An Interview With...

Guess what? It happened - again! A second interview with Marcellas Reynolds from Big Brother Season 3. It took a little longer than expected but he had some great answers to my questions. It must be crazy for all of the possible 20 right now getting ready for possibly going into the house so I appreciate Marcellas taking time out of his hectic schedule to answer some questions for me and for y'all.

Well, I hope you enjoy the interview. Tell me what you think! And after you've left a comment here, be sure to check out Marcellas' Myspace and drop him a line. Maybe even go for an add!

First of all, if you're put back into the house for Big Brother All-Stars will you miss doing House Calls with Gretchen? Do you know if Gretchen is voting to put you back in?

House Calls is a huge part of my life. I'll miss it terribly. I'll probably pull the HGs aside everyday and interview them out of habit! Gretchen has become like a touchstone for me. She's a very, very close friend. It's good to know I'll have an ally outside sending me good thoughts and pulling for me. As far as G voting for me she better be!

Of the 19 others announced, who might you want to align with the most in the house? The least?

I intend to align with... Wait! No comment. I'll just say this, I'll trust no one!

How much are you looking forward to possibly being in the house with Danielle? Do you think there would be any past drama between yourselves brought up?

I don't think All Stars would be All Stars without Danielle. There's a myth in the cosmos that she's one of the all time great players. It will be interesting to see her work it this time. A far as the past, it's just that. I don't intend to be calling anyone Busto or yelling, "Bye bye bitches."

Do you think one or some of the possible 20 house guests don't deserve to have another chance in the game?

I think that any of the 75 House Guests who have played this game the past 6 years were eligible. Were they All Stars? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

How might you change your 'game' if you're voted or placed back in the house?

The game remains the same. This time I know to put myself 1st. That's the big difference this go round.

Who of the 19 others do you think played the best game in their respective seasons?

Will, Lisa, Alison, Diane, Janelle were all amazing players their seasons and each deserved to win even if they didn't.

Is there any former house guest that's not part of the 20 that you wish could be in the house with you?

I loved Holly. I thought she was funny. Hardy is one of the All Time Greats and he's sexy! How can you not have the reigning HoH champion. Nicole would have been awesome also. I was strangely looking forward to Amy. I wanted to see if she'd matured and I was hoping to see if I relationship could have been fixed. Like a 3 month long couples therapy session!

Will you bring Boo into the house with you?

Boo is far too busy. Plus he thinks reality TV is bad for his image.

If you won the Veto again, would you take yourself off the block?

Nope.

Might you use any parts of a previous houseguest's strategy to stay in the house?

I think a smart player especially this season must study the game. I have. I intend to take the best parts of every past great players strategy and make it my own. And I hope I'll be able to identify what other players are doing!

If they take away the PB&J as punishment, what would you NOT want them to replace it with?

Hummus. Sardines. Liver. Bologna. The list goes on and on.

What are you going to miss the most outside the house if you're chosen to go back in?

My friends and family. My gigs on TV. I'm really busy in the summer. As far as silly things; my iPod, my phone, my walks with my friend Melanie, shopping, TV, my roommate, sex, my bedroom and my bathroom which is like my own private spa.

Finally, could you please tell us in your own words why you would like to play in Big Brother All-Stars?

I think more than anything I wanna go back because it was fun. There were times that were just precious (as Amy would say). Though Season 3 had it's bad points and ended badly for me I have more happy memories than bad. It was like summer camp for adults. I'm looking forward to hangin'!

Now me, HamsterDame, asks you to go vote for Marcellas! And check out his blog here for some interesting BB tidbits!

Campaign! Campaign! Campaign!

In case you haven't noticed, at just about every Big Brother site you go to possible HGs have been campaigning and campaigning hard. There are chats and interviews all over the place and most of the possible hamsters have their own sites where they're workin' it. Be sure to check out the links on my sidebar and you can food oogles of additional info.

