Seating For Eight

Has Big Brother gassed the house? Are these the real hamsters or are they aliens that just look like them? Are these the twins of the original hamsters? Has hell frozen over?
These 'things' that resemble the hamsters have been sitting at the tinier table talking amongst themselves for almost thirty minutes now.
I need to get a cool washcloth for my forehead and go lie down.

oh dear god i hope they don't become buddies! that would be boring! come on howie, spice it up!
Posted by: mar at August 21, 2005 06:21 PM
Funny how they dont show them getting along on tv huh ,must be bad for the ratings
Posted by: mark in virgina at August 21, 2005 06:29 PM
It's hard to show them getting along on the show when there's hardly any footage of them getting along in the house Mark! LOL
Posted by: HamsterDame at August 21, 2005 06:32 PM
Yes, this is surreal. Did BB bribe them with something to sit and talk to each other? Did the tribes merge like in Survivor? Who's really talking though? It looks like Ivette, Beau, James, and Janelle, with an occasional comment by Howie, Maggie, and Rachel. April looks the most disconnected. Definitely a change in tenor. The fact that they're sitting around the smaller table chatting (not drinking, although talking about it) is so strange!
Posted by: Keith at August 21, 2005 06:32 PM
I like it. And I don't think that they'll all become buddies. But it is nice to have some harmony in the house, at least for a little while.
It's a little sad to see the table smaller and the HG's down to the Elite Eight!!! It means that the end is drawing near (tear down cheek)
Posted by: Kyla at August 21, 2005 06:33 PM
In Spanish, Howie said, "I like girls" and Ivette added, "I like girls like Beau the Second." Then she taught him how to say, "Watch out Jenny, I'm coming." at that point, the convo fell apart. Howe said, "We'll all have our own rooms" (referring to sequester, I think).
Howie and Janelle are back to their classic selves now!
Posted by: Keith at August 21, 2005 06:39 PM
Does it look like James is going to use the PoV and on who and who do you think will be his replacement? I hope he uses it on Howie and they put up April! But I know that won't happen
Posted by: Matt at August 21, 2005 06:57 PM
I've been wondering when they were going to change to a smaller table... good stuff :)
During the hockey PoV contest the HGs competing were getting along a little TOO well also. BB producers might have slipped a little something in their food lol to relax them all a little haha
When they get along it's like their "real" selves come out. It shows that they all can relate to one another on a certain level. If they were to meet outside the house in their regular non-hamster lives, they may have gotten along better, and then again, some of them may have refused to talk to some of them too... but I'm just saying they seem to act "real" during these brief moments of harmony
Posted by: Tracy at August 21, 2005 07:31 PM
I think that Ivette and Beau want to take James to the end. This week, they'll pick off Rachel or Howie.
In the BY, James and Janelle were talking. According to James, Ivette thought James and Janelle should team up. Janelle said they should make it look like "no way in hell!" Then they cut the convo short (smart move!).
Posted by: Keith at August 21, 2005 07:34 PM
Janie and Howie are in the GR. Howie says he would be 100% happy if the Nerd Herd don't win the next event and 90% happy if a NH couple don't win the next event.
Janie says, if Beau hadn't picked James, she would have one the PoV and taken off Howie. Janie whispering to Rachel that they want to take off me or Howie before James. [One of them has to make HoH next!]
I agree with Howie that Janie is the strongest player. She is always right behind James physically but she would dominate in a memory challenge.
Posted by: Keith at August 21, 2005 07:44 PM
Beau and James talking about the PoV competition. Beau says his pants slowed him down, but he didn't get tangled in the ropes. He had a strategy to go for pictures further away first. Beau's time was 6:37 and Howie's time was about 6:20. It sounds like it was pretty intense!
Earlier in the exercise room, April was telling Maggie how claustrophobic she is and how she hates water, so the comp was really hard for her.
