Who's Beau?
Well, the show was great. Right up until the last 5 minutes. Ugh.
I was so excited when Janelle won the POV and then completely shocked when she took Maggie off and put Ivette up in her place. I wasn't surprised at all that Jennifer was evicted by a vote of 5 to 1 but it was kooky when she took Dan's picture out of her bag and sat it next to her while she was talking with Julie Chen. Weirdo.
In case you haven't heard or figured out by now, Beau is the new HOH. He can't stand Janelle so I'm sure the goal will be for Janelle to be evicted on Thursday.
And that hurts me way more than Kaysar leaving.
Well, the feeds are back on in less than three hours. We'll get to see more of the giant pajama party in the HOH room. Yay.
Update at 9:00 PM - The feeds are on!
Update at 9:07 PM - Nominations have already been held. Howie and Rachel are up on the block.

I can't believe it... I actually found myself rooting for James to get HoH. Ugh.
I'm not sure that Beau will do his own thinking. I think Ivette and Maggie will encourage him to go after Rachel to get rid of their biggest threat and break up a pair.
It'd be nice if James would work some magic to get Ivette to get Beau to go after Maggie....

I thought it was great taking maggie off and putting up evette. It was a guarentee that jen would go. Got move.
Now they came go back to maggie and tell her she was never in danger. James can tell Evette she was always safe. Evette can influence Beau. I'm sure. I won't be surprised if Beau puts up april and janelle. He won't put up maggie because of her friendship with Evette. Out of h/r/j he has had the most disagreements with Janelle. James will have a hand in this call i'm sure of it.Evette is to easy for him to control. James will be safe another week.

I so wanted to see James win that HoH. The anticipation of which side he'll pick to play for is KILLING me.
He's my favorite now so I figure he'll be gone next week :(
I don't really mind Beau having the HoH. Yeah, it's going to be annoying watching those damn fools all sleep in the same room, but at least Jennifer's gone. It's amazing how getting rid of that B*&^h makes me feel so much better about turning the feeds on. Yes, the Mansonites are incredibly boring and so frustratingly annoying that I could stab my eyes out with 2x4s, but somehow Jennifer being gone makes it all ok.
I hate to see one of the Sovereign go next week, but I don't feel the same connection to them that I did Kaysar so whatever.
LET'S GO JAMES!
Posted by: Shane at August 20, 2005 06:25 PM
I'm with you, HamsterDame. I loved the show right up until B***h, oops, Beau won HoH. I actually wanted James to win, only because he's a wild card in the game and could have nominated anyone. I'd be very shocked if Howie and Janelle weren't the ones nominated this week. Though I could see a backdoor in the works ... if there is, I hope this is a non-POV week, and the plan backfires.

Thanks Hamsterdame!!!! Yea Janelle !!!
Posted by: GoTeamKaysar at August 20, 2005 06:29 PM
WHAT!!THIS IS THE NEW PLOT TWIST????
Posted by: don at August 20, 2005 06:29 PM
I TOTALLY agree with you... the show was great until the end... I was surprised that Janelle took Maggie off as well... If the goal was to get rid of Jennifer, was she really that afraid that the Frienship would choose to get rid of Maggie instead? I personally think she should've taken out Maggie instead of Jennifer, no matter how much they wanna get their "payback."
I am very disappointed that Beau won HoH... I'm really scared that he's gonna go after janelle. My concern is, who will the noms pick to play for them during the PoV?? There's only 3 of them left, 2 will go up... they each have to pick a person so that = 4 and 4 > 3 lol Will they pick James?? Can they trust him? I really don't think Ivette will "let" Beau put James up. IMHO James is in the perfect seat right now, b/c of mistakes "we" have made lol (Yes I consider myself part of the Sov lol)
Well there's my venting... In case you are not sure I'm NOT happy!! :(
Posted by: Tracy at August 20, 2005 06:34 PM
Oh yeah, BTW, that was some "new plot twist" they showed tonight!! *ugh* what a crock that was! Got my hopes up for something new and exciting... but instead we saw the same old competitions and eviction... ok, so the eviction "looked live" but... seriously if it was live why would they block the feeds? what difference does it make?
Ok, done venting... for the second time... I think :)

