We Have Visitors Dear!
I finally got home and caught up (I think) on today's happenings in the house. Why did I have to work today? Why I ask? I missed all of the afternoon fun with the visitors!
A midget (Mad Hatter?), a barbershop quartet, a man on stilts (dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow?), a trio of bunny rabbits, a human statue? Oh how I wish I could have been home today and been able to watch it all for myself. I knew something was going on because all of a sudden I checked my email and tons of you had emailed me. Thanks for having my back BTW! Just reading the subject titles were hilarious and at first I thought all of you were on some kind of psychadelic drugs. LOL
Here's a sample of the subject lines of some of my emails from y'all: Midget Dude, A Stranger In The House, Little dancing man is there, Zach is dancing with a midget, A snitch in time saves nine, Dudes singing about a rag, Dick's taller brother in the hizzah (one of my faves), Joe's a statue, Bunnies are Going To Multiply!, and many more. Imagine getting all of these emails (and more) with these kinds of subject lines all within an hour or so and you'd be laughing your ass off too!
So now that I've caught up with what happened, I have to say this. I'm totally confused. While hilarious (the mime from Season 4 was better overall I think), I have no idea what to make of things. All of those phrases the Mad Hatter kept saying over and over again? "A snitch in time saves nine" (and sometimes he would say stitch instead of snitch so who knows what he was really supposed to say), "What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive", "Three can keep a secret if two of them are dead", "There is no little enemy", "Fish and visitors stink after three days". Perhaps I haven't had enough time to digest everything. I really wish I could see more of the human statue's poses just because. If I'd been a hamster I would have done like Dick did and stood there forever until they had to practically drag me out.
And the bunnies? They had collars on that I read somewhere (can't remember where now) that seemed to resemble little POV symbols and they had playing cards on them. Of course all of this ties into the Alice in Wonderland theme this season but how exactly? And surely this will tie into tomorrow night's HOH competition? Or could today's events tie into something later?
Of course, I have YouTube to thank for catching me up and even more importantly the users that provided the clips. Hopefully if you missed the events then you'll find the links below useful as well.

So what do y'all make of these visitors? What do you think's going to happen and how will all of this play into the game? Who was your favorite visitor? And all of this in addition to all of the jockeying going on concerning Dustin and Dick when it seems that America voted to evict Dustin. Whoa.

Well, the little Mad Hatter at one point went to the memory wall and then pointed at the portraits and then to the coressponding houseguest in the room. He did that with everyone but Eric. Instead, the Hatter mimed that he couldn't find Eric's picture. I think this was implying that Eric isn't a real houseguest.
Eric later played this off after the event was done as the actor not being very good at his job.

Soooooo Confused
Posted by: nes at August 15, 2007 05:51 PM
Hilarious!!!!
The hamsters went scurrying into their think tank groups and proceeded to grasp at the most unlikely possibilities they could find to explain their visitors. Can't wait to see this on the show. I think there is going to a double eviction tommorow night:)_ Maybe Dustin will go then Dick will follow!
Posted by: stacy at August 15, 2007 05:55 PM
silly hamster stacey - dustin will go, then an hoh, then immediately amber will go

I think this is a PoV thingy. It leads to a HIDDEN PoV. Whoever solves the riddle will find the extra PoV which they could use any time over a particular period of time.
It could also be a special power to bring back an evicted houseguest in sequester.
I a pretty sure it is either of the two.
'A stitch in time saves nine'. Nine house guests. How does one "save" one from eviction? Through PoV!
JMHO :D

It was crazy HD! I was at work, working, and thought well I guess I should check in with the hamsters and see what's up. At first I just had the earphones on and feeds minimized and I kept hearing a strange voice in the background repeating "a snitch in time saves nine". I maximized the feeds and I could tell there was a strange vibe in the house. Then I saw that crazy midget walking around, and I was SCARED! WTF! I couldn't stop watching at that point, this little guy was bizarre. I heard later that Zach was the first person to see him, I know he was thinking "what in the world?".
I kept thinking OMG I have to tell HD, he he. I was so glad BB let us watch this, I mean, I was riveted to the screen, really afraid of what was gonna happen next! They had to wait for everyone to get up, go to the bathroom, etc., and in the meantime they were in lockdown.
Then they go outside and there is a barbershop quartet and a pirate on stilts! And the crazy little guy running around too. The HG's were just looking at these old dudes singing like what in the hell are we supposed to do with this? They clap when the quartet is thru singing then they go inside to bunnies in a cage and a moving statue. One thing I picked up on was he acted like he was shooting an arrow. And he went into the "think" pose.
I too can't wait to see this on TV! It was funny later listening to the hamsters trying to figure out what it all meant. Of course Amber didn't have a clue, jeez what a WEAK player. Good grief, BB must have been desperate for players.
Jameka and Amber suspect that Eric is making a deal with the devil and that Dustin may be going home. Jameka is just an angry young woman walking around that house and needs to go very soon. Her and Amber are just taking up space and have nothing to offer to any alliance. NOTHING, I tell you.
I wouldn't be surprised by a double eviction at all. Hell make it a triple and bring someone back, ha ha like JOE.

