Wake Up Boys And Girls!
It is early in the AM here on what's going to be a scorching Sunday. When will I step outside of my humble abode today? I'm not sure but it will all depend on the drama that may or may not happen in the Big Brother house today.
For the last hour I've been catching up on what happened with the hamsters last night. (Yes, even I need my beauty sleep occasionally.) So far I've seen pics of Ivette laid prone on the floor outside of the HOH room spying, read how Janelle wanted to be put up in place of James so that she can go home, and then read how Howie and Kaysar came up with a kooky plan to keep Kaysar and Janelle in the game.
This kooky plan consists of going to Maggie today and asking her to align with them, The Singles. They are going to point out to her that her Maggie Mafia consists of pairs and that she will be the first one sacrificed, when needed, because she is a single. After all, why would they concern themselves with keeping Maggie safe when someone in their group has a shot at a million dollars? Since Sarah won POV yesterday and will be taking James off the block, The Singles want Maggie to put up Ivette so that Ivette can be evicted.
Now let's examine Maggie and her position for a moment. Maggie had been a fairly silent hamster in the house for the most part. She hadn't been making any waves and preferred watching the drama going on about her instead of being part of the drama. Then Maggie's hot-tempered partner, Eric AKA Crappy, was evicted this last Thursday eve amidst a house divided. She had to win HOH to avenge Cappy's exit from the house. And win HOH she did.
But now with the knowledge (that Eric did not have) that couples making it to the final two would win substantially more money than a single like herself, she, instead of being a smart player and thinking of the big picture, made the biggest bonehead nominations in Big Brother so far this season. She nominates Kaysar (a single) and James (the ultimate flip-flopper). WTF?
Ivette AKA Evilette has been so far up Maggie's ass since winning HOH that she could reach out and flick Maggie's uvula. And April, oh April, just SHUT UP already! Both of these ahem ladies should be put up for their annoying factor alone IMO.
But wait. WAIT! Remember the kooky plan I told you about earlier? Did any of you catch who I said came up with this plan they're taking to Maggie? Did you notice anything weird? Oh come on. Go back and read if you have to. Yes! Howie, who is coupled with Rachel, helped hatch this plan. Hmmmm.
So will the Howie/Kaysar/Janelle faction actually present this kooky plan to Maggie today? Will Maggie go along with it? Will April cry today? Will Evilette compare Kaysar to Osama Bin Laden again today?
Stay tuned boys and girls. Lots of fun could be had by all today.
Update at 2:30 PM - Well Kaysar just confronted Maggie about this 'plan' in the Workout Room. Kaysar did so poorly at it that Maggie must be peeing her pants in laughter right now. Bye Bye Kaysar.

And The Nominees Are...
James and Kaysar
If you were a smart player, you would definitely try to get Kaysar out this week because of how he's been playing the game.
If you were a stupid player, you'd get rid of James because you know he can't stick to an alliance to save his life.
With that said, I hope they're stupid players this week.
But then James has won POV two weeks in a row.
This will be vewy vewy intewesting.
P.S. If Kaysar doesn't win POV this week AND/OR it happens to be one of those POV comps with no winner, then Kaysar will be walking out the door on Thursday. That's my prediction. What are yours?
Update Saturday 4:30 PM - Sarah won POV. Kaysar's gone. The Maggie Mafia have confirmed that Kaysar's going home. Janelle will have to win HOH next week or she's the next one gone.

Aye Aye Aye
Not sure where to start.
All that's important right now is Eric's gone.
And.
Maggie won HOH tonight.
Ugh.
If somebody from the Super 6 goes, let it be James. I don't trust him in the least.
But.
Julie says there will be another twist announced next week.
What could the next twist be? What are your feelings on Eric being evicted? What do you think about Maggie getting HOH?