Hamsterdame
any chance seeing a few more of the stories folks sent in. I know there not winners but would be fun to read.
Posted by: jay at August 20, 2005 06:48 PM
Sure Jay. Somebody suggested that earlier this afternoon and it'll be a good idea for Tuesday or Wednesday when there's nothing going on in the house. So look for some more of them in a few days. :)
Posted by: HamsterDame at August 20, 2005 06:53 PM
OK BB6 what was the twist again??? No surprise Jennifer is gone, Janelle was gonna see to her demise. April and Jennifer's lil chat behind the couch just showed how pathetic they both really are. I almost feel bad for Maggie not because I like the team she is on, but even her own team is trying to get rid of her. Beau who??? He doesn't have a clue what to do, I think he'll do what Ivette wants, who in turn will listen to James...the plot thickens. I wait with baited breath, literally for live feed.
BTW, Jennifer sacrificed herself for the team!!!! PLEASE, give me a break.
Posted by: Terri at August 20, 2005 06:53 PM
lol
Beau puts up Howie, who is about the dumbest HG ever. Beau puts up high maintenance Janelle.
Can you say bye bye BITCH.lol
Rach and James are and have been the best on this thing. I have pulled for those 2 from the first. They just know how to play the game. You keep your mouth shut, lay back, strike when needed, then hide some more.
Go Rach and James, the best will come to the top
Posted by: scrpo at August 20, 2005 07:07 PM
It made me sick to hear Jennifer try to sound like a martyr! She didn't sacrifice herself for her team, she was just plain stupid! I loved the eviction. It is a disappointment on HOH.
Posted by: Jean at August 20, 2005 07:07 PM
Ok, I still am waiting on football to finish here in Texas and I have another 1 1/2 hours to go....but I couldn't keep my hands off the computer going back and forth from 10 different BB6 links to find out what happened....Uhhhh the emotions I have gone through tonight....Happy Janie won POV, Happier to see BJ leave,...then ughhh sad to see Beau get HOH???? BB is giving me heart palpitations!!! At least they are keeping me interested....but for the love of God....please give Janelle a week off from being nominated! I am guessing as much as Beau despises Janelle, she isn't a threat to him so I figure he will be told by Evilette to put up Rachel and Howie.
Posted by: Robin at August 20, 2005 07:09 PM
Well, I'M glad Beau got HOH. I know I am in the minority here. But at least we didn't see and hear the obscenity that was going on for the past week.
I actually found myself agreeing with Howie tonight. He IS stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
Now I'm acting like a child. Funny what victory can do to a person. This is sure a lesson in group dynamics, psychology, human nature.
Before the show aired, I was thinking of swearing off BB all together. Maybe CBS knows a little about reality TV. I love the Amazing Race and this year was the first year I actually enjoyed watching Survivor. Yes, CBS is a lot smarter than all of us put together. They can get away with cutting the live feed when they have us all so hooked anyway.
Way to go, Beau! If you think about strategy at all, you will put up James and Janelle. James would be a great pawn. And that way Janelle cannot use him to save her or him. If Janelle's luck holds (how lucky can she be?), the Friendship could still backdoor Howie. It would be best to use James for now and take him out another week. He has been strong in POV competition but has yet to win HOH.
I guess I'll keep watching now that the hysterics are over. My nerves can take a rest now. I'd much rather watch people out smart each other than cuss each other. Don't think I'm totally alone. :)
Posted by: Sharon at August 20, 2005 07:12 PM
Show was good. No twist, just hype from having the feeds off!!
I think James & Maggie will be the ones controlling who goes up because J will work on Ivette and Ivette will work on B. Maggie will also be working on Ivette, so it will be interesting. Also wondering if Maggie will feel indebted to Jannelle for taking her off? I agree with above that the smart nominations would be April & Janelle (Beau will want it for personal reasons) with April being voted off PLEASE!!
James has been my fav from the begining, he reminds me of evil Will. I hope he can hang on an get down to the final 2.
Posted by: kate at August 20, 2005 07:14 PM
beau may be hoh but will he get the bed or the floor, will he decide on his own who to put up? I hope he does because he hates james too. Janelle and beau up who would maggie vote?
Hopefully james and janelle would stay. come on beau take the bed and play it your way.
Posted by: sharon at August 20, 2005 07:24 PM
The two nominees will likely be Janelle and Howie(I hope). I'm actually starting to like Rachel. She has very good self control and is impressing me more and more each week. I think once Howie is gone(this week I hope), Rachel, April, and James will form an alliance. Still have to pull for my favorites April and Maggie though :)

