I think Jen is getting a raw deal in the BB house. I am not that crazy about her but I totally understand why she would do what she did. I think it was wrong of BB to give Dick more smokes when they let him do whatever to whomever. He should have to go without his cigs, and I am a smoker. I am just sick of the dick. Simply put, Jen is giving Dick a taste of his own medicine and he doesn't like it. She was cleared by BB before entering the house that should could destroy cigs and when they replenished dick's cigs, it killed the medicine she was dishing out. If BB lied to Jen, then she wasn't going to follow the rules. Call it a wash. But Dick came right up to Jen and blew smoke in her face (a la iced tea over the head)... that lead to her jumping up and confronting him. Goes to feeds and returns with Eric being asked about Jen getting a cigarette burn? If Dick did that, he's the biggest prick in the entire world. But, then he can't take the high road, he has to hide all of Jen's clothes and will tell his puppet -- I mean daughter -- not to return them to Jen. I'm still on Jen's side on this whole thing. I hope BB makes good on their word to Jen before the show and takes Dick's cigs out... and that Daniele finds a mind of her own and gives Jen back her clothes. And wish everyone else would wake up and realize they all look like complete A-Holes by how they ostracize Jen. And most of all, I hope Jen makes it through this week!

Dick needs to go. No one deserves that kind of berating. He's been doing it for most of the show already. He's a small-minded person with women issues. He's screwed up his relationship with Dani and will again after this show is over. Jen should get paid something for the crap she had to endure. I hope Zach wins the whole thing but the worst will bubble to the top.

I am not a Jen fan, but I am amazed that it took her 53 days of putting up with Dick's abuse to finally crack and retaliate. I think that BB should not have giving back Dick's cigs and I agree that Both Jen and Dick should now be gone from the game. I think he crossed the line when he dumped the ice tea on her head.

I'm 100% on Jen's side here. Dick has harassed, threatned to rape and kill her, poured tea on her (legally assault or whatever), and done all sorts of otehr things to her for weeks now. He's getting what he deserves.
Compared to what Dick has done, Jen destroying some cigs is rather harmless, imo.

One of the worst incidents, imo, was the time wher eJen was at the counter, and Dick was attacking her and with eveyr retort she had at one of his disgusting comments, he would take what he was holding (golf club) and wacking the table top not 2 inches from her.

And I agree about the destroying property, but have we all forgotten Dick destroying Jen and Jessica's property earlier in the season? Pam, thanks for the nice comment the other day! I think the major difference between the mustard and the cigs is that the mustard could be washed off but the ruined cigs had to be replaced. How unfair it is that Jenn can just keep eating she's got people wondering if they sould go ahead and evict Jameka since Jenn will have a penalty nomination and won't be eligible for the POV.

Wow. I go to visit my sister for a day and a half, and I can't believe how much I missed! I smoke, and totally think BB should have replaced Dick's cigs. I don't think that they should throw her out, though. Not unless, that is, they kick out Dick for the verbal abuse and iced tea, and kick out Amber for her remarks about Jews, while they're at it. If BB blatantly condones vandalizing property for America's player, then where can they realistically draw the line?

Since I wasn't around yesterday, let me respond as well about Danielle. Yes, she whines too much. I think that I heard she had been living with Kris for a couple of years. This means she was a teenager when she moved in with him. I seem to remember her saying something about her being the one who brought home the money in the household. Also, most, if not all of the time she was living with Kris, she was not talking to her dad. Maybe Kris is afraid that Dick will call him out for being a freeloader. Danielle didn't really do anything serious with Nick. They were close friends, but she kept reminding him that she had a boyfriend she cared about. Nick obviously would have taken the relationship further, if Dani had permitted him to. So, I think Dani is too young for a permanent long term relationship. Before she'll really be ready, she'll need to mature enough to come to terms with her parents, and be able to accept them for who they are. I think Dani would be better off without Kris, at least for awhile. I think she should get comfortable with herself, before considering marriage.