Hot! My Interview With Marcellas Reynolds of Big Brother
Hey hey everybody! I have a surprise for you. OK, well it's not a suprise anymore if you already read the title of this post.
Today I interviewed Marcellas Reynolds, a contestant from Big Brother 3 and currently co-hosting House Calls with Gretchen Massey! Talk about making a girl's day. Scratch that. MONTH!
I hope you enjoy it. I sure did! Please feel free to leave me your comments and let me know what you think because, well you know me, I just want to know. :)
Thank you Marcellas!
Hi there Marcellas! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to do this interview with me for the Silly Hamsters blog. How are you doing? Getting enough beauty sleep lately?
I'm so good right now. I'm just so excited and happy about my life. My career is going well, my family is happy and healthy, I've got a great crew of friends! "The H.C." is a blast. I leap out of bed each day to go to work! As far as sleep; no! I've got the deepest bags under my eyes ever! Yikes. But these HG's are crazy! I don't wanna miss a moment!
Before I get to any other questions, I have to say that my favorite challenge with you on Big Brother 3 was the one with the gnomes. I know you came back on Big Brother 4 to give the houseguests instructions for a food challenge that involved gnomes. How many gnomes do you have at home?
There is only one gnome in my life. Boo. All others pale by comparison!
I'm a huge fan of Big Brother (obviously!) and House Calls. What's an average day of yours like during the weekdays while Big Brother is on and you're doing House Calls?
Gosh! My day starts @ 6:30. I get up, check the feeds and read updates @ several sites. I'm @ the gym by 7 and back home @ 8. Check the feeds and updates again, then in the shower. Check the feeds again then off to the studio. We have a 9 a.m. production meeting where we talk about the previous nights events and decide topics for that day. 10 a.m., showtime! Production meeting for 30 minutes after. Gretchen and I usually go shopping, have coffee or hang for a bit and then back home and back to the feeds! I check the boards to see what people thought of the show as soon as I get home.
You mention on House Calls a couple of times a week being glued to the feeds. How many hours per day are you usually able to spend watching the live feeds or do you mostly watch during the weekends?
I spend anywhere from 3 to 5 hours a day on the feeds. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I take House Calls and Big Brother very seriously. For 3 months this is my life.
Now on to the silly hamsters of Big Brother 6. Do you have a favorite hamster so far and what made you their favorite?
I don't have a fave. That makes this an interesting season as there is no clear cut person to cheer for. I like Kaysar and Janelle. I'd be happy if either of them won! I also think Rachel and Howie are playing a good game. Sarah I like but I'm sorta indifferent about. She needs to do something!
Do you have a hamster you really dislike in the Big Brother house this year? If so, what happened to cause you not to like them very much in the house?
Eric is one of the worst HG's in Big Brother History. Right up there with Will season 1, Josh season 3 and Cowboy from season 5. I don't think they are bad people I just don't like their level of game play. Eric's use of racial epithets as a firefighter and father shocks me. The way he's levelled charges of sexual harassment @ Michael I think was unwarranted and unprofessional. Unprofessional because he brings up that he's a firefighter and he's seen abuse before. That was a gross thing to say about someone.
Is there any one hamster in particular that you have come to completely view in a different light (either positive or negative) between the start of the show and now?
Eric and Ivette. I liked them both when I interviewed them. Now not so much. They seem to think they are these moral paragons and they have both said racist, horrid things. I hope they don't mean them.
How do you think Big Brother's Summer of Secrets is turning out this year? Is there anything in particular you would like to see happen?
I like this season better than 5. These players lack the charisma of Holly, Jase, Lori & Diane but I love how cutthroat they are. They are here to play! I like that! I'd like to see Michael come back and get a fair shot. He didn't deserve what he got.
Here's a light-hearted question for ya now. Do you have any idea what the combination to the safes are and what might be in them? What would you like to be in the safes?
I have no idea what's going on with the safes! I hope it's a cash prize! Like the HG that figures it out wins a prize! A car or a trip! I'd love it also if it forwarded the game. Changed it. Open the safe and win immunity in the game!
Speaking of the safes, does it bother you as much as it does me that they just give up on trying to open them? I just don't understand it personally.
Yes it does. IF I were there those safes would be open by now. I'd be trying to fashion a blowtorch out of lighters!
Do you think that a houseguest, or houseguests, might be re-introduced to the house this season? If so, how far down the line would you like to see that happen?
I know just as much as everyone else but something is up! I can tell! It'll happen after 4 players are gone like BB3.
Of course I have to ask you this question. Who would you like to see win Big Brother 6?
Janelle, Sarah or Kaysar.
And finally, do you have any upcoming appearances or special events scheduled that you would like us to know about? Any more photo shoots for magazine covers in the works? (Check out his cover for IN Los Angeles magazine!)
I've got so much going on! I'm in the "2006 Sexiest Men Of Reality Calendar". I shot a pilot as host for a make-over show on BET. I am sitting on a contract to host events and do celeb interviews for another channel (can't say until it's signed). I'm contracted to CBS until "The H.C." ends in September. The 1st episode I shot of "How Do I Look?" for the Style Channel airs on August 22nd! I go out on auditions almost everyday. I'm busy and blessed! Big Brother changed my life!

