowing down and finally gets to Daniele. Daniele is off her carrot. Dick yells that it's OK and Dani runs inside crying after grabbing what looks to be three towels. Daniele gets in shower and is crying the entire time.

:08 - Back to Dick and Zach. Zach starts laughing and pointing at Dick. Dick says he isn't leaving and to keep it on all night. Zach starts copying and making fun of Dick. Dick just looks at Zach like WTF?

09 - 4 hours and 30 minutes. Dick and Zach still up there. Daniele is back there telling her dad he's doing great and that she's got it. Vincent is watching him right now and he's extremely proud of him.

:10 - 5 hours. Daniele tells Dick that he's come this far and is doing amazing. Daniele tells Dick she loves him. 5 hours and 30 minutes. Dick tells Zach good job honestly and that this isn't easy.

:11 - 7 hours. Dick looking at Dani and basically telling her he can't go on. Dani in DR says that it sucked watching him up there so cold and hardly able to move his legs. Dick is leaning over and having a hard time standing up. Dani tells him to hang in there. Zach in the background is still going strong. Dani tells Dick that he's waited for three years for this and to go out like Kail? No.

:12 - Dick's having a very hard time now. Dani tells him that whatever happens is OK. She keeps saying it's OK. He wants to hang on but is having a very hard time. At 7 hours and 32 minutes, Dick gets off his carrot. Zach wins round 1 of the HOH competition.

:13 - Dick sits down and is trying to gather himself. Zach goes over to him and tells him 'good job'. Dani in DR says it would have been nice to sweep Zach out of the competition but she's extremely proud of him and that it's OK. Dick sitting on couch in BY and is crying like a llittle baby and smoking a cigarette. He's hobbling off to go back inside the house. Having a hard time walking.

:15 - Dick now in his bedroom and on his bed wrapped up. Dick in DR says that he didn't just let himself down but his daughter too. Dani and Dick in round room and she hugs him and tells him she loves him too. Dani reminds him of round 2 and it's OK. Zach kinda listening at the door. Zach in DR says he treats him like a drill sergeant. That he's trying to break him and all it does is build you up. He says he's managed to break Dick. (BB is certainly portraying Dick in a positive light tonight - hardly showed any of his going off on Zach and much more of his 'suffering' after the competition.)

:16 - Julie tells us we'll be finding out who wins the final HOH in the upcoming live part 3 of the competition and see who is evicted live. Commercial.

:19 - Hey Julie! Reminds us how Zach won first part of HOH competition. Now father and daughter compete in round 2. Daniele in DR says in DR that she doesn't think either one of them would be stronger in round 3 so they had decided to both give it a go.

:20 - Round 2 of HOH competition is called 'Chain of Command'. Two tanks. In tank are pieces of a puzzle. Must collect the pieces and then take them to the second tank and assemble the pieces in the correct order. The one who does it in the quickest amount of time wins and advances to round 3.

:21 - Daniele begins but she's having problems. She's having to hold her nose when she goes underwater.

:22 - Here comes Dick with a cigarette in his mouth. He begins. He's grabbing puzzles pieces and taking them over to the other tank. Dick in DR says that neither of them (D/D) had planned on throwing it. Dick isn't having much of a problem with this competition.

:24 - Zach revealing Dick and Daniele's time in the BY. Daniele's time is 24 mins and 9 seconds. Dick's time is 12 mins and 48 seconds. Dick has won the second part of the HOH competition. Zach in DR says it doesn't really matter to him which one he goes against in final competition. He's already beat him in the physical and wants to take him down in the mental part.

:25 - D/D in little bedroom. He's telling him it will be OK. Dick in DR says 'it all comes down to this'. They're going to have their fairytale ending.

:25 - Julie tells Dick and Zach congrats for winning their competitions. Daniele says that 10 weeks ago she never thought she'd have these compassionate feelings for her father but coming in here still doesn't change a lot of the things that have happened outside of the house but it's a stepping stone. Dick says that Dani giving him permission to step down from the carrot didn't really matter - his legs were just going out but she was the reason he stayed up so long. Zach said he was able to tune Dick out during the 1st part of the competition because his whole body was numb and so was his brain so he didn't hear what he had to say.

:27 - Last part of the HOH competition plays out live. Have Jessica and Eric continued their romance at the jury house? We'll find out when we return. Commercial.

:30 - We're back. When Jameka entered the jury house, the jury members discovered both Donatos were still in the house. How did they react? Jessica and Eric flirting by the pool. Jess asks when he's coming to Kansas and he says he hopes real soon. Dustin & Amber talking about J/E. Amber says they're in love.

:31 - Jameka arrives to Dustin saying he hopes Dick or Daniele arrives next. Dustin is pissed that Jameka is the one that comes next. Eric says it's no surprise to him. Dustin says that now that Jameka's here, it will be him and Amber and Jameka hanging out. Says the walls are thin in the jury house and basically they know what's going on between J/E.

:32 - They all toast Jameka in the kitchen. Now watching HOH ceremony footage and Zach's speech. They're all giving props to Zach. Dustin says Dick's losing it (about Dick's reaction during the ceremony).

:33 - When we return, will Zach or Dick become the final HOH? Who will be the final two? Stay with us. Commercial.

:36 - Welcome back. In just a few moments, the final round of the HOH competition will play out live. The winner will have to evict somebody on the spot.

:37 - Zach and Dick sitting on either side of a divider in front of Julie's screen. Daniele is sitting at the kitchen table listening (can't see).

:37 - Julie will read the beginnings of statements made by each of the 6 members of the BB jury while they were at the jury. For each, she will give them two choices of possible endings. The answer will be either A or B. They have to decide how the juror finished the question. For each correct answer, they'll get a point. The houseguest with the most points at the end of 6 questions will become the final HOH.

:39 - 1 - Amber said 'the moment that irritated me the most in the house was A when Jen cried about her picture or B being handcuffed to Kail. Dick chooses A. Zach chooses B. Amber said it was when Jen cried. Dick has one point.

:39 - 2 - Jen said the strongest competitor in the house was A Daniele or B myself. Zach decides A and so does Dick. Jen says her strongest competitor was herself. Both wrong.

:40 - 3 - Jameka said the fatal error she made in the house was A saving Jen with the veto or B not looking out for herself earlier. Both choose B. Jameka says it was not looking out for herself earlier. Both right. Dick in the lead with 2 points.

:40 - 4 - Dustin said the most shocking moment in the house was when A I was evicted or B Amber went off on Eric. Both choose A. Dustin said shocking moment was when Amber went off on Eric. Both wrong.

:41 - 5 - Eric said the funniest moment in the house this summer was A when Jameka told Dick that his momma was a bitch or B when Jen said I will now perform eating. Dick asks Julie to repeat. Both choose A. Eric siad it was A. Both correct. Dick with 3 points and Zach with 2.

:42 - 6 - Jessica said the person whose gameplay I respected most was A my own or B Eric's. Both choose B. Jessica says it was her own. Both wrong. But Dick is the final HOH.

:43 - Daniele erupts into screams of jubilation. Dick and Daniele run and hug each other. He hugs her and is yelling 'We won!!!' "Yes, yes yes!" Dick punches the divider. Zach congratulates him. Dick is still yelling they won. Dick's yelling, "We won! We won everything!" Commercial.

:45 - JC welcomes us back. Time for Dick to evict as the final HOH. Zach says that he doesn't expect Dick to use this. He lost to the best. Hopefully when they win all this cash in the long run they'll remember his inventions. Daniele says who would have thought they'd have worked so well together. Says she doesn't think she'd be there without him and would be honored to sit next to him in the final two.

:46 - Dick stands votes to evict Zach. Dick tells Zach he's out. Dick yells at Dani that it's official they won. Zach says he doesn't agree with their methods but they're there. Zach walks off to leave. D/D and don't follow him to front door. Daniele says, 'Bye Rogre'. Dick and Daniele celebrating in the kitchen. Dick dancing around like a crazy man.

:47 - Zach hugs Julie and has a seat. Dick and Daniele still celebrating in the kitchen. He's screaming that it doesn't even matter who wins now. Dani asks how he got the Jen question wrong. Blah blah blah.

