And The New HOH Is....

Mike Boogie!!!!!!

Wow! Yay! Wow! Wow? LOL

The comp was obviously some kind of football-themed comp. I can't wait to watch it! :)

Double Down

OK folks, it's almost that time. I'll be updating this post as the show advances. Each update (I'm guessing here) will be about five minutes or so apart but it could be more often or less often. It depends entirely on the pace of the show tonight and how fast I can type (around 110 wpm for those wondering). I'll approve the comments by y'all as quickly as I can get to them during the commercials.

Let's all have fun tonight! It should be a fantastic jam-packed show!
--------------------------------------------

:00 - Previously on...

:02 - JC in a fab black outfit. HGs are in for one tumultuous night. POV will be played. But first...Will & Boogie have already been making plans for the future. CT is on the hunt for their Yoko Ono. Who will it be?

:03 - Scenes from the nom ceremony. Erika knows Dani feels betrayed but says the game is about getting to the end even though she hated to do it. "Who can you trust but yourself?" Dani says she never thought Erika would put her up and it doesn't make sense to her. She says she got seriously played. CG thinks this week might be the peaceful week. JC said she'd have chicken and beer waiting for him so maybe he'll get it. W/B in SR strategizing. Erika comes in. Will hugs her and says she did phenomenal and did a great job. Will says (in DR) that he's the one that did all of this and nobody's even mad at him. Er thinks that being a secret member of CT they have her back. Erika leaves SR. Jan comes in. Jan (in DR) says that nobody knows that she's part of CT except CT. Back in SR W/B laugh about the CT alliances. W/B tell George in Kitchen he's an honorary member of CT. CG says 'Cool'. Boogie says (in DR) that they gave out honorary CT memberships to everybody. "How many will we honor? ZERO!" Boogie and Dani in the BY. Boogie tells her she's safe. Will comes out to play cards. Dani asks if they're keeping her and he says yes. Will tells her to relax and that it's just a game. Dani says she's cool.

JC back to house announcing tonight's events. Says they're going into overdrive. They call it Big Brother Fast Forward. Let's get things started. George & Danielle, your housemates are about to cast their votes to evict live. Janie looks a little confused. CG says that if they want to save the greatest BB player in history then he should stay. Dani says that all of them are all-stars and would appreciate it if she's kept there. Live voting begins.

:09 - Janelle votes first. She votes to evict Danielle. Will votes to evict Danielle. Boogie votes to evict Danielle.

:10 - HGs, the votes are in. By a vote of 3-0, Danielle you have been evicted from the BB All-Star house. Dani hugs everybody. Not crying but a little short. Dani tells them she'll be voting for the best player so they should kick butt and that she loves them all. They all clap while she's walking out. Dani going out to JC now. Shakes her hand.

:12 - Back inside the house, Erika unzips CG and CG is stripping and changing. Boogie looks nervous at the table by himself. Will looks tense. Janie putting hair in ponytail or re-doing it one. JC interviewing Dani now. Dani says she didn't really think she was safe because of how CT is so she was expecting the unexpected. JC asks if "Nothing personal - just business" sounds familiar. It's her quote from S3. Dani says yes but she realizes it's just a game. JC says she lost to a guy in a green leotard. Dani says she knows. JC asks about if she got redemption and Dani says yes and wishes she would have scumbagged more but she tried to play nice. JC tells her about the second eviction and asks who she wants to be gone next. Dani says ERIKA. Dani viewing goodbye vids now. Laughs at Janie's, laughs at Boogie's, laughs at Will's. She seems like she's really kinda OK. She smiles at CG's. CG's vid is really sweet. Dani smiles tight-lipped with raised eyebrows at Erika's vid. JC asks if she could ever forgive Erika. Dani says she forgives her completely but says that if Erika thinks that CT or Janelle has her back she's mistaken. End of interview. Coming up, four people will be battling it out. Commercial.

:20 - Welcome back. We're making BB history. HGs the power is up for grabs. Erika you are not eligible to compete. Tonight's game is called Battle of the Sexes. She'll ask 8 questions about events that have taken place in the house this summer. The answer is either male or female. If you think the answer is female you'll step forward, male step back. Each correct answer gets one point. Person with the most points will be new HOH.

Q1 - During the live show, did a male or female tell me that Kaysar was even more gorgeous without hair? All step back. Marcie said it. Everyone right and got a point.

Q2 - Was the 2nd HG evicted by a 8-2 vote a male or a female? All step forward. All right and all got a point.

Q3 - When Dani used the veto and removed herself was the person who took her place a male or a female? CG and Mike forward. Will & Janelle back. CG & Boogie wrong.

Q4 - This summer, HGs from past seasons made an appearance. Of these HGs were there more males or females? All step forward except Janelle. Janelle only one right. Janelle in lead with 4 points.

Q5 - Was the 2nd ghost to appear during the seance a male or female? CG, Mike, Jan forward. Will back. Everybody but Will got it right but Janie with the lead with 5 points.

Q6 - In the first HOH comp, was the first person to throw the meteor male or female? All forward. All right. Janie with 6 points. The rest with 4 points.

Q7 - During the judging of the sloppy cookoff, did a male or female say it tasted like low-grade dog food? All back. All right.

Q8 - Did the majority of POV wins go to males or females? All forward. All right. Janelle is the new HOH!!!

:25 - Janie gets the key from Erika. She hugs everybody and they congratulate her. JC tells all of them to head back into the house. They'll have about 4 minutes before they're called for nominations. Janie excited. All heading towards couch now. Jan/Will head off to green room to talk strategy. Whispering very softly. They hug. Janie doesn't want Erika to think they're targeting Boogie? VERY HARD to hear. Will says he'll win POV and they'll put somebody else up. Will doesn't want Janie to put up Boogie now. Will says everyone's going to be pissed no matter what. JC breaks in to the TV audience and says the Nomination ceremony is next. Commercial.

:31 - JC welcomes us back. Moments ago Janelle became the new HOH. Right now she must nom 2 people. Let's listen in on her strategy. Back to the green room with W/Janie. They're still whispering. Will tells her to wait until Julie calls her because it'll create a lot of drama on the show. JC calls everyone to the living room because it's time for the nom ceremony. JC tells George to have a seat on the couch. Janelle stands. "This is a really horrible position to be in. I'm going to have to nominate George and Erika." George says he's back in the seat again. JC thanks them for taking their seat in the chairs and tells them to get ready because the Veto competition is next. Commercial.

:37 - Welcome back. Let's return to the BY and get the live Veto competition started. They're each attached to ropes. The comp is called 'I'm Not About Veto'. At the end of the rope is a veto symbol. The first person to free their veto symbol, take it off the rope, and hit the buzzer with veto in hand will win the POV. Once you have the veto, you can not unclip your rope until you and the veto symbol are past the zone (she said that last part fast so forgive me) Go! They're working on undoing the knots now.

:40 - Everybody's neck and neck now. Erika and Will are neck and neck for the lead working on knot #2. CG is nowhere near close to finishing knot #1. Janelle still working on her first knot. It's a race between Erika and Will.

:41 - Will is on his last knot. Erika has her veto. Going past the red zone to unclip herself. Will dings the bell but wasn't unhooked from his rope. Erika unhooks herself with the veto and rings the bell. ERIKA wins the POV. JC tells her she only has a couple of minutes to decide what she's going to do. Everybody congratulates her. She's kinda short with her 'Thank you's' and says that pilates helped her. Commercial.

:45 - JC welcomes us back. Erika must now decide whether to use the POV. Time for the meeting to get started. JC asks if she'd like to say anything to her fellow HGs. She tells them Good luck? Then Hi mom. Erika is taking herself off the block. Janelle is nominating Boogie in her place.

:47 - JC says the meeting is adjourned. When they come back there will be another live vote. You can hear Erika say 'Oh no' as they go to commercial. Commercial.

:50 - JC welcomes us back AGAIN. CG and Boogie are on the chopping block. Who will be evicted? George, Mike, in just a few moments your fellow HGs will vote to evict. Now they have a chance to speak. CG says he already said it tonight and has nothing more to say only the best to each and every one of them. Boogie says he thanks his business partner Lonnie from The Dolce Group. To the HGs, he says he's (CG) is a very sympathetic character and it will be hard to beat him. Janelle will break a tie if there is one. Will votes first.

:52 - Will votes to evict Chicken George. Erika votes to evict George.