Posted by: Keith at August 21, 2005 08:09 PM
Ivette and Beau are trying to make Rachel look bad by telling everyone she wastes their food and the producers won't give them anymore. LMAO Poor Rachel, she's done really nothing that bad, but they're making out like she's worse than James.
Posted by: Russ at August 21, 2005 08:19 PM
James and Beau in the BY talking. Beau is wondering if it's Sunday or Monday. James clarifies that Kaysar left on Thursday, Jennifer left on Friday and BB showed that on Saturday. [So Beau won HoH and put up Howie and Rachel yesterday, right?]
James tells Beau that he relaxed in the HoH comp when he say it was just him and Beau. He got nervous again during the PoV comp, b/c he could overhear people talking in the LV.
J & B wondering why Howie could attack April but hug Jennifer.
J & B both agreeing that Kaysar is very smart but his arrogance put him out [Ed. No it was his trust of Jennifer and the FS based on incomplete information].
James doesn't listen to anyone's speeches any more b/c to him, it's very obvious who is going up and who will be leaving. He comments while playing chess with Beau, "good things come to those who wait." [J's strategy in a nutshell, no?}
Posted by: Keith at August 21, 2005 08:21 PM
Mr. Beau should nominate two from his own team, and then back door Janelle at the POV ceremony.
Yea, that's the ticket!
Posted by: BB = Worldly rules at August 21, 2005 09:22 PM
I think a secret James / Janelle duo might make things interesting. Especially with the Howie - Ivette triangle (or would that make it a square)?
Posted by: Coleen at August 21, 2005 10:31 PM
it would be super cool is James uses the veto on Howie and can use his magic on Vomiette to talk Beau into putting Maggie up. So they can vote her out instead of Rachael.
But that ain't gonna happen, but I will dream about it for now. Because Ivette has already said that her heart tell her to protect Maggie. And Rachael is saying that she wants to go. Maybe on her part she wants to make it seem like she doesn't care because she knows James will not use the veto on her and no one will vote Howie out.
All I know is that the game is slowly going downhill as the best players are leaving and the nobodies will be left.
Posted by: zeni at August 22, 2005 12:34 AM
"All I know is that the game is slowly going downhill as the best players are leaving and the nobodies will be left."
If they were the best players, they wouldn't be leaving.
Posted by: Volourn at August 22, 2005 05:36 AM
Volourn- The best players are leaving b/c THEY ARE THE BEST! The nerd herd just has the advantage of numbers. On a brighter note, a James and Janelle alliance would be so great to see!
Posted by: brandi at August 22, 2005 07:04 AM
In tvclubhouse one of the last notes says something about bb checking tape because James may have broken a rule. If so Janelle will take the veto.
Wouldn't that toss some fun into the game!
hahaha
Let's hope!!

well here i am again, isnt this a mess.... Im had to catch up on my house calls and see them dog april and everyone else..kaysar said he is going to let everyone know where jennifer is so we can throw tomato's. Anyways, yes I couldnt believe it when I saw it..them all sitting together..peacefully. Talking amongst each other. Like nothing ever happened. Damnit.. i really hope james doesnt use it b/c I would like to see janelle stay for a lil bit longer...i wonder who they will get rid of..rumors are flyin about rachel..also..if I see april pick her nose one more time im going to throw up. She is sickening.
Posted by: KaysarsLezbo at August 22, 2005 08:26 AM
I hate April.........but could she be the best player ????
Why was the house divided early ???
Eric, James, Kayser & Michael made a pact the last 4...... we know that Eric and James were lying because of their partner... Kaysar & Michael were not lying.
April went all over telling everyone (and Eric of course) that she did not feel secure with Michael in the house !!!!!so Eric got Michael evicted....
After that all hell broke loose because Eric broke his word to Kaysar & Michael.
Howie gave his word to nominate James and Sarah... and did it (that made him take 2 of his own team) Then as James won POV Howie nominated Ivette as a decoy... ya..... if April had her wish at this time Ivette would be gone... as April and Jen wanted to get Ivette out .