Let's get the story straight! Some of you really like to distort the truth about Dick but he did not start this fight (Of course, you could read that above but some are too ignorant to do that.) Jen grabbed Dick's cigarette and burned herself. Dick was smoking in the smoking area and she came over and got into his face and that's when it hit the fan. She attacked him. If you think she is entitled to destroy his property than Dick should be allowed to shred all of her clothes. It's only fair. There was a serious conversation amongst the HGs about Jen possibly needing to see the Psychiatrist. Appears that all HGs agree that there was something not quite right about her when she came into the house. Anyways, there is a good chance she's not going home this week now that she has incurred this penalty. Word is she can't compete for HOH next week. By the way, Dani isn't even in the house for all this, she is on her trip and you can't blame her.

Here's where I think the essential difference lies between Dick and Jen's actions.

Look at it like a basket ball game - you can talk smack all you want but you can cross a line into getting physical and get a penalty.

Same deal with this game. So far, Dick has only talked smack, with the exception of one tea pouring. Jen crossed the line with hitting and destroying something of value.

If she did get a penalty nom, I'd think it's more likely because she was not abiding by her slop restriction more than the altercation with Dick.

I agree with many posters that if CBS can make a prank that destroy's someone's property (ever tried to get mustard out?) then they can't change the rules. The HGs have no idea that the mustard prank was an AC thing - as far as they know someone in the house targeted Jen's belongings and there were no repercusions.

Breaking the slop rule however is grounds for a penalty nom.

I wonder if Dick got his cigarettes back not because it is against the rules to destroy them but because no one wants to be locked in a house with him going through withdrawl from them. I know I'd be nominating myself the heck outta there.

I hope that the result of next week's penalty nom is that Jen is not voted off this week. ;)

I like Dick sometimes and Jen sometimes. I do not like how Dick acts when he calls ppl names like he does. But Jen seems to like how Dick yells at her or she would stay away from him, but she keeps going by him. I feel she likes to get attention so thats why she acts the way she does. Also wants to break records in the bb house. I do not think it right for anyone to destroying someone property also she breaking rules by eating food when she on slop the others on the block did not eat food when they was on slop. Is everyone forgeting that dick and jen had called a truce like 2 weeks ago. Dick was holding up his end of the deal. Jen just was upset because she thinks that they all did her dirty this week. In THIS situation yeah i think dick WAS innnocent. He was keeping to the truce and she got mad and destroyed his cigs. I agree that dick is really foul and i also felt bad for jen when he was cussing at her. BUT she acted first and this time dick wasn't doing anything to her. Also according to the rules you can hide but not destroy so he isn't breaking any rules. Finally, some post Dustin Drama. We all need to keep in mind that BB is changing rules to maximize ratings. 3rd Not very sure what DOR or Penalty Nom means or how it works. There have been a few things that I think folks should have been kicked out or penalized for. But they were because I was biased one way or another. I do think Jen should be penalized for eating when she knew she was not permitted. IMO this is a game violation. And tho I am not a big Jameka fan it seems she will be the one punished for Jens disregard of the rules. They will keep Jen to torment her another week if she has no real chance of winning HOH or POV. And Jameka follows the rules and loses.

I think Jen should be kicked off of BB for breaking the rules, hitting another HG and destroying someone else property, and not following the rules. She is on slop and she should not eat. It is not far to Jameka at all. BB kick her off and send her packing.

Jen has just lost it. why was she sitting on the couch outside right next to where Dick ALWAYS sits to smoke anyway, to antagonize...thats why. Dick, after putting his stuff in HOH room came outside, sat where he has sat for 53 days, lights a cig...she knew he would and got exactly the results she wanted. Jameka and Amber did the same thing a couple of weeks ago...Dick and Dani were sitting outside, Jameka came out and sat between them, she never said a word, but made it so they couldn't talk either, when D & D got up and went inside she followed and sat at the kitchen table, then when Dick gets mad and says something to them about it, he looks like the bad guy. They all taunt Dick trying to get him to cross that thin line he walks because they realize that it is the only way they are going to get him out of the house. I think that if Dick is allowed to be so incredibly abusive to Jen, then Jen has every right to destroy his property. Lemme see...destruction of property, fear for your life....hmmmm.