Wow, what a crazy and confusing day trying to find out who is voting which way while the circus was running!
I believe the 2nd song about Hairy was dealing with Dani and Nick. The "What is a lie, but the truth in masqerade," is about America's Player. The snitch can apply to several who go around telling secrets. Am Still working on the other clues. I think this will effect the next HOH comp if not the POV too.
Does anyone think Eric-Jess will go in with D&D?
Posted by: David at August 15, 2007 06:50 PM
I'm thinking about the numbers on the cards on the bunnies...1,5,9... have to do with 9 houseguests, 5 evicted houseguests, and the 1 is us...."America" the viewers. Do you think I'm stretching here?
Posted by: ~S at August 15, 2007 07:15 PM
I felt bad for the mad hatter, he seemed to be uncomfortable with his role in the events.

HD
I don't know what or how to put this to use but the statue posed like shooting an arrow. The little guy had a watch around his neck and the hands were arrows. The time was 9:30. One of the saying "a stitch in time saves nine". Maybe there is a clock in the house that will do something at that time they were given (12:38:47) similar to the year with the safe!
Posted by: Mykat at August 15, 2007 07:25 PM
ok my theory is we are dealing with 5 seperate messages...
1.The Cliche Midget: all of his sayings boil down to "Trust No One" yes even the fish and visitors one... if you get tired of your visitors you want them gone, they are all "guests"... maybe my calculations are off... but this seems like what he's saying to me.
2.The Quartet: I don't know about the songs... Ivory Rag could be a symbol for surrender but I don't see how that fits, the only thing that does make since to me is that it's a clue that only 4 of the 5 that believe they are in an alliance together are in harmony... 4 in Harmony... Jessica,Jameka,Dustin,Amber,'cause we all know Eric is not working towards what they want but what America wants... Only 4 of them are really working together. This again is my opinion of this clue...
3. The Stilted Pirate: This one is a bit harder... A tall pirate saying basically someone isn't what they seem. I haven't fully figured this one out... any suggestions???
4. The Bunnies: Ok I still haven't got a clue to this one, but notice the camera angles on the castle in the cage and the sign that said Friend Welcome with 3 bunnies on the sign, and 3 bunnies with cards around thier necks.... I saw an ace and a 5 of diamonds and a 9 of clubs (i think)... Still that doesn't help me much I really feel like I missed something with this clue or I'm looking to close...
5. The Human Statue: I know I'm missing something here... I didn't see everything he did so I can't really be sure what's going on with him. I saw the archery, the shhhh-ing motion and the thinking... but that just doesn't seem like enough for me...
So if anyone can expound on these theories please feel free, cause I could use some help..
Posted by: Brenna from texas at August 15, 2007 07:34 PM
Ok, I think the "snitch in time saves nine" means that if they figure out that Eric is America's Player they will get to boot him and save themselves or get something? Does that make sense? I def think that was directed at Eric. I think that is why the midget didn't acknowledge Eric's picture? If they figure out the twist about Eric it would be beneficial to them somehow.
But if that is the case they will need more clues, how would they ever guess. But Dani was close last week....
Posted by: bbfanindallas at August 15, 2007 07:38 PM
Ok the sign on the bunny cage said Friends welcome and didn't have 3 bunnies like I thought... and the mad hatter's clock reads 6:48?? it looks like, I found still pic's at aldav.com
just wanted to update my post...
From HD - There were 3 bunnies in the cage. You can see that in the videos.
Posted by: Brenna from texas at August 15, 2007 07:47 PM
There is no little enemy - That means whether you have a huge enemy or a slight enemy (meaning whether someone kind of hates or really hates you), an enemy is an enemy. If you take it a step further they could be talking about someone's physical stature. Eric perhaps?
However, I don't think Amber had a clue when she said she thought that "the midget was small and he was telling us he wasn't an enemy", hell no, way off base.
Posted by: bbfanindallas at August 15, 2007 07:49 PM
O gawd, Amber just said she has a "date" with Zach, please tell me this isn't another TELL ALL date! Poor Zach, but then again, isn't he the smart one, being sweet to the ladies. Dani just looks at him like he is in the wrong house, so he knows he needs to knock on other doors. LOL, can't wait to see this on Sho2, I wonder if he will cook for her too?
Posted by: bbfanindallas at August 15, 2007 08:30 PM
Oh HD....what is CBS THINKING....boring boring...
Remember way back when Cheryl Crow gave the HG'S a private concert....or when the Survivor cast came to help them out with a competition?? That was exciting and the House Guests enjoyed it.
I was bored watching the feeds...ok the rabbits were cute...everything else was a bore.
CBS should come up with something to entertain the Hamsters so they can entertain us.
Posted by: Deb at August 15, 2007 08:33 PM
Sounds like Eric and Jessica are plotting to throw Dustin, Amber and Jameka under the bus soon. Double eviction must be coming this week or they are going to reveal Eric's plotting or are trying to help the houseguests figure something out about Eric. Thanks for sharing all the clips of the days events. Looks like Zach is cooking up something for Amber tonight. You go dude!!! Hope she doesn't talk him to death like she did Mike (or bore him to death) though. I can't wait til tomorrow night!!!
Posted by: Jimmie at August 15, 2007 08:38 PM
Did you catch dick and Eric on the feeds? Dick trying to convince Eric to save him and join with hin and Daniele and bring in Jessica. Talking about them for the final four. Kind of throwing Zach and Jen under the bus after getting rid of jameka and Amber. Of course Dustin would be gone this week. Eric asking Dick why he should trust him but that I think is playing for guarantees. Eric to consider it but would be smart at this point to go for it. Make a deal with the Devil.
Posted by: absolon at August 15, 2007 09:00 PM
Wow...Dustin thinks the mime was trying to tell him something!!!! Really?!?!?! I would have never guessed that... I thought he was just there for sh*ts and giggles... silly me... :P
Posted by: ~S at August 15, 2007 09:05 PM
The three bunnies:
Of the HG remaining 3 of them had to wear the bunny costumes.
1) Zach
2) Jen
3) Dani
pertinent or not I dont know......