:48 - JC asks Zach what some of his biggest game moves were. He says when the alliance fell apart in week 2 he had to lay low and when Nick left the house he knew he could get closer with Daniele and lay low but knew that after Nick left he could get more interactive with people. When that didn't happen, he knew he had to rely on himself. JC asks him about early in the game how he was buddies with D/D. and how he really feels. Zach says he went up against the best players in the game - Daniele won 7 things and he won 3. Dick's tactics were horrible and humiliated many players in the game but they didn't work against him but his tactics worked against others. He thinks they're both good people but outside of the house he thinks they can all be good friends eventually and who knows what the future holds.

:50 - JC asks him about his HOH last week and breaking his alliance and how POV is the only thing that mattered so why did he choose to make waves then. He says he never really aligned with D/D and there was nothing official. Knew that he didn't know if he had possible votes on the jury. Wanted to give Jameka her chance and buy a vote or win a vote in the end game giving him a chance at 4.

:52 - Dani tells Zach that it's been a roller coaster summer for them - hating him then liking him and then who knows. Things he said in the last week that hurt her feelings but it's a game and she's not taking it personal. It's all game. Dick tells Zach that he put up a helluva fight. Dick tells him as far as being master strategizer he'll see how far off base he really was. Says he did a great job though.

:53 - Zach said he didn't expect that kind of response from him and kinda gives him little tears. Nice to know they're both game players and it's nothing personal. JC tells him he'll be back on Tuesday from the jury house. Back to inside with Dick making fun of somebody. Commercial.

:55 - Julie tells us about Eric on the jury but still working for us as America's Player. Who do we want him to CAMPAIGN to WIN? Text to 81818 - 1 for Daniele to win or Dick to win. Also can vote online HERE for free. Votes accepted until 11:00 PM Eastern/8:00 PM Pacific Saturday September 15th.

:57 - On Sunday at 8:00 PM Easter/7:00 Central, Dick and Daniele share their thoughts on what has been one of the most emotionally volatile summers ever in the BB house. Season finale then on Tuesday, September 18th, at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT. Plus they'll reunite with the first five evictees. Then it will be time to reveal to the houseguests the big twist of BB8 that none of them figured out (AP player). Reminder of After Dark.

:58 - Dick and Daniele making fun of the 'line in the sand' comment. Dick says they're the best team ever in the history of Big Brother. Best team ever to have played the game.

:59 - I'm going to go puke now. Show's over.

Dick Wins Round 2

Yup! Dick won round 2. Just round 2. No car. No trips. No cash. No gift certificate to his favorite tattoo shop. Just round 2.

Other than finding that out, the most exciting thing that happened on the feeds was the Howie and Kaysar chat on Feed 4 last night. I wasn't looking forward to watching Howie so much before it started but it turned out to be really enjoyable. Howie and Kaysar played off each other really well and I wound up really enjoying watching them together. I was definitely glad to see Fun Howie show up and not Mean Howie.

I'll be liveblogging the show tonight so join everybody in chat during the show and dish the dirt as we find out who the last HOH will be and watch the final live eviction of the season.

Did you watch the Howie/Kaysar chat last night? If so, how did you like it? Do you think Dick or Zach will be the final HOH? Who do you want to be the final HOH between the two? Anybody out there other than me anxious about the show tonight?

Still Waiting

We're still in a holding pattern waiting for the second part of the three-part HOH competition tonight. I have no idea what specific time it will be held and the hamsters don't seem to know either. I'll update later, if my head hasn't exploded yet from exhaustion, on who won.

Meanwhile, don't forget about the chat on Feed 4 with Howie and Kaysar coming up in about 35 minutes. It'll definitely be more exciting than watching Daniele mess with her fingernails, Zach staring into outer space, or Dick hacking. hehe

Zach Wins Round 1

Well folks, after 7 1/2 hours holding onto a key in the rain Zach outlasted Dick to win round 1 of the three-part HOH competition.

Dick couldn't take it any more and had to bow out. Immediately after letting go of the key, he went and sat down while Daniele grabbed a blanket for him. Zach went over to Dick to help out also and to make sure Dick was OK. Dick began crying, lit a cigarette, and cried some more while Daniele tried to comfort him and tell him it's OK. She said they have round 2 and that it will be alright.

Dick and Zach are now trying to warm up. Daniele made both of them some hot tea. Dick told Zach 'good job'. Zach told Daniele 'thank you' for the tea. Zach's changing now into some warmer clothes and Dick's in the round room with his robe on - wait - he's changing now as well and putting on some warm clothes.

Big Brother just told them that the next round of the HOH competition will be tomorrow (probably meaning today).

I have to give Dick and Zach props for lasting as long as they did. Great job by both of them. I'd have a lot more respect for Dick if he hadn't acted like such a Dick to Zach earlier in the HOH competition though.

Where's your trash-talking self now Dick?

Congratulations Zach! I knew the sexiest bunny could do it!laughing.gif

ETA - Don't forget about the Real Networks chat with Howie and Kaysar on Feed 4 tonight at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 CT.

The Bunny Hop

The first part of the final HOH competition is taking place. The winner of the first round advances to the the third round. The winner of the second round advances to the third round. The winner of the third round becomes the final HOH this season and will determine who goes home next.

Dick, Daniele, and Zach are standing on 'carrots' (stumps) and have to hold on to their key above them. At least one hand must remain in contact with the key at all times. There is this little white rabbit on a pole they have to jump over that will try to knock them off their feet. They must dodge the rabbit by jumping over him each time he runs past them. If they let go of their key, fall from their carrot, or stop the rabbit from moving forward they're out of the game. Last person left standing automatically advances. And now it's raining down on them keeping the garden lush. LMAO

Zach has a hat on which helps when it comes to the rain because it's not streaming down his face unlike Dick and Daniele.

I wonder how long this competition will last. I hope it lasts at least long enough for the Showtime folks to see part of a competition this season. It will last only as long as Zach is in the game. So I'm going to guess 2 hours and 15 minutes. What are your guesses as to how long this competition lasts? Who are you pulling for?

I'll update this post as the competition advances.

ETA at 7:14 PM - Feeds have been on trivia since the show ended. I have no idea what's going on with the comp right now.

ETA at 7:32 PM - Feeds still on trivia and we haven't seen a darned thing. HamsterDame getting anxious.

ETA at 7:34 PM - Feeds are on. Daniele and Zach are still in it. Haven't seen Dick yet.

ETA at 7:35 PM - Dick is still in the competition.

ETA at 7:53 PM - All three are still in it to win it. None of them seem to be having any problems yet. Daniele is shivering but beyond that, they're all fine.

ETA at 8:09 PM - All of them are still in.

Bunny Hop setup

ETA at 8:25 PM - They're all still hoppin'

Evel Dick

ETA at 8:45 PM - All three are still in it. Daniele's been crying like a little baby Whamber though. Just went to trivia!

ETA at 8:46 PM - Back from trivia and all is the same. I take that back. Dick and Daniele have mud on them and the bunny is moving faster now. :)

ETA at 8:59 PM - Dick begins his foul trash talking and BB goes to trivia. Go eff yourself Dick.

ETA at 9:01 PM - Dani is shivering a lot so now Dick is trash talking Zach - calling him names and etc. Of course, Daniele is recovering enough to laugh at what her father is doing.

ETA at 9:06 PM - Dick continues calling Zach a panty muncher, racist, mother fu**er, pu**y, etc and just conveniently in time for Big Brother After Dark on Showtime. Imagine that. You don't think BB came over the loudspeaker and told them it was BBAD time do you?

ETA at 9:22 PM - Dick is still going on with his tirade against Zach. All three are still on their carrots. Amazingly, even Showtime couldn't stand Dick's talk and went to commercial early.

ETA at 9:40 PM - Daniele fell off!!!! Hahahahahaha.

ETA at 9:43 PM - Daniele's off crying now. And Dick has shut up for the most part. You know Zach has to feel good about Daniele missing her jump.

