So?

So what did y'all think about tonight's show? It was hard to make out anything in the POV competition. But even though I was upset the other day, I don't think BB just gave it to Janelle.

It definitely did look like quite a battle though. It would have been a better battle if it had been two men going after it or two women. I think, though, that since it was a man and a woman competing like that that James might have been wary of being too rough with fighting Janelle over it. Because you could definitely see her kick him during it and she was smiling the whole time. But oh well. The comp has been decided and we're not going back there.

It was hilarious watching Will and Boogie celebrate in HOH after Janelle won veto. And I sooooo wish Chicken George would get rid of those asinine getups for the shows. Occasionally is funny or interesting. All the time is just plain strange.

But anyway, what did y'all think?

The show was a little bit of a let down for me. I know the live feeds take a lot of the fun out of watching the TV show, but after all the outrage about the POV competition I was expecting something great.

I rewinded the TIVO three times to rewatch the James/Janelle "smackdown" and still don't understand what the big deal is. Yes, they got pretty physical but maybe I've watched too many violent "Survivor" competitions because it didn't seem like much to me.

The one thing I did notice was that James purposefully ran over to where Janelle was looking. He could have looked anywhere but was trying to probably slow her down and was shocked that a girl would go that hard core.

I enjoyed the Will/Boogie celebration and was shocked that Boogie really was helping Janelle in the competition. Other than Will and Boogie being true to each other, I honestly can't tell who will remain loyal to anyone else in this house.

This season has me so confused and the live feeds are no help. I guess I should be grateful, now maybe I can endure another season of "Lost."

From HD - I can't WAIT for Lost to start back up again! Same goes for 24! LOL

Posted by: gnomegirl at August 22, 2006 08:12 PM

I can't belive that BB let that go. Janelle clearly kicked James. He had the doll first. What would have happened if he kicked her. I am sure BB wouldn't just let that go. Just give Janelle the check, it is clear who BB wants to win.

Posted by: Nance at August 22, 2006 08:13 PM

I think Janie SO won the POV, fair and square. Maybe James did take it easy on her because she was female, but that was his mistake. In my opinion, Janie had her hands on the Howie doll and then went after the Marci doll, before James got his hands on it. I can say that I am an absolute Janie fan, so I probably am biased. LOL :)

I LOVED the show tonight!! My husband and I who both watch the show,(and he is totally a chilltown guy) LOVED the show tonight. I asked him after the Howie being evicted, Janie crying, and sad music how anyone cannot be a Janie fan? He said after this episode he does hope Janie makes it to the final four but he still hopes Chilltown takes the money. I love your site, it's the first one I check!

Posted by: rusty at August 22, 2006 08:13 PM

since i dont have the live feeds, i have been cheating reading your site HD before the show airs :) i cant help myself. i thought it was a fairly good show even with knowing the outcome. i have to admit i was howling over will & boogie in the HOH room. i do think janie is one bad ass player. i hope she can stay long enough to get rid of stupid erika. i am so over her.

Posted by: jude at August 22, 2006 08:31 PM

I'm mad about the POV comp. But it's weird. I think that they have the dolls mixed up! Because like I was like hardcore up close on the tv watching the dolls when she dropped one and I saw her drop the second one she grabbed I think she still had the one her and James were fighting over. But I don't know. I deleted it because I don't want to get myself all worked up over it. LOL

But yes, it was a very interesting show tonight. LOL

Posted by: Kelsey at August 22, 2006 09:01 PM

We taped the show and watched this evening. We must have put the tape on rewind at least 4 times. It clearly showed James and Janie fighting over the Howie doll and she did take it out of his hands. However, when Janie went for the Marci doll, James was still reaching across Janie for the Howie doll! She won fair and square! Now we know that BB had a good camera angle - they even labeled which doll was which! I would pay top dollar to see James' face when he watches the tapes for himself!

Posted by: Bailey K at August 22, 2006 09:15 PM

Bailey K is right!! He was reaching for the Howie doll. I kept rewinding just to make sure what we were seeing!! James will twist it somehow I'm sure!!

