Well
Rachel was evicted tonight. Bye bye Ray-Ray.

Ladies and gentlemen, April is the new HOH.
I don't really have anything else to say right now. I'm just...I don't know...what's the word I'm looking for? Could somebody help me out? I know many of y'all are feeling it too.
Update at 6:36 PM - Vote for Janelle for America's Choice! :)

Disgusted? Repulsed? Sick to your stomach?
I know I am ughhhhhh
Posted by: Valerie at August 25, 2005 06:05 PM
I think the word you're looking for is sick... I feel sick in the pit of my stomach... The "nerd herd" or "the fiendship" or "the friendsheep" are STILL in power and not only will it be incredibly zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... oh! sorry... they're so boring, I fell asleep talking about them... LOL
I'm sick to my stomach... I don't think I'll be watching the live feed as much now. How much more boring can it get?
Posted by: NYCntryGirl at August 25, 2005 06:07 PM
Hi Hamsterdame! I think the word you are looking for is AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I predict James and Howie will go up.
Posted by: kandj at August 25, 2005 06:08 PM
Disappointed? Sad? Knowing that its another week of sleep overs and losing one of "our own"? Knowing that Beau's days as HoH felt like 2 weeks and Aprils is going to feel like a month, at least, with her mouth constantly on the livefeeds?
Plus now there is no show on Saturday...I've seriously lost interest in it this year. While I'm not going to stop watching completely I think I'll get my life back, not to mention I have no interest in seeing anything on the tv show except the HoH comps, thats it.
Oh well. I guess I should thank CBS/BB/NH for giving me my life back, eh?
Posted by: SnackPacKid at August 25, 2005 06:09 PM
Flabbergasted? I don't know, personally I'm feeling a little bit of nausea myself. I DO NOT want to watch this girl crying 24/7 over seeing her husbands picture or from getting a letter from him.
And also Janelle or Howie will be going home I think. And where will the fun be in that.
I didn't even hear my daughter calling my name during the time April and Janelle were writing down their answers. How could she put a number so low? Didn't she hear me yelling at the screen to at least put 100?
Dang you Janie!
Posted by: zeni at August 25, 2005 06:11 PM
repulsed? horrified? perturbed? how??? WHY? oh well, let them gloat now, take out james, and then may God smiles sweetly on howie and janie from that moment on.
Posted by: Carla at August 25, 2005 06:15 PM
People (including me ) thought she was useless in the game yet here she is with the 'most important' HOH thus far.
You may be a crybaby April; but good job!
Once again, we internet fools, underestimate the one side, and once again they look to crush their opponents (unless April does something foolish and nominates one or two of her own in some lame attempt at a backdoor).
Posted by: Volourn at August 25, 2005 06:16 PM
It could of been worse? Well maybe. Remember when Jennifer was on the block a few weeks ago, her and Jennifer had that talk? Well we can all hope and pray that April hasn't changed her mind (which it's pretty obvious she has) but she did say she wanted to take out Beau and Ivette. The smart thing would be to go after the last pair but I don't think she's smart enough. I predict Howie and Janelle to go up. When are the nominations going to be held?
Posted by: Matt at August 25, 2005 06:18 PM
Valourn, I don't think anyone underestimates the fiendship, i think it's that we don't like their attitudes...so who are people going to vote for to receive the america's choice prize?
Posted by: Carla at August 25, 2005 06:23 PM
Soon we'll have the exquisite pleasure of having only Ape, Mag the Hag and the Cuban she-devil as the final three. Big Brother 6 goes out with a whimper.
Posted by: snarkhunts at August 25, 2005 06:32 PM
way to go April!!!!!! I hope she gets rid of Hurricane Howie!!!!
Posted by: Happy for the friendship at August 25, 2005 06:38 PM
Ecstatic. Well at least for me. I, as some of you may know, am the biggest and possibly only April fan. I'm so very happy. I believe nominees will be Janelle and Howie, with James being backdoored. YAY FOR APRIL!
***** Note from HamsterDame - I was waiting to hear from you Russ! ;)
Posted by: Russ at August 25, 2005 06:41 PM
I'm not voting in America's Choice. I really don't care who gets it. I won't be mad if Ivette gets it, its easy to see how much she wants it. No one else really seemed to want it that badly. Oh well, I don't care anyway. If it were something truly good - then it'd be a different story.
April may decide to break up Beau and Ivette. As "clean" as Maggie is, she's been talking about EVERYONE behind their backs this past week, including Ivette to April and April to Ivette. I'm sure April will realize at Maggie's insistance that James needs to be taken out... this is the last week to backdoor him. That also will weaken Howie and Janelle.
However, for April personally - it'd be good for her to take James to the end with her. She's only going to win against Howie, Janelle, or James... and even then I'm not convinced.
Oh well.. there's plenty of time left for the HoH slumber party strategizing. Maggie will be April's best friend this week.
The only thing that is going to make this week enjoyable is that Ivette can't stand April and hopefully Ivette will be tormented by her having HoH and Ivette will be forced to listen to April too. hehehehehe