It's House Calls' Fault
OK, well maybe it's not their fault. But today's House Calls did give me an idea. (And in case you didn't or couldn't watch it today, click the link above and go to the Archives section. That day's epi is usually up by 7:00 Central time.)
Anyway, Gretchen and Marcellas participated in a little competition that Gretchen had originally come up with last year. They each had a bucket full of socks and they had two minutes to make as many pairs as they can. Of course, the one with the most pairs wins. BTW, Marcellas won. LOL
So it got me thinking (stand clear, it could be dangerous) about what kind of ideas for competitions you guys could come up with. They could be for HOH, POV, or food comps - it doesn't matter.
And would you like to see more endurance and physical competitions? I know I definitely do. If I see that damned blue thing for the knowledge comps in the next two weeks I'm going to scream.
So tell me. Do you have an interesting concept for a Big Brother competition? If so, what is it?

Is Cappy Going Down?
Well James used the POV on himself today and Kaysar put up Eric.
Does anybody think that enough votes will be swayed so that Maggie goes home and Eric stays? Who do you think might switch their votes?
Do you even want Eric to go home right now???
Let me know in the comments below. I'm interested in reading what you have to say.

Power Trippin'
It's really disheartening to see Kaysar acting almost the way Eric did when he was HOH. Although I can't be too surprised I guess. This is the way it's always happened. Remember how Jee acted in BB4? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Joe Bob wins the crown. Joe Bob sees himself as invincible. Joe Bob's head size causes grumbling in the ranks. Joe Bob falls from power. Joe Bob then realizes the target on his chest is bigger than ever.
As of this moment, the POV ceremony still hasn't been held. There's a possibility that Kaysar might not put Eric up in James' place. Maggie's now saying she wants to go home and wants people to vote her out so that Eric can stay. Who knows what's going to happen at this point...lol
Oh, and April/Jennifer and Ivette/Beau have 'outed' themselves as pairs although it seems they don't know their partners as well as the other couples. April and Jennifer had only talked twice (and that was by phone) prior to entering the BB house and Ivette and Beau are more like friends of friends and not true friends of each other. Interesting.
Sarah wasn't supposed to be James' partner in the house. He was supposed to come into the house with a friend of his but his friend backed out at the last moment. James suggested his new girlfriend of three months, Sarah, and there they are.
Ivette has also told the house that she's a lesbian and told all about her girlfriend, Maggie. I wonder how this is going to affect CBS' plans to reveal the pairs twist to the houseguests on Thursday since they have all been uncovered and discussed in the house already. Hmmm.
I wonder if Kaysar really will put up Eric in James' place now.
Waiting for POV ceremony. Tick tock. Tick tock.
Update at 5:23 PM - Well, it seems like the POV ceremony won't be taking place until tomorrow. Bummer! But on a happy note, today is Sarah's birthday and Big Brother provided her with a card from home, a gift basket, party decorations, a chocolate cake, ice cream, and pizza. They're all chowing down and chatting right now. Eric and Maggie were party poopers and left shortly after the party began - Eric went to exercise on the treadmill and Maggie got back into the hot tub.

Hiya Little Fishies
*tapping fingers impatiently waiting to find out the winner of the POV comp that is going on now*
Update at 12:43 PM - And we're back! After almost two hours of fishes we come back to Ivette cussing and Eric pleading with Ivette to tell him she knew nothing about this. James is talking with Jenny about it. Oooh! Janelle, Kaysar, and Howie are going on about it in the backyard. Now Eric's whispering to Maggie in the living room.
Who won it though??? It's somebody good I just don't know who yet. K/Jan/How high-fiving and Eric pissed off means it's all good but who won???
I'm cackling here. Honestly. I am.
Update at 12:49 PM - JAMES won the POV. There's a verbal fight going on in the gym between Sarah and Ivette. Kaysar just outed April and Jen as partners in the kitchen to their face and they're denying it. Jen told April that James and Sarah are boyfriend/girlfriend.
If you don't have the feeds on right now you are sincerely missing out!

Update at 3:11 PM - All of the pairs have outed themselves except for Ivette/Beau and April/Jennifer. Those four (mostly April and Ivette) are still denying they know each other. Boy will they look like idiots on Thursday eh? LOL
Update at 4:55 PM - Na-na-naa-na, Na-na-naa-na, Eh-eh-eh, Goodbyyee Eric

Ka-Blam!
Kaysar did it. Well as close as he could to doing it.
Kaysar nominated....drum roll please.....
James and Maggie
Eric looked like he might cry when the feeds came back up. Bwahahaha.
Eric just finished 'visiting' Kaysar in the HOH room trying to be a pal but now Eric's holding court in the WC (bathroom) with Rachel, Maggie, and Ivette. They're now going over 'what ifs' and consequences.
I'm going back to Quad cam. I want to see what Kaysar's telling Janelle about his and Eric's little convo. Oh Janelle still isn't back in there. Sarah's got him involved at the moment. Sarah seems dejected in talking with Kaysar thinking that James will be gone.
Poor little Sarah. Oh well. I'm going back to the feeds full time now.
Ciao my BB buddies.