Posted by: Looney at August 22, 2006 09:27 PM

I must be in my own world. Let me describe it for you and see what you think. On the live feeds, James spent an hour in the DR and came out saying that they wouldn't show him a tape of the event because they didn't have a good angle. He claimed he was robbed, it was fixed etc. etc. He then went to Danielle and Erika and gave them his version of events...That he had the M doll in his hands and it was ripped away from him, and to prove it "thus the fingernail scratch on my thumb". Not getting much confirmation on his version he then went to the HOH with all but Janie and CG and continued his story where B and W just fed his anger and agreed with him to the point of Erika calling for a House meeting and Danielle not being able to continue till she saw the tapes. Switch to tonights episode where it clearly shows them fighting over the H doll while the M doll was on the ground. Upon realizing this Janie grabbed for it before James and took off back to the Idol to sacrifice. During the scuffle Janie fell backwards and her leg went up in the air where it "kicked" James. After listening to him for two days whining and complaining and calling Janie every awful name he could think of, I was expecting to see him get robbed. What I saw, solidified in my mind just what a whining, crying, lieing, baby, sore loser that James really is. I'll bet they showed him the same tape we saw tonight and he still claimed he grabbed the M doll first. Like I said, that's the reality in my world, not James'.

Posted by: azdodger27 at August 22, 2006 09:40 PM

I was so glad to see the replay of the Marcellas doll issue, it clearly shows who won.

I was also very excited to see that Jani was "playing" a part in furthering her own game. Who said she was only good at comps? LOL

Love the showmance between Will and Janelle, it fills up a lot of downtime on the live feeds.

Good bye James!

Posted by: Caolin at August 22, 2006 10:10 PM

Well, after all the turmoil about this POV before we even saw a single shot I have to say "anti climatic". Yep, they fought over a doll. Yep she grabbed and kicked and he yanked and fell and called foul. I'm with gnomegirl - it's no worse than lots of tussles I've seen on survivor.

So, moving past that non event, tonights show had some good points and some annoying points.
+ Jani and George swapping stories
+ Jani trying out a new strategy - let them think you are weak.
+ James recognizing the strategy
+ James feeling a little bad that people he knows outside this game got hurt by the way he chose to play.

- lots of Mike Boogie time.
- editing of Janie's crying melt down to appear after she loses HOH - this made her look like a really bad sport. Now, I know a lot of posters feel CBS is rigging the game to keep her in, but do you think they are also making her out as the villian? When Kayser left Julie showed him video to trash Janie, When Marci left Julie worked in a Janie dig, When Howie exited again with the anti Janie. CBS you don't have to cast them in roles for us. That's our job and frankly I don't like being patronized to. (I also disliked all the air time about George snoring).
- too much Erica. And ouch is that girl ever going to fall hard with CT cuts her loose.

So, if things play out the way they are trending and James goes home how much fall out will there be? Or is CT just playing with us yet again? James is so smug about his safety that it would make for good tv to see him realize his mistake.

And what will Dani, Janie and CG do? Did CT make Janie enough of a target or will she finally see the light of day and break them up?

There are lots of opportunities for new alliances. Even if they are only visible from the outside.

At least it is going out interesting.

Posted by: verity at August 22, 2006 10:12 PM

The kick was incidental contact as Janelle fell backward as James backed off from her. It looked like Janelle had possession of the Howie doll, at least I think a basketball ref would have awarded her the ball without calling a foul. It was very hard to tell though.

What was clear was that James was lying his ass off when he said that he got to the Marcellus doll first and Janelle took it out of his hands. That clearly wasn't the case. James did not get close to touching the Marcellus doll, let alone have possession of it.

I think James got off lucky that the producers did not show the extent of how childish he acted after losing, with all the claims of the show being rigged, his bashing of Janelle as a cheat, his attempts to berate the other HGs into backing him up, and his general pissy attitude that ran on what seemed like for days.