OMG was i happy that janie got POV but i was suprised that she gave it up to maggie (grr) but was also good be/c other wise jeniffer may have had a chance at stayin cuz james wanted maggie out and im sure he could do his thing..omg i cannot belive beau got HOH i was actrally yelling out jynx the hole HOH competition for the other team i wanted rachel to get it so bad and poor howie he was pissed but i think its all goin to work out still i bet beau will put up april and prolly janie cuz of the fight they went through i so cant wait for next weeks show(tuesday)im still roughting for howie and rachel

THIS is what I am praying happens. Two from the sovereign are put up (any two). [Actually, I'm not praying that happens, but that's the most likely outcome.] Then, the remaining member from the sovereign who plays during the veto competition, has to win it (and hopefully save Janelle). Then - Beau will have to put up James or a fellow cult-member. To replace the vetoed HG from the sovereign. After that, it'll still be 3 - 2, but, perhaps, someone can be swayed.
A second choice "dream," would be for Beau to put up two people from his team, to ensure that the veto is used by HIS team and then backdoor one from the Sovereign. If he does that, then I'm hoping noone wins POV this week!
Posted by: Coleen at August 20, 2005 07:39 PM
After having been off the feeds cold turkey I spent the day getting things done (for a change) but always looking at the clock counting down the time til... well you all know.
I was sorry they took Jen off not because I like her... pe..leeease but because without her power she's like the new dog in the pack who will just roll over and let everyone lick her and be thankful to grovel at there feet. But to take Maggie off the block or if you do, now you have Evette(who is too close to James) really Janie didn't Kayser try to teach you about strategy? And then to really only get rid of Jen!!!
And the pit instead of the cherry on top...Beau as HOH. I thought I might quit being interested after losing Kayser But really even the camera men and women were probably crying after all there work for the last 48 hrs to have it come to this. I guess I should thankful CBS for cutting the feeds...it was a big first step in quitting this addiction!

I agree with HamsterDame.Great show right up until the end. "Way to go Janelle" I am so glad to see Jennifer off...she was making me SICK! I was so totally hoping to see James get it as well so that he had to pick a side. He is playing smart though, letting the two groups pick each other off. Wonder if Maggie will try to get her team to take out James? Will Janelle's "retribution" for Kaysar and her stint with Beau cost her? Can't wait til Tuesday.
BTW thought live feed was back on at 9:00pm...Where is it???????????
***** Note from HamsterDame - The live feeds come back up at 9:00 PM Pacific Time (Big Brother time) as stated in yesterday's post.

Look for Maggie to go and give Evette power over the sheep.
Thank god Jenn's gone!!!!!!