Then Jen (as evil as April) gave her word to kaysar.... we know what happened....
Then it's Howie who mader April unconfortable and she was affraid of him , means please let get rid of him....
Again, April id trying to get Ivette out when she talked with Maggie behind the couch........She is really evil (...or the best)....The other need to see her for what she is and get her out........
Posted by: blaba at August 22, 2005 08:46 AM
The Nerd Herd finally decided to ask someone else about themselves (Janelle) instead of always talking about themselves (April). That is why April is so quiet yet discontented. She doesn't know how to have a conversation unless it's about her or she's gossiping about others.
The Nerd Herd's mouthes drop (Maggie) as they learn that Janelle was an All-Star Hockey Cheerleader. Notice Janelle hasn't even mentioned she was Miss Minnesota, unlike Jennifer who had to keep reminding everyone she was SOMEBODY!

Hamsterdame,
They more blogs i read the more i hear about James breking rule in pov.
If so shouldn't Janelle get it.
I hope BB plays a fair game and gives it to her if he did.
I don't know if i can watch anymore if they let him cheat.
What are your thoughts?
Posted by: jay at August 22, 2005 08:55 AM
And they have the number advantage because they are so (cough, sputter, gag, barf)Honorable and Moral.
Kaysars team have the better players but their Integrity was a downfall this year, and they underestimated the devious nature of the cult like fiendship. If Howie had not been a Man of His word he would not have began the downfall of his team by seemingly joining forces with the FS to Out James and thus put any trust in them.
Kaysar would still be there because he would not have trusted Jen, and it would be a whole different game.
Personally I hate this year, Its hard to watch when so many HG's are so disliked, If/when Janie goes it wont be worth watching at all.
Its barely worth watching now.
I just hope we have a chance to see Kaysar again sometime soon.
Posted by: Taelyn at August 22, 2005 09:28 AM
bb wont let them sleep? do they all have to be up by a certin time?

well hello there everyone..its me again.. ms hamsterdame.. i just got done watching house calls..and I have a question for you since I couldnt get thru to gretchen and my afro baby lol
I was watching all the videos of everyone b4 they went into the house and im wonderin who do you think kept their word from their interview. I know howie for sure said he is a jerk in his interview and sure nuff he is showin that side lol... i love him tho, also the main person that bugged me in their interview was april..she always talkin ish about she not playing for the money..but in her interview...she said otherwise..what is ur feelings and anyone elses feelings about this mess
Posted by: KaysarsLesbo at August 22, 2005 10:36 AM
Okay guys. I've been a sovereign fan, but the reason their numbers are dwindling is not because they are the BEST but because they have been beaten in the competitions AND because they are NOT thinking as good as the other team. Kaiser came back, intent on getting James out. Wrong strategy. They should have kept James (and Sarah) close to the nest EVEN if they didn't trust him. At least they would have the numbers more than they would by alienating him and voting off their own. Then, when he returned, he never should have "given" HOH to Jen. What was he thinking? DId he trust too much - yes. Did he not think enough - yes. He was swayed by Jen's fake emotions and that makes him a weak thinker.
Howie's strategy of (1) putting up James because the entire house wanted him off - - only helped to "save" the NerdHerd for one more week. He was trying not to make any enemies, and ended up weakening his team's ability to win the BB, overall.
Howie and Janelle's strategy to make the house an uncomfortable place to live succeeded only in that particular outcome. It was not an effective strategy in being able to divide and conquer the cult - - as the cult had been so succesful doing when Howie was HOH.
Though I'm disappointed that Janelle or Rachel stands little chance of winning BB6, it is because of their own lack of strategy and not because they are the "best." They aren't.
Posted by: Coleen at August 22, 2005 10:50 AM
Janelle and Rachelle talking about how BB say even thou James didn't follow the rules of pov they are going to let him keep it. How is this fair. They admit that he didn't play fair. It's just not right.
I'm so angry right now
I have no problem with him winning if he did it fair. But from what is being said he didn't and should not be able to keep it.