Vote James for the America's Choice...really piss off the nerd herd!
Posted by: Tree at August 25, 2005 06:45 PM
Oh come on people! I'm thrilled....the look on Howie's face was CLASSIC!!! I'm so ecstatic...as Howie said weeks ago....Karma comes back to bite ya....HA HA HA HA HA
I predicted this, by the way, if you read my post from yesterday:)
I don't think that it'll be as boring as some of you are thinking that it will be! But we'll see. I'll take it cause I love seeing Janelle and Howie being miserable!!!
To all you "Friendship" haters...remember, it's just a game but at this pivotal point good won out over evil!!!
Am I gloating? Am I being obnoxious? Sorry, but I finally feel a little vindication from the Friendship bashing. It's nice that they finally have power 2 weeks in a row!
My prediction is that Janelle and Howie will go up!
Listen to Howie, he's sucking up to April...I'm loving it! Eat Crow Howie, Eat Crow!
Ok, I'll stop for now.
Sorry HamsterDame...I know that this is not what you wanted to happen.

GO APRIL!!! HAHAH ALL YOU hypocrytes!
Posted by: WOOHOO at August 25, 2005 07:03 PM
Utterly disappointed. That's my feeling about April winning HOH. Why, oh why did it have to be April?? Hearing her mouth run even MORE this week on the live feed. It will be unbearable. And completely boring.
I have a question though. Maybe some of you can help me out. Has every eviction this season been basically unanimous (sp?). Except maybe a couple of ocassions where one vote went to the person that wasn't evicted? It's really too predictable this season, right??
I predict James will get overwhelmingly the most votes for America's Choice, followed by Maggie.
Posted by: Lisa at August 25, 2005 07:03 PM
The reason the nerdherd is winning the HoH is because these competitions are geared towards them. What happened to all the endurance ones?? Those are way better because you get to see just how bad someone wants it, not how good someone is at answering b.s. questions. I hate how this game is going. I'm done watching it. I can't take this total bull crap. DIE NERD HERD DIE!
Posted by: Matt at August 25, 2005 07:14 PM
YKWIM! Give me a break!! Another week of torture! The only bright spots I see are 1. Howie & Janie going off on the house! 2. Getting America's choice. If Beau & Ivette go up, Ivette will pick James (if she is smart and wants to stay in the house) and that will be the end of the friendship as even the friends can't stand April. April was working some deal with James earlier this week.
Go James!!
P.S. What's up with Evilette's dreams and them coming true?? she dreamt april would win!
Posted by: kate at August 25, 2005 07:15 PM
This COULD be a blessing in disguise. But only if April plays smart. There is only one "team" left in the game and that team has to be taken out. It will be easier to take out, if there are still some remnants from the other team. Otherwise, they could be too powerful - Ivette with her Maggie aliance and Beau's ability to continually fly under the radar. IF April goes against her team before the other team is completely removed, it could lead to fragmenting the cult so that - when it comes time for the jury to vote, they don't get the votes they thought they would.
That said - Howie is crass, even if he does think he's being funny. If he was an employee of mine he'd be fired for sexual harassment and I would never consider dating him - even though he is cute - with his mouth and wandering eye. I won't miss him in the house and don't want him to win BB anyway.
I'm rooting for Janelle and James to make it to final two.
Posted by: Coleen at August 25, 2005 07:27 PM
I had to go to a viewing tonight, but had set the timer for BB... I just got done watching it, I think I'm in shock, or maybe it's denial... I think I taped the wrong show!! LOL
My prediction is that Howie & Janelle will be nominated, with the James option sitting on the sideline. It would make for great TV and would get my respect back and possibly from others as well if April was to nominate Beau and Ivette and split up the last pair... but we'll see if she does it... I dunno if she'll stick to the plan... she tends to forget some of the things she says about who she wants out of the house sometimes :)