ETA at 9:59 PM - The feeds have been on and off while Daniele has collected herself (bawled her eyes out) and changed clothes. The bunny stopped moving. Dick continued taunting Zach. Zach began taunting Dick back. Feeds on FOTH at the moment.

ETA at 10:04 PM - Feeds back on while Dick's going off on Zach. Daniele's sitting out there watching them and Dick tells her she killed the rabbit. The rabbit isn't going round anymore.

ETA at 10:07 PM - Showtime is back on but the feeds aren't. Daniele's inside making something in the microwave and laughing. Wait, she just went and put on lip gloss. Now she's back in the kitchen. The feeds are still off. Perhaps BB is fixing the bunny?

ETA at 10:16 PM - Here is the YouTube of Daniele falling off her carrot (Courtesy of xx2000xx). Feeds are still on FOTH. Daniele's still munching on Showtime.

ETA at 10:22 PM - Showtime is back from commercial. Daniele is looking at the memory wall. The feeds are on FOTH.

ETA at 10:28 pm - Big Brother tells Daniele she can go back outside after she asks. The shades raise up from the patio door and she goes outside. Daniele says to them, 'So you just have to stand there?'. Dick said yes but that BB told them they can only hold the key with one hand now. I guess BB was trying to fix the bunny that Daniele stepped on and broke but weren't able to.

ETA at 10:32 PM - Daniele just said, "Sorry I broke your game Mika(sp)."

ETA at 10:44 PM - We've been on FOTH for almost 10 minutes now. Showtime is on SR.

ETA at 10:50 PM - Feeds are still on FOTH and Showtime is still on SR. Conspiracy theorists speak up.

ETA at 11:05 PM - Showtime is back on and now the feeds are too. Competition still going on. Dick and Zach are both running in place it seems. Well off and on running place. Perhaps this is in place of jumping over the bunny?

ETA at 11:08 PM - It definitely seems they have to at least keep their feet moving. Not necessarily running in place but just keep them moving.

ETA at 11:10 PM - Or perhaps they don't have to keep their feet moving. Dick's just standing there. Zach's kinda jogging in place. I wish Big Brother or somebody would tell us what the hell they're having to do now.

ETA at 11:22 PM - Dick and Zach are still in it. Dick's shaking visibly. Zach is still calm and collected. Daniele's just sitting outside wrapped in a blanket and watching not saying a word.

ETA at 11:37 PM - Dick and Zach are still competing.

ETA at 12:00 AM - It's still going on.

ETA at 12:13 AM - Been over five hours and Dick and Zach are still hanging tough.

ETA at 12:31 AM - Almost six hours now.

ETA at 12:59 AM - Dick's about to go down. Doesn't look like he'll hold out for much longer. Been over six hours now and Zach's still looking strong.

ETA at 1:18 AM - Come on Big Brother. Give them more than this. I want to see hail! I want to see lightning bolts flash from the heavens! I want to see something other than this. But I guess it doesn't really matter as long as Zach wins! :)

ETA at 1:27 AM - FOTH

ETA at 1:29 AM - Feeds back on and both are still there. Daniele is still sitting in the backyard watching them.

ETA at 1:50 AM - Dick and Zach are still holding on to their keys. Zach's still going strong. Dick? Not so much.

ETA at 2:07 AM - Same old same old.

ETA at 2:17 AM - Dani goes outside to encourage Dick but he can barely talk. He's really wanting to throw in the towel but she tells him he can keep on and that it's obvious Zach's in a lot of pain (Zach's not).

ETA at 2:24 AM - Dick let go finally!!! Zach is the winner of the first round of the HOH competition! biggrin.gif

Liveblogging - Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

-:65 - My stomach's churning right now and I'm not even in the mood to watch the show tonight because of Dick's attitude towards Zach about 30 minutes ago on the feeds. Strategy my ass. He's just a dick. So anyway, jump into chat during the show tonight and/or after the show to discuss the endurance competition that will be going on as part 1 of the final HOH competition gets underway. Hopefully it will last longer than a few minutes this time! LOL

:00 - Previously on....

:02 - JC is dressed up in business formal. Wow. 74 days ago an estranged father/daughter would be reunited as a air in final 4. Zach shocked his former allies by putting them up for eviction. All comes down to POV competition. As HOH, Zach can not vote. They'll decide live who gets to go home tonight. How did Dick respond to Zach's betrayal by putting him up?

:03 - Footage from HOH ceremony. Dick in DR talking about how Zach said that Jameka restored his faith in God and that all of it was to get on her good side and makes him sick. Back to footage of Zach's HOH speech. Meeting adjourned.

:05 - Dani in DR says that Zach lied to them and is upset that Zach went back on his word. Dick says in DR that Zach's last statement was crap and that both of them have been a target since week 1. D/D in kitchen talking about how Zach is liar and making fun of how Zach said that Jameka changed his faith in God. Zach in DR says he has to win POV.

:06 - Zach and Dick talking in kitchen in front of Dani about the nominations and upcoming POV and final jury votes. Dick says that Zach won't have a single vote. Zach says he might have a shot. Jameka in bathroom thanks him for not putting him up. Jameka in DR says that it was a great idea putting both of them up.

:07 - Back to Dick trash-talking in kitchen to Zach. Dick says that Zach has skated in and isn't all that worried about it. Zach tells Dick jokingly that he's the mastermind. Dick in DR says that he'd better be on his game tomorrow. Zach in DR makes fun of Dick and says that he'd really love Dick to go down in flames.

:08 - Julie says we're going to actually check in with the houseguests in the jury house and find out how life has been. Commercial.

:12 - We're back. Time for jury house. Jury house footage now. Dustin enters the swanky pad. Says it will be awesome. Very nice house!!! Dustin says he was evicted and sent to paradise and really looking forward to relaxing for a week and ready for people to roll in one by one after him.

:13 - Three weeks ago, here comes Jen. They greet each other and Dustin welcomes her to loser's paradise. Dustin said first thing he wanted to do was smack her for evicting him over Dick. Jen says she doesn't miss BB and says they're (Dustin and herself) are going to put all of their bad feelings aside. Two weeks ago, Amber enters. Dustin and Amber hug. Cheers between the three and they hope a bad person comes in through the door next.

:14 - One week ago, here comes Jessica. They're thrilled to see her. Amber's shocked Jessica is there but thinks she got what she deserved and glad there's a good person left in the house (Jameka).

:15 - Here comes Eric in the middle of their toast. They're all shocked. Jessica said he was the last person she wanted to see come walking in the kitchen and that he was the funnest person in the house. Jessica and Eric have a long hug. They're shocked. Eric has the DVD.

:16 - They're watching footage of previous competitions. Eric says that the day can not come soon enough that he can reveal he was America's Player and hopes they understand and that it was something he was brought there to do. Dustin says it's just what they were talking about (Zach still being there). Dustin hopes that Zach and Jameka bond together and overtake the Donatos. Eric says if Zach has any brain he'd do that. Jen says, "Well, that was fun."

:17 - JC tells us that the most important POV competition is coming up with the battle lines drawn - Zach and Jameka on one side and the Donatos on the other. Also ahead, the live veto meeting and eviction. Commercial.

:20 - JC welcomes us back. Time for the final POV competition. The veto winner holds all the power. Who will win the POV?

:21 - Jameka and Zach drilling up in HOH. Zach in DR says that he knows he and Jameka have to work together on this. Back to drilling in HOH. Downstairs, Dick tells Daniele that if they can't beat these two idiots they deserve to go home and that there's no reason why they can't kick their ass. Daniele in DR says that it's win or go home. Dick tells her to be confident and not be afraid and tells her she's won this four times. Daniele sighs and says but she's lost two. Dick tells her she's dominated this more than anybody else.

:23 - Jameka and Zach pray in the HOH room. Chanting monks playing in the background during their praying.

:24 - Zach in DR says that this is now a war and says that he and Jameka feel like they're on the good side.

:24 - They're going out back for POV competition. Dick in DR says that it's the two of them against Zach and Jameka and hat Zach drew a line in the sand and found himself on the wrong side.

