Interesting Press Release

I bet anything that they're going to make Kaysar "The Houseguest That Wouldn't Die" and offer America the choice of bringing him back--again. Why not? There's nothing against that in "The Rules."

This is has nothing to do with this topic...I felt so complelled to express my extreme disgust for IVETTE. OMG, how can she look her self in the mirror and honestly believe that she is better than Rachel or anyone else. How can she be apalled at Rachel, when every other word from her mouth is slandering Rachel.
OOHHH I hate her...thanks I just needed to rant!!!!
Posted by: totally_addicted at August 23, 2005 06:33 PM
This sounds great, hopefully it'll be someone to help Howie, Rachel and Janelle's team. Who will it be between though? Is Kaysar going to be apart of it since he left again after the first one?? lol I HOPE SO!

WOW!! I wonder what it'll be??
"America's Choice" campaign allows
wireless subscribers to participate in
events that will, undoubtedly, alter the
final outcome of the show
That right there makes it sound like we can vote out someone or give someone the veto or something. Altering the final outcome?? Before a lot of the America's Choice were just "Who would you like to have an internet chat with" I dunno what types of things they had last year b/c I was in Australia and missed the show, but that's just an example of the types of things that were there before...
And as a final comment on the "Janey's hair extension convo" Tonight it was clear that Janelle's hair was/is naturally curly/wavy... (I'm speaking from experience as to what this type of pain in the butt hair looks like and how difficult it is to manage and get it to look the way ya want it to)As far as I know, hair extensions are not the easiest things to style. It doesn't seem like she would be able to spend all that time brushing her hair straight without damaging the extensions... But I digress and I now get off the Janey's hair extension soap box. It's just my own opinion so y'all can tell me I'm wrong, I really don't care... just do it nicer than ya have done before. Thanks =o)
Posted by: Tracy at August 23, 2005 07:02 PM
Ok, maybe "America's Choice" will be who gets the next HOH or who get's nominated! That's my guess....
Posted by: Robin at August 23, 2005 07:19 PM
I'm still wanting to know why anybody cares whether she wears extensions or not. You cannot complain about people being "fake" and then turn around and lob up incredibly shallow criticisms of people's appearance. Somebody said Rachel's eyes were too close together. Wtf is that?
If we're complaining about how these beautiful people look I cannot imagine the complaints if they were "normal."
***** Note from HamsterDame - Go ahead and try to talk some more about hair extensions. Go ahead and try me. LOL I don't care who's wearing them. I don't care who's weaving them. Talk about them again and it ain't gonna be making the blog anymore. Consider this the final word. :)
Posted by: Shane at August 23, 2005 07:23 PM
Perhaps we'll get the veto for next week and take James off his "roll"???
Posted by: Peggy in Buffalo at August 23, 2005 07:34 PM
I think that it will be for a visit or a phone call from a family member.
everyone else's guess is way to complicated
Posted by: anne marie failor at August 23, 2005 07:35 PM
I'm willing to say that we will get to vote on who gets the money on the last day :) but hey, that would be too simple wouldn't it??? LOL
HDame, i'm with you on the hair issue, who REALLY cares?

Hullo poppets!! I'm back! It took me an hour to get thru all the new stuff posted since my last comment and obviously I missed a lot. Methinks that America's Choice will reunite sumbunny in the house w/their partner.
Posted by: Kserfan26 at August 23, 2005 07:44 PM
Wow! How exciting a new "America's Choice"!
Only speculation at this point but what if America gets to vote out a person when it gets down to the final 3?!?!?!?! Wouldn't that be fun!
I must say that as much as I don't like James, he is certainly playing good game right now. He's in a prime position to make himself a real contender...IF the power shifts to the other side this week, as it has been flip flopping back and forth, so far.
I must dispute the earlier comment about Ivette.
She (Ivette) hit the nail right on her head about Rachel tonight. She is totally a sore loser. And the faces and comments tonight...now who's being immature and how can she call the Friendship the "nerd herd" when she's the biggest nerd in the house!
I appreciate all the positivity that I've received about my previous comments in other topics. I truly enjoy this format and that we get to interact over BB topics. There are truly more of us out there than I thought! It's been a great experience to have conversations with other BB Addicts out there!
Note to HamsterDame - did not mean to offend or go off the deep end in previous "vanity" conversations:) I just got alittle worked up about a point and felt the need to be "right"... I get a little over zealous at times! Again, sincere apologies!