:52 - JC says it's official. Returns to the LR. HGs, the votes are in. In just a few moments, the evicted HG will have one minute to say goodbye. By a vote of 2-0, George you have been evicted from the house. CG started getting up even before JC said his name. Boogie says he's truly an all-star. He hugs everybody and they hug him back. CG tells everybody thanks for letting him play as long as he has. Boogie tells him Budweisers at Dolce. LOL CG shakes JC's hand and sits down. Back to the house. Boogie laid out on the floor. They yell 'Final Four'! They're all in kinda disbelief. Will says there's still a lot of time left, is someone coming back. Erika wants to black and white Jase. Janie says there's more than two weeks left. Back to JC and CG.

:55 - JC says you made it to the final five! CG is excited he made it this far. He compares himself to a donkey in the Kentucky Derby. She says at time he seemed confused in the house but others thought it was strategy. He says he had no strategy. He says the food really messed him up. Being on slop and not eating but at this point in the game he's glad he made it to #5. JC says he's a 47-year-old man and a father of 3 and brings up how he dresses sometimes. He figured he got the chance to go back and do some wild and crazy things and have a good time and that's how he tried to play the game. JC says they have a surprise for him. Colonel Sanders comes out!!!!!!! CG shakes his hand and he has a bucket of chicken. OMG!!!!! How sooooo cool!!!!!!

:57 - JC takes us back to the house and says here are our final four all-stars. Plugs House Calls. Be sure to tune in Sunday at 8:00 to see who will win HOH and see who will be put on the chopping block. "Then, Tuesday at 8:00, I'll be back here for a special live eviction episode and the battle to become the last Head of Household of the summer will begin." Leaves us listening in. Will grabs something out of fridge and goes to the workout room where Janelle is. They shut the door and are talking. End of Show

Well, I hope you all enjoyed this tonight! I just might do it again. Please forgive any misspellings though! LOL :)

The Diamond Is Losing His Shine

*Disclaimer - This post refers to 'the big picture' of things between Will and Janelle and how it affects Will's chance of winning the game. It does not and could never possibly include all of the actions between the two because this post would take way too long to write and to read. Please keep this in mind as you read this. Thank you.*

It pains me to say this but Will messed up his game again last night.

The first time he messed up was when he, Janelle, Erika, and Boogie did that shower 'thing' up in the HOH. Janelle was tipsy and wanted him to kiss her but he declined and played coy which hurt Janelle's feelings a little bit. Luckily he was able to smooth things over by bringing up their relationships they have outside the house. It was more of a flirty thing then.

Since then Will and Janelle have kept on flirting but this last week, things have been kicked up a couple of notches. There was that whole playing and snuggling session they had this last weekend which led to him laying on the floor beside her bed while they held hands - openly and under the blanket. Not to mention more longing glances and batting of the eyelashes between the two.

There have been numerous remarks by both of them that they probably don't have their romantic relationships outside of the house anymore but yet they still talk about them to each other and to others in the house. And of course, none of us are really privy to how serious their outside relationships are as we are not in them

Last night though? Well, things started off cute enough I guess. Will led Janie by the arm out to the backyard for the house's date night complete with a five-star dinner, fine china, and Dom Perignon. Both of them sucked down a couple of glasses of champagne rather quickly and the situation escalated from there.

The continued drinking. The winks. The staring at each other. The whispering in each other's ears. The feeding each other. All of this in front of everybody. So much flirting in fact that all of the others at the table began making fun of them in a roundabout way and then openly. They (Will and Janelle) were pretty damned tipsy by the time dinner ended.

After going to the DR to beg for more alcohol (and getting it), the flirting was kicked up even higher on the couch outside of the HOH room. It was obvious that both were pretty lit. They were slurring their words, couldn't concentrate on their card game, and kept grabbing each other's heads so that they could whisper to each other. Will was better at the whispering than Janelle was. I heard Janelle whisper to Will, "I'm so horny" and "I want you" and "Should I move to L.A." and "You know you want to" among other things that couldn't be made out so clearly.

They then moved to the HOH bed where Janelle tried her damnedest to get Will to kiss her. Will would push her away and she would try again. Then he'd grab her and whisper to her and she would start all over again. Eventually they passed out (without much of anything happening between the two) before Erika and Boogie came up to reclaim the HOH room. All four were going to sleep in the bed but Will fought his way out of the bed (Janelle was trying to keep him in) to go pee and then to go get some water. It wasn't but a few minutes later that Janelle got up to go try to find him. She found him in the backyard with Dani and CG where they did their little 'thing' again for a few more minutes before discussing general things with Dani and CG.

Now that things have been kinda set up, I'm going to say again that Will is screwing up his game. I'm one of those that believes Janelle has been falling for him for awhile now and that Will has been playing Janie. While I think Will definitely is attracted to Janelle I believe his actions have been for the game; however, he got so tipsy last night that he forgot about the game. Last night, he was leading Janelle on a bit too much for his own good.

Janelle seems to be believing more and more that there might be something with him outside of the game. I truly don't think there would be. I think both of them would tire quickly of each other in the real world but in the house, in their microcosm, Will's playing her too much and Janelle's believing him too much right now.

I am convinced that Will and Boogie are playing only for each other and want to make it to the end together. With Will playing Janelle so much right now, she will only be that much more disappointed when/if she is evicted and Will's still in the house. Will and Boogie need to get Janelle out soon and before Erika because I don't see Will putting the big-time brakes on this 'thing' and I don't see Janelle letting him.

You don't screw with a woman's heart. And if you do, you'd better give her enough time to mellow out afterwards or you shouldn't expect a vote from her. LOL

Update at 5:30 PM - Unfortunately I didn't hear this because I wasn't home but here's a post in the live feeds section at Jokers. It's part of a convo between Will and Erika in HOH. Will's saying he doesn't want to be with Janelle and wants to be with Erin. What he's been doing with Janelle has been a game - exactly what I've been saying all along.

W - "I know it's a flirtmance and I know it's funny but I'm in love with Erin and I want to be with Erin and this flirtmance has served an amazing purpose in this house which is it's gotten rid of people I wanted to get rid of in a shocking way, like surprisingly it got rid of Marcellas, it... even when Howie left, my relationship with her (Janelle), smoothed things over very quickly because of the flirtmance. At the end of the day, I want to be with Erin Brodie and she, I'm pretty convinced, unless she's better than I think, wants to be with me."
E - Janelle?
W - Janelle is unrelenting.
E - what does she whisper?
W - like stuff, like stuff stuff, like uh just stuff, like relationship ending stuff.
E - Really?
W - Yeah, so I think J is awesome, I think J is hot, I think J is amazing. If I was single who knows what would happen but I'm in love with Erin and I want to be with Erin.

Surprised

Wow. I'm amazed that CBS actually decided to show a lot of the Danielle going off the deep end stuff. I figured they would water it down for the viewers and leave the poor little things in the dark yet again as to what's really going on in the house.

So I was pleasantly surprised that they showed Dani drunk in the hot tub talking to George, and then getting up and going over to confront Erika, and then going to get Will to help her 'escape' Danielle (although they didn't show her going to Boogie first), and then Dani repeatedly on the doorbell. Too bad they didn't show her pressing on the doorbell and knocking for an entire seven minutes! LOL

Ya know, Neil Patrick Harris is kinda hot! I must admit though that I've never seen his show. The whole Christmas thing was cute. How funny Janelle getting a bra and panty set. Wonder what the look on NPH's face was. Hahahaha. He seems like a really cool guy though and it's neat that he's such a Big Brother fan. Yay Neil!

And of course I must address the 'phone call' at the end of the show tonight. LOL Loved it! I know many find them annoying but I can't get enough. If they could end every show with a phone call it would be wonderful!

Well, the hamsters are getting ready for date night tonight. I'm off to watch them primp. Why does Will blow the hair dryer in his face? Gawd he looks hot tonight. Yummeeee! I hope we get to watch things tonight. tongue.gif

Dream A Little Dream With Me

Don't you just love it when you wake up in the middle of the night (or day) and realize you've been dreaming about one of the hamsters or you're dreaming you're in the house with them? I was having a dream this morning that Howie and CG were on either side of me and they were juggling. We weren't even in the house. We were in my front yard (which I don't even have because I live in an apartment) and it was a nice sunshiney day outside. That's all I remember. LOL

And remember the mime from Season 4? Last week I woke up from a dream where him and Jun (Song) were in it. I don't remember what it was about now but I remember thinking it was the weirdest thing.