As for America's Choice, I want either James, Ivette or Maggie to get it.
Posted by: Tracy at August 25, 2005 07:37 PM
Is anyone else finding it eerie watching the Miami Beach guests talking about how much Florida must be loving them when right now they're being hit by a hurricane?
Posted by: Sean at August 25, 2005 07:44 PM
I love the nerd herd!!! I am so excited that they are keeping the power again this week. I hope they can do it 2 more weeks and take out whats left of the garbage. With that said I still wonder if we won't be seeing James as bb6 winner??? Maybe if they would tape Janelle and Howie's mouth shut I could start to like one of them. Nope probably still wouldn't like them.
As for America's choice - I am voting for April or Maggie. I can't imagine being away from my husband more than a day or two. I know both of them are dying to talk to their man.
Posted by: jakal at August 25, 2005 08:20 PM
My live feed will be turned off this week, I am almost glad there will be no show Saturday night. The sound of April's voice is worse than nails screaching down a chalkboard. She is disgusting. She is a fake, she contributes nothing to that house or the big "F" other than the noise, the constant blah, blah, blah. Ughhh!!!!
Posted by: terri at August 25, 2005 08:24 PM
April would be ******** to nominate Ivette, and beau. Sure, they're the last remaining pair, but other spoint out if she does that she'd have guaranteed herself not winning the money come final 2 (if she makes it that far) plus she'd then have ZERO allies in the house. She has no chocie to nominate Janelle, and James and keep Howie as a backup plan. the reasonw hy nominate those two is that POV are usually physical challenges and those two are the best at that. Them being on the block forces the POV holder to take them off leaving Howie as an alternate. Only setback in this plan is if Howie wins POV..
As for America's Choice - I want James to get it as Sarah is sweet and James rocks.
Posted by: Volourn at August 25, 2005 08:35 PM
did anyone notice evette was the only one with negitive comments about rachel
Posted by: tim at August 25, 2005 09:03 PM
I was really surprised Maggie and April are trying to make a deal with howie and Janelle.
To backdoor James. I'll believe it when i see it. They told howie and Janelle not to tell beau and evette because they would tell James. They want James out.
If i were howie and Janelle i'd say ok we won't ask James to play veto if you put up one of us and one of your. If you put both of us up we we are going to ask James for help.
I don't trust April but believe Maggie is a fair player. We'll see what happens.
Posted by: jay at August 25, 2005 09:21 PM
Evilette just shows how little class she has with her farewell speech to Rachelle. I do not know what the Evil One is talking about. I think that Rachelle handled herself with class and dignity in the house which is more than I can say for Ivette.
As far as April winning HOH, I wanted to throw UP! This is definitely the most boring, least strategically played episode of BB that I have ever seen. I am not interested in the outcome of BB6 anymore.
I sit here with bated breath waiting for Survivor and Amazing Race to start. Maybe they will be interesting, entertaining and fun!
Great job with keeping us informed and entertained during this trying (boring) time in BB6 House, HamsterDame!! Keep up the good work!
Posted by: bored to tears of BB6 at August 25, 2005 09:24 PM
Volourn, you're wrong. April would be smart to nominated Ivette and Beau. April and Maggie have an alliance and I think Maggie is due for a HoH position. If Beau or Ivette goes, that'll leave the other with virtually no ally and probably will get evicted next. So then it'd be down to 5, Janelle, James, Howie, April and Maggie. I doubt that'll happen though. I hope April smartens up and nominates them.
Posted by: Matt at August 25, 2005 09:26 PM
I think the word you're looking for is sick... I feel sick in the pit of my stomach... The "nerd herd" or "the fiendship" or "the friendsheep" are STILL in power and not only will it be incredibly zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... oh! sorry... they're so boring, I fell asleep talking about them... LOL