I am kind of dissappointed in tonight's show. I was expecting some major plot, esp since we have been without feed since last night. Oh well.
I was rooting for James at the end to get HOH, not too thrilled with Beau but guess it keeps up with the they get it this week, then us thing.
I thought right away that he would put up Janelle and Howie, as I can't see him putting up anyone from his group esp with Maggie in his ear.
This week will say alot. I am just thrilled that Jen is gone...did not like looking at her sarcastic smile. Maybe I can cross my fingers and hope that somehow April follows her..
Posted by: Tammy at August 20, 2005 07:42 PM
ooops. sorry, I miread the info. I await Midnight here on the east coast now. Wonder what Rachael's strategy is going to be? I wonder if we will see the Soverign 3 up in the HOH room? I sooooo love the live feed.
Posted by: Tammy at August 20, 2005 08:01 PM
Let's all give Kaysar a hand because obviously his are wearing out from patting himself on the back during his interviews. He absolutely nauseates me with his BS. I'm hoping Howie's "Plastic Blond Bimbo Foul Mouthed Blowup Janie Doll" goes next.
***** Note from HamsterDame - Tell us how you really feel Kay. ;)

10 more minutes until live feed! I have been so bummed without it! I'm totally bummed that Beau got HOH--how sad. I think it's sad because I know he won't have a voice--Yvette and Maggie will make up his mind for him.
Posted by: Stephanie at August 20, 2005 08:50 PM
Well the feeds just came back on a second ago. And already I am sick to my stomach with seeing how Beau is sitting in the pool. I just know that he will go after Janelle after the argument they had earlier this week. Because that is the kind of grudges women hold. They think with emotion not strategy.
Anyways I was screaming at th top of my lungs for James to win the HOH comp, but sadly he lost.
And Howie got on my nerves for messing up his answer before Julie could even finish asking it.
However I hope that Vomiette and Beau will go with what the rest of the house thinks and get rid of Maggie.
Let's keep out fingers crossed. Since Kaysay left, Janelle was the person I most wanted to win. If she leaves I don't even want to know the outcome of the show. I mean Rachael is nice and all, but she is a complete bore.
And Howie is always so focused on sticking it to the other team that he can't ever think straight enough to make it to the end of a competition.
Without Rachael he isn't really much of anything.
Posted by: zeni at August 20, 2005 09:07 PM
I'm just wondering how Ivette can constantly con herself, or let the others talk her back into thinking the "Friendship".... Ok, mainly April (gag to either) isn't talking and plotting against her behind her back every chance they get. Can ya GET any more gullible?
Posted by: Ali at August 20, 2005 09:48 PM
Such a let down that Beau got HOH! I'm very surprised that he did not nominate Janey, but I'm also very happy because I am totally rooting for Janey &/or James. I've never really liked James personally, but I've always been a Janey fan.
Both of those players have had major targets on their backs the entire game. They have been singled out & picked on practically from week 1. Those two have been on the block more than any of the other players, and yet, they are still in the house. Those two are really playing the game.
Either Janey or James deserves to win. Hope their skill and luck hold out until the end!

