I always enjoy reading other people's outlook on things especially since, for the 1st time since BB started, I did NOT subscribe to the feeds.

However I just don't feel bad for her or want her to win or anything. But to call people names because they don't like her is so stupid!!! I try not to sound like I am being rude but when it comes to some of the players in the game it is hard to keep your anger in check. I find it very frustrating when I have to go through the comments a couple of times, mentally inserting my own punctuation, because people are to lazy to write it correctly so it is understandable to others. It's very annoying when initials are used for everything e.g "J/E were talking in BY" or "B/J/CG were blah blah blah" I have to read through the conversation to know if they are referring to James or Janey (Janelle).

I don't mind shortening a persons name like Dani or Janey (Jane/Jani) but please lay off making up your own shorthand, that is unfamiliar to other posters, so that someone who has missed reading the comments for a couple of days doesn't have a clue what you are talking about. I have noticed over the last few days that it is getting worse (even on other blogs) and people are getting very po'd about it.

I read things like "Jamesth thcould wisth thuppon a thstar" annoying. The first time I read it I was like "What the hell does that mean?" I had to read further before I realised that the comments were referring to James' lisp. Grrrh!

HD, I am sorry to hear that you are getting "hate" mail sent to you from Silly Hamsters posters. I think that the love/hate postings sometimes go way to far when people become completely close-minded about allowing others the same respect of giving their opinions, that they themselves feel it is their God-given right enjoy.

Sorry for the rant HD but you aren't the only one who finds this annoying. ;o)

Cancelled my live feed last week after the HOH redo! Janelle should not have been in the redo because she DID miss a question! After reading about the POV, whith James and BB not having a proper angle to make a judgement....sounds like this BB is slanted to favor Janelle. OK BB go ahead and give her the $$ on live tv and get it over with. Your viewers are losing trust in the show!

I have been reading your site for 2 years and this is my first year posting my observations.

This is the only time that i've noticed your impartiality and I thought it was rather refreshing to know you have your favorites too.

Ignore the inmature folks that take things so seriously, they forget it's only a game.

As for typing skills; some of us one finger peckers "know not what we do" so please forgive us our sins. I thought if I didnt separate my paragraphs there would be more room for other poster's opinions. My bad. As for those capitals commas, etc. it took me 45 minutes to compose this post. Do you realize what you are doing to "we" the non typers?

Sorry to hear you are still feeling the All Star bashing blues HD. Maybe it's just the heat.

Personally I come to your blog to see what other people are posting and thinking. Last year I know the sheep fans felt like a minority but that doesn't mean they didn't have a point of view and an enjoyment of the show. How boring would it be if we all liked the same things?

I often find myself looking at things from a different angle after reading someone elses post. Like James, he is not my favorite hamster, but he is also not a big villian. He's trying to win the game and at the end of the day that is what they signed on for. Not to be best freinds, nice to each other or display good manners. Win that money any way you can is the BB motto.

From our outside perspective we often want to see players we feel are "worthy" win rather than those who manage to play their way to the end any way they can.

Jonny Fairplay will never teach classes on sportmanship or fair play (ironic isn't it?). But he was a good scout, he came prepared to win, even if that meant lying and deceiving.

James will never teach "how to loose with grace and charm" but that does not mean he is a bad player. I might even be able to cheer for him more if he didn't have such a potty mouth and talk such trash about other players. It's not that he slams Jannelle that annoys me, it would annoy me just as much if it was Dani or Will he was slamming like that. Some times I let my annoyance with that blind me to the fact that he has a perfect right to make alliances out side S6 - heck he needed them to survive past 4 from day 1.

To those sending vile messages to our hostess, please stop it. Visit a site that agrees with your opinion. I promise there is one out there. Every hamster has a site that likes them.
Silly Hamsters doesn't guarantee to be impartial and HD doesn't have to post threads that don't interest her. I'm just happy she lets us all visit at all.

I like hanging out with you all and sharing our views. Chatting with people who don't feel watching BB is a waste of time or odd. Lots of my freinds don't get why I enjoy it. You guys do.