A couple of weeks ago I had a dream and Danielle was in it. I went to work and told a couple of my friends there about it (they're also BB fans) and they just looked at me weird and then laughed at me. I promise folks! I'm not crazy!

Have any of you had any dreams that were related to Big Brother? I certainly can't be the only one. 'Fess up!

It Is What It Is

Oh woe is me. Stupid me thought it would be OK to go watch TV (Flavor Flave!) and go to bed afterwards. Boy did I miss out.

Danielle got bombed, hammered, plastered, smashed, etc again last night and confronted Erika about the possibility of Erika putting her up. Now I figured Dani would go off on Erika but I really didn't think it would be last night. If anything, I expected it to be tonight some time after the nomination ceremony. That is, of course, if Erika had gone through with it and put Dani up. But anyways....

So I scrambled around a bit this morning looking for YouTubes to find the whole ordeal and catch myself up.

Ya know, some people just shouldn't drink so much. While watching those YouTubes I was alternating between feeling sorry for Danielle and laughing at Danielle. When she was talking to Erika in the BY, she kept on saying that she wanted to take Erika to the final 2 and how she swore on her kids' life and stuff. But really she's only upset because she knows she would have won against Erika in F2 and now she won't have that chance. Not to mention she kept on telling Erika that she had her back. Funny though how she never mentioned LOD to her.

Watching her keeping on ringing the HOH doorbell was hilarious and freaky scarey. Can you just imagine what would have happened if she had made it in there to talk to Erika? They'd probably still be talking now.

Another weird thing is that you'd think Boogie would have at least had a little bit of compassion for Erika and went and consoled her. And then later, he didn't even want to try to go talk to Dani to get Dani away from the HOH door. But that's Mike Boogie for ya!

Anyway, bye bye Dani!

The Birds and The Bees

Tonight's show was another great one. They're really on a roll lately!

There were some great DRs especially. Danielle, George, Erika, and the one with Will and Janelle was cute!

I think the absolute best part of tonight's show was the food competition. Will and Boogie were dressed up as bees, Erika and CG were dressed up as flowers, and Janelle and Danielle were dressed up as birds. The birds and the bees had to pollinate the flowers! But it was the flowers pollinating the birds and bees tonight! Bwahahaha!

Georgie went to town on the birds and the bees. He jumped on them, rolled around on them, smushed them. Poor Will and Janelle. Meanwhile, Erika rode her Boogie bee like she was a bull rider in the rodeo. I was laughing my ass off the whole time I was watching this. It was hilarious! And of course, CG's excitement about winning the slop pass was over the top but hell I'd probably act the same way if I didn't have to eat that mess this week.

Nominations were very ho-hum tonight but that's because I already knew who was nominated but even that was predictable. Interesting though was when Erika told Georgie that he was only nominated as strategy (in order to get Janelle out) he came back with something like 'So I'm not the strongest player?' and she told him he was right up there. Of course Erika. Yeah.

But again, all of the segments were great. Beside showing the food comp and noms, there was the Boogie/Erika segment, the Will/Janelle segment (including their DR together), and, oh yeah baby the Will loving on us internet fans through the camera. In case you never saw the whole thing or want to see it again, check out the 'Your Final Four' post down there. wink.gif

As far as what's been going down in the house today, it's been fairly boring. They got their Christmas in August this morning and we didn't get to see it. Boo! Hiss! But there are screen caps out there of a few split seconds of feeds coming through and they had a guest during their Christmas. Neil Patrick Harris showed up and even jumped on the trampoline with them for a little bit. Chicken George was dressed as Santa Claus. Should be great to see this on the show.

Other than that, there was a naptime after the feeds came back on where Will and Janelle did their little flirty thing again and even held hands for a brief moment before falling asleep. Even I have to admit it was cute. What was even cuter is that Janelle wrote something on the palm of his hand with her finger. I wonder what it was. Hmmmm.

Oooh. And I almost forgot. Erika told Dani she's being put up on the block in Janelle's place. wink.gif

Flame Watch 2006

I interrupt your regularly scheduled program for the following announcement.

The POV competition has started. I repeat. The POV competition has started. Early reports indicate that it is a repeat of the Morph-O-Matic competition used in 2005 during BB6. We recommend a few cups of coffee for this one tonight don't we Chip?

Again, for those of you joining us late, the POV competition started moments before 8:30 PM. For this and other late-breaking Big Brother news and updates please stay tuned. We now return to our regularly scheduled program.

Flower Power

Our little (and I do mean little) Erika went and did it. She put up CG and Janelle!

I told everybody I knew that that's what she was going to do but some of them didn't believe me. But then again, some of them didn't understand what the hell I was talking about since they don't even watch the show. Imagine my horror when, on my drive home from work today, I had to come to grips with the fact that not everybody watches Big Brother. What losers they are! hehehe

But I was right! So many people thought she would actually have enough backbone to put Will up. Har! Har! Har! Oh wait, let me re-do that because it sounded like a seal instead of a hearty laugh.

Har! Har! Har!

Could you tell the difference? Cool.

Oh I can not wait until the POV competition tomorrow! I want them to do it now! LOL

Update at 7:00 PM Saturday - BB came over the loudspeaker (30 minutes ago) and said that the POV competition is going to start in two hours. So we only have an hour and a half to wait. Supposedly, it's going to be like the Morph-O-Matic competition from last season. Yay! I can watch the end of the NASCAR Bristol night race. ;)

Was This The Worst?

Oh. This. Can't. Possibly. Be. Happening.

Was what I just saw a dream? Maybe I was napping during the show. Who am I kidding? I don't nap during Big Brother. That would be like crying in baseball. And we all know there's no crying in baseball.

I know what. I'm going to blame it on scientists. Scientists you ask? HamsterDame says yes! Everything that happened tonight was because the scientists decided to disallow Pluto as a planet. So it's the scientists' fault and it's Pluto's fault. Damn Pluto's orbit. Damn it all to hell!!!

James was eliminated. That wasn't that big of a surprise. Unfortunately. No TVCH spot!!! WTF? They had to make time for the showmances. *barf*

But the kicker of it all, or rather the cherry on top, or maybe even the 'piece de resistance' was the winner of the HOH.

See, with Pluto being kicked down a notch it has kicked our Milky Way galaxy out of sync. Somehow Erika won the HOH. Where's a moon when you need one? I would have gladly given Pluto a moon if it needed one. Hell, I would have volunteered to go and visit Pluto if it would help. (Nevermind the fact that it would take me umpteen million light years to get there but that's beside the point.)

Watching Erika celebrate with Boogie in the storage room at the end of the show gave me some hope though. I hope that Erika does what CT wants.

laughing.gif

Crap! I almost forgot what Julie said at the end of the show tonight. But then, who can really trust anything that Chenbot says? She did say that next Thursday (a week from tonight for those keeping count) that there would be an action-packed live hour where two people will be walking out the front door. Oh and. The houseguests won't know what hit them. Hmm mmm. I'll believe it when I see it toots.

Ummm. I wonder what you guys think about tonight. Just. Wow.

Update at 8:09 PM - I've been awarded a wonderful prize tonight. I'm so honored. Does this tiara look good on me? I knew I should have worn higher heels and a shorter skirt tonight. Damn it!

I'm a Blog of the Day!

Eviction Day

Is it just me or has this week dragged on? Ever since Monday, iiittt'sss beeeennnn crreeeepppiiinnngg aaalllooonnngggg. I am so freaking glad it's Thursday so we can see some more action in the house.

By 'action', I mean overall action in the house. Not the 'action' between Will and Janie or Boogie and Erika. I'm just glad that somebody else will be HOH and something new will happen.

BTW, I'm watching House Calls as I type this and I must say. This Stat Stud sounds like a really arrogant asswipe. I do like how Gretchen and Bunky are making fun of him. This guy takes himself too seriously. They need to get him off this freaking show. Blech!!!

But back to the house, I wonder what happened in the DR last night when both Janelle and Will went in. It was surprising to see James get so crocked last night.

Now back to House Calls, this caller thinks that Janelle is in love with Will and that Will is in love with Janelle. Can I just say this to that caller? *Imagine me moving my head back and forth and waving my finger.*

Gurl! Gimme a break! You honestly believe that they're in love with each other??? Like OMG! You have to be kidding me. I don't believe any of this 'love' stuff between them. They might be attracted to each other but in love? Pulease.

