Eviction Day

Is it just me or has this week dragged on? Ever since Monday, iiittt'sss beeeennnn crreeeepppiiinnngg aaalllooonnngggg. I am so freaking glad it's Thursday so we can see some more action in the house.

By 'action', I mean overall action in the house. Not the 'action' between Will and Janie or Boogie and Erika. I'm just glad that somebody else will be HOH and something new will happen.

BTW, I'm watching House Calls as I type this and I must say. This Stat Stud sounds like a really arrogant asswipe. I do like how Gretchen and Bunky are making fun of him. This guy takes himself too seriously. They need to get him off this freaking show. Blech!!!

But back to the house, I wonder what happened in the DR last night when both Janelle and Will went in. It was surprising to see James get so crocked last night.

Now back to House Calls, this caller thinks that Janelle is in love with Will and that Will is in love with Janelle. Can I just say this to that caller? *Imagine me moving my head back and forth and waving my finger.*

Gurl! Gimme a break! You honestly believe that they're in love with each other??? Like OMG! You have to be kidding me. I don't believe any of this 'love' stuff between them. They might be attracted to each other but in love? Pulease.

OK. Back to the house. I'm kinda feeling down that James will probably be leaving tonight. I sooo wish Chicken George would leave instead. *sigh*

Hahaha! Back to House Calls. I love how people are ripping on that Stat Dud. He most definitely is a jerk.

Now before I end this post, some of y'all may already know this but my favorite Big Brother forum - TVClubhouse will be featured in a segment on Big Brother tonight! I'm so excited! TVClubhouse was one of the very first U.S. Big Brother sites on the web and has definitely one of the best forums for Big Brother around. So that's another reason why I can't wait to see the show tonight! :)

Well, House Calls is over and I should finish up this post! So what do y'all think about things in the house right now?

I too wish CG (he of the I won't nominate Janelle because I am afraid of her fans so I won't really play the game fame) were leaving.

Like James or not, you cannot argue that he does not play this game. He plays hard. Perhaps too hard at times. But at least he wants to be in the game.

I am loving the fact that CT survives and makes the final 6 intact. I feel grateful that I have had this long to witness the brilliance that is Will's game again. He is the reason I am a BB addict. Nobody plays this game as well as he does and he does it with a wink and a grin.

I know that the time for them to really have to play hard to survive has come. This is a pivotal week. If they can remain past this week intact then I can't foresee them not making the final 3.

Well, what do I think of the what's going on in the house huh? I think the house is crazy!!!!! There is a strange energy and vibe coming off the houseguests this week, a kind of nervous tension.

I am THRILLED that James is going home tonight as I couldn't listen to his moaning, whining and bitching anymore. I do believe Danielle is completely crazy. I don't know what has happened to her lately but I think she's lost her EVER LOVING MIND. What's with hiding all the alcohol for herself and starting drinking some days at noon? I am seriously worried for her, and she knows James is probably going, so why is she not telling him? Weird.

Boogie and Erika are just plain gross together and Chicken George didn't put up Janelle because he didn't want hate mail to his family? What's up with that? Now he's mad at her for spending time with Will after she said she'd put him up apparently. HELLO? Does he not see Erika making out and sleeping with Boogie? Does he really believe Erika will put up Chill Town? The man is NUTS.

On to Will and Janelle, NO they are not in love, dear God people, what planet is everyone on?!!! They are playing the game! Who's playing who remains to be seen, but it makes great feed watching and TV. Go Will and Janie to the final 2!!!!!!

Love you HD but hate James. The house is stagnant right now. I'm realy glad that James is going home, assuming he is going home tonight (you never know). I think he's a slime bucket and haven't liked him from the beginning. I want to see a really great surprise tonight. Shake things up a little!

Posted by: Piehead at August 24, 2006 11:19 AM

I think Will is getting bored with flirting and bored with playmate Janie. Janie isn't bored of him and isn't done playing/flirting yet.