I'm very disappointed in bb
Posted by: jay at August 22, 2005 12:14 PM
Wwwwhooo
They just called James to the DR and then went to fishes (10 minutes now). Maybe they are going to take the Veto away and give it to Janie because James cheated. Hopefully they are having a BB meeting to announce it to all the other HG's before the veto ceremony. **Fingers Crossed**
Posted by: Kimmy P at August 22, 2005 12:25 PM
Well they let him keep it.
I'm so disappointed.
Why have rules at all.
Something about they didn't tell him he had to untie something so not his fault.
I think they should play it over then.
Not fair...Not fair
Looks like he didn't use it.
Posted by: jay at August 22, 2005 01:09 PM
If they took The Vito away from James they would have to go back and take HOH from Janelle. Why not just go back and play the whole season again!
Posted by: BB Ray at August 22, 2005 01:36 PM
Sometimes HG's that we perceive to be the "best players" really aren't logically the "best players" because they don't last in this game.
The "best players" are the ones that step outside the box and actually play using strategy, teamwork and manipulation.
Jennifer didn't force Kaysar to let go of the button. She manipulated her way in to having him believe her and she won HOH. That is called game.
Every other day there is a conspiracy theory about so-and-so cheating or breaking the rules. If this game were fixed it'd be off the air.
I love this game so passionately because I believe in the experience of the game. Lie, deceive, manipulate...do whatever you have to get to the end.
This game is anyone's for the taking.
I have taken a lot of the insults personally, I have let my blood pressure go through the roof over comments about my favorite players and I have isolated my world to revolve around BB from July to September....but you know what, that's my choice. It's my choice to keep watching, to turn the computer on or off or the TV on or off...so for those who keep complaining about Kaysar "giving" Jennifer HOH or Janelle cheating in last week's HOH or James breaking the rules today....remember, BREATHE, CALM DOWN and watch the game:):):)
Posted by: Kyla at August 22, 2005 01:37 PM
Hey, is there anyway to email CBS to complain about letting him win when he shouldn't of?? If you can list the email address to email them because I'm livid about them letting him win when he didn't do the competition right.
***** Note from HamsterDame - Yeah, there's a way to leave feedback. Go to CBS' website and click the feedback link at the bottom of the page. And BTW, as stated already a few comments above, Big Brother went over what happened and James' POV stands. If all you (and the others around here they know who they are) just want to bitch and moan about he's cheating, she's cheating, it's a conspiracy, blah blah blah, then stop watching the freaking show because obviously it's not giving you any enjoyment whatsoever. And personally, I'm sick and tired of hearing it.
Posted by: Matt at August 22, 2005 02:38 PM
Kyla--God bless you!! Finally someone that understands the game. We may not personnaly like someone but the are very good players. James-Maggie-Rachel-Evette are just playing "THE GAME". All I can say at this point" May the best or most manipulating win"
Posted by: mekk at August 22, 2005 03:15 PM
Kyla, I completely agree with your observations. It is a game! All the drama and conspiracies make this game a game! It's part of it. It isn't a game of fairness, but one of manipulation and lies and cheating. If it was all above board, fair, and moral, then it wouldn't be nearly as much fun, now would it?!?!?! See you next season!
Posted by: Jennifer--NOT THAT ONE!!! at August 22, 2005 03:39 PM
Kyla - great post!!! my sentiments exactly!! bottom line it's a game to win MONEY!! If they were there for the money are they there for the "15 minutes" of fame?? please I'd be there for the money totally! I'm honest I'll admit it!! ;-))
Posted by: donna at August 22, 2005 03:41 PM
ok those of you saying that james cheated who are you to say he cheated?!!!? because oviously you havent seen the POV comp. have you so stop complaining cause you havent seen it so please intill you see it,WITH YOUR OWN EYES, stop talking trash how old r you guys 12 stop acting lik little kidds and grow up!!