I was watching the live feed the other night and Howie swore that if he doesn't get evicted this week he'll do a few laps naked on Friday (with his bandanna strategically placed). Maybe America is voting to force him to NOT DO THAT! That would certainly be MY choice!
Posted by: KRFan at August 23, 2005 07:56 PM
It's going to be a phone call America's Choice. Janelle just mentioned they asked her in the DR who she'd like a phone call from.
Posted by: Russ at August 23, 2005 08:03 PM
How would a phone call alter the outcome of the game? I would think that was it if they had not said it will "alter" the outcome, but now I have no clue!
Posted by: brandi at August 23, 2005 09:01 PM
I was just watching the live feed. Howie is going off about Beau not sticking to his word about last night when Beau said he wouldn't vote Howie off if Howie would streak or feed him mouth to mouth. Didn't Howie learn not to trust the leaches after what Jennifer did? Shame on him!!
Posted by: jean at August 23, 2005 09:36 PM
I don't know if it is true but I read that there won't be a show on Sat. and that they are announcing AC next Tue. So, I'm thinking it has to be an eviction if it is live again. Well, that and b/c their are too many people left. That's the only thing I can think of that would alter the outcome of the game. I just want there to be an eviction to get rid of those liars in the HOH room now.
Posted by: nicole at August 24, 2005 12:40 AM
I agree with you Brandi - I do not think a phone call from home will "undoubtedly, alter the final outcome of the show".
Am I reading correct that only text messengers will be allowed to vote? I know that they receive direct income from text messengers, but what about those of us who have paid for the internet feeds?
I read that about 10% of the votes received in the Kaysar return vote were from text messengers... Maybe they think the internet voters "stuffed the ballot box" by multiple votes?
4:20 am BBT - all HG asleep.
Posted by: Peggy in Buffalo at August 24, 2005 04:20 AM
I 100% agree with the post from "totally_addicted" about Ivettes comments. I almost fell over with her ridiculous rant about Rachel. Rachel may have been sarcastic but so what! The girl just got put up for eviction. Would Ivette have preferred Rachel to go run in corner and cry somewhere like Ivette normally does?
And Ivette saying that Rachel is mean and nasty? WTF? That girl has completely stepped away from reality if she can say that with a straight face. Ivette has been one of the nastiest people in the house from the very begining.
I can not stand that girl!!!
And then to go on and on about Rachel being an old wench and a sore loser...PLEASE! At that point I just prayed they would take the camera off of her. I felt like throwing up!
Posted by: Sonia at August 24, 2005 05:14 AM
As far as what I think the America's Choice Vote will be I pray it is that we get to pick who gets evicted next. If there is any justice let's hope so. But it makes me suspect that since it is only text voting it will be something much less interesting :(
***** Note from HamsterDame - We don't know that it will be just text voting.
Posted by: Sonia at August 24, 2005 05:17 AM
I have been thinking about what America's Choice could alter the game as it stands now. I can only come up with that we are going to be allowed to totally remove a player from the game and by totally remove I mean that the HG we choose will not go to the sequester but home. This would alter the game by changing the final vote tally in the end along with changing the strategy planning going on in the house.
Posted by: Smitty at August 24, 2005 05:27 AM
Smitty, that is a brilliant thought! That really would shake the game up wouldn't it?
Posted by: HamsterDame at August 24, 2005 05:44 AM
I think the "big text/online surprise" is a phone call from home. That would supposedly alter the vote because of jealousy. Woooooo!
CBS has already proven that REALLY BIG SURPRISES don't exist in this year's game. So don't expect anything big to come from America's Choice this time...then we'll all be surprised if CBS comes through for a change!

