Daniele's Second Reign
So Daniele is the new Head of Household. You just know Jen will be hating it for a long time that she got that first question wrong in the HOH competition. And Dick is still so happy that he's just beside himself. I thought Amber did amazingly well last night and didn't cry nearly as much as I expected her to. Jameka did know for a fact that Dustin was going to be evicted ahead of time because Jessica told her before the show started.
I know I do not want any evicted hamster to come back in - especially Nick. I know I loved Jameka's fortune she received last night in their Chinese food: "You will soon be crossing warm waters for a vacation."
I know I can't wait to watch House Calls today because I want to see if any of the shock has worn off of Dustin yet. I know I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw that the letter Dani received was from Nick.
Nick, you seem to be a great guy but come on dude. You are off the show. Let it rest.
Who do you think Daniele's nominations are going to be? I'm hoping it will be Jameka and Amber. BTW, it seems that America wants Eric to get Amber nominated. ![]()
And what are your thoughts on things in the house right now?

I want Dani to nominate Amber. Get that weepy wuss out of there!
Dick is walking around the back yard alone saying "I can't believe I pulled it off."
Got news for you buddy......you didn't pull anything off, Eric did! If Eric hadn't worked hard on accomplishing his America's choice task, you would have been gone...deleted....disappeared!
I hope Eric is in the final two.

It's a whole new game. The dynamics are totally different.

First of all I would like to say that I have watched Big Brother since Season 1. Of all these years I know this has been the BEST!! WOW!!
Love the picture in the right margin - PRICELESS!!
Amber's dumfounded expressionless face - PRICELESS!!
Gosh I am so addicted this year.
Posted by: sherri at August 17, 2007 06:19 AM
I'm very happy with the way things are and hope they all keep to this alliance and that we see Amber & Jam walk out the door... I think he did do an excellent job in keeping himself in the house - reguardless who was campaigning for him he annoyed the h*ll out of them and they still kept him!
I hope JEDD has a long run in the house!
Posted by: Marcia at August 17, 2007 06:24 AM
finally the show gets interesting. the look on dustin, jam & ambers face just killed me.
i would love to see amber go next week. over her
HD can you explain why eric didnt mention he is america's player??
From HD - Eric didn't mention he was America's Player to Dustin because Dustin's going to the sequester house. And since he didn't tell Dustin, he won't be telling anybody else evicted. At this point, it's likely that they don't find out about the AP thing until after Big Brother is over and a winner has been crowned. LOL
Posted by: jude at August 17, 2007 06:35 AM
Buh-Bye Whameka, hope you both have fun w/ Dustina in sequester!!!!
HD, that picture is AWESOME! I had to rewatch the DVR several times to relish in that moment of ultimate surprise!!! The "KING" has been DETHRONED by the MAD HATTER (ED)!!!!
WOw...what exciting TV for us all!
Posted by: KylainTx at August 17, 2007 06:38 AM
Yea!!! I am soooo excited! I cannot believe that Dick stayed in the house. I Love It! And wow what a long deserving slap in the face Dustin received! This is absolutely great!
Posted by: Amber at August 17, 2007 06:40 AM
I look for Jen to be the target this week.. with Zack as a backup choice. Daniel stated to Eric she wanted Jen gone 1st. Not sure if they will actually put her on the block or do thier same on back door routine. Would be smarter to put her on the block to start with as chances are she will be playing for the POV antway.
As for the house right now..
Dani will be having fun again this week.
Dick will be gloating in his power.
Amber will be crying.
Jam will be praying.
Zack will be glued to Dani's side trying to save himself.
Jess and Eric will be plotting how they are going to get rid of Dick and Dani.
Jen will be playing the game the same as she has from the start. By herself for herself which seems to be working for her.