Kaysar is HOH!!!
I love it! I love it! I love it!
I only would have loved it more if Janelle had won HOH but Kaysar winning HOH is just fine with me.
I hope Michael was able to see it his buddy getting it.
Can I get an 'Amen'! :)
Let the butt-kissing begin.

Report: Janelle a Wanted Woman
According to The Smoking Gun, Big Brother 6 Houseguest Janelle Pierzina was charged in December 2001 with stealing $400 of merchandise from Macy's!
But when she was a no show for an her court appearances, a judge issued a series of bench warrants for Pierzina's arrest.
On June 24 - two weeks before the premier of Big Brother 6 - Pierzina pleaded to the petty theft rap and was fined $982 and ordered to stay at least 100 yards from the retailer. WHO AMONG US COULD STAND TO STAY AWAY FROM MACY'S?! TOUGH LOVE JUDGE!
Pierzina's rap sheet also includes an August 2000 drunk driving arrest in Minnesota. BURP! (Nice mug shot, Janelle!)

Who Do You Want?
It appears that unfortunately (or fortunately for some of you) that Michael will be exiting the Big Brother abode this evening so I have two quick questions for you.
1. Who do you really want to win HOH tonight?
2. Who do you absolutely not want to win HOH tonight?
Please only give me one person's name for each question. LOL
I'll post my answers in the comments so if you're interested in seeing what my answers to these two questions are, click on the 'Comments' link right beneath this post. That is also where you'll go to leave your answers for everybody else to check out.
So whatcha waitin' for? Answer my questions already! :)

Where Do I Begin?
OMG! The show tonight!
Wow. Argh. Um. Wow again.
More thoughts tomorrow. I'm in shock.
Wow.
Update at 9:44 PM - Never mind. I'm back. I can't believe how Michael was made out to be the scapegoat tonight. Now don't get me wrong, he's def not a saint but come on! And then to find out that Rachel really was the one that went and started this all? Not good Rachel. Poor Howie.
I loved hearing the Big Brother voice telling the hamsters to 'go to their corners'. I was in awe of Kaysar standing over Ivette like he was going to beat her down. (Yikes! That must have been right before he threw his water bottle at the wall and then got a bloody knee because the bottle came back and hit him. That part is funny but it's not ya know?)
I did appreciate seeing Eric apologize to Michael. I thought it hilarious that Michael was nonchalant about the whole thing.
I thought us 'live feeders' should have been able to see more of the events of the whole fiasco instead of fish.
Eric to the DR! Michael to the SR!
The others were left in the backyard which is when the Ivette/Kaysar deal began. Kaysar looked like he was ready to punch Ivette's lights out with that stance over her. (Why couldn't we have seen that on the feeds???) After that had happened, I would have completely understood BB turning the feeds off temporarily until order had been restored. Because, after all, they had more than the HGs in the house at that point and that couldn't have been shown on TV or the feeds.
Kaysar to the hammock! Ivette to the gym!
And I'm sorry but the whole putting the clock in the gym with the time on it being the combination to the lock was cheesey. ABSOLUTELY CHEESEY! And Sarah was the one that got it? Somehow I find that hard to believe.
I'm beginning to ramble now but hopefully some of you are appreciating this rambling. If you don't like my rambling just lie to me as if we were in the BB house together.
I promise! Me and you to the end! Pinky swear! ;)

Heads Up Julie Lovers
Our beloved (to me anyway) Julie Chen is scheduled to appear tonight on Late Show with David Letterman. I wonder what she'll say. I wonder if she'll address Eric's attitude. I wonder if she'll mention the Eric/Michael tiff. I wonder if she'll talk about how trashy Ivette and April are behaving on the show. I wonder if she'll let slip that Michael & Janelle are kissing and making out in the house. I wonder...
Oh and for the record, I don't like that they were given access to the workout room so early. I'm tired of watching them work out and tired of hearing the machines already. Big Brother really should have made them earn it instead of caving in. And I happen to like watching the girls get pudgy and bitch and moan about not being able to fit into their clothes anymore! I'm just snarky like that. Teehee
Besides, isn't that what the Shopping Spree luxury comp will be for later on down the road? LOL
More later...