I also see Boogie is soooo tired of Erica and he needs to watch out because she has also noticed that his attidude has changed. If James is voted out and Dani gets HOH she will put up CT for pulling a "Howie" on her. SHe may even get Janie and Erica to vote of those two out. Black Widow is on the prowell.

I'm looking forward to tonight!

I know this will be an unpopular comment, but I LOVE chicken George.

I think he IS playing the game - he won't commit to voting one way or another, listens to everyone and absorbs it all in. What he is NOT good at is strategizing - he just goes with the crowd, but he has made it this far by creeping under the radar, and making everyone think he is on their side. So, is he Playing Hard like the others, No, but he is playing, and no one realizes it, which makes it better *-)

What can I say, I have liked him since season 1 and I voted for him to come back.

Can't wait for tonights show, and reading about everyone's opinions,

Kelly

I have a question that I was hoping someone would know. Why are the houseguests so worried about their "view" time on the live eviction nights? It has something to do with getting into SAG.

As for the "Janelle and Will" are in love - it must be a fourth grader who made that call. At that age, if two people lock eye contact across a crowded room, they are "in love."

Wednesdays and the lead-up to the live show on Thursday are becoming SO boring this season. Was it this way last year? I don't remember it being quite so bad as it is this year.

In reverse of HD, I think that George is going home, but I wish it was James! At least one of us will be happy later tonight. ;-)

Posted by: Coleen at August 24, 2006 12:41 PM

I know what you mean HD, there was all that activity in one or 2 days and now ... nothing but waiting for eviction. It's been a long one.

I think James is going which I don't mind. George doesn't bother me too much although if they aren't careful, he's going to coast all the way to the end.

I agree with you on the point that Janelle and Will are NOT in love. Geez what is that person thinking. They may find each other attractive and flirt because it's fun but I think that's where it ends.

I am glad James may be going because he makes me a little ill. He is way too serious about everything. He's got a cute smile, he should use it more. Then he throws his Seasix alliance under the bus and then feels bad when Janelle is upset.. give me a break. If you are going to play the game then play it.

I wonder if Danielle knows her boy is leaving. She'll probably get all teary eyed like she did when Marcellas left. For crying out loud, he was just evicted, he didn't die. That's why I love when Will says the same thing after every eviction (except Howie's) that it's a game and someone is going to leave every week. At least they are having fun (loved the little dance after Janie won the veto).

Is anyone else feeling as though they've been gyped (sp?) this season with the feeds?? Seems as though every time I walk by the good old computer on the way to or from the laundry room or whatevah, flames are flaming or all four screens are on the same thing. I don't remember one time when the four cams were on four different things. CBS just takes our money, giggles and runs away...

I think Janie and Will are cute together, however, I really don't think those little cutesy showmancey moments will translate into anything in the real world. Cute, though. Boogie and Erika?? Yikes!!! Erika does NOT have her female radar connected if she thinks that Boogie really is into her at all. At least Will seems interested in Janie - Boogie's body language seems to scream "Get off of me!!". Poor Dani..hiding the liquor and all. Bet her family loves to see that on the internet. What the heck is she thinking??

I sure hope it's James going home tonight, but ya just never, ever know. Best thing Janie could do is gang up with Dani and perhaps CG and kick Will and Boogie to the curb. I have come to like Will, but Boogie is right up there with James and Jase on that list we all have of "HG's We Hate". James can't seem to stop himself from Janie-bashing - even during the card game the HG's were just playing. Unbelievable how much animosity James has towards Janie.

Lastly, I wish to heck everyone would stop with the hysterics when someone leaves. Aren't they grown-ups?? Seems more like junior high. If I see one more person cry, I will throw up. OMG - just glanced at the feeds and they're showing three different things on the cams. No. Wait. False alarm. Two different angles of two different areas. Darn it.