Posted by: scott at August 22, 2006 10:19 PM

Ya know, I just can't let this drop. There was so much talk that BB had no good camera angles to replay for James, to back up his claim about what had happened. Then, lo and behold, on tonight's show - a great camera angle!
Didn't anyone watch this in slow-mo!?
When they are fighting over the first doll, Janelle says that James took it so she went for the "M" doll instead. But, Janelle clearly had the FIRST doll in her hand. James did not have a doll, that's why he was still reaching for the supposed "H" doll. If Janelle had the first doll, then wouldn't she be holding on to the 'Howie' doll??? (That is, according to BB's labeling of the dolls.)
James may act like a big ass, but, I believe he does have a legitimate gripe about this one.

First the re-do of Hoh, where Jani and Will were allowed to play after already being eliminated for wrong answers (which had Nothing to do with light/buzzer problem), now this...??
It just ticks me off that so many Jani fans don't see the obvious bias on the show. Yes, wish for your favorite to win. But, the cheating? I liked Kaysar, but, if the show was rigged for him to win, I think I would lose a lot of respect for him, and the show. I think Jani IS a tough competitor, and does very well in competitions, BUT, now I am really beginning to wonder if SHE's actually that good on her own, or if it's because of some 'behind-the-scenes' help????
If BB wants a certain player to win, the least they could do is to make it a little less obvious!!!!
As for myself, I am done with BB.

Thanks for letting me vent HD!

Posted by: mj at August 22, 2006 11:23 PM

Janie won the pov ... no question. I watched it in slow motion and James never even touched the M doll. He tried to reach around in front of Janie but she held it out and he couldn't take it from her. When she said "give it to me!" he said "take it." (because it was the H doll) She did sort of kick him in the arm during the struggle. I would love to see James' face when he see's the tape as well. He'll probably say "see!" As if he were right!

Posted by: Angie at August 23, 2006 12:36 AM

This comment isn't about the show, but the fact that for several hours tonight (Pacific Time) they only showed sleeping houseguests when Will and Jani were still up and talking. It was frustrating as hell not to see what the heck was going on!

Sorry HD, just venting that my late night viewing was blocked by watching people sleep!

Posted by: Caolin at August 23, 2006 01:04 AM

When I saw the POV I thought that James was totally wrong. To me it looked like He and Janey went for the same doll, but I didn't think that Janey went too far. They were both pretty aggressive because they both REALLY wanted the Veto. It definitely looked like they were fighting over the one doll and then she noticed the other doll. She clearly had the second doll when James reached for it. (James never even had a hand on the second doll.) I think that she won it fair and square.

I thought that the supposed kick was not puurposeful. It really seemed like she just fell back in the struggle for the doll and accidently hit him.

I think the producers were totally right.

BTW...I like both Janey and James.

Posted by: Pam at August 23, 2006 02:19 AM

YES to 24 and yes to Lost....

as for the Vito James made a big thing about nothing... two adults grabing for the doll the H doll the M doll was hers clearly... she had it and moved it before he even grabed it... so she didn't take the winning doll from him... he never had it... that is what the show was showing.... Poor James... Vito King got his #$% kicked by a girl.... did you see the wound... ooooh pooooor baaabbby

Posted by: Linda at August 23, 2006 02:48 AM

I liked when Will was in the diary room and he was saying that he was the one "fixing" things in Janelle's favor. I have never been a huge fan of Will's, but last night, I think I fell in love! He is really smart. And I know that sounds juvenile, but the way his mind works just blows me away. I honestly have no idea how this thing will play out. I am really confused. Janey is smart not to completely trust Chilltown. Everybody is using everybody! But that's the name of the game, isn't it? As far as James in the POV comp...sigh...he is being a big baby!

Posted by: Amber at August 23, 2006 05:46 AM

Things that make you go HMM!

Did they show James the tape and he kept complaining knowing he was wrong?
Did they not show James the tape telling him that their camera didn't catch that angle?
Did they edit the tape that was shown of the POV competition?
Did Janie cheat ( she really needed to win the POV)?
Is James just mad because he lost(he's not known for being honest)?
Answers none of us will ever know for sure.

Posted by: Granny at August 23, 2006 05:49 AM

I saw the veto comp and it was what it was. Many people have already commented on that. What I couldn't see was big crybaby James' wound. What the hell was he holding his hand up to the camera in the DR for? You'd need a 3200x microscope to see that scratch!