As far as chats and interviews go, some of them are at these sites:

RealityBBQ
TV Clubhouse (TVCH)
BigBrotherLink.com
Joker's Updates
Reality News Live

As far as the hamster's own sites (different from their Myspaces):

Alison
Dana
Diane
Erika
Chicken George
Howie
Ivette
James
Janelle
Kaysar
Lisa
'Cowboy' Michael
Mike Boogie
Dr. Will

And hopefully I'll have an interview up for you tomorrow! :)

Update from HamsterDame on 06/27 - Well folks, it seems like the interview has flaked out. The 'possible houseguest' that had agreed to an interview and was supposed to respond by yesterday still hasn't - but I'm sure they're really busy so I guess it's no biggie. Sorry to disappoint y'all. I wish them luck. LOL

And another update from HamsterDame on 06/27 - Guess what? The interview is complete! It'll be up this afternoon!

Are You Voting?

So are all of you out there voting? If not, you better jump on it! You can cast your vote here!

If you are voting, make sure you click on the little black bar that says 'Vote For Me' underneath their photographs. Clicking on their picture does not count as a vote. I know it sounds stupid but a lot of people out there have been clicking on the picture thinking it's a vote for that potential houseguest.

I'm sure a lot of you have been reading about voting bots around the BB circles. It seems like the best one out there right now is the autovoter at Novati. The concept is simple. Click on the Novati link I just gave you and you'll get a page that will automatically refresh with the vote totals so far. Then click on the person you want to vote for and it will load a page that will keep on voting over and over for whichever houseguest you want it to. Now there are other bots and autovoters out there but they're filled with ads and a couple of them have been rumored to have adware and/or spyware. So if I were you, I'd stick with the Novati site if you're going to do the autovoting thing.

Now with that said, how do you guys feel about autovoting? If you'll remember back a little, these things were used to help get Kaysar back into the house last season. Do you think using autovoters is just fine or do you think it's not fair?

Oh, and keep an eye out on Silly Hamsters in the new few days. I'll have an interview with one of the possible 20 houseguests posted soon!

The 20

Well ladies and gents we have our 20. I wasn't too surprised at most of them. The one that probably surprised me the most was Ivette. I really wasn't expecting her to be in there. Anyways, here are the 20 and the season of Big Brother they were from.

S1 - 'Chicken' George

S2 - Bunky
S2 - Dr. Will
S2 - Mike 'Boogie'
S2 - Monica

S3 - Marcellas
S3 - Lisa
S3 - Danielle

S4 - Erika
S4 - Dana
S4 - Alison

S5 - Jase
S5 - Michael or 'Cowboy'
S5 - Nakomis
S5 - Diane

S6 - Howie
S6 - Kaysar
S6 - Ivette
S6 - James
S6 - Janelle

So there it is folks. The possibles. The 20.

It's too bad we couldn't have all of them in the house. Can you imagine how packed it would be??? But it would be great fun for us to watch. I thought the show was pretty good last night and it was a hoot seeing all that footage again. I cracked up when they showed Lisa and her hilarious utterance about being able to orgasm just from having her navel touched right. I'd forgotten all about that until they showed that again. And the names of some of the alliances over the seasons: Chill Town, Elite 8, The Four Horsemen. Loved it! And did anybody catch that there's 14 screens on the memory wall instead of just 12 for each of the houseguests? An upcoming twist perhaps????

So what do you all think about these 20? Who are your favorites and who could you live without seeing in the house again? Personally, it's going to be tough for me to whittle down that list to just 12. Even harder to pick just one to vote for each day but then there's that 'cookies' thing. LOL

So go vote! Vote early and vote often! LOL

Talk At Me My Fellow BB Fans & Freaks

Tonight is the Big Brother Casting Special (CBS - 8:00 PM ET) that we've all been waiting for. Who are the wonderful 20 hopefuls that AS/AG has for us? Are they going to be the ones we really want? Are they going to be smart enough? Cunning enough? Pretty enough? Poor enough? Just kidding about that last one! :)

Now we know a lot about the hamsters (whoever they will be) already. Some will be fresher in our minds than others. We'll remember each of them for different reasons be them good or bad. But, will we all remember each other here at the Silly Hamsters haven?

Ahhhh yes. HamsterDame (that's me) would like to know a little bit about you - my fantabulous readers. I would also like to know my commenters too. But how do you become a commenter on the Silly Hamsters blog? I'm so glad you asked. It's really easy - trust me. At the end of each post is a 'Comments' link that you can click on. There you can read what other readers had to say and that's also where you can tell me whatever it is you want - but please keep it Big Brother-related. You can disagree or agree with what I've written, expound on the personality of the houseguest named 'Insert Name', or just type in disbelief at what you're seeing on the feeds. Whatever it is you want to say, I'm very interested and welcome it.