Im totally disgusted, Now after the press release claiming that this new AC contest will "Undoubtedly effect who goes Home with the Money " Baloney .. Im thoroughly pissed off , and frankly dont give DAMN who wins now this show has become too friggen boring. One more week of sleepovers and watching everyone play cards. without rachel everyone will sleep till Noon or later. And Frankly I just dont like any of them anymore.
Posted by: Teresa at August 25, 2005 10:15 PM
Here's my take on tonights episode:
What is up with Ivette? I've noticed she can be really cruel in her goodbye tapes. Rachel being a poor sport? I have to disagree...she wasn't my favorite but she, out of both teams, was the most mature, etc.
Because of that and the two facedness of Ivette, I hope Janelle gets americas choice. Out of everyone that would piss her off the most.
Not happy with April winning but oh well...maybe she will do the right thing and either put up the last team or maggie and ivette. April has to realize if she's up against any of the sheep she won't win?
It's funny, my hubby hasn't watched any season except this one. When it was down to janie and april he said he wouldn't watch it anymore if april wins...and now he says he won't watch it...and he hasn't watched the live feeds to see just how bad the friendship are...
Posted by: starr4all at August 25, 2005 10:50 PM
the word is - aghast or possibly just simply horrified
Posted by: Linda at August 26, 2005 12:21 AM
I didn't even bother to keep watching after April won.
What to say? Nerds in Herds are in charge for a 2nd Ho Hum week.
I agree that if April is a truely wise player she will take a good look around and see that Ivette and Beau would be insane not to stick together to the bitter end - meaning April is OUT if they stay.
However, it is sure to be Howie and Janelle on the block with James set to go out the back door.
My only hope from this show is that Ivette does not get the phone call. That nasty goodbye speach was uncalled for - if it had been to Janelle or Howie I could understand but Rachel?? If what goes around comes around The Feinds will find themselves phoneless and understand that no, America doesn't really like them much.
Guess I'll just tune in late next Thursday to see who goes and who gets HOH cause frankly I have not intention of watching the Pots sit around in the HOH room calling Kettles black. Which is all they seem to do all day long.
Posted by: verity at August 26, 2005 12:33 AM
Although I am not an Ivette fan, keep in mind that BB edits which part of their good-bye speeches will be aired. They are desperately trying to keep ratings up because lots of us are tuning out.
Ivette originally made those comments after Rachel was upset after she was nominated. I can't imagine she would still be holding those strong feeling 6 days later.
Rachel was a bit bitchy right after the nomination ceremony, but who can blame her? She knew that she or Howie was going to leave the house.
I am disgusted by this America's Choice, not for what it is, this isn't the first time you could vote for a phone call for a HG, but to hype it as "game changing" is pure bull****. (Notice that internet viewers can't vote??)
Anyway, I am glad there is no Saturday show, even Tuesday will be painful to watch with April as HOH -- iicckkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!
***** Note from HamsterDame - You CAN vote online.
Posted by: Peggy in Buffalo at August 26, 2005 04:37 AM
Those who are saying taht April should nominate Ivette, and Beau are either on the S2's side with wishful thinking or are missing the big picture - if April backstabs Beau and Ivette; she'd have guaranteed to lose their finals for the F2. She should sit back, and let Howie et al. get rid of the remaining pair. Afterall, James et al. view April as the weakest player and take her to the final 3 at least so she should be in a rush to create more enemies...
Posted by: Volourn at August 26, 2005 05:25 AM
I could not believe it when she won....I am so disappointd. Also, what was the deal with Vomette's goodbye speech to Rachel???? I thought that was really, really RUDE!! I am so sick of the "fienship" saying how they play the game with integrity and honesty....UGHHH!! Its sickening!! And I'm really sick of looking at Maggies...she's so smug all the time...
Lets hope for some good luck for the Sov 2!!!
Posted by: Heidi at August 26, 2005 05:42 AM
Hey HamsterDame,
I understand your disgust but honestly IMO April winning is the lesser of the evils within the Fiendship. After she won I was like "Oh, well".
Here's why:
1.I actually had a small bit of sympathy for her when she won and started to cry. Of course I wanted Janelle to win, she's my girl, but she didn't.
2.If April is smart and thinking she will put up Ivette and Beau. Break them up and send one of them on their way. I would hope it would be Ivette. Please oh please!! If one gets off they could back door James (even though I want him to stay).
3.Like the person above stated if April is thinking she will take James with her to the end. He has played a great game, tricks and all but with the fiendship stacking the jury he wouldn't win it.
As I watched the show last night I had the thought that James threw the game. I was like "C'mon you didn't know the answer to that question?" I just didn't buy it. I guess given how critical this week is maybe he didn't do it on purpose. I really wanted him or Janelle to get HOH.
And lastly as to the nastiness that is Ivette. That girl is amazing. I posted here before that I didn't like her and here are the reasons why:
1. Like everyone else on this board I know it is just a Game. But unlike other people I don't think you develop a whole new personality to play the game in this house. It just doesn't work like that. People excuse them because it IS a game but to me that doesn't make sense. The nastiness that they show to each other is an inherent part of their personality. The nastiness and venom I see in Ivette is what makes me dislike her.
So while I don't agree with the way Janelle/Howie have acted in the past I think Ivette is completely out of control with some of the things she says. Her comments to and about Rachel are uncalled for. And when she goes off she seems completely unhinged. Like Rachel said to Julie she thinks Ivette has some issues and I totally agree. She has more than a few.
Ivette has been spraying her venom from the moment she entered the house. But unlike most people who would just keep their mouth shut about someone else's behavior unless they wanted attention drawn to them she just keeps talking. Like I said unhinged.
P.S. Sorry this is so long HamsterDame. I promise if I post again it will be much shorter. I guess I had a lot to say :)