OK. Back to the house. I'm kinda feeling down that James will probably be leaving tonight. I sooo wish Chicken George would leave instead. *sigh*

Hahaha! Back to House Calls. I love how people are ripping on that Stat Dud. He most definitely is a jerk.

Now before I end this post, some of y'all may already know this but my favorite Big Brother forum - TVClubhouse will be featured in a segment on Big Brother tonight! I'm so excited! TVClubhouse was one of the very first U.S. Big Brother sites on the web and has definitely one of the best forums for Big Brother around. So that's another reason why I can't wait to see the show tonight! :)

Well, House Calls is over and I should finish up this post! So what do y'all think about things in the house right now?

Who's Playing Who The Most?

We have Will and Janelle and then we have Boogie and Erika.

After even more talk and even more action last night. After seeing diary rooms from Will and Janie on the show last night. After everything so far.

Who's playing who the most? And who's getting played the most?

So?

So what did y'all think about tonight's show? It was hard to make out anything in the POV competition. But even though I was upset the other day, I don't think BB just gave it to Janelle.

It definitely did look like quite a battle though. It would have been a better battle if it had been two men going after it or two women. I think, though, that since it was a man and a woman competing like that that James might have been wary of being too rough with fighting Janelle over it. Because you could definitely see her kick him during it and she was smiling the whole time. But oh well. The comp has been decided and we're not going back there.

It was hilarious watching Will and Boogie celebrate in HOH after Janelle won veto. And I sooooo wish Chicken George would get rid of those asinine getups for the shows. Occasionally is funny or interesting. All the time is just plain strange.

But anyway, what did y'all think?

Your Final Four

OK folks. Give it to me. Give me your final four.

If you want to explain why you want them in the final four you can. If you don't want to explain why, then you don't have to. They don't have to be who you think will be in the final four. They can be just who you want of the seven left.

My final four are: Will, Danielle, James, and Janelle.

Who are yours?

*Just a note from HD* - For those who are interested in watching again or for those who didn't get a chance to see it yesterday. Below are the links to Will's makeout session with us through the camera in the BY. Depending on how much you like Will you'll either be turned on, grossed out, or will just laugh your ass off. Regardless, it's a good waste of about fifteen minutes of your life. The vids were posted by xx2000xx over on YouTube. Enjoy! ;)

Thanks!

I just want to make a quick post saying 'Thanks' to all of you wonderful people out there. I really appreciate how so many of you have taken the time to post such nice comments and/or email me personally.

When I woke up this morning and checked Silly Hamsters, I was absolutely shocked at the amount of comments and even more importantly what was said in those comments. I truly expected a bunch of nasty comments with people taking their final potshots at me before they moved on. What I got was the absolute opposite and y'all made me feel very appreciated.

Y'all made my day! Silly Hamsters has the best readers and commenters around! biggrin.gif

Now on to Big Brother...

Who's Boogie really going to put up in Janelle's place and who do you think will be leaving? My feelings on whether James will actually go home on Thursday or not flip flop constantly. LOL

So what do y'all think is going to happen?

Show Me Your Hate

Here it is. Let's lay it out on the table and get this over with once and for all. Get it out of your system. Shake it off. And then hopefully some of you might be a little more respectful around here and will stop emailing me personally calling me all kinds of shitty names or trying to post comments full of hate.

Maybe some of you you will stop emailing me telling me what a dumbass I am. Maybe some of you will realize that this is a blog that is written by me and me only that contains my opinions and my opinions only. Maybe some of you will begin to realize that at the end of the day I'm just another person like you, a Big Brother fan. Maybe some of you will realize that you would never say some of the stuff you've said to me in email or comments to somebody else's face unless you despised them and expected to be slapped in return. And maybe, just maybe, you'll realize that if you despise and hate me so much that maybe you shouldn't come here at all if you can't put your opinion out there in a respectful manner and try to be respectful towards me as a person.

And let me say something else since this is my blog and all. Don't call me out on NOT posting comments with opinions that differ from mine. Because if that's all you can do, then obviously you haven't read Silly Hamsters or the comments on Silly Hamsters that much. Try reading and comprehending a little bit before you jump to such quick judgment. And don't come here just trying to stir up shit because you have nothing else better to do. If that's truly all you want to do, then there are several other sites out there that would suit your fancy.

Oh, and one other thing. I assume most of us here are on at least a high school reading and writing level. If you don't know how to use periods, spaces, capitalization, a spell-checker, or the Enter key then it might be helpful if you learned. Not saying that your comment has to be grammatically perfect or anything - don't get me wrong - but when typing a long post it helps when you separate it into paragraphs. It makes it easier to read. The same thing goes for using periods and correct spelling.

So if, in the future, you find that your comment was not posted, look above for a possible reason as to why.

So let it fly. Vent. Call me any name in the book. Whatever. All I can do is hope it makes you feel better.

For tomorrow is another day....

The Agenda

I wonder what's on the agenda for the hamsters today. Wasn't there some talk of a Luxury comp today? If there is a luxury comp today, we'll be able to watch it at least. It would definitely give us something fun to watch rather than bicker amongst each other. It would also definitely be nice to watch something in the house that made us and all of them laugh.

All of this drama and anxiety in the house is making it seem like there should only be a few days left in the house rather than a few weeks. LOL!

But I'll bet I know what our agenda is today! We'll be watching the feeds and then watching the show tonight. Tonight's show should be exciting. I wonder how much they'll show of Howie's actions. I hope he isn't shown too badly even though it sounds like he got out of hand a little bit.

We'll finally get to see sequester. I'm sure Marcie and Howie are getting along swimmingly. I would definitely pay to see those two alone over there!

Then we should see the new HOH competition. That should be fun to watch. Who doesn't appreciate pie-throwing right? And gnomes. Real live gnomes. (OK, little people dressed up as gnomes.)

Sucky thing about it is that Marcellas wasn't there to experience and appreciate the gnomes. Could you just imagine it? Hahahahaha!

Feeds Back!

Janie won the POV!!!

janiepovagain.jpg

Update at 10:57 PM - Janie and Boogie are in HOH room celebrating real quickly and Janie says that James is pissed at her. Seems like there might have been some kind of question regarding who might have grabbed a doll first? James thought he did and Janelle got it. So yeah Caolin you're right! James is pissed at Janie! LOL

Update at 11:51 PM - Sounds to me like there should be a re-do in this competition or at the very least Janelle should be disqualified. After hearing James' version, Janelle's version, and after hearing what the other hamsters saw happened there should most definitely be a re-do. Seems that Janelle got a little too 'feisty' and instead of making incidental contact made purposeful contact in the game.

And then the kicker is that Big Brother says they didn't have the right angle in their footage in the backyard? Gimme a break. Something smells fishy to me in this whole thing. Especially after the HOH re-do of last week that Janie just happened to win. And now this with Janie winning over another technicality? Come on Big Brother! You should be able to do better than this. And if you're going to have a re-do of the HOH then you should have a re-do of this POV also or at least disqualify Janelle.

Update at 9:45 AM - Comments on this post are turned off. Move on. I have already.

A Little Thievery

I'm going to steal a post idea from my friend Ryn over at Big Brothers Keeper because I'm interested in how y'all would answer this question. And since we're on flames for God only knows how long, now is as good a time as any to ask.*Hi Ryn!*

Will you stop watching if your favorite hamster is voted out?

All Quiet On The Western Front For Now

*yawnnnnnn* *stretches my arms above my head*

I awake from my catnap and what do my eyes behold? The hamsters are down for their catnap as well. Doing a little checking around, I find that indeed Boogie nominated James and Janelle as had been planned earlier. I also find that the POV competition will be held tonight.

Yippee! It's a good thing I got my nap in because there's no telling what time BB will want to do the comp. All I know is that James or Janelle had better win the veto if they don't want to go home.

Now I'm off to run an errand and to pick up a burger from either Dairy Queen or Sonic. I'm starving!

Update at 7:01 PM - Well the feeds went to trivia just now so the POV comp must be about to start. Wonder how long this will take? LOL

Update at 7:10 PM - They just drew for players. CG is not playing.

Update at 8:48 PM - I wish they would have the damned competition already. And yeah, I'm grouchy. Grrr. Ooooohhhh. It worked!

