Chenbot Gives Birth

Congratulations Chenbot! Our very own Big Brother hostess with the mostest, Julie Chen, gave birth today. Charlie Moonves was welcomed into the world at 9:40 AM PT this morning and both mother and son are doing wonderfully according to a short statement issued by CBS.

Chenbot went on maternity leave this last Friday and her due date was set for October 4th. I guess Charlie decided he'd had enough and wanted out a little early. You could say he gave her his own 'But First' moment!

As many of you know, Jordan and Jeff will be the featured guests on a live SuperPass chat tonight that begins at 6:00 PM PT - just click on the Big Brother tab to watch. There are rumors there might be other hamsters there as well! Next Thursday, Russell and Michele will be the featured guests in another live chat at also 6:00 PM PT. Personally, I'm more interested in that chat.

Again, congratulations Julie Chen and Les Moonves! We can't wait to see you on Big Brother Charlie!

Interviews Galore!

There are so many interviews (video, audio, and written) out there from the hamsters that it's not even funny! Many of them are from the backyard on finale night. As the days pass, expect some of the hamsters to open up a bit more about their experience in the house as they read what's been said about them by their fellow houseguests and the fans.

First, Real Networks has their interviews with all of hamsters conducted by Chelsia Hart (BB9) up in SuperPass in the Hot Clips section. CBS has theirs up in the Interviews section. WeLoveBigBrother.com has an entire load of videos up as well and you can check them out on their YouTube channel. Ross Mathews of Inside Dish has video from the backyard up here.

On Friday, the live feeds will begin streaming the Big Brother Meet and Greet party in Las Vegas. That goes from 4:00 PM PT to 8:00 PM PT. Then on Saturday, we can watch the pool party from 9:00 PM PT to 1:00 AM PT. I can't wait for all of that! You better be in the chat room! By the way, Natalie won't be there because she had to fly back home for prior plans (friend's wedding).

I hope you enjoy some random interviews and videos below! As you find different ones, send the links my way! The juicier the better!

Update at 3:30 PM - The link to all of the interviews from Diane (BB5) are right here.

Update - The streaming from Vegas will actually be in the Big Brother SuperPass section under Live at the Studio. The footage is supposed to be available later as well in case you don't get the chance to see it live.

Jordan Wins Big Brother 11

I didn't care too much for the three hamsters that made it to the end but the format of the finale more than made up for it. Watching the three parts of the final Head of Household competition live on the television show really upped the suspense and entertainment value of the season itself. Do not go back to the old season-ending schedule for Big Brother 12 Allison Grodner!

Where do I start on the show itself last night? I loved that every time Natalie said she'd never backstabbed or lied the audience guffawed. Jordan winning the final HOH competition was almost unbelievable. Julie's questions for the jury and then the questions and remarks from the first four evicted were priceless! It was only fitting that Ronnie was the one to expose Natalie's real age to Jordan. Even more fitting was exposing Jessie's remark to Julie in the HOH room early in the season about his platonic relationship with Lydia. I just knew that Julie would never forget that! I wonder if Lydia felt like she'd been played as a fool after seeing that.

The questions for Natalie and Jordan from the jury were fairly good this season. They've bounced back and forth between being lame and bitter in the previous seasons so it was nice it seemed they actually put some thought into them this time. But how great was Michele's mention of Natalie being 18 years old in her question concerning lying? Natalie just fell right into that trap didn't she?

I want you all to fess up now. A month ago, who among you would have thought that Jordan would be winning Big Brother 11? I know I didn't! I definitely thought the votes would have been closer than what they were though. It was no surprise that Lydia voted for Jordan to win over Natalie because she's been awfully bitter about her in the jury house the whole time. I was absolutely shocked that Jessie voted for Jordan to win though. I guess Lydia really did crawl up into his head and poison him against Natalie. Oh well, I don't mind!

Congratulations Jordan! I was a fan of yours for about half the season and then not so much the rest. But you won what you needed to in the end to ensure yourself a place in the final two so I have to give you credit for that. Enjoy the half million and I hope Jeff takes you on that trip to Hawaii!

I will be posting links to videos and interviews here on Silly Hamsters as they're posted across the web. So while the season has ended, the posts here haven't. Keep an eye out on SuperPass today because Chelsia Hart's post-season interviews from the backyard of the house will be posted there. Also, be sure to check out Express Lunch and a special BB Hour on SuperPass today beginning at 12:00 PM PT. You also might enjoy what will be shown on the feeds Friday and Saturday evening. Can you say live streams from the Big Brother party in Las Vegas?

So what did you all think about the show last night? Are you happy with how things turned out? What were your favorite parts of the show? What did you think about having a two-hour finale? Did you like the new schedule for the final week of Big Brother? Tell me anything and everything you want about this season in the comments!

Update at 11:00 AM - Here are a few interviews with Jordan. There will be more to come later!

Tonight's The Night

Big Brother 11 will be ending tonight after more than two months. Tonight! I can't believe the end is really here and either Jordan, Kevin, or Natalie is going to walk away with $500,000. Who would have ever thought that these three would have been the hamsters still standing at the end?