Hi HD ~~ I love and appreciate your site, also. The funny thing is that even though I am a Janelle/Kaysar/Howie fan ... I still enjoy your posts about ALL the other HG's. I have even found myself liking Will - which I never in a million years thought would happen! I even wish neither Will or Janelle had significant others because I would love to see them hook-up in real life ... their banter and flirting is adorable!

I'm sorry, but if people don't like your site, they do not have to come to it. Personally...I enjoy coming to your site to see what you have to say. I do not always post, but I can "see" your take on things. I guess that is the maturity in me. I live by the motto "if you can't say something nice, don't say it at all" and I usually stick to that motto. My mouth has gotten me in more trouble than anything.

I appreciate you taking time out of your life and posting like you do to this blog. I could not do it. I could not show the devotion that you show. As said above, I am a fellow Texan and it is nice to know I am not the only one who is stuck on the show.

I have loved this blog since I first logged on to the live feed. I can find out everything I missed when I wasn't watching. The other blogs highlighted on the Big Brother Home are good but they are not up to the minute. I think that you should be able to post what ever you want and I have not noticed at all that you don't put people on that have a different opinion than you.

I know this is off the subject but I heard people talking about redoing the POV. Have you heard anything more about it. I am thinking that with all the cameras in the back yard they have to know for sure if there was a problem.

Kudos to the statement above about punctuation and spelling. If I get a message that isn't spelled right, isn't gramatically correct, and is one long block, I won't read it. If it's not important enough for the writer to take the time to write it properly, it's not worth my time to read it.

As far as unbridled fanaticism, chill out people. It's a show, it's a game. I too was a SO6 supporter, but they got too big for the game. I'm now enjoying watching them get picked off one by one. Hated Will and Boogie at the start. Still don't like them. But ya know what? They've flat out played the game the best. Give em the money. Unless somehow George makes it to the end and gets the sympathy vote. But I don't see that happening.

I've watched all Big Brother seasons, but last year got the live feeds and your blog. How fun it was to jump into the Maggie vs. Janelle warfare. I never asked anyone to agree with me, nor did I agree with EVERYONE either, but it was fun to share info and ideas about our favorite players. Thank you for that.

But all this hate for another persons opinion is rediculous. We are watching people play a game, for heaven's sake. I do not know one of the players personally, so really, it's crazy to get so into it that your opinion is the only one that is right. Crazy.

What, someone writing something negative because they don't agree with you regarding their favorite houseguest? I can't believe it.

I have noticed a recurring theme of people getting tired of reading threads about BB because some couple o' thousand people can't seen to grasp that this is just a game for one, they aren't gonna share in the half million with their fav hamster secondly and IT'S YOUR SITE AND YOUR OPINION.

If they want one that shows favortism towards one person all the time then do do. I have to be honest I come to this site to read what you have to write about the days events, the constantly read about "oh how can you all hate Janelle", "oh Janelle is a ho", "oh, you all are just jealous of Janelle is tiring. And that is where the fun has been taken out of posting your comments anywhere some peeps are just behaving as is they know these people personally.

Firstly, I would like to say that I have always enjoyed your site even though we disagree on most everything except for dreamy Dr. Will. That is, until recently. Yes, I will have the guts to tell you that I haven't been posting here for awhile due to the increasingly aggresive comments you've made at the tail end of certain peoples posts.

I agree that it is your blog and am horrified that people have been sending you hate mail, for that is really unforgivable and I'm not one of those people as you would know. I chose just not to post anymore until now. I still frequent your site, but have been loath to post because I didn't want any aggresive or nasty comments by you at the end of my post.

However, I didn't realise that maybe it was due to the fact that you have been bombarded with hate mail and are possibly frustrated with this, so I do understand. The more adult thing to do is what you said.....go elsewhere. I seem to be in the minority with my "Janiac" tendencies and was a little overwhelmed with the hatred from your posters on this subject. It seems to have gotten quite vicious and I chose not to participate in hatred.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions as it is a free country, but I agree, we need to be more respectful. I have not believed you are only posting the comments that suit your agenda, I just believe that people that have differing opinions than yours are feeling the same way I am.