26 Hours

This has been the craziest twenty-six hours that I can recall ever in the BB house. I don't think I could begin to count the number of almost heart attacks on my end.

From being excited to being depressed to being wistful to being wishful to being upset to being thankful. It's been crazy. But it's been a great ride so far. I can't wait to see how the rest of this week plays out.

I feel for Howie being gone but I'm kinda glad Erika stayed. I hate seeing Janelle so upset (yes - I DO have a heart) but I love watching Will with her trying to comfort her.

What do y'all think about these last 26 hours?

Posted by HamsterDame at 07:43 PM | Comments (41)

Feeds Back!

The feeds are back awn!!!!!

Let's try to figure out what all happened.

Janie's crying - Erika's still there - so Howie must be gone!

Update at 6:19 PM - Somebody in CT won HOH. Can't tell who yet. I wonder if they've also already done nominations. Hmmmm.

Update at 6:30 PM - Boogie won HOH!

Posted by HamsterDame at 06:08 PM | Comments (22)

It's Awn!

Why did I have to go to sleep last night? LOL

Been playin' catch up since I woke up this morning and what do I read? That they had the POV competition last night and James won!!! Oh wow. Seems like everybody was up there talking to Georgie about who he should put up except for Janelle and Howie (unless I missed reading about it somewhere). From everything I've read, seems like CG is leaning towards putting up Janelle in James' spot! OMG!

If Chicken George does that, it will have been the boldest move made in the house so far this season.

So it seems like the schedule for this weekend goes something like this: the POV ceremony will be held today and the eviction is tomorrow (Saturday) as well as the new HOH competition. All of this will be on Sunday's show of course.

My mind's still spinning from all that has happened. So what else did I (or anybody else who slept) miss last night? What do you think will really happen today? Will Chicken George really put up Janelle and if he does, will Janelle be evicted or will the votes be flipped on Erika?

Update at 5:42 AM - Was pointed out to me (Thanks Sassie) that Janelle and Howie didn't go up to the HOH room to talk to CG because he told them they were safe while they were leaving the room after CG got his pictures and stuff. That makes a lot more sense! Soooo....if CG does put up Janelle that would be a rather ballsy move indeed!

Oh, and don't forget about House Calls today. I can't wait to see what Marcellas will say. wink.gif

Update at 9:45 AM - Janelle and Howie just left HOH after talking with George. CG is NOT putting up Janelle or Howie. CG offered Jan/How a deal to vote to keep Erika in the house. So who is he putting up???

Update at 10:35 AM - CG just told Erika that he's planning on putting Will up in James' place and is still telling Erika that she's safe. Erika is very worried.

Update at 12:10 PM - James took himself off and CG put up Howie!!!! OMG!!!!

Update at 12:30 PM - FOUR hours until eviction!!!

Update at 3:30 PM - Been on trivia for about 40 minutes now. *sigh*

Update at 4:04 PM - I'm in the process of trying to find out if there is definitely going to be a feed blackout tonight or this weekend. I will let y'all know as soon as I know something definitive.

The Chicken Man Speaketh

Wowza!!! Was this a freaking great show tonight or what?

I'm so glad that Boogie won the Coup d'Etat. I wonder how many Janatics out there will email CBS etc whining that she didn't win.

I wasn't surprised that Marcie went home but I was kinda surprised that it was a unanimous vote. I'm glad though that Marcie doesn't feel any ill will towards Danielle.

I thought I was going to have a heart attack when CG won the HOH! I was so afraid of who he might nominate since it's a Double Eviction week and somebody's going home on Sunday. I was just sure Will was going to be put up. I was so freaking glad when I heard his noms. At least I was glad for the moment.

And then George nominates James and Erika??? Wow! Why Erika? I get James but why Erika? Not that I'm a fan of hers but it's not making sense to me right now.

Somebody please fan me. I'm having palpitations just thinking of everything that will be going on in the next few days.

But am I loving the drama? Hell yes I am! LOL

The feeds came back on and there's a meeting in the workout room. Seems CG will be approached about putting Janelle up in place of someone so that she can be voted out. If he doesn't, he'll be gone next.

But remember.....Boogie has the Coup d'Etat and will have the ability to replace two nominations in the next two (was three before tonight) weeks OR RATHER the next two HOH comps. CG needs to think about that too.

This game is crazy and I can't wait to find out what happens next!!! I need some more time for all of this to sink in! LOL

Double Standards

Something's been bugging me in the Big Brother community lately. I see it here on Silly Hamsters and I see it on all of the other Big Brother sites out there. It's the Janaticism out there.

Now before all the Janatics out there start throwing stuff at their computer screens and cussing me out let me finish.

I totally get that Janie has a lot of fans. I completely understand how her fans want her to go all the way in the game and take home the big money. I get it and I think most people get it. Hell, as I posted yesterday, I started off being a Janie fan. I quickly began to dislike her gameplay and I've been getting mucho entertainment watching her get played by CT/LOD. But do I hate her? NO! Do I despise her? NO! Do I wish her ill will? NO! Have I ever trashed her on this site like others have? NO! Would I rather somebody else win? YES! If she wins will I be upset? NO!

Now back to the Janaticism. I'm not using that term for her 'regular' fans. I'm using that term for her fans that believe if somebody doesn't like Janelle then they must have a case of Janellousy. Because obviously everybody wants to look like Janie and be smart like Janie and have Janie's job and live like Janie does and travel where Janie goes and I could go on and on and on. But we've all heard it and know exactly what I'm talking about.

The Janatics spend so much time drinking the Janelle Kool-Aid that they don't even see her gameplay (or lack thereof) this season. And hell hath no fury compared to a Janatic. With the exception of Howie, they feel all of the other hamsters are liars and backstabbers and bitches and so on. If you even mention the name 'James' you can sense their heads spinning 'round and 'round and know it will only be a matter of time before the word 'evil' spews from their mouths and onto their keyboards.

What's so wrong with not being a fan of Janie's? Why is it so wrong to have liked her last season and NOT like her this season? Why is everybody in that house so bad and Janie's not? I've seen the same sort of crap spew from Janie's lips that I've seen spew from others in that house so why is Janie held up on this pedestal like she's some sort of goddess?

Please Janatics! Tell me!

* HD puts on her Janatic flak jacket*

Legion Of Doom

Well we didn't really learn much more tonight from the show except that Howie gave the wrong answer for the Coup d'Etat. OK! Not officially wrong yet but we'll find that out on Thursday's show. And dayum they're going to have a lot to fit in on Thursday.

There's the Coup d'Etat, the Prom results, the halfway season party (food fight), the eviction, the new HOH comp - much more than we usually have on Thursdays. Chenbot better be on her game. I don't think my heart could stand another re-do on an HOH competition. LOL

But I'm actually kinda glad how things have worked themselves out this week. At first I was soooo severely pissed about the complete re-do. Now I'm fine with it. It's been fun watching Janelle get played more and more by CT/LOD.

I really hope that they can flip the vote and get Marci voted out but if they can't I'm not going to cry over Erika being sent home. I'll be happy either way! hehehehehe

Back to tonight's show, I'm glad they showed more on the LOD. I'm sure it had to be confusing for those who mostly watch the show and just check the feeds or scan the spoilers occasionally. But now the non-feeders are caught up for the most part. Because we all have our non-feeder friends who ask us about what's going on on the live feeds. I don't know about y'all, but this week has been a crazy one to tell them about! LOL

So is anybody confident that Marci will be going home? Is anybody confident that Erika will be going home? Which of the two would you rather go home?

And BTW, I hope you all saw the new artwork underneath my profile over there on the right. Erin, one of Silly Hamsters' readers, sent that to me just so that I could see it. I loved it so much I asked her if I could put it up on SH and thankfully she gave me the thumbs up. I hope y'all love it as much as I do. I think she did a great job. biggrin.gif

Four More Weeks

It's hard to believe but we only have four more weeks left in Big Brother.

The time has absolutely flown by. I remember in the beginning it seemed like it was just dragging. I think it just seemed that way because we already knew these hamsters and didn't get to enjoy 'getting to know them' as we've done in prior seasons. There was also so much leading up to this season. The campaigning, the interviews, the chats, the voting; that was new for all of us going into this All-Star season.