P.S sry if i sound mean right know i dont fill good and i am a cheerleader and i just got home from practice and i got dropped on my head and twisted my ankle badly and it hurts lik heck!!
so sry if im being mean but seriously act your age!

Seeing Janie and James in the end would seem just about right to me. If anyone has PLAYED the game, it's been them. Throw in a lot of luck and you can almost believe those two will be standing in the end. But James loves Ivette. He's loyal to her, I think. (Or is that him playing the game?? Hmmmmm...)
I'm really going to miss Rachel when she's voted out this week. Bummer. Bad luck for her.
I was really happy that the show has now started showing each person's eviction vote. Cool.
Posted by: Lisa at August 22, 2005 05:53 PM
True it is a game but who says you have to win it by lying and cheating. It is a game of strategy and a game of how you deal with other people. If you win by lying and cheating and then deny you are doing it is it really right. You can still have a good game and do it with honesty.

Is anyone watching the cult in the hot tub right now? They are so "fired up" & pumped about themselves, and plotting out the rest of the game. As is they have control no matter what! They also realized that as they continue putting up members from the sovereign and if those people win veto, then they have to put themselves up on the block. None of them liked that much. Had they really not realized that they would have to vote one another off? This is going to get good! I can feel the pre-tremor implosion quakes now!
Posted by: hotmel at August 22, 2005 08:04 PM
Sure am glad I found this blog! I thought I was all alone in the world! So many people are condemning Jen for the pressure cooker antic. She was only playing the game, that's what we turn on our TV to watch, so why condemn a player for playing??? I couldn't believe it when Kaysar let go that button. But, I didn't think it was dumb of him --- I think he was very much underestimating Jen --- which hehe, was dumb of him. But after standing for 14 hours, it could have happened to any of us. It's all part of the game.
Posted by: JO at August 22, 2005 08:43 PM
Sorry - but this roundtable discussion is exactly why I haven't logged onto my live feeds since Beau won HOH Thu nite. This group is way too boring for me, and I can't stand most of who is left (altho I've been rooting for Howie, Rach & Jan - once Beau won HOH I knew their days were numbered).
I'm also tired of the stupid mistakes my fav group of players continue to make - Howie's noms, Kay letting go for Jen, Jan taking Maggie off the block in order to evict Jen (when it shoulda been the other way around!) I don't think the friendsheep have been smarter - just luckier that the other side made more mistakes. Maggie is clearly running the show over there & I can't stand her or her 12 yr old voice any more. I watched the other nite as she whispered softly to Ivette & I swear she was hypnotizing (sp?) her!!!! I certainly don't want any part of the cult-like behavior Maggie & her sheep have shown this season.
Im crossing my fingers that the viewer's voices will be finally heard & perhaps next season BB will consider bringing back the Viewer's Vote to evict the HGs - they eliminated that after the 1st season becuz the remaining HGs were too nice - That definitely would NOT have been an issue this season - I guarantee that!!!
Its too bad we won't be treated to the live feeds once the HGs leave the BB house & return to their family & friends. I'd luv to be there to watch Dan dump Jen's sorry butt telling her that he can't be with anyone who would stoop so low for $750/week. That she should take the pic of him she won during HOH & cherish it, since that's all she will have left of him!!! Watch her friends & family reaction to all her lies & total loss of face. If she were my daughter, I would be SO ashamed of her!!!
Would love to see April reunite with her hubbie - will he be as happy to have her home as we will be to stop watching her? Perhaps he'll look for another game show to send her away to???
Maggie must face the reality that she behaves like a 12 yr old, and she must learn to stop pouting all the time! There have been times that if her lower lip got any lower, she woulda stepped on it!!!
Beau needs to seriously consider AA or drastically reduce the number of drinks he consumes in one night!
Would luv to see Sara bringing James home to meet her family (I don't think they've ever met each other!)
Luv to watch Michael & Janelle - will they be as good a match outside the house as they were inside? History seems to say that these BB relationships never work, but who knows, they could be the next Rob & Amber!!!
