Have you noticed how much some of people in the house talk so bad about the BB show? April in particular is constantly saying what a horrible show it is, although Rachel and Maggie seem to have a problem with it, too. Then what in heck are you doing there?? Surely you have watched previous seasons and know what the show entails. It just really irritates me that these people were picked out of thousands, then they have the gall to sit there and complain.

Anyway, after all the hoopla last night and so far this morning, as well, I was kinda hoping the cult would vote off Janelle and not Kaysar. But James is pushing, pushing, pushing to keep to the plan of getting rid of Kaysar this week. But that's because James knows that Kaysar is the real competition, and not anyone in the cult.

I think Howie is going to get kicked out for intimidation. True, he's not throwing things like that guy in season 4 (I think it was season 4), but he's still wreaking havoc for the other house guests, and intimidating the house guests. I feel as if I watching am watching Howie have a total melt down with the ranting and raving,the pacing and shouting make him look as if he is crazy. Why doesn't one is his team mates try to get him under control?

Rachel has taken over the reins of the Sovereign Group. Kaysar has laid down because he's in checkmate unless BB pulls out an SoS deal that leaves him in the house. Howie has flown off the handle and that leaves Rachel and Janey to argue over what to do next. Rachel just told Janey that her plan is to keep James, even reintegrate him into the group, and take out the cultists. Rachel has the ability to be the mastermind of the group in Kaysar's absence. The Sovereign's problem was they let Howie take control.

Howie isn't playing the smartest game. He's after April's jugular and he might just get it. The problem is it might come too late. He either has to step up his pressure or drop it entirely. That's the only way he's going to get a reaction because this "Busto" stuff isn't working.

Howie is just really angry and I can't understand it because nothing makes me angrier than hypocrites and the "Friendship" are the truest form of hypocrites. They trash James for swearing on the bible and lying, then Evette keeps saying "oh my f###ing God, which to me is just as bad. I just want to get it straight from everyone's comments about Howie's behavior...So it was okay for Eric to throw tantrums like a little two year old but if someone else does then it is not right. Have you all forgotten where that behavior came from? Yes, Howie is feeling helpless since he does not have a control over who's going to next but being in the house with all these people things do get a little tense once you start caring about someone. I'm not going to aplaud on his behavior because I dont believe in putting people down and bringing their family down but these people don't have anything to do but to sit there and gossip all day. And that can make any one of us crazy just like all of them. Plus we all know that someone needed to put April back in her place. From day one she is a two-faced "b" and has been trying to play both sides so I don't consider her a weak player, she may not win any competion because of physical weakness but she is mentally very strong. Watching this morning, Howie said he was never going to "give it up Bustie!" and keep on till he broke her. Angelina is correct. Howie has already told his group (dwindling as they are) that his strategy is to break down April so her team is so busy consoling her that they will not be able to focus on the HOH comp. on Thursday. However, it seems that BB has had a talk with both him, Janell, and April...evidently warning them to calm it down, especially with the slanderous remarks.

Kaysar and Janell are sleeping now, 'cause they were up all night after only a few hours sleep till about 4:30 a.m. PT. Kaysar finally went back to bed about 9 a.m. PT and I don't know if Janell ever went back to bed till this afternoon. She was exercising and runing/walking in the BY when I had to go to work at 12 noon PT. But it's for sure they'll spend tonight and into the wee hours talking and staring at each other.

I'm a huge Kaysar fan. I voted for him to return. I do have a huge problem with Jen. She went back on her word and is just rude. I hope Kaysar doesn't go home but if he does fear Howie and Rachel. I'm with Maddy on this one: Kaysar has done a marvelous job in showing that Middle Easterners aren't all fundamentalist crazies, and despite all of the doo-doo that he has gotten himself into over the game, he has done a great service. On the other hand, Howie is doing quite a service to the drunken redneck out-of-control paternalistic boor image of America that is not as popular as some people think. Being Canadian, I find Howie's attitude towards April to be a great disservice to your great nation. Sure, April may deserve it, but what does someone who is watching outside North America think when he or she sees something like this?

I agree that Kaysar has shown the world that Muslims/Iraqis/people of Middle Eastern descent are mostly good people. A few bad apples don't mean all are bad -- as with any race or nationality of people.

I like the guy. I like his self control. I like his polite manner.

But he cannot run the game from outside the house, and he hasn't done well in the game himself up to this point. He DID get evicted once, and despite the fact that he was voted back in, he is about to get evicted a second time.

For him to think he has any real power in this game is as foolish as if any of the houseguests thought the same thing. Power comes and goes and can (and does) change by the minute in Big Brother. The only certainty is to know you won't be evicted this week if you are HOH or if you are not a nominee after POV each week.

I'm loving the Howie thing! It's just another aspect to strategy...the psychological part. He wouldn't hurt her physically. I didn't see Kaysar sitting Janelle and Howie down to talk strategy for next week, but Rachel is absolutely spot on. They have to put their vendetta against James aside for a moment and start eliminating Mansonites (I've adopted this moniker for the cult for two reasons, 1) its obvious connection to Charles Manson's murder-cult and 2) it's connection to Shirley Manson the lead singer of Garbage who sings "Stupid Girl.")

My first target would be the couples. Put up Ivette and April. Whoever gets vetoed off you put up the other nominee's partner. Between Ivette and Beau you take out Ivette (to eliminate James' bridge to the Mansonites) and between April and Jennifer you take out Jennifer (Vengeance for Kaysar). If Sovereign wins it the next week you take out the other couple or Maggie (depending on the outcome of the veto comp. I wouldn't even worry about James until you're up in numbers unless it's become clear that he is siding with the Mansonites (I doubt that he'd ever make his hand obvious though).

If you're the Mansonites you have to consider taking out James next week.

What I'd REALLY love to see though is for a third group to form. Howie, Janelle, and Rachel of the Sovereign. Jennifer, April, and Maggie of the Mansonites. James, Ivette, and Beau forming the Evilettes. THAT'D be good tv.

I don't think BB should let them all sleep in the HOH room. Make the others suffer and stay with the other people.

Mathematically, the numbers just don't add up. It's August 17th, someone is going to be evicted on the 18th...that's one month until the finale on September 20th. As of tomorrow, they'll be 9 houseguests left. In 4 weeks, they'll be 5 houseguests left, unless there are some double evictions. Double eviction is a very real possibility, I just hope it won't be tomorrow. I'd hate to lose my two favorites at the same time.

After Jen made her stupid move & put Kay up on the block, Kay shoulda packed his bags & walked out of the game with his head held high - voluntarily - ruining the plan of the Friendship and forcing Jennifer to put someone else up on the block for Thur's eviction! That woulda been revenge in the sweetest form!!!

No, I didn't watch Kaysar's discussion of strategy, it just seems like the smart way to play. Janelle, Kaysar, and Rachel are currently in the gold room going over possible questions they might be asked. Were the HGs given a heads up as to what the next comp. would be or are they just geniuses?

I've been thinking for a few weeks that were I in the house I'd be taking notice of every little detail of the house (how many fish there are, how many books there are, how many beds there are, etc.) as well as thinking about every competition to date because that's always one of the later comps.