Stick A Fork In Him
Well for all of you that don't know yet, James won the POV and has no plans to use it.
Michael's as good as gone. Eric and Ivette plan to take out Kaysar next and then Janelle after that. Both have said they won't get up and walk Michael to the door on Thursday night. I wonder what Big Brother thinks about that.
I'm really liking Janelle more and more everyday. I sure hope she wins HOH next.

Will Eric Be Kicked Out?
It all just went down about 25 minutes ago.
Eric got into it with Michael. Eric provoked him and tried to go after him but Kaysar kept him from getting to Michael and James stood between Michael and Eric.
For those of you not familiar with the feeds (and why aren't you?) I took these pics while on Quad cam. BTW,
Eric has no shirt on and gray shorts.
Michael has on a gray tank top and black pants.
Kaysar is wearing the black tank top and orange shorts.
Howie has no shirt on and the blue shorts.
James has the white shirt on and the camo shorts.

Then a voice came over the speakers in the house telling Eric to go to the Diary Room "now"! Then we got the fishes.
Oh please oh please oh please Big Brother, boot Eric from the house!
If you kicked Scott out a couple of seasons ago for kicking and tossing chairs in the living room surely you have to kick Eric out for going after another houseguest!
Update at 12:35 AM - Inside sources (not related to me or this blog) say ejections possible. Dammit! I only want Eric evicted! Not Michael too!
Update at 12:42 AM - Search around and you can find a link to the mp3 of the fight. Oh and by the way, nobody was talking about Eric's family.
Update at 12:50 AM - Inside sources (again not related to me or this blog) say that probably Eric will be getting the boot tonight and Michael will just be warned. Oh I hope that's what happens! Please BB!
Update at 1:16 AM - Search around and you can find a link to download the fight.
Update at 2:06 AM - Search around again and you can find a couple of different versions of the fight.
Update at 3:11 AM - I'm getting sleeeeeeeepy and it's still on the fishies. I'm beginning to think it will be several more hours until the feeds come back. Perhaps I should risk going to sleep?
Update at 4:01 AM - The fishies are putting me to sleep. I'm out for the night errrr you know what I mean.
Update at 4:53 AM - The feeds are back!!!! And Michael's still there!!!!
Update at 11:21 AM - To say that I am angry to wake up this morning and see that Eric is still in the house and only got a warning is an understatement. A huge understatement.
Update at 6:13 PM - I've had to remove the links to the videos of the fight and the mp3 of the fight. Sorry all. Google is your friend.

I See Yellow Fishies
There once was a hamster named 'Cappy'
Who acted just like my friend's pappy
Hungry for power
My face he would sour
The words uttered by him were just crappy
See the pretty little yellow fishies? They're just swimming and swimming and then dieing. Poor fishies.
I swear I've had to use the little girl's room five times in the last few hours because of the bubbles. I wish the comp would hurry up and end because I want to know who won the POV. *please let it be Michael or Janelle*
I have completely and totally had it with Eric now. I am sick and tired of hearing him go on and on about Michael "sexually harassing" the women in the house. Whatever! So Michael's a touchy-feely type of person. If some of the women are/were that uncomfortable with it when he touches/ed them they should say something to him about it instead of scurrying around like little eight-legged critters to the self-proclaimed King Daddy of the house.
Is poor wittle Eric jealous he can't feel up the women himself because he's married? Yup. Is he jealous that the women aren't attracted to him like they are Michael? Most definitely. Does he know that Michael's a threat to him in the game if the women like him more? You bet your sweet ass.
Would you like to know what I find very odd so far this season? No? Well I'm going to tell you anyway. Why in the h-e-double hockey sticks aren't more of the houseguests trying to figure out all the secrets in the house? So far only Michael, Janelle, Kaysar, and Ashlea (now evicted) have tried to figure out the the combination to the safes in the Gold Room (GR) and how to gain access to the workout room. Kaysar is the only one (that I know of) that has put a quarter in the gumball machine. All of the hamsters have been told that this is the 'summer of secrets' and that the house contains many more secrets for them to find out about.
If I were in that house, I'd be trying to find out those secrets. I would be working on getting into the workout room and opening those safes. I would be trying to obtain more quarters to feed the gumball machine with to see what was in all those plastic balls rather than saving them up for later. I guess Big Brother is going to have to lead most of these people by the hand and say, "Look here. That is part of the secret. And see over there? That's part of a secret too. The combination to the bottom left safe in the GR is 3-29-44..." and on and on and on.
Wouldn't you be trying to figure out all of the secrets in the house if you were in there?
Update at 8:05 PM - It seems we won't know the winner of the POV until tomorrow if they even had it to begin with. Bummer! Also, it seems they're able to access the workout room now. Big Brother must have had to open it up for them or else it would never have been unlocked...lol
Update at 9:32 PM - It's confirmed. They did not have the POV competition today. It was just a practice for the competition which will be held tomorrow. Howie says he's going to try his hardest to win it. Hmmmmmmmm
Update July 17th at 1:06 AM - From an inside source, there was the long FISH because there was massive equipment problem in the competition. They had to trash the competition.