:24 - POV is named Big Brother Decoder. Put the face of the houseguest on the board between the clues that applies on that person. After doing that, must spin wheel to get corresponding number. After doing all of the houseguests they'll be able to answer 'How many seconds have you been in the BB house?'.

:25 - Competition starts. Ripping off cards covering clues. Dick's putting the faces between the clues. Dani wanted to make sure she had all the faces before she started putting them on the board. Jameka worked the puzzle and number combination at the same time. Zach said he had no idea what the hell he was doing. Figured if he could get one face/number out of the way he could keep moving down the road.

:27 - Dick in DR saying if you could figure out one person and clue for sure that he was putting it up there and getting it out of his hand. Jameka says that one of the clues that tripped her up was 'held HOH only one time' and had forgotten that Dick had just won HOH. Zach says there were so many variables between figuring out how the clues worked and everything but figured things out once he got Kail and said he'd been brain-farting during the first few minutes of the game.

:28 - Dani in DR says she felt like she took forever because she kept going back and forth and said it was more confusing than she thought it would be. Dick in DR said he was trying to get it done as fast as possible and then he finished first but he was wrong. Dani said a couple of them were really difficult but once she figured out Eric she knew she was right.

:29 - Dick pacing back and forth trying to figure it out, now they're all going at it. Dani said it was stressful not knowing how the other players were doing. Zach guesses and it's wrong. Daniele presses the buzzer and wins POV.

:30 - Daniele runs around the backyard screaming like a banshee and finds Dick and hugs him. Jameka says out loud that she's going home. Daniele still screaming and celebrating. She runs and gets the POV medal and puts it on herself. Says in DR that this was the most important veto competition and is so excited.

:31 - Dick yells out Final Three and throws something (water bottle) and tells Zach that he won't even be final two. He picks up another card and throws it up in the air.

:32 - Dick going off on Zach now about how he turned on them two. Dick's really going off and Zach told Dick that he played better than them two and tells Dick his attitude is awful. Dick going off about Zach being the muscle. Zach tells Dick that Daniele carried him. Dick calls him an overgrown ego something and asks why he isn't wearing his crown and tells him to go up in the HOH and rething things. Zach tells him he should get back on the treadmill.

:33 - Dick goes over to Jameka and says congrats and that he'd much rather bring her to final three than the other. Dick goes inside and yells out Final Three and says 'you're going home' about Zach. Dick goes to round room and yells 'Game Over' and Jameka says I don't know about the game being over but it is for me.

:34 - D/D in round room celebrating. Dick says he wouldn't pick anybody else to be in this house to be on his team. Dick's yelling really loud so everybody in the house can hear him. Daniele says in DR that there's no way Zach is getting rid of her that easy. Dick in DR says they want it all - they want everything - this is the season of the Donatos. *puke*

:35 - JC congratulates Daniele in the living room about winning 5 POVs. She asks him about his tactics of unnerving others before competitions and asks why he waited until after the POV to confront Zach. Dick said some things just needed to be said. JC asks Jameka if she was surprised about Zach restoring his faith in God and she said it makes her feel good. Zach says that he always believed in God before he walked in to this house but that Jameka gave him a helping hand to get back on track. Dick was rolling his eyes and making faces during all of this. Commercial. Seriously, I've never been so disgusted by Big Brother before.

:40 - We're back and it's time for the live veto meeting. JC tells Dani it's not the first time her and her dad have been on the chopping block together. Daniele says that she has to pack about three times more than he does and that this week it doesn't matter who comes off and who stays on this week and she's deciding to return the favor and taking her dad off the block. Dick says that was a surprise and they hug. Jameka goes up on the block now.

:41 - Jameka and Daniele on the block. Jameka says she's been here 74 days and has enjoyed her experience and understands that everybody has played their game on their own agenda and tells ED to do what he has to do but nonetheless thanks them all. Daniele says that this is a speech she's not used to - had a great experience here but that if he doesn't use it on her maybe they won't speak for another couple of years (joking).

:42 - Dick stands and votes to evict Jameka. Tells his daughter thanks for using it on him. JC tells her it's official. Jameka hugs Zach and Daniele and Dick and says bye sweeties. Jameka thanks them again and walks out the door.

:43 - Dani says "and then there were three".

:44 - Jameka gives Julie a hug and has a seat. Back inside, they watch Jameka's picture turn to black. They're all quiet. Dick then tells Daniele that he was very surprised and it was very unexpected. Zach says that was cool and that still to this day he's only seen last season and how he took her off....

:44 - JC asks Jameka about her friendship with Zach outside the house. Jameka doesn't see any phone calls outside the house but perhaps occasional emails. Jameka says that how Dick acted towards her praying in the game didn't surprise her but it's his strategy and he has to do what he has to do . JC reminds her of her quote - "I'm not used to being around all these white people." Jameka says they passed all her expectations and that she can now say that people are just people and grateful to everybody for this experience.

:46 - Daniele says that she can't vote out her dad but overall is really glad that she got time to get to know her a little bit better and sorry it had to end here. Dick says it was a pleasure getting to know her. Zach said he was happy getting to have the last few days gettng to know her and wishes her the best.

:47 - Julie tells Jameka about her niece being born and shows her niece's picture on the screen. Jameka's thrilled about it. Julie tells her she's off to the jury house.

:47 - The final HOH is about to begin. The backyard looks like a giant pumpkin patch complete with scarecrows. Commercial.

:52 - We're back. Julie tells the houseguests who are still in the living room to go out back to the backyard. Says it will be played in three parts over the next couple of days. Winner of round 1 will advance to round 3. Winners of rounds 1 and 2 will compete against each other in round 3.

:53 - Competition is called 'The Bunny Hop'. Each of them has to step onto one of the carrots and hold onto the key above of their head. At least one hand must remain in contact with the key at all times. This little white rabbit is up to no good and will try to knock them off their feet. They must dodge the rabbit by jumping over him each time he runs past them. If they let go of their key, fall from their carrot, or stop the rabbit from moving forward they're out of the game. Last person left standing automatically advances.

:53 - The rabbit begins going around. The competition starts now. They have to jump over the pole the rabbit is on each time it comes to their carrot while holding onto the key.

:55 - Julie asks them how they're doing and they say they're doing all right. Says the final three have a tough night ahead of them and you never know what's coming down the rabbit hole next. Commercial.

:57 - We're back and return to the backyard. All are still doing fine. Do you know what it takes to keep a garden lush? That's right. It takes rain. Water comes pouring down. Daniele says she's so cold. Julie tells them to hang on and that it will be a long night.

:58 - Julie tells this Thursday, the final HOH is crowned and singlehandedly evicts someone. On Sunday, is a 'Best of Big Brother' show. Reminds of Big Brother After Dark on Showtime.

:59 - Back to the backyard. It's raining really hard. Both of them keep jumping as the rabbit gets to them. Show over.

So what did you think about the show???

Thank You

I can't believe Dick and Daniele are up and playing cards right now. They know that tonight is a live show and there will be the POV ceremony and eviction but I don't know if they realize the first part of the HOH competition begins tonight. Zach has been sleeping tons so he should be good to go on that. Any takers on how long the endurance competition lasts tonight?

Because it's a live show tonight, I'll be liveblogging it so be sure to come back later tonight and chime in with your thoughts on the show and the competition with all of the other Big Brother nuts around here - including myself!

Finally, I would like to thank all of you for a fantastic Big Brother season here on Silly Hamsters. Y'all are a great group of people and I couldn't ask for better readers and commenters. Even though we all didn't agree on everything and root for the same people, I've enjoyed how respectful you have all been to each other and to myself. All of you make Silly Hamsters what it is and you should all give each other a big pat on the back and a nice and hearty cyber handshake.

Even though I don't care for the Donatos, I can't wait for the show tonight! Especially the first part of the HOH competition? How about yourself?

You Asked For It

You asked for it and you got it!

I will definitely be blogging reality TV for y'all this coming fall season. Some of the shows I'll be blogging about include: Survivor China, The Bachelor, America's Next Top Model, Dancing With The Stars, and Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay as well as some other pretty cool programming Real Networks has up its sleeve. I hope you haven't cancelled your SuperPass yet!