What no one else has commented on is Erika's self-assurance when she strolled into the HOH room. She really thinks she is an integral part of the CT alliance. Well, E, so does everyone else and they are being picked off one by one. I do hope she is being played by CT and I can't wait to see her go down.

Posted by: CanFan at August 23, 2006 05:56 AM

James did not get kicked. He got grazed by Janelles foot. When he reached out and front of her and they both had the doll. Janelle had her hands over head trying to hold onto it when he rolled her over onto her butt during the struggle and as she was rolling, her leg snapped up and grazed his arm. Geez from all the ranting and raving I was expecting her to have kicked him square in the knee cap. But that wasn't the case at all. If anything Janelle got beat up a titch worse then poor James. Sorry James fans!

GO CHICKEN GEORGE!

Posted by: GRGIRL at August 23, 2006 06:07 AM

IMHO, I think Janie kicked James by momentum. With the momentum of her rocking backwards on her back in order to get back up to her feet, she rolled back a little too far and incidentally bumped James with her leg. I'd hate to see/hear James boo-hooing after a rough night in the sack! What a weak little boy...............

Posted by: Riagogogoindanati at August 23, 2006 06:22 AM

Ok, did I watch a different show last night. Why is everyone so focussed on Janelle kicking James. Ummm clearly it was not on purpose, when she fell over her leg went up in the air and hit him. It was not a controlled kick that she thought about doing. And if he wanted that doll bad enough he could have just snatched it out her hands. James has been playing the field as usual, walking around knowing he is safe, well now your not. He set his own fate when he handed the pov over to Danielle, now he has to live with the consequences of his own actions. BYE BYE JAMES

Posted by: Barbie at August 23, 2006 06:25 AM

The funniest quote from last night's show came from James. He said,"In the outside world, when someone takes a doll out of your hand, it's called assault."
I guess I need to watch more recent episodes of Cops. How often has James seen this happen?

Posted by: pinhead at August 23, 2006 07:09 AM

I just have to say ... in reading all of these posts the past few weeks, it is amazing how many Will-haters have converted to falling in love with him (and I am one of them!). He is the MOST charismatic personality I have seen come to Reality T.V. in a long time! I totally love the WillBoogie celebration after Janelle won POV. It was the highlight of the show next to James whiney-ass complaints in the DR after his and Janelles little fight ... which amounted to his just being a sore loser.

My favorite Will moment was the, "I will make a better, faster Janelle ..." comments in the DR --- He is so dreamy! Look what you've gone and done, HD! This is all your fault, too! ~lmao~

From HD - :)

Posted by: Cutefemmegirl at August 23, 2006 08:08 AM

IT was a great show!! I have been a Will fan from the start but have come to love janie as much. To thoes of you who think she kicked James watch it again, he leg did make contact but it was the result of there fall back not something she did on purpose.

That said I hope Will wins he was the only winner in the house he should have been the first to go. He is playing the same game he did in season 2 didnt these people watch? He deserves the money for that fact alone.

Posted by: Jennifer at August 23, 2006 08:27 AM

Ok 1st let me just say I was disappointed on the show last night. Here I thought I was going to see this great struggle/fight/assult during the PoV between Jani and James but what I saw was so weak. Puuuleease! James you're such a big crybaby. Janie foots barely even hit him and Jani said he tackled her... I didn't see no tackle. By how they both went on and on, mostly James went on and on for days, I thought it was going to be this big thing. What I saw was James throwing himself on top of Janie and trying to take a doll from her hand. THen he making her rock back and her foot fly into the air and barely graze his hand/arm and then Janelle letting go of the doll and seeing another doll and rolling away from James. THAT'S ALL!

So disappointed. Here I thought I was going to see James tackle Janie, like if they were playing football, then both rolling on the floor followed by James getting a doll and trying to get to the stone but Jani kicking him, karate style, and having him fall on the floor slow motion while Janie snatched the doll from his hand and b*tch slapping him for being weak. Then Janie realizing that it was the wrong doll and would find the right one and then run to the stone and win PoV. (But that's how they made it out seem like. ) Now that would've been great television moment.