Nothing Against Firemen
Ack! Why did Eric have to win HOH in the Big Brother house this week? I wanted Michael or Janelle to win it this week.
Ya know, I used to like Eric about 4,320 minutes ago. I still kinda like him but not really. I like headstrong people. I do not like monopolizing people.
And he of all people had to win HOH tonight? Urgh. The only thing worse would have been if April had won it. Actually, at this point I would prefer it if April had won HOH. Well except for the whole having to hear her grating voice more and more on the live feeds.
CBS finally revealed the pairs tonight. Most of us had the pairs already figured out - we just didn't know exactly how they were pairs for the most part.
Ivette & Beau - Former Co-Workers (Lincoln Road anyone?)
Michael & Kaysar - Neighbors (have known each other 6 yrs)
Maggie & Eric - Friends (her boyfriend works with him)
Sarah & James - Dating (didn't we all know this? duh!)
April & Jennifer - Sorority Sisters (that hurts my brain)
Ashlea & Janelle - Ex-Roommates (I wonder from how long ago?)
Rachel & Howie - Best Friends (but haven't seen each other in a few years per Rachel)
Interesting. Oh wait. I'm sorry. I'm still thinking about the sorority sisters thing.
Well now that Ashlea's gone, I'm hoping that Janelle doesn't affix herself to Michael's hip even more (their next step is making out). Janelle needs to break away and try to find her own way in the house. Michael needs to open up more to the guys and chill with the girls (so the big bad fireman doesn't feel so threatened). I'm trying to prepare myself for nonstop talk from April from talking to Ivette from talking to Eric. Wish me luck. It's kinda hard to listen to the feeds with earplugs in.
Dammit! Why did Janelle have to lose tonight???

Look Ma! No Goatee!
Ladies and gents, one of my favorite hamsters Michael has shaved his goatee off!
While he does look less demonic without it, I'm going to miss My Little Lucifer. Mmmm, smooth skin.
Giving credit where credit's due, the caps below were posted by Dan at The TVClubhouse.

What do you think of his new look?

Pairs Revealed? Not!
CBS pulled a fast one on us viewers tonight. Tonight had been advertised as the show where they revealed the pairs. Guess not eh? They said at the end of the show tonight that the pairs would be revealed on Thursday's eviction show. Them sneaky CBS people. They sure got us!
I would have watched regardless though - as I'm sure all of you would have. As a matter of fact, I was hoping CBS would wait awhile before revealing the pairs. I wouldn't mind it if they waited 2 or 3 weeks more. That's fine by me.
What an interesting show tonight. We got to watch Kaysar say that it's important to play this game with morals and integrity. Um, hello? This is Big Brother fer cryin' out loud! What morals? What integrity? It's all about the money honey! OK, well the fame too because I'm sure we'll hear soon enough about how these hamsters want to be in the movies just like we've heard in previous years. But come on! Playing the game with morals and integrity will get you to maybe third place and that's stretching it. Even Jason was aware of that going into the game. This will be a quick ride for you Kaysar. I for one can't wait to see it end.
Speaking of ending, whatever happened to the opening Big Brother theme music? Why did they change it? I miss the old Big Brother music. *cry*
Ashlea's red bra - $35.00
Janelle's makeup - $80.00
Howie in Ashlea's red bra and in Janelle's makeup - Priceless
Rachel's discovery of the Gold Room was fun to watch. It would have been so much 'funner' if it had been shown on the live feeds though. I can just imagine thousands of us 'internet freaks' chasing her from feed to feed wondering what in the hell she was doing and then our amazement at her eventual discovery of the Gold Room and then our disdain at her selfishness of the whole matter after the fact. Oh the fun we could have had. We will have our chance eventually my friends.
Now I happen to like the twist to the Golden POV this year. I'm sure some of you don't. In case you missed it, not all of the POV competitions will have a winner. They now need to "plan their strategies". Nothing would please me more than to have somebody fighting for their life in the house win the POV competition only to find out it was for naught. I want the drama baby! And can you imagine the drama after that? It's what the dreams of BB fans are made of.
Did any of you catch CBS blurring out Ashlea's butt crack when she was in the process of standing up in the living room to pick her person for the POV comp? Hilarious I tell ya.
Did any of you catch that Rachel showed a blue ribbon attached to the POV medal in the POV meeting? When Rachel won, the POV medal was on a red ribbon. When Rachel decided not to change her nominations in the POV ceremony it was still a red ribbon.
What happened to the blue ribbon???
Why didn't they have knee pads for the competition???
Why would Jenny lock Rachel out of the HOH room???
What are you thoughts on tonight's show??? Tell me! I really want to know.
Well, I'm off to the feeds for a little bit before I crash for the night. Can't wait to read your comments on the show tonight. (You can leave them below and read others' comments by clicking the Comments link right below each post.)
Later gators.