I'll post more specifics in the coming days but I wanted y'all to be the first to hear about it!

See? I told you not to leave me just yet. wink.gif

From HD - 6:10 - PM - Just to clarify, there are no live feeds of these shows (Survivor, DWTS, ANTM, etc). I will be blogging about the shows after they air as well as blogging about the drama surrounding them. The programming that I will be blogging about concerning Real Networks does require a SuperPass subscription if you would like to watch however.

Don't Leave Me Yet

So many of you are saying 'See ya next season' already that it's making me sad. As sickened as some of you are at what wll be the probably outcome, don't leave me yet!

We still have lots of good stuff to talk about. Some of those things we still have to discuss are:

* The fallout from Dustin and Amber's racist comments
* The reveal of Eric as the America's Player to the other hamsters
* What was up with sequester
* Eric and Jessica's relationship and how real it is/was
* The finale itself

So see? You can't go just yet! hehehe

What is it that you're looking forward to seeing at the finale? Whose lives do you think will have been changed after the show?

Picture This

Finally, tonight's show began in the way that we're all accustomed - with recaps. There was an inordinate amount of recapping tonight and it was just too much. But let's get on with it anyway shall we?

It's Day 69 and Jessica is evicted from the house. Her departure is punctuated with the obligatory hugs, tears, and encouraging words to Jameka. Speaking of Jameka, we're shown the footage of Dick offering Jameka the deal an hour before the show began that night. Dick said that him and Daniele will not vote her out if if she promises that were she to win HOH she won't put both of them (Dick and Daniele) up on the block together AND she does whatever they tell her to do for the next two weeks. Jameka didn't swear on the Bible but she did give her word.

Back to footage of the POV competition, 'Niagara Balls', which Zach won. After the competition when they were walking back inside the house, Jameka was upset and Daniele went up to her and reassured her that she won't be going home. Footage of POV ceremony, Zach not using the POV, and Eric being evicted. The final four (Dick, Daniele, Zach, and Jameka) celebrate in front of the memory wall.

Ugh. Did we really need to see more gloating from Dick now? It's all I've been seeing since yesterday. But yeah, Dick in the diary room said that because of both of their (D/D) agreements with Zach and Jameka they'll definitely be two of the final three. Dick and Daniele go off to Dick's bedroom and are celebrating when Zach opens the door and wants to come in with them. Rejected! D/D keep celebrating while Zach lays down right outside their room in Jessica's old bed and then in the diary room is upset that Dick and Daniele didn't include him in their celebration. He thought he was working with them. Daniele in the diary room then compares Zach to the friend that always calls you on your cell phone - you never answer the calls and only check your voicemail to see what they said.

The pictures on the memory wall have changed. In each hamster's spot is now a snapshot taken during the various competitions held throughout this season. They're all supposed to study the pictures because they'll be important in the upcoming HOH competition.

HOH competition time! The competition is called 'Picture This' and they have to answer questions related to the pics from the memory wall. For each correct answer they (Zach, Jameka, and Daniele) provide, they can take one step up on the platform. At the end of eight questions, it was a tie between Zach and Daniele and they went on to a tiebreaker question. The tiebreaker question was what was the total number of houseguests in the replaced pictures on the memory wall? Daniele wrote down 58, Zach wrote down 59, 69 is the correct answer, and Zach wins HOH.

Daniele threw her board down, half-heartedly congratulated Zach, and then went inside to go pout. Zach's excited and gets congrats from Dick and Jameka. Back to Daniele pouting inside now. Dick goes in to try to comfort her and says they can do it. Daniele just keeps pouting and the segment ends with her saying, "This sucks, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks."

Zach gets his HOH room and a really touching letter from his dad that brings him to tears a little. Now Dick's in the backyard telling Zach that Jameka has to go home. Zach tells Jameka in the backyard then that he wants to put up Dick and Daniele together and take her to final two with him. Zach's now back up in the HOH room and Daniele's asking him if he's going to put them two (her and her dad) up. He's kinda brushing her off and she's getting snooty. Daniele snooty? Surely not!

Daniele runs and reports Zach's shady attitude with her dad downstairs and he goes and talks to Zach outside in the backyard. Dicks tells Zach that he hopes he doesn't break the deal they had. Zach tells him that at this point you have to do what you have to do. Dick gets the idea and starts being his typical self. Then Dick says he's gonna leave before he really gets pissed and tells Zach that he'd better play for the POV.

Now it's time for the nomination ceremony and of course Zach puts up Dick and Daniele. He says he's here to play the game and feels that he's made it this far in the game on his own and that it's nice being with somebody in the house who's restored his faith in God (Jameka). Then Zach's speech really begins going overboard and he's acting rather pompous even though he's making valid points about how Dick and Daniele have acted in the house. He doesn't agree with Dick's intimidating gameplay but it's worked for him. Daniele's won lots of competitions and is a threat. And of course Dick and Daniele are interjecting their smart ass comments most of the time during his speech. Jameka's just sitting there like, 'whoa'.

The show's over now and we're reminded about a special live show on Tuesday at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT that will have the POV competition, POV ceremony, and live eviction.

Personally, tonight's show really just sickened me. I'm so sick of Dick and Daniele's behavior. And you know what, I can dislike them if I want to so to all of you Dick and Daniele fans - deal with it.

What did all of you think about the show tonight?

The POV Princess Strikes Again

In case you don't know already, Daniele won the POV.

Since they've come in from the competition, Dick's been going off on Zach by calling him names and acting like, well, a dick. Dick did follow through on his promise to go off on Zach about calling him a racist. (Supposedly, Zach told Eric 'that was very white of you' during a game of beer pong and Dick took him to task about it right after he said it.) Here is the video that shows Zach making the comment but it does not include Dick saying something to him after it.

So when they were coming back inside from after the competition Dick was going off on Zach about it with the intent of swinging Jameka's end vote towards him and Daniele and away from Zach if Zach happened to be in the final two. Well he was doing it for that reason and because he was pissed that Zach put both him and Daniele up on the block going back on their word. Since then, Dick keeps talking about how they've won (himself or Daniele) the game now and the money is theirs.

So yeah, Jameka will be the next one going home. As far as Dick, Daniele, and Zach everything now depends on the final three-part HOH competition.

Here is the TV schedule for the rest of the season and what the shows will include:

Sunday, Sept 9th - The second HOH competition from Thursday night that was won by Zach, nomination ceremony, and perhaps the POV competition

Tuesday, Sept 11th - POV competition (if it wasn't shown on Sunday), the live POV ceremony, live eviction of Jameka, Jameka's little talk with Julie, and Part 1 (endurance) of the final 3-part HOH competition will begin on the show and finish on the live feeds

Thursday, Sept 13th - Another live show covering what happened in Part 1 of the HOH competition and the winner of that, a live Part 2 (physical challenge) of the HOH competition, the live final part (question/answer) of the HOH competition made up of the winners of Part 1 and Part 2, the final HOH evicting somebody on the spot, and the evictee's interview with Julie

No Sunday show

Tuesday, Sept 18th - The finale will show footage of the final 2 being questioned by the jurors on Saturday and everything else will be live. All of the houseguests (jury and non-jury) will be there and questioned by Julie, live voting by the jury members, and of course the crowning of the newest winner of Big Brother

So what are your thoughts on Daniele winning the POV? Dick's behavior toward Zach? What Zach supposedly said to Eric? And if any of you know of where I could find video of that or the live feed transcript that includes that comment from that day/night please let me know and I'll link it up.

I'll end this post with something said just a little bit ago after the POV competition....

"I try to be completely nice to the guy and he's a stupid idiot." - Dick

ETA at 7:00 PM - Guess what I received in my email a little big ago? That's right! A chop made especially for Silly Hamsters by C=Venus! Do you like it? I love it! Be sure to check out her work and visit her store and grab some gear. Her 'The Donatos' chop is especially popular! Thanks C=Venus! I'm very honored.

Tin-Foil Hats For All!