I laughed so much when Will made fun of James and said Janie kicks his ass. Will cracks me up!!

Posted by: Vesta at August 23, 2006 08:30 AM

OMG Pinhead - you're right and pretty funny too!

Posted by: Piehead at August 23, 2006 08:31 AM

The comp where Erica knocked the heck out of George on the pedestal early in the show was 100 times worse than James and Janelle's effort to get the doll.

Besides, who said the comps could not be physical? A lot of them do have some physical moments (eg. spider web, the big ball thing, etc).

Frankly, I hope James is GONE. I did not like him last season and like him even less this time. Can't wait for it to be over and for Marci and James to see that Janelle was loyal to them as far as the game goes.

Posted by: millibeau at August 23, 2006 08:49 AM

I think James was really a weenie over that game. They were fighting for the same thing, she was there first and he was trying to knock her out of the way. If he hadn't done that, nothing else would have happened. I also don't think she kicked him on purpose. She fell and her legs went back. Be a man and quit crying. I'm not saying this because I like GI Jane, but he was just flat out being a wus.

Posted by: MrsH at August 23, 2006 09:36 AM

James has been fun to watch this season as he has absolutely no ethics. He's an amoral chameleon who does/says whatever he needs to get along. He's the kinda guy the Enron execs would have loved.

Posted by: BJ at August 23, 2006 09:48 AM

I think they should do it again, James is not happy and I think he is being cheated out of a chance for POV. Janelle keeps pushing the limit and getting away with it. This is not right the same as when Howie was complaining, it was done again and so should this one or better still if James gets evicted, Janelle should take his place as she clearly did cheat James in the game.

Janelle fans should be a little better than the contestant and prove they are fair. Do it again, or replace James with Janelle and give him the POV.

Posted by: Trudy at August 23, 2006 10:37 AM

Trudy- for you to even suggest that means you probaly think James is an ethical person. I watched it in slow motion James never ever put his hand on the Marcellous doll. They were fighting over the wrong doll and when she realized it went for the right one. That was it plane and simple.

Posted by: Raeh at August 23, 2006 11:18 AM

Honestly, when two people fight over a doll in the real world, it's not called an assault. Usually the preschool teacher puts the children in "time out". (It never normally happens with adults). I never heard the instructions say anything about physical contact not being allowed. Therefore, James has no legitimate beef. He should have hugged Janelle and congratulated her.

If the house does not unite together against CT, they are going to be picked off one by one. I think CT is going to get rid of the men first. It's easier to work their kind of con on women.

Posted by: Sandi at August 23, 2006 11:35 AM

All I have to say is James you are a WHIMP. Waaaaaaaaaa she's got my dolly! He must have been a thumb-sucker when he was a child.

Posted by: Frankie at August 23, 2006 11:42 AM

First off, let me say that I'm a "James" fan, or I was one until this week. Amoral play in a game like this is to be expected, James was good at it, and when done with style, ala Will, awesome to watch, but downright b|tchy whining, pouting, stomping of feet, and verbal abuse is not something to be admired.

To those James fans who insist, even after watching the replays, that he was cheated; What TV Show were you watching????????????

We have a HUGE TV, and watched that replay a bazillion times. James never touched the "M" doll once. Never laid a hand on it. Seemingly didn't even see it in his urgency to get the "H" doll. And in fact, clearly, CLEARLY said to Janelle, "Take it" (speaking of the "H" doll). Janelle saw the "M" doll and rolled for it. WELL after this, James also noticed it and tried reaching around her front to grab it,

But. He. Never. Came. Close.

I lost all respect for him this week due to his endless whinging and somewhat violent over reaction at least verbally, and to my regret, hope he goes on Thursday.

It's a shame.

BTW HD, love your blog. You have terrific writing skills, even when I don't agree with you. Keep up the good work.

From HD - Thanks! :)

"Janelle fans should be a little better than the contestant and prove they are fair. Do it again, or replace James with Janelle and give him the POV." WHAT?