The fish made me do it HamsterDame. ;
Posted by: Kay at August 20, 2005 11:17 PM
The realization hit me that, based on numbers alone, the only way that someone from the sovereign can win BB is if the final two are BOTH from the sovereign. Otherwise, the "numbers" are going to favor the Friendship Cult. That means, after this week, the remaining two from the Sovereign have to keep winning HOH, alternatively.
Posted by: Coleen at August 20, 2005 11:59 PM
Well I have not seen anthing from the feeds but what the heck beau(whatever) won the HOH. OH GOD!!!!!
HE is so not gonna think for himself. My fav. drink is hypnotic and I just got home from drinking some. Forget Beau(whatever) he's a whimp.
Posted by: nicole at August 21, 2005 02:25 AM
So what about last nights show was so earth shattering that CBS had to turn off the feeds? I'm still trying to figure it out.
J'Blo leaving is great but not suprising news at all. I almost hurled when she said she sacrificed herself for the good of her team. Hey Ho I hope they give you $5 from their winnings for your trouble. Oh I hope Marcellas tears her up on HCs.
I could not believe how the Dream Team totally blew HOH comp. Howie is a moron and as much as I love his team he is the one who caused their downfall. If I were Rachel you would have to surgically remove my foot from his a$$. Oh and did it seem to anyone else that Rachel didn't even try? I know that just can't be - she definately wanted to win HOH BUT she was seriously distracted, drunk or something because she looked lost the entire comp. At the end I actually was hoping James would win although he would have put up H and R too. It just would have been a more interesting week. Beau is a snooze.
One more thing... if I were in this house they would have to have only plastic silverware in the house otherwise I would repeatedly stab myself in the eye every time I heard Aprils voice. Is it less annoying in person??? It would have to be or they would have voted her off the first week!!!
Posted by: kandj at August 21, 2005 06:07 AM
Hi, HamsterDame
About BB6, what is up with Rachel? She is smart, cool-headed and had the potential to go all the way!!!! She is awesome!! Didn't she have a better partner choice than Howie? I like Howie but he is not playing very smart at all. I was so upset to see the zombie (Beau) win HoH. I will miss Rachel. NONE OF THE "SHEEP" DESERVE TO WIN!
Posted by: sconroy at August 21, 2005 07:55 AM
I'm pretty sure Howie was the original cast member and Rachel was the partner chosen by CBS from Howie's list of prospects. Rachel's not gone yet. I think Howie will probably be the one to go if it comes down to Rachel and Howie on the block.
The POV remains, however, and if James somehow makes his way onto the block (Janey wins HoH and takes of Howie) James will probably be the one to go.
I'm for James though, so let's not wish on that outcome too hard.
Posted by: Shane at August 21, 2005 09:04 AM
POV starts at 11 does that mean we get the fish for the pov? New to this site and I must say I come here first now... love it!!! Thank you HamsterDame
***** Note from HamsterDame - We've always got fish during the POV comps before so they probably won't change it for today. Usually the only comps we see on the feeds are the food competitions and endurance HOH competitions.

Since the game has been so slow right now, I did some browsing on the CBS BB site. I had read the favorites list of each of the houseguests, but had not noticed that there is an introductory video for each HG. I clicked on the "Meet April" video and was delighted to hear some of her statements. April: "My husband said if you win you have to buy me a boat." April laughs. "He's like don't even come home if you don't win the money." Next, Marcellas asks her, "How would you describe yourself?" April: "I'm always in a good mood." (sure you are) Marcellas: How would you describe your strategy for winning BB6?" April: "My strategy...shut my mouth..." Towards the end of the segment, (it was hard to listen to all of it!) April declares, "I'm there to win and I firmly believe I will be there at the end." It was interesting to listen to April's thoughts before starting the game and never once will you hear her say, "I don't care!"

Just a quick question.
On friday they did the pov and hoh..i thought they said they also were doing a food comp. What happened to that? did they do it?
Or skip it?
Anyone know?
***** Note from HamsterDame - They must have decided not to have a food comp (yet agaaaiiinnn) this week since all of them have been eating whatever. I want some people back on PB&J dammit! bwahahaha

well, is there any particular reason that a woman shouldn't be able to beat a man, Danny? I don't feel one way or the other as to what sex he was out swatted, just goes to show that that pinched-up faced-foul mouthed-I can't talk about anyone or I will lose my job-turn around and do exactly what it is I say I can't do witch can swat better, who knows, maybe she had practice with matt before she went on the show. does it make howie less of a man? nope, but when I read or hear comments about "how does it feel to be beaten by a girl" or something along those lines, that tells me a lot...
Posted by: Carla at August 21, 2005 01:46 PM
Rachel had such potential in this game, but unfortunately she was teamed up with Howdie Doody. That's like trying to play with an anchor around your neck. James is a good player and is in a great place right now. He lies so much though I'm afraid it's going to come back and bite him once again. But that's the game. I actually like Maggie, but not sure she has what it takes to win. We'll see. I'll be glad when the teams get busted up and it's player against player. Take the cards, chess game, and coasters away and let's get down to it!