Here I was thinking that today would be a slow Big Brother day. I had plans of frolicking through a meadow laden with daisies, bluebonnets, and buttercups. The sun on my face and the wind in my hair. Ah, such is the life of this Big Brother blogger. 'Twas not to be though. The awful humidity, occasional thunderstorms, oppressive heat, work, and anxiety in the BB house kept me from my follies. Perhaps next decade. *sigh*

~Tin-foil hat on.~

Perhaps some of you are aware of the rumor going 'round that Dick put his blue ball in Jameka's tube. That sounds dirty. He didn't! How do I know this? Because Lynette Rice over at EW.com spoke with a "network spokesperson" who said that a blue ball definitely did bounce into Jameka's tube. Could this errant bouncing ball have created havoc and caused a re-do of the POV competition? Of course it could have. But we didn't need to have a re-do because the outcome would have been the same regardless if Jameka had won the POV. Latest conspiracy theory #1 taken care of.

In late breaking news today Dick, after plenty of bitching and moaning, received his HOH basket. Inside his basket was a letter from his son Vincent among other such necessities in life like Ho Hos, Marlboros, and Disc 1 of Motley Crue's 'Red, White, and Crue', a double disc compilation which doesn't contain his favorite song 'Hooligan's Holiday'. Personally, I prefer Disc 1 because it has the best songs on it. 'Wild Side' is a personal fave in case you were wondering. Where was I at? Oh right.

Dick's letter from Vincent seems to have been coded. Coded you say? Indeed. Dick told us this afternoon on the live feeds that Vincent and himself worked out a plan (in case Dick was able to receive a letter from home) so that Vincent could feed him some information from outside of the house. Hmmm. Finished watching the video yet? If not, I'll wait.

Now it turns out that this letter with Vincent's secret message isn't really even important anymore at this stage of the game. Jen, Jessica, and Eric have all been evicted so it's obvious Vincent didn't write this letter after the show ended last night. Regardless, this little scheme of theirs could have an effect on future seasons of Big Brother. Big Brother does not like outside influences that they are not in control of. I have a feeling that future HOHs in future seasons may not be receiving any more letters from home. To all future contestants, be sure to thank Dick and his son Vincent for that. Latest conspiracy theory #2 taken care of. Or is it?

~Tin-foil hat off.~

If you actually read all of this I congratulate you and reward you by telling you who Zach put on the block. The feeds just came back on and Zach nominated Dick and Daniele.

What are your thoughts on the blue ball in Jameka's tube? What do you think about Vincent's letter to Dick? What do you think about these conspiracy theories that pop up every season concerning Big Brother? What do you think about Zach's nominations? Raise your hand if you can't wait for the POV competition.

Eric & America's Player

I wonder how Eric's feeling today.

Eric was such a fan of Big Brother and had been wanting to be a hamster in that house for a long time. He finally gets accepted by Big Brother and is really excited to be living in that house. Then Big Brother tells him that he isn't there to play for himself. They tell him that he has to play for America or he can't play at all. That had to have been a shocker to him when they told him that. I know it would have been for me if I'd been in his spot.

He accepts the challenge (and the chance at extra cash) and enters the house with thirteen people that he doesn't know. He can't vote to evict the way he wants. He has to lobby to get somebody nominated that perhaps he wouldn't have chosen himself. He has to do these stupid (but sometimes funny) tasks to people that we pick for him.

I think Eric had advantages and disadvantages because of being America's Player. He was able to, at times, glean some information from what we told him to do. Overall though, I think being America's Player was less advantageous to him. Look at how many times we (and I include myself in that) misled him or gave him something practically impossible to do. Of course, we do still need to keep in mind that most of the people voting for AP were primarily television viewers and not hardcore addicts such as ourselves.

We will be casting his vote for who to win the whole shebang however. His game is done but ours is not. Depending on who the final two are, that could be interesting.

I wonder what you think about the entire America's Player 'thing'? Do you think a twist like this would ever be done by Big Brother again? If so, how do you think they would change it up? Do you think Eric was the right person chosen for America's Player? Why or why not? Who else in the house this season do you think might have been able to pull it off? And how do you think Eric is feeling today?

The Ogre

HOH_final4_setup.JPG

Well, things that make you go hmmmm.

No, I'm not talking about Jameka.

Zach is the new HOH.

Zach_HOH_again.JPG

It seems he beat Daniele by one point (59 to 58) in whatever kind of competition it was (see the screencap above for the setup). Dick isn't happy about it (keeps saying 'F**k and saying it couldn't have been any closer. Jameka is lost in thought in the living room. Daniele is deep in thought by herself on her bed. But wait, Big Brother has called a lockdown and Dick has to stop smoking. He joins/interrupts Daniele inside and they're going over the competition while Zach is in the Diary Room.

And now she's whining about why couldn't BB give them a minute longer. Gah. Dick's trying to keep her focused but she's still upset. Get over it already Daniele.

So what's Zachypoo going to do now? What do you want to happen? Who do you want to win the POV?

Liveblogging - Thursday, September 6th, 2007

-:60 - It's almost that time. Are you as excited about tonight as I am? It's going to be a jam-packed show with shock, elation, dread, and uncertainty starring alongside the hamsters. While waiting for the show, during the show, and after the show jump into chat to discuss the goings on. Too bad CBS keeps flaking by putting the pre-show trivia on so early. Ah well. Tonight, some of us are going to be really disappointed and some of us are going to be thrilled. I wonder which one I will be.

-:10 - 10 minutes to go! I'm about to bite my fingernails off.

-:03 - Eric and Jessica were just on the feeds for a few minutes. They know about the Double Eviction tonight. That really pisses me off.

:00 - Previously on....

:02 - Hello there Julie. It's Day 69. It's a Big Brother Fast Forward. Two houseguests will be evicted. She's going over the details - everything will be the same as last season's Fast Forward. AP will still be voting for us this hour though. Get your cell phones ready (no mention of online voting).

:03 - Footage of POV ceremony. Jess in DR says she hopes that D/D will pay her back (by her not getting them evicted) by not evicting her.

:04 - D/D in round room talking about how Jameka will have to make a deal with the devil this week. Dick in DR says that he and Daniele will decide who goes this week. Jameka's feeling a little bit to secure and he's going to have to let her know she's going home this week but that 10 minutes before the show he's going to pull her aside and let her know that she's staying.

:05 - Dick in BY telling Jameka that they'll be sending her to jury house this week. Jameka in DR (crying) says that she's here playing for her nieces, etc and that she's not ready to go.

:05 - Jameka tells Jessica in the BY that he told her she's going home. But she doesn't fully believe him and hopes that something happens.

:06 - Eric approaching Jessica in BY while she's tanning. Jessica tells Erica what Jameka told her about Jameka going home. She says she won't believe it until it happens. Jessica in DR says that the reassurance from Eric makes her feel OK. Eric in DR feels confident that Jessica will be safe this week and that D/D will come through with their word.

:07 - AP task from Tuesday night. Eric has to evict Jameka. (Yes, they're showing us this early.)

:07 - Eric talking to Daniele in BY. Eric asking if Jessica is staying or going and that if Jessica is leaving just to please tell him. Daniele tells him that it's all good and to chill out. No worries.

:08 - JC is giving them the news about tonight. Hello houseguests!

:08 - You're about to experience a live show like no other - it's BB Fast Forward. Two of you will be leaving tonight. Mostly shocked looks on people's faces.

:08 - Time for pleading their cases. Jameka says that she's enjoyed her time there and hopes that it doesn't end tonight and that she's made some good & not so good decisions in the house but that she's given her word and they should know it's a guarantee regardless but understands it's a game. Jessica says that she thought walking through the door and finding her rival would be her hardest week but this week has been the hardest sitting next to her friend Jameka (kinda crying) and may the best person win.

:10 - Eric is up first for voting to evict. JC tells us that we know his vote is Jameka. JC gives him a secret message about his next task and tells him that America will still be telling him what to do this hour. Says that after the HOH comp she will ask one of the HGs to lead all of them back into the house and that's the person America wants him to target for the upcoming nominations. He says he'll do his best.

:11 - Dick (says he's stoked about tonight) votes to evict Jessica. Daniele says she's feeling really nervous and that it was alot to take in. She says she had an idea about the DE but thought it would have been sooner. Daniele votes to evict Jessica.