Right now, I would like to ask each one of you to tell me a little bit about yourself. I'll start with your Social Security Number, full name, and mother's maiden name. NO - DON'T DO IT! I'm just kidding with you. LOL

I really would like to know some simple stuff. Call me weird but I am interested in each one of you regardless of whether you've ever agreed or disagreed with me. So if you could answer some questions I have for you I would appreciate it greatly. You don't have to answer all of them if you don't want to but I'd love it if you did. I'll even answer them myself in a couple of hours. Just check out the comments on this post to see how I answered and how other Big Brother fans like yourself answered. Here we go!

Q1 - How old are you?
Q2 - Are you male or female?
Q3 - What city/state or city/province or city/country do you live in?
Q4 - How many seasons have you watched Big Brother on TV?
Q5 - How many seasons have you watched the hamsters on the live feeds?
Q6 - Who is your favorite BB houseguest of all time and why?
Q7 - Who have you disliked the most and why?
Q8 - Who do you think played the best 'game' the last six seasons of Big Brother?
Q9 - What was the most bone-headed move by any houseguest in the last six seasons?
Q10 - What has been your most favorite competition (HOH, POV, reward, etc) so far?
Q11 - Are you more or less interested in BB this season?
Q12 - If there was anything you could change about BB what would it be and why?
Q13 - If you could choose any celebrity to stick in the BB house who would it be?
Q14 - Do you think the houseguests should know what time in the day it really is?
Q15 - And finally, are you a return visitor to Silly Hamsters this season or are you a new reader and how did you find out about Silly Hamsters?

Thanks a lot to everybody who answered all or some of the questions above. I really appreciate the time you've taken to respond and if you decided not to respond I still greatly appreciate your visit to Silly Hamsters. I hope I see y'all commenting here throughout this season and I hope we have the best season of Big Brother ever!

Passin' The Word

TV Alerts:

*Big Brother houseguests will be on The Early Show Thursday June 22nd - Wednesday June 28th

And check out my sidebar over there on the right. For all of you Myspacers I have links up to all of the former BB houseguests that I could find. If you know of any more, please send them my way and I'll get them added ASAP.

I would also like to formally put out there that if any of the possible BB houseguests would like to do a little free 'campaigning' here to please email me. After I verify who you say you are, I'll get it all set up. If any of you out there know or are in contact with one of the possible BB houseguests and would like to pass my link on to them so they can 'campaign' here please feel free to do so!

Don't forget to sign up for your live feeds using the link in the previous post and the discount code of bb7early!

Oh, and here's an interesting article on the upcoming Big Brother from the New York Daily News dated today. Here's an interesting quote from it:

In a new twist, after Wednesday's special, viewers can vote for their favorite players. The top three male and top three female vote-getters will be guaranteed entry into the "Big Brother" house, with the producers selecting the remaining six.

Then, at a date not revealed, the 20 will line up outside the house and be told who gets in. That taped show will air July 6 at 8 p.m. to start the "living" part of the series.

Grodner promises alterations in the house - and how the game is played. "There are changes in terms of the challenges, in terms of how hard it is to live in this house," she said. "This is not your mama's 'Big Brother.' It's going to have more edge than it has in the past."

Also scheduled for tonight is a chat over at BB Season 6's James Rhine's site at 9:00 PM ET. I have no idea what he's going to be chatting about but here's the link to join in!

When Holly opened her mouth I grimaced in pain :)

The hookah of Kaysar and the concert of Crow
A visit from Survivors where Sue stole the show
The old POV, the HOH, the new veto of gold
The ten million lies and secrets that were told

The old music of FOTH I still hear in my ears
The 'ball' room I wish could just reappear
Sign language was banned and condiments allowed
The peanut butter bikinis made the guys howl

Not washing hands is truly bad manners
Oh how I miss the planes flying banners
The real tiny pool, the gnomes, and the potato telling time
And pretty please Arnold bring back that great mime!