The Hamsters
A few observations so far on these hamsters and my rating on them so far:
Ivette - She's a real firecracker! She talks really fast and says what's on her mind which will probably get her in trouble before too much longer. She talks about her cooter all the time and I mean all the time! Regardless, I like her and hope she stays around for awhile. 7 out of 10
Beau - He is no Marcellas let me tell ya. Marcellas was funny and smart. Beau is just taking up space. I did see him try to have one intelligent conversation with Howie yesterday about how he gets treated differently in real life because he's gay and doesn't want to be treated that way in the house. But then surprise! He decides to play stylist in the house by cutting Michael's hair which only goes to stereotype himself even more in the house. 3 out of 10
Eric - Eric is smart in that lunkhead kinda way. He also seems to be that easygoing type that you can just 'hang' with and toss back a brew or two together while watching the game on TV. When in a group though, he tends to try to overtalk everybody in an effort to steer the conversation where he thinks it should go. That's annoying. But he's damned good-looking. 7 out of 10
Maggie - She's a smart woman and everybody knows it. It seems to intimidate the other women especially and they tend not to involve her in their talk of boob jobs and cooters. Maggie needs to tell some gore stories from her job if she wants to fit in more or it might be her downfall. 8 out of 10
Michael - He's Mr. Creepy Guy. Always touching on, rubbing on, massaging on the women. Asking them to rub on him and massage him all the time. He's flirty with the women in a stalker way and not a fun way. The 'come hither' looks he throws out read more to me as 'watch yourself because I'm watching you'. Icky. 2 out of 10
Kaysar - It seems he's trying to hard to fit in somehow - too hard sometimes. He'll smoke with the smokers but won't inhale. Remind ya of somebody? His convo with Janelle about why she got her boob job came off as really judgmental and Janelle didn't appreciate it obviously. When he said the fish don't have souls (the fish have been sick and dieing), it perturbed several of the girls. He's not doing too well. 3 out of 10
James - He's been trying to make a name for himself and etch his name on the headboard as being the alpha male in the house. It's not working but through no fault of his own. He seems like a nice guy and I don't have anything much to say about him. Oh wait! I just thought of something. Get this. He drinks out of a bowl because "a glass doesn't hold enough". OK, he's a nice guy but a weirdo. 5 out of 10
Sarah - Little miss little miss little miss insecure. The guys like her because she looks so innocent and naive. Let me tell you though. She's not innocent and she's not naive. She's a snarky little witch that loves nothing more than to cut everybody down behind their backs to her boyfriend/dogfriend James. 6 out of 10
Janelle - She's smarter than she looks and seems to be playing 'the dumb blonde' role while trying to stay in the background. It's working. She's in the background so much they're wanting to get rid of her next because she's coming off as stand-offish. It seems her partner Ashlea will be leaving this week so her 'dumb blonde' bit needs to cease and desist. She needs to step it up and put some pressure on some of the other pairs to keep her partner in or she'll be gone soon as well. 4 out of 10
Ashlea - I really don't get her. She doesn't act like she even wants to be in the house. She's more stand-offish than her partner is. The girls don't like her. The guys don't like her. It's not looking good for her. The only way she has a chance in this house is if her partner steps up to the plate. 1 out of 10
April - I can't stand this woman. Honestly and truthfully. Her voice is grating. I'm tired of hearing about her boob job, nose job, and chin implant. I'm tired of hearing the guys (especially Howie) rave on and on about her body. I'm tired of her thinking she's so freaking smart when really she's about as smart as a pile of rocks. For my sake I hope she's gone soon. 1 out of 10
Jennifer - This girl seems to be barely smarter than her partner, April. She's the prettiest girl in the house but if I hear the guys (mostly Howie) call her 'my little Jenny' one more time I'm going to throw up. As a matter of fact when I typed that out just now, I threw up a little in my mouth. Really. 3 out of 10
Howie - Can you say pervert? Can you say sex fiend? This guy talks about sex so much that he reminds me of a 15-year-old teenage boy that's only read about it and hasn't actually 'gone fishing' yet. He is funny though - I'll give him that much. He's a hoot to listen to and everybody gets along with him. He'll be around for awhile. 8 out of 10
Rachel - Our first HOH. She also won the POV (Power of Veto) comp. She must have not watched too much of Big Brother in the past. She's playing stupid by winning both of these comps at the beginning. She's also getting a big head about it. But that's not why I don't like her. I don't like her just because she reminds me of 'The Runaway Bride' with them big bug eyes. Yeah, I'm shallow too sometimes. 1 out of 10
What are your thoughts on the hamsters so far? Tell me! I want to know.