omg, just looked at the photo of dustin. LMFAO!!
HD thanks for the info. now it makes sense :)
Posted by: jude at August 17, 2007 06:54 AM
Weepy Woosie Whamber. How can you say she did pretty well last night? She didn't talk once without turning on the waterfountain (I think.) The gal needs a little professional assistance!
Posted by: Piehead at August 17, 2007 07:07 AM
Another thing!!! I am so sick of my company blocking important URL's that I need to access for BB. They make me boot down, go plug into the fax machine line and use dial-up!!!! They slow down everything.
From HD - That sucks!
Posted by: Piehead at August 17, 2007 07:09 AM
I am so happy to see the back of Dustin. The look on his face last night was indeed priceless.
I am all the way in Jamaica and like Americans I just love this show. I hope Dani nominates Jameka and Amber this week. Jam is a strong player and Amber doesn't deserve to be there, she is a wreck.
They need to look out for Jen she is way smart. I I hope that Dani and Dick, Eric and Jess are in teh final four.
Posted by: Sonya at August 17, 2007 07:13 AM
I can't believe they told Jameka before the voting, and I can't believe she kept it to herself! do you by chance have the shots of Amber and Jameka when the votes were revealed? I LOOOOOOOVE the one of Dustin! I am serious when I say that I waited the whole time since Dustin was nominated for the look on his face. All else was secondary to that moment LOL!!!I thought I was going to be disappointed, but Eric FINALLY came got the message and got on America's side wooo hooo! Now, I feel like for once in BB history, there are truly good choices from both sides of the fence to win it, though I am still rooting for Jess when it gets right down to it.
Posted by: beifiori at August 17, 2007 07:33 AM
I am loving this week. I just wish they would target Amber or Jameka instead of Jen as the person to evict. I'm hoping Jen wins POV. Yea I don't like her, but I like Amber and Jameka less!
Posted by: Suz at August 17, 2007 07:36 AM
Great show!!!! I LOVED the surprised look too, exactly what I hoped for! I actually thought that Julie shouldn't have asked Amber about her daughter on the live show, although it was nice for her to be able to say hi to her daughter, it just gave her a head start on the crying (I am a mom too and would have been emotional at that point). I am in agreement with the majority that Amber and Jameka should go up, I don't really care who goes, but if they get rid of Amber, Jameka still can't get HOH!
Sooooooo glad Danile won!!!
Posted by: laurie at August 17, 2007 07:38 AM
I hope that Dani hooks up with a guy. She is kinda hot.
Posted by: Eddie Wayne at August 17, 2007 07:41 AM
I still would like to see Nick return and
I am very happy Dani got a letter from Nick because she is happy about it.
You can be as judgmental as you want about other people and emotions, but unless you know all parties, you are not being realistic, and in either case, its not your place to judge them when its not about you. Dani eluded to some real problems with the boyfriend and it is to her credit that she does not elaborate on TV.
As for the house right now..
Dani will be happy most of this week and hopefully will not repay all of Jen's help with a nomination.
Dick will be saying every thing he shouldn't, to our entertainment and his and Dani's detriment. I like him but he needs to shut up about game outside of his group, it hurts them all.
Amber will be crying and hopefully leaving.
Jam will be regretting and blaming everyone but herself.
Zack will be glued to Dani's side.
Jess and Eric will be plotting and flirting.
Jen will be playing the game the same as she has from the start. In unison and alignment with Eric.
I am glad Dustin is gone because I see him as a source of the petty meanness to other people. He played people for their emotions as cruelly as anyone, but without a shred of compassion.