Another thing, I have repeatedly posted about people commenting on rumors and not fact, as this irritates the living hell out of me. Those seem to be the same people that are quite vicious with their comments.

Lastly, I do respect you and your blog. If the comments continue to be hateful from the bloggers, I will read them, but not participate as it is useless to compete with childish behavior. I hope your hate mail goes away and at the end of the day, I ALSO am just a BB fan like you.

Your site is GREAT !!! I too have watched every episode of each season and love the game. We all have our favorites and the ones we love to hate, but at the end of the day we all have one thing in common, we love Big Brother. Hang in there and keep the opinions and updates coming.

I've been conflicted with whether or not I've wanted to return to your site simply based on your one comment a few posts ago where you showed your political bias. I have not however sent you nasty grams, that's for sure, but I also have chosen not to post because your comment was personally insulting to me. So, my point is I understand how you may feel to some degree. Today I decided to check back mostly because it's habit and you are on my favorites.

I've always enjoyed your site. Last year we were eye to eye. This year, not so much but I can't honestly recall a moment I said, "Damn you Dame!" If people are going to hate on you based on your opinion of a show then I say to them: please take a moment to evolve, fill your life with other distractions and responsibilities so you can digest the comment, offer your own, and move on with your day.

As for my own relationship with the blog, I'm not sure. I take that area of my life seriously and am exposed to many stresses due to it. I really don't need to find more of it on my BB outlet. So, I guess we'll see. Maybe I just need to get over it! :)

Frankly, I think some people are getting sucked into the same drama the hamsters are feeling in the house. You guys, it's just TV and that's why we watch it! Those people that feel they need to personally attack you for having your own opinion... I know it may be difficult, but, please try to let those nasty comments roll off your back.

I tend to think that unfotunately, there are many people out there that just aren't mature enough yet to allow others to have any other opinions that are not the same as their own. The anger vented towards you is displaced anger from within themselves that they just don't know how to deal with yet. (I don't know if you have kids, but, ya know what I'm saying...)

I do not post here often, but, do go here daily to read "the dirt". It's the first website I go to when I sit down to the computer. I can't get enough of this site or BB7. I'm so sorry for the "haters". I myself just skip beyond those posters. I know you can't do that. We all have our own opinions and are entitled to them. Just sorry to you for "peeps" being hateful. It's unfortunate that some people can and will abuse a public forum such as this...but not surprising.

Personally, I think we all get to caught up in the game and the "personalities" (myself included). I don't receive the live feeds, but what I gather from the people who do..."all is not what it appears" on the edited show. So many of us have probably formed opinions that are not actually based on fact.

To be honest with you, I sometimes feel a lot of what we see the houseguests saying and doing is probably just for show. Who knows?

I appreciate having a quality site to come to and get accurate information. This site is one that many go to first (I do). I don't always agree with many of the opinions posted here and sometimes, I even get just plan irked. But there are many ways to voice an opinion or disapproval without getting personal.

This season of Big Brother has been especially nasty and maybe we too are getting carried away with the momentum of it all.

Hey HD, I am sorry that you are getting bombarded with so much negativity. There is no reason for it. I don't know why this year there has been so much negativity and haters out there.

IT IS A GAME PEOPLE!!! The haters are probably the ones that get thrown out of games because they throw stuff on the field or get kicked out of the kids games because they start a fight with the refs or other parents. It's just immature and they should know better.

I don't always agree with you (except that Dr. will has not grown on me), because I am a Janie fan but you have a right to your opinion and it should be valued along with all of our opinions.

Even though we don't always see eye to eye on the HG's, you've always been the best hostess - fair and impartial.

I remember last year when I was taking alot of flack for being a Maggie fan and you defended me to the few that attacked me...that made me love this site even more. This is the first page on my fav's list, all year round!