I think that, based on what I have read and have seen on AD, maybe CBS is giving up on the whole America's Player thing? I am sure they have heard it from America that America does not like the notion of America's Player. So, I think that, in some way, all of these things will ultimately lead to him being outed. And, I am sure the DR has let Eric in on this, which is why he has been downplaying it all. I think with all that has transpired, it wouldn't be fair to Eric for this AP charade to continue.
Posted by: Will at August 15, 2007 09:57 PM
I just happened to click on the feeds this afternoon to see what was happening...I see a little person running around the house and BB yelling orders for HG's to get up for the day...and what a day.
My theories on all the clues..Maybe it will be a memory competition..but maybe its clues to the wherabouts of a hidden power piece ( maybe that's what Dick stumbled on?)(RUMOR)
theory 1
The saying, Fish and visitors stink after 3 days- Ben Franklin is famous for this ($100 bill?)
theory 2
Sir Walter Scott said " what a tangled web..." his birthday is 8/15 coincidence ??? and he was famous for his Castle in Scotland called Abbotsville which looked like the castle figure in the rabbit cage ( another prize? trip?)
theory 3
the pirate said" always drink upstream from the herd" this is cowboy humor and it is the opening line of a song from the group Riders in the SKy (could be Writers in the sky- a banner?)
theory 4
the time on the clock could signify there will be 6 people on the 47th day which is Thursday?
theory 5
The barber shop quartet sang 5 songs two were repeated. Wild about Harry = Judy Garland song, and Ivory Rag-famous for "Joe" fingers car ( another pair of prizes or a reference to Joe the player
My kids are laughing at me but I love puzzles. Hope this thinking provokes some thought...hope Dick stays and Dustina goes. I think that the next HOH will have to put up their nominations immediately and we will have another eviction on Sunday...anyone for Amber or Jameka???
Posted by: shebart at August 15, 2007 10:00 PM
Did anyone notice on the BB Bunnies 3 video.. there are POWER OF VETO SYMBOLS IN OR ON THE CAGE??
Posted by: Tammy at August 15, 2007 10:22 PM
Its the 47th day, I'm thinking whatever is goine to happen will happen at 12:38, thus the time given of 12:38 and 47
From HD - It was 12:36 and 47 seconds according to BB. The time on the MH's clock was 6:47.
Posted by: Mykat at August 15, 2007 10:36 PM
Hilarious & surreal! Like a bad acid trip - something Dick might know something about (badda-bing!). Actually, Amber seemed to demonstrate a suprising clairty of thought in interpreting some of these "clues". The rest of the Hamsters seem pretty clueless.
BTW, even though I think Dick is obnoxious & a major a**hole, I'm rootin' for him. Mostly because the faux-soul patrol (Jameka & Amber) make me sick. I mean, Jameka praying that Eric (a Jew) "finds Christ" (I'm paraphrasing)? Ugh. Talk about arrogance. Sorry, Dick-Haters, but he had pegged from the beginning.
Posted by: Smelmo Puppyguts at August 15, 2007 10:47 PM
the pirate said 3 things
it is not enough to succeed, others must fail
and after all what is a lie but the truth in masquerade.
always drink upstream from the herd
i also saw the mad hatter point to each hgs pic except eric, and eric is clearly crapping his pants.....
the 'friends welcome' sign on the bunny cage....maybe former houseguests?
3 bunnies in cages, 3 hamsters left who were in bunny suits.
the 3 may keep a secret if two are dead, either means a double eviction.....or could refer to the five evicted.