:12 - By a vote of 2-1, Jessica is evicted. She hugs Jameka and walks toward the door. Gives Eric a hug. Dick tells Jessica he's really sorry while she's hugging Eric. Eric says he's going to stay and do it for her. Jess hugs Jameka again and tells her to win the veto for her. She hugs Jameka and Eric together now (the others have walked off to the BY). Jessica leaves. Jameka crying.

:13 - Jessica meets Julie and has a seat. Back inside, Eric says he's not surprised and that he understands. Dick tells him he's sorry. Eric is amped. Jameka crying. Eric tells Daniele that she could have at least told him when he asked. Dick says it was a last minute decision. Eric says that she could have told him because nothing would have been changed with the votes.

:14 - Jessica tells JC she didn't campaign because it wouldn't do anything because she can't trust the Donatos. Thinks it might have been last minute because they were afraid of her and how strong of a competitor she is. Says she loves Eric and says her feelings inside the house were real. Goodbye messages - Dick says he's so sorry but strategically it was the only way to go. Zach says he's sorry he had to put her on the block and will see her in a few weeks. Daniele says it was fun getting to know her this summer and it was just strategic. Jameka says she'll miss her. Eric tells Jessica that he's going to miss her and will be a maniac for her while he's there and that he loves her. Jessica says awww.

:16 - JC tells the HGs to head to the backyard (Jessica was on the big screen - don't know if they heard Jessica talking to Julie or not).

:17 - JC reminds us that Jameka can't compete for this HOH but can compete in the next HOH.

:17 - Voting for Eric in this commercial break only. Which HG do we want Eric to get nominated? Text your vote to 81818. 1 for Daniele. 2 for Dick. 3 for Jameka. 4 for Zach. If Eric is the HOH he will nominate the highest vote getter but if the highest vote getter is HOH then the 2nd highest vote getter will be who he targets. Eastern and Central voters count only. Commercial. I'm voting for Daniele!

:21 - HOH is up for grabs. Zach & Jam can't compete. Tonight's comp is called 'Before or After'. Dick, Daniele, and Eric are standing on stairs to answer questions regarding former houseguests. After step forward. Before step back. There will be 8 questions and the houseguest with the highest number of correct answers will be the new HOH.

:22 - Q1 - All right. Q2 - All correct again. Q3 - Daniele is the only one right and takes the lead with 3 points. Q4 - Dick and Eric correct and now the score is all tied at 3 points apiece. Q5 - Dick is wrong. Eric and Daniele with 4 points and Dick with 3 points. Q6 - Dick and Eric correct. Eric has the lead with 5 points, Dick 4, and Daniele 3. Q7 - Dick and Daniele right and all three are tied with 5 points. Q8 - Dick is the only one who got it right and is the new HOH!

:25 - Daniele screams and hugs Dick. Eric looks really dejected. Zach hugs Daniele. Dick celebrating and grabs a cigarette but not able to smoke it.

:26 - JC tells us that America voted to get Daniele nominated so she is asked to lead everybody back inside. Tells them that the nominations will happen in a few minutes.

:26 - Small talk going inside. Daniele says that's hilarious and that it's so sad (no idea what she's talking about).

:30 - JC tells us it's time to listen to last minute strategy. Eric and Jameka talking (couldn't make out what they said). Dick was washing his hands and joins everybody else in LR. Eric joking with Dick about Daniele going up right? LMAO

:31 - Dick says this really sucks but he's nominating Eric and Jameka. He says sorry but that it's all game.

:32 - JC tells them to get ready and that the POV competition is next. JC says the POV competition and second live eviction when we return. Commercial.

:36 - We're back. Time for the POV competition. They're in the BY with helmets on their head and safety glasses. This comp is called 'Niagara Balls'. More than 5,000 rubber balls will fall down. Must collect only the green balls and fill their tube. First to fill their tube with 8 green balls wins the POV competition.

:37 - Comp begins. They trying to catch them. Daniele saying, 'Ouch'! They also have knee pads and elbow pads on. Jameka took her pads off. Somebody cursed because the audio cut out when Julie was telling us something about the numbers.

:38 - Jam has 3, Zach has 2, (more audio cutoff), Zach in the lead with 4 green balls. Dani says what the hell was that and looks pissed. They're all going up for the balls. Zach and Dick fighting over the balls.

:40 - Jameka is disqualified because she put a blue ball in her tube and JC tells her she's disqualified. Jameka yelling that she didn't (but clearly she did).

:40 - Zach has won the POV. JC tells him he has just a few minutes to decide if he's going to use it.

:41 - Live POV ceremony coming up. Commercial.

:42 - We're back and listening in on them in the house. Dick calls out to Rich (seems like something is wrong with his microphone). Audio cuts in and out.

:43 - Julie tells them that it's time for the POV meeting. Jameka and Eric plead their case. Jameka says she's not ready to go home yet and hopes they take it into consideration. Eric says that Zach has no consideration that he's going to use it and that he hasn't won a competition in weeks.

:44 - Zach says it's a lot of power (being long-winded) and chooses not to use the POV. Says he made an oath to his group and will stick to it. JC tells them we'll be right back for another live vote and eviction. Commercial.

:48 - Julie welcomes us back and reminds us that at the beginning of the hour Jessica was evicted and now either Jameka or Eric will be evicted.

:48 - Jameka and Eric can plead their case for staying. Jameka says that being on the block this many times is not fun but is how this game works and understands that and wants to not only vote on the person that can further advance their game but that she is a woman of her word. Eric says that he's disappointed and surprised to be in this decision and tells the 3 of them that the power is in their hands right now but says he's stuck by them in the game and had the opportunity to help them and that obviously earlier tonight that trust was breached but says he's been good to them and wants them to be good to him and give him a fair chance.

:50 - Time to vote. JC tells Dick that if there were a tie he would break it. Zach votes to evict Eric. Daniele votes to evict Eric.

:51 - By a vote of 2-0, Eric you are evicted from the BB house. Eric hugs Jameka. He hugs Daniele and hugs Zach. He tells everybody he appreciates it and that there's no ill will but reminds them that he sent the Philadelphia lawyer to the jury. Dick tells him it was nothing personal and that he's had the best time with him. Eric says he understands. Daniele says to send Jen our regards. Eric says he will but that hopefully she's dead by shark attacks.

:53 - Eric walks out WITHOUT his bags and meets Julie. Back inside, Jameka washes her hands. Daniele and Dick talking together in the bathroom. Dick tells Daniele that they have her POV this week and her vote (meaning Jameka). Audio cut out due to Dick cussing. Jameka thinks that the blue ball bounced into her tube.

:54 - Eric tells Julie that he's at peace with it and says he's played the best he could do and that he's had obstacles they none of them know and that without him some of them wouldn't be in the house. Eric said it was hard to balance America's goals with his. Says that things would have unfolded very differently if he had his say in the house - that Amber and Dustin would still be there instead of Dick and Daniele. He's saying he tried really hard in his America's Player tasks. JC asks about his showmance. Eric says it wasn't a showmance but that it was very genuine feelings and that his feelings for her didn't get in the way. He's afraid that his role as AP might have gotten in her way and not just his.

:56 - Julie tells him he's leaving with $40,000 for his tasks completed. JC tells him he's off to the jury house and that Jess is there.

:56 - Julie tells us on Sunday at 8:00 PM ET we'll find out who the new HOH is and who they nominated for eviction. Tuesday at 9:00 ET is a special live show featuring a vote and eviction. One week from tonight is another live show "when the final HOH is crowned and single-handedly evicts someone therefore choosing who will sit next to them in the final two." Reminds us of BBAD.

:58 - Eavesdropping on the final four. Dick smiling ear to ear and talking with Daniele and Zach in the kitchen. Sounds like they're going over the HOH competition earlier. Dick says that's the one he got wrong, Nick again! Ahhh Nick!

:59 - Show's over.

So what'd ya think about the show tonight? There will be an HOH competition starting later tonight so I'm not going to start a new post until we found out our newest HOH.