WOW! I dont think EVER in the history of BB have I been as happy I was lastnight...I flew off my chair and screamed so loud! ED & Dani prevail again! I would like to see either Waamber or Jameicka gone this week! But the house is definetly going to be alot more interesting now!
Posted by: Raine at August 17, 2007 07:56 AM
The house is now filled with a bunch of two party alliances; Dick & Daniele, Eric & Jessica, Amber & Jameka and if they're smart Jen & Zach. Logically it would be easiest to nominate Amber and Jameka, that keeps the rest of the house happy and there is no backlash because J & A are powerless. But it is not a power move. I think that Jen and Zach are at a point in the game that they have become very dangerous players because they can float between alliances. If they vote with Eric and Jessica, they win the vote and vice versa if they vote with Daniele and Dick. I think that Daniele should target Jen.
Posted by: NIkki at August 17, 2007 08:00 AM
OK let's not pat ourselves on the back too much Dick... this was ALL AMERICA. if we didn't love Dick TV so much, Dick would have been SO GONE!
The entire Saints and Sinners alliance (D&D&E&J) will roll over the rest, they're dummies. But i think Eric is on FIRE. He was discussing with Jess about when the best and worst times to win HOH were... he is a VERY smart player, despite haterish comments about his weasel status (and fickle America votes)
Posted by: kev at August 17, 2007 08:10 AM
I hope all those clue things come back on another show because they sure were wasted lastnight!
Posted by: shawn at August 17, 2007 08:12 AM
Dustins facial expression is absouletly priceless and hysterical if I may say so myself.
Dick succeeded in exactly what he wanted to do. If he makes it to the end, he deserves to win, dispite his antics in the house.
I think Eric should push to have Amber both put up and evicted. Although I don't see her winning much of anything, last nights HOH comp, was to close for comfort and she is the only one out of the alliance who can still win HOH
Aside from Jen, but she floats like a lifeless boogie.
GREAT BLOGGING HAMSTERDAME....YOUR THE BEST!!!

I agree, Nick & Dani trying to keep things alive while she's still in the house is rather sickening, of course it's really him not her. I still feel so bad for her boyfriend. :( I laughed so hard at Jameka's fortune & I'm thrilled that America & Eric are finally on the same page again. YAY for Unity!!!

I don't know if I heard it right but last night did they mention that Dani didn't have any pics of her and Chris in the room? Maybe that's why she got the letter from Nick? Chris may have dumped her?
Posted by: Beth at August 17, 2007 09:24 AM
well lets see i was watching the feeds last night, not a whole lot different than before. Dani must have really wanted the alliance between herself her dad and Jess and Eric. Dani and Dick were outside talking game. Dick wanted to tell Eric who they wanted to put up this time and what else they had in mind. Low and behold Dani wanted nuthing to do with telling the other half of their new alliance. She doesn't think they need to know. what exactly kind of alliance is this that they formed? Dick want to share information and Dani doesn't want to, imagine that. Doesn't sound to good to me.
So what is Dani's motives for not sharing information? Is the alliance for real or fake? How soon will Eric and Jess be put up on the block? I know Dick and Dani want Jen out this week, they were talking about putting up Amber and Jameka then backdooring Jen. tell me what u think.
The house really isn't much different, Amber is a bit lost, which is normal. Dani told her the first week is hard but it gets easier. Jameka is worried she's going up next, which she should be worried. Eric and Jess are in their own little world. Dick is himself. Jen is quiet, probably a bit worried. Zack well what can i say about Zack. He doesn't seem to be worried or much of anything, no problems. I don't see much difference in the house yet, maybe later today i will. I still think Dick should have left.
We had a big discussion at work about last night. Its about even between Dick and Dustin. A few people still think there's a chance to get Dick and Dani out. But they say it would have to be a suprise and they could not win the veto. Oh well lots to think about. I need to get some sleep. Good luck to all.
Posted by: tracy at August 17, 2007 09:37 AM
My feeling right now is *shrug* and just wait and see what happens. Game really hasn't gotten any more interesting.
With such a strong alliance, especially if they make it clear in the house they have teamed up, can be just as boring, if not more since we are dealing with a group of stronger players, as what was in place with the LNC.
Dick is likely to be more restrained, taking away the quality most people like about the guy, now that these people are jurors and basicly flopping fish waiting to be put down and filleted. Brow beating them really isn't necessary except to try and throw them off in a competition like little leaguers saying, 'Hey batter batter'.
Daniele unfortunately will still be hiding behind her dad but with her dad more restrained she won't be in whiny mode and with her alliance feel more free to interact with the house. Hopefully she won't go into any winning it all for Nick.
Eric for better or worse is America's Choice to advance Dick in the game. I think he will figure this out but is going to have to do really good at comps near the end or hope whoever is left after this week manages to get Dick out or he is going to be forced by America to take out Jessica.
Jessica may not totally agree with all the happenings but she hasn't gotten herself into the best position she can. She is my fave but these last few weeks make me worry a little bit about how she can be swayed about certain ideas whispered in her ear.
Will leave it at that. The other four may have some surprises in them somewhere and I hope they do otherwise I think it really will be boring until we get to the final four. The only thing that may not make it boring is if the four keep their alliance in secret mode and watch how they play the rest of the house, maybe some fake blow ups and what not, that may think it is a bunch of groups of two.
Posted by: wump_scut at August 17, 2007 09:39 AM
Nikki - sound logic. targeting Amber & Jameka wouldn't be the power move. As much as I'd like to see Jen make it to the final two, I think it makes sense for Danielle to go after her this week. I'm betting on Jen and Amber with Jameka or Zach being back door candidates, depending on who comes down.
Kev - Eric is a smart strategist and so is Dick, to his credit. The two of them seem to recognize that in the other. They could be a formidable duo, if they dropped the blondes! ;-)
Shawn - never fear. I'm fairly certain the clues will be necessary to win this week's POV. There were references to the POV with the bunnies, I thought.