There is just one group of questions that need to be asked at this point. If Kevin wins the final part of the Head of Household competition tonight, who will he take with him to the end and would he beat either Jordan or Natalie for the big money? What about Jordan? Would the jury vote for her over Kevin or Natalie? And who does Natalie have the best chance against - Kevin or Jordan? How do you think the jury will vote in these three scenarios?

Tune in today at 2:00 PM PT on SuperPass for a video version of Real's Express Lunch where Missy and a special guest host will be talking nothing but Big Brother in anticipation of the finale tonight. Then check back here at 9:00 PM/8:00 PM CT where I'll be liveblogging the finale and hanging out in chat.

I can't wait to hear who you think the jury will vote for in the three final two scenarios above. Is who you would like to win different than who you think the jury will vote for? If so, who do you want to win? Tell me what you think in the comments!

Bittersweet

Tonight is the last night the feeds will be on and I'm a little sad about it. We have been obsessing over the hamsters ever since they were revealed to us on July 1st. And when the live feeds came on after the show on July 9th, it was on like Donkey Kong!

What are we going to do after watching these silly hamsters for over two months? I don't know about you but I think I can find some things that need to be taken care of. Not to mention, we'll have all of our favorite fall shows starting back up for the season.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention some of the action that happened in the house a little bit ago. There has been jack crap going on in there since Friday but the day before the finale things finally perk up some. Shortly after 2:00 PM BBT, a Beatles song ('Martha My Dear') began playing over the loudspeakers in the backyard. And then there was a banner plane!

Yes indeed, our first of this season. The plane and the banner weren't exactly shown on the feeds but Kevin was shown looking up at it and pointing while looking at Natalie. The feeds then went to the control room where you could see some of what was happening here and here.

The live feeds then went to trivia and stayed there for a little bit. When they came back from trivia, the three of them were sitting in the backyard bashing Michelle. Kevin did mention later that the banner had the words 'Natalie' and 'trust' on it. Natalie didn't find that too funny and said back that she saw the words 'Kevin' and 'liar'. Who knows if we'll ever find out what the banner said and if it even meant anything to the Big Brother game. It certainly didn't in Big Brother 10.

I will be liveblogging the finale tomorrow night (yes, all two hours!) so I hope you join us back here at 9:00 PM ET/8:00 PM CT. All of the fun for the evening will certainly be started much earlier in the chat room so jump in there too! Then stick around after the show where we'll be talking about everything that happened on the show and watching the live backyard interviews being conducted by Evel Dick at this link.

So what are your thoughts about these final 24 hours of live feeds? What would you have wanted the banner plane to have said? Would it really even matter at this point? Have you seen the first part of Ross Mathews' interviewing Keesha, Janelle, Boogie, and Danielle yet? Finally, do you plan on joining us here tomorrow evening for all of the finale action?

Best Moments

I can't believe the season is almost over and there is only one more show left. That is what makes the clip show so fun to watch. We saw hamsters we haven't seen in a while and remembered why we loved and/or hated them. Besides, there's nothing else to watch on the feeds at this point in time. It's the same way every season and this one is no exception. So why not enjoy a clip show?

I don't care what anybody thinks but the best part of the show (and of the season) was when Chima was expelled. Chima was a straight up spoiled rotten wannabe diva and it was absolutely delicious to watch her get kicked out of the house again. Don't sit down. Don't pass Go. Don't collect $200. Just get the hell out.

Jessie's funeral on Day 40 was another great moment of the season. I remember watching Lydia, Natalie, and Chima carry on about his eviction on the live feeds that night and it was beyond pitiful. The edited version with the sad music in the background and Kevin's reactions at the dining room table and in the diary room made it so much better. I really hope those women watch that clip when the game is over and see how foolish they looked.

No matter what I think about Jeff and Jordan personally, they made a really cute couple in the house. Their conversations made me laugh out loud many many times. Sharks are gross! I want to be a pretty fish. I'll be a squirrel because they live in neighborhoods. You'll take the ring I give you. I can't believe I'm engaged. They're not the brightest bulbs in the room but they are cute.

But hey, Jeff did do one thing right. He used the Coup d'Etat that we gave to him and used it to get the person out that we wanted him to. Adios Mr. Pectacular! We also enjoyed watching him go off on Miss I'm Not Shlurring My Words. That was a fun afternoon in the house. It was nice to see Mr. Hose really give it to Lydia!

Some of the other interesting moments included in the clip show were Casey in his banana suit, Jordan chest-bumping Russell, and Michele's sleep talking. And who could dislike watching Ronnie cry like a little girl? Boo freaking hoo! I certainly didn't feel sorry for Ronnie when Russell was shadowing him. Natalie's over-the-top reaction towards bugs is also always good to watch when you're feeling blue. By the way, where were Laura and Braden?

So what were your favorite moments from the clip show? Do you have any favorite moments from this season that were left out of the show? And what about the competitions? Did you have a favorite one this season? I'm also curious to know what you thought about the Have Nots situation. Is that something you'd like Big Brother to incorporate into the twelfth season? Did you like voting for the silly food for the Have Nots to eat with their slop or do you think it was a waste? Do you think there's a better way they could have done this? Let me know in the comments!