Just spill. All of your thoughts in general. Type them down and tell us all about it.

KEEP THE FEEDS ON!!!

ETA at 12:10 PM - It seems I've whipped some of you up into quite a frenzy. I apologize for that. I'm just talking about keeping the feeds on up until the live show starts because I want to see Dick talk to Jameka about the deal. CBS will never keep the feeds on 24/7 from the start of the season to the end of the season and besides, you should know that if you read the fine print when you sign up. So calm down everybody and cease the hating CBS die and burn in hell comments.

Finally Thursday

Finally. It's Thursday. The day we've all been waiting for. It seems like it's taken forever to get here. I hope my day passes quickly because I can't wait for the show tonight.

Did y'all watch the Janelle chat on Feed 4 yesterday? Janelle isn't my favorite person but I still thought the chat was interesting. It was definitely more interesting than what was going on in the house at that moment. I did like that it wasn't just a 20 or 30 minute chat (which is what I expected) and that it lasted a little over an hour. Next week Howie and Kaysar will be on Feed 4 for a chat. I don't know all the details but as soon as I find them out, I'll pass that info on to all of you. I do hope though that they get former hamsters that weren't part of the Sovs to chat with everybody.

While the chat with Janelle was going on though, it seems Daniele came out of the Diary Room and decided to discuss with Dick possible scenarios concerning a double eviction. I find that interesting. Do you? Did any of you happen to hear Dick and Daniele's conversation regarding a DE?

Did any of you watch Jessica pack yesterday? I was in complete amazement that Jessica was able to get all of her stuff packed. Of course, she had to have help from Jameka and Eric because she wasn't doing such a great job by herself. I still can't believe they actually did it though!

I'll be liveblogging the show tonight so join us here and in chat (will put the link up in tonight's liveblogging post) and 'watch' the show with other Big Brother fans here. I'm sure there will be a ton of stuff to talk about right before, during and after the show.

I wonder if Big Brother will call it a Fast Forward tonight like they did last year? For those of you wondering how last year's Fast Forward worked, please click this link and read exactly how it happened.

So what do you want to see happen tonight? Do you think Jessica or Jameka will be going home first? Who do you want to go home second tonight? It's definitely going to be a fun night!

ETA at 9:09 AM - Big Brother and CBS, I beseech you to please NOT turn off the feeds until right before the show begins tonight. Please stop turning them off for more than an hour before. PLEASE!!!

Biggest And Best

What do you think the hamsters' biggest mistakes have been in the game? What do you think their best moves have been?

Every year I like asking these questions because it's interesting to see what y'all think. The answers usually vary greatly especially depending on who your favorite(s) and least favorite(s) are or have been.

You can confine your answers to the hamsters that are still left in the house or you can include those thave have been evicted. Whatever you want. I'm just interested in reading your thoughts.

ETA at 5:32 AM - I know a lot of you are Janelle fans so I'm passing this info on - just read over at I Love Reality that Janelle will have an exclusive chat with Real Superpass subscribers on Cam 4 tonight at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT. So don't forget to tune in. There probably won't be much else going on so I'll be checking it out myself.

A Dream Crusher

Honestly? Dream Crusher? You really call yourself that Zach? You have to be kidding me.

But yeah, after the recaps, Zach actually calls himself the Dream Crusher in the Diary Room. That was one of several times I laughed out loud tonight. Jameka actually cursed and said that Zach's noms were full of something that seemed to rhyme with fit. Now I just couldn't imagine what that could be! Perhaps she meant wit?

After the nominations, Jessica and Jameka were talking about who has to win the POV. It has to be Eric! Meanwhile, Zach and Daniele are dissing Eric and Jessica up in the HOH room. Camera goes to Eric in the DR saying that it's a dream for him to be there but it's turning into his worse nightmare. Just wait Eric. Just wait.

While they were having fun later at the dining room table, Jessica tells a story of when she was younger and was asked what she wanted to be when she grew up. She said that she'd either like to be the first female president of the United States of America or a waitress. Daniele in DR says she's been a waitress since she was 17 years old. Back at the table, Dick says something about a stripper or a waitress. Daniele took it the wrong way (like she always does) and thinks that Dick is making fun of her. Dick and Daniele argue. Not going there.

Time for the POV morphomatic with the Janie doll competition. We all know what happened. Yes, Big Brother did show Eric comparing Janelle to Miss Piggy. Yes, Big Brother did show Janelle definitely being more excited for Dick and Daniele during the competition. Yes, Big Brother did show Eric apologizing to Janelle. Yes, Big Brother did show Janelle brushing Eric off. Funny how Janelle never mentioned that Eric apologized to her. Hmmm. Big Brother, please don't ask Janelle back for any more competitions. I don't care how many pink M&Ms and pink carnations she sends your office. Just say no.

Daniele won her 4th POV with 7 morphs right, Zach had 6, Dick and Jessica had 4 correct, Eric had 3, and Jameka had 2 that were right.

Jessica gave Eric the cold shoulder after the POV competition. Dick daydreamed about Janelle (sickening). Then, Jessica told Eric that he should be on the block instead of her. Way to stick up for that ro- I mean show- I mean fauxmance. What a nice young lady.

Ahhh, here we go. Eric gets his AP task from Sunday evening. He has to mimic a fellow houseguest at least three times before the POV ceremony. And America chose.....Dick! Eric's excited about it and immediately sets to work. See the clips in my 'Dick Was Picked' post below for the three happenings. Task completed.

Pre-POV ceremony segment with Dick and Daniele trying to figure out how they want the final four to be. They want themselves, Zach, and Jameka in the final four. I loved how Dick in his DR says that he's not the type in real life to screw people over. I kinda wonder if he spits and hacks like that in real life. I think so. He should give up on Janelle already then. Somehow, I don't think Janelle's the type to enjoy a man spitting and coughing up all the time. I may not like her but I think she can do better than you Dick. But wait, she is a fan of yours. So maybe she does like your spitting? Hmmmm.

Now it's time for the POV ceremony and of course. Daniele doesn't use it. If only she knew that Eric was America's Player she would have put Eric up in somebody's place in a New York minute. I guess it's a good thing she doesn't know then right?

The show ends with Jameka crying in the DR saying she's not ready to go. Jessica says that her fate is in Dick and Daniele's hands. Daniele says that she's looking out for herself and her dad.

Of course, the new America's Player task is who we want Eric to vote out. Jessica or Jameka. You can vote here for free. Votes are accepted until midnight Pacific time tonight and a maximum of 10 votes will be accepted online.

What did you think about tonight's show? What did you think about the editing during the POV competition with the sweet little butterfly Janelle? How much did you like Eric's mimicry of Dick? Do Eric and Jessica make you want to puke as much as I want to? Do you think Zach is a dream crusher? I almost forgot! Who are you voting for Eric to evict?

Deal With The Devil?

By now, most of you know about Dick's plan to approach Jameka before the show on Thursday evening. Just in case you don't know, Dick is going to approach Jameka and tell her that they (himself and Daniele) will vote to keep her in if she will, in return, use the next POV (if she wins it) the way that they want her to use it.

If she accepts - she stays and they'll vote Jessica out. If she doesn't accept - well they don't even really entertain the thought. Not to mention, none of them are aware that two of them in house will be leaving during Thursday's show.

Dick told Jameka yesterday that she will be going home on Thursday. He didn't want her to feel blindsided. How nice of him! He also wanted Jessica to feel secure in her staying and didn't want Eric buzzing around in his ear all week. Understandable.

Do you think Jameka will accept Dick and Daniele's offer to stay in the house? Or do you think she'll get pissed and tell him she's not going to do that and they'll have to do what they have to do. If Jameka doesn't take the deal, do you think Dick and Daniele will really vote Jameka out or will they still vote Jessica out instead? Do you think this is a good tactic for Dick and Daniele to use? What do you think is going to happen with all of this?

Dick Was Picked

Yes!!! Dick was the one chosen for Eric to imitate. Here are a couple of videos that I found posted over at Jokers Updates. The first two are by Codinome and the third one is by Dreamer.

And then, Dick retaliates by pantsing Eric! Don't worry. No nud