Bitch got nothing!
LOVED IT!
I'm down with Eric again as he made the smartest move of the game thus far....but what is with his nude jumping jacks. Man, that just ain't right. *G*
As much as I would like to see Whamber go she's the weakest comp player and Jam totally marginalized herself by foregoing HOH comps, so they can wait. Of course there is always the danger that AP will force Eric to turn on Jess and the three LNC girls could be Eric's demise in the final vote as they will have time to compare notes and be influenced by the Princess in sequester.
However AP is a twist Eric can't control, so Jen should to go next, then Zach (the two floaters) as neither will be easily manipulated by Dustin.
BTW - Piehead, a word of caution; I'm a MIS and if I caught you booting down a company computer and using a fax line to access the web; you'd so be out the door.
From HD - For those of you that haven't seen the nude jumping jacks (LMAO) you can see them by clicking on the following link:

Hey HD. I love love love that picture of Dustin on the right. Hilarious. That was so funny that I had to watch it several times on my dvr.
Things are so different in the house now. I am with you HD on the letter from Nick. Hello, where is the letter from her boyfriend and she didn't even mention him in her blog when she was HOH the last time. Oh well, to be 20 again.
I am sure that Amber probably wants to go to sequester to be back with Dustin. I was really surprised at how reserved she has been, I expected her to be a weeping blob in her bed.
I am hoping that she puts Amber up with Jen with Amber going home. I don't think it's smart to put up Jameka since she still can't compete in 3 more HOH comps. Well, she could put up Jameka just so that she won't be competing for Amber in the veto and use it on her if she wins.
Posted by: Roz at August 17, 2007 10:14 AM
I think it is so hypocritical for everyone to focus on Dani's relationship with her boyfriend. After all she didn't live with him and she never said how stable that relationship was...only Chris did. The hypocrisy comes from Eric and Jessica having a relationship in the house. Jameka urged Eric to go up to Jessicas' bed when he was sick, but damned Dani and Nick to everyone who would listen. She wasn't the only one. There are a lot of people who have lied and still are about their relationships outside of the house. They need to leave Dani and Nick alone. As much as I wish Nick would come back, he couldn't because he knows about Eric, unless the producers make him a co-conspiritor which I don't think will happen. Or will they...

Im so happy dick got to stay. I pretty much knew that as long as him or danielle got the POV, they both had a good chance of staying since its obvious that hes Americas favorite house guest and we have eric do whatever is in the Donatos best intrests. Having said that my prediction is that Amber and Jameca will be put on the block. I believe that they really want Jen out but its smarter to have her not compete in the Veto competition cause weve all seen her win enough times to know she has a way of weasling off of the block. So I predict that Jen will be the first target(backdoor) with Amber being the second