And Kaysar - would love to see his welcome home parade in his home town!! His friends & family have a lot to be proud of, as Kay really showed what kind of guy he is. Clealry, Kay puts people way above money & power, as he clearly demonstrated many times in the house but at no time more clearly as he did when he gave Jen HOH just so she could see photos of her BF!! That's some kind of guy there who will ALWAYS be a winner in my book!
Posted by: JJ at August 22, 2005 10:00 PM
I wish people would stop saying that Jennifer got Kaysar to give her the HOH It was not only Jennifer who was in on that. It was a combined force of Ivette, Maggie and at one point I even saw Rachel and Janelle confirming what the friendship were telling him ie "we are all one big happy family now and we want James out"Remember he had been away from the house for a week and even before he left they had wanted that .It may have turned out to be his downfall to take them at their word but ultimately he wasnt evicted because he was trusting or easy to nanipulate {in which case he would still be there.} He was evicted because he was able to think clearly and he brought his group together into such a strong force that they would be invincable!I cant count how many times I heard the fiends say "His team fell apart without him Now that he is back they are stronger mentally and psychologically"Also I think if you go back and look at the results of competitions the Fiends have not won more competitions Although Kaysars team was smaller to begin with {James and Sarah started out with the fiends}They have all won HOH .April and Ivette have yet to win anything and they are still there That doesnt mean they are better players. It is just like Howie said "They are not worth wasting a vote on." That lacklustre group of fiends are hardly friends they are just sticking together because they cant do anything by themselves. They dont really like each other.Jennifer thinks she outsmarted Kaysar because he decided to show compassion. Now she knows how smart that was.She didnt sacrifice herself for the team ..She was used by them!! STUPID GIRL!!! STUPID GIRL! By the way I was reading the pre show interviews with Marcellous{housecalls} and Jennifer said she didnt like stupid people,(LOL}That was a good one! The rest of the interview was very boring just like she was on the show. She lacked confidence and looked uncomfortable throughout the whole thing. She also confirmed what has been said many times:That she has no friends in the real world either other than DANNY BOY!Imagine how pathetic that relationship must be.She had to go on TV and make up stories about good looking guys hitting on her to make him jeajous enough to buy her a ring[Her own words}I hope he is watching the feeds and hears that for himself. She wanted to make him jealous .That explains why all her HOH pictures were of her and Beau(gay) and her and Howie(who could care less)If she is so crazy about Dan why does she want to spend the whole summer away from him in sequester for minimum wage? Cant she get a real job?I used to wonder how she got cast for BB but now I dont know how she made it passed the psych test!
Posted by: alrak at August 22, 2005 11:48 PM
I must admit i'm not a big fan of Jennifer but i don't think it's nice to put someone down who makes minimum wage. I have had many jobs making minimum wage. It gave my family the extra money so my kids could have special things. Just because a person makes minimum wage doesn't make them less than a person who makes more. I hate people who think they are better because of the size of their paycheck. They are rude and treat minimum wage people like servants. We are hard working people who are trying to make our lives better just like you. Don't put us down. We do a service and deserve your respect as we give respect to you.
Posted by: jay at August 23, 2005 05:28 AM
Why the hell would they have to take HoH from Janelle if they took PoV away from James? She didn't cheat to get it. If he was suppose to untie something and didn't he doesn't deserve the PoV and I think it's b.s. he wasn't told. The others obviously did what he didn't do so they were obviously told. The Big Brother producers have really disappointed me. I hope everyone here that agrees with me is emailing the hell out of CBS. I hope there's a miracle and they reverse something because it's just not right.
Posted by: Matt at August 23, 2005 01:37 PM
Sorry Jay I did not mean to infer that working for minimum wage is anything to be judged. I have also worked for minimum wage and would do it again in an instant if I had to. My point was that I did not believe her claim that she didnt want to win the game. She said several times that it had always been her goal to make it to week 7 so she could be sequestered long enough to pay her credit card debt. {$9000.00 worth of undies)