While Will has been and will always be my favorite hamster, I did have other favorites going into it this time around as well. Janelle was one of my favorites (believe it or not), Danielle was (and still is) one that I was looking forward to watching again, I loved Alison being back in (unfortunately they made quick work of her), and believe it or not I was excited about Marcellas too because of all of his insight on the game that I saw from him on House Calls.

Will has been wonderful to watch this season. He's charming and devious and scheming and funny all at the same time. He's been the best thing to watch in the house so far this season.

Janelle has really disappointed me. I was excited when she won Co-HOH and I was really looking forward to watching her create other alliances in the house besides just the rest of the Sovs. The way the game in S6 was played was so different from the previous seasons that I couldn't wait for Janelle to be in a different house atmosphere. Unfortunately, I think she hung around with Howie and Kaysar too much which kept her from really working with the others. Her semi-alliance with CT has come too late. It is fun watching her being played by them though.

Danielle has been a little different from what I expected this time around. I thought she might have been a little 'softer around the edges' but that was thrown out the window from the start wasn't it? I still enjoy watching her though and she's still a favorite of mine.

Alison, well what can I say. Wished you had been around longer. It would have been really cool if her and Janelle could have hooked up and worked together instead of going after each almost immediately. Janelle and Ali would have dominated as a team if only....

Marcellas. The Robe. The Furniture. Whatever. He has disappointed me the most in the house. I really expected him to do more than lounge around in that fucking robe and eye mask all day and all night long. I really didn't think it would be possible for him to bitch and moan more than he did in S3 and he's surprised the hell out of me. His whining this season makes his whining in S3 look like childs play. He doesn't strategize - well maybe he does in his head and we just don't see it. As much as it pains me to say it, Erika has been smarter in this game than Marci has. No gameplay. Big disappointment.

Now let me tell you about one of the most surprising things I didn't expect to occur this season. I like James! I don't know if his gameplay will get him to the end but I absolutely love how he's approached this game all season long. He's playing for himself and only himself. That's very dangerous but very admirable at the same time. Nobody can call him a floater and for that I truly appreciate him - much more than I thought I ever would in the game.

So who were your favorites going in to the game this season? Have the hamsters held up to your expectations or have they let you down? Has anybody surprised you in a positive way this season? What about in a negative way?

Y'all are a bunch of really intelligent and thoughtful readers out there and I can't wait to read your wonderful comments. Please don't disappoint me. :)

Weird Ending

Was that a weird ending to tonight's show or not? I don't recall Big Brother ever ending like that.

Wonder what that means for Tuesday's show.

The ending that I'm talking about is after the finishing credits had rolled, instead of going to commercial for the next show or whatever it went back to Big Brother. They showed a full moon in the sky and then showed Erika and Boogie in bed together. Boogie asked if he could have a kiss. They kissed. Erika told Boogie good night. No music in the background - just that. And then CBS went to commercial.

Update at 7:50 PM - The hamsters were just given the third clue. It was The Grim Reaper. So Boogie's guess earlier was a correct one. The phrase is, 'You reap what you sow.' I can't wait to see how Boogie will use his new power. Woo hoo!

The Black Widow Wins POV

FINALLY, I heard it confirmed on the live feeds by Howie that Danielle won the POV.

The feeds have been back on for awhile and the house is cuh-razy! Seems James might have thrown the POV and when the feeds came back James, Janelle, and Howie were in the HOH yelling at each other. Boogie and Danielle celebrated in the SR. Erika, Dani, and Marcellas (who seemed rather nervous) in the red room talking about them three going to Janelle and telling her all about James. Boogie and Will at the kitchen table and then the workout room before James comes in there and tells them they should go talk to Janelle in HOH. During all of this, Chicken George was cleaning the kitchen. ROFLMAO

Janelle is either putting CG up in Dani's place or one of CT it seems with the intent of Erika going home. Will talking to Janelle about possibly putting up James now. Howie would like to see Marcellas put up. Really, I hope CG gets puts up and goes home! LOL

Update at 5:45 PM - Big Brother just gave them their second clue in the backyard!

Since Ya Brought It Up

While the hamsters are getting ready for the POV competition coming up soon I thought I would address something.

Several people have commented on this and even more have emailed me about it. What is it?

It's about whether or not Boogie and Erika are really together.

Check out the YouTube clips below and tell me what you think about it in the comments. wink.gif

Here's more video from YouTube of a kinda makeout session between Boogie and Erika.

And here's the video of Boogie proposing to Erika.

Sooooo....whatcha think?

Dani & Erika

Finally they're back from flames. Nobody's really talking about the noms. It seems though that Janelle nominated Danielle and Erika.

Update at 8:05 PM - Just got confirmation for me. W/B/Dan talking about putting Marcellas up as a replacement with hopes of Marcellas going home.

I can't wait for the POV comp tomorrow! And I can't wait to find out who won the Coup d'Etat on Thursday and see when they will use it!

Of Course

Janelle wins HOH. Somehow I had a sneaking suspicion that this was the way it would turn out.

janhoh1.jpg

I'm off to bed now. *yawn*

Update August 11th at 5:24 AM - No explanation needed as to how the game works as we've seen it a million times. The YouTube video below misses the very beginning but you see everything else including how they act at the end.

Posted by HamsterDame at 11:04 PM | Comments (69)

Do-Over!

The HOH re-do is scheduled it seems for 10:30 tonight - a little more than an hour away. Ya ready?

Update at 9:22 PM - It's official at the CBS site!

COUP D'ETAT Julie then announces a new twist that puts the game on a whole new level: the Coup d'Etat. Whoever wins this power will have the ability to overthrow the HoH and replace their nominations on the spot at any of the next three evictions. The Coup d'Etat has an added twist, though, as only the winning HouseGuest will know what they have won, and the power will remain secret until it is used.

New HoH Erika is not allied with the Legion of Doom, so what will she do? The S-6 alliance has been decimated, with Janelle and Howie now vulnerable. Will they be targeted, or will Chilltown be in Erika's sights? Don't miss the next episode of BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS, Sunday, August 13, 8pm ET/PT, only on CBS.

Due to technical malfunction of the buzz-in device, Big Brother will be redoing the Head of Household Competition. It will be broadcast during Sunday night's show.

Update at 10:10 PM - Everybody, except Danielle of course, will get to play in the HOH competition again.

Lamb To The Slaughter

Tonight was eviction night. Show started off with blah blah. Then there was a CT segment where we got to see cute pics of Will and Boogie when they were younger. James nullified Janelle's vote. Live voting happened.

At 5:34 PM BB time I thought the earth was going to fall off its axis and start roaming through outer space. Yes, that was the minute Kaysar was evicted 5-1. Happy Birthday Kaysar!

Kaysar told JC the game was not for him. JC pulled a very un-Chenbot move and really tried to ruin his bday. What a robot beyotch! J/K!! JC laid it all out how James wasn't really with the Sovs and was really gunning for Janelle and Kaysar just got caught up in the crossfire. Kaysar watched videos. He smirked alot and shook his head during James'. He said again he didn't belong in the game. He said this about 3 or 4 times tonight so get off my jock.

Time for the haunting segment. Blah blah. We all know about it. Holly called Will Dr. Delicious. I think I'm going to have to pick that one up myself. hahaha

Oh no! Julie said there was going to be another week's worth of competitions. Yeah. Whatever. You said that the last two weeks Chenbot. Not buying it anymore. Blech.

Time for HOH. The order they were out: George, Marcellas, Janelle, Howie, Will, Boogie, James. Erika wins HOH! Will be interesting I think to see what she does. *just felt the live feeds from Sov subscribers from across the USA being turned off*

Oh well - more bandwidth for me! laughing.gif

Now speaking of what Erika might do, the matter might be moot. Not mute. Moot! LOL

Here Julie explains the Coup d'Etat to us. Quoted: "In any of the next three eviction episodes, the winner of the Coup d'Etat will have the ability to overthrow the Head of Household and replace nominations on the spot right before the voting takes place. No one except the winner of this power will know what it is until the power is used."

Hamsters now in the backyard and JC addresses them. She tells them that over the next few days they will be given clues to a well-known phrase that applies to the Big Brother game. They will be able to disclose their guess in the Diary Room. The first person to correctly guess the phrase will win the power. They only have one chance to guess the correct answer. The winner will find out one week from tonight. Their first clue awaits them in the house.

clue3.jpg

I hope they didn't allow Howie to get much closer to that ewe! ohmy.gif

clue8.jpg

So what's the phrase everybody????