Anyway, thanks, HamsterDame!! You do a superlative job on this site!!

From HD - Well in Real's defense, it's not their fault. Real does not decide what is shown on the feeds. AS/AG/CBS does. Real simply delivers the feeds to us.

But even beyond that, this (the duplicitous nature of the feeds) really starts becoming apparent every year at this time and people (not just you) start to complain about it. The thing is though that there are fewer people in the house and less for the cameras to follow. Personally, I'd rather see different angles of the same convo rather than one feed on the convo and one feed on an empty hammock in the backyard. LOL :)

And thanks for the compliment! :)

As far as James goes, I hope he leaves. After is continues tirade/whining after the veto competition he needs to go.

I think the will/janie thing is just harmless flirting/strategy. I like it better than will trying to flirt with erika or dani. Yuch!

With cg, it's a roller coaster. Some days I feel bad for him and think he is in way over his head and other days I think he is playing a great game. People need to get him out (first james though) before he floats to final three.

Posted by: starr4all at August 24, 2006 01:31 PM

Danielle knows James is going home. At least that's what Will and Boogie told her.

HD, I wasn't b*tching about Realplayer - I realize they're just the "conduit" - but CBS. Don't know about you, but I have to budget in my BB obsession, not to mention my NYTimes Select club thingy. That's a lot of money to pay to spend half the time in flames. Thank goodness I'm an insomniac or I wouldn't have come close to getting my $$$'s worth - LOL! At least if we pay the moolah, then we've got b*chin' rights!! Love BB and all the hoopla that goes with it!! And I know you've heard this time and time again, but yours IS the first site I visit when I want to know the nitty-gritty. Who cares if we agree or disagree or agree to disagree?? Info is the point, isn't it??? Toodles!!

From HD - Indeed it is silk! I just wanted to mention the 'Real' thing because I get that question all the time so I thought I would try to head off the next few questions. LOL

Posted by: silk at August 24, 2006 03:11 PM

I think it would be more interesting to start out with 20 players and have a double eviction every week. Then they would have enough going on to have a show 5 days a week, and it wouldn't cost them that much more. I'd like to see all of the competitions be live, except for the occasional endurance comp. This is the only time I have had live feeds. This is the only month of the year, where I have not had to work 6-7 days a week. I have to admit the last couple of days have been boring.

I hope they keep James, but I'm not holding my breath. I've actually started to like George as a person. He's kind of interesting sometimes. He seems like he's a good father, as well as one of those people in life who are willing to take risks and try new things.

Posted by: Sandi at August 24, 2006 03:46 PM

In my dream world, the feeds are on 24/7 blocked ONLY during lockdown (for the area restricted from houseguests access) or during the LIVE show. ONLY.

In my dream world we have a split screen with options to "see" the room of our choice. Instead of choosing "1, 2, 3 or 4" we could choose "HOH room, Living Room, Kitchen, Red Room, Bug Room, Outside east and Outside west." Then - if there is nothing there, oh well. We should also have zoom capabilities.

Posted by: Coleen at August 24, 2006 04:33 PM

Coleen I'd pay extra for your dream world feeds.
Are you listening CBS - EXTRA yes indeed.

I have to admit that CBS has tried to do some "different" things this year. Slop. Isolation. Dual HOH. They just don't seem to do enough to keep these hampsters busy.

Speaking of Dual HOH I thought this was more than just a 1 shot deal. I'd love to see another dual this week.
Try getting them to agree. :O

UUUUUUUUUGH! We have been having SEVERE storms all day (think baseball size hail) so none of the regular programs are on, only weather updates. No Big Bro! WAAAAAAAAAH!

Posted by: Steph at August 24, 2006 05:55 PM

With James gone and Erika win hoh, now she will put up Jani and CG. But I see Dani win the pov and take Jani off so Erika will put up Will.

Holy Cow, HD, you crack me up! Please tell me that you are still here in the off-season!