OK, I have no clue honestly, Im thinking voting someone off or making someone HOH.. However I am SOOO sick of everyone bashing Ivette and Maggie and their team for talking about the other team.. GEEZ PEOPLE get a darn grip.. Do you all not remember the talk Janelle Howie Kayser and ect.. did the first few weeks of the game, and you justify Janie telling someone go F themselves to someone that wasnt even speaking yet you get pissy when Ivette says something? Really this is sad... I just cant believe I see the word hate and ect for TV characters playing a GAME! I bet half of them aren't this way IRL or else they would have noone, such as howie and janie with the attitudes they have no REAL person would stand for someone saying or thinking they are better. Let's get off our high horses and know that whatever janie is doing so is ivette and whatever howie is doing so is someone else! The are all equally pathetic in this game, each one has a fault and has been rude in some way for some stupid reason.. and I dont want to hear oh well shes doing it cause ivette blah blah blah... YOU dont live in that house! You dont see EVERYTHING. This is a game and that is what they are doing is playing.. I can tell ya if Janie was to talk to me the way she has ALL of them for NO reason... Id have alot of nasty things to say also... and I would probably be kicked off the show for smacking her one good time.. I have seen so much hate on this site its just pathetic. ITS A GAME and hate is a strong word! You can NOT hate someone you do not know personally! Grrr lets grow up a tad more so we can enjoy this.
If they are fightin and name calling cool its fun to watch but dont sat ivette is worse then the others cause number one you arent there 24/7 and you dont know them!
Cant accuse one without accusing them ALL at one point.!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if AC is to vote who wins the game!?! I know that sounds strange, but it fits with all of the clues so far:
It keeps everyone interested until the end.
It will certainly "affect the outcome".
They got huge response from the first AC.
They know everyone will hate them if someone from the "nerd herd" wins the game.
And JULIE DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT SEQUESTER TO JENNIFER WHEN SHE LEFT!! In fact, the only ones talking about sequester are the houseguests and us. Julie hasn't said anything about the sequester house or the jury. Maybe that is because there isn't going to be one.
Hmmmmmmm........
Posted by: redneckybecky at August 24, 2005 09:36 AM
I was just wondering if anyone knows does the BB house play usic for them when the houseguests ask them too? Because i've noticed that everytime one of them says something about music that the live feeds go tothe fish.
Posted by: Jill at August 24, 2005 09:38 AM
I thought about A/C being that as well redneckybecky but then reading the post again it says julie will be announcing the outcome on tuesday aug 30th episode, i don't think the show is over then is it? After listening to the live feeds it seems the houseguest know that an A/c is coming up, they were also speculating another double eviction, maybe A/c will get to vote off the double eviction? who knows guess we wait till thursday.
Posted by: claire at August 24, 2005 12:25 PM
Redneckybecky, I would love it if you were right, but I watched the House Calls show from Monday when they had Jennifer on, and they said she was calling in from the sequester house, so I'm pretty sure the jury will be involved. I did have an idea that would be a great twist for an America's Choice, though. I think it would be really interesting if they had America vote for the winner out of the final two, and those votes count for 50% of the total, and the jury's votes count for the other 50%. That way the "stacked jury" wouldn't have so much power. Hmmm....
Obviously I don't think that will be what this America's Choice will be about, but they could do another one at the end. What do you all think?
Posted by: Lauren K at August 24, 2005 12:45 PM
p'haps AC would involve us choosing from a list of competitions. We could easily find out on the 30th.the competitions could be geared toward one HG's or anothers skills and so we could potentially affect the outcome by voting for an easy comp for who we wanted to win.