First off, Peggy, the HG do their good by messages on Wednesday. So yes, that many days later Evilette was holding those "strong feelings".
Also, Evilette sure can turn the waterworks on when she wants. I am sure she misses her family however, she has admitted before that she will turn the waterworks on whenever needed to get what she wants. She would be the last person that I would vote for!!!

Last night was disapointing to say the least. On one recent sleepless night I watched Howie and Janelle practicing for the comp. into the wee hrs. They had so much knowledge of the house and guests.I wish they had practiced more about the pucks because now we have to listen to April"I feel like Miss America" all week. I had to turn off live feed last night. It is also scary to see Jan and Howie listening to April's plea to get rid of James. Knowing her partner was Jen...well..

HamsterDame:
If you were in England you would say I'm GOBSMACKED. Translation: totally speechless, completely surprised, stunned beyound belief, can'nt beleive what you're seeing/hearing. Now you can be gobsmacked by something wonderful OR something completely horrendous. But I feel GOBSMACKED surely describes how ALL BB fans are feeling right now, does'nt matter which side they're rooting for, WE ARE ALL GOBSMACKED!!
I haven't read any of the comments yet, I'll do that as soon as I've posted this to you. But believe me, gobsmacked describes exactly how I felt last nite watching the show. Couldn't believe what I had just seen!
Bye bye

This is to Peggy ^^^ up there....As far as Ivette goes: CBS can edit all it wants, anyone who watched the feeds this past week knows that what ivette said last night was the SMALLEST, NICEST snippet they could probably take from her DR session. Not sure if you missed it, but Ivette said some things that would make sailors blush and made me want to jump through my screen in Rachels defense. Her rant in the hot tub was completely unprovoked and completely unneccesary.
As far as the Americas Choice vote, here's a thought: One of the years Americas Choice was the same thing..only difference was that CBS TOLD the family member who got to call, to give their loved one some valuable information that could help them in the game instead of just the normal "hi, i love you, we miss you" calls. Just a thought, hoping CBS sticks to their word. :)

I've never posted in this site before but here it goes. I have been a fan of the Sov.Six since the two teams have developed. I am wondering and I hope someone can explain as to how the two teams developed and it became so polarized in the house.
I'm no fan of the nerd herd but, I have to admit that they are playing a good game. Although Jen's move should go down in BB history as the ultimate betrayal.
The sov.six made critical errors when Howie nominated James and Sarah. Also when Kaysar took his finger off the button.
I am hoping that either James or Janelle ultimately win.
One more question: why do you think that most of America has been pulling for the sov.six and can't stand the nerd herd. You know that the nerd herd have the perception that they are America's favorite. What a shock they are going to have when the game is over!

When April won HOH, I felt heart sick. I'm in my fifties & can't believe how some of these young people behave. It astounds me that the friendship group have called the other group evil from the beginning. All the "friends" are horribly hypocritical, with Maggie being sly in the way she provokes her peers to bash the others, or do what she wants done. I see her as the snake in the garden of Eden. From what I read in the live feeds, Kaysar & Rachel have played with more decency & integrity than any of the others. Howie & Janelle have been pretty nasty, but they were upfront with their comments to the others. I have just lost the desire to watch it anymore. It just disappoints me to think that after all the ugly, nasty things the "friends" have said & done, they will be rewarded for their behavior.

Sick to my stomach. She has been a pain since the very first day. I cannot see how she seems to continue on in this game. They need to put her butt up and throw her.