Almost 48 Hours
So the feeds have been up for almost two days now.
I didn't get a chance to watch much of the feeds when they came on Thursday night because they came on so late. They've always come on a few minutes after the show finished airing here (Central time zone) but this time they didn't come on until 10:15 PM. I managed to stay up to watch about one hour's worth but then I had to call it a night. It'll take me a week or so to get on Big Brother time - at least as much as one living in my time zone can anyway.
When I checked the feeds yesterday morning after waking up they were asleep (gasp!). How dare they deprive me of early morning drunken hi-jinx? I watched for a little bit last night but what I saw was B-O-R-I-N-G.
I fired the feeds up this morning hoping for something. Anything. I didn't want to watch boring anymore. Well, let's just say I didn't get boring. What I did get was an interesting discussion on muff-diving and dental dams with Howie, Eric, Ivette, and April. Hell, all day long it's like it has been a bunch of talk of female genitalia and lingerie. Cooters, thongs, carpet-munching oh my! (BTW, all of those are terms they used.) Unfortunately, none of the men have 'whipped it out' so that a discussion of male genitalia could take place. Ah, HamsterDame give it time.
Just heard a snippet of a conversation with April and a couple of the other girls about how they got tested for STDs before coming into the house. Well that's a good thing! But really, as of right now, I don't see anybody hooking up with the exception of Sarah & James who are boyfriend/girlfriend in real life (confirmed by the following screenshot of them kissing that I found at TVClubhouse).

Speaking of that, part of the twist for Big Brother this season is that everybody came into the house as part of a pair. They were led to believe that they were the only pair in the house and that if they got to the end they would win one million dollars instead of the paltry $500,000. Well, all of the hamsters have figured out that everybody is part of a pair. I think I have figured out who the pairs are but I'm not too sure what kind of pairs some of them are. Following is my pairs list.
Beau/Ivette
Eric/Maggie
Michael/Kaysar
James/Sarah
Janelle/Ashleah
April/Jennifer
Howie/Rachel
I'm not sure what to think of the pairs thing/twist so far. Only time will tell I guess. But it's definitely better than the 'X' twist. At least I think so.
I can be so decisive sometimes.

The Addiction Begins
It all began in the year 2000.
I had seen commercials and online advertising for this show where they put a bunch of different people in a house together and the viewers voted someone out each week. Sounded interesting. They had cameras in the house and you could watch them online if you had AOL. Woohoo! I had AOL!
Even though I was on an old computer with a Pentium II 233MHz processor using Windows 95 and on dial-up I was hooked immediately.
After the first season, the format of the game changed in that the houseguests voted each other out. The show came on 3 days a week instead of 5 or 6. The house was a little snazzier. It was the first year of FOTH (Front Of The House) for the internet viewers. It was the first time a contestant was booted out of the house (Justin for putting a knife to Shannon's throat while they were drunk). While the game played itself out with the consent of the remaining three HGs (Will, Nicole, and Monica) it never finished airing. 9/11 happened. Monica's cousin died in one of the two towers.
Each subsequent season has drawn more and more fans of the reality game show. The house (newly rebuilt this year) has evolved over the years to include more and more amenities. The competitions have become more complicated. We, the 'internet freaks', have FISH (fish tank) instead of FOTH. I miss the groundskeepers watering the lawn and setting up the fake plants and trees from FOTH sometimes and even the FOTH music occasionally. A couple of months before BB4, I was finally able to buy myself a kick ass new computer and move up to cable internet. Yeah baby!
My family and friends know not to bother me when the Big Brother show is on. They know exactly what I'm doing when I'm not at work. I'm watching the live feeds. Gradually, I have brought some of them over to the 'dark side' with me but for the most part they just don't get it. Ah well. More bandwidth for me! :)
Bring on Big Brother 6!
P.S. Have any of you read this article? Vewwy vewwy intewesting. I can see myself in that article. Cool!