I am/was a James fan up until last night and not a very big fan of Jani's. James has always been a little questionable but last night just made me want to puke! James is a bitch and the way he acted last night forced me to re-think my favorites list.

It was so obvious that James never touched the Marci doll expect to reach around Jani and try and take it from her. Watch it again, you may have missed it. AND, Jani did not intentionally try to kick James.

I'm not a Jani fan but I saw what I saw. I hope James is evicted just because of his stupid, pathetic, big baby, gonna whine and cry my bitch @$$self to sleep, about being beat by a girl....wussy @$$!

P.S. Will is just becoming too cute and I couldn't stand the little fartknocker when the show started! ;-)

Posted by: Linnell at August 23, 2006 01:01 PM

Last nights show should put to rest anymore talk of the show being rigged for Janelle to win. I call that the conspiracy theory. Before anyone saw the game being played everyone was calling for a re-do or a disqualification of Janelle. This goes to show, see what you're talking about before you jump to conclusions.

As soon as people found out Janelle won veto. They were so sure yeah it's being rigged. Then you watch the show you see CT had rigged it. Even though towards the end it still took Janelle being the bad ass competitor that she is to bring it home. Some people are just competitive, Is golf being rigged for Tiger Woods or was basketball for Jordan? Just to say that some people are very competitive and fight hard when they know it is do or die time.

It is a shame that some people even after seeing the footage dislike Janelle so much that they can't accept what was right in front of their face. It was obvious that she did not kick him on purpose. I don't even think you can call it a kick seeing as though it was incidental.

The reason why the game will not be redone is because regardless of the fight over the Howie doll, that would not have changed the outcome of the game. The Marcellas doll was the right answer and as other said James clearly tried to snatch that from her but couldn't. What makes you think he wouldn't have snatched the Howie doll.

Posted by: Donya at August 23, 2006 02:23 PM

I think James' whole thing about wanting a redo is that he can't stand the fact that he got his ass kicked by a woman......

Posted by: Marie at August 23, 2006 03:34 PM

I think people get so blinded by hate that they cannot see straight. The veto situation was clear and she won fair and square. I just think people need to really examine why they hate her so much. I mean after all this is a game and there is no one here that can say she does not play this game competition wise to perfection. See people forget 1/2 the game strategy and half the game is competitions. Janelle even admitted herself last night that she does not make the best decisions strategically. She knows if her butt is on the line how to win. I truly thinks James was upset because the VETO KING has found out that Janelle is the VETO QUEEN. He was outplayed by a girl and based on his personality and how he reacted he is just embarrassed but will not admit it. So he will whine about it instead.

Posted by: Raeh at August 23, 2006 03:46 PM

I too was expecting a major "battle". All I got was a wtf? It was a clear case of Janie had it first (the marci doll). James has brought whining to a new low.

And I thought I couldn't be anymore of a fan of Will's until last night. He is awesome!

Thank you for taking the time to write that out... you are so right and I could not have said it better myself. Thank you for your comment it made my day, lol!

James is a whining little baby that can't take the fact that he lost to Janelle the Queen Bee, he is so jealous of her it makes me sick!

To HD- love your site, love your blogs you ROCK! I am always so excited when a new blog is posted, keep up the good work!

I loved watching Janie win !! The girl has won more comps than anyone in the house so far. She is a true bad a**.

Now about James : The guy complains about EVERYTHING ! I'm just like what? Does he buy the stuff he feeds us. Janelle clearly got the M doll before he did. Sorry James to slow :) Can't wait to see you really cry on Thursday.

Now about will ... I hated him so bad ! Now I just love every word that comes out of his mouth. OMG him and Janie should so get married and have perfect little babies, JK lol. I really wish he would drop that booger guy and take Janelle and CG all the way, but that's just in my little dream world. I know he would never do that, or would he ... wink wink :)

Hey HD: Thanks for the best blog out there !! I know we have not agreed on alot of stuff, but I really do check this site out first. I can always count on you to have all the stuff up to date. Thanks for taking the time that you took to help me out. :)