This has got to be the best BB ever. Certainly raises great debates around my house since I and my sister are for Dick and Dani, while my husband is for Eric. He has redeemed himself for his previous statements and not pushing to vote out Nick when we wanted Kail to go. I'll be anxiously waiting for the next episode and the feeds. I do hope he puts up Amber, maybe Jamika will play more then. It's a shame she teamed up with that group anyway.
Wow how quickly everything turned around, and the look on Dustin's face was priceless. Thats what he gets for being so smug, and sure of his popularity.
Posted by: diana at August 17, 2007 11:56 AM
Great show but PLEASE stop showing Dick and Jameka eating...have they ever heard of table manners?...ED never closes his mouth while chewing and Jam stuffs so much in her mouth she barely has room to chew and then stuffs more in before finishing the previous bite...I played back the part of Dustin's expression several times to just love the look on his face..PRICELESS!!!
Posted by: SuzieQ at August 17, 2007 12:54 PM
I loved the show last night, no disappointments. When Dustin was voted out I jumped up and yelled Yahoo!! My husband, cat & dog thought I had lost it. Don't you just love the twists and turns of Big Brother? I am so glad I have been able to watch as much as I have & regret when I miss something but I can't stay up all the time!!!
Posted by: Jimmie at August 17, 2007 01:22 PM
OK. Eric is SOOOOO lucky. Thank God Dick approached him with the alliance bc if he had not, every single person in the house would be against Eric and he would def have been the next one out.
Dick approaching Eric for a new alliance with Eric and Jess, has saved Eric's ass. And I am glad. I am one of those who think Eric is the smartest player in the game.
BTW, I was a little surprised about Jess's answer to Julie when asked if there was anything going on with she and Eric? Jess replied that maybe after the game, but for now her mind is only on the game. It surprised me that she alluded to maybe after the game, I would have thought she would have thought more of him as a brother.
But for some reason I would like a Jess/Eric coupling way more then a Nick/Daniele.
I don't like the way Daniele is handling her romance with Nick on TV where her boyfriend (who she has said is handling her things and paying all her bills while she is gone) is being made a fool of. Granted I dont know her boyfriend, but I feel badly for him, he must be mortified, and very upset. If Daniele and Nick want to be together, fine, but they both should have the courtesy of not hurting the innocent person in all of this, esp on national TV. They should have enough class to do things afterwards, quietly.
On another note, I was on the CBS lot yesterday and walked past the BB house (I tried out for The Singing Bee, which yes, is on NBC, but filmed on the CBS studio lot). The house looks like a fortress, they have huge fences up so you really cant see much.
But I learned from someone who works on the CBS lot that after the banner was flown over the house, they now have heavy security against anyone doing that kind of thing again.
The same guy told me that he thinks that another banner was flown that said something like "Eric is America's Player" and that the HGs were told to disregard.
HD, if anyone knows if this is true, it's you.
Is it? And if its true, what was the HG's reaction?
From HD - We do know there were other banners flown because of what the hamsters have said on the feeds but we don't know what they said and according to the hamsters themselves they only know of them and haven't seen them. As far as I've heard (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) the only one they read was the one that was flown during the endurance HOH competition.
But I have to believe that if they had seen a banner that read 'Eric is America's Player', they (the hamsters) definitely would have started talking about it and Eric would have been voted out already.
Posted by: Tamara at August 17, 2007 01:57 PM
Awesome pic... it's still as funny today as it was last night. ROFL It's "wiping the tears away" funny...
I agree that the midget's quotes and all that were wasted on the HOH comp, if thats all BB uses them for. There was so much there to work with.
And btw what is with the nude jumping jacks. That's just... strange. And did Amber really tell him to do a few more or was I hearing things? Wow talk about desperate times calling for desperate measures... LOL
Peace out
Posted by: Brenna from texas at August 17, 2007 02:31 PM
HD regarding the Banners - HG's talking about a tarp was put up to block it?? haven't seen it but heard Ed & Zach (I think it was him) talking about it..
From HD - Yup. BB puts some kind of tarp/net over the backyard before the competitions in the backyard now. They started doing that after the banner during the HOH comp.
Posted by: Miss D at August 17, 2007 03:34 PM
the banner with "Eric is America's Player" never got off the ground. The pilot was stopped at the airport by CBS, according to TMZ. Legally he could have flown the banner but they did stop him and he states he will not take any legal action agains CBS as he has worked with them before and he also doesn't have the money to pay for the lawyers to necessary to fight CBS.