there are six vetos in the bunny cage.....nine hammies.....hence 3 up for eviction if they play this....BEFORE LIVE SHOW.....and two will be eliminated....
thats my view on it....
i do think bb is trying to tell them about eric
Posted by: candy at August 15, 2007 10:52 PM
I really think this is some sort of memory game that will be used for the HOH comp. After watching it live and then watching the videos, I really can't make out any logical message they could be collectively sending. Unless infact, it really is several different ones. However, I am going to conclude that alas, it is a random display of images/vocalizations with no other motive than to provide a basis for questions to test ones memory.
Posted by: tim at August 15, 2007 11:50 PM
Could the pirate have something to do with Dick? Didn't Dick say that he was in the 3rd Pirates of the Carribean movie?
Posted by: amber at August 16, 2007 05:47 AM
I read it as it happened on Jokers.... All very interesting and I am loving it all... I so can not wait for the hours to pass today and the live show to begin! Hopefully it was make up for Thursdays humm drummm episode.
Ratings should jump up yet again too.
Only clue I got was also that they are hinting that Eric is not one of them.
Posted by: Marcia at August 16, 2007 06:25 AM
From the posts here, it seems like CBS might be trying to "out" Eric. I can't imagine why this would be unless an evicted houseguest is returning who knows Eric's secret?
Posted by: Peggy in Buffalo at August 16, 2007 06:58 AM
=[
If CBS is trying to out Eric.. that's just BS. Why would they?
And if another HG returns, I pray it isn't Nick. Ugh.
Posted by: kels at August 16, 2007 07:17 AM
Always drink upstream from the herd is an country group called "Riders in the Sky". I think this must be some clue tied into the banners that flew over. The songs on the album are:
Riding the winds of the west
the texas polka
take me back to my boots and saddle
after you've gone
the trail tip song
desert serenade
rawhide
the whispering wind
the first cowboy song
idaho
here are the lyrics to after you've gone
After You've Gone
(Henry Creamer/John Turner Layton)
After you've gone and left me crying
After you've gone there's no denying
You'll feel hurt you'll feel sad
You're gonna miss the best friend you ever had
There'll come a time (wah-oh-oh)
And you'll regret it
There'll come a time (wah-oh-oh)
You won't forget it
Some day when you're feeling lonely
Little heart's gonna pine like mine
You'll want me only
After you've gone (after you've gone)
After you've gone
After you've gone (wah-oh-oh)
And left me crying
After you've gone (wah-oh-oh)
There's no denying
You'll feel hurt (you'll feel hurt)
You'll feel sad (you'll feel)
You're gonna miss the best man you ever had
There'll come a time (there'll come a time)
When you'll regret it baby
There'll come a time (there'll come a time)
You won't forget it
Oh babe think what you're doing (wah-oh-oh)
The way you treated me
Will lead me to ruin
After you've gone (after you've gone)
After you've gone

Everyone knows CBS will make Eric tell that he's AP before it's over.
Posted by: sarge at August 16, 2007 08:55 AM
Wow I think you all have made some great guesses. my turn
"welcome friends" on bunny cage= returning HG for 3 days="fish + visitors smell after 3 days"
"Snitch in time saves nine= joe
So Joe is coming back for 3 days (next eviction)
But joe knows about Eric so CBS is going to tell the HG and Either him or Joe Must leave.
Posted by: boop at August 16, 2007 02:01 PM
Ok - just a guess...a snitch in time saves nine:
Eric is the snitch and nine could be Nick (13 HG's and he would be in the 9-spot based on when he was evicted).