Update at 8:25 PM - Tonight's HOH scandal is already spreading across the net tonight. Check out this article!

Update at 8:33 PM - Sounds like on the feeds that Big Brother is going to RE-DO the HOH competition that happened earlier tonight. Wow!!!! And Danielle has the HOH key back on her neck. Wow!!!!

Update at 8:45 PM - A few minutes ago, Will said he didn't think that Big Brother would have time to do both the new HOH competition and the Food competition tomorrow so maybe they would cancel the Food comp. Well, I doubt that would happen as there are the returning houseguests participating (which they don't know yet). But it does seem like the new HOH competition might be happening tomorrow! WOW!

Blast From The Past

Ex-HouseGuests to visit 'Big Brother' by John Powell

The "Big Brother All-Star" HouseGuests are about to see some familiar faces.

According to CBS, several former HouseGuests will lend a hand in this week's Head of Household, Food and Veto Competitions.

The first group of former HouseGuests will return for a surprise cameo appearance to air Thursday, Aug. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) during the live eviction show. The former HouseGuests will be incorporated into the HOH competition, which will require this season's All Stars to recall specific clues they have received from the former Houseguests throughout the week in order to be crowned this week's HOH.

Another group of former Houseguests will return to serve as judges during this week's Food Competition to air on Sunday, Aug. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). Former Houseguests are also playing a role in the Veto Competition to air on Tuesday, Aug. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

The surprise appearances will likely be seen on the 24/7 "Big Brother" live Internet feeds before they are broadcast on the series. Last night on the feeds, the HouseGuests began seeing ghostly images of former HouseGuests in the windows and mirrors of the house.

On this Thursday's live show, host Julie Chen will explain the "Coup d'Etat," twist which will enable one person to overthrow the HOH at a moment's notice and since Janelle Pierzina won the Veto Competition on last night's broadcast, either Kaysar Ridha or James Rhine will be evicted on that show.

From here

If you still haven't signed up for the live feeds, I think this would be a good time to do it! Get the feeds here!

So what are the clues? What could they point to? And which former hamsters will be participating in the upcoming comps?

Update at 10:45 AM - Another sighting in the ant room by James. He called everybody in and the 'face' made an appearance again. Looked like Cappy from last season. It was quite funny actually!

Huge

The biggest thing we learned tonight in the show is who actually won what in the POV competition. Most of them we already knew but there were a couple that we got clarification of.

#1 - Janelle for the cots and hot water
#2 - Dani for the 24-hour isolation
#3 - James for the margarita party
#4 - Boogie for the plasma TV
#5 - James for the phone call
#6 - Janie for slop for the week for those not participating in POV
#7 - Boogie for the trip to Aruba
#8 - Janelle for the can't play for veto next week
#9 - Will for the $5000
#10 - Marcellas for the season-long slop pass

Of course the big one that most didn't know about was that Janelle (and not Boogie) is the one that can't play for Veto next week. That might be the nail in her coffin next week. The joke fits tonight's POV theme so no hate mail please.

What can Janelle do to keep herself safe next week?

Oh, and I can't help but to post a pic of my favorite guy on the show tonight...

will.jpg

Update at 9:35 PM - Is there a haunting in progress at the Big Brother house tonight? Check out what Erika saw about 5 minutes ago. She said she thought it looked like Alison (who left week one) and totally freaked. And of course then she began kinda crying and went running to Boogie's arms. Maybe I would have freaked out after seeing it but I would never have run to Boogie. Will all the way baby.

I thought it looked more like Maggie than Alison (like Erika thought). So what's up with this folks???

Kaysar & James

Well now The Iraqi Peach is up for eviction. And then there's James.

I applaud Dani for not falling for the 'put Marcellas up' chatter. Her object was to put up two SeaSixers and she did it. She didn't waiver, fall to her knees, and ask for protection. She kept her word to Howie and didn't put him up. We all know that Janelle was the original target this week but Janelle saved herself.

So we have Kaysar and James. Up. On. The. Block.

I'm pretty sure of who I think is going home but what do you think? How will James' vote nullification play out? Who do you think will be voting for who? Might it even be a tie-breaker?

And remember, it's a live vote on Thursday.

A Letter

Dear Big Brother,

I've been watching you since you began in 2000. I have had many great days, nights, mornings, afternoons, hours, minutes and seconds partaking of your streaming video goodness and quality TV programming.

This letter is to thank you for the POV competition yesterday. I have been known to bitch and moan about how spoiled and coddled I think the hamsters are. I want to thank you for taking away their beds and the hot showers this week. Oh, and thank you for taking away the PB&J this time. I like watching them on slop much more!

Some are upset with you about Danielle being in solitary confinement with a port-a-potty but I'm not. I like Danielle in this game but I realize she put herself in that position. So thank you for letting me watch her being miserable. She'll be just fine I'm sure.

I would like to ask you for a few more things though since you seem to be in a giving and taking mood this week.

Please take the couch out of the red room. His Royal Highness 'The Robe' seems to have deemed himself too good to sleep on a cot or on the floor. While you're at it, could you also remove the couches in the living room? I don't mind if you keep the chairs there though.

Please follow through on the promise of competitions each day this week but pretty please don't give them any more stuff. Maybe something where you take more stuff away? And maybe you could let us live feeders watch? Just a thought.

Please give them a task to do. I don't mean a fun task though. I've watched them dye, paint, and embellish enough t-shirts in that house to last me a lifetime. No ceramics or pinata stuff either. Been there. Done that. Maybe you could tie them all together with rope and they have to maneuver around the house like that all day? Promise them something really good to win if they can do it (like alcohol) for the night but them give them one beer apiece.

One final request Big Brother because I know you're busy. Could you please lower the flame/trivia music? It really hurts my ears. I'm sure my family members and neighbors would thank you also.

Well, I just want to thank you again on the great job yesterday Big Brother. I hope you take some of my suggestions into consideration.

Love always,
HamsterDame

Janie!!!

Janie won the POV!!!!

janiepov2.jpg

Wow!

Update at 4:55PM - Remember Thursday night when Julie told the hamsters that there would be a week's worth of competitions that will find them making "difficult choices between power and temptation?" Sounds like the POV comp today dealt with some of that.

Seems like it was some kind of points or deal. The person with the most points won the POV. Janie had 55 points, Dani had 49 points, and James had 32 points. The hamsters competing were: Danielle, James, Janelle, Marcellas, Will, and Boogie. I'm still trying to figure out who won what in the POV comp and so far I've put together:

* Danielle will be on 24-hour solitary confinement when she goes back in the house.
* The whole house will have to sleep on cots and will have no hot water.
* James won a phone call and a margarita party.
* Boogie won $10,000 and $5,000 cash.
* Will won a plasma TV and a trip to Aruba.
* 3 people are on slop (Erika, Kaysar, and Howie).
* Boogie can't play for Veto next week. (?)
* Marcellas won a Season-Long 'No-Slop' pass (different from the won in the HOH comp)

If you've got more details post them in the comments. It's confusing trying to figure out what went down! laughing.gif

Update at 6:10 PM - Well, their outside lockdown is over and they're back in the house. Danielle is in solitary confinement in what was formerly the workout room. The HOH cot is hilarious!!!!!

Tick Tock

This should be one of the best Big Brother weeks ever!!!! cool.gif

After waking up this morning and listening to Howie/Janelle/Kaysar in the bathroom for over thirty minutes it still shocks me to hear them. They're still thinking this is Season 6 and approaching this game that way! Howie wants to go Busto on Marcellas? Pulease. They want to call the floaters the 'Float Herd'. How original!

Kaysar says, "They're going to try to send you (Janelle) home and break up our alliance."

Gee!!! You think so Kaysar??? Really??? OMG!!!!

*alerts the media*

Update at 6:00 PM - Big shocker here. Dani put up James and Janelle. Now back to your regularly scheduled live feeds.

Caught In A Web

Well tonight was the eviction show. I'm not going to run down the 'regular' stuff that's shown on the show because, well, you'll see it yourselves if you watch.

On to what we really wanted/expected/hoped for. And endurance HOH competition.

'Caught In A Web'

The object of this competition is to be the last person hanging on to the spider web. This HOH comp will kick off a week's worth of comps that will find you making difficult choices between power and temptation. There are 5 golden eggs on a table in the backyard covered in spider web 'stuff'. One egg has a 'slop-free' pass and is transferable to another HG - CG is eligible to have it. Another egg gives the power to cancel someone else's eviction vote and is good for one week. A third egg contains $10,000. The first five people to drop out of the comp can claim one of those golden eggs. However, two of the eggs are rotten.

Now they're climbing up on to the web. They have to grab the web from underneath by their arms and legs. They CAN move around on the web but If any part of their body touches the mat below they will be eliminated. However they're all just laying on it. *confused*

The spider web gets raised and they go to commercial.

Back from commercial. Julie gives us the schedule: Sunday the HOH winner will be revealed on the show and we'll see who the HOH noms. On Tuesday, we'll see the POV comp and who wins and how it will affect the nominees. On Thursday will be a live vote and eviction "plus in a Big Brother first, we'll introduce the Coup d'Etat - this new twist will enable one person to overthrow the HOH at a moment's notice." Interesting.

The show ends with the huge spider from atop the web spewing some kind of stuff on them (looks like whipped cream or something). They're all laughing. Wait. Marcellas looks pretty serious. Might he actually be wanting to win this thing?

How late are y'all willing to stay up tonight? LOL

Update at 6:17 PM - Will drops out and chooses an egg. It's a rotten egg!

webcomp1.jpg

webcomp2.jpg

webcomp3.jpg

Update at 6:48 PM - Everybody's still on the web except for Will (who dropped out) and Janie (who can't compete). Will and Janie have been chatting in the house while the others on the web are playing the movie game while the web is slanted and moved around.

Update at 7:17 PM - Same people as above are still in. This is getting boring. *yawn*

Update at 7:40 PM - Janelle reads an envelope from BB. When she says 'Go', they'll have one minute to reposition themselves below the web and hold themselves with just their arms and legs. Finally! They're going to have to actually hang from the web. About freaking time! I could win too if I had to just lay in a hammock all night long. LOL

Update at 7:48 PM - Thank God that didn't take long! James is out now. James picked his egg and unfortunately got the egg that cancels out someone else's eviction vote this week. *shit*

webcomp19.jpg

Update at 7:50 PM - Boogie's out. Kaysar's out. (Boogie got the $10,000 egg. Kaysar got a rotten egg.)

Update at 7:56 PM - Been flames for seems like freaking forever. Comes back and Marcie's out and he's pissed. Marcie's egg had the slop pass in it. Howie's still in it as is Erika, Dani, and Chicken George it appears.

Update at 7:59 PM - CG falls!

Update at 8:04 PM - Dani begging Howie to fall. Says he'll be safe. Howie says he really wants it though. Erika still strong.

Update at 8:07 PM - Howie asks Dani if he's safe (if he falls). Both of them (Dani and Erika) promise Howie he'll be safe. He says he can't hold on anymore. Erika drops. Then Dani drops.

DANIELLE wins HOH!!!!

danihoh.jpg

And Janelle puts the key around Danielle's neck.

Update at 8:17 PM - Just a thought. I wonder if Marci will ask to sleep in Dani's HOH bed???? Bwahahaha!

Quick Question

One question and one question only:

Who do you think would put themself in the best position by winning this next HOH?

The question's not who you want to win. LOL The question is who would benefit the MOST from winning the next HOH.

No Vote Today

So what do you guys think about how the hamsters didn't vote today? If you didn't know about it already, the HGs were called in like they normally would be on voting day but when Diane came out of the DR she slipped and said something about how they weren't voting today. It seemed after she said it that she wasn't supposed to have said anything about it because of the reactions from others.

First of all, Diane wouldn't have been in there to vote since she's on the block and can't vote. So she was probably called in for a regular DR about how she's feeling about being on the block and blah blah blah. And later this afternoon, Dani asked Erika if they (Erika and Diane) were going to get their suitcases (to pack) and she said yes.

So everybody's been talking about some sort of twist for this week. I have no idea if there will be one or not but I must say that if a twist was scheduled, I would imagine CBS would be pumping out promos left and right for it. I haven't seen a single promo for this week out of the ordinary.

Will there be a live vote tomorrow? I think there's a good possibility of it even though there are so many voters in the house (8). Will there be an endurance comp for HOH tomorrow evening? I have no idea but I think there's a great possibility of that as well.

Think about it, what is usually shown on Thursday shows? The show usually starts with the hamsters assembled in the living room. The fabulous Chenbot picks a couple of peeps to talk to. There's the HOH interview with JC. There's the vote announcement and actual eviction followed by the interview with Julie in the studio. Then there's the HOH competition. And the follow-up with JC and the hamsters in the house after the HOH has been won. Don't forget about the short fluff piece(s) shown usually as well.

But then how does this week's worth of competitions that we never saw come into place? Remember? Before the HOH comp last Thursday Julie said that that HOH competition would kick off a week's worth of comps. They had the HOH comp on the show, Food comp that night, Wake-Up Calls that night (or rather Saturday morning), POV comp Saturday morning, Luxury Comp on Sunday, and the POV ceremony on Monday. I don't know about you but I missed the comps that were done on Monday, Tuesday, and today. So I'm confused by the JC.

Also before the HOH comp last Thursday, the wonderful JC said that somebody might be "single-handedly responsible" for determining the fates of their fellow housemates. Do you think this has to do with the hamsters' not voting today? What do you think this will or will not have to do with tomorrow's eviction show?

Any ideas as to what's going on tomorrow?

Update at 8:17 PM - Seems like an extended inside lockdown is coming up. 20 hours long according to Boogie. Just in time for tomorrow night's show. Hmmmm.

Update at 8:40 PM - Inside lockdown started.

Update August 3rd at 6:45 AM - JC just confirmed on The Early Show that voting will indeed be live on the show tonight.

Update August 3rd at 9:15 AM - Another eviction on Tuesday eh? Check out the 'American Wins Official Rules' site on CBS and the weekly entry period update at the bottom of that page.

Time After Time

So tonight was the POV/Wake-Up Calls show. I loved the show! I think it was one of the best yet. Unfortunately the producers didn't have enough time in the show to show all of the flip-flopping in the house that we've been treated to this week. They had to show us the POV Comp. And the Wake-Up Calls.

The Wake-Up Calls segment was wonderful! I was disappointed that they didn't include any footage of the Slop Song submitted by Ricky in Minnesota that you can find linked to a few posts down from this one. Loved Will jumping out of bed. Loved Marcellas being the drama queen at that moment. Loved watching all of the POV players jumping out of bed and running out to the BY in less than 60 seconds.

And what about the POV Comp? It was freaking great!!! I was sitting here at home watching the letters and thinking of how I would do after a night of being sleep-deprived. I don't think I would do too good. Big Brother should do more comps like this. I loved the austere setup. I loved the concept. I loved everything about that POV Comp. I really wish Big Brother would do more comps (HOH & POV) with this different kind of attitude! It is Big Brother All-Stars after all!

Watching James pissed off in the DR tonight was great. Watching Janie set her foot down in the HOH room was great. Watching not-so-much of CG tonight was a nice change. Watching James pissed off in the DR tonight was great. Oh wait - I already said that.

I actually love how James is playing his game. I was glad seeing Janie take a step away from the Sovs even if it was by accident which I don't believe it was entirely.

How far their strategies carry them in the game is of course yet to be seen. Personally, I hope it works out for them. I hope that ANY OF THEM PLAYING THE GAME makes it far. I want to see somebody PLAY THE GAME. And PLAY IT to the fullest extent. So y'all know who I'm rooting for. LOL

And, of course, I'm rooting for my man Will. I absolutely loved his game in S2 and he's pretty damned good this season. I can't wait to see how far he goes this season.

Cheers to Will & Boogie for yet another great team DR shown at the end of tonight's show! I was laughing my ass off! Loved it!

Up On The Block

Yesterday I posted wanting opinions on the Sovs and y'all certainly didn't disappoint! I think the comments on that post were some of the best ones I've received so far! Bravo to all of you that were brave enough to contribute your thoughts. Hopefully you'll feel the craving to comment on this one as well! LOL

I would like to discuss the two hamsters currently up on the block - Diane and Erika.

I don't understand their lack of 'game'. I find Diane annoying and Erike even more annoying. Erika is so 'blah' and Diane is so pitiful. Both of them just rub me the wrong way when I watch them on the feeds. They are the only two players in the game whose 'game' I just don't get.

Is it just me??? What am I missing? What is up with these two?
